A small rip in the air announced a dark portal opening and from it fell a bald man dressed in a black suit wearing sunglasses. The man fell from a height that might’ve had a softer landing if he had fallen on the floating platform only a foot or so below the portal; however, this particular man was not so lucky. The dark portal had positioned itself a few inches away from the platform, making even grabbing the platform impossible. To further insure the man would not have a fun fall, the portal tossed him at an angle that had him heading down towards the water below.
Bracing himself to become soaked, the man fell only to land painfully against a solid ground. Rolling a bit from the fall, Rude came to a stop a few feet away from a lower platform in the area. With a grunt of slight pain, Rude sat up and fixed his sunglasses that had somehow stayed on despite the impact. Staying in his position, the Turk looked about his surroundings. A low platform was behind him, floating rocks above, solid water under him, and waterfalls that were rising upwards…okay. Strange to say the least, but then again what had not been strange on his travels?
With a sigh, Rude got to his feet and stood upon the…watery floor. As he looked down at the watery floor, he wondered how he was able to stand on it and not fall in. Underneath the surface were large bubbles, but he wasn’t sure exactly what they were for. Then again, he didn’t want to find out what they could do either. Knowing his luck, the bubbles would probably be just as troublesome as the portals. Not a happy thought.
Looking away from the bubbles, Rude turned his attention to the lower platform. It looked like the only way to go up was to climb up by platform. Not really happy with the idea, Rude headed over to the small platform and climb up on it. Once on it, he had to jump to another platform across from it. As he landed on the next platform and looked at his path ahead, he felt annoyance sink in at what he saw. There were more platforms to jump to and from the looks of some…they could move also.
“You have to be kidding me,” Rude muttered as he saw no other path forward. With no other option, but to keep moving, Rude began his “climb” across the platforms. Too many platforms and a bit of careful traveling later, Rude found himself inside of the large and strange castle he had seen from outside. Taking a moment to rest, he looked around the entrance way. With its fountain, chandelier, and large staircases the place was elegant, yet something about the place just didn’t feel right. Something was here, but not showing itself.
Hidden company, huh? Well as long as it stayed hidden and left him alone, he supposed he could live with the uncomfortable feeling that lingered in the area....until he could get out of the place at least. Deciding to explore, Rude headed for the stairs keeping an eye on his surroundings as he went. Eventually, Rude came to a door that opened up into the largest library he had seen.
Closing the door behind him, Rude scanned the rows of books and discovered the rows went down to another floor. That was certainly a lot of books, but perhaps…perhaps also the key to finding out information regarding those dark creatures, or those strange blade like keys, or maybe a hint of what was going on in the worlds general. Even the place didn’t hold such information, it didn’t hurt to look did it?
Moving from his spot by the door, Rude headed towards the nearest shelf and began to examine titles to see if anything useful could be found.

((OOC: 50th post! Wooooot! =D And it's in a thread with one of my favourite RPers! ^__^)) There must be a place somewhere that held the information on which he seeked. There was so much going on that he didn't know about, that he was starting to get more and more confused over figuring things out and moving on with his plans. Of course there was the option of ignoring all these strange new discoveries and keep going forwards as if nothing had happened, but that wasn't the case. New situations arose, new information was discovered and answers were needed. It all started when he awoke in the bright, water covered world that was Order's Scanturary. The Goddess had revealed herself to him there as well as the man with raven hair and a 'royal' feeling about him. It was then that the man in the long scarlet coat was introduced to these entities known as Light and Dark. But there was much more he didn't understand and so he now decided to take a moment out of his mission to conquer worlds for the Darkness and do some research.
There was two things mainly that confused the man in the scarlet coat the most. Firstly, were those strange black creatures with the glowing yellows eyes which he stumbled across in Traverse Town when meeting up with Angeal for the first time in many years. He had no idea what they were nor understood just how dangerous those little critters were. Secondly, when competing in the Tournament in Olympus Coliseum, he faced an opponent who wielded a weapon shaped like a large Key and known as a Keyblade. It might not have peeked his interested if he hadn't faced the female owner of said Keyblade and witnessed the power those keys held first hand. Why were they important? Did they have something to do with those strange yellow eyed beasts? The man in the long scarlet coat and auburn hair just shook his head in disappointment, upset that he missed the chance to meet up with the owner of the Keyblade after their match had ended.
Though there was no point in crying over spilt milk. He had a feeling that their paths would cross once again, and perhaps their weapons as well. Another reason why gathering information on these things was important. Genesis didn't want to be on the receiving end of one of those Keyblades again without being fully prepared for it this time. Thus his search for information had brought him to this world. Hollow Bastion. Even though this world's core belonged to the Light, there was still a powerful Darkness lingering about, as if it was watching you from the shadows, disappearing from view altogether if you turned to stare at what you thought you saw from the corner of your eye. However, it wasn't by choice that he arrived here. Until the Scarlet SOLDIER learned to control those strange swirling black gates, he feared he'd be relying on their unreliable and unpredictable way of appearing whenever they wanted and throwing you out into any old world.
So, Genesis found himself within the walls of what seemed to be a large mansion, or perhaps a castle. And would you have it? Inside a library as well. Fancy that? Though not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth, Genesis merely glanced over his shoulder and watched as the dark portal he stepped through vanished into nothingness. This world felt so strange... Light and Dark seemed to be all over the place and it was really messing with his senses. However, it was quiet enough to hear what was going on so the Scarlet SOLDIER merely shrugged his shoulders and walked over towards the nearest bookshelf, taking note that there was also an upstairs to this room as well, which in itself was huge!! How many books were there here? However before the auburn haired man could pick a book from the shelf and flick through its pages, the sound of doors opening and closing reached his ears. Curious, Genesis turned away from the bookshelf, his bright blue eyes peering towards the level above him. There was a staircase nearby leading up a level, so after heading over to it, the SOLDIER made his way upstairs to see who or what had entered this place.

((Congrats! Aw, thanks <3. It's always a pleasure to RP with you. ^^))
Rude was working his way through the second row of books, when he suddenly paused in his searching and simply held still, listening. The library had been quiet with an air of tension to it for a while now; however, up until now nothing had moved or made a sound. So the sudden sound of footsteps coming from the lower floor made the Turk concerned. Surely, he had been alone when he entered and even if he had not been, why didn’t he notice or see anything when he had entered? Was this another one of those dark creatures or something else?
Not liking where this was going, Rude stay where he was a moment longer, listening to the steps. They were getting closer…and now coming up towards him. Rude moved away from the book shelf slightly, so he could get a better view of what was coming up the stairs and also to give himself space in case he had to fight. As he waited for the thing to appear, a thought occured to him. In his past encounters with the black creatures with yellow eyes, the little beasts had simply appeared whereever they pleased and while he knew those same creatures could get bigger, he found it odd that one would be taking the stairs, so maybe he could rule them out. So did that mean whatever was coming up the stairs was human or at least something outside of the dark creatures?
If so..... then perhaps it was a resident of the area that could help him; however, Rude doubted he was that lucky. Not wanting to jump to conclusions, the Turk moved towards the stairs to meet whatever was coming up them. As he moved to head down the stairs, he stopped at what he saw. A scarlet coat and a face he had seen twice before....but with silver hair instead. Before Rude was not the strange copy of Genesis, but Genesis himself. A bit of a surprise to say the least, but also something that rose a slight bit of concern. While Genesis was not Kadaj, Rude knew from experience that is was best not underestimate the man. Still he didn’t seem like he was going to attack, so the Turk remained calm and kept his distance from the approaching man. Fear had not taken over Rude, but instead he was curious as to why Genesis was here.

((OOC: Sorry that this one stinks a tad ^^; )) The sound of leather boots treading softly against the carpet laid upon the marble steps leading up the floor overhead, was the only sound reaching the ears of the auburn-haired man. That and the creaking of his leather coat. As he neared the next floor, the only thing that came to his eye was that or more and more books. At least there wasn't a shortage in here, which meant finding some useful information wasn't going to be impossible. Though as the Scarlet SOLDIER neared his destination, the feeling that another presence was within the room started to grow stronger, as if it was coming through the mixture of Light and Dark within this world. maybe it was because he was getting closer to who or whatever it was that were here with him. A few more paces later and Genesis reached the top of the stairs, upon which he then glanced over to his right and laid eyes upon a gentleman in a black suit.
At first glance, the SOLDIER would have taken this guy as a Turk, but back when he was working with Shin-Ra, the Turks wore navy blue suits. This could have just been some businessman lost from his own world. Bald head, shades, tall figure... The Scarlet SOLDIER couldn't help but ponder if he actually knew this guy or not. From where he stood, Genesis couldn't see any visual clues upon the suited man's face that may have led him to believe his thoughts, but since he seemed just as calm as he did... "....." Genesis didn't say anything, instead he just stood there and stared at this man for a moment, thoughts rushing back and forth through his head. The main one being that if this guy was part of the Turks, should he attack him or not? It was Shin-Ra's fault that he turned out the way he was, branded as a monster thanks to his wing and those experiments carried out upon him. The Turks were part of Shin-Ra and so they were every bit as responsible. But then again, he might not be a Turk. At the end of the day, Genesis was lacking several pieces of information. Sealing himself inside the Flooded Cavern didn't help.
"Who are you?" The SOLDIER 1st Class finally spoke up, turning his body to face the bald-headed man directly. Raising his arms up slightly, Genesis stuck his hands into the pockets of his long scarlet coat and took a few paces forwards towards the man in the shades. He wasn't feeling any malice from this guy, but that niggling feeling that he thought he knew this guy wasn't helping the situation. What was he doing here? Taking a moment to try and detect this man's aura, Genesis became momentarily surprised when he couldn't pin this guy down to being sided with either the Light or the Darkness... almost as if he were blending into this world itself or maybe he wasn't sided... a third party. A neutral. Taking another step forwards, drawing ever closer towards the bald-headed man, Genesis spoke up again, his tone slightly louder now. "What are you doing here?" The SOLDIER asked, his tone somewhat professional, a hint of sternness as well.

((I struggle with my muse just to get a post out, so I don't consider any post bad. ^^))
When Genesis came up the stairs and paused to observe Rude, the Turk kept his calm appearance. While Rude was hoping Genesis would not attack, he didn't put it pass the man to do so; however, as he watched him from behind his shades, he noticed that Genesis seemed to be trying to figure him out.... As if he didn't know what he was. For a second, the observation puzzled Rude. While Rude did not know the man personally, he was very certain the man would know a Turk when he saw one. Anyone working for Shinra had some idea what they were, but then again...times had changed. Maybe something was throwing the man off, but what?
After a second of thinking, Rude boiled his answer down to one thing. The suit. Back when Genesis was around the standard color had been navy, but now it was black. While it was a good thing Genesis didn't recognize him as a Turk, it still did not change the fact that the man was here now...and asking questions. Despite Genesis approach and tone of voice, Rude held his ground and answered back in a calm voice.
"No one of importance," he responded to the man's first question and then nodding in the direction of the books. "I was searching for information, is all," he said, answering the second question. He moved back to the book shelf he had been examining before Genesis had made himself known. Pretending to be examining the books once more, Rude questioned Genesis.
"What brings you to this place?" he asked casually. Inwardly, he prayed this act would keep Genesis from figuring him out. As long as he didn't slip up maybe he could get out of this jam without having to fight.

Something seemed a bit fishy about this guy. Genesis know a lot of the Turks back when he was working for Shin-Ra himself, they were the bodyguards of the President, sent out on missions much like SOLDIER were, though the men who joined SOLDIER were pretty much that- Soldiers. Men who fought and defeated the enemy. Turks were more like spies, working undercover perhaps, gathering information, being sly and sneaky. That sort of thing. Genesis knew all about these Turks, such as Tseng and Cissnei. Come to think of it, wasn't there a bald headed man wearing shades that seemed to always hang out with that idiot with the red hair? The Scarlet SOLDIER narrowed his eyes a fraction, staring directly at the man before him as he searching through his mind to try and come up with an answer? Though after a couple of seconds, nothing seemed to come up apart from asking a simple question. Though before he could, the gentleman in the black suit before him spoke up to answer the questions already posed to him.
No one special and looking for information? Them sounded like 'Turk-talk', but the Scarlet SOLDIER wasn't like other certain members, who'd just blindly attack on sight. So, after watching the shade-wearing man approach a nearby bookshelf, Genesis peered off to his side and eyed the books lined up on the shelves next to him as well. It would take a while to search for any information due to the large number of books and having limited information. At least he had the word 'Keyblade' to go by. Perhaps he best start of looking for that? However, his attention was broken when the man nearby asked a question of his own. Genesis smiled subtly and glanced Rude's way. "Same as you. I'm looking for information and this seems to be the best place to start." And with that said and done, the SOLDIER turned to face the bookshelf beside him and ran his finger along it slowly, tilting his head as he browsed the titles of the books. While doing so, he spoke up. "Do you work for Shin-Ra?"
Genesis posed the question he wanted to ask earlier, picking a book from the shelf as he did so and flicking the main cover open, raising an eyebrow at the strange runes and completely unreadable text scribbled within. Letting out a subtle 'tut', the SOLDIER 1st Class closed the book in his hands, a small cloud of dust blowing off the cover. The creaking of leather escaped from his coat as it tightened around his arm while returning the book to the shelf. Pausing, he glanced back towards the man nearby and looked upon him suspiciously. "So what information are you looking for? I can tell you're not from this world as you might have me. You're clothes don't fit this library...So where are you from?"

As Rude continued his search, he could feel Genesis watching him. Despite how uncomfortable the situation was getting there was no escape from this. While Rude could put up an act well enough, he was certain that if Genesis was left to his thoughts, the man would figure him out. In fact, when he saw from, the corner of his eye, Genesis' eyes narrow slightly, he was sure the man had come to an answer in his head; however, when Genesis stopped watching him and smiled slightly, Rude relaxed a bit. Maybe he hadn't figure him out at all despite Rude's vague answer to his previous question....at least Rude hoped that was the case.
Whether Genesis had figured him out or not at least the man had answered his question and seemed to proceed with his own searching. Information gathering as well, but on what? Rude wondered as he continued to search the books for something that he could understand. Before the Turk could question Genesis on what he was looking for, Genesis posed the question that Rude had hoped would not come up at all.
Do you work for Shin-Ra? The words sent thoughts crashing into each other; however, by some miracle Rude did not show the panic and was able to respond in a calm manner.
"Can't say that the name is familiar to me," he said and then picked up a book that looked like it could hold some valuable information. "Why?" Rude questioned the man as he looked through the pages of faded print for something useful. Nothing there. Rude closed the book and began searching for another. As he did so, Genesis spoke once more questioning him about the information he was searching for and where he was from.
Presistant...he'd give Genesis that, but how to answer that?
Rude took a moment to think as he pulled out a second book and began to search through it for information. His eyes caught the words "shadowy figures", but beyond that the book did not explain anything further. With a light sigh, Rude replaced the book and began searching for another. This was going to take forever.
Without looking at Genesis, Rude spoke as he made his way around the book shelf.
"You are correct that I am not from here. My home is nothing like this place. It's more peaceful there. As for what I am searching for..." Rude paused to examine a book with strange markings on it. Again useless. Shaking his head, he resumed his search and spoke once more.
"There are some dark creatures that appear out of no where. I've been trying to figure out what they were and find a way to stop them," he said and then when he was on the opposite side of the bookshelf, blocking Genesis from view, he asked, "And you what are you searching for?"
Then came the wait for an reply. Rude's words hadn't been completely a lie. He really was searching for information on the shadowy creatures that appeared almost everywhere he went and also the key shaped blade. While he had left the part of the weapon out, he knew that by avoiding questions as to who he was or where he was from with Genesis would make the man suspicious. Still as long as he didn't attack...he'd be okay. As Rude was looking through the books, he leaned forward to examine a series of yellow books. They all seemed to be different volumes on some sort of subject, but what was hard to tell. Besides their numbers the titles were faded; however, there was one book that stuck out like a sore thumb. It was a purple book with the number 5 on it. While under normal circumstances, Rude would see the book as simply misplaced, something about this particular book told him that it was something more, but what? Out of curiosity, Rude pulled the purple book from the shelf to examine it more closely.

Genesis closed his eyes for a moment and smiled inwardly as he begun to think about something, formulating a plan that might help get him some answers, as well as getting him closer to the one man he wanted to see dead. But it wasn't going to be so easy, for if this man was really a Turk, then the auburn-haired man would have to chose his words carefully. There was still that part within his mind though, that made him think that whoever this bald headed man was, was just some ordinary guy. But then more questions arose within his mind. Why would some ordinary guy be out here looking for information? Firstly he wasn't from this world, so that must have meant something? Ordinary people couldn't travel through worlds right unless they had a strong heart. Sadly Genesis knew not of this information so all he was doing now was going on instinct.
"Not familiar huh? Very well, perhaps I was mistaken about you." Genesis said aloud as he watched the man nearby from the corner of his eye, picking up a second book himself and flicking the cover open to find readable text this time. Though it would seem to be more of a story for children, since there was faded pictures dotted on every other page. The text was pretty large as well. The SOLDIER returned the book to the shelf and glanced off to his right, looking towards the stairs leading down before peering to his left and taking note of the door which the shade wearing man must have come through. Though something seemed to catch his attention while peering towards the door, for he fell silent. There wasn't anything visual at the door, but there seemed to be something beyond... something powerful. Glancing back at the bookshelf, Genesis spoke up. "Why? You remind me of a man called Tseng." He said, picking up a third book now from a different shelf and opening the cover, the spine of the book creaking as it revealed it's age.
Again, a book containing useless information. Returning the book to it's resting place, Genesis glanced up just in time to see the man in shades walk around the bookshelf, as if trying to put some distance between themselves. The Scarlet SOLDIER raised a eyebrow slightly. What did he think was going to happen? That he'd attack on sight if he found out this guy was a Turk? Hardly. IF this man really was a Turk, that he could direct him to Tseng who then in turn could point him in Hojo's direction. Genesis paused as he listened to what the man said next, mentioning that his home was more peaceful then here and that he was looking for information on those dark creature things. "You and me both, it seems. Those strange creatures with the glowing yellow eyes... It would seem that they arrived on my homeworld some time ago. I was busy with Deepground and guarding the Flooded Cavern when they attacked.... and then I woke up in these worlds." He said, staring at the bookshelf as he if could see through it and look upon the man on the other side. Though he soon ended up glancing back towards the door nearby, that thing he could sense on the other side distracting him again. Turning back to the bookshelf once more, the SOLDIER side-stepped a could of times so he was before a different set of books, looking them over slowly. "So those creatures and something known as a 'Keyblade'."

((Bah. >.< The bad post of the day. Sorry about that.))
While Rude was examining the purple book, he heard Genesis reply to his earlier question. Whether or not the man had pegged him as a Turk or not, Genesis seemed to leave the subject alone for the moment; however, Rude was not a fool and kept his guard up just in case, the man tried something new. As Rude was flipping through the pages of the purple book, finding nothing of use, he frowned a bit as he put it back in its spot for the time being. That book had to belong somewhere.... Rude turned his attention to the rest of the library for a moment. Yeah... no chance of figuring out where from up here, he might have to go downstairs and look too. In any case, the Turk marked the place in his mind and continued to look through the books.
When he heard, Tseng's name, he paused for a second in his searching. It was strange how a few words gave away so much. The words began to make Rude wonder what Genesis was really after; however, in time he'd find that out too. In any case, Rude mentally shook off the slight shock and went back to examining the books. "I see," was the only reply he gave to Genesis for the moment. As he was working on another row of books, Genesis spoke in regards to his search for the dark creatures. While familiar terms were ringing bells here and there in the Turk's head, he remained quiet listening to Genesis. At least the man was just as lost as he was in regards to the creatures and possibly the portals. Rude was in the middle of thinking how to question Genesis, when the word 'Keyblade' came up and pushed the other questions away.
"Keyblade?" Rude asked as his mind went back to the strange place full of the blade like keys. Was that what those strange weapons were called? If so, then how did that connect to everything else in the chaos? While Rude was trying to connect the dots to the already messy puzzle, he did not notice the presence that was drawing near.

The soft hum of her Corridor to Darkness relaxed the cloaked woman as she walks out of hole of black and purple that had seemed to appeared out of nowhere in one of the many aisles of the library. Removing the hood, Selena glances around and remembers that she had been here in this particular room. However, the last visit wasn't the best as the dark keybearer had gotten paranoid thanks to the Heartless and a certain Remnant.
Right now, the hooded angel had no idea that there were two other presences near her. The one in red she had recently met at a tournament and had been able to sense the darkness of her own heart. The other one she had not met. Selena's distance from them was too far out of hearing. Ironically when Genesis mentioned the keyblade, Selena quietly sneezed as she pulled a dusty book from the shelf.
The cloaked angel sat down against the shelf and began to read the rather old book. Selena gently turns the yellowing pages as she read the story within. The hooded keybearer couldn't tell if it was this world's history or just a really old piece of fiction but she didn't care. She was currently enjoying its story and ignores the world around her. Well, Selena would most likely won't ignore the Heartless but that was a different story for another day.
((OOC: Sorry, short post. Not much to work with since I'm having Sel play hide and seek from you two. =P))

Remaining silent for the time being, the auburn-haired SOLDIER kept his eyes on the door leading out of the library. Whatever it was he could feel, it was emitting a massive Dark aura... but it didn't feel alive, as if it belonged to any living creature. It felt more like one of those strange dark swirling gate things, but on a much grander scale. Though it was difficult to be certain- the 'twilight' that was present in this world was still jogging his senses and making his ability to detect people or animals or anything with a heart harder then usual. But, it could be said that Genesis was still not used to this new ability. Back on Gaia this 'power' wasn't within his arsenal... perhaps having Zack opening his eyes for him allowed him to gain it? Who knew? Peering back towards the bookcase separating himself from the man wearing shades, Genesis pondered if searching in the same place was wasting time? He was still uncertain of who this man was and it bothered him.
Upon hearing a single word question reach his ears, Genesis walked around the bookshelf so he was on the same side as Rude, though instead of turning to face him or pick up a book, the SOLDIER instead just made his way to the banister that protected people from falling down to the floor below. Leaning forwards and resting his elbows upon it, the Scarlet SOLDIER glanced over all the bookshelves below and let out a subtle sigh. With only the two of them here, searching through all of these books was going to take a long time. However, while overlooking the lower level, he spoke up. "I assume you know as much as I do, judging from your constant looking through these books. There was a Tournament being held at a world known as Olympus Coliseum with an assortment of characters there, some present that I've only read of in books." He said, referring to goat-man Phil. Turning his body to face the suited man, but remaining leaning on the banister, Genesis sized the man in shades up before continuing. "There I met a woman who wielded this large key as a weapon. When questioned, she said it was a 'Keyblade'. It's power was immense. Possibly the strongest weapon I have come across in my lifetime."
Genesis unintentionally lowered is left from from the banister and pressed his gloved hand against the lower left side of his torso, an area of his body that had been struck by the said woman's Keyblade. After a couple of seconds silence, the Scarlet SOLDIER returned to reality and blinked his bright blue eyes the once, refocusing his vision upon the Turk. "But that's all I know. What these 'Keyblades' are or what they do it beyond my knowledge. I only wish I had managed to catch her before she left that world." Genesis said before pausing and turning back to look down upon the lower floor of the library again, his eyes looking about the bookshelves trying to see if any of the covers caught his eye. "I assume you know nothing about these 'Keyblades' then?" He asked, about to push himself up and turn back to face the man wearing shades before something moved out the corner of his eye, causing the SOLDIER to become alert and quickly glance in that direction. Something happened on the lower level but it just out of his line of sight. His brow tightening and his eyes narrowing, Genesis tried to divert his senses to 'look' around the room but this darn world and it's now annoying 'twilight' was screwing everything up. Pushing himself up off the banister, Genesis held his right arm out to his side, summoning his Rapier to his hand with a long stream of flame. "We're not alone..."

There was silence for a moment allowing Rude to continue to ponder a bit on his travels and the key like blade he had seen back in that place of heavy despair. On his first visit to the place he had learned nothing of the strange blades. Sure he found out what the weapon had looked like, but beyond that nothing. Rude picked up another book as he heard Genesis footsteps coming towards him once more. He had just got done flipping through the pages as Genesis came back into view once more. As Rude replaced the book, he heard Genesis speak once more.
Rude listened as Genesis spoke of the Coliseum, a place the Turk remembered all to well due to the encounter with Kadaj and the G-Slayer. While it was still a bit annoying he couldn’t get information from the Remnant Leader about Rufus, Rude push the loss away for the moment and focused on Genesis's words. As Genesis spoke of the residents, Rude turned to face the young man, his initial worry replaced by curiosity and the opportunity to perhaps learn more about this already large and chaotic situation within the worlds through information exchange. He folded his arms across his chest lightly listening. Genesis spoke of the strange residents at the Coliseum before pausing and turning to face him.
As Genesis did so, he spoke of a woman at the tournament that wielded a large key as a weapon and called it the keyblade. Well that was an interesting bit information. When Rude had been in that place full of keyblades, he had assumed that people once wielded them at one point in time; however, those blades were more like tombstones for the dead. They did not have any power as far as Rude knew and yet Genesis had said that the weapon was extremely powerful…no the most powerful weapon he had ever encountered. If that was so, then how had so many of such a powerful weapon end up in one place? And what of the wielders? If there was one still alive now…did that mean there were others? The questions again. The list only grew, but without answers nothing made sense.
Rude was pulled out of his thoughts as he saw Genesis move from the corner of his eye. He watched as the SOLDIER pressed the lower left side of his torso lost in thought. For a moment, Rude wonder if the young man was injured; however, his focus returned as Genesis finished what he was saying before turning his attention back to the lower floor and asked a question of his own.
Rude thought for a moment about the place where the keys were collected and what happened the second time he was there. The visit had been different that time around….a bit rougher. In any case, the Turk moved his left hand to his chin as he thought a bit. Genesis had shared what he knew, so perhaps he could do the same. After all two heads working towards the same goal was better than one... even if purposes for said information was different.
“As far as what the purpose of these keyblades are or what they are for, I’m afraid we are in the same boat there; however, there is a place were many of these weapons are gathered, but unlike the key you encountered these keys seem to be dead; however, the keys seems to mean something to those black creatures that keep popping up. It seems to agitate them in some way. Why is beyond me, but that is all I know of the strange weapons,” Rude responded honestly and then there was silence between the pair for a moment. Genesis was on the edge of moving once more, but the young man suddenly paused and seemed to focus his attention on the lower floor becoming tense and alert. Rude frowned a bit as he watched Genesis for a moment and then became curious as to what the man had seen to cause him to summon his weapon in such a manner. As the young man spoke, stating they were not alone, Rude moved to the other side of the banister and looked over the shelves for anything that might have changed down there; however, everything seemed the same to him. Still being on the lower end of the sensing game, Rude did not dismiss, Genesis's action to a whim.
“Better check it out then,” Rude said quietly before taking action.
Moving away from the banister, Rude headed towards the stairs quietly. While Rude was not one to go running into danger, he was also not one to leave a potential threat unchecked. Once at the stairs, he began to move down them quietly scanning the area as he went. Genesis could come if he wished, but then again maybe having a watch at higher level could help find whatever it was in the room with them quicker.

((OOC: I am going to assume that this is Light Hollow Bastion.))
As Selena continued to read the aged pages from the book, she remained unaware that there were two other presences in the room on the upper floor. Even though the contents of the book itself had nothing of relation to the keyblade or her strange 'Heart's Blood' element, the story that the dark keybearer assumed was fiction the book contained had kept had been enough to keep her bored mind interested. When the hooded angel finished the book, she quietly stood back up and put the book back in its place.
However now that her attention wasn't in the book, her senses, although not as strong as Genesis', were able to hear the flames from the summoning a certain Rapier yet didn't hear the footsteps already treading down the stairs. Automatically, Selena assumes that it was a Heartless and summoned her own keyblade to her hand before glancing in the sound's direction. Unfortunately, she cannot see beyond the top of the shelves and the second floor. This is going to be harder than I thought...muses the hooded woman as she weighs in her other option, flight that was also known as 'fleeing'.
"No...Not this time."murmurs the cloaked angel as she started to quietly yet slowly tread the pathways between the shelves of the library which now seems to be a labyrinth to her. Compared to her last visit to this world, Selena felt like that she was the hunter this round and that the one presence she had detected was her prey. The dark keybearer still had no absolute idea that there were two presences, not just one. There was a chance that either presence could find her first before she could find them.

((OOC: Sorrah fer takin' so long to get a post up my lovelies. Not been feel too health the past few days. )) The Scarlet SOLDIER stared at the man wearing shades in silence as he began to explain what he seemed to know about these weapons known as the Keyblade. Something to do with those small black critters with yellow eyes? That was interesting information, but until more was know about both the Keyblade and what the black monsters were exactly, this information just wasn't suffice. At the mention of there being a place where many of these Keyblades were gathered, Genesis seemed to become even more intrigued, but the moment that these keys were perhaps classed as 'dead', caused the SOLDIER 1st Class to frown in disappointment. Genesis wanted to get his hands on one of these weapons and try and learn from it first hand. That, or find the woman he fought in Olympus Coliseum and get answers from her. Sure, Genesis was one of the Darkness, but he was unique in so many ways. When the Turk admitted that it was all he knew on these weapons, Genesis shook his head from side to side subtly and once more eyed the bookshelves on the lower level.
After drawing his weapon and becoming alert to what he assumed was somebodies presence in the room, the Scarlet SOLDIER watched over his shoulder as Rude went off towards the large staircase that lead down. These two had only just met and hadn't even exchanged names yet and he was expected to trust this guy just like that? Fat chance, especially when Genesis still thought this guy was a Turk and was simply looking for a piece of evidence to back it up. Perhaps by watching to see how this man wearing shades dealt with the current situation, might answer a few questions? However, as soon as the bald headed man disappeared from view down the stairs, Genesis returned his own attention to the floor below. Placing his free hand on the banister just before him, the SOLDIER vaulted over the edge and landed with a graceful 'thud' on top of a bookshelf below, causing it to creak and strain somewhat under the weight of this fully grown man.
Standing up straight, Genesis peering over to his right and looked down to the floor below, pausing when he notice Rude coming to the end of the stairs. Bright blue eyes narrowed slightly as he frowned and looked behind him. Nothing there either. Shifting his weight from one leg to the other, the auburn-haired man now peered off to the left side of the bookcase, looking down to see if anything was there. Nothing here either. Perhaps he imagined whatever it was he thought he saw earlier? Pushing the thought aside, Genesis walked down the bookshelf until he came to a spot where two had been pushed together, taking the chance to turn and head in a new direction, looking down both sides of this new bookshelf to see if anything was here that shouldn't be. As he walked, his books echoed slightly off the wooden shelves as well as the movement of his body to cause his coat to follow out behind him. Yet when 'Artemis' started to move, Genesis paused instantly as he felt a subtle disturbance in the worlds 'twilight'. Either it was one of the black monsters or there was another person here. It was too hard to tell without any visual clues.

As Rude made it to the bottom of the stairs, he heard a thudding sound on one of the book shelves, before it gave off a low moan. The Turk looked up slightly to see Genesis walking along the top of the shelves looking here and there for whatever had caught his attention in the first place. While Genesis was busy with his search, Rude began his own search as he moved down the narrow corridors of books.
Left, right, left, right. No matter where the Turk looked nothing, but books greeted his eyes. As the Turk continued his search, he began to wonder if the thing that had caught Genesis attention hadn’t been one of those dark creatures. As far as Rude knew, the black creatures were the only thing that could appear and vanish as they pleased. In any case, the more the Turk looked for the thing, the more he began to believe it had to be one of those creatures passing by that had caused the alert. After all he had yet to find anything within the rows of books yet.
However, the Turk’s mind quickly changed as he heard the distinct sound of something being summoned followed shortly by a whisper, he couldn’t kiss. The sounds were close to him, so the Turk continued to move through the maze of books, trying to find the source of the voice; however, being within the maze along with the silence around them made pinpointing the source difficult for the Turk.
((A short one...))
