Xigbar had to admit, he was a little impressed. Despite taking fire from literally all sides this humanoid monstrosity was doing a relatively good job of keeping herself alive. He got the impression that this was where irritation might begin to manifest. Still, the fight was young and tactically the advantage still belonged to them. She had the most impressive speed, but Marluxia was quite the speedster himself, and as long as her killzone was restricted to the length of her weapon she was effectively hamstringed. Everyone involved (including the weird witch-hobo thing) had ranged means of attack, and even the melee fighter had a better reach on account of that scythe. As long as everyone stayed out of arms reach she’d wear down and die in short order. Talk about an effortless battle!
A pinkish blur attracted his attention as Marluxia came ricocheting around, pinballing off of the array of airborne volumes. Traitorpants had realized that straight-on movement wasn’t such a good way to go, it seemed. It was at this point that the two crossed attacks. Pinky was getting a face-full of some kind of ranged attack ( Imagine that!) while the Heartless ate a blast of rising energy. It was probably the first solid hit they’d scored on her. Disappointingly it conveniently displaced her from Zexion’s bibliographic salvo and Demyx’s fun tidal wave, but that was par for the course. What interested Xigbar was that she thought she could just turn her back to him and charge off after the winged hunchback again. As. If.
As he took aim, certain thoughts began to form. It was not unusual for him to think or anything, but tactical battlefield information just wasn’t his thing. Nonetheless, he thought his sharp sniper eye took notice of something in the exchange of blows. Now maybe it’s just me, but it seems like that sword of hers keeps changing color. Or no, that’s not right. More like the, uh, ‘presence of color’ keeps changing or some crap. It wasn’t easy to detect at all; the entire change was in that teeny skull-thing hanging off the hilt. But before his piercing gaze the Freeshooter was all but certain that it had just lightened in color after that attack. A lack of heart meant things like nerves couldn’t play with his head, but it was possible he was mistaken either way. Maybe Marluxia or Zexion could confirm it later, if they noticed. But if it’s like that, what’s fillin’ it up? Is it the kind of thing that comes back over time, or does she gather something….?
Well, contemplating the enemy wasn’t going to rip her to shreds any quicker.
Literally as soon as the assassin got engulfed in the attack Xigbar ceased to perceive him. Whether or not he escaped harm was his business, and either way he’d probably live. It was nothing personal, just the sooner this thing died the sooner he could kick back. With tunnel vision well in effect, he directed his dual guns to the swordswoman and initiated the process of making their energy one. His body quaked and light coalesced into a single mass at their front. The culmination of this large attack would expend what was left of his ammo, but it wasn’t like it was difficult creating more. The Heartless seemed quite please at being showered with smaller shots, but how would she feel when something as big as her katana came tearing into her? He was fairly certain that even full-on masochists had their limits, and right about now he’d find out just how far they went.
A crack rang out as the overlarge arrow flew forth, the kick of which threw his arms up toward the ground. Even if more of those clones got in the way (and they were dwindling kinda thin in such a short time) they would be like feathers stopping rocks. Still though, better to be certain, so he went ahead and called for blackbackup. No less than three Sniper Nobodies materialized over the battlefield, their iridescent crossbows at the ready. When Xigbar’s attack had completed its route, whether in a hit or a miss, they would fire in tandem upon the Heartless . They lacked the sheer volume of his own firepower, but the different angles might be enough to trip her up a little. Gun 'n' Run - One post cooldown Summon Nobodies - Three post cooldown after defeat

Before Marluxia could register it, a flurry of attacks came one after another. He had expected some sort of retaliation from the Heartless during his assault when it came to a close, but nothing on this scale. Her ability to know where he was going to land surprised him when he hadn't landed a direct blow with Drop Shot. The shockwave had, however, provided assistance in gaining ground between he and the creature. What he had not expected, however, was suddenly being blasted with a counterattack out almost instantaneously. He could not abscond from a direct hit, unfortunately, and felt the lashes tear into his flesh. He braced himself in the blow, hissing lowly out of his teeth as he tried to steel himself--
--Until he was being lifted from it.
Even if his status as a Nobody prevented a genuine state of shock or confusion, feeling the watery limbs lift and carry him up and away from the blast definitely left the imprint of clear-cut befuddlement on the assassin's face. He briefly scanned the field for Demyx, but gave up as he was pushed further from the main ring of combat by the other's drones. He took his time getting his second perspective on the battle, taking a breath as he clutched the wound which had ripped through his cloak and left him more than just a little winded. He could not see what was occurring with the winged pseudo-Heartless from the angle, nor much of anyone, especially as he was suddenly and rather unceremoniously dumped onto the ground by the last set of limb-analogues of Demyx's familiars.
He took his breath slowly, his fingers shaking as he steadied himself upon his scythe. If the crazed beast finished with the unfortunate pointy hat fellow, his wounds dictated that he would be the next one to be a likely target of an assault.
Simply put, he knew he would have to draw the curtain in this act quickly as possible.
Heaving his scythe up, the pink haired man sprinted through the clones to follow behind the Heartless in her path. His arms swept the scythe back, culling a few more unfortunate water beings in his path. However, given the rushing torrent of Demyx's attacks the sounds of water exploding were unlikely to be distinguished from raging blasts. He stopped short from the creature as she raced forward, skidding on the water as he stopped and twisted.
Marluxia pushed himself into his desperation attack, Bloom-Out to end this. A circular series of rose-colored blasts ripped from his scythe, going into an attack to cover a three hundred sixty degree area around him, starting with the sword-wielding Heartless's back.
--
Drop Shot - Marluxia swings his scythe down, not only on who he is attacking, but into the ground. The ground ruptures under his enemy and releases a torrent of energy. (Cooldown Time: Four Posts) | Remaining Posts: 3
Bloom-Out - Marluxia swings his scythe around once again, but releases six shockwaves in a circular fashion (unlike Deathscythe, which is more linear.) (Cooldown Time: Once per thread) | Remaining Posts: ONCE PER THREAD

After Voting on the winner, we had chosen that the Light would have won this battle had the battle progressed faster. If you disagree with the discussion, please inform Selena with a well stated PM listed why you disagree.
The Light has kept Twilight Town!
Since Xigbar, Demyx, and Marluxia have won, they are allowed an upgrade of one ability each or one modification to they're powers and will be notified. Requests are to be PMed to Vincent. Congrats!
