Twilight Town was unusually quite this evening. The streets were empty and not a single sound was heard bar the wind blowing past every now and then, shooting it's chilling air through the darkened streets and alleys of the Tram Common. Even the trams themselves had stopped running since who, or whatever was controlling them had obviously fled for their own safety. But from what? The were no Heartless present within the Tram Common, though the unmistakable aura of Darkness was present and it was powerful! The sky was covered in heavy, dark clouds, resembling the same scene that hovers above the world of Radiant Garden. The wind was cold and cut to the bone when it blew past, which was pretty frequent. A scene that was certainly not befit of Twilight Town at all... or was it?
To be honest, the world was currently controlled by the Light, as one users of the Darkness could sense it's almighty power dwelling deep within the core of the world itself. The weather and general scenery was so bleak, because of the Darkness user that had come here to do battle. Two worlds had fallen to his double bladed Katana now. First being Destiny Island and second being his home world, Gaia. Was Twilight Town going to be the third? Judging from the look upon the leather clad male's face, he certainly seemed confident enough. Long silver hair reaching just blow the youth's shoulders, blew across his face from right to left as the wind caught it. Piercing mako eyes glowed brightly from behind the silver veil of hair, watching and waiting for his prey to come and make themselves known.
Standing upon the roof of a stopped Tram, Kadaj, Leader of the Remnants, turned around upon his axis as his eyes took in everything around him. A completely different scene to the battle he won on Gaia. This time, not a soul was in sight. There was also a nice large open space to do battle, without any Meteor Monuments or half built buildings to get in the way of things. Taking a moment to peer skywards, the Remnant shot his turquoise eyes to the cloudy sky above and just smirked to himself as he came to the conclusion that there would easily be enough space around here to call forth Bahamut SIN if the need called for it. Merely thinking about the sheer destructive power of the King of Dragons, caused the red orb of Materia to glow slightly within his left forearm.
After raising his right arm and tightening his fingers over the glowing red orb, Kadaj just smirked to himself as he lowered his head, eyes landing upon the summon Materia. "I know you want to come out and play, and i'm sure you'll get your chance..." Kadaj removed his arm and brought them both back down to his sides, where he then turned around on his heels. Durable leather boots squeaked slightly from the pressure underfoot when the Remnant turned, his eyes glancing off into the distance off towards the Item Shop. "... But this is Roxas' home world... apparently. With any luck, my little attack here will draw him out and then I can finally destroy him before heading after the next Organization XIII member."
With a swift motion, the Remnant Leader suddenly spun around. As he did, he had drawn his Souba in one instant movement which was followed by a sharp sound of metal slicing through metal merely a split second afterwards. Upon completing his 180 degree spin, the silver-haired youth smirked violently as he returned the twin bladed weapon back to it's sheath. Casting a glance over his shoulder, the Remnant watched as the front two feet of the Tram, half of the drivers cockpit, suddenly groaned before sliding down to the ground with a heavy metallic thud. Dust was thrown up from the impact and the glass windows around the drivers seat shattered when coming into contact with the hard, cold floor underneath. Kadaj merely grinned to himself, knowing that he had gained enough strength now to battle the Legendary Keyblader's Nobody, and defeat him. "Come to me Roxas... your time has arrived!!"

Why was this happening?
Roxas knew that something was happening to Twilight Town - he wasn't sure how he knew, and he didn't care how he knew. The fact was that in the middle of another mission - thank oblivion he was doing it solo - he felt the call of the only world he could ever call his home, and without a second thought he portalled there. Usually XIII thought all his moves through carefully, considering what he was doing rather than acting as rashly as he had before, considering that had only ended up hurting himself and his friends. But when it came to something like Twilight Town...well, his rationality was more than sacrificed as his more defensive side completely took over.
The moment the keyblader entered the world, he felt the suffocating feeling of the darkness - a feeling that he was more than used to, considering it was how most of the worlds the Nobodies frequented felt, but it was a feeling that was NOT supposed to be in Twilight Town. This place was his escape, his one place that he could go to and feel safe, and comfortable, and feel like maybe everything would be all right someday. Not that he felt he even deserved those feelings most of the time, but it was nice to pretend. He needed that time. He needed a place to escape the darkness - maybe it was just Sora within him, but he didn't care. This was something he could not allow to happen.
The Nobody had already saved Destiny Islands from the darkness once, after all - he had done that for his Other, that much he knew. Now it was time for him to save something truly important to him. He didn't care if that was selfish.
Roxas' name reached his ears suddenly, cutting through the dark feeling that was enough to make him sick, though the voice crying it out was an unfamiliar one. It was coming from the tram common, and Roxas' feet too him to the familiar area quickly through the back alley near the Usual Spot...all reminders of how much he did not want this place to fall to the darkness, lest he lose places like that. Upon entering the big area, he saw a figure clad in black with silver hair standing upon a tram that had been slashed in half - was this the man that had called to him? He looked vaguely familiar, and XIII thought perhaps he had seen him in the Land of Dragons with Xaldin once, but that was quite a long time ago and nothing had come of the encounter, but then...
...why did he want Roxas? And how did he even know who he was, anyway? And who was HE for that matter?
"Hey you!" Roxas called out at the figure, anger clearly evident in his voice - whether he could honestly feel emotions or not was something the blonde had always struggled with, but what was evident enough was that he seemed to have extreme emotional swings when something big happened, and this was one of those times. Axel had always told him it was just a memory of how he should feel at that moment, rather than an actual feeling, but Roxas didn't always believe that. Times like these, he could feel the anger burning in his chest, and it was hard to imagine that as nothing more than a memory. He pulled his hood up over his head, then immediately summoned Oathkeeper and Oblivion into his hands, racing across the expanse between himself and the destroyed tram that held his obvious adversary. "What are you even gaining by destroying that?" Roxas then demanded, pointing with one of his weapons at the tram.
"There's nothing to be gained by taking this world to the darkness!" Roxas' voice was raising, and he was quickly becoming more and more defensive. It was something he usually kept a check on, but at this moment he could care less. He had to protect this place! He just had to. "Just get out of here!"

He wasn't here... He's just... not here....again.
A small groan escaped the lips of Emil as she placed her hand upon her heart, tighten the grip upon the fabric that protected her chest before inhaling a mass of breath before releasing it to reveal that the weight upon her shoulders were still so heavy. It was another world that her master have brought her to, a world which appeared to be so lovely yet it was empty. Not a single crowd or laughter, or even opened shops. It was as if these people knew something was going to happen, something horrible and dark. Could Emil deny it? No, she couldn't.
After all, she was apart of this unlawful war game.
Though what upset her the most was the fact of her brother not being located here. Even though the town was so empty, it would be a lot easier to track him, but it seems the darkness not only scared the town's people... but her brother away too. It seems even with the worlds falling to darkness, it is still difficult to deal with the search of my brother. She thought as she moved to the location where her master told her to meet him, the place where they would cause destruction once more.
A small sigh passed her lips as she felt the small grief within her starting to leak out into small amount of tears, feeling the sharp pain of her chest tightening up as she took one more sharp breath. She needed to be strong, she needed to continue this even though it seemed so wrong. Though she may be causing problems, if all the worlds fall into darkness and only one remain. Surely her brother would escape to a new world, protected by the light or something and if he is there... she will find him.
Returning to reality, she heard the voice of her master calling out an unknown name. This caused Emil to pick up her pace as she entered the rather wide clear area. On top of one of the unmoving tram (now destroyed) was Kadaj, her ever so raging master who appeared with a false sense of security when she first met him. As time pass and the two fought along side with each other, she discovered Kadaj's true side and intentions. Yet, Emil still stuck by him even though she knew she was being used. After all, she was using him slightly too, right? So it was an eye for an eye.
Emil was just about to move to a different location when she noticed who the lad Kadaj was speaking to. It was the same boy in which she attempted to attack in Destiny Island, the boy who reminded her of ---
It's Sora's friend. He's one of Sora's friend! The thoughts of that day and the day where Sora gave her courage rushed into her head. She didn't want a friend of Sora to be fighting, she didn't want her master to be fighting Sora's friend in general. She given so much respect to Sora, she just didn't want Sora or his friends to be hurt. She didn't want Sora to be upset if one of his friends were put in danger. Though the thought may be overprotective and misjudging of Roxas skill in fighting, but there's always a what if factor and Emil didn't want to take that chance.
What she was going to do about it now though? Run in and drag him away from battle? Yell out? Even if she wanted to yell, what were the consequence of her master discovering her friendship with the enemy? Then again, did Roxas (guessing it was his name from last battle's name shout and current) even know that she had befriended Sora? That even though she was an enemy of the light, there was a reason for it?
Probably not.
Biting her bottom lip, she started walking towards the two as she drew out her sword from it's sheath. Gripping it within her hand as she eyed Roxas before stopping a good distance from Roxas and her master. Her eyes moved to glance toward her master before placing her gaze upon Roxas once more, feeling a small sense of guilt building within her.
"Hello again." Giving off a faint smile toward the blonde as the hint of regret was shown through her eyes.

Kairi had followed after Roxas as soon as she had seen the duress and worry upon his face. Since that fateful meeting within the World That Never Was, so many things had changed. Her heart, and even her own morals at this point, but it was to protect both Roxas and Xion. The Princess had so desperately wanted to protect her new friends, and to find a way to expel the new being within her heart, and so that had lead her to where she was now. Was she a pawn? There was no doubt in her mind that Xemnas planned to do something with her, but that was not the most important thing now. Kairi could sense the immense darkness that now plagued Twilight Town, and one that was all too familiar to the Princess. Oceanic eyes peered from beneath the shadow of her hood, heeled boots clicking gently against the cement ground as she moved forward. The Usual Spot was nearby, but the darkness was growing stronger the closer she came to it. And so the Princess broke into a run, worried about Roxas, and not wishing to leave him out of her sight.
Kairi felt the coat heavy against her skin, and she still had yet to grow used to the odd feeling of wearing one. It would prevent her from being discovered, and so maybe Roxas would merely think of her as Xion. Kairi was a little taller than the raven-haired girl, but hopefully the heels of the boots would hide that fact. "Roxas!" Her voice carried over as she ran, but the Princess had not meant to call out his name, but so similar was her voice to Xion's, maybe it would not matter. Oceanic eyes peered at Kadaj, watching as he stood upon the wreckage of the tram he had destroyed, and it sent a flare of anger through her. He had taken Destiny Islands from her before, and she refused to allow Twilight Town to be taken as well. This world had been her haven when she had ended up within the Usual Spot all those years ago. Her heart raced, and Kairi summoned Dark Reflection to her hand, the keyblade appearing within her hand in a web of inky black.
It was then that she sensed another presence, and Kairi turned her head to view the blond haired girl suddenly coming forward. An odd balance of light and dark, though the darkness seemed to be shadowing her heart. Why was she here? Or was she an ally of Kadaj's? Her lips were marred by a frown, and Kairi looked back to the silver-haired man. Her face was hidden beneath her hood, but she placed a reassuring hand upon Roxas's shoulder, hoping that he at least knew she was his friend, whether he mistook her for Xion, or knew her for who she truly was. "Don't worry, Roxas. They won't take this world, too," she murmured gently. Giving a reassuring squeeze once, she allowed her hand to slip away. Standing beside her friend, she would ready herself for this fight. To protect Twilight Town from Kadaj, and to make sure the keyblade master beside her was not hurt either.

From above Yazoo looked around the place. He had been there, coming and going on many occasions had brought him to know this place. It felt strange to have come there more than anywhere else since his return. It was the center he used, always coming there for rest or to have a quiet time alone. He had met there people, but so far there had been no fights involved with his visits to the world. Now, he had come there to find out a strange feeling. The feeling of Light. It wasn't exactly strange to find it under the Light's control, but it seemed strange to him that he had never tried to take the world. Many plans where made here, many information found, it was truly a special world.
The Remnant had learned more about Roxas from this world, also learning bits about Organization XIII, but that was not all. He had wanted to find DiZ again, or Naminé, but even though he had not met the girl for such a long while. He had came to evade her, to not end up in battle against the Nobody as she had helped him on many occasions. Remembering his only meeting with Roxas just made him feel good to meet him now. A smirk flashed on the silver-haired man's face. He took pleasure in fighting, but to fight someone that kept all information hidden to him, made him want to destroy the Nobody more. It didn't even matter anymore whether Roxas would tell him now or not. The only part of his research that still confused him was the Heartless, but he would figure it out on his own. Perhaps, perhaps not. It had no longer anything to do with him.
In a single moment the Remnant sensed around him, Darkness, Light, there were people. As Yazoo walked a bit over the roof of a building, he could see the group all together. His brother seemed to have chosen to greet the Light personally with his apprentice. Yazoo was still robed in the cloak that resembled Organization XIII's cloaks, but the hood was still ripped since his battle with Vincent Valentine. Suddenly the Remnant jumped forward and rushed forward, as he moved he took out his Velvet Nightmare gun and jumped up onto a wall, now closer to the group, he stationed himself more behind Roxas with a greater distance than there was between Roxas and Kadaj. Seeing it as more strategic to block the Light from both sides. As he came to a halt onto the building he had jumped against, he aimed his gun at Roxas and shot twice as the Keyblader's torso/back and once at the head.

Twilight Town, a world of in-between, closer to the light of the never-ending dusk. Where a lazy afternoon seemed to stretch on for most of the day, the time here on this world stretched out more than it was in other worlds, at least the way that Noctis saw it in his time here. The Prince had arrived at the Station Heights, the subtle warm wind of the afternoon tasseling his ebony black hair, and the loose hems of his usual combat and travel attire flapping gently against his skin. The atmosphere of this town cast in orange, gold and pink hues were so relaxing to the eye and the ear... so then, why was he here? Dark blue eyes spotted a cloaked figure crossing his path ahead of him, and Noctis made the immediate decision to persistently follow with a hastened vigor in his step.
He had not been to this world before, as far as he could recall... and he couldn't sense anything beyond his normal five senses, but the cloaked figure he pursued ahead of him gave him something to be concerned about. It was not often that cloaked individuals crossed his path, and the last one that had, was a man wearing a white robe which had infiltrated his castle. Perhaps this person was part of that same group, or something completely different, but the way the individual was running out in the open while veiling their face in a black-hooded cloak cried out for more attention than the guise was designed to suggestively avoid. Either way, Caelum was going to get some answers, and followed after the shorter figure as he hung some distance back to avoid detection. It wasn't until the mysterious entity came to a stop in a different area, and Noctis slowed his pace as he peered out from behind the corner of a building, did he understand to some degree what was going on.
The shorter person met with a sightly taller and identical black-cloaked figure, wielding two of those key-shaped swords, and immediately Noctis could see key differences more than just the obvious pun of the warrior's dual weapons. There was the fact the person he had followed had narrower feet, with heels he now noticed, with a slender frame made him hazard a guess the one that summoned a single dark key-shaped blade was female in comparison to her male counterpart. He had seen keys like this on another world called the Keyblade Graveyard... yes, that's what the special weapons were called, keyblades. And yet these ones were living with color and thrumming with light and darkness, and he was not certain of their intentions, but the one they had their weapons drawn against gave him enough of a reason to believe that they were not the barbarians in this picture.
Facing off against them and standing on a tram not too far away he had destroyed himself with his own arrogance, was a familiar face he had not hoped to see again, that of the man named Kadaj. Noctis had met with him before on one occasion, and had assessed he had nothing but hostile intentions, the both of them having become locked in a ferocious battle with each other. He glanced over to see he was not alone facing the two keybarers off, as a blond youth had also strode in as she unsheathed her sword, clearly turned against the two. A two-on-two struggle was more than obvious to break out, and the young prince would have remained there to watch and step in when he felt like it would be his business, if it wasn't for the fact he spotted the obvious contrast of another black cloak against the pale walls of the buildings surrounding the scene. Noctis figured this had to be another friend of theirs, with the same black cloak... his presence was not needed here, after all.
He watched however as everyone stood still to face each other off, except for the black-hooded figure on the rooftops, who circled and was coming around to their side where his fellow black-hooded cloaked people were. But his body language was... odd, he thought he could see the glimmer for the moment of bright aquamarine eyes within the dark hood, but it was gone again as it stared continuously at his two allies. But that was the thing that was off... why was his head in their direction focused on them, and not of Kadaj and the blond kid as the enemy? Unless... he didn't have long to have his theory proven, as the man jumped towards a wall closer to them and pulled out a gun aimed at them. A sneak attack from behind was a dead giveaway this black-hooded figure was not a friend of theirs and thus a ally of Kadaj, and immediately the eyes of the prince burned from a dark azure to a brilliant bright amber.
Bullets shot out towards the dual-wielding stranger in black, and suddenly all three were instantly deflected as if by nothing, as shimmering weapons materialized out of thin air from where they had bounced harmlessly from and spun in a protective tight circle around both the black-cloaked enigmas in a Coat of Arms. Slowly stepping out behind them, his walk filled with utmost confidence and solemnity as the weapons encompassed and disappeared around their master, the raven-haired man appeared and came to stand next to them without so much as a glance in their direction to meet their eye. "I don't know either of you; but Kadaj is bad news, so let's fight together on this one." he simply said to the both of them in a grave yet shy whisper of a voice, as he summoned his own main weapon within his right gloved hand, the gear-hilted engraved sword only known as Falchion. Behind him, a sigil formed within the air of white and blue neon trails, tracing a crest which completed behind him and emblazoned with an unknown power, as he spoke without turning around to the gunman and by extension Kadaj and the blond. "You're nothing but a coward. If you need tricks to deceive us, then you've already lost." He had afterthoughts that he shouldn't have gotten himself involved in a fight between mysterious faces in shadow, but Kadaj was about as bad as they came, so his intuition told him this standing on this side felt... right, and all regret erased from his mind stood with the wielders of the keyblade.
"Can your bullets get around my blades?" he queried openly to the assailant behind them. And then suddenly he had turned around and thrown Falchion with rapid speed at the black-hooded cloaked figure on the wall behind them, initiating the battle had begun as he immediately vanished from his spot next to the two cloaked persona's as he used Teleportation and caught the handle of his trusted weapon, slashing it horizontally in a powerful blow to crush the enigmatic gunman into the wall behind him he had stopped against. The young weapons-master was doomed to have his life surrounded by and taken with death he could not see coming; as long as he was going to lose everything in his life he had come to cherish and love, he may as well find something to fight for with the two brave souls he had decided to defend, so that maybe this world of theirs would not be as imperiled as his heavy heart. "You cannot change my fate; so don't even try!" [LT:Yoko Shimomura - Somnus (Final Fantasy Versus XIII)]

Waiting for just a few more moments, the black-clad figure of the Remnant Leader could only smirk when he noticed his intended target coming his way. The broken glass from the tram's windows had fallen silent and the dust caused from the crash had all but vanished now as well, leaving the battle ground clear and silent. That was however, until the faint echo of footsteps soon reached the silver-haired youth's ears. However, he didn't turn nor look away from the small lad who came to see what had caused the destruction of the tram. Roxas had indeed come just as Kadaj had planned, and this merely caused Kadaj to grip his fist a fraction tighter around the tightly wrapped handle of his Souba. As the lad spoke out to him, the Remnant remained stationary, his face showing a devilish smirk that gave the impression he was going to enjoy the upcoming minutes to their highest extent.
"I'm so glad you came Roxas!!" Kadaj said, almost shouting in a somewhat excited tone of voice as he raised both his arms up to his sides, whilst raising his shoulders and arching his back a fraction, looking down upon the young Keybarer with a murderous look within his glowing mako-powered eyes. Kadaj hated the Keybarers. Sora, Roxas, Riku and Selena. He had plans to destroy every last one of them, but he currently still had his goal of finishing off Organization XIII to deal with first. The silver-haired Remnant was doing pretty well in his quest to destroy the gang who turned the Remnant Brothers against each other. Demyx, Xion, Vexen, Axel, Lexaeus and Zexion had fallen in combat the to the Remnant's ever growing strength and skills. Xigbar and Xaldin he had encountered, as well as the coward Luxord, who started this all off. They were still on his hit list, but the next one was standing right in front of him.
"Perhaps I don't have anything to gain from covering this world in Darkness..." Kadaj said with a sinister chuckle before he continued, lowering his arms back down to his sides before pointing his twin-bladed katana in Roxas' direction. "But YOU have everything to loose if I convert this world to Darkness. The Light will have one less place to hide and then I'll go on to conquer MORE world, just like I did to Destiny Island and Gaia." Kadaj drew his arm back, slashing the Souba down to his side which in turn caused the blades to sing a somewhat deathly tune as they sliced through the thin air. The Souba was already a dangerous weapon that only the Remnant Leader could use, and combined with the destructive force of Draw Slash, there wasn't a single object he couldn't slice in two.
Yet the silver-haired youth broke eye contact from the Organization's Keybarer, to peer off to the distance, watching as a figure came running towards them both. Clad in a Organization XIII cloak, Kadaj at first assumed it was his brother, Yazoo, whom had gained one of these cloaks and was using it to his advantage. The footsteps carried a clicking sound with them though, which one could only chalk to to being high heels on a pair of boots. Hood raised and covering this new characters face, Kadaj tuned in his senses to try and discover whom was hiding behind the black cloak. As expected however, he wasn't picking anything up which only made Kadaj believe that whoever it was, were just another Nobody and that could only lead to a second Organization XIII member coming to aid Roxas. But who was it? The high heel boots indicated that the figure was female, but she looked a fraction too tall to be Xion. Kadaj narrowed his eyes as he glared towards the newcomer, raking his memory to figure out who else this might be.
~Larxene and Xion are the only female Org. Members I know about...~ Kadaj thought to himself as he looked the new female figure up and down a couple of times. The raised hood and darkened shadow covering his face made it almost impossible to tell their identity with visuals alone. The lack of a heart, supposedly, also made detecting a person's identity difficult. Yet as the female spoke out to her black cloaked friend, the Remnant's eyes widened a fraction. Not only did the soft, female voice indicate the obvious, it was also an awfully familiar voice at that. However the appearance of her own Keyblade, complete with the two Roxas had summoned, quickly threw the Remnant's theory into doubt. Glowing turquoise eyes narrowed dangerously as he watched the two Keyblade users before him get ready to do battle. This was going to be a very exciting battle, one which Kadaj still held awfully high confidence of winning.
Kadaj wasn't alone though, and nor were the two Keybarers. Emil, his apprentice, had arrived to accompany him as well as his brother, Yazoo arriving in style as usual to give Kadaj long range support and attack the flanks of both the Keybarers. The enjoyable 'pings' of bullets reflecting off metal swiftly reached the Remnant's ears and he watched in mild disappointment as the familiar figure of Noctis arrived to lend the Keybarers his weapon... or weapons. What a pain in the rear end. Still, a smirk spread across his lips as he thought up of a plan to not only test his own battle prowess, but for him to also see how much his dear brother and his dark apprentice had learned on their own. Kadaj stepped forwards, his durable leather boots clunking against the metallic roof of the destroyed tram. "Yazoo, Emil. Both of you tear Noctis limb from limb... leave the two Key-brats to me!!"
And with that, Kadaj instantly vanished in a cluster of black feathers, right before Roxas' and the female Keybarer's eyes. As the feathers began their decent down from the tram's rooftop, Kadaj instantaneously reappeared right in between the two Organization XIII members. "It's time for some FUN!!" Kadaj shouted loudly the moment he reappeared from his Teleport, throwing his right arm up into the sky as he did so. Three brightly glowly spots appeared the ground around the silver-haired youth in a triangle formation. One of the glowing areas right underneath Roxas' feet, a second underfoot of the female Org. Member and the third taking Kadaj's flank. Everything happened fast, as the three glowing patches on the ground swiftly erupted skywards in a blazing hot Flame Pillar attack. Each pillar of flame burned at an incredibly heat which in turn sucked in anything nearby to be engulfed in the flames and burnt to a crisp. This battle had begun and if Kadaj's orders were followed, he'd have to fight as best he could right off the bat against the two Keybarers.

Roxas' attention that was so keenly fixed on Kadaj was momentarily averted when he heard the soft hello, and he gazed from under his cloak at a familiar blonde figure - it was that strange girl that had attacked Destiny Island! What was she doing back here, again fighting for the Darkness against him? Roxas still had no idea who she was, but she just didn't have the stench of darkness hanging on her like figures such as Kadaj did, so...why was she doing this? "You again?!" Roxas exclaimed in surprise, and made no effort to keep the angry edge out of his tone as he shot a glare at her - even if she couldn't see it under his hood, it still made the keyblader feel better. "Get out of here before you get really hurt this time," he then muttered at her, turning his attention back to the silver-haired man standing on top of the destroyed tram. Roxas did not want to hurt someone that wasn't of the darkness, but if she was going to attack Twilight Town - well, he would do what he had to to bring the Light back to the town.
Suddenly, XIII heard his name called once more - but this time it was a female voice...and a familiar one at that. He glanced over to see another cloaked Organization figure, about his own size, crossing the Tram Common towards him. Xion! She had come to help him - and he was not about to turn her away. This had been a refuge for her as well...until the very end. She had every right to fight back against Kadaj, and besides...Roxas could use the help, and he was not going to turn away her powerful keyblade. However, when Xion approached him, the keybearer felt a slightly different aura coming from his friend, and for a moment, he was confused...it felt like Xion, but something felt...amiss. Something was different...and then she summoned her keyblade, one that he had never seen before. "You got a new keyblade," he then said in recognition, taking a moment to admire the weapon before giving a nod of approval. Maybe he was just losing himself in the gravity of the situation or something - well, whatever it was, he would have to deal with it later.
The Key of Destiny offered a smile to the girl from beneath his hood at his side as she squeezed his shoulder, and he felt a reassurance sweep through him that he knew was inappropriate - they were hardly on safe ground yet, but having a friend there did make him admittedly feel better. It gave him the peace of mind to focus on his enemy once more, as the monster addressed him by his name again. "How do you know who I am?!" Roxas demanded of the dark figure, confused - he did not even know the silver-haired man's name, and had only seen him once, but this was the third time the man had said his own name. The Organization was not exactly publicly broad-casted, so where had he gotten the information from, and why was he targeting Roxas through this town? How had he even known that Twilight Town meant something to Organization XIII's Number XIII? Something was extremely out of place, and Roxas wanted to know what it was...
And before he could even think another thought, he barely had time to recognize that he was about to be attacked from behind. There was absolutely no way that he was going to be able to evade the attack, and for a split second, the blonde thought everything was going to be over before it began - except, that the attack never came. Roxas spun around where he stood, ignoring the other man for a moment to see what had happened in time to see the shield of swords that had just saved his life, as well as the man that had cast them - a man with bluish black hair, and glowing eyes. A man with a confusing aura of neither light nor darkness...but he had just saved Roxas, so that had to mean something, right? At least that he was not on the side of the silver-haired man, the little blonde girl, or....the man that had just attacked him? More confusion came to XIII as he noticed that his attacker had what appeared to be an Organization cloak as well, but it was not any member that he knew...
Just what was going on?? Things were beginning to be nothing more than frustrating, and that was only inciting the rage within Roxas that was growing by the second. He hated being uninformed, as usual, and wasn't going to stand for it much longer.
However, there was not much more time for talk, and Roxas gave the newcomer a quick nod of thank you, hoping that the other man knew what he could not say at the moment, before he was forced to turn his attention back to the original silver-haired menace as he stated rather arrogantly that he was going to take on both Roxas and Xion alone. Clearly, he did not understand the power of the keyblade....yet. He moved unbelievably quick, though, and was standing before the two keybearers in the blink of an eye and had already cast a powerful fire spell. The Nobody was caught up in the edge of it before he could jump out of the way completely, and the heat from the fire singed his skin right through his heavy cloak - if the material had been thinner, it would have been much worse.
Roxas quickly beat a bit of lingering flame off of his sleeve as he pushed himself back to his feet from where he had fallen in an attempt to miss the attack, ignoring that his very cloak was literally smoking on one side as he set himself up for an attack. "Get out of my home!" the words slipped from XIII's mouth without him even thinking about them, or considering if he even had the right to call Twilight Town his 'home,' and he was soon sending a flurry of quick, spiralling keyblade double-melee attacks at the other man, attempting to move quick enough to manoeuvre behind him and perhaps unleash a few hits in the back.
[Sorry guys, I know that's really scatter-brained and just not that great of a style of writing, but its already midnight and I really wanted to get a post out for you I'll put more time into my next one! I hope its enough to work with ><]

The yelling of the blond haired boy caused Emil to flinched slightly, remaining still as she felt the sharp pain of guilt within her heart. As much as she wanted to leave, she couldn't. She needed to find her brother and to do so, she needed to set this world into darkness. Emil opened her mouth slightly, mumbling small nonsense at first as she searched for words that could tell Roxas that she wasn't a real enemy.
"I know Sora, I'm not --" Her words were cut short when she spotted someone new rushing to Roxas. They wore the same cloak, but this one had a feminine appearance. Speaking of the cloak, didn't the fire-red head back on Destiny Island had one like that too? Was it a new fashion statement going on? Who knew, Emil surely didn't. If she knew any better, she would guess it was some sort of guild or something. Maybe when she's not fighting, she could check up on this. If she came out alive from here anyways...
Emil released a slight gasp from the sound of gun fire before her eyes stared in awe at the mass amounts of weapons suddenly appearing to protect Roxas, deflecting the bullets. Blinking a few times before moving her head to where she heard the gun shots from, noticing Kadaj's brother hanging about from the background. She didn't notice him there and didn't expect the male to do such a surprise attack so quickly, but then again... war has no rule. There was a winner and a loser, that was it.
Emil took a step back, feeling rather small compared to those who have just appeared and at the same time; pathetic. What kind of king was she to be such a coward at the mere sight of others who seem to oppose greater power?
"You're nothing but a coward. If you need tricks to deceive us, then you've already lost."
...Okay, not a king who would take that comment so lightly.
Emil's royal blood within her suddenly started to boil as she turn on the heel of her foot to face this male who made such a comment. Unafraid of the little show displayed behind him, though it did spark her interest. After all, the symbol appeared to be some sort of emblem and not some sort of summoning. Could this man be royal? No, it couldn't be. After all, royalty is rare... right?
"I... for one, am not a coward." She started to speak, clenching her sword tightly within her grasp as she heard the words of her master. An order to take on Noctis with Yazoo as he battled the other two. Emil was hesitant at first, not wishing to leave Roxas in the hands of her master, but she had to agree to avoid suspicion. She could also take this chance in proving that she wasn't a coward.
"A king is no coward in battle, it will not happen!" And with that, Emil dash away from the other three and straight to her new target. Her blade ready as she lowered her upper body, picking up more speed as her eyes became sharp. Leaping into the air, she did a 360 spin before bringing down the blade upon Noctis. it was a small attempt of an attack, but she wanted to see more of what he was capable of.

The sounds of gunshots turned her attention, and Kairi suddenly turned, eyes widened at the sight of another cloaked figure. No, not in the Organization, but the attack was aimed right at Roxas. Before she could even summon a Reflect spell, a weapon had materialized out of thin air, blocking the sudden attacks. The appearance of this new male caught her attention, and she felt very wary for a moment. No, he did not appear to be an enemy, because he had protected Roxas. The Princess felt her heart racing quite heavily against her chest, and she looked to the blond worriedly, not wanting anything to happen to her dear friend. The auburn-haired girl quickly pivoted upon her heel, an angry cry upon her lips at the mention of Destiny Islands. All her fault, for being so weak, and tears burned at her eyes briefly. No, she could not get emotional like this! If she did, then the battle was already lost. Fighting against an enemy was only one view of battle, and her own emotions to have her lose. "I'll stay by your side, Roxas." Kairi would make sure of that within this fight.
Her oceanic eyes kept flickering to the girl, and her eyes widened as she finally placed the familiar face. That girl she had met in Radiant Garden so long ago. "Emil," she breathed like a whispered sigh. Why was she working with Kadaj? Did she not know his cruelty and destructive nature? How could she willingly work with the Remnant, but everyone had reasons. Why was she with the Organization? The Princess bit the inside of her cheek, and glanced to Noctis. She really did hope he would be alright within this battle, because it was soon to begin. A gasp escaped her, her attention suddenly filled with the sight of Kadaj between herself and Roxas. Light bathed her gloved hands, reacting to the familiar threat that Kadaj was, ready to be released at him. Before she could try and do so, the Remnant had summoned a glowing path that appeared beneath her feet. The heat was tangible, and the Princess suddenly cast Reflect, trying to protect herself from the heat. It licked at the leather of her cloak, briefly searing against the sensitive skin of her legs, before the barrier pushed her all the way back.
A cry of pain escaped her lips, and Kairi winced for a moment, but she pushed the pain away. She looked desperately to Roxas, wincing at the linger flame he snuffed out from his sleeve. "Just leave! You've already done enough!" Kairi raised her keyblade, releasing two arcs of light toward Kadaj, watching Roxas to try and sync her own attacks with his. She did not have the ability to duel wield as he did, but she would certainly try to keep up. Distract, distract, distract. Her hood was still on, Dark Reflection grasped firmly within her gloved palm, and she lurched forward. Magic was her strong suit, and she cast Thundaga without uttering the word. The Princess had to be strong to win against Kadaj, and so she watched as the spell twisted and writhed for the Remnant, and she threw herself into a dodge roll. Kairi tumbled to the side of him, her slender frame rising fluidly from the crouched position, bringing her keyblade into an upward arc, light suddenly suffusing the blade from her heart. No matter what darkness now plagued her, she still believed in the light within her heart.

Yazoo has failed to post for 5 days.
The Light has captured Twilight Town!
Since Roxas, Noctis and Kairi have won, they are allowed an upgrade of one ability each or one modification to his power, and will be notified. Requests are to be PMed to Vincent. Congrats!
