And the battle was completely underway from both sides of the fight. The blood rushing through the king's body was heated and he was prepared for anything. Watching the Pearl attack leave his keyblade he was personally unsure exactly how the attack would be taken. The goal was simply be a distraction so others could come and aid the group. He would most likely be the leader of the pack as he could sense both Terra and Aqua were on the group attacking Stroud. For a brief second his eyes dazed over to see who exactly was battling underneath the light of the Kingdom Hearts made from people's hearts. There was no one he could lie to saying that he would rather fight here than there, but he had hope for his friends. This was the battle for Kingdom Hearts like no other before. Failure couldn't be accepted.
But daydreaming would have been the end of the mouse. All he saw was the red glow of the ground from the next attack. Quickly his eyes looked up to see the Meteor attack within feet of him. His eyes bulged up seeing just how massive the attack was. A wail was heard near him but he couldn't hear the words. All he saw was a faint glow of blue appear just before his eyes and hit the meteor on contact. Everything at this opponent appeared to be in slow motion. The Meteor attack collided with the Reflect orb and paused for a brief second. Then the attack appeared to be heading back up towards the sky hopefully towards it's caster. The orb then disappeared but Mickey did not relax. His eyes darted around to see who was now on the scene.
Seeing Montblanc he guessed that this was his savior and did a small nod just as a demented voice came across his ear. There was no denying exactly who that was voice was from. Valerius. Mickey turned to the Heartless ignoring everything else and everyone. An impulse of anger shot through his body remembering everything the creature had put him through. He was one of the people that initiated the attack on his Castle and then was there to defend it like it was his own home. His eyes intensified seeing the debris that was his home in his mind. There was no way a Heartless could feel the emotions flowing through his body. There was no way they could guess the intensity building within his soul aiding him in strength and mind. This would be the day that this would end. No one else would ever go through this pain!
The full vision of Valerius was seen only for a brief second before he disappeared in his casual white blur. Preparing his keyblade, Mickey jumped up with ease and held his body in the air for a brief second with a round of front flips. Just as the blade pushed past where he was, Mickey's body lowered to the ground and with a wave of his keyblade a blast of ice flew down on Valerius. Once on his feet, he pushed back to gather some distance hoping that the ice figure before him had caught it's victim. It was then out of corner of his eyes he noticed swords of Light aiming towards the figure and possibly past him. Another ally was on the scene. Looking up to see Eraqus, he mouth dropped to see someone near him.
"Eraqus watch out!" Mickey yelled hoping his fellow Master Keyblader would hear his plea in time. He couldn't find it in himself to join due to the danger just around him but he was confident Eraqus could defend himself and take on the female Heartless. His eyes only gazed around seeing which enemy was being taken care of and who was planning another attack. Looking at Yazoo, he watched as the Remnant fired a blast at Montblanc. He couldn't reach him in time but watching the same villain who took his hit begin an attack he blitzed forward to engage the enemy. Holding his keyblade out at the first strike of the six that would follow, he properly angled his keyblade to deflect each strike that came from the Run and Slash attack. Once the last strike was handled, Mickey only waved his keyblade to hopefully get a hit in on his opponent. Without a delay he watched the opponent before him but was sure to watch for where Valerius was. He was confident he was opponent wouldn't be defeated so easily.

Meteor, while destructive, was far from the greatest piece of lore in Xande’s arsenal. But as a direct form of offensive magic immediately available without advance preparation or lengthy rituals, it was a formidable force to face down. As such, one might imagine his shock when it came sailing back at him.
He saw the magical defense rise before his projectile struck. There was a moment where the meteor just hung in place, its inertia completely halted by the barrier placed before it. It was during this time that Xande realized just what he had struck. The makeup of the abjuration lay before his vision like writing on a book, and almost instantly he realized just what the bubble of energy was doing with his magic. Of all the spells that had to be reflected, it had to be this! The Moogles of his world - filthy cohorts of Doga and Unei that they were - had also possessed impressive powers, but to be overcome by one even for so fleeting a moment was infuriating! He had no time to be surprised though. Already the volatile stone was arcing back toward him. He would not fall to his own magic!
The first thing the warlock recognized was that he would not be able to avoid his sorcery completely. The rock was one thing, but even if he were Hasted he didn’t think he could outrun the ensuing explosion. That was why he had to focus on minimizing damage from the blast; hopefully after redirecting the solid portion of the spell. As the arcane-wrought missile of mineral closed in Xande planted his feet, sowing magic over his body and weaving a Shell. An aura of energy briefly shimmered over his body as the defense erected itself, before fading to transparency. It would not nullify the force by far, but the blow would be cushioned somewhat. That was all he could ask for. With no further fanfare the stone mass was upon him. He was ready.
As the incoming boulder pushed down on him, so too did he shove back. The muscles in his shoulders and upper arms audibly cracked as spell met hands, the entirety of his body doing what it could to absorb the kinetic force behind its flight. The very earth beneath Xande’s feet slid as he dug in, forming a set of parallel trenches in the inexplicably floating surface. Teeth ground, sweat gathered, and arms pushed with all of their might. The Shell buffer did its part, reducing the total impact to a more workable level. This could work! If he could stop the thing in its tracks, it would be a simple matter of bunting it away and reaching the outer limit of the explosion before it could take place. Yes, and then he could-
A blur of motion to his side caught Xande’s attention. Even struggling as he was his eyes widened at the sight of Zack, sword aloft and ready to attack. Why here!? The first swing cut into his arm, producing a spray of red that seemed to glow in this dark biome. The second, third, and fourth tore into his ribs. By now his stance was wavering, teeth set into a snarl of surprise, fury, and agony. He recognized this attack from before, but he had blocked it then. The fifth slice was across the shoulder, further loosening the defense against the meteor. Xande tried to call his staff but could not: he had been pushed to such an extent that it was beyond his maximum range. Six cut into the forearm, and he thought it might have chipped the bone slightly. The seventh hit raked across his back, also cutting into his cape all the while. It was too much! DON’T TRIFLE WITH ME!!
With a mighty roar the sorcerer shifted his weight, pushing into the airborne boulder from the side. Already much of its velocity was gone, and a mere redirection had become simple. It was with the very stone that threatened his life that the final strike was blocked. An explosion of sorts threatened to shove him back, rock and all, but with a final heave he instead forced it forward. Between the buffeting and the fresh wounds Xande stumbled with this final exertion, his blackened body teetering on falling face-first. The Meteor exploded long before he could.
The object itself had been somewhere between himself and Zack. Closer to Xande for sure, but hopefully the assaulting swordsman would be caught in the blast as well. The thunderous burst of pent-up energy launched Xande backwards in a tumble. He struck his back, then his chest, then his back again before he regained his senses. A hand (the left one; his right side was too cut up for that) plowed into the rock face to slow his acceleration and his feet soon did the same, leaving a trail of dust and gravel in his wake. When at last he did come to a stop it took all of his willpower not to fall on all fours, exhausted as he was between the Meteor and the sudden advance of his newfound nemesis. His breath was labored, his body gleaming with sweat and blood, but his blank stare was transfixed on the cloud of debris before him. Had he succeeded in at least harming his attacker? By focusing on the funny, oversized keybearing mouse (who he nodded back too), Montblanc hadn’t noticed the particular set of events coming straight for him. First was the spell that the silver haired had directed his way, the comet that was heading right – His little wings stopped flapping as he held his chill rod in front of him like he would a shield. He knew it wouldn’t really serve much protection though.
Since his wings were failing to keep him up anymore, he didn’t even notice that he was falling. The only thing that was on his mind was the comet coming after him. He didn’t even pay any attention the follow up attack waiting for him behind it.
Ironically enough, it was the fact that he’d hesitated that saved him from the full brunt of the comet. It did peg him though. The fur from his ears down to the top of his head were all gone from the attack, leaving a trail of raw reddish pink skin. Even his puffy little pom-pom was reduced to a mere reddish-orange orb (which was sort of its original color without any fur attached). His face though, had been protected by the chill rod which he suspected was starting to wear due to the abuse. (Something he’d normally apologize silently to the poor rod, but that was one of the farthest things on his mine at the moment.) His hands suffered a great amount of damage as well. Not to mention, he’d been largely pushed back again by the blow, spinning upside down and back towards where the red feline had once been, only to bounce back up when he’d hit the ground. The rest of the comet’s attack had hit the ground just behind him, assisting in pushing him back up towards the next set of blows from the other hume.
... which the mouse he’d defended had repaid the favor, protecting him from what could have been their finishing blow. Montblanc was also thankful that he’d been able to catch himself in time to keep himself from bumping into the mouse as well as harming either of them.
Since the blond hume had decided to gang up on him, Montblanc felt that he should return the favor. He moved away and to the side (he wasn’t sure of his stamina for flying just yet), before deciding just what spell to cast. Since most of his spells would have affected both the mouse and the blond, he knew he’d have to be careful and waited until the mouse had made his move before attacking. His chill rod began to brighten, turning bright yellow, as several bolts of lighting flew from it aimed towards the blond. Only the blond. Thundara.

Even though he had been mid-attack when she had appeared, Valerius was instantly aware of Maruelle's presence as soon as she had entered the battlefield. However, he did not let his thoughts get distracted by her entrance - no, battle was too significant to him, the most important part of his life. Even Mara could not distract his mind from the thought of plunging his katana straight through the heart of the house king. That castle had been his - well, his and Maruelle's, and together they should have still be ruling from within its halls. And they would have been, if the attack on Disney Castle had ended differently. If he hadn't have somehow been transported out of the world before he could finish his attacks on Gilgamesh. If the castle had not fallen back into the vile hands of the ones who claimed to be 'light.'
Just what made them so right and the heartless so wrong anyway?
But Valerius hardly had time to ponder such philosophical questions, and he doubted he would have given it a second thought even if he was doing nothing. However, for the moment he was in the middle of what was going to be a decisive and exciting battle - and he needed to remember that his opponent wielded a keyblade, which was the one weapon that really posed a true treat to his existence with its powers. However, that just made the fight all the more thrilling...and would make his victory that much sweeter. And it was not to be a quick fight either, as the mouse king sprang upwards at the last moment and Valerius' attack went beneath him, though the heartless skidded to a stop almost as soon as he realized that his attack met nothing.
At that moment, the mouse king had the impudence to fire some sort of ice magic at him - blizzard or whatever that spell was called, Valerius had never been much of a magic user himself outside of his illusions. He caught sight of the spell at the last moment, and only with his superhuman speed was he able to avoid being completely frozen - but he did not get off unscathed, and his left arm was suddenly encased in ice. The Heartless cursed loudly at the inconvenience as he violently shook his arm, even though he knew it would not budge the ice, but this was the same arm that he had temporarily lost use of not that long ago, and it was irritating to have such a hindrance so early in the battle.
"You're not gonna get that lucky again," Valerius spat at his opponent, his yellow eyes gleaming as a sneer formed on his features. His tone held nothing short of confidence. "And by the way - how was your mouse queen after our last encounter? Did she finally die of all those wounds?" His sneer changed into a smirk, but out of the corner of his eye he was watching Maruelle, who was approaching an old man that he had not noticed before, though the aura he gave off was strange indeed....and then he fired an attack of light arrows directly at Valerius and anyone who might be standing behind him. An idea quickly flashed into the heartless' mind when he knew he would not be able to avoid such a widespread attack from a comparatively short distance...
...and thus, he turned to take the attack with his arm still encased in ice held before him, and one of the arrows of light hit it directly. Pain from the impact and shattered ice shot through Valerius' body, but he just grinned as the ice fell to the ground and his arm was free once more - and besides, the pain only reminded him that he was still alive, and could still fight! "Hey, thanks buddy!" Valerius yelled at the man whose attack had actually helped him a bit (throbbing arm aside) and waved his now free arm quickly before turning his attention back to the mouse king. Mara could handle herself against the old man...and if she suddenly couldn't, well. He wasn't that far away, and he would know.
Time to get back on the offensive.
Valerius quickly darted behind the mouse king in a blur of movements, moving into his favourite position to attack from. He then quickly changed his blood-red katana into a different form - a weapon that looked a bit like two small double-bladed knives he could hold in the middle strung together with a heavy chain. He then attempted to throw the chain over the mouse king's head and large ears, hoping to catch him around the neck and be able to hold him from behind. If he couldn't succeed in strangling him, then hopefully he could use the blades of the knives from this close distance to finish the job with a bit more blood. This move had done him well against Gilgamesh, and he just hoped he would be able to do it again.

It had only been not more then a half hour and the battle was growing rapidly. Spells were cast left and right, physical attacks have been used, it was an all out War. Eraqus would now experience what the Keybladers of past had, a war to change the tides. In his absents the balance of the Worlds have gone too far off the scale. Worlds were turning to Darkness, others protected by the Light, and others were overrun by the Heartless. A mass hysteria had risen and Eraqus would not stand for it to continue like that any longer. He watched as his Swords of Light attack went for the one who was attacking Mickey, but wasn't able to see the outcome due to a newcomer blocking his view.
Thanks was shouted out to him, but it was not from Mickey. Perhaps his attack had accidentally hit one of his teammates, or even helped the attacker in some way. Eraqus didn't know. His thought process was soon interrupted by the female who had blocked his view and apparently she knew his name. Eraqus pondered how it was possible since he had no recollection of ever introducing himself to a broad audience outside of the Keybladers, nor to the women herself. It wasn't something to be too concerned about though. Clenching his Keyblade he was ready to attack when she had summoned her whip. Quickly he brought it behind him as he took one step forward, then stopped when he had heard her voice. Her lips did not move yet her voice could be heard, it reminded him of his time in his station of awakening with his Master.
Before he made another hasty move, like he did with Valerius, Eraqus calmed himself. Softly, but swiftly, he brought his Keyblade in front of him. He grasped it with his other hand and pointed it diagonally outward from his torso. If it was a battle of whits that she wanted, Eraqus would have no problem with it. Although he would not just stand there and let her take charge of the battle. He knew as a Master of what he had to do. Calmly he studied her, especially her whip. He remembered the whip motion she had made, yet she had not attacked him with it. Perhaps she was waiting for him to attack first, or waiting for the moment to strike. Nevertheless, Eraqus was ready for whatever was coming. He would not let himself be fooled by the Darkness. His Light would be able to shine through her shrouding dark cloud.
He started to slowly move to the side. Each step he took he alternatively crossed his left leg behind and in front the other. If he was to conquer this opponent he would have to do something distinct, something that she wouldn't expect, so that he wouldn't fall into her web of a trap. Quickly he pointed his Keyblade forward and shouted, "Strike!" The tip of his Keyblade started to glow yellow and fired out a small ball of Thunder magic. But this Thunder magic wasn't anything like the usual spell. This one was his Thundaga Shot magic which allowed the ball of thunder to track and home in at the opponent at a fast speed. After he fired off his spell he grasped his Keyblade with both hands and moved in quickly, going in for a few slashes. He had hoped if he combined tactics his tactics he would be able to get the advantage.

Post by Maurelle on Mar 8, 2011 12:37:36 GMT -5
Many things were going on around Maurelle a the current moment. However, she was able to keep her mind completely focused on the battle at hand. The horseman needed to be sure of what Eraqus was planning in that little mind of his. If she didn't pay attention, it was possible she could have ended up injured very soon.
Maurelle really wasn't much of a physical fighter. Most of her attacks came from listening to the enemies mind and keeping him at a stand-still with his attacks. One such attack that would work rather would would be her Element of Mind. She could easily control a heart of Light and force it to do her bidding. She could easily force him to stop and attack, or even to cast it on another person. Maurelle refused to put all her energy into completely controlling the enemy, just enough to move an arm or halt an advance.
With a yell from the Mouse King, all she could so was smirk. It was possible that he knew exactly what Eraqus was up against and it was possible he was trying to warn the keyblader. But, she had no interest in taking her eyes off the keyblader to check on the mouse. Valerius had the king covered. With the mouse dead, the heartless could also reclaim Disney Castle.
When Eraqus began to move, she watched and listened very closely. He seemed to have this strange notion that light would always conquer darkness. Hah, Maurelle chuckled a bit at this. Boy, was he in for a surprise. However, when Eraqus began to shift to circle, Maurelle stood her ground, eyes narrowing a bit. So, it seemed this great master wasn't in much of a chatty mood. However, Maurelle refused to move from her current position. If she did, it would allow Valerius to be left wide open to an attack from Eraqus. She refused to let that happen.
"The name's Maurelle. I suppose you aren't much of a talker?" Maurelle let out a bored sigh. "Why do I always end up fighting the quiet ones?" Yet, the silence didn't last too long after that. The moment an attack was decided in the Master's head, Maurelle smirked. It was obvious she knew exactly what he was doing. She could see exactly how fast the attack was, where it was aimed, and how quickly she needed to respond to block the advance.
Thundaga Shot. It was extremely fast and it cast a Thundaga spell which would hit Maurelle, and any enemy around her. Thankfully, her whip was equip well to handle magic attacks. Her whip allowed her to split magic in half to allow the user to dodge the attack. If she did not have the power to see into Eraqus's mind, she would not have had enough time to block the attack. With a swift move, she pulled her arm back and cracked the whip down straight in front of her the exact moment it was mere feet in front of her. With a jump backward, she avoided the Thundaga magic that was shot down. Hm. The heartless hadn't really expected her whip to set off the trap. But, it didn't matter. She had successfully avoided the first attack.
That's when she realized that Eraqus had taken advantage of her brief slip in her mind powers. She had been so focused on the first attack, she almost hadn't noticed his second attack. If she had had more time to plan, it was possible she could have countered the attack. However, she was forced to use her Mind Barrier. With a swipe of her hand, a purple shield appeared to block the keyblader's strike.
This, however, did knock Maurelle back a few feet. A frown was apparent on her face. "It seems no one has any respect for women. Not giving them a chance at a game of wits. No, it always turns into a battle of strength." With the frown still on her face, she brushed her dress off. This took no time before she was facing Eraqus again. "So... You want to continue this I suppose?"

Stoud's voice echo'd across the entire world. Even Maurelle was forced to look up at the sky and smirk at the voice. This was turning in their favor yet. ------- "You imbeciles, I do have control of all hearts. Let me show you the meaning of true fear! As your own hearts, your own darkness, turns against you!" he announced so that all present in the Dark Abyss could hear his echoing bellow of declaration, the dark energy lacing into a ball into his hand, as the moon above them trembled and shook the very existence around them. Stroud curled his fingers inward into the ball, and as he crushed the orb of shadows in his hand, a bright sphere of light flashed around all the warriors of Light. Instantly, the battle around them would disappear in a flash of light, and fading to darkness as they felt the sensation of falling. For the keybladers, perhaps keyblades would rain around them as they fell, but for every one that struggled for the Light would slow down from their descent into darkness into a stain-glass plaform glowing in neon highlights. As the only source of Light from the immense darkness around them, the platform beneath them would depict pictures of important people the closest to their hearts, as well as important iconic figures which would be important to the paths they walked in the future.
In the darkness around the platform, and perhaps their own shadow cast by the Light, the champions that endeavored the Light would soon find themselves surrounded by movements and sounds of emerging Heartless as Stroud's Dive Into The Heart confined them all within the symbolic location deep within their own hearts. --------------- (OOC: Okay guys, this is the surprise Vincent and I cooked up for all of you, and we hope you have fun with this. This is the random Dive Into The Heart phase of the battle. We wanted this battle to be like when Sora went into the little sub-area rooms in the World of Chaos boss, the final boss of KH1, to rescue Donald and Goofy. Since we don't have a giant Heartless ship to attach the Horsemen too, Stroud has commanded the Kingdom Hearts of people's hearts to return all the Light Warriors to their own Station of Awakening/Dive into the Heart. Just so everyone is clear and on the same page with this, these are the rules, for both the Light and the Dark. If you have any questions or not sure of something in general, please PM Larxene or Vincent. Light- You can create your own Station of Awakening. You don't have to be a keyblader to have one; this is your own interpretation of what the location inside your own heart would look like, or in Axel's case, the inside of your consciousness/soul. It doesn't even have to be a stain glass platform of a Station of Awakening/Dive into the Heart if you don't feel it's canon, it can just be a dark room with neon lights on the floor, whatever you like and feel suits your character. This is the creational part for you. The skies the limit, but don't stray too far from theme or what your character knows when illustrating what's in there, as this is your character's subconscious. You could even have a picture of the villain invading Heartless as a illustration on the floor sharing it, like it was with Ventus/Vanitas's Awakening at the end of BBS, but you need permission from the villain you're opposing and state it as such in your post. - Just because you have a Station of Awakening/Dive Into The Heart, obviously, this does not mean your character can get a keyblade. - This phase of fighting Heartless will only last one round. You don't have to defeat all of them; merely survive. - Going about your post, react to Stroud's surprise ability as you see fit, then just post your character diving into their Dive Into The Heart, and if your opponent controlling the Heartless hasn't posted before you to react to, simply prepare yourself for an attack or send off a power into the dark at will. Up to you.Darkness- The fun part for you guys to be creative with is your choice on what Heartless appear, as you will be controlling them to help out the staff! You can pick any lesser Heartless from the series of games you like, or if you wish, invent/create your own. Again, sky is the limit! Color-coding your Heartless species and even pictures will also help your opponent a lot with what they are dealing with, the types of Heartless can be found here. You can even make a dark Heartless version of the character of your opponent, but no copying of their signature abilities. More on Heartless powers are below. - Pick your own number of how many should appear. Five or less should be enough for both your opponent, and for you to control and keep track of. There may be an increase in number if we feel you guys can get a good handle on it. - No human/character or boss Heartless are allowed. This is the fight for the lesser Heartless, or Heartless that appear in normal fights in the game. So no Sora's Heartless, or Anti-Soras, or Xehanort's Heartless obviously. Also, don't be silly and put in non-aggressive Heartless, like the various Mushroom types, you will be judged by how well and seriously you handle your Heartless as well. If there is a canon Heartless from the series you'd like to use but aren't sure of, ask one of the admin. - Just have your Heartless do one of their known attacks. If it's a original/created one, don't have them use any powers which may be unfair or power-playing, such as possession or whatever. It should all be simple attacks, like slashing, casting etc. Just one attack per Heartless/species, so you don't overwhelm your opponent. It would help your opponent, like your abilities, to color highlight the name of the type/species of Heartless, link a picture, or bold any attacks they might have to help them understand more clearly. - You could even have a picture of yourself as a illustration on the floor of the hero of Light your are invading with the Heartless, like it was with Ventus/Vanitas's Awakening at the end of BBS, but you need permission from the hero you're opposing and state it as such in your post. - Everyone in the Kingdom Hearts raid has been transported to this Dive To The Heart phase, and the person who you engaged last in the last round is the person whom you are matched with, and the character on the side of Light's Dive To The Heart is the stage of the battle. For example, since Stroud engaged Terra last, Stroud will be controlling his Heartless in his Dive to the Heart. The rest of the match-ups if they are not clear are as follows: Light | Dark
King Mickey - Shuyin
Master Eraqus - Yazoo
- Last note, since everyone is transported to their warrior of Light's Dive Into The Heart, you cannot normally attack your opponents in any way until the following round after Maurelle has posted. Your opponent shouldn't be able to see your character either, they can be hiding far away in the depths of the darkness, but they can only see and engage the Heartless you control. At the end of your post, you can simply have your character come to and get ready to attack the Light, as they will be in real time coming out of their Dive Into The Heart as you are to resume the flow of battle normally. Questions, comments, suggestions should all be PMed or asked privately to the admin. Good luck, and have fun with this!)

Seeing the beast had vanished, the Remnant turned to Shuyin, who followed up his attack. He guessed they would take down the moogle fast enough, after that they would have the others remaining. With multiple attacking the King, he supposed that he would go first, or Zack. His comet had seemingly hit the moogle, but seeing the creature bounce back up had him thinking a bit. Truly, he was unsure what had happened underneath the comet with Shuyin's attack as well. No need to worry then, he thought calm to himself. The moogle attacked Shuyin then with a thunder spell. The several bolts he saw seemed to be a possible to take away, the Remnant quickly moved his arm in a swing which had glown up as he used an Explosion spell. A shining orb flew between Shuyin and the bolts as it exploded when the bolts came close. This to blow up all the bolts and protect Shuyin, the blast also created much of a smokescreen, so hiding Shuyin behind it. Perhaps the man had some trick he could use while not seen by the moogle. The Remnant also kept his ears on his surroundings and kept sensing the others in case they came nearer as he felt and heard Xande, Zack, Mickey, and Valerius above Door while Maurelle kept the unknown man busy. When he suddenly felt Zack's presence vanish, he started to look up, but only to hear Stroud's voice boom into this place. He could sense the Heartless in question elsewhere, but the sudden voice had him wonder what happened. Then the place changed as he now saw the unknown man only in a strange place. What is this? He questioned himself in thought as he looked around, the presences were all gone and he seemed to be able to call upon Heartless from the Darkness. While he had a summoning spell, this was different. I'll learn more later, the Remnant thought to himself as he turned his hooded face to the man in question, first this man, then I'll find Shuyin. This might be just Stroud's ability.Immediately a Dustflier, a Wyvern, and two Air Soldiers appeared. Yazoo, himself, could not move to attack, it appeared, but guessed he was unreachable or even unseen by the unknown man as well. The Dustflier moved towards Eraqus and launched himself to the ground to create a Shockwave, which could only be avoided in the air. This was why he called out the air artillery, the Wyvern spun around and attacked in a straight fast line at the man while the Air Soldiers also dived at the man. CooldownComet Shot: Limit Breaks no longer useable. Explosion: Two posts. HeartlessDustflier: Used Shockwave attack, which will cover the floor. Wyvern: Used a spinning attack to attempt ramming Eraqus. Air Soldiers: Both tried a slow dive, so would come after the two drake-like Heartless. Have fun~ Oh, and Montblanc, Yazoo wears an Organization cloak and has his head covered, so you can't see the silver hair. ;3 Just mentioning.

When the Unsent had made his lunge forward, his attack had been diverted and all together countered by his target's ally. An animated mouse with large ears, and and even larger key. Each blow deflected resonated out into the darkness, the sounds of steel whipping upon steel adding to the already intensified chaos and heightened emotion. On top of this his mysterious ally had managed to repay him for earlier, and cast a spell to counter a well positioned Thundara. The result was a violent explosion above both Shuyin and Mickey, and as the smoke began to spread the Unsent took in his opponent. He did so with a wicked smirk and a glare of aquamarine. All of this happened in the moment that the King switched from defense to offense. Shuyin had to admit that whoever or whatever this creature was, it possessed more strength than the previous Keyblader that had fallen to him on Planet-R. Once more the metallic clash rang out, this time Shuyin defending the King's single strike.
As the Unsent leaned in closer to stare into the large eyes of the King with his own, a large booming voice erupted from out of nowhere. The boasting of Stroud echoed throughout all the darkness, and as Shuyin pushed away and off the King's Keyblade, he stopped to see that everyone else had heard it as well. He looked to the heart shaped moon off in the distance, where the faint distinction of a lone presence could be glimpsed, hovering just enough feet above the other combatants below. Who in the world was the biggest player on the field right now? The potency of Darkness then began to intensify, and once the figure had crushed the orb, a flash of bright light overtook everything. Shuyin gasped for but a moment as he looked around, only to see nothing but shadow. His gaze wandered down where he would normally have seen himself, but only gazed upon a display of pyreflies. Blue eyes widened as he then looked forward with concern, only to see a bright ring of pyreflies stretching outward into the darkness, then nothing as the darkness took hold once more. So he was here, but not here at the same time...just where was here though?
An inertia feeling took hold of him as he could feel the Darkness inviting him in, instructing him to use it upon the one he so despised. It was there in his mind, a cool yet snakelike voice that called to him. "Ussse usss~" He thought for a moment about who was the glorified individual in his life who would possess such a claim, but Shuyin could only think of his burning vengeance. The Light was what he most despised right now, for resurrecting him and ending his much needed sleep with Lenne. That was perfectly fine by him, but who was he to use it on? Who was he to unleash these Heartless upon? Instantly the answer dawned upon the Unsent as before his gaze rested upon a scene slowly fading in from the Darkness. Once it had come fully into view, King Mickey's Dive lay stretched out before the presence of Shuyin's newfound existence through the Dark.
He could see the one he wished further harm upon there, the one who had intended to stop his progress by crossing blades with him. Darkness opened in corridors around the King to each of the four directions, North, East, South, and West. From their depths came a single Defender Heartless each, all pointing their large lion-like shields towards the King of Disney. They did not all attack immediately, or rather in sync for that matter. No, each Heartless took it's turn with a single attack. North attacked the King with a simple lunge forward, attempting to bite the mouse with the fangs of the shield. South followed this up with a triplet of fireballs, sprayed from the maw of it's own shield. West and East however did not attack, and merely chose to defend so as to provide North and South with the chance at a bottlenecked extermination. The results remained to be seen, but from the Darkness, Shuyin watched on to see the fate of his newest opponent. Heartless Defender x4

I await to see what your Light brings to me for I am the Key to Success.
“ It was always incredible how fast battle went by when everything was on the line. The journey the king took to get here was by far more challenging. He had his share of victories as well as defeats but his heart never gave in and in the end victory was just a battle away. Just as before he would dismiss the darkness from ruining the lives of everyone else. No longer was his goal to destroy the darkness but instead defeat those that misused it. Kingdom Hearts was something no one should have the power to grasp and misusing it would only lead to chaos. This would not happen!
Once defending his new Moogle friend, Mickey was blinded for a second at the Explosion attack. However, he still swung his keyblade toward Shuyin completely aware that his attack more than likely missed. Rubbing his eyes, Mickey quickly tried to dismiss the discolored circles blocking his full vision. Everything around him was moving too fast and his vision was now blurred. Dismissing it, Mickey looked up with the dominance of Stroud's voice taking over the field. Looking up at the blue heart, Mickey did not hear much of what he said as he felt the tug of metal clinch around his throat. The shock of it silenced the mouse without any retaliation. Once the orb was crushed the mouse's sight fell to darkness.
He was then falling. Descending slowly towards the ground and completely surrounded by darkness. His eyes open drearily to see a soft light below him. The only thing he could think was that this was his death and the end. Everything had happened so fast for the king and now he was accepting his next stage of life. But before his depressed thoughts cover his mind, he opened his eyes fully to see exactly where he was descending.
The Station of Awakening was full of all of Mickey's memories. Framed in a circle were all of Mickey's close friends from Disney Castle with smiles on their face despite what his home possible looked like currently. The center was slashed with two of his keyblades; one being the Kingdom Key D while the other was the Star Seeker. Everything else was then framed into fourths peeking through the remains of the crossed keyblade. On one fragment was Sora, Kairi, and Riku together on their island. Another was Donald, Goofy, and his wonderful wife Minnie before his throne at Disney Castle. The third section had both Master Yen Sid and Ansem the Wise back to back proudly showing off his role models. The final section had Aqua, Ven, and Terra together at the Keyblade Graveyard with a dark silhouette in the background. Once fully taking in the descriptions, Mickey's body slowly rolled itself forward and he landed softly on the Station.
Without much time to breathe, four Heartless appeared about him as he was cornered. Holding his right hand out, a flash of light engulfed his hand before his Kingdom Key came into battle. "I won't fall for tricks anymore. You will not win without a fight!" Instantly, one of the Defenders rushed towards him to attack. Mickey rose his keyblade to defend the blow and was pushed back slightly from impact. Seeing another coming his way, Mickey jumped up and over the Defender nearest him. Upon his descent, he slashed his keyblade down on the Defender hopefully destroying it. Not allowing the Heartless to retaliate on his attack, Mickey continued moving circling the field towards the East Defender. Light gathered on the tip of his keyblade again, and with a wave of it his Pearl attack flew over the shield and desecrated the Heartless easily.
Looking at the last two, a cunning smirk appeared on his face. Pointing his keyblade in between the last two, he shouted "Magnera!". A magnetic field of above average size appeared out of no where. Dark orbs encircled the field damaging all that were sucked in. Seeing the Heartless get sucked in with some difficultly, Mickey awaited to see if they would be destroyed by his attack. He had to return soon and assure that Kingdom Hearts was safe. Not just Kingdom Hearts, but his friends also. He could still feel everyone's connection and was happy to know they were fine but it was nothing compared to seeing their face. ”

Valerius had very mixed feelings about the change that had taken place in the battle - but then, Kingdom Hearts was quite unpredictable. And so was Stroud, that arrogant heartless who claimed he was their leader. Well, Valerius supposed he was - he probably was one of the most intelligent, and the most rational. And it was not like Valerius would want to lead anyone else. He as a fighter, a warrior, and his mind constantly revolved around nothing more than the next battle he would be in. Making decisions as a leader would just be monotonous and boring to him - so let Stroud have that decision.
However, his choice to send them into a Dive into the Heart was certainly an interesting one. It certainly showed that the Heartless still had a great amount of power - both here in Kingdom Hearts, and over the hearts of others in general. That was a good thing to show those idiots that thought they could overcome the darkness. However, at the same time, it ripped the battle right out of Valerius' hands and he lost total control of the situation. The other denizens of the darkness were able to control lesser Heartless to attack the warriors of the light, but Valerius abstained - and he assumed Maurelle would as well. For himself, he refused to let anyone else do his fighting for him, including the lesser Heartless. No, he would allow Stroud's little diversion to play out as he watched from the darkness with impatience, but tried to enjoy the show all the same.
With the thought of his fellow horseman, Valerius glanced in the direction of Mara, his yellow eyes focusing through the darkness and onto her. She had been talking to that old man that had sent an attack at him - another keyblader. In this lull in the fighting, he transformed back into his 'casual' appearance, his hair returning to it's vibrant orange, and the mask on his face even disappearing for the moment. He let out a deep breath he didn't realize he had been holding before gazing back at the battles taking place, rolling his eyes. This really was a bit boring.
"I just hope they leave something for me when this is all over...." he muttered, crossing his arms over his chest as he took the position of a young boy pouting about something he didn't like - which really wasn't that far from the truth. "Stroud can't have all the credit for this battle when he isn't even here."
