Eyes widening at the sight of a slumbering young woman being carried by Sera and... Yazoo? She blinked, slowing her footsteps to make sure she wasn't hallucinating, only Keldric recovered from the shock faster and managed to jerk her out of her daze when he pulled her alongside him and hurried over. As Keldric helped carry the freezing blue-haired woman, Naminé's mind fumbled about with Sora's memories, searching for the fastest way to get to the village. She could try and portal... but it was risky, since she hadn't been to their destination physically before. If she messed up, it would mean that the group end up deserted in some other snowy area. They'd just have to move quickly on foot.
"T-the village is just below the ridge," she had to raise her voice to be heard over the blizzard. "All the h-houses will be loc-cked u-up for the blizzard. We'll ha-ave to g-go to the cave." It was true. She doubted anyone would let them in now, or be able to even hear them outside of their houses. Their desperate pleas for help would just be mistaken as the wind howling. "Just t-take the left path when we g-get to the vill-a-age."
Pressing her sketchbook closer to herself with her arm, whilst still holding onto Keldric, Naminé looked down upon the woman everyone was carrying to see if she could help her too, but it seemed everyone had already got a good hold of her. However, when she looked up, she noted something off about Sera.
"S-Seraphina?" Naminé uttered, looking up with alarm at the woman's face which had become whiter than usual, her lips faded blue. Slipping out from under Keldric's arm she rounded him to get to Sera's side instead, taking one of her arms in turn with the one that held her sketchbook and pressed against her side to share her body heat with Sera. Meanwhile she placed her other hand under the blue-haired woman to help speed things along.
"Let's go," she smiled gently at Sera one last time, before nodding to Keldric and Yazoo as they continued down the path. At least moving downhill was easier than uphill, right?

Wondering why no-one ha replied to his verbal queues, Keldric realized why Sera hadn't been answering his calls to her when Naminé called her name and moved out from under his arm to see to Sera. He missed her body warmth against him, but understood that it was being put to much better use. He trusted Naminé as much as she trusted him with her life, and put faith in her to follow her words about the cave she described being nearby.
With Naminé's body warmth gone, instead he applied it to the young girl and her fox they had saved, rubbing their bodies with his hands to create friction to keep their skins from going numb from the cold. "Hang in there." he smiled down on her with azure eyes, cupping her hand between both his own to keep it warm.
He looked between Yazoo and Sera, wondering who was leading between them, as both of them had originally been carrying the mysterious blue-haired woman. Sera's face looked like the color had been drained and pale as a ice-sheet, but she still appeared to be in control, and so Keldric went with hers and Yazoo's direction. The cold, howling wind blew snow flurries into his blonde locks, as if to say they weren't out of the freezing blizzard yet.

The three of them, he, Sera and Keldric, carried the young girl as they followed Naminé to the village. She just followed Sera's phase and hoped to not freeze before they reached the village. The girl was light, but if they had to carry him, it would be a little difficult. From out of his eye-corner, he could see that Sera was the most frozen after the girl they carried and wondered how long she could hold up before she ended up in the same situation.
Naminé suddenly spoke, but he had started going deaf and couldn't hear her well. I'm not used to all this cold, I never seen snow before I came here... Yazoo was angered inside him, but his face didn't change one bit through the cold. He just followed the rest as they moved through the blizzard.

Warmth. Namine had noticed that Sera was the next to be in a similar state as Jiki and had come to her side to keep her warm. It was a good thing too, as it was getting harder for the shapeshifter to move her own limbs. Sera blinked as she could see buildings (huts to be more accurate?) through the blinding white of the blizzard...Was this the village? If so, the cave could be near but the shapeshifter did not know that. Are we there yet? [/color] But the cave seemed so far away...Sera can't seem to go on...Namine's warmth didn't seem to make a difference anymore...
So cold...So cold....So cold...
Hey...
Who turned off the lights?

"A-almost the-ere..." Naminé muttered to herself under her breath as they trudged further down the hill. She too could see the beginning of the maze of small wooden houses, most of their sledged roofs covered in thick layers of snow like icing that rolled off the corners in small amounts. The hard, continuous downfall of white made the village seem like a full blown out version of something one might find in those snowglobes available in Santa's workshop, only, this couldn't be stopped.
Naminé paused in her footsteps as the taller woman beside her did suddenly and eyes widening, she looked upon her pale face only to find her eyes fluttering close as she dropped backwards.
"S-Sera!" she gasped, panicking as her hands were recieving confused signals from her mind about whether to catch the now falling Sera or the blue-haired woman that Sera had dropped. After overcoming her hesitation, the girl quickly held her arms out to catch Sera, since Yazoo and Keldric still had ahold of the other woman's upper-half so she would come to no harm. Allowing Sera to fall back heavily into her, Naminé stumbled back, but managed to keep her balance, her arms slinking under Sera's and up towards her shoulders to hold her up.
Ignoring her numb hands, she looked towards the entrance of the cave, now able to kiss the gaping black hole that was at the end of the path that led towards their left. Then shivering and biting her lip, she looked back at Keldric and Yazoo. There was no point in speaking if they couldn't hear her, but hopefully they would understand what she meant by her glances.
Just a little further...

Keldric heard Naminé say they were almost there, as he trudged on through the thick, heavy snow with the others. It wouldn't be long now, then they could get the woman they were carrying safely inside and start reviving her.
Suddenly he heard Naminé gasp Sera's name, and he started to feel the weight Sera was letting go of. He supported it as Naminé did her best to hold up Sera, but he knew she couldn't hold her long enough to get to the cave, much less carry her.
As he looked at her, he noticed she was glancing ahead, and Keldric could kiss the black maw of an open cave. Letting Yazoo carry Jiki's weight which he figured he could do quite eaisly, he quickly moved over to Naminé, helping her support the weight of Sera by throwing one of the raven-haired woman's arms over his shoulders.
He nodded seriously in acknowledgement to show he understood, and helped Naminé carry Sera towards the entrance.
They'd make it, no matter how numb he was starting to feel, his spirit was strong. It was just a matter of time...

Yazoo couldn't exactly hear what was going on around him, he just followed whatever Sera and Keldric did as they moved. Also following the white image of Naminé. His hands had lost it's feeling, so he had no idea if he was still carrying the girl or not. He kept following the pace the two others had kept. He couldn't think about much of what was going on. He had been in the cold for too long. He had never been in a situation like this. This was also his first meeting with the white stuff called 'snow'. He could tell that he would hate it after this meeting.
Suddenly the image of Naminé stopped and moved towards them. From the movements, he could make up there was something wrong and he wondered if he had dropped the girl. Slowly he moved his head to his hands and saw the girl was still there, but both Keldric and the other woman were gone. As he looked more, he noticed that Sera had collapsed. Both of them were helping her up. He looked at the girl again and tried to lift her on his own, but his arms started to hurt. For a moment he was able to think a little and tried to summon Shadow Creepers, only getting the feeling as if someone pierced needles into his arm. No Shadow Creeper appeared. He couldn't work with the cold.
Yazoo looked around him and didn't saw the vague image of Naminé anymore nor Keldric. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out. He started to slowly move in the direction they headed before, but his legs felt painful as he moved them. Slowly he worked himself against the pain and slowly he moved forward.

My legs... I-I can't feel my legs!
She was only vaguely aware that they were still moving because the dark blotch that was the cave in the distance was ever so slowly getting closer. With all feeling in her limbs now lost and flurries of snow blinding her vision as well as deafening her ears, Naminé feared the journey towards the cave would mean sacrificing all of their physical senses. Touch, taste, sight, hearing... already they were losing these. Until they would fall one by one, lost within the blizzard without even realizing it as the white swallowed up their only chance of survival- the cave in the distance.
So she decided not to rely on her physical senses.
We have to keep going. We have to save them.
Relying on these thoughts alone and the knowledge that there were other's lives at stake here she pushed on across the rest of the way. Unable to manage a full grateful smile just yet in appreciation of Keldric's help carrying Sera, Naminé's lips were only able to upturn at the corners in a meek attempt. With the weather weighing down on them as well as the people they were carrying, Naminé had to stop her eyes from fluttering close several times. She was becoming sleepily numb.
However, like the other travellers she continued and soon realized they'd reached the cave. At this point she decided not to bother with words and simply continued on with them into the cave. Only it was nightfall now and the further they walked the harder it was to see anything at all. The soft crunch of snow beneath their feet was quickly replaced with wet stone as their footsteps resounded off the hollowed walls. Once away from the cold draft from outside, she began to set Sera down. Then struggled out of the woman's now soaked jacket to fold and place under its owner's head as a pillow.
"We s-should make a f-fire." Naminé's soft voice rang out, quivering as one of her shaking hands flipped to a random page of her sketchbook. It was too dark to see, so she prayed the page she selected was blank and blindly began to sketch a few pieces of wood in secrecy. Hurriedly she finished the picture and reached behind her to hold a few loose rocks in her hand, the slippery stone immediately transforming into rough bark under her frozen fingers. "H-here, some wood." she dropped the logs on the ground before the others, remaining silent and hoping they wouldn't ask questions about how she'd found chopped wood so quickly in a cave that no one goes too. She didn't want to reveal anything, and also they needed to get Sera and the blue-haired young woman warmed up as soon as possible...

Keldric strugged on with Naminé and Yazoo as they carried the others, gritting his chattering teeth, the last of his warmth from running and doing his squats earlier having run out. The only relief he had was pressing his body up against Naminé, leaning into her for body warmth as they hurried for the cave. He looked behind them, making sure Yazoo was still carrying the mystery blue-haired woman, and used all the strength he could muster to haul Sera towards the black gaping maw of the open cave mouth despite the icy wind making his skin feel like it was having a cold burn. He shuddered, pressing on into the shelter of the darkness and out of the cold squall of ice and sheet, shaking a little to rid himself of cold melted droplets soaking into his clothing.
He imagined he had made it this far, more quickly than the others had appeared to have mustered, because of his erratic movements to keep himself warm in the snow beforehand. He heard Naminé's voice call out in the dark, and nodded, realizing it was too dark for her to see it. "Alr-right. I'll f-f find some stones to mark out a camps-site." he shivered, and let his eyes adjust to the darkness, kissing a large, still shape that pretruded from the cavern wall. He realized it was an old, abandoned oriental cart that was man-made, and wandered into the cavern more, noticing there were more of them. He turned a corner, and suddenly some dim lights came into view, from torches around the cavern walls. At the back at the end of the cave in the torch-light, within this circular dead-end, lay a small shinto shrine. The villagers must have come here to pray.
"Guys, over h-here!" he called, and started gathering some rocks into a circle, so sparks wouldn't jump out too far and catch anything else on fire. "Naminé, got some wood yet?" he asked, assuming she had done so, and unbeknowst to him she managed to produce some. "Okay, here we go." he smiled, as Naminé dropped the wood into the stone circle, and he picked up one of the torches from the shrine wall, setting them on fire. Soon enough, a roaring fire took place before them. Keldric lifted Sera closer to the fire, replacing her pillow-jacket under her head, and sighed with relief as he looked at Naminé.
"Are you alright?" he asked, pulling her into a warm hug and rubbed her back, glancing over her shoulder to check on Yazoo and Jiki. "You look so cold... you've got goosebumps all over your skin, like me... stay with me, okay?"

Yazoo's eyes started to fail him and he heard nothing. He couldn't feel if he still carried anyone, he moved a little, but slowly and slowly a warmth appeared as time passed by. He slowly came down to his knees, not knowing where he was. He didn't knew if there was anyone still in his arms, but he tried to place the girl down and then went to rest as he fell to a sleep as well.

It was so cold...
...So Dark. [/i] Sera was still unconcious but the fiery warmth of the fire was definitely helping the woman. Her skin which had nearly gone bluish-white from being outside in the cold for so long was slowly, very slowly, returning to pale flesh. Even her breathing that had become weak during the duration of the trip had become normal. But the woman would be unaware of her own whereabouts, as she had not yet figured out what 'turned off the light'. Sera doesn't even know what had happened after she had fallen unconcious. Explainations would be needed. If the fire could last long enough for the shapeshifter to recover, around two hours or so, then she might wake up soon.

"Hm..?" Naminé uttered when Keldric called the group- or those that were awake and left of it- over to take a look at what he'd found. "T-this works," she smiled, wondering why she couldn't remember this from Sora's memories. Perhaps their distance really was affecting her ability to see through his memories… She knew the further apart they were, the harder it was to have a hold over the chain of memories within him, because she had to beckon the Keyblade Master's heart and lure him higher and higher into the folds of Castle Oblivion and closer to her own prison in order to… to…
She sighed. The links were becoming almost faded and ghost-like, slipping from her fragile fingers like the hero himself. The friend she once could have had. Somehow it hadn't seemed to bad venturing out into the worlds with Sora's memories to guide her, but now those were weakening too. It was so unfair. When she wanted the memories, she was left empty and alone, and when she wished to forget they all came rushing in at once. This time, however, she was just thankful the keybearer's memories had steered her and the group to this safe-haven.
What do you know? Sora saves lives without even knowing it too.
Upon dropping the logs onto the circle Keldric had directed her to, she couldn't help but smile fondly up at the blond as his countenance suddenly flared into her vision along with the warm glow of the flames, his smile just as warming. It was through walking the maps of Sora's memories she'd crossed paths with Keldric, and all the other wonderful new friends she'd made.
Thank you, Sora. Thank you so much, she thought, gaze softening as she looked over everyone thankfully to know they would all be alive and well after all. It would just take a little time, but she'd help take care of them.
Her eyes skated over Yazoo as he silently placed the blue-haired woman on the floor, only to collapse shortly next to her without a sound whilst Keldric moved Sera more comfortably near the fire. Naminé chewed on her lip, waiting until she could see the slow rhythmic movement of his chest heaving to indicate he was now sleeping too before finally letting out a small, subdued breath of relief herself. She rubbed her bare arms to retain warmth, conscious that her hair was soaked as well as most of the short sundress she was wearing- again, what was she thinking?- leaving the normally soft and easy material clingy and uncomfortable against her icy skin.
Keldric's hug was greatly appreciated as Naminé melted into the deliciously warm embrace, cheeks flushed from both the cold and their proximity, but she didn't mind. She was tired and cold and Keldric was comforting. Through half-lidded eyes she nodded and rested her head against him, her laughter a mere whisper in the cave where the howling wind echoed in from the entrance.
"Well, I've not passed out quite yet…" she murmured with a hidden smile, which faltered apologetically when he mentioned how cold she looked. She could have prevented that worry if she'd worn something warmer. Why hadn't she stolen an Organization coat for herself when DiZ offered one to Riku and the King? She felt a painful fluttering in the small empty slot of her ribcage where her heart should be when Keldric admitted he also had goosebumps, as though a small bird was trapped there, wanting to fly out and help him. In response, Naminé did what she could and wound her arms around his torso too, whispering "okay," then lifted her eyes to his face to offer a gentle smile.
The firelight glow danced over his eyes, seeming to bring out the sparkling azure even more with nothing else to reflect its light on, so that it was with great difficulty that she managed to tear her gaze away after a long moment, blinking after realization hit her that she'd been staring for so long. "Maybe we should get some rest, too," she said just as quietly, looking away at the others who were now all sleeping. Unwillingly, she uncoiled her arms from around Keldric but didn't quite break away from his grip fully.

Keldric nodded contently at Naminé, content with what he had discovered. The shrine would provide them, along with the fire, the light and warmth that they needed. He looked back at Naminé as he dropped the logs into the fire, her expression beautiful and warm even in the absence of the flame he was about to create, before he ignited the fire with his spell and moved to pull Sera closer.
He continued to rub Naminé's back as she accepted his embrace around her, softly, reassuringly, as she lay her head against his chest. Looking down at her, her half-lidded eyes made her appear as tired and perhaps even as sleepy as he felt, but her soft laughter proved otherwise, it's almost-near singing charm of her happiness with the circle of his arms putting him at ease.
"It's alright. It's safe for you to pass out now," he replied to her answer in a whisper so as not to wake the others, as if to forgive her for the apologetic faulter in her smile. He felt her arms slide around his torso as she accepted his offer, looking down from Yazoo and the mystery blue-haired girl to suddenly meet her azure eyes, that flickered with the light of the wild fire in the darkness.
For a moment at her meeting his eyes without looking away, which was normally not something Naminé did, as she was always so shy to look away when she met eye contact with him. He looked back at her with a sudden admiration as he shared the moment, in looking into the soft orbs of her azure eyes, highlighted only by the flickering flames of the warm orange glow near them. Not quite hearing her words at first, the impact of them didn't really hit until she started to break away from his warming hug. "Oh yeah, right, if you want..." he whispered almost sheepishly, missing her hold around him, and coherant thoughts came to his mind as his arms finished rubbing her back before they slid away from around her. "You can get some rest. Someone has to stay awake in case the Heartless come, or if someone comes in from the village. I'll wake Sera or Yazoo up so they can take a shift, until dawn breaks, once they've had enough sleep or they wake up. You need more of it, though." he whispered.
He looked at Naminé for a moment in consideration for a moment before she decided to go to sleep, and smiled. "You said you'd stay with me, remember? It's not a good idea to move anywhere and sleep by yourself in the cold. We'll share our body heat together, since we've got no blankets or anything to sleep on, and you can sleep on the inside closer to the fire." he offered in barely a whisper as he composed himself to sit down on the ground next to Naminé, legs outstretched in front of him, and patted a hand on his lap. "Here, you can rest your head on my lap. It's a lot more warm and comfortable than sleeping on the ground. I'll promise not to move if you don't." he smiled, and looked at her expectantly in invitation, waiting eagerly for her answer.
