The place had literally gone to chaos. Tseng was having a bit of trouble trying to keep up with all the cross-destruction that seemed to be involving him. There was a good bit of talking, and a ton of loud crumbling noises. The darkness seemed to really be having a good time with all this. Tseng had been right before not to get involved. However, the only reason he was here was for research on the reasons behind the power struggles. It proved to be a life-threatening mistake.
It wasn't long till a odd clown appeared. From his tone and dislike of their suits, it was slightly obvious that he had had a run in with other members. It was a bit of a bad thing that the clown had identified him as the leader instantly and with the fact that Tseng was more tidy pretty much proved the fact that Kefka had met Reno. Now Tseng had more reason to reprimand Reno on his appearance, he was giving the Turks a bad name. Though, if Tseng survived this, the last thing he would want to do is hunt Reno down to button his shirt.
Tseng didn't grace the clown with his name, though it wasn't asked either. Before Tseng really had a moment to respond, the clown was already casting a power. The white energy ball could only be one thing and Tseng mentally cringed at the thought of getting hit with a fully formed Holy. So, he lowered his gun, still gripping it with both hands and quickly started to move, practically jumping out of the way. Sadly, it wasn't enough. The moment the holy touched the ground it exploded, throwing Tseng squarly into one of the walls of the building. The pain that radiated from the back of his head was excrutiating and he was dazed only for a moment before pushing himself off the wall.
In his daze, he touched the back of his head with his left hand, feeling it was warm and wet. It was good his hair was black and that his suit was also black. It would hide the fact that the attack had drawn blood. Looking down, it seemed he still had his gun gripped rather tightly in his shaky right hand. He didn't have time to be losing a battle. He needed to remain calm and revavluated the situation. There were five enemies. One he would call an allie had he not been under Chaos's control. Alone, the three remaining neutrals would not be able to take him. However, there were still four other dark beings, who seemed just as strong. There was absolutely no way that a few people could win this. They needed to formulate a plan and retreat before they all ended up dead like the other people of the world.
Depressingly, it seemed his comrade Jordan had disappeared in the fray. It was smart of him to escape while he could. Sadly, Tseng was not incharge of this raid group. Ysera had recruited him and the young woman really needed to figure out if they should cut their losses now and leave or not. Hopefully she would realize the odds and signal a retreat. Until then, he had to deal with the clown and Vincent.
"Leviathan.... I am in over my head". He stated quietly to himself. It was only now that he had noticed Vincent. It seemd the creature within him had turned it's sights on the Director and attacked. Thankfully, the Holy had actually shot him far enough away to actually have avoided Vincent's attack. That was rather fortunate. His eyes shuffled between the floating clown and Vincent.
It seemed that the only thing he could do was try to keep their attention so the others could do what needed to be done. "Sorry, Valentine...." He stated, raising his steadied hand again to shoot toward the Chaos-controlled man. Once he fired off a handful of rounds, he quickly casted Earth - Quake 3 in the direction of Kefka. It wasn't much if the clown managed to fire off a Holy, but it was better then nothing.
It was a nasty materia that would hopefully trip Kefka up, maybe even injure him. The blast was cast and the earth responded immediately. It circled under Kekfa's zone and quickly blasted out from underneath the clown. Right after the attack, the earth corrected itself. With the small amount of dirt and dust in the air from the stone, it was hard to tell if it had made contact or not. He would have to wait and see. ---- Self-Added Cooldowns [Earth] - One Post Cooldown

As time progressed, the situation grew more and more bleak for the Warriors of Nuetral. First was the arrival of Emperor Mateus, who immediately summoned two hellspawn to do his bidding. Next was the arrival of Marilith, the embodiment of Fire on this world. They all attacked Laguna, but somehow one after the other the gunman manages to avoid his demise. Unfortunate, though naught but a distraction. Kefka had barely even noticed the arrival of his allies, caught up in the blood lust of battle. Yes, soon they were going to neutralize the neutral, destroy everything! And there was nothing these fools could do about it! Now, it was time to see the damage he’d done to the suit. Hopefully he hadn’t broken his new toy, it would be such a kill joy if the boss was so fragile.
The Genocidal Jester didn’t get a chance to see the results of his handiwork, however. Racing from seemingly nowhere came Jordan, the man Kefka had been hoping was brought to the slaughter, to tackle him hard into the cold stone floor of the castle. Kefka initially let out a growl of pain, though it was nothing compared to what he would have suffered had Laguna’s laser that passed over them would’ve hit him. In a sense, the Turk had saved the jester... And it would cost him his life. Setting his eyes upon Jordan, his scowl turned into a grin and he grasped firmly at Jordan’s coat to try and keep him from escaping what was to come.
“Hohoho! Why hello my friend, it’s so nice of you to join us! I was so hoping that you’d come here to play, I owe you for that punch back in Order’s Sanctuary you see. And now here you are, dropped into my lap! LITERALLY!! I would be a fool not to take advantage of this wouldn’t I? Yes, yes I would. Now it’s time to break you, my dear toy, sorry but I only hurt you because you make me. I really liked you, I did! You’ve got guts! You would’ve been so much more fun on the side of Darkness!” Kefka’s eyes set right into Jordan’s own, filled with the warning of malicious, murderous intent that was to come. He could almost see, almost smell the fear reeking from this man. Oh, he was going to make it all better... Make it all go away.
“Look, you’re flushed! Aw, what’s wrong? You mad? Then why don’t you COOL DOWN!!” Kefka screamed at Jordan, his hands glowing blue before he cast Scatter Spray Blizzaga, the large block of ice forming in-between his hands as it would drive into Jordan’s chest should the Turk not escape, and forced him out of Kefka’s grasp. It paused, as if hesitating before it shattered into countless shards towards the Turk from point blank range. The force of the spell would send him rocketing back towards Tseng, hopefully sending a message to the director that playtime was over. Kefka was getting serious.
“Now then, with THAT nuisance out of the-” Kefka began to say as he stood up, dusting himself off before Quake 3 was cast upon him. Kefka was shot upward from the spell, the Earth of the attack slamming hard into his chest and knocking the wind out of him. As it subsided Kefka landed hard onto the ground with an angry “Umph!, before screaming out in anger at being attacked so sneakily, so indirectly! He glared towards Tseng as the smoke cleared, certainly he was the force behind the attack. If he thought he was going to get away with it, he was mistaken.
“Cowards, fools and yellow! That’s what all you suits are! Can’t even attack someone head on, have to resort to cheap tricks out of nowhere, or from behind to do any damage! But that’s fine by me, fine by me I say! Because now you have my full, undivided attention... Now that your lackey is out of commission!! Oh, doesn’t that eat you up? Yet another person you could’ve saved! But you didn’t!! Why? Cus you’re nothing! You’re lower than lower than dirt!! In fact... You’re dead...” Kefka’s grin darkened as he bared all his teeth, drawing his arms in close while he rose to hover above the ground while he cast Forsaken. A white circle of magic formed beneath him, and from it rose another that went through Kefka and into the air before it began its trek towards the Turk Director. From it dropped white orbs of magic that erupted in brilliant explosions upon contact with anything it touched: be it bodies, the ground, walls, whatever. Closer and closer the explosions got to Tseng, Kefka aiming to close off any possible hope of escape and finish this once and for all.
And this was all just a warning of what was to come. You see, Gaia was next...
