Life... No Light, had been a very beautiful thing, especially in nature. No matter where you turn, you could always spot some form of nature, even if it is in a modern city. Many worlds have had some abundant source of life to make that world beautiful... However, life wasn't the only beautiful thing. Death, or rather, darkness, was beautiful to those few that sought it.
In the middle of a mildly open field of grass in the tropical jungle, a large egg-like portal opened up, spewing darkness out onto the plants that were near by. A large person stepped forward from it, dressed in black clothing. He was silently singing a tune he had heard on a world not too long ago, with his eyes closed as he took a few steps out of the portal.
"Oh Death.... Oh Death! Oh death.... Oh death. Won't you spare me over another year?"
He opened his death, continuing to sing the two words 'oh death' over and over a few times as he examined the area. He drew his sword to prepare himself for any attacks. He stopped singing, so that he could remember what he decided to do.
"Lets see here.... Ah! That's what I decided to do! The next world I chose to come to, I would make it into a world for the darkness," he thought to himself, smirking softly, but darkly. This would help him go forward in finding out the key to immortality, as it would bring out the darkness of this world and make it so that he could find this very thing as soon as possible.
Yukimura continued to singing the short song, skipping over a few lines that he couldn't remember, "But was is this that I can't see, with icy cold fingers taking hold on me? Oh Death..... Oh Death! I am death, none can excel! I'll open the gate to... Heaven or Hell!"
Birds flew off and away from the area he was in, as if something was coming to his location. He stopped singing entirely and sat down, placing his sword on his lap. If someone came, to try and defend this world, then Yukimura would be ready for him or her. He moved his hands near each other, with every finger on both hands lightly touching the ends of the same type on the opposite side. He closed his eyes and focused on listening for anything to come near him.

Yukimura slowly opened his eyes, while letting out a bored, sigh. He spoke with boredom, "Enough of this waiting. To conquer a piece of territory, one must strike swiftly when the enemy is away, to get them disoriented and gain the upper hand."
He brought his hands away and grabbed the handle of his sword. He stabbed it into the ground in front him, to help him up. He rose to his feet and brushed his jacket a bit, figuring there were some leaves or grass stuck to the jacket. Yukimura began to walk into the jungle, sword ready to strike anything in his way, whether it was plant or animal.
"Heh heh heh.... Come one, come all! The bliss of death and darkness is coming! Don't deny your fates," Yukimura shouted, as he slashed at branches and animals near by or in his way. Crimson liquid began to puddle on the plant-filled floor. The magic swordsman began to grin widely, with eyes of death gazing at the animals running a muck.
He spotted a silver back gorilla near by that was running off somewhere and began to chase it. He shouted at it with glee, saying "Hey, hey! The fun's just starting! Lets have some fun!"
Yukimura made a lunging stab at its leg, to prevent it from moving around so much. The blade dug into the fur and more liquid began poor out. It roared in pain, but kept moving. Yukimura laughed a little bit more at the fun. This thing wanted to survive, even if it was wound. It was fun to watch something like that to someone like Yukimura.
"Hah hah hah! Lets see how far this thing gets before it collapses from blood loss! It's better to have fun while trying to conquer a world like this! After all, it is the wild," Yukimura stated out loud, as he let the gorilla get some distance ahead of him. The fun was only beginning for Yukimura.

Deep Jungle; a lush area of nature where the modern society did not reach. The animals roamed free without care, and the forest lived without threat. Unfortunately, the world was now in danger of the hand of darkness. To prevent this, the young Keyblade Wielder Ventus flew over in order to defend this peaceful world. In the camp zone located on this world, a portal opened in the air, and Ventus flew in, donning his signature Chaser Armor. Upon landing on the ground, he reverted to his normal, teenage like form. "So the darkness reached even here. I need to find the other person here before it's too late." He wanted to check out this world, as it seemed so fresh, but right now there were other matters to attend to.
Ventus ran quickly through the forest, finding it rather hard to travel in through the seemingly endless brush. Twigs and leaves made their way into his shoes, making it rather uncomfortable for him to walk. With a sigh, he stopped and cleaned out his shoe, before continuing on. As Ventus ran along, he began to take notice of his surroundings. If played correctly, he could use the forest to his advantage. The trees and brush could be use for dodging and hiding when need be. After thinking of ways to use the area around him, he began to wonder who his opponent would be. Not being able to think of anyone in particular, he figured he would find out later.
Ventus made his way over to a nearby clearing, only to see nothing about him. However, it did seem like someone was here rather recently. It could be the person that Ventus was supposed to defend this world from. Unfortunately, there were a ton of different ways whoever was here before could've went. It wasn't until Ventus hearing a sound in the distance that he began running again. It sounded like an animal was in pain. As Ventus ran forward, he stopped and climbed up into the trees. If he got much closer, whatever was around might hear him.
As he jumped from tree to tree, he ended up above a cloaked man that was going after a gorilla. Upon further notice, the gorilla's leg was injured and bleeding. How could anyone be so cruel as to harm an innocent animal. There was no way Ventus would be able to bear watching the animal suffer, so he summoned his Fresh Breeze Keyblade to begin acting. He assumed the person hadn't noticed him yet and jumped from the tree, swinging his Keyblade at the personl

The gorilla turned to the right and began to head towards another clearing. Yukimura continued his pursuit until he heard something in the trees above him. He looked up and saw a kid with a strange weapon coming towards him. Yukimura stopped immediately, to block the attack on him. The blades collided heavily, due to both of their weights being pushed towards one another. Yukimura's grin went away quickly as he began to speak. His tone sounded a little worried.
"Woah, kid! You got to be careful with these things! You never know..." Yukimura paused, to push the kid back. His tone changed again, to a deeper version of his psychotic manner from before.
"You never know what may happen in the middle of this wild jungle!"
He shoved with as much strength it was necessary to send him flying back. Since the boy was in the air, it would be difficult for someone to control their momentum. At this point, Yukimura the advantage. He began to focus magic into his feet, preparing to use [yellow]Thunder Burst[/color]. Yukimura didn't give a damn who this kid was. All he did was present him with a new way to have fun.
"Try to keep up with this, if you can," Yukimura quietly said to the boy. He took a step forward and went flying forward towards a tree. He planned to ram his fist into the kid's back from behind, after taking 2 steps of the 3 he had available. After that, he planned to use the final step to close in the distance between him and the boy, if the boy went flying, that is.
"One..."
He jumped into the tree trunk, both feet landing on it. Yukimura looked at the boy's back, to see if he was staying in place. At the moment, it seemed like he was.
"Two...!"
Yukimura pushed off the trunk and sent himself flying towards the boy. It would be difficult for him to avoid it, but he would probably be able to avoid it, if he was nimble. In that case, Yukimura would just keep with using the third step to decrease the distance between them like he planned before. All that depended was if this boy moved or not.
(Your move, Ventus.)

This person was not like any other. He had quick reactions, and power to match. Their blades clashed, with Ventus pushing down with all his might. However, it would not be enough. The man pushed him up into the air and began moving. To protect himself for now, he summoned his armor and kept his eyes on the new man. Up in the air, Ventus took note of the land around him for a moment. They were in a more dense area of the jungle, so fighting on ground would be more difficult. Though with his agility and skills, he should have the advantage. The man tried to get behind Ventus and attack from behind, using amazing speed to do so, however, Ventus had speed of his own.
Ventus grabbed onto a large tree branch as he flew up. 'I'm not afraid of what I might find. I just have to overcome the challenge set before me." Ventus had no time to rest due to the person coming right at him. The only problem with that was Ventus had a few tricks up his sleeve. "Speed Rave." With amazing speed, he dashed to another tree, avoiding the man's attack. Still using his Speed Rave, He dashed towards the ground, spinning around to face the man. "Don't underestimate me mister."
As Ventus headed down to the ground, he pointed his Keyblade at the person. Chaos Snake In an instant, a multitude of zigzagging magic blast shot up towards the person. If they were to hit, the man would be confused for a bit, allowing Ventus to take the advantage over him. I can't let this battle drag out. He's as fast as I am with Speed Rave active. If this fight is going to drag on, I might actually be in some serious trouble. Landing on the ground, Ventus began zigzagging amongst the trees, keeping his eyes locked on the man.

Yukimura missed with his strike. He ended up flying by the kid, who had donned some strange armor in a split second. This would make wounding him much harder to accomplish.
"My, my... So you do have some speed. I'll have to make sure I break your legs, then," Yukimura shouted, keeping his crazed look. He placed his feet onto another tree's trunk. He heard the boy say to not underestimate him and, in the next moment, dazzling beams of light started to fly towards him like snakes.
Not wanting to be hit, Yukimura decided to use his last step in the Thunder Burst to move out of the way. He moved upwards, towards higher branches. Upon using the last step, he felt the magic he charged fade away from his feet. He grabbed onto a branch with his free hand and swung around the branch to jump to another, lower one. He landed on the branch in a crouching style.
Yukimura looked across to the now armored kid and stated, "Underestimating a person forces the opponent to show their best, especially early in the battle. Now, based on how you're reacting in this battle, I'd have to say that you're going to pull out your best quickly... A fighter doesn't reveal his full ability until examining his opponent and his or her fighting style. By showing me this, you have revealed that you are impatient and that you are not focused on this battle!"
Yukimura began to focus magic into his sword, preparing to use his ability, Blessed Flames of Darkness. This spell would require much time, evading all attacks that came at him. At the moment, the sword looked normal. However, in a few moments, his sword would begin to radiate with magic. If the boy came in for a close range attack when he finished charging, this battle would be over. However, there was a chance that he could lose focus.

Ventus' eyes moved with the man as he avoided his attack. This battle was going to be difficult if this person continued to match Ventus' temporary boost. Landing on the ground, he quickly burst his way up, still using his speed boost to try and gain the advantage. It was then that Ventus noticed that the person stopped dashing around and instead just dropped from one branch to another. Is he toying with me or something? Why isn't he coming at me? Maybe his speed effects were temporary like mine. If that's true, then I should move quickly before he starts speeding up again. But if that's what he wants... Ventus contemplated on what to do for a brief moment, only to decide and try to end the battle as quickly as possible.
As Ventus sped upward at amazing speed, he moved amongst the trees in order confuse the person as he spoke.Ventus was told that he was showing everything he had too early, so he wasn't taking this battle seriously. Little did this person know that he had alot more skills than he was showing. With a smirk, he made his way up to behind the man, landing on a tree branch. From there, he dashed forward and slashed at the person with his keyblade. He didn't want to waste all his skills at the moment, seeing as he took a while to recover from using them. However, with his speed boost still active, he should have the advantage for a little bit longer.
Ventus' mind started to wander a bit. He began to think of Aqua and Terra, and if he would see them after all this mess. It was then that the battle brought his thoughts to Master Xehanort. If he couldn't beat this mysterious person, how could he hope to defeat his old master. That thought would be the motivation Ventus would use to defeat this man of darkness and save the jungle from evil's grasp. Ventus then focused back on the battle, as he waited to see what would happen.

Yukimura sighed, taking into account that this boy was going to continue this fight. The swordsman changed his mind on using his newest attack. Using it on the boy here, in a one versus one match, would make things too difficult for him, if the spell missed.
"Using those flames would just make me as much of a target as this kid is making himself be. I'll just use the other one instead, when I break some bones to restrict some of his movements," Yukimura thought, as he came to that realization. He watched the boy dash across the ground quickly, moving well above a normal person's level of speed. The boy was using the terrain to try and confuse the Yukimura. Being of old age, though not looking it, did come in use when wisdom was required.
Yukimura began to lose track of where this boy was. Experience told him that, if a person were to strike, they would attack where they were most vulnerable. In this case, that would be Yukimura's backside. That would be tough to accomplish, for any fighter with some experience in battle would know to use the senses they have available to them. Hearing, taste, touch, smell, and vision are used to create strategies in all scenarios of life. Battle made use of all the senses, though only 4 of the 5 common senses were used most often.
Because of the boy being in armor, the pieces of metal would create sound with every single bit of movement made. Finding out his location would very easy for Yukimura, even if his eyes lost track. The sound of branches and metal resonated from his back side, like Yukimura predicted. He whirled around, to block another dangerous blow. The blades collided again, but due to the fact that there wasn't much footing on the branch Yukimura was on, he was pushed off into the ground. He bounced once before going into a small, but painful roll. He stopped after rolling 5 or 6 times on the ground. While he was rolling, he lost grip of his sword and it was flung out of his hand.
"Damn... Looks like I misjudged the kid... I'll have to train after I win this battle, to improve myself," Yukimura thought in his mind. He brought himself to his feet and looked for Dragon"s Fang. It was located several yards from where he stopped rolling. Yukimura ignored it for now and looked up at the boy, to see what he was up to. It appeared that he was observing what he would do next.
Yukimura's grin went away as he began to speak once more. He sounded a little angry, though the anger was directed at himself.
"Well, isn't this a wonderful sight to behold?! I wonder what's going to happen next!"
Immediately after saying the statement, Yukimura brought both of his hands in front of his chest and began to charge magic in between. The air began to condense in between in his hand slowly as the magic mixed with the moisture it had. Since this was a humid place, there was much moisture in the air already. All he had to do was just condense it into hail and then this battle would be done with.

It was a semi-success. Ventus had gained the upperhand against the man using his speed. Even though his slash was blocked, he had caught the man off guard enough to knock him out of the tree and to the ground. With Ventus on the tree branch his opponent was just on, He watched as the sword that blocked his was knocked away. Alright, man down below, and his sword is away. I don't have time to relax just yet. Should I go with another close range attack, try my luck with another Shoot Lock? Have to be careful though; I don't want to end up damaging the forest too. Ventus quickly thought of a couple of ideas on how to proceed, as he watched the man below.
The mysterious person just stood there talking, as if he was thinking out loud. Is the battlefield the best place to be talking to yourself? Ventus was confused until the person clapped his hands together. The density of the air around him began to feel heavier than usual. That meant that the man was preparing for another move. Gotta move quickly while Speed Rave is still in effect. I'll have to figure out what to do on the spot. Ventus began zigzagging his way down through the trees, so the man would not be able to keep his eyes on him. Instead of attacking directly like last time, Ventus was going to try and pull off a risky strategy.
Zigzagging his way down so the man couldnt keep track of him, Ventus quickly decided which move he would use. He stopped in a crouched position right in front of the man, his keyblade pointed right at him. "Flame Blast!"In that instant, a multitude of fireballs shot from the keyblade at the man, also knocking Ventus back a bit. To escape any possible counters, Ventus quickly dashed back up the trees using his Speed Boost, watching down below what would happen to the man now. It was then that Ventus's body began to feel a bit heavier, signifying that the Speed Rave effects had finally come to an end. With his speedy advantage down for a while, Ventus would have to fight more strategically in order to prevail.

The young boy came out of the tree at incredible speed again, zig zagging to prevent Yukimura from keeping his eyes on him. However, Yukimura actually wasn't focusing with the boy's location... entirely. He was listening to the beat of the foots steps the boy made in his armor, trying to predict which was he was to strike and how Yukimura would dodge. Of course, he had his eyes open, peering outward to see where the person would strike.
"Such incredible speed for such a long period of time... This boy is indeed intriguing. He wasn't even stunned by the crash of thunder before, though it is only supposed to freak any people near by out of their focus on battling. This may prove to increase my own speed, if I defeat this child," Yukimura thought, as he tried to keep track of the boy.
The boy came straight in front of him and held the weapon towards Yukimura as he charged some sort of attack. Balls of flame erupted and sped towards Yukimura. They weren't incredibly fast, but still mustered a good amount speed. Yukimura dashed to the side to avoid the blast so that he could maintain his focus on the spell he was making. The fireballs flew into several trees, exploding upon impact. He kept his gaze face forward, searching for a spot to hide in until his own spell could be used.
The magic swordsman found himself entering the area that little gorilla entered moments before. He looked into the forest to see if the boy was coming after him. He spoke to himself out loud in a whisper, "That boy sure does know some deadly spells, doesn't he? Well, have I got something to show him.... Heh heh heh."
The moisture in the air began to condense more, showing the water that was in the air. It became colder and colder over time, becoming more solidified. It wasn't at the point of use yet, but it was approaching it.
"Just a little more time and I'll be able to tear this kid up with this spell."

This battle was getting nowhere fast. He had not landed a single hit on the person, and he was going more harm than good. The trees were now ablaze, and the condensing water grew. With his speed bonus needing to be recharged, He would have to rely on a more strategic move. He had one in mind, but it would require a bit of precision to make it work. Before he made his way after the man, Ventus jumped down to the ground, slashing up dirt at the fires to put them out. 'How could I make such a stupid error. Don't even want to know what Eraqus would say about it." After putting out the fire, he jumped back up into the tree.
As Ventus made his way over to the person once more, he wondered what ability he should use. I've already wasted Flame Blast and Chaos Snake, and most of my other moves are useless. I can't get him by surprise using Speed Rave since it will take a while to charge up. Physical Attacks don't work seeing as he can easily dodge them......Bust what if he couldn't. I have that skill which would make it harder for him to do so. Alright, Plan B is a go. Ventus stopped in the tree tops above the man, preparing for his next strike. With a grin, he jumped out of the trees, speeding down and pointing his keyblade at the man.
As he was coming down, Ventus prayed this would work. If it didn't he would be in some real trouble soon. "Zero Gravity!" A black dome then appeared over the man. If he was caught in it, he would begin to float in the air, the gravitational distortion damaging him. Then his keyblade began to spark. "Command Style: Fire Blazer!" Assuming the Zero Gravity worked, Ventus would use its effects to his advantage. He continued to speed downward at the man, a determined glare hiding behind his helmet. He then swung at the man with incredible force. If the swing hit, the strike would cause a huge explosion.

Yukimura observed the destruction that the kid had done to the forest, smiling happily at its destruction. However, the boy seemed to have been upset at the destruction of the trees he caused, as he began slashing up dirt in the forest. The swordsman sighed.
"Hmph... The brat shouldn't be so preoccupied with the fires. I'll have to teach him the error in this choice," Yukimura thought in his mind. The spell had almost reached its peak, so the swordsman would wait, to unleash the spell when the boy was open for attacks.
The armored boy came charging at him, shouting out a spell of some kind. Not wanting to be hit, Yukimura moved to the side quickly, not knowing where and how the spell was going to strike. The swordsman heard something odd behind him. He looked behind himself, to notice a black dome of some kind compress and vanish in a matter of seconds. Dirt began to rise up from the ground by the means of some odd force.
Yukimura brought his attention to the boy again, who was about to slice him with the odd weapon he had. This was the moment that the swordsman was looking for! He stopped and ducked under the slash. As soon as the blade went past him, Yukimura rose back up. The spell had finally been ready! The kid wouldn't be able to avoid this attack at point blank, even if he was quite fast.
"It's over now, kid! Hail Blast!"
The super condensed ice in between his hands shattered and exploded outward with great speed. There was a good chance that this attack would hit the boy. However, if the boy knew a way to avoid the attack quickly, then Yukimura would be in danger. Due to the spell's large amount of magic needed to cast, Yukimura would be weakened quite a bit.

Times up; thats the thought that ran through Ventus' head as Zero Gravity missed. He knew that something was coming now, though he didn't know what. He was too close to defend, and he couldn't speed away. The man held a condensed ball of ice in his hands, signaling that he was about to attack. Without thinking, Ventus swung his keyblade as the ice shards flew at him. What happened next could have serious consequences. The result of him swinging his keyblade with Fire Blazer active at the ice shards caused a massive explosion, sending Ventus flying into a tree. With his helmet knocked off and his armor damaged from the blast, Ventus was now weak and low on options.
His ocean blue eyes looked at the man in a serious stare. He lied against the tree weakened from the blast, but he could tell that the man was weak too. This gave Ventus his chance to finally do some damage to the man. With all his strength, Ventus got to his feet still clutching his keyblade. Ventus ran at him for his assault, hoping his plan would finally end this. His previous attempts were wasted seeing as he had no information on his opponent, and he had not considered if the attacks missed. This time though, Ventus had a trick up his sleeve. "This is over." He began charging energy into his keyblade as he reached the man, the serious stare still there.
As Ventus got to the man, he made it look like he would attack from the front. However, Ventus made his strike at the man's side, hoping that he wouldve expected the front attack. If it had hit, the man would take some decent fire damage. It was then that Ventus's charge was complete. "...Thunder Storm..." It was then that a series of lightning bolts came down at the man. "Gotcha." If this attack worked, it should end it seeing as the person was already weak to begin with. After this, Ventus jumped back, landing at a tree where he sat down breathing heavily. When he looked down at his armor he noticed something. Due to the pain he was in from the explosion earlier, he had not taken notice of an ice shard that had pierced his armor. Some blood was coming out, but since the shard was lodged in him still, it slowed the amount of blood pouring out. Ventus looked at the man, breathing heavily and still clutching his keyblade just in case.
