(*face melts* >.<))
Flying debris and a nice size hole in the ground later, there was a clang and then sparks from Oblivion as a black brick wall appeared from the blasted mass that Roy used to protect himself. To the strike to the face, Roxas found his keyblade grabbed once again and the his own momentum turned against him as Roy hurled him out of the hole and away from him. Unlike before Roxas was able to stop himself from slamming into anything as he hit the ground and slid some distance away, but came to a stop with no damage being added to him. As he stood, he focused on Roy coming out of the hole. His eye brows raised slightly with surprise at what he saw. With his bottom half a larger version of the Magnum Loader’s wheel, a strange chainsword for an arm and three heads protruding from his back, Roy came out looking like a true monster now. Shaking away the surprise, Roxas focused on the insane attack that followed the exclamation of dinner time. Focusing, Roxas could do nothing except react to the attacks. First the heads. As the heads came from the left and right. Roxas’s keyblade slammed into each one blocking them effectively enough while trying to slice the heads off at their…umm…necks I guess. Anyway, as he battled the said heads, he noticed that Roy was coming at him pretty fast. When the guy swung that chainblade a second later, Roxas moved his blade to block once more causing sparks to come off the keyblade as the blade tried to cut it in two. As soon as the swing was made, Roxas saw Roy coming at him with a wheel kick. Pushing the chainblade away with all his might, he barely escaped the wheel as he hopped back. It was close enough to cut a hole in his pants, but thankful no harm came to himself. Once the danger had passed, he moved forward, aiming his blade at Roy with first a stab followed up by a horizontal swing at the monster’s chest.
Whether or not the blows had been successful was yet to be seen; however, Roy would find himself with another problem. From behind and the right came two more slices at the guy from the two Samurai Nobodies that had returned to the field to help out once again. Roxas who was outnumbered with the limbs was glad to have them back. Now if only he could keep them alive long enough to do some damage to Roy.

Hey, let's do this in order. Otherwise, things will get far too complex in a hurry. So, our heads of monster, which lashed out first. Yeah, they weren't getting THAT close. Wolves strike with the fangs first, and these big heads had big fangs. Because of this, and because of reflexes, Roxas would whack them at about the side of the head when he fought against those heads. They were also keeping Oblivion away from the eyes. After all, they were essentially the distraction for the big hurt, which was to be the other things in play there. Now, for the meat and potatoes... Roxas managed a palpable block there, but that there Keyblade wasn't going to break the rotating teeth of that piece of hardware. The chainsword kept on the pressure like a pro up until Roy's wheel-kick maneuver that forced the Nobody back. It was almost as if he didn't want to be ground up into pieces... Heh. Well, there's no accounting for taste. After all, eating Nobodies isn't all that good for your health. They're nothing but empty calories! Now, the Keyblader came forward again and Roy grinned. But as he reacted, turning his armored shoulder into the stab and knocking aside the blade with his arm, the two demon heads had perked up at something and... "Not this time, clone-boy!"The beauty of forming entire monstrous heads is that they have everything that goes with the territory. They have those impressive jaws, yes, but also eyes, ears, and a nose as well. Now...Nobodies did not HAVE a smell, unless they were like Roxas, and they really didn't make much sound either. Although, they had to make the sound of motion, surely. And as for seeing...well, you get the idea. Two Samurai, two heads snapping and pushing into them with no priority higher than knocking them away. They didn't have to do much... BAMF!Just enough. Given enough room, several figures appeared suddenly. Roy had been keen on keeping this one-on-one for the fimale, but apparently the boy's servants had other ideas. Shame, really. Oh well, no worries. He had an answer. Five Defenders surrounding the two Samurai. Yup, Defenders again. Got a sword problem? Hire a shield. Incidentally, do know of the imfamous Tortoise Shell Defense, right? This is an inversion of that maneuver. Defender shields clang forwards until they ring against each other on the fringes, and then the shield mouths snarl and give off simultaneous ice breath attacks. The Defenders won't be hurt. They're shielded. The Samurai, however... Well, let's move onto a more pleasant topic: Roy. The demon heads probably got hurt or were even reduced to stumps. He didn't care. those limbs reshaped into big long spikey whip-flails on Roy's shoulders. They swept forward, attempting to lash out - literally - at Roxas or wrap around parts of him and grab purchase...so that Roy could come in for an overhead chainsword swing and try cutting the boy in half...even if it meant cutting his own shadow-limbs part way through! -------------------------------- Dread Strike - Job's finished. Liquid Shadow - Part Duex! Summon Heartless! - Spawn more Overlords! Defenders 1 Through 5 - SPARTANS! PREPARE FOR GLORY!

Things were beyond control at this point and Roxas was mainly running off determination and reacting using instinct. The monster heads were whacked away, giving the Nobody time to deflect the chainblade and barely dodge the wheel. When he attacked, Roy only grin and knocked the blade aside with his armored shoulder. Feeling the effects of exhaustion, Roxas took a few steps back with recoil of the block. He caught his balance easily enough, hearing Roy call him some name, but the words really didn’t register in his mind that was in a slight haze at the moment. He saw two of the monsters head knock away the Samurai Nobodies not really harming either. In reaction to the heads, the Samurai had lashed out at them, slicing them at the neck and reducing them to nothing more than stumps.
Perhaps they would’ve made another attempt to attack Roy; however, a new problem...correction, an old problem return. Defenders, 5 of them this time, surrounded the two Samurai Nobodies and faced their gnashing shields at the pair. As if sensing the threat, the pair moved in opposite directions and jumped as high they could as the ice attack was fired. The attack missed one completely as it gracefully flipped over the shielded foes and landed on the other side. The other was caught only slightly by the blast taking some damage to the leg as it landed on the opposite side of its ally...not as graceful, but at least it was still alive and able to fight. The pair looked at each other for a moment, as if they were staring into a mirror. Through silent communication the pair formed a plan and then mirroring each other, quickly moved around the Defenders aiming as many strikes as they could at the creatures' exposed backsides before they turned back around. How many they could destroy, who knew?
In any case, Roxas was not concerned with the Samurai. He trusted them enough to keep the Defenders at bay. Instead, he focused on the problem that was Roy. Those monster heads from before, reformed and became spiky whip like tentacles on Roy’s shoulders before coming at him. Roxas tried to dodge, but when you are as tired as he was, dodging didn’t come so easy. One missed, but the others managed to wrap around his left leg and arm, causing to the keybearer to become a bit off balance. Hopping to keep his balance, he tried to swing his blade at the tentacles, but the one that had missed had circled around and caught his right arm and so our poor little Nobody was caught in a painful web that was beginning to cut into his skin as he tried to escape. Could the situation get any worse? But of course it could.
With Roxas trapped, Roy had decided it would be a good idea to use that chainblade of his. Roxas saw the chainblade coming down upon him and did what most people would do if they were about to be sliced in half. He tried to get away. Pulling to the left with all his might he tried to get the whip to stretch with his movement. It was a painful event with those spikes, but at the moment Roxas didn’t care. He kept pulling until he was able to get enough distance between himself and the on-coming blade. The closeness of the attack was uncomfortable to say the least. He could feel the wind of the strike and the sound the thing made as it sliced through the tentacles on his left side was a little too loud for comfort. In any case, as the tentacles released him he was able to get some distance between himself and Roy…well as much space as the tentacle holding his right arm would give him. Releasing his keyblade, the blade vanished before reappearing in his left hand. Taking careful am, the Nobody swung at the tentacle that still held him trapped until he was finally free of it. Staying dangerously close to Roy, he took a stance that resembles Sora’s battle stance exactly. He held the handle of his keyblade with shaky hands, his eyes focused on Roy despite the way he felt. He may have been hurting badly and was exhausted beyond the point of thinking straight, but the Nobody would not relent, even when he knew he would lose in the end. His stubbornness and pride simply would not allow him to go down without a fight. Make your move, Heartless. ________________________________________ ~Cooldown~

Things were getting serious out here. The Samurai survived the latest deathtrap, apparently. The idea was pretty much of Roy's devising when he called upon the Heartless. That was the trouble with most basic Nobodies. They could be clever too. So, once they leapt over the Defenders and away from the ice spray, naturally the Defenders would be like "Hey!" and get re-oriented. During this time, the two Nobodies went on the offensive. Mr. I'm-At-Full-Health got away with slicing his first victim to death. Mr. Wounded was a hair too late from his harder landing. They now faced a proper use of the Tortoise Shell Defense...minus the top, unfortunately. They couldn't really do much about that, but they did as much as possible, and the two Samurai would be targeted by shield-slams, and then a turn in which the two that hadn't been facing them start blasting away with fireballs!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch face-off between Roy and Roxas, it was now time for Roy to make his move. Well, his moves. That's been the beauty of these limbs. Coordinated attacks and multiple attacks. It hadn't been pretty with the whips, though. They hung with parts cut off of them, unfortunately, the removed sections dissolving away. That was power, dammit! It cost energy to make that mass. It was already bad enough that the heads from before were cut off, but for this to continue...? Roy took it as a personal stain against his ability for that to happen frequently. It hurt for that stuff to get hacked off. He was toughing through the sensation of pain that he'd felt in the heat of the moment, but it was annoying him now. He should've been able to stop himself from accidentally freeing Roxas, but his actions had been too swift and final for him to make the two shadows pass through each other harmlessly. Even then, his grip would've lost integrity anyway. You see what he has to deal with sometimes?
So, now the boy waited for his next onslaught. What to do...? What to do...? Ram him? Cut him? Envelop him? This required something special. He was wiry, skilled in combat, and focused. He didn't know what to expect, but he was expecting something. Sometimes, that's all you need. What Roy didn't wans, though, was Roxas expecting what he actually dished out. It was decided... The limbs of the shoulders dissappeared into Roy's body and flowed once more out of sides. They were big monstrous Darkside arms on either side, coming together fast in a manner that might crush Roxas if he didn't jump. Roy wanted him to jump, but even if he didn't the chainsword flowed away from his left arm and became a big spikey mace on a thick tendril that attempted to ram directly into the Nobody. (It was attached to Roy's chest now.) It would work best if he DID jump so that Roxas would have much trouble in avoidance or defense mid-air. And then, the wheel came off of Roy's legs to stick to his back and elongate up and around...because this limb was now ending in a big scythe-blade. And after the initial moves, it was Roy's intentions for that scythe to come down upon Roxas in a vorpal manner, just to make sure.

The Samurai had managed to survive, taking down one of the four Defenders and only damaging a second. Defenders were pretty fast at turning around despite their size, so it was no surprise that two of them came at the pair with shield slams. Instead of trying to dodge the blows, the Samurai moved forward and ran up the shields. That’s right. Ran up the shields. With careful timing the pair managed to avoid damage from the gnashing faces as they ran over and on top of the larger Heartless that were back to back. As they moved, they lashed down at unguarded heads before landing on the ground outside of the ring of shields that defended their foes backside well. Whether or not, the Defenders were hurt or destroyed did not matter to the Samurai Nobodies as a second attacked came their way from the two Defenders that had no participated in the shield bashing a few moment ago. Running in opposite directions, the two Samurai kept themselves out of range of the fireballs. Well at least one did.
The one at full remained unharmed; however, the lightly injured one was a bit slower and managed to get grazed in the back by a fireball it just could not dodge completely. The blow was a minor one, so the injured Samurai did not go down as it kept moving. The pair let the Defenders keep firing at them, leading them away from the well made defense. As the one at full health kept its Defender focused on it and dodge the continuous fireball attack, the other Samurai Nobody reversed the way it was running and slipped through the slight gap that had been caused when the firing pair had moved to get better aim. As a result, its Defender turned, still firing, back towards its friends and their exposed backs.
With any luck, the creature would do damage to its friends and maybe even destroy some as it continued fire at the Samurai. Once there was a break in all the firing, the injured Samurai slid to a halt and took its position, slightly leaning forward and focusing its energy on on the crowd of Defenders. Knowing what its ally was doing, the Samurai at full health charged straight for its target, determine to keeping the Defender's attention on itself. The problem here were numbers, but whatever happened next would just have to happen. As long as said Defenders weren't interferring with the madness on the other side, then the Samurai were doing their job well.
Meanwhile, Roxas was having trouble of his own. His mind wasn’t understanding what was going on with Roy’s body, but at least he could still react to what Roy did. It seemed like the Heartless was beginning to get annoyed or ticked off by something that Roxas did not care to try to figure out at the moment. He kept his eyes on the limbs as they began to shift and change once more. First came the giant Darkside arms that tried to crush him. Having no choice in the matter, Roxas did jump to avoid the crushing blow just as Roy had wanted. When the mace came from the Heartless's chest a second later, Roxas used the arms for extra boost and launach himself over the thing. From there came the sycthe swooping down upon him. Use to having to deal with multiple things while air born, Roxas was able twist himself to the left, causing the scythe to miss him by inches. With the danger out of the way, Roxas let gravity take over and fell back towards the limbs, aiming a heavy downward strike at them. He hoped at the very least he could destroy the scythe and mace with the blow. The arms were another matter entirely. Limbs destroyed or not, Roxas landed back on the ground and pushed himself towards Roy, closing the gap between them as he brought his blade in for a horizontal swing. Blocked, dodge or not, he would drop to the ground, and attempt a sweeping kick to knock Roy off balance. Following the sweep, the Nobody would stand straight once more and bring a second downward slash upon the Heartless, hoping to damage him in some way.
Sucessful or not, Roxas was done playing nice with the Heartless. He was going to do his best to shred the guy, tired or not. ______________________________________________________ ~Cooldown~[/u]
