OOC: Reflect blocks physical attacks? Interesting… oh well I’ll play ball I suppose. Also Aqua since you said you were gonna hit me with a shotlock earlier I’m going to assume a few of those light beams are headed toward me. IC: With victory just within grasp, certain his attack would have hit its mark without fail; a sudden barrier would appear behind the target in question. How convenient it was that someone had the back of this female keyblader, no less able to react to an attack that was past the speed of sound. Regardless, the barrier would actually bounce the blade back, sending it spiraling in the air and far from the battlefield. Without his blade in hand his reaction had been the same, but now that his attack had been foiled he was now aware of the other player that had appeared to protect her ally. A smirk curved against his lips to see that it was another female, one that didn’t look too pleased about his earlier attack and was now sending a beam of light his way. His cocky smirk grew wider as he dodged the attack with a simple pivot and letting it pass harmlessly by his chest, the choice of making it completely vertical making it incredibly easy to evade. Not only that, but it was obvious that her attack would have been ranged from the distance he had created by jumping backwards, making it rather easy to predict. “Woo that was close, glad your combat ability isn’t up to par with your looks, otherwise I’d might have to break a sweat!” the freelancer taunted as he heard the gunshots being fired, his eyes quickly darting over to the source. The one firing the shots seemed to be on his side at the moment and was now being targeted by another new arrival, a rather peculiar looking fellow but that was par for the course nowadays. Everyone that dived into these situations was either trying to fulfill their own self-righteous agenda or simply insane, the freelancer and the red-cloaked warrior seeming to fall into the latter. Whatever the case was, his eyes traveled back where the blue haired girl had last been seen, noticing her absence as well as the other peculiar creature that had been nearby just moments ago. While he was interested in flir- battling with the girl that had recently attacked him, taking out the blue-haired girl was far higher on the priority list. Indeed, his job was to insure Stroud’s victory this time around, and it was quite likely that the azure-haired woman was going to attack Stroud along with Terra since she had yet to retaliate to his recent attack, nor was she attacking the gunman. Regardless, the freelancer would begin moving, keeping the other keyblader in his sights as he changed his position to look at both Stroud and Kairi. Upon getting into a favorable position far away from Kairi within a moment due to his reduced mass, the ground would tremor as if an earthquake had just hit, causing him to lose balance and most likely everyone else since it was rather unexpected. Regardless of what happened to the others though, he now had full view of the transformation Stroud had undergone, a grin plastered on his face at the thought of battling such a monstrosity. ‘Well after I take out all these chumps…’ the freelancer began to think, eyeing each one of said chumps rather quickly, ‘no reason I can’t take you on after right? I was only hired to ensure your victory against these fools not me,’ he thought before standing back up on his feet now that the tremors had stopped. As he had done so, Aqua had begun her attack, spinning around like a damn fool as projectiles were being fired about the majority seemingly after Stroud but a few coming his way as well. He quickly dived into a runner’s stance, a smirk curved against his lips as the sounds of battle echoed in the air all around them. Without another moment’s reprieve, Felix would dash forward, approaching both Terra and Aqua from behind for another attempt at a sneak attack since the girl had been dumb enough to ignore the freelancer and focus her attention on Stroud instead of leaving him to her partner. Indeed and as it was, the only one that could potentially warn be aware of Felix’s actions and attempt to warn Aqua of her impending doom was Kairi and considering all the noise from the intense battle going on it was unlikely she’d be able to hear a verbal warning. Not only that, but the likelihood of spotting Felix while she spun so rapidly was slim if not none. Regardless, the few stray beams of light that had approached him collided with him, some grazing him but a couple hitting home. They stung a tad but were easy to grit his teeth through, the move easily being one that had to stack blows to be effective and with the tiny amount that had hit him it was easily negligible. And as the little missy had finally gotten up after being knocked down by Stroud’s earlier attack, surely being disoriented and perhaps angry with her attacker, her focus would certainly be divided. It was this moment that Felix was hoping to capitalize for as she stood back up on her feet that is when she would feel a knee in her lower back, Felix having jumped forward and releasing his mass switch upon doing so. While he could have easily multiplied his own weight to increase the damage of the blow, the momentum he had behind him would be more than enough to make the blow devastating without the mass switch. Furthermore, he didn’t want his target to be blown away from him and would much rather chain his attack into a KO combo. That being noted, if the blow was successful in the way the freelancer hoped, and Aqua perhaps only stumbled forward, Felix’s outstretched arms would quickly constrict around Aqua’s neck, going for a rear naked choke as he planted his feet. If this part of his surprise attack worked as well, while choking out any oxygen the girl’s lungs possessed he would quickly whip her body around to make sure he remained facing to the only fighter that didn’t have an opponent yet, Kairi and would use Aqua as a shield if need be before she was knocked out and he could take care of the red-head, assuming she had managed to catch up ‘I just hope those two can keep their dance partners occupied… otherwise I might regret this decision to put her to sleep quite a bit,’ the freelancer would contemplate, assuming his attacks worked… otherwise who knew what would happen. OOC: Mass Manipulator: No switches used Three switches left 1 Post left to use Current Mass – Normal

There had been no response from his question. Actually, it didn’t take that long before Kairi was suddenly gone. Yazoo never really understood why people kept disappearing during these battles, but suspected there was probably something behind it. Perhaps... nahh... he didn’t feel like doing unnecessary things.
While some of his attention went to Stroud and Terra, who seem to be doing rather awfully strange things that bothered Yazoo, he did keep his concentration on the ones before him... and the guy that came at him from more or less behind.
Aqua had quickly started some kind of special attack, from what Yazoo could see, and started to get ready for whatever came, but instead the girl seemed to be making choices. So instead the Remnant did a quick turn, grabbed the guy by the leg that attempted a kick at him and let his feet go off the ground.
Using Gilgamesh’ strength in the kick to get a bit up, Yazoo spun a bit in the air as he moved his gun in his direction. “Heh,” a smirk and several bullets in the red clothed man’s direction. The Remnant felt like he could enjoy this, but he was unsure about whether he should keep fighting the Light, or turn his attention to Stroud now he’s shown to be very... dangerous.
[OOC: Blargh... Garbage post... Took me some time to get anything in at all.]

Heh... This was becoming funny to Yukimura. The heroes of Light were vanishing, just as fast as they appeared. They outnumbered them at first 3v5, with Yukimura sitting at the sidelines. The male Key Blade wielder had launched the first attack against the newly transformed Heartless. One of the men on their side, who had an undecided heart, had made his decision fight against the light, which had already made itself become very feeble to the darkness before them.
Yukimura raised his hand up and drew his sword from his back. The blade gleamed and cried out, detesting the individuals with light. Its master whispered to it, smirking softly as he did.
"Now now... Lets not be too hasty, my fang. There is one among the group... Yes, the man fighting the Heartless entity right. His darkness is seething out of him like a roaring flame, trying to claim dominance over the Light that is smothering it... Let us, 'remove', that veil, my beloved fang."
Those who were keen to sensing magic would be able to sense the increase in power from Yukimura's direction. His legs were becoming enveloped with an invisible force, distorting the image of his legs. He leaned forward and pushed against the ground, launching himself forward at tremendous speed.
"No need to worry about using up all the steps this time around... It's obvious enough that I'm as agile as this man," the swordsman thought deviously. He ignored the fact that the terrain had quickly been changing around them all. Yukimura would use every single step he had in this ability to slam the male Key Blade wielder with his current speed and weight, so that he would stake his claim upon the warrior's life.
Yukimura held his sword low to the ground and brought his left hand back and formed a fist. He shouted out, as he came within punching range of Terra, "This one is mine to take!"
If Terra was hit, he would be smacked off his feet and be sent tumbling for a while. If he didn't, then Yukimura would simply turn himself around and take him away from the now enormous Heartless. His aim was to break down the man's heart and stake his claim on it by whatever means necessary.

What the hell was going on here?
Terra’s powerful combination of light enhanced blows had actually all hit their mark and found their way into the lord of the Heartless, Stroud. Why would he step into the blows and allow them ? And then his question was answered…
The ground gave way beneath the newly formed battleground between Terra, makeshift general of the battle, and Stroud, lord of all Heartless. What did it mean? Why did he even ask the question? It meant Stroud had successfully incorporated Kingdom Hearts into his own body. Stroud WAS Kingdom Hearts! For a moment, a brief inconsequential moment, Terra felt fear for the first time since his own master was taken from him by Master Xehanort.
When Stroud reemerged, he was given a form to match the power he had obtained. The armor matched the power obtained of darkness and light, merged more masterfully than he would have ever found capable. Terra thought his power was impressive, but the power Stroud had obtained was downright terrifying.
What was fear anyway? One man’s reasonable knowledge that something isn’t favorable or safe could be a definition. However, Terra always knew that this battle would be dangerous and he wasn’t afraid then. Maybe he was afraid because he knew he couldn’t win now, not by himself anyway, and that had been his plan all along. His intention was to keep everyone else out of harm and fight Stroud by himself and save everyone else the possibility of losing their existence. How am I going to do this now? [/i] He wasn’t given time to plan accordingly, as a blast of poisonous water zoomed towards him. Terra quickly barrel rolled to the side as various shards of ice began to pelt him from all sides. It was like being hit by a fully automatic BB gun from all sides. Terra felt the sting of each shard as the realization of Stroud’s power became prominent. In every universe based on a video game, the hero always has some sort physical, mental, or emotional change to turn the odds in a more favorable condition. This time, Terra realized he pain all his friends, his allies, his family had endured in this battle. Already eight of the original ten warriors of light had exited the battle in one way or another. At least, they had taken four of the dark warriors with them, but still that left this in a definite long shot. Terra first noticed the absence of Eraqus and Ventus, the closest beings he had to family. He feared that they had lost the battle and were destroyed by Maurelle and Valerius. Next, he noticed the absence of King Mickey Mouse. Was he lost as well; was the rule of King Mickey over? Even the Princess of Heart, Kairi, had retreated. All hope fell into the hands of Terra, Aqua, ‘Artemis’, and Namine. In his mind, he saw the other three fighters defending all that was good being demolished by the Heartless, Stroud. He saw their pain, their anguish, their absolute torment, and it gave him power. It didn’t give him physical power or mental aptitude. He was emotionally ready to fight Stroud to the death. Only one fighter would leave here today, and the bronze keyblader had plans later that he couldn’t cancel. In a flash of pure light, Ends of the Earth transformed into a massive cannon. In the tip of the barrel, a sphere of light formed and ejected in a massive blast of light energy. But he wasn’t done yet; another blast soon fired from Terra’s infamous Ultima Cannon as he sought to end the battle before Stroud’s Grim Form could cause any more damage. ”Fade into the darkness you seek to dominate.”[/b] Cooldowns[/u] Ars Solum 2 posts Ultima Cannon 4 posts[/blockquote]
