The year is 2015. Technology has made huge leaps in the past five years, and this is never more evident than with the part-cyborg Inspector Gadget.
Severely injured in the line of duty, the inspector was placed in the 'Gadget Program', where he was fitted with a metallic skeleton along with an assortment of various appliances that he can utilize as part of his police duties.
Inspector Gadget lives in Metro City with his niece and ward Penny, a troubled young teenager, affected by the death of her parents.
Metro City is a city corrupt by the organization known as MAD, run by the infamous Doctor Claw, a mysterious man whose only emotional attachment seems to be to his ever-present cat.
This is Inspector Gadget as we’ve never seen him before.
