Zidane had been on the planet called The Land of Dragons for a short time and he was already comfortable. By comfortable it ment that he hadn't got into trouble or bugged anyone yet, although he had come close. Walking into the camp Zidane had a half confused yet optimistic look on his face as a wind whistled through the gaps between the tents. Looking over the far fence from where he stood he saw the top of a mountain, it looked a promising place to maybe get a look out over the land and see if there was anything going on.
"Nah, snap out of it, it's too high anyway..." Zidane said walking through the camp, and as he passed a tent a man was walking out with a friend, Zidane accidently bumped into the man. "Hey kid! Watch it!" Said the man, shaking his fist. "Whoa hold it, it was a mistake." Zidane said, trying to calm the short yet very angry man down. "Well mistakes don't cut it with me!" The short man had drawn quite a crowd of people who looked good and annoyed that someone had walked into the camp and had apparently caused trouble.
Soon there was a full on brawl and Zidane was dodging and weaving all over the place, trying not to get aquinted with the fist of a soldier. Jumping backwards to avoid a punch he grabed the side of the tree and scrambled upwards watching tents, equipment and tables go everywhere as the men fought. Zidane sighed and hung his legs off the edge of the branch, putting his elbow on his knee and his head resting on his hand, "You know, I bet I get blamed for this."

Having been previously up in the mountains, Vincent decided to check out the lower parts of the land he had seen from the summit. He had walked through a village, which hadn't seemed that interesting, and after wandering through a canyon he found himself at an army camp. It seemed the camp had been set up to repel invaders or some such.
With his vampire-like ability, Vincent had avoided detection by jumping up into a tree at the first sign of someone walking into the camp, thinking he may be identified as an invader because of his strange other-world clothing. But the boy who had walked into the camp looked just as out of this world as he did, especially with that bizarre monkey-like tail that was waving around behind him. He watched cautiously as the young man bumped into someone and started a fight, then retreated up into the tree where he had been hiding.
"Shhh." he shushed Zidane as he noticed his presence, sitting on a tree branch above him, watching the battle below. He had never met the blondie before, but he was sure that if he didn't want to get himself discovered, he would whisper in the same low tone as he was about to. "They don't know we're here." he reassured him, his golden eyes falling back to the wrestling match among the Chinese soliders below.

Getting comfortable Zidane was watching the various people fight, it wasn't a pretty sight seeing the soliders punch each other, most of them had DEFINATELY seen better days and were obviously veteran brawlers. Although the humour was ripe with the armour on the men causing the to move slowly and even trip over themselves.
Then just as Zidane was getting comfortable to be in the tree for quite some time he heard a voice above him, he jumped in surprise and fell backwards off his branch but managed to avoid hitting the floor and being seen all thanks to his tail grabbing the branch itself. Hauling himself back up he looked above him.
"Whoa...seriously its not polite to sneak up on people you know," Zidane said scratching the back of his head, the guy looked really REALLY out of place, dressed in red and with creepy eyes, he looked more like a vampire than a human, Zidane could tell he definately not from around here, he couldn't be, "So what brings you to a tree in a foriegn land?"

He watched as the boy acted surprised and fell out of the tree; however, his concerns were naught and his suspicions were proved at the same time when he caught himself from falling to the ground with his prehensile tail. So it's not just my eyes decieving me, he thought to himself.
"I was already here; it's not my fault if you're exceptionally unobservant." he informed him, amusement in his tone to prove he wasn't being rude. "Exploring; looking for people." he curtly summarised.
He looked at the monkey-man. "You're not from this world obviously, either. May I ask the same?" he inquired curiously, looking away from Zidane to keep a watchful eye on the fight still in progress amongst the solider's below.

~Great! I'm exceptionally unobservant! Well I suppose I have a habit of not looking where I'm going~ Zidane thought to himself, he was a bit freaked by Vincent's appearence of the way he spoke, it was like he was here to carry out his purpose with a skill that could only be described as perfect.
"Well I'm looking for a friend of mine, a little mage with a pointly hat," Zidane put both palms of his hands on the branch and leaned back, looking up at Vincent with a half smile, "and since I'm looking I thought I should take some time to explore...seems we are after similar things."

"And maybe you can get me off of this branch while you're talking to him, Vincent."
Above the two of them was a mangled stuffed Moogle with a black and white cat perched on it, watching the two with eerie gold eyes. The cat was a little hard to understand, it's accent thick and rough, most certainly not from around here. The feline climbed down to Vincent, perching next to him to look at Zidane before glancing back up at it's "valiant steed".
"The trajectory was just perfect the almost completely obliterate the moogle."
The cat muttered something about damaged sensors as it stretched, cat-like, on the branch. Before it stopped stretching it twitched a bit before stopping as it started to move in closer to Zidane, seemingly studying the new person with interest. Only about half of the earlier conversation had been recorded, due to the damage received from the fall into the tree. Cait Sith hadn't been controlled until the tail end of the speaking, so the creature's controller really didn't know what was going on.
"It seems his A.I. was damaged in the fall, so I'm controlling him manually. I really didn't think the transporter would actually work. Unfortunately, it's too damaged to use again so I may have to leave this one here."
He looked back up at Vincent with a twitch of that tail (a remnant of the A.I. it seemed) before seating himself next to Zidane with a curious look. It was a pity he had missed most of the conversation.

"You did a fine job on getting down on your own; besides, this poor boy probably has enough to comprehend having just graced my presence, without me having to explain your true nature." Vincent answered back to the cat, as odd as it seemed to the young man that was watching.
He wasn't concerned so much with his report about the damaged model; he knew that wherever he was controlling it from, he had countless clones of them at his disposal. That was one of the handy things about the mechanised cats; he didn't have to concern himself with his safety as much as others. "This is this year's newest model?" he humored, glancing over the robot, then turned to the adolesent primate he just met. "This is an assoiate of mine." He paused, looking at the black and white kitty. "Alias, or real name?" he questioned him, then shook his head to dismiss the thought, as if saying 'nevermind' with his body language. He was grown up enough to say who he was. "Anyway; Vincent." he quickly introduced himself, expecting the blonde kid to reply in kind.
"Little mage with a pointy hat...?" he echoed, and a memory was triggered in his mind. He recalled seeing someone like that... but where? That's right, now he remembered now. But he wasn't so sure if it was the same person. "Wearing a blue coat, gloves, a straw hat that shadows his face?" he questioned Zidane straight to the point. But that's how Vincent was. Apart from being vague with words, he didn't beat around the bush and generally assisted people when they least expected it.

Zidane was a little startled by the arrival of a cat like creature and a...moogle? Keeping on his branch he listened to the cat, which was wierd enough but it was talking about trajectory which made it even stranger. He then looked at Vincent as he said his name, it made him less scared of him now knowing what he was called.
The second person, the cat seemed to be twitching really strangely, maybe it wasn't a cat at all! But it looked so much like one...it couldn't be anything else could it?
Just about to tell his own name he heard an almost perfect description of Vivi, "You've seen him? You've seen Vivi?" Zidane stood up on his branch and jumped up to Vincent's and the strange cat's branch, "Where did you see him?"

With a loud popping noise Vivi teleported into the land of dragons a few inches in front of Zidane. After a few seconds of staring at Zidane he thought. How'd Zidane get here. But oh well he's probably wondering the same with me. ivi then said to Zidane,"Oh hi Zidane. I hope I didn't worry you too much with my dissapearence. You see I had found a spellbook in the castle Library. It was a teleportation spell."

About to answer Zidane that he had last seen the person he was looking for at the meeting at Disney Castle, Vincent widened his eyes slightly as Vivi suddenly teleported into the tree, his amber eyes then narrowing slightly as he sighed. "Hmph. Nevermind." he answered, remembering that the teenage ape hadn't bothered to reply by telling him his name. But Vincent forgave him, since he was caught up with finding his friend.
Leaving the small wizard and monkey to catch up with one another, Vincent turned to Cat Sith. "We should all get moving, before we get disc-"
"Hey, you lot up there!" yelled a solider, their position up in the tree having been given away. "Get down before I get the captain! You're all here to recruit for the army, right?" he questioned seriously.
Vincent sighed. "Yeah." he simply complied, and answered when the others looked at him, "Would you like them to think we're foreign invaders instead?" he questioned, and pushed himself with his arms out of the tree, crouching as he landed on the ground to asborb some of the recoil. He stood up and dusted himself off, his long tatter red cape flowing behind him, as the other solider waited expectantly for the others in the tree. "Hurry up, or I'll punish the sorry lot of yeh'!"

Zidane smiled as Vivi appeared out of nowhere, but alas this joy was overthrown by the sound of a soldier down below. Yes they had realised that Zidane had gone missing and that people were congregating in a tree. Sighing he nodded in agreement to Vincent's words.
"Yeah...I just got off on the wrong foot with one of the...yeah..." Zidane put his hands behind his head then slipped out of the tree, landing hard on his feet on the ground. Standing up he sighed a little; maybe this army buisness could be worked around? He had got out of things worse than this.
(OOC - lets try to leave this open for Reeve okay? Don't just write him out because...that would be mean)

Vivi jumped down out of the tree and said to Zidane,"mabye I poped in at the wrong time." vivi then looked around at the scenary. Vivi then began to walk fowards with his staff in his right hand. The scenery also looked very good. There was also a lot of trees. He then looked at Zidane and thought. Nows a bad time to teleport away because someone would probably notice I'm gone.
vivi then looked to Vincent and thought. Where have i seen him before. The red cape looks familiar. Well I saw him in disney castle. Hmm I think I saw him in the Radiant Gardens once. Of course I think I might be confused. Vivi then looked back to zidane and said,"You think I came at a bad time. My teleporting can be loud at times."

Cait Sith blinked slowly, before sighing as only a cat could. He looked down, making a little "meow" at the soldier before he quickly leaped onto Vincent's shoulder as he dropped toward the ground. A brief glance was given up toward that pathetic plushie hidden up in the tree before his gaze turned toward the soldier that yelled at them. He wasn't inconspicuous perched on the vampire's shoulder, but if he walked it was likely that he would be eaten by some passing predator, or worse, snatched up by some deranged human.
"This is unforeseen, I won't be able to talk much after this. Ask the mage about his spell and I'll see what I can dig up about it." Cait Sith "purred" into Vincent's ear, rubbing as if he were a loving pet before settling back and watching his surroundings silently. This was not going to go well for the little puppet, especially if someone tried to kill him.

Vincent nodded to Cait Sith, simply because he didn't speak much, but also because it might look strange and blow Cait Sith's cover if he started talking to him like he would a human being. He followed the solider along with monkey boy and the small mage, wondering when they were going to introduce themselves to them.
"Presenting Captain Shang." the solider said, and Vincent realised the solider must have led them to their leader's tent, and looked upon the tall man that strode out of the tent as they both saluted each other, as the solider left them with him.
"So you are the new recruits?" he asked them as they lined up, looking skeptical as he looked at the circus before him. He stood in front of Vincent. "There are no pets allowed here in the Army, solider. If I had the men to spare, I would send you home this instant."
Vincent remained silent. The captain went on.
"We need soliders up at the river. More of those shadow creatures have appeared in abundance there. None of the last soliders we went back yesterday returned. You are to go immediately and dispatch the enemy at once. Dismissed." he turned and entered his tent.
Vincent sighed, and turned to Vivi as they prepared to leave the camp. "You." he called him as his ocher eyes fell upon him, not knowing his name. "Your teleportation spell. Can we use it to leave this world?" he followed Cait Sith's instructions, assuming that's what he had in mind. He hoped the black mage was able to comply since they were obviously on the same side, but it was hard to tell with advanced magic like teleportation.
(OOC: So sorry, Reeve hadn't posted so I thought it would be okay. My apologies Reeve. From now on, this is the posting order: Zidane, Vivi, Reeve, Vincent. )

Zidane stayed quiet, allowing Vincent to take the lead. Looking at the Captain Shang he stood up straight with his stomach in and shoulders back, nothing would make him look bad when he was posing as a recruit. As they prepared he heard Vincent talk about leaving this world and leaving these black creatures to run riot all over the place, to Zidane this wasn't good.
Looking at the faces of everyone he decided this would be his time to take charge. "Hold on a second!" He looked at Vincent with a friendly yet stern face, "You want to leave here? And leave the Heartless to take over?" He walked infront of the group and faced them all, "We are an able group of people, I mean sure we aren't soldiers of any kind but we can still help right?"
This was typical Zidane behavior, taking charge and wanting to help. Usually it got him in trouble and got him hurt but that was his nature.
