It was a bit selfish of him to consider, what with all the worlds and people he needed to help still in turmoil, but when all was said and done when peace came to them did he hope to find that own inner peace with his most important person. Maybe they were not so affectionate now with their relationship because he had yet to truly express his feelings to her, as she in return if those feelings were requited, but there was a hope however small they would work things out and get there someday. He looked away as he noticed the two embrace each other in a passionate kiss, fingers woven together as he brought his palms to rest behind his head that had a huge grin on his face, even so much as to turn around to look away to give the loving couple a moment alone without azure eyes on them. But when he did, he noticed he had taken his eyes off Lea for even only a heartbeat... and the former Organization member was gone. Where did the former Nobody go, and why hadn't he heard a Corridor to Darkness open? Well... if Lea was no longer a Nobody anymore, he supposed he could not summon dark corridors anymore, so maybe he decided to leave to go back to his gummi ship. Or maybe actually left to decide to give Leon and Rinoa some time alone? Either way, now that he had left Sora felt a twinge of sorrow in his heart. Nothing to do with his Nobody being Roxas, but because Lea was his friend too and most of all, he felt that he had not helped the spiky red-head resolve his reasons for seeing Roxas by finding him yet. What if Lea was one of the people who's sadness had yet to be healed by him, and the Key That Connected to Everyone contemplated if he was meant to help Lea reunite with his other? Even if he was, it appeared the Flurry of Dancing Flames had already left, and with no idea what direction he was headed in Sora decided it was best to stay put at the moment. Even though Leon had requested to help him find his special sweetheart that had already resolved itself sooner than everyone expected, and all Sora really had left to stay for was to get to know Rinoa better as a new friend and perhaps learn a little bit more about Leon's past as his true self. Squall Leonhart was the man's true name, revealed once he had returned to his senses, and in relation to his former thoughts the name change had come about because he was ashamed of not being able to protect the people he cared about... people just like Sora was trying to help be happy. "Good to know you as your true name... I'll call you Leon then. But... oath?" he wondered, and subconciously his hand went to his pocket to clutch a certain lucky charm that summoned Oathkeeper as if in reminder. Was that oath the same kind as his had once been, to leave to keep the people he loved safe, and if so was that what he had meant with the promise he had been talking about with the silver pendant earlier? Squall had people he cared for too, present company included, and he wondered if these were also the people he needed to help heal their sadness? It was probably accurate to guess this would all be answered to be true, but suffice to say Sora was wise enough at his age going into adulthood now to know not to always jump to conclusions. He patted the friendly Angelo as if in thought, looking up into the bright blue sky above the vibrant fiend in flowers, as if in thought before looking back down at the couple. "So, does that mean that you haven't yet saved all those people, Leon? I can understand what that must feel like if you can't live up to a promise straight away, it must be hard on you and the people you made it to. Or, if you kept your oath and we can call you Squall now?" he wondered. Namely, he was asking this question because if the people weren't saved and if there was still any chance of rescuing them, Sora was up to the challenge one hundred and ten percent. It had been some years since Squall had introduced himself as Leon though... and with Rinoa present as obviously one of those people, what did he have to save them from? Perhaps the Heartless, or another unknown enemy Sora had not yet encountered along his journey, and he looked on at the older man with some intrigue and curiousity. He hadn't been completely honest about his name or his girlfriend, even after all this time, so there was every possibility that Squall and his homeworld had secrets he still kept close to his chest that he hadn't felt obligated to devote his attention to until now. Sora had been to this world only once before with his friends, not knowing the name of the world or having encounter any heavy opposition to seal the keyhole here, so he had not had the time or the opportunity to relax to take a look around the gigantic world. Looking at the large mobile building Rinoa had come from, though... it made Sora not only wonder, but curious at some of the things he had missed. "So hey, Rinoa! What's that giant floating building you came out of that just showed up?" he laughed excitedly, happy to have something to talk to Leon's significant other. He looked up at the giant building that was floating near the coastline, just on the other side of the orphanage, the whirling of the giant ring underneath bringing about a new headwind that blew off and away from the shear sides of the vessel. The wind once more blew and rippled across his clothing, his spiky hair bobbing up and down in the cool ocean breeze, the scent smelling of receeding rain on fresh earth. This island world reminded him of home, and while it was a beautiful world worthy of defending, he was too eager to get going on some sort of adventure to stop and consider the old saying of 'stop and smell the roses'. Standing here and saying hello to Rinoa and her dog was nice and all, but if Squall had people he needed to save they shouldn't be wasting their time, plus Sora felt like he was intruding on the time Leon and Rinoa could be catching up. He knew he would want that if he and Kairi reunited after a long time apart... just time alone together to truly appreciate the person and say the things to them in private that wouldn't get him embarassed in front of his other friends. Not having much else to consider on the subject without getting his friends moving for something to happen, he crossed his arms and smiled contently, looking at the older couple and hoping they would tell him either to give them a moment like he hadn't been answered with or to come with them to check on the people in Squall's other life.
