Swirling black and purple energy ripped open near the ocean floor, and out from it stepped, or rather swam, one of the Four Fiends. The sight of Kraken’s towering body immediately sent the local mermaids running for cover. The fiend was already pleased at the reaction he was receiving as he stepped from the mysterious corridor that had opened in the seas of his own world. He had been brought back for some reason, and he would definitely not waste the talents of the mighty Fiend of the Water again. His power would now reign absolute in this land.
Upon further investigation, it seemed the seas led to a beach with a castle easily visible from the water’s edge. Kraken decided that the best opportunity for him to lay waste to the seas had already come, and he began the storms necessary to damn the seas and turn the entire world into a water wasteland. Horrid black clouds rolled in off the horizon and the winds carried the foul odor of a terrifying storm. Unlike most who ventured the seas, Kraken loved the smell of a devastating storm. It simply calmed his mind and assured him that nothing was going to be okay. In fact, everything was going to be horrible for those who dwell with the Light. Within the coming years, the castle on the horizon would probably be completely submerged and fall deep into the sea, just as the shrine had on his own world. Soon, the entire world would become his sunken playground.
Kraken silently wondered what fate had befallen the rest of the Fiends. Chaos had sent them two thousand years into the future to take control of the world there and ensure their eternal life. All would have gone as planned, if it weren’t for those damned Warriors of Light. Those crystal-carrying freaks sought to Kraken’s demise not just once but on two separate occasions. That was unforgiveable, and the master of the seas would see that his dominance began unhindered in the aquatic world that rested deep in the seas of Atlantica.
”Oh, ho, ho, ho, here is where the legacy of Kraken, Fiend of the Water begins!”[/b]

It seemed like such a nice world, too. Where was the flooding darkness he saw from space coming from in this world?
After the Onion Knight's unsuccessful attempt at trying to create a back entrance to the darkened Disney Castle, so the Light could evade from within, now it was underway and his help was needed elsewhere. And while he wished his friends good luck and hoped the Keyblade Master would be successful in restoring the Light for the ones who rightfully lived there, the darkness had began to attack the other worlds, and the one they called Sora could not be everywhere. Now he had defeated Chaos and restored balance to the cycle that once gripped him, his own world had come under attack from darkness more than once, bringing back villains whom otherwise had already been defeated by the Warriors of Light from the Surface World that was his true home. Knowing other worlds were out there and getting a bad feeling that the cycle of darkness tipping the balance was about to begin anew, he had gone out into the worlds until Cosmos contacted him that the next cycle had begun, but until then he had been out to solve the mystery behind the forces of darkness that lay beyond outside the realms of what he already knew.
He had brought his Gummi ship to this world, and landing upon it's surface found a large ocean world with only a few specs of land. It was just like the way he had first found the Surface World... it even had the dark, churning storms and violent seas, but it would have to if some surge of darkness was present. The one that had been behind the Surface World flooding, after he and his friends came down from the Floating Continent he had lived on for most of his life, was the Kraken that had been sent by Xande to obtain the Water Crystal. Just the thought of that fiend... his grip tightened in anger at the loss of life he had caused. If it wasn't for him, then she...
"Who are you?" came the voice of a young woman, changing his focus of one girl to the next. The blond boy looked up from under his armored visor and saw a girl with orange-reddish hair tilt her head slightly to look at his face. "I'm the Onion Knight, but you can call me Luneth. Who are you?" he asked back, unsure what this young lady wanted from him in such graceful attire that she must have been from the castle that he had seen up the beach. She had kind emerald eyes though, and smiled back at him as if she could see something in him. "I'm Ariel! You remind me of a boy about as tall as you... But, you're not the one causing all this bad weather to come in... then what is?" she wondered in a worried tone, and stood next to the shorter male as she turned to look out over the ocean. "I can feel the chill of something... awful. I should go check if Daddy and the others are okay!" Before the Keeper of the Light of Courage could say anything else, the female had gone running into the salty surf, not even bothering to lift up the hem of her dress before she dived right into a oncoming wave and out of sight. "Wait! It's not safe out there...!" the straw-haired male yelled out behind her in warning, but his eyes widened in surprise as he thought he saw her back and a large, scaly emerald tail kick out of the surf as she dove underwater.
Was he seeing things?
Not waiting to find out, the knight heroically started chasing after the mermaid he had just seen, wading into the cold ocean depths. Brrr, it was cold, but Luneth told himself to just submerge himself and just keep his body moving and he would warm up in no time. It was just a bit of water, after all! At least that's what his thinking was... until before his very eyes over the next wave, a violent maelstrom opened up in front of him! He began swimming away, but he was caught in the current of the rip which started to pull him down the unnaturally made funnel. Waving his arm above his head in case Ariel or anyone on land could see him, it wasn't long before his armor and the tide pulled him underwater in the twisting submerging spiral, and plummeting head first Luneth closed his eyes and sank to the depths of the ocean as he thought it was all over.
Or, was it? Even though he could feel the slight sharp sting of sea salt wash through between his nose and mouth, after that it was gone and replaced with something that tasted like he was breathing in sea salt ice cream... was it a dream? Had he drowned and died, coming into the afterlife? Was it his magic, or someone else's cast on him? He opened his own emerald eyes, looking about him as his his feet touched the ocean floor, but instead of a stain-glass floor and birds flying away like a keyblader might typically see in a dream he saw... nothing but the common ocean floor. And then after looking around as the maelstrom dissipated above him... a huge, many-tentacled fiend looming ahead in the distance.
His eyes widened slightly in realization as a dark aura disappeared from around the octopus humanoid coming out of his entrance into the world, and then just as quickly narrowed in disdain, fists tightening and shaking in uncontrollable rage. It was him! ...Well, not exactly, it didn't look like the same Kraken, but it was one of darkness none the less! Just the very sight of his massive crushing tentacles and the look in those inhuman eyes invited the very thought of causing chaos to this world. If it wasn't for monsters like him... he saw the memory flash before his eyes of the Water Priestess Aria, someone who was soft and gentle, yet strong and brave as Kraken made an attack against him and she threw her body to protect him... then the people he loved and cared for would not have suffered and lost their lives. "KRAKEN!!!" he roared underwater as he flew into a rage, a flash of light appearing in his hands as he summoned his faithful Onion Sword, leaping as far up through the water his weighted and soaked body could as he thrust the tip of the blade skywards and cast Thunder sending three thunder orbs streaking through the currents towards the mighty sea creature.
He had avenged Aria's death and defeated the Kraken before. But this had now become personal... this Kraken had to be stopped before the world was destroyed!

The ground of the ocean floor decayed in a rapid manner. A rotten stench came in the water as the ground started to give a shiver. Slowly from the bottom started to rise an enormous skull, fully equipped with a horned helmet and wavering hairs from the tip on top of the helmet in the water. Within the sockets of the eyes were two bright lights glowing in a pitch-black darkness. Following the skull came a robed torso, the robes tattered and revealing underneath bones, his ribs were mostly exposed and both arms were brought up with pieces of tattered robe on them. Around the neck was a necklace of human-sized skulls and bones. Around the entire body swirled what seemed to be some kind of white substance.
Underneath the robes, hidden from all eyes was a skeletal fishtail as even the Lich had been somewhat changed in this world. He was no aquatic fiend like the Kraken and thus had to do with what he was given. Underneath the water his fire-based spells seemed worthless, but the Lich didn't care as he watched a boy use a lightning-based spell against his fellow fiend. Instead of bothering himself with stopping the attack and expecting the Kraken to handle it himself. He pointed a bony finger towards the boy, planning to take him out immediately. He then cast a Sleep spell to attempt bringing the Onion Knight to sleep.
The Lich tried to see where other warriors might be and looked for Calofisteri to handle herself as well. He had come there alongside her after all. Sparks of electricity came around the Lich as he sent another Thundara spell at the Knight as well, in case the sleep spell would work. The lightning strikes would appear above the knight and shower down onto him.
Duration One post (if hit).

It was strange to find a gathering of flower petals within the water, but that is exactly what anything within the area saw. The floating petals swirled in their spot as a ball of white and black energy appeared and then, with a pop, became Snow. Snow was dressed in black and white clothing that fit like a second skin on her upper body. Her long hair flowed freely in the water and her lower half had become a fish tail of white scales and black fins. The transformation was odd, but not something that bothered Snow since she had visited the water world of Atlantica before.
Back then the visit had been fun and learning to swim had been a challenge. Also in the past the world had been peaceful...now it was not. With heavy currents signaling a storm above and strange underwater twisters appearing here and there, Snow knew that this world was in trouble. Sensing that Darkness was the cause of this peaceful world's pain, Snow had come to aid the Light she sensed trying to defend the world.
While it was not her style to pick sides, she was one to protect the balance of worlds and this land had definitely been balanced before hand. She would not let Darkness have it. With her mind focused, she moved through the rough waters until she finally spotted a battle. She saw a large creature of tentacles that held the glow of Darkness being attacked by a man of Light. She was on the edge of helping this man with the creature when she saw a second appear from the bottom of the sea floor. This one brought death with it.
The creature she saw was Lich, the undead cursed one that said it was controlled by someone of Darkness. Controlled or not, what it did next was all the reason Snow needed to attack. The creature was casting spells at the Light warrior and that was the trigger for Snow.
Two against one when she was there? She thought not. Summoning her keyblade, she moved to a postion where she was level with the Lich and then without warning, she charged forward and aimed her keyblade at the creatures unguarded back. She wasn't sure how fast the creature was, but by attacking the Light the creature had become her target. With a heavy swing she aimed a horizontal slash at the creature's back.

Calofisteri had kept herself to the Void when she came to Atlantica. Instead of appearing with the Lich, she remained dormant to view which opponents they would be having. A boy had attacked one of the Lich's 'friends' and Lich seemed to help his fellow Fiend. The Demon of the Rift knew nothing of the Four Fiends, but she had now met two of them, a large floating skeleton and a large octopus. She wondered what bizarre beings more she'd find. The Demons of the Rift were perhaps just as bizarre, but in a larger group.
As she looked over the boy and the Kraken, they didn't seem to have changed. She could not see what was underneath the Lich's ragged robes, so she wasn't certain about him, but the last to appear was, however, transformed with the world. She didn't bother herself with the two Fiends and the young Knight for now, instead focussing on the newcomer and taking a look for any others. She appeared right in front of Snow, right behind the Lich, knowing he would not bother with them.
Calofisteri used her orb as a shield to block the woman's Keyblade. "I'm not allowing anyone to harm my pet," she told the Keyblader with a smile, the description seemed to belong to the woman that was before her. With that the plan was set in motion, the Demon presumed. She and the Lich had planned to act like the Lich would be in control of the Demon, so it seemed like the Fiend was cursed. This would allow the Lich to try and have the woman cooperate. She still did not know what the Lich wanted with someone like Snow.
The Demon floated in the water next to the orb, her lower body had changed in the aquatic world as well, but having many lines like the spines of lionfish. The lower body is colored in circles of blue and greenish blue. The orb started to glow up green and surrounded Calofisteri with a green shield using Protect. "Will you play with me?" She asked Snow while giggling.

Eyes closed, Will rubbed his face against a spongy surface. As he became aware of the gritty sensation, even barely conscious, he knew where he was. On a beach. Well, that wasn't exact, but it was a start.
His eyes flashed open, gazing at the parallel shore. Parallel? He was on the ground... had he hit his head? Reeling at how simple facts were so shocking to his dazed psyche, he pushed himself to his feet.
Shaking water and mats of sand from his face, he took in his surroundings. A dingy lay a few meters to his left, its keel splintered and taking on water even from the small splashes of the beach. Well, that might answer how he got there.
As he took a step toward the boat, he felt a drum against his waist. Looking down with an almost drunken confusion, he saw the source of the sensation: his cutlass. And a pistol. At least he was armed.
Wind cut across his face. With a natural pirate's instinct, he turned to the direction it beckoned. Against the gloomy backdrop of swirling storms, he saw a small group of people... two or three. Perhaps he could ask them for some information about... well everything.
Will began a trot over to the group when he noticed something peculiar. One of them decided that the gathering storms and crushing waves made this beach an excellent place to go swimming.
"Lovely... I'm about to ask for information from drunks." Such a scenario was not as rare to Will as he would have liked to believe. He saw another form dive into the water. "...If they have not seen fit to drown themselves in their stupor."
As he continued to their location, he increased his gait. They were not coming up. By the time he got to the young blond haired man, he was in a full sprint, cutting through the shallow water without even a word of inquiry. When he was far enough to float, he dove into the black depths.
He expected to find two nearly lifeless bodies floating in the abyss. What he saw was infinitely worse. Some manner of monolith... the kind of twisted creature every sailor fears to find beneath his feet. The tentacles that frayed from its face seemed to point to each swirling stormcloud.... he was indubitably the epicenter of this storm. Given his appearence... he was likely the source as well.
Though air in his lungs seemed to contract, Will kept his mouth shut. He was an excellent diver, if anything. He would certainly not find himself face to face with one of the beings throwing the worlds into darkness only to drown in shock. No, drowning would have to wait until the creature noticed Will and dragged him to the depths to meet his father.
Even with that speck of pessimism in his mind, Will shot his body forward. No navy could match this beast... why was he going toward it? He needed a plan, to analyze the situation, find the creature's weak spot, and attack it on his terms. To attack an aquatic creature in an aquatic environment was suicide.
But that brought him to the problem, and perhaps the motivation his body was aware of but his mind had only just realized. This was an aquatic creature. He could conjure storms, he had no need to fight him on land. Soon, the world would be a giant twisted sea storm. Will needed to fight while there was still something to protect.
And so what if he was just one man? Wasn't Sora just one boy? He had his pistol and cutlass. He had to believe this creature could bleed. That it could be killed. He stopped dead in the water. He was prepared.
He drew his pistol.
He took careful aim at the center of the creature.
He pulled the trigger.
He realized he was underwater.
He decided he had hit his head harder than he thought.

All was well in Kraken’s world. The torrential storms had already begun and he knew his dominion would soon encompass the castle overlooking the Fiend of the Seas. Mayhem and malice would soon be commonplace in Kraken’s new world, and he was completely content with that idea. As the aquatic beast began to re-submerge himself he almost cast a jovial laugh when he saw whirlpools already forming to take out any ship that would deem itself brave enough and foolish enough to sail on these waters. The Kraken quickly soared near the aquatic cyclone just to further enjoy the evil behind the storm. That was when he noticed a little man that had, unfortunately for him, found his way into Kraken’s kingdom.
The man who looked like a pint size Warrior of Light quickly fell leagues into the water before finally noticing the Kraken’s presence. It was always those looks of anguish and fear that really made Kraken feel like all was right with the world, but, unfortunately, this was a look of rage on the tiny man’s face. He looked as if he had seen Kraken kill his best friend or something, which was very probable, because Kraken had killed a lot of people on his home world. However, how would somebody of his own world make it to a place as unfamiliar as this?
He didn’t have much time to ponder the question over as the tiny man sent three electrical orbs soaring through the water towards Kraken. The sunken Fiend quickly attempted to soar over the attack and towards Luneth, but he either wasn’t quite fast enough or didn’t have enough time as one of the three blasts managed to hit the midsection of one of his tentacles. Searing pain erupted on the Lich’s face as he kept his stride and quickly made haste for the tiny man.
A lot now happened in a short time. First, Kraken’s fellow Fiend, Lich, made his way into the seas and attacked the little man with a electrical spell. Second, a small woman made her ways into the sea and attempted a slash at Lich’s back. Kraken was too far away, or he would have ended that train of thought and began another. Kraken could attack the woman with a projectile much like his Blizzaga attack. A giant crystal of ice now formed over the woman with the strange key-like weapon and immediately launched itself toward her, if all went well, and it should then that should put an end to the small woman and leave the tiny man for both Lich and Kraken.
Finally, another man, of much taller statue than tiny man found his way into the water and pointed some sort of weapon with a barrel towards the Kraken as he kept stride for tiny man. He pulled a trigger for the weapon, but, apparently, weapons of that nature either don’t work very often or work under water. Unlucky for him, he happened to be in close proximity to tiny man, and Kraken had already decided how he wished to deal with them both. Three of Kraken’s tentacles immediately soared towards tiny man and three more towards stupid man and immediately began to wrap around the two. Such was the plan for his Constrict attack. Kraken’s thought here was too crush them and enjoy the last looks of terror to shine on their face. It was like hearing a bedtime story if he were a small child, only this story was far more gruesome and more befitting of the Fiend of the Water. Kraken began to tighten his grip on the men and watch as the pain to come would brighten the Fiend’s day ten-fold.
”Oh, ho, ho, your human intelligence is obviously lacking if you thought challenging the Kraken would be a wise choice.”

As the thunderballs soared through the water of the churning ocean from the raging storm above, peeling lightning illuminating the battle that was rapidly increasing below, Luneth watched as his attack struck one of the monster's tentacles successfully. A lot of things happened all at once between the moment he cast his version of the Thunder spell and when it struck the Kraken - groups of warriors from each side came to either help or hinder him - two that rallied to his side and two other fiends assisting the Kraken in it's destruction. The first fiend that appeared like the drowned dead walking at the bottom of the murky ocean was a grand-looking skeleton, which reminded the Onion Knight very much of his battle with the undead Hein, a fiend sent by Xande to uproot the Elder Tree and terrorize the nearby town of Tokkul. The fiend pointed a finger of death at him, casting some sort of status effect spell, but of course it didn't work because of his Super Ribbon item. Ha, not that the Warrior of Light would tell the fiend, even if he could move and talk freely about in the water thanks to some strange magic granted to him.
Maybe it was this world... or the mermaid he had foolishly dived in to help?
Another warrior appeared behind the reanimated corpse in the execution of a slash, and the Onion Knight saw... a keyblade! Much like the weapon that the keyblade master Sora had that he heard so much about protecting all the worlds. She appeared to be in a mermaid form as well... it wasn't the same red-headed mermaid he had chased into the surf, but did only women turn into merpeople in this world? This only was further confirmed as a greenish-blue skinned woman appeared, and from that and the way she blocked the incoming keyblade attack meant for the bony mage, it could only mean that she was some kind of fiend as well. He didn't have enough time to watch the fight as a torrent of bubbles came from above as a much more taller, handsome man dived into the water near him, pulling the trigger on some kind of gun weapon similar to Squall's, but without a blade. Despite his bravery to follow and perhaps attempt to aid him, he couldn't see or hear if the weapon had been fired towards where he had aimed, but he knew he had to reward his courage and aid him in return if they were going to survive this fight.
And then amongst the crashing thunder above, lighting streaked not only in the surface of the water above that he ignored, but because of that did not see the random bolts of lightning coming down towards him through the water.
Along with the Thunder spell he himself had cast, he was not aware that the static he heard buzzing in the water was something for him to look out for until the Thundara cast down shocks of vertical projectiles around him, getting struck by one and slowing his progressive run across the ocean floor. Tentacles were now coming towards him and the man, and with electricity dangerously cracking around him, he had to do something fast. But the opportunity had already presented itself when time had caught up with him, past noticing all the newcomers and their actions, when the Thunder spell had hit the Kraken. "Hey, let's team up!" he called as he held up his golden Onion Sword and gathered the thunder bolts into it like a lightning rod, recycling the energy into a Thundaga spell he could now use to chain from Thunder, striking thick bluish-white bolts repeatedly down towards the Kraken's abdomen before he was launched forward to chase him. As he did so, he grabbed the other man in neat clothing by the arm and dragged him along with him, in hopes of dodging the massive tentacles that sought them out.
After dodging two of his own tentacles that were aimed solely for the 'little man', he let go of the other man and allowed him to use the momentum from his blitz to attack the monster as he saw fit, now that he was closer with any melee weapon and if he evaded his own tentacles. The 'tiny man' did not however, as the third tentacle snared him and allowed the other two to catch up, constricting him for damage and forcing the air out of his lungs. Good thing Luneth no longer needed the air above the waves in order to breathe, but that wasn't going to help him here, but of course his brilliant mind had prepared himself for such a event. As the tentacles wrapped around him in one direction, he built his remaining momentum from the chase, until in a flash of light he burst out of the tentacles in a vertical spinning slash motion that was the finisher in his chase sequence. "Ha! Human intelligence we've got in spades, especially if you're facing me, the Onion Knight who's defeated a Kraken like you before! That would make you the lunkhead!" he taunted back at the Kraken's words, the fiend reminding him that he had to analyze the situation carefully as well as have the heart, and spotting an opening now the tentacles were off him plunged forward to strike the Kraken with a name-fitting Blade Torrent.

The Lich heard the two behind his back, but ignored them for the most part for the moment as he watched what his attacks did. The Sleep spell seemed to have failed, but saw that his Thundara had some effect. Seeing the Kraken attack and take ahold of the two men, one of them having appeared rather foolishly it seemed. The Lich thought the Kraken would handle it for the moment as he would attempt taking out Snow, perhaps freezing her for the moment seemed best.
The undead Fiend started to turn around as the water around him started to get colder and parts freeze and crack again with the turning. Around his arms he started to create ice before sending ice shards at Snow from his arms with a Blizzara attack. The ice would attempt encasing Snow in ice, freezing her solid while damaging her.

Clang would've been the sound of Snow's keyblade as it hit the orb that blocked her attack. As a lady appeared before her wielding an orb and casting some sort of spell upon herself, Snow backed up a bit. She heard the lady's words and narrowed her eyes slightly. She had heard the undead thing was cursed and here was the source of it all....challenging her to fight. Not one to back down from a fight, Snow took the challenge and prepared to fight the lady.
As she did this, another Light presence made itself known. Not really having time to worry about the presence, Snow focused on the woman and was about to attack, when she noticed the a change in temperature around her. Looking up, she saw the giant chunk of ice about to slam into her. With quick movements, she managed to get away from the stronger ice attack, only to get her left arm trapped in weaker of version of the attack. With a hiss of pain, Snow felt the coldness and crushing pain of the attack as it damaged her arm upon shattering. With her left arm numb and for a moment useless, she did her best to focus on the trio at hand. While Snow knew the woman had a spell on upon her, she didn't know what it was. Deciding not to test her luck with either of the pair, she moved into a defensive position placing the keyblade in front of her like a shield with her right hand.
She nodded at the pair, challenging them to make a move. She decided that the two men could handle the larger creature alone.

Calofisteri didn't pay much attention to the others, leaving them for the Kraken to deal with while concentrating on her own prey. Her ally, the Lich, however made the first attack after she had challenged the woman. An ice attack, she noted, but didn't do much as she watched the results.
The woman had taken the attack, but didn't reply to any of what she had said or attack. Instead going more defensive. Her orb started to spin around her aquatic body as she floated in the water. Calofisteri enjoyed the sight of an opponent that would be easily crushed, especially by two demonic beings. Although, she guessed that the Lich wanted to have her... intact. For his own plans.
Well, she'll have to earn that, the Demon of the Rift thought as her orb started to glow up a bit orange. Then suddenly the orb stopped before her as she placed her hand on it. From it a second globe was released, aimed straight at the Keyblader. She used a Stop spell to have her frozen in time for a moment. She turned a bit to the Lich, "now, electrocute her!" She laughed.

Letting the pistol slip from his left hand, Will drew his cutlass with his right. There would be time to reflect on his stupidity later. If he won, in any case. Without his pistol, the creature's size and tentacles certainly ensured its dominance in terms of range and power.
He needed to draw it out for a big attack... but how?
"Hey, let's team up!"
Will turned his head to the source of the voice. Someone was down here with him... a young knight in strange garb who could apparently talk underwater. Perhaps he had some other tricks as well. With blank eyes and a confused look, Will nodded his head toward the young man.
As if in reaction to their team up, six of the beasts tentacles swerved toward them, three for the each of them. At the same time, the young knight seemed to summon a storm of lightning around himself, launching bolts out toward the lurching beast.
Unworldly power... how could Will compete with beasts and magic?
Before he could be given more time to contemplate the issue, Will felt a jerk on his arm, and suddenly the whip of water past his face. He'd been grabbed! The beast... that... Kraken... had taken advantage of his stupor and latched a hold of him! Unable to resist the pull itself, Will struggled against the pull of the water to turn to his arm which had been grabbed.
It was the knight who had grabbed him. With a relieved smile, he nodded toward the young man, who's determined gaze was set upon the beast.
But behind them... the tentacles were gaining fast. Better to stop and hold their ground here... perhaps with Will holding off the tentacles the knight could launch more lightning and...
Will felt himself shift ahead of the knight. He was gaining speed, the knight was stopping. Darting his gaze down to the young man, he frankily waved his free hand, and attempted to give a word of dissent:
"Blorugh!" was the only sound heard underwater.
Hurling toward the beast, arms flailing, Will felt another tug... this time on his foot. Relieved that the young man decided against throwing Will at the beast, he looked back to thank the man... who was at least ten meters away. He looked down at his foot.
A tentacle had grabbed him. The Kraken had him.
Still being propelled forward, Will felt the beast's tentacle tighten his grip. The bones in his foot cracked against the beast's constriction. The other two tentacles were coming. As much as he would like to run the beast through, he felt his momentum ceasing.
He looked up. Another swirling bolt of lightning from the knight... he and the lightning were two projectiles headed toward the same objective. How had it not just conducted through the water, electrocuting all of them?
Then it hit Will; the young man's magic was somehow allowing he and his magics to forgo the laws of the water. It was as if they were above ground. And so, the lightning would proceed, until it missed or hit its target.
"Perhaps I can give it a shortcut!" he thought, and extended his steel sword to the lightning.
His muscles constricted into themselves as he gave a scream which manifested only as bubbles of air, escaping from his glowing, twitching face. The surge of power... it was stronger than he had hoped. Both a good and a bad thing.
As his vision blackened, he turned his gaze down toward the tentacle which had grabbed him. Just as he and his sword had conducted this attack, so would this tentacle. The attack could meet its destination.
