The year Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI were executed.
The year the National Assembly was formed.
The year of the Notre Dame Massacre.

Six weeks after the execution of Marie Antoinette, 120 dead bodies were found behind
the Notre Dame de Paris, all drained of blood, all not bearing a single scratch. Nobody
had heard a sound throughout the night, and although the Assembly tried to keep this
under wraps, word soon got out and panic spread. All 120 people were murdered by a
breed of creatures that were meant to stay in the shadows of myths.

Vampires.

The officials were in denial. After all, what is one supposed to do to stop a fairytale?
A small group of young French citizens formed a group they called the Slayers,
created to hunt down these creatures and kill them. But what they hadn’t anticipated,
was that their attempt to make things better, would make things so much worse.

Because when we’re gone, who will deal with
