A loud blast came as the balcony fell down into the ball room.
A figure hung back-over and lifted his body forward as his head fell forward, staring at the ground. White hair, filled with rubble and unkempt flowed along as two eyes stared straight at the floor, both lacking some sleep and showing a calm neutrality. The figure moved drunken and his clothing was damaged from many fights, as what the large unwieldy thing he dragged behind him, leaving a line in the floor, scraping. The once so beautiful room was now filled with dust and rubble.
The figure had little of an idea where he was or what he had just done. If one attempted to use diplomacy on him, they could expect their heads ripped off or be hit into the ground. While the Copy had lost most thought, the humanity he still possessed from ever having been a normal human SOLDIER caused him to be annoyed and, perhaps even, enraged on his current situation. Failing to get where he wants to go, trying to accomplish what he was told, yet still wandering everywhere in places that were unfamiliar. Somewhere in his mind it just snapped and the Copy had blown up the balcony just to let out some heat.
"Shi...Ra..." Came slow and broken out of his mouth. His voice sounded rather rough, but low as if he had not used it since ages. It was where he was heading, but so far failed to get anywhere closer.

Having a run-of-the-mill mission didn't use to feel so strange.
Well, not that it felt anything, exactly, and maybe it wasn't as innocuous as it appeared. As long as he was under Xemnas's thumb it wouldn't help Axel to make sure one like this might go wrong, and he wasn't out to kidnap the princess this time, just make sure no one else beat him to it.
The Fairy Godmother that the report very conveniently overlooked did not see eye to eye with him.
Initially this was probably because she only came up to his ribcage, but in the end he barely crested her ankles. He got the vibe that this was less a permanent curse and more a temporary punishment meant to teach him something, but that didn't really stop the curse words or the fireballs that burned through the sparkling mist after her. Maybe if he left the world it'd work itself o--
"Uh o--fffff--!"
BAMN[/b]
Only a combination of instinct and luck saved Axel from tumbling down with the balcony; he'd seized hold of a tassel instead, and held on for dear life as it dropped straight down. The end puddled at the floor, but not quite enough to pancake the Flurry, who still clung to it just a few foot-long inches from the marble.
"Man, I didn't get her that mad, did I? Friggin' b--"
"Shi..."
Axel looked up with a muted grunt of surprise to see a mountain moving away, making an empty riverbed in the floor behind it. Well, maybe not that big, but certainly a lot taller than Axel had ever seen a guy. It didn't take pointy ears and a cape to figure out who blew out the balcony--in fact, it didn't take Axel more than a second--and obviously the short-sighted (among other things) Godmother had fun-sized the wrong guy.
Mannnn. This wasn't Axel's problem at all. But for all he knew this dumpy stranger was out to blow up the whole castle or take out the princess, and at any rate just needed to take a time out after that little boo-boo.
Waiiiit a minute. He knew this guy! Bigger meant he was certainly harder to recognize, but this was the white-haired guy from the islands. He and the other two hadn't been so hard to beat--but then, Axel hadn't needed to deal with him or the clown till he took out the kid with the sword. The only thing he remembered was needing to look out for bullets, which made sense when the stranger had a gun.
Welp, Axel might be more inclined to play it safe if he didn't think this guy was an immediate danger to the princess--but he was. Big whup. He'd fought Heartless about this big with Roxas, how different could it be?
Organization standard boots hit the tile with a softer but still solid click. "Hey geezer!" And fire at Axel's fingertips meant Eternal Flames weren't far behind. At least they were the right size--even if they weren't nearly as deadly this way, at least they weren't unwieldy. "S'matter? Grandkid forget to call?" One after the other both chakrams flew at the stranger's face. Axel hoped to catch him in the gullet, but an eye or two would be just as well.

The G Slayer stared around himself. There didn't seem to be anyone there, the Copy's mind went blank for a moment. He didn't understand why he could not find his way back, to get back to Shin-Ra Corporation, destroy the building and get done with his mission. For a moment he started to slowly calm down before hearing a voice. The voice sounded rather distant, as if something was wrong somewhere. He didn't truly understand the concept before noticing flames.
As he looked down, he thought he saw a red-haired mouse with clothing, but it appeared to be a tiny person. This, however, did nothing to him. He had so far reacting similar to all opponents, no matter the size, looks, or even race. The strangest beings or the largest. But also the smallest and the weakest. At all of them he had moved at with full force, mainly wasting his strength and stamina.
This time would not be different to the G Slayer as he watched the tiny thing toss two things at his face. Immediately he let himself slide down and twirl upon his feet, the large oversized gunblade scraping over the floor with him. First moving away from the smaller enemy, but then getting lifted up in the air as the Copy spun back full on his feet. He swung the large oversized gunblade over his head, not caring where the two chakrams he just dodged went to as he swung down his gunblade.
Only from the crash into the floor, there would come a crater if the gunblade hit the ground. If he hit the small human, the Copy expected the guy to be surely dead, if he evaded, the crash would send debris flying about, which should knock him over for a next swing.

Axel was running just a second after he let barbed words and weapons fly, knowing that at this size the distance he had to cover in order not to get hit by a counterattack was probably close to ten times what he was used to. Even with a head start he couldn't hope to get that far away in time, and so Axel found out the hard way that this battle wouldn't be decided by skill alone, but luck. At least as far as he was concerned. Debris rained in boulders from the swathe the bullet cut, and Axel didn't bother trying to zigzag his way through--the rocks didn't give a damn which way he went, they'd land where they fell anyway. All he had to do was concentrate on getting as far away as possible with the time he had and calling Eternal Flames back, since clearly he hadn't gotten an eye, and at this point Axel would really like an eye.
Or to be tall and gangling again, that'd be nice too.
But, Fairy stupid Godmother.
"Man, are your panties in a twist! You coulda really hurt me, jerk!" Quiet guy, too. Axel couldn't tell if he was getting riled, but the Flurry wasn't concentrating too hard on his zingers anyway under the circumstances.
But riddling the ground with shattered stone did have one silver lining for Axel, since once they stopped being a minefield they became his stepping stones. He fired off a quick volley of fireballs from a higher one--sacrificing power for range--and teleported in a flash of shadows and flame to the crumbled balcony's railing just in case the guy was a fast shot. His chakrams were back in hand at the first thought, and he took a moment to charge up the flames dancing along the points. If that volley bought him just enough time, he'd let fly--but at the first sign of a counter he'd be either hopping down to take shelter or leaping back into the darkness.
Hopefully the former. If he had to teleport to compensate for every daring dodge and flying leap, he wasn't going to have enough juice for this battle.

G Slayer has failed to post for 4 days.
The Light has kept Castle of Dreams!
Since Axel has won, he is allowed an upgrade of one ability each or one modification to his power, and will be notified. Requests are to be PMed to Vincent. Congrats!
