(Disney Castle Present)
How long had it been since the Thief of Light had been in a castle on his world so far? It felt like so much time had passed ever since he and the other Warriors of Light were in the gallant kingdom of Cornelia after defeating the entity known as Chaos, despite the fact that it wouldn't even be remembered because another time line was created where the people were at peace and weren't threatened by Chaos and his fiends... That is, up until not too long ago. How they were even born once again in this day and age was a mystery to the Thief.
Hakuro had found himself landing inside what appeared to be a hanger of some sort that was attached to the castle. There enormous gears, pulleys, sleds, and various parts on machines that the Thief didn't even know were mechanical. It was incredible! The only type of people he knew of that had technology reminiscent to this had been the Lufenians of his world!
He exited the ship and followed a short path leading to a winding stair case. He took his time walking up the steps, seeing as how nothing seemed to be occurring that needed him to rush. The stair case had been a bit narrow for a person to walk through. However, it was wide enough for him to walk through without trying squeeze through. The stair case wasn't all that long, as he reached up to the top after winding around two times. A door had placed at the top to probably keep the sounds of engines and machines from distracting the people up the stairs.
The Thief of Light opened the door and received an eerie gust of wind to his face. The wind carried a cold, disturbed feeling, too. The kind of feeling that lingers after a battle that had been fought by powerful forces... Forces that the Thief didn't want to get acquainted with so soon.
As the Thief walked outside and examined the terrain about him, he couldn't help asking out loud, "Oh man.... What happened here?"
What the thief saw had been the hedge cut to shreds, the walls sliced open, damaged columns, burnt hedges, and spots that appeared to have had an explosion occur there. The Thief drew his sword, Kotetsu, while he looked around. The chance that the battle may have still been going on was a possibility and he may have to defend himself. He looked for the nearest entrance into the castle and spotted a reddish brown door leading inside. He jogged over, while looking around himself and holding the sword a little below his waist with his right hand and having it parallel to the ground. He stopped at the door and pushed it open with his left hand.
The area was a bit dark behind the door, even with the light coming in from the outside. He stepped inside and looked around himself, to find another set of stair leading a little further up and going into the hallway where the columns were. His footsteps echoed through the hall of the castle as he quickly made his way around a turn. He looked down the hall, seeing the sunlight pour in, revealing small particles of dust floating through the air. The Light also hit a massive, white door. He rose his sword to his right shoulder and let it rest on it as he jogged down to the door. As soon as he was in front of it, he brought his gaze up to it.
"Man, this is a lot bigger than any gate or door to any part of a castle I've seen... I wonder what's behind it," Hakuro stated to himself out loud, while walking up to it. He placed a hand on it, to come across a strange presence coming from behind it. It was filled with light, but seemed to have been contaminated by darkness.
He brought his hand back and stepped back from the door to examine it a bit. He thought in his mind, "How do I get in here? There's gotta be some hidden entrance so that the residents of this castle used... Wherever they are."
Hakuro looked up and down the massive door, to come across a rectangular indent in the lower right of the door. He walked over to it and placed a hand on it. It felt loose to him. He pushed on it, causing it to open up to reveal a massive throne room. The Thief of Light let out a breath of irritation as he entered the room.
"Of all the castles I've entered, this has got to be the largest one I've been in," He stated irritably. The thief began to jog down the red carpet stretching down to the throne. As he approached the throne, he took note of a large stair case leading downward. The presence he felt before seemed to have been coming from that area.
The thief quickly stepped down the flights of stairs and found himself entering a room that seemed to be almost the same size as the throne room. The room seemed dark and covered with menacing looking vines. In the center, there was an enormous shining orb that seemed to have a light that was dying down. Next to it was an odd white door that was shining just as brilliantly as the orb.
Enter the door... Save this castle's past with the royal family.
Hakuro was stunned. He looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. Though the voice sounded peaceful, it sounded like someone dying. In the past, when the Thief heard someone talking like this, it somehow ended up being an enemy of the light. He looked around anxiously, ready to strike anything. About 5 minutes passed with not a single noise except the sound of the Thief of Light's feet shuffling and his slightly heavy breathing. The Thief walked over to the door, continuing to look for whatever may have caused the voice.
"Enter the door... Man, if this ends up like when me and the other Warriors of Light fought Chaos and the Four Fiends in the past... Gah, nevermind! Lets just do this," the Thief of Light thought, as he brought himself around to open the door. The door opened on its own, Light shining brilliantly as the Thief entered it. Hakuro closed his eyes as he entered, not wanting to see what he was getting himself into until he was at the other side of the door.
The Thief opened his eyes, to find himself a place that was black and white. He brought his hands into view, to see that they, too had become black and white. His hands were covered in large white gloves. He looked at his sword, to find it cartoon-like.
"This is weird... What did I just get myself into," Hakuro asked himself out loud.

he Light was gaining strength, more and more worlds were falling back into their hands and the balance of good and evil was starting to become unstable. If one side grew too strong then the balance would collapse and then all hell would break loose, perhaps all the worlds themselves would collapse so the 'chessboard' could be cleared, ready for a new game to start. It was a frightening prospect, and one that only a certain scarlet wearing man and his Goddess seemed to realize. He knew it was a problem, for he heard it from the lips of his beloved Goddess personally. The Dark was trying to overthrow the worlds and bring chaos along with it, but it seemed to be the complete opposite. Sure, there was some powerful dark presences out their in the worlds, but the majority was that of Light. There was simply too much Light and it was becoming worrying.
Even though this world with the gigantic castle was reeking with Darkness, it was only one of a handful of worlds compared to those contaminated with the Light. It was painful to see... not that the Light was a bad thing, but the balance needed to be kept in check. It was inevitable. Some worlds simply HAD to belong to the Darkness. Light and Dark... good and bad. What was with all these labels in this day and age? How long had the scarlet-coated male been asleep for before waking up in the world made of nothing but the purest Darkness? It wasn't a particularly important issue at the moment, for the Goddess had spoken and the worlds needed a new hero. And that hero had finally arrived. It also seemed his journey had only just started as well for a Light presence could be felt further inside the castle itself.
Heading down a flight of steps, the scarlet-coated man laid his eyes upon the Courtyard, taking note of the battle worn area. Seemed that the Light and Darkness had met head on here to try and decide the fate of this world. Why? What importance did this huge castle hold? This castle felt like it belonged in some sort of comic or cartoon, but in it's current state... well... It was probably best for this world to remain in Darkness for fear of the balance to overturn. A sound reached his ears, that of what seemed to be a door opening. Walking down the last remaining steps, the figure known as Genesis Rhapsodos cast a glance across the Courtyard until his eyes came across a large red-brown door that was left ajar. Eyes narrowing, Genesis made his way along the broken and destroyed flooring until he was standing beside the large door. Turning to face it, he pushed it open to see another staircase leading upwards a short way. The Light presence that was felt earlier seemed to have gone this way too, for the scarlet-coated man could feel it up ahead. It was then that the sound of another door opening reached his ears.
Proceeding onwards, Genesis eventually came across a massive set of white doors. A smaller door had been opened in one corner and the SOLDIER 1st Class pondered the reason for having such a gigantic door in the first place. Pushing the thoughts aside, Genesis crouched down a little so he could fit through the smaller door. He was pretty tall after all. Standing up straight, he dusted himself off as he raised his eyes to examine the massive throne room complete with another staircase leading down. Making his way across the royal red carpet, the Light presence Genesis had felt earlier suddenly vanished, yet a bright light was shining up from the staircase ahead. Quickening his pace, Genesis made his way down the stairs to see the Cornerstone of Light/Dark. ".. What the...? What is this...?" He asked himself aloud as his eyes seemed to be drawn towards the huge ball-object-thing. It was radiating a powerful Darkness but there seemed to be an equal amount of Light trying to break through behind it as well... or was it the other way around? It was hard to tell, especially sine Genesis wasn't 100% used to this whole, 'sensing the Light and Dark' ability he had found himself with after waking up.
Flicking his eyes to the right, the SOLDIER 1st Class noticed another door, sitting there randomly in the middle of the room with no walls attached. Walking around it, Genesis wondered what else he was going to see that defied logic and everything else known to man. A simple shrug of his shoulder pushed the thought aside as he approached the door and watched as it opened itself before him. Genesis just let out a simple 'hah' of a remark before stepping forth and through the door. Blinded by the light the moment he stepped through, Genesis soon found himself in a new world altogether, one covered in black and white and very.... different. His eyes instantly went down to his hands to notice they had changed slightly. More cartoon-y. This was weird, especially since his once scarlet coat and gloves were now a boring shade of gray. Yet his attention was brought away from his hands as he had finally found himself in the presence of the one who was emitting the Light he felt earlier.
Quickly turning around to face the lad, who was dressed... oddly, maybe it was this world or something, Genesis narrowed his eyes as he raised his arms up and folded them across his chest. "You... You're of the Light, no?" He asked, taking a step towards the man with Light within his heart, before lowering his arms from his chest and pointing his right index finger off in the Thief's direction. Eyes still narrowed, the SOLDIER spoke again. "The balance of Light and Dark is becoming unstable. I don't know what you plan to do here, but leave before it's too late."

The imagery of the castle had been continuously been an mental picture in his mind ever since the battle on it's grounds. The shredding of the landscape, destruction of some of the castles walls, and devastation to a world once filled with the laughs and joys of his people. No king could forget such a scene. No king would allow such a scene. Thus Mickey's light appeared upon the battlegrounds where he fought. The light spurred out from his body but within seconds the dark aura had blackened it. His body was surrounded with gray shadow. With a sigh, Mickey closed a fist to his heart reminding himself of why he pushed forward; of why he was here.
Without any hesitation, Mickey sprint full out towards the throne room. Coming upon the massive door, the King paused to see the door already opened. Several scenarios popped into his head as for reasons why. Was it the Horsemen? Had someone else attempted to take siege on the castle? Or maybe even...no. He had to stay focused. Pushing through, Mickey ran through the door to catch a person walking down towards the...Cornerstone. Instantly, the king's heart beat faster and his speed increased a slight bit also. The distance he was running never even came across his mind compared to the danger that could occur around the Cornerstone.
Finishing his descend from the stairs, Mickey stopped to see the Cornerstone there and no other presence. Had he truly just hallucinated what he saw? Walking slowly towards the Cornerstone, Mickey recalled the vision of watching the darkness purge the Cornerstone. Running down to see the sword push into the beacon of Light. Having to be dragged back to the throne room as the impact changed the world. Then fleeing and starting this battle of Light and Darkness. As much as he believed everyone has some Light in themselves, he couldn't deny the actions he had taken in this fight could prove his beliefs otherwise. But he wasn't wrong...was he? Darkness could be equal with Light, but it had to be used correctly. Riku had fought the battle with him to find truth in this. Was it not the keyblade of the Dark Realm that was in the King's grasp?
Looking to the side to see the door leading to his past, Mickey questioned why he never called Merlin back to dismiss the door. Upon sight of it, a clamp in his heart occurred. That was never a good feeling. A thought passed through him that maybe the person's target wasn't the Cornerstone, but instead the door. Mickey walked over to the door with a quick pace. Opening it, he was showered in a light that engulfed him. Opening his eyes, a familiar surrounding engulfed him. He was in the past! Looking around, the mouse king waddled around as his image was surprisingly unchanged. His figure was more cartoon-ish but his clothes had not reverted back to what was worn back in these days. Mickey smiled as memories came back to him.
His memory shift was diverted as he caught the end of what appeared to be someone else speaking. Turning towards them, Mickey ran to join up with them. To his surprise he noticed the Thief of Light in this world and talking with someone that he was unfamiliar with. Just by seeing the back of his clothing, Mickey knew this was the person he saw going towards the Cornerstone. The only question now was if this meeting was a positive one, or a confrontation waiting to happen.
"Is everything all right here," Mickey question. He left his right hand open just in case his keyblade would be needed.

Minnie looked around to see if anyone would answer her call. To her surprise, it was Mickey that answered her call. Or, rather, it was someone who looked like Mickey. Ah, Minnie suddenly remembered. This must be Mickey from the past, though where was Minnie from the past. "Wait, Mickey don't run off." Minnie watched her beloved husband run away as she gave chase after the mouse. Minnie with her dress on ran as fast as she could, but she lost him. Minnie looked around. She found herself near a port. This brought back many memories. In the past, this was where Mickey and her caused Pete many troubles. Minnie was happy. Not a trace of darkness could be found in this world. With her hands on her knees, Minnie turned around to head back home. To her surprise, a group of people waited at the entrance of Disney Castle. There was Mickey and two others. Minnie remembered the last time that she had fought she received a bloody dress. Minnie kept her body as close as to the side as possible; she didn't want anyone to notice her. It was bad enough that she wasn't a strong fighter. She didn't want her husband to see her covered in tears and blood again. This time she was going to stay out of the fight, unless it was neccessary.[/ul]

It was still strange to see this world covered in black and white, as if all the colour in this world had literally been sucked out and erased completely. The grass, the trees, the water in the river near by. The sky itself was bleak even though it appeared it was actually a bright summers day. Perhaps this was just how this world was? Cosmos didn't fill Genesis in on any of the worlds being like this, being different, mutating his body slightly into this strange cartoon-y style. It reminded him of his pat, all those experiments and the large single black angel wing that sprouted from his back as a result of it. Thankfully the SOLDIER had learned to summon and dispel the wing as he saw fit, making his appearance more humanoid over being compared to a monster. A moment passed and the scarlet-now-gray coated man wondered how his friends Angeal and Sephiroth felt about their own wings?
Genesis however, was brought back to reality upon hearing the sound of footsteps heading in his direction. The presence of the one he followed into this world seemed to have vanished completely and was now replaced by an even stronger Light aura instead. And not just the one either. Slowly, the SOLDIER 1st Class turned around, his left arm raising up to his waist before coming to a rest there, his weight clearly shifting over onto one leg as he causally stood there, eyes actually widened slightly from what he now saw. A mouse... a large mouse, standing on it's hind legs and was actually speaking a language he understood. What was this? WHO was this? And why was he here? Genesis took a moment to ponder the situation he found himself in, his eyes peering about the area to try and locate that second Light aura he could feel. Perhaps it came down himself being here? He was one of the Darkness, regardless on how much he tried to hide it and maybe it was this that attracted the Light to come investigate?
If that were the case, then what the Goddess Cosmos had said was true. The balance certainly was falling dangerous off balance in the direction of the Light. if this continued, everything that was known could literally collapse. Genesis' eyes narrowed a fraction as his left arm fell from his waist back down to his side. Taking a small step forwards towards the Mouse King, the SOLDIER spoke up. "I can feel your strength, sense your power... see your Light. The balance must be restored! Leave this world now!" He said, his tone sounding somewhat demanding, however his posture showed little in the way of hostility and malice, though the SOLDIER would not hesitate to summon his Rapier and attack the Mouse King to try and drive him away from this world if needs be. The Darkness needed to be balanced out with the Light. There was no other path to take, for the Goddess has spoken and her word must be obeyed!
((OOC: A tad short, forgive me T__T It'll pick up when the action starts =D))

Had he been imagining everything for within seconds the Thief of Light was gone with only the visitor within his presence. Mickey had a strong curiosity for the man. This world was not like any other world. No matter what happened here it was possible to effect the future. Even if he was probable to run into his past self, though he was sure he would never remember after everything he had been through since this time. There was still the picket fences, the open grounds, and freedom of a vast region. This was possibly the best times of his life, other than working for Pete. It was true that bullies would get what was coming for them in the future.
Mickey tensed up a little just hearing Genesis speak. Who was this guy to come into this world, this point in time, and tell Mickey that he had to leave? It was not insulting just abnormal, especially with the man taking the time to come across his own castle to get here. Boldly he stayed where he was almost ignoring the man completely. However, his words troubled him also. Sensing his Light? Balance? What did this mean? Mickey could not honestly feel where this man was allied. There appeared to be a sight of Light but it was clouded with Darkness. He had not felt such a blend of the elements since he aided Riku through Castle Oblivion, but even then Riku's Light was stronger. He only needed guidance to find his own path.
"What is the trouble here?" Mickey stated. "My name is Mickey and if there is anything wrong here allow me to fix it. This is, of course, my domain." There was a slight enjoyment in allowing himself to take ownership over this world. It truly was his. His responsibility! His prize jewel! This thought made him think about how his home looked now. How he failed to protect it and no matter what he could not take it away. He could only fight and do what his heart led him to do. His Light was guidance and it's strength never died as long as that person had hope. Hope and dedication won wars. This one would be no different.
"Who are you?" Mickey questioned. He was still unsure exactly how this man would react to everyone he was saying but all he could do was act friendly. Friends and enemies came in different appearances and forms. He was a prime example not being exactly...human. Hopefully this man was closer to the Light than he appeared.

Thanks to the colour missing from this world, the vast quantities or back and white was beginning to cause temptations for the SOLIDER to raise his gloved hands to his eyes and rub them a couple of times to see if that would correct his vision ans restore colour. Though his new appearance and that of the cartoon-y mouse lead him to believe that this world was actually supposed to be like this. Fighting back the temptation and instead sliding his hands into the pockets in his long gray coat, Genesis just lowered his head a fraction and narrowed his eyes towards the Mouse King. Though a subtle movement, it was clear to those who saw it that the SOLDIER had taken on a slightly more malice stance. It didn't help too much that Genesis wasn't too keen on interacting with people he didn't know, but for no one else to have noticed how much the Light was overpowering the Dark... If this continued, then there would be no more worlds left to protect from the Dark.
The balance would collapse and the chess board would be swept clean so a new game could start.
Genesis said nothing in reply to the Mouse King to start off with. He just watched, mostly in curiosity as the large mouse spoke again in a tone he understood. However, the second Light aura that felt like it was trying to hide nearby, starting to move. This caused the SOLDIER to lift his eyes away from Mickey and off to where he could 'feel' the Light moving. Shortly, he noticed the figure of a second large mouse, this one clad in a dress, scampering across the area and heading towards the door which he himself had passed through earlier. Genesis however, didn't move an inch. His hands remained buried in his coat pockets and his eyes quickly returned down the Mouse King who revealed his name to be Mickey. Again only silence was returned to the owner of Disney Castle for a short moment, Genesis deciding to speak again after the short pause. "Your domain? Then the castle though the door the female mouse is hiding behind is also yours, no?" The scarlet-now-gray coated man asked as he slowly walked around the Mouse King and placed himself between the King and Door/Queen. Turning on his heels, Genesis locked his sharp eyes back onto Mickey, staring at him with a powerful ambition burning within his eyes.
"The castle must remain in Darkness. You fight against the Dark in order to bring peace, but you're only disrupting the balance of Light and Dark, tilting it off it's scale and threatening to destroy everything instead of protecting it. This world too, must fall to the Darkness to bring the balance back even." Genesis explained, though he wasn't going to expect the Mouse King to understand, nor to back down, this being his domain after all. What man... or mouse, would want to see their own world fall into the enemies hands after all? Regardless, it had to be done. This world needed to belong to the Dark and if the Mouse King wasn't going to back down and leave, then drastic measures were called for. The SOLDIER's sharp eyes narrowed and his hands finally pulled themselves out of his coat pockets, readying himself to summon his Rapier. However, he turned away from Mickey and laid his eyes upon the Cornerstone of Light. This thing was radiating a powerful Light aura and if it were tainted with Darkness, some balance might be restored.
"When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end, The goddess descends from the sky, Wings of light and dark spread afar, She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting..." Genesis said aloud as he raised up his right arm and pressed his hand against the huge Cornerstone of Light, instantly feeling the power within. It was very soothing, comforting. No wonder the Light wanted to keep it this way, but the Goddess has spoken and the world's needed a new hero. Someone who could restore order and balance between the Light and the Dark.

Mickey watched the man as he tried to retrieve information from him. Yet, as he spoke he stopped himself to see that Genesis was watching something else. His ears also jerked as a strongly familiar source of Light came over his body. Minnie. The King could only stare at the man before him and hope that he was of their alliance. Their eyes then met once again. Hearing the man before him speak, as he mentioned his wife, quickly had Mickey feeling uncomfortable. Just how the man spoke was unnerving. Soft and poetic, yet had the tone of being serious. Watching the man walk past him only made things worse. Mickey was not the one to assume someone's alliance unless they, without a doubt, proved themselves to be enemies. Thus he did not bring out his keyblade but watched with curious eyes.
Turning to once again catch his gaze, Mickey listened the man's words. Without another word, Mickey stretched his arm out and activated his keyblade; Kingdom Key D coming to his side. No one would keep his home in darkness, especially at this time and period of his life. The future was enough to deal with, he could not allow everyone in this time period to see another dark day like they would in the future. Darkness was something he was willing to work with, and even help if their intentions were right. But nothing involving Darkness would sweep the grounds of his castle before the Horsemen's invasion.
"This world is not to be touched!" Mickey yelled. "Light and Darkness may work in a balance, but this world belongs to the Light! I will not allow that to change!" Mickey angrily watched as Genesis appeared to ignore his words and turned to the Cornerstone. Upon his touch, Mickey gripped his keyblade tightly, straining his cartoon figure in the process. Without another movement, Mickey pointed his keyblade towards the enemy. "If you're here to bring Darkness to this world, I will not allow it. Your intentions mean nothing with this world. Now...leave!"
With that Mickey sprinted towards his opponent. Once within melee distance, he jumped up easily. He spun his body to allow himself to go higher than he could reach with any weapon, excluding Sephiroth of course. Once high enough, Mickey unwound his body and brought his keyblade straight down on top of the Twilight foe. Light would prevail this world! (Sorry for the bad post. Wanted to get it in, but my muse is failing me)

Minnie whispered as she slowly retreated behind the door. Her hands were placed together as Minnie began a silent prayer to the unknown creator of the universe. So long as her husband was safe she didn't care if she got hurt in the process. The fate of the worlds was on Minnie's and Mickey's shoulders. Minnie closed her eyes as she tightened her marriage ring on her finger. Minnie loved her husband very dearly. She would die for him no matter the circumstances. He was her Romeo; she was his Juliet. They were two star-crossed lovers. Love shall conquer all, even the power of dark stood no chance. [/ul]

The Goddess had spoken and a new journey was now laid out before him. The SOLDIER 1st Class knew little of what was going on in each individual world, but it mattered not in the end if the balance was broken. Imagine you held a piece of elastic within your hands that represents all the worlds on Kingdom Hearts and pulled upon either end till it was tight. Your right hand is the Light and your left being the Darkness. Say the Light continued to conquer worlds and eventually the balance was too far off the scale to be restored. Simply release the elastic band with your left/Dark hand and watch what'll happened to the Kingdom Hearts universe. The mental thought was painful even for Genesis to picture and this merely strengthened his resolve to fight for the Goddess, and if words wouldn't work...
Genesis sighed as he heard the Mouse King yell at him, stating that this world was to be left as it was. His leather gloved hand slipped from the Cornerstone of Light and came to rest by his side, his head lowering down towards the ground while he closed his eyes during the small movement. So it seemed it wasn't just men who were greedy, but mice were too. The SOLDIER 1st Class subtly shook his head from side to side as he as listened to the Mouse when he spoke once more, this time saying he won't allow any Darkness to be brought upon this world before demanding Genesis left this world. Greedy and ignorant... "I see you're short sighted and thus will never make a good King... To be so blind and ignorant not to realize that I come here bringing Darkness in order to SAVE everything you could possibly know..." Genesis spoke, finally turning himself away from the Cornerstone to look back in the Mouse King's direction. The expression spread across the SOLDIER's face now was more that of disgust over disappointment. Looks like there was only one option left now. To take this world by force.
Upon catching sight of the strange, large key within the Mouse King's hand, Genesis shifted his footing slightly to put him in a more offensive looking stance. What was that Key? Surely it wasn't his weapon? Regardless, the look within the Mouse King's eyes clearly told Genesis that this was indeed his weapon and that a battle was unavoidable now. Momentarily alerted to the Mouse King's sudden movement, the SOLDIER temporarily completely forgot about the female Mouse Queen hiding behind the door. Taking a hop backwards, a flash of light escaped Genesis' right hand before a long silver/gray trail of flame shot out from his hand. Though this wasn't an attack, Genesis had merely summoned his long Rapier to his hand ready to engage in battle with the Mouse King. It was been a long time since he last fought someone and Genesis actually wondered if he was going to be up to the challenge.
Sharp, intelligent eyes locked onto Mickey as he leaped into the air, watching as he span himself around to gain added height and put more power into his blow. Clever. Seems this Mouse was more then what met the eye. However, as soon as Genesis has competed his short hop backwards, he threw up his right arm wielding his Rapier and smashed his long weapon hard into the Keyblade within Mickey's hand, sending sparks in every direction, blocking the strike from the Mouse King. Genesis' speed and strength matched Sephiroth's almost perfectly which was made clear when he swiftly followed through his first block and immediately brought the long thin weapon back across himself in a second strike, attempted to hit the Mouse King into the Cornerstone of Light while he were still in the air. "My soul, corrupted by vengeance, Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey, In my own salvation, And your eternal slumber..." Genesis quoted before leaping away from the Cornerstone of Light putting some distance between himself and the King, Queen and the Cornerstone itself. The last thing Genesis wanted to do was damage the Cornerstone. That would be the key thing to imbue with Darkness to help turn this world away from the Light.

Overhearing Genesis' words as he blitzed towards him, Mickey felt a piece him feel torn. The man talked of him as if he was a 'destroyer' of darkness when he was far from it. His misunderstanding of the mouse was the only cause of this brawl and it made the King wondered why he had not resorted to reasoning with the man. This world affected time, and he was beginning to wish the door had been sealed closed. Already, just by their return to this time, it was affecting the future in some form. If darkness was to take this world there would be no balance. It would throw off everything that was to come in the future and he, at this time, would have no idea of what went wrong. Therefore, he didn't have time to discuss his beliefs and argue with the man. If perhaps on the grounds of his castle the two could find a settled difference, but here time was not on his side.
With the clash of metal, Mickey intensified his power within the strike hoping to break through Genesis' quick defense. He didn't concern himself with his abilities as everyone demonstrated some form of enhanced skills nowadays. Matching the movement of Genesis, Mickey swirled his body around to block the incoming strike of the rapier. His flexibility and size made the move simple to pull off. Landing on the ground, the mouse pushed himself back from his platforms putting a small distance between the two. He looked up awaiting for an aggressive form of attack but was surprised to find his opponent simply staying where he was. Did his defensive block catch the swordsman off guard?
Then another phrase was stated from the man. The poetic phrasing of the words was foreign to him as he was use to the childlike rhythms and simplistic interpretations that followed. Decoding was something he treasured more when it was straight forward. Riddles always caught him off guard in most situations. He wasn't sure how he would have figured out the Journal's secrets if he hadn't thought to enter it with Chip and Dale. Taking a quick breather, Mickey began his rush on the opponent only to find him jump away to put an even bigger distance between them. Pointing his keyblade towards Genesis, he angled the tip to point just above him.
"Graviga," the small mouse stated as a giant sphere of dark energy appeared above the swordsman position. Almost as soon as the sphere appeared the top of it would push down on it forcing gravity to intensify on his opponent. Hopefully, this would slow the man down. Jumping up once more, Mickey did not flip but instead rush in open. Once within melee distance he waved his keyblade across Genesis' chest and began to continuous attack the man. His goal was pushing him towards the door where Minnie was. If he could return the man to the castle then he could be more calm towards his attacks and their effect.
