Although time appeared to be slow for the freelancer, time was speeding up for the dark angel as she kept walking away from the red-head. Selena was partially leaning against the wall for support as the fatigue from being awake for three days and two consecutive battles with Stroud then the Heartless were finally catching with her. It was her stubborn mind and strong will that kept the lonely angel awake at this very moment. Selena has done her unintentional job as 'Felix's therapist' for the day and intends to return to her role as a keyblade apprentice to Master Xehanort by searching for her partner, Night.
As the lonely angel walked away, she had no idea of what the red-headed boy was planning in terms of getting her to stay but was sure that whatever it was, it would not work on her no matter how logical or ridiculous it might be. The dark angel felt her leg getting heavier with each step meeting the cobblestone, but she kept her duty as a keybearer above the natural need to sleep and her promise to protect her home world and twin sister above that. If the lonely angel could, Selena would risk everything she had to protect her family and her home world, despite everything that had previously happened to her there. Any modern distractions that a 'normal' woman would worry about would only weigh her down.
When freelancer, known as Felix, was suddenly in front of her, the dark angel stops and narrows her eyes at the red-head as she listened to his proposition. The nagging voice in the back of her mind told Selena's Heart that he was right and that she should be getting some rest, but the dark angel mentally shook her head and pushed the voice further back into the darkest corner of her mind right next to a certain cage. 'Artemis' analyzes the situation at hand and knew that she couldn't push the freelancer aside without accidentally killing him (Falling off the tower is very bad.) so an alternate route was needed.
"I appreciate your concern, but you're wasting your time." states 'Artemis' coldly as she carelessly attempts to open a Corridor of Darkness behind herself. However instead of the normal black-violet corridor appearing to whisk her away, an ice-like pain was felt inside her Heart from overworking herself for the past few days, and being caught off guard by it, the dark angel grimaces as her right hand reflexively clutches her chest in the area where her Heart should be. Her vision starts to swim as her exhausted state finally does her in. The dark angel took a shaky step forward before she passes out literally in front of the freelancer.

As the freelancer made his last attempt to appeal to the keybearer, his mind began to wander as it had been the entire day. His thoughts were now centered on his own condition, the crippling exhaustion that threatened to make him collapse at any moment. Indeed, he was being a tad hypocritical now and if he didn’t find somewhere to sleep himself soon then he’d probably be falling off the tower when his body ignored his orders to stay awake. His eyes drooped a tad at the thought, smiling mentally at the thought of precious sleep but before he could ponder it any longer, the keybearer spoke her reply, a reply that was much to to the dismay of the freelancer. Damn you’re stubborn Artemis, the freelancer thought briefly as he sighed lightly about to give up. Yet again though before he could contemplate that for even a second, the keybearer preempted him once more as she suddenly grabbed her chest, the freelancer’s eyes widening in shock, “Artemis!” he exclaimed in surprise as she took a step forward before falling over. The freelancer received a burst of adrenaline upon seeing this, his body moving without hesitation to catch the keybearer before she fell over face first. Or worse over the edge, the freelancer mused before shaking his head and banishing the thought. He quickly looked back at her face, the exhaustion evident on her face and he’d be amazed if that same look wasn’t on his own. Regardless, she was out like a light at the time being and it was highly likely she wouldn’t be waking any time soon lest someone disturb her slumber. Not wanting to do such a thing the freelancer gently shifted her body to carry her to the best of his abilities, a little irritated about the wings that were proving troublesome. Heh even asleep you’re a handful but… you got a cute sleeping face so I suppose that makes up for it if only a little, he thought as he brought her over to the other side of the clock tower slowly but surely. He then proceeded to lay her down gently, keeping her head elevated with one hand as he figured cobblestone would not be the most comfortable of pillows. Regardless, he would then begin to unbutton the collared shirt he had on over his undershirt, taking it off as he switched to using his knee as a pillow. As he had done so, a cold gust of wind came by, causing the freelancer to shiver very lightly but not enough to disturb the keybearer he was becoming an impromptu pillow for. Impromptu blanket soon enough to it seems, he noted mentally as he shifted over behind the girl before lifting her up such that her head rested on his chest. He yawned deeply as his legs sprawled out underneath, throwing his shirt over her before his right hand went to his pocket, pulling out a piece of a crumbled up receipt for some coffee he had earlier in the day. In his other pocket was a pen that he pulled out with his opposite hand, pressing the paper against his right hand as he tried to write on it. “You… got.. a cute… sleepy face ^_^ -Felix (Now the #1 Impromptu Pillow of Radiant Gardens)” The freelancer wrote on the note with barely enough space, saying the words under his breath as he did so before placing the note in between her fingers much like when he had given her his card. At the thought the freelancer wondered if she still had that card but dismissed it rather quickly as his body began shutting down rapidly. He let out a small “hmph” as it did so, yawning heavily one more time as he wrapped his arms around her waist, figuring it’d keep the shirt pinned down from any other gust of winds, And on the off chance… she’s a sleep walker…, he began to mumble in his own thoughts but before he could finish the sentence in regards to her safety, the freelancer drifted off to sleep, a faint smile curved against his lips.

When Selena had passed out one would suspect that if Felix had not caught her, she would be dead either caused by splitting her head open on the stone ground or even by falling over the edge. If the dark angel was awake, she would not have expected the freelancer to catch her. but rather the opposite. 'Artemis' meant it when she had suspected that the red-head would push her off on the off-chance if she did fell asleep or in this case, pass out. This was his opportunity to prove to the distrusting angel that he wasn't her enemy. It was close to the early afternoon when the winged woman had finally woken up to the sound of a heart beat. Groggily, Selena frowns at the strange sound and slowly opens her eyes to discover that she was safe in the arms of the freelancer. She quickly glances up to find that Felix was asleep. ...He wasn't kidding... thought 'Artemis', sighing as she lifted an hand to palm her face only to discover the receipt in between her fingers just like the when Felix had given her his business card. Curious, the dark angel unfolds the paper and when she read the simple note, literally facepalms to hide a faint pink tint on her face. It didn't take long for her to regain her exposure and to steal the pen from Felix while it was still in his hand to write a quick reply onto the receipt. Thanks for not pushing me off the tower. Figuring that the freelancer would know it was from her, Selena left the unsigned and folds the small piece of paper before placing it in between his figures. The winged woman carefully removes his arms that around her waist as she tried her best not to disturb his sleep. Standing up, Selena then neatly folds the shirt that he had used for a blanket and places it on his lap. The black angel starts to walk over to the ledge and was soon standing on the ledge almost dangerously. She glances back at the freelancer. "Thanks." states 'Artemis', assuming that the red-head would not hear her thanking him for helping her out. She leans back and soon 'fell' backwards. However, the fall was short-lived as her ebony wings soon spreads out to take flight. Selena has started her search for Night, fellow apprentice to Master Xehanort. Selena has Exited the Thread

Dreams... quite a peculiar thing aren't they? Indeed, they always occurred at random, not always happening when you fall asleep nor did one always remember them. They could warn one of their impending doom if they were a psychic, or they could just allow them to fulfill their wild fantasies. Whether it was to be the richest man in the world, to achieve world peace, or maybe just a fight an army of bear ninjas and defeat them single-handedly, anything could happen. The freelancer currently sleeping hardly ever had them and quite honestly had no idea when he last had one. Yet right at this moment he was and on his face was a goofy smile, the kind of one a person only got when dreaming about someone like.
"Artemis," he whispered softly just a moment before Selena had waken up. Despite her efforts not too, soon after she had placed the note in between his fingers the freelancer had been woken up. While he wasn't fully awake, his eyes did open slightly watching as the woman walked toward the ledge of the clock tower. It was there she would steal a glance back at the freelancer, perhaps not aware that he was awake as she said but a single word of thanks. Before he could even hope to respond (or awake fully), the keybearer jumped off the ledge, his eyes widening at this. He had begun to tell his body to move but before it had gotten up the distinct sound of wings flapping would be heard as she took to the skys. The freelancer smirked at this, a small "hmph" escaping his lips as he shook his head.
"Jeez way to scare me there Artemis," he said to himself as he pressed his right hand against his face. Upon doing so was when he felt the touch of paper against his skin, his expression slightly confused as he pulled his hand back and opened the receipt. On the other side of it was another message written, one that after being read caused the freelancer to chuckle lightly. He shook his head once more looking toward where Selena had taken off, smirking lightly at the wording in her message.
"So essentially you're telling me," he started, a snicker escaping his lips before continuing, "thanks for not being a murderer? Artemis you really need to work on how you thank people," he commented picking himself up along with his neatly folded shirt. He quickly threw it on as he yawned loudly, while having slept a little still felt rather exhausted. After stretching himself out as well and beginning to head to the exit, the freelancer's thoughts began to wander like they normally did and decided to recollect on the dream he had just moments ago. His cheeks tinted red rather quickly at the thought, the freelancer closing his eyes as he palmed his face and shook his head.
"I can't believe I had that kind of dream... I really need to find a tavern, I need a drink," he said in an embarrassed tone still not able to get over the fact that he might just be in...
