"If you say so..."
With that said, Kirux stop once they had reach the main square of Halloween Town. It was fill with spooks and other stuff, mostly the term 'ugly' or 'cool' for the designs of the area with fit it. She actually like the view here and remember it from her last short visit. Until... the heartless appeared.
Kirux let out a small growl at the sight of them, wishing that heartless never existed a few times before keeping her guard up. Her mind was battling on if she should summon her keyblade or allow Vincent to fight them off. Though, it didn't seem he was having that much trouble. Near by, Kirux spotted a broken piece of a chain of some sort. Picking it up and swinging it around to attack one of the Wight Knight that seems to be heading her way, hitting it on the head roughly before it smack to a Gargoyle, destroying them both.
Continuing to use the chain as a weapon until one of the Gargoyle decided to grab it, doing a small tag of war with Kirux before swinging the chain with Kirux still hold it and release its grip to allow Kirux be sent flying and sliding on the ground. "Gah!" Kirux scream in pain as she landed on her bad shoulder. Cursing to herself as she glare at the gargoyle which seem to be doing a small victory dance.
She knew, heartless were easy to destroy but not that easy to kill without the keyblade.

The Gargoyle Heartless stopped doing it's victory dance towards Kirux when Vincent shot it with Hydra, disintergrating it's body. He ignored Kirux's cry of pain when she landed, knowing she was capable of looking after herself. But why wasn't she using her Keyblade in battle like she did before, so more Heartless wouldn't be drawn towards it? Suddenly his phone started vibrating in his pocket, being on silent so it would not alert his presence to his enemies, and Vincent fished it out with his left hand to answer it. He had taken so long to answer it that by the time he flipped it open, he had missed the call, but saw something on the screen that amused him. Quickly he dialed the number back, and let it ring a few times before answering. "Reeve, Vincent." he said in a brief answering tone, then bluntly went on. "I met Sephiroth himself. He's back. As soon as I did, I dialed Cloud and transmitted the entire conversation to him. He should be on the same page. More information when you call back."Having destroyed all of the Wight Knight and Gargoyle Heartless, more began to appear. This time, Trick Ghosts and Graveyard Heartless, the Graveyard Heartless charging forward towards Vincent and ramming him with their box-like bodies, injuring him slightly. He recovered in mid-air, holding onto his tri-cornered hat, and fired his rifle four times into one of the Graveyards, scattering the remnants of it's body back into shadow. The Trick Ghosts shot the dark flames from their candles at Kirux, laughing in cruelty all the while. Trick Ghost Heartless

With the heartless destroy, Kirux move over to Vincent but notice something he had pull out. She gave off a questionable look at it before staring at Vincent himself. "What is that...?" She ask as she held to her bad shoulder, though releasing it once she notice Vincent speaking into the strange device. Her attention leaving him before looking around the place, only to spot more heartless then before.
A growl pass Kirux lips. She needed a weapon, something to at least able to destroy the heartless. She didn't want to summon her keyblade, it would only summon more... right?
Kirux release a gasp at the sight of Vincent being rammed away, but gave of a sigh at the sight of Vincent doing well after he finish off one of the Graveyard Heartless. Until... she felt burning flames on her bad shoulder. She release a scream before turning to glare the the Trick Ghost, growling at it before summoning her keyblade with her good arm, dodging the other flames by rolling away before kneeing down and charging towards it.
Moving to its side before lifting her blade above her head, swinging down on it and watch it disappear as a small single heart floated up from where it use to be. "Just go away!" She shouted as she had use her keyblade like a boomerang, like in the Deep Jungle, and watch it cut a few Graveyards and Trick Ghosts, being replace with small hearts before floating to the sky. She let out a huff as she caught her keyblade with her hand.

As he flipped his phone shut and put it away for the moment, Kirux questioned him on what it was, and he remembered not many offworlders knew of the same technology. "Later." he offered cryptically, and let the Heartless provide the distraction, shooting at the Heartless in rapid slow shots with his rifle Hydra before he anticipated an attack from a remaining Graveyard Heartless, dodging before it could ram him.
He jumped up and gave it a hard kick, before firing more bullets into it, sending it's released heart back to where it belonged. He heard Kirux screaming in pain and reeled around to assist, only to find she effectively cast her revenge on the Heartless that had burned her. The last two Trick Ghosts flipped over and attacked with a different style towards Vincent... clawed hands slicing in front of them, Vincent manged to shot and defeat one, the other one getting too close and slicing deep gashes through his chest. He shot this last Heartless as well, Hydra having it's thirst for kills vanquished, as he looked back towards Kirux. Her scream to tell them to go away seemed to echo in the empty darkness, as if keeping them at bay... but Vincent didn't feel this was over. He anicipated something more ominous would be coming.
"Kirux. Let's go..." he muttered, clutching his fresh gash with his left clawed hand. They still didn't heal up from the last battle, and as long as the coast was clear and one of the buildings wasn't too big they could probably rest and cover for a while. Before he could pick any one of them to enter, Vincent thought he heard a clinking of chains against metal from somewhere in the town. Something was coming. Another Heartless, maybe?

If nobodies weren't meant to feel emotions or any type of feeling, then the feeling of wounds around her body had to be fake reaction to them. Yet, they felt all the more real as they ache with pain with every move she made. She wasn't going to allow herself to show a sense of pain, no, she would keep her expressionless face on just for a little longer. Though it was hard to bare it. Even the urge of her to clutch her arm like Vincent did to his chest was hard to bare, yet she resisted herself from doing so. Even the cut on her cheek that's being block by the half cow skull mask was burning in pain slightly.
"Kirux. Let's go..." Kirux gave off a nod before running to his side to follow him, ignoring the strong aches and pains that shot through her painful body. It seem, Vincent wanted to enter one of the buildings, though she knew two couldn't be enter since her last visit to check what was locked and what wasn't locked.
"Head there." She pointed to a building that was large in size a bit, which was Dr. Finklestein's Lab. She had visit him before and he wasn't that please to meet Kirux when she had interrupt one of his process in making a new experiment.
Her thoughts stop flowing when she heard clinking of chains against metal from somewhere, though she just thought it maybe one of the ghost residence waking up in a ghostly manner.

He nodded, and quickly moved towards the place she had pointed; he looked around alertfully, Hydra held up as he waited for Kirux to enter the door he had opened for her, before he quickly slammed it shut behind him.
He exhaled loudly, and sat down on the table in the middle of the room, bending one leg at the knee as he laid out both before him. He looked around at his new surroundings. It seemed to be some kind of labratory, with gadgets and vials of unknown liquids all over the place. Vincent looked away, down at the ground. The place reminded him all too well of the labratory Hojo had kept him in for many decades.
He looked up at Kirux, underneath lowered eyelids, as they rested for a moment. "Are you alright?" he asked first, noticing she had been hurt, maybe a little bit more than he had. He was glad they had a moment to recover and reflect what they had been through. But Vincent had not put Hydra away, still feeling tense.
The clinking sound of metal sounded closer this time...

Kirux held in her breathe as she move to enter the building, walking to the center to stand before turning to watch Vincent. It seem both of them weren't going to let their guard down now after that whole scene, even the thought of more heartless attacking them afterwards made Kirux grip her keyblade tighter.
Only to be greeted by a small pain on her shoulder, letting out a small groan before loosening her grip on her keyblade. Getting annoyed on how much pain she feels on her body, wishing she truly couldn't feel at all. Since these fake emotions were all to real for her to bare.
"Are you alright?"
Kirux eyes quickly shift to face Vincent, rethinking about what his question was in her head a few times before snapping herself out of her daze. Though, she didn't speak; unsure about the answer she would give him. Letting out a sigh, she move to one of the tables fill with bottles that contain unknown liquids inside of them before moving to a large book that seem to be open.
"Not really..." She had reply to Vincent's question before letting out another sigh as she continue her browsing.
She didn't bother to even try to flip the pages with her hand, it would only pain her body even more if she move. So, she read the two pages that was in front of her, though she couldn't read the words as they seem to form unknown letters to her. But the pictures was detailed enough to know what this creator was planning on making. She let out a growl at the thought of something being made, it even gave her chills. Then... without her knowing, images flash through her head. Seeing a labratory before her eyes with a middle aged man working on something.
Though, when she heard a little girl's voice, she knew she was watching her somebody's memories again, through her eyes. But even more shock on what she had said. "Father? What are you doing?" Though no answer came from the middle aged man, he ignore her as he continue to poor to liquids together. "...You always work now...Goodbye, Father." The images shift to one of the doors as the girl move to leave, seeing the boy that look like Vincent standing by the door, though he was much younger now.
Kirux release a slight gasp before falling to her knees, clutching her keyblade as she try to stand up, letting out a growl to see she couldn't. "Father...." She allow the word to sink into her head as she close her eyes, slowly reopening them again. Questions filling her head, wondering about her past life or a simple 'flash back'. Whatever it was, she wanted to know them all.

Vincent watched patiently as Kirux answered him without looking back in his direction; she seemed to be honest about her answer, but not showing exactly how much pain she was in."You'll live." he told her reassuringly, being off-handed. Like him, she had too much pride to show she was hurt, a burden she would have to hold onto like he did. At least the pain proved they were alive...
Speaking of burdens, he reached for his phone, checking to see if he had any messages or missed calls from Reeve. He didn't. But as he put his phone away, he noticed he had something in his pocket that he had forgotten he had on him. Before he could reach for it, he heard Kirux drop the book she had been looking over, a blank expression on her face. He watched her for a moment, studying with his golden eyes observantly, as he painfully pushed himself off the lab table and slowly crossed the room over to her. He did nothing as she fell to her knees, clutching her keyblade as she cried out for someone who wasn't there, already figuring out what had happened.
"You had another vision again?" he questioned her, kneeling down to her level to look her in the eye, his amber eyes intense and full with curiousity.

Kirux lift her head slightly to look at Vincent, staring into his eyes for awhile before speaking. "Yeah..." Kirux let out a long sigh, taking a look around to see where she was. Remembering they were in a lab, hiding from the invading heartless.
She couldn't really believe what she just saw in her vision. Or know the reason why. "That boy.... was there again, but a more younger version. Must have been older memories." She kinda notice with all her flashbacks and dreams had the boy in it, her somebody must have been close to him. Though... when she thinks about the father, a slight pain on her chest would grow heavy. "Vincent... What's your father like?"
It was a curious question that she wanted to know, she wanted to know if all fathers were the same or different. Slowly, she shift herself so she would be sitting instead of just kneeling down.

Vincent nodded, his eyes looking away slightly as Kirux brought up the subject of fathers, and stood up to his full height. He strode away from her, halfway across the room, the back of his flowing tattered cape all that Kirux could see. "My father... I never really knew him well." Vincent admitted, surprised to find himself opening up, so kept it strict. "He was a paleontologist - a researcher that digs up artifacts of the ancient past. But when I was young, he was killed in his laboratory when something he dug up came back to life and attacked his assistant. He took the hit in her place, and died."Out from his pocket, he took a green orb he had forgotten about before. A Cure Materia. He inserted it into a slot in his handgun Cerberus, putting his rifle Hydra away, and shot it without warning at Kirux. "Heal." His magic went to work, repairing the wound in her shoulder. There was suddenly a loud clang that was heard from outside, and Vincent went to check it out, throwing open the doors of the labratory that led back to the main square. He was glad for a distraction, not wanting to talk any more about his father, having felt stressed the moment Kirux hd brought it up. The square was empty at first, silent as the grave, and Vincent as glad to scout around to relieve the pressure he had been building up. He scanned around him carefully, smelling the strong aroma of Heartless, but hearing nothing. Suddenly he heard a wooshing sound from behind him, and before he could turn around to see what it was, a large metal object hit him and sent him flying towards the cruely-place guillotine in the square, hitting his head on the steel blade and falling onto his chest underneath it. Floating in the middle of the square was none other than a giant Heartless - it's chains clinking together in exactly the same sound Vincent had heard before they had finished battling the Heartless. It had a head, two long arms, and a large birdcage big enough to hold a person hanging below it. The Prison Keeper Heartless flung it's arms around, laughing silently as it moved in towards Vincent as he picked himself up, who lay dangerously under the blade of the guillotine that instantly came racing down on top of it's newest victim. At the sight of Vincent walking away, Kirux intended to stop him, but only had the strength to stand instead of walking. She couldn't see the expression on Vincent's face so she couldn't tell what he was feeling right now. "My father... I never really knew him well." Kirux throat felt tight from that instant, knowing that she might have said something she shouldn't have brought up. She didn't expect Vincent to continue on speak so she try to at least move her body to walk towards him, but once he spoke, she came to a halt.
"He was a paleontologist - a researcher that digs up artifacts of the ancient past. But when I was young, he was killed in his laboratory when something he dug up came back to life and attacked his assistant. He took the hit in her place, and died."
"He took the hit in her place, and died."[/color] Those words seem to echo in her head for awhile, seeming to remind her of something she couldn't clearly remember so she just shrug it off. "I see... Forgive me for asking then." She had found her answer, fathers are different.
Her eyes widen a bit at the sight of Cerberus in Vincent's hand, thinking he might have heard an enemy of some short until the gun was pointed to her. Was he going to betray her? She didn't want to think that, quickly shutting her eyes as the gun was fire also hearing a small 'heal' word escape from Vincent's lips. Her eyes reopen to see that she was no longer in pain, Vincent had healed her wounds. Her shoulder felt lighter then ever and started to move it around to see if it really was healed. "Thank you, Vincent."
She was just about to suggest that Vincent should heal himself also until he had left the lab to check what had made the noise. Quickly grabbing her keyblade from the ground, she dash to catch up with him, stopping by his side once she reach him. Watch Vincent leave her side to check the area out, probably to see whatever made that noise. She also went around search, though she saw nothing yet.
Turning to check on Vincent only to see something behind him. "Vincent!" But it was too late as the large metal object sent him flying to cruely-place guillotine in the square. Growling at the sight of Vincent being attack before glaring at what had attack it. "Vincent! Move!" She wasn't going to wait, summon two dusk as she order them to save Vincent as she rush in to attack. Throwing her keyblade like a boomerang at the heartless head, taking a step back as she caught her blade back in her hand.

The Dusk Kirux had summoned were already too late. The guillotine slashed down on Vincent as he pushed off and tried to roll out of the way. His back got caught underneath it, feeling excruciating pain tear through his cloak and down his side. He grunted out in pain, staggering, blinded for a moment as all he could see was white.
Kirux's keyblade hit the Prison Keeper Heartless, damaging his head, and caused him to flail his arm around wildly after the keyblade as it returned back to Kirux. Not hitting his target, he reeled around and instantly clawed to death in one lunge with both arms both of Kirux's Dusks that were still following Kirux's orders, helping Vincent up until they were destroyed. Kirux was still without her blade as it returned to her, and with Vincent standing up now and leveling Cerberus at it, it sensed the more easier target was Kirux. As it raced forward, Vincent fought his pain, and instantly he was in front of Kirux as the monster reared it's giantic mouth to bite down on him.
It was a clean hit from the Heartless as he bit into Vincent's torso, and suddenly from Vincent there was an explosion of light from the materia buried deep in his chest.
As he purple aura surrounded him, Kirux suddenly became witness to a rare sight. Vincent's body began to morph, but unlike his other forms, he started to shrink rather than bulk up. His skin suddenly became hard and grey, like marble or stone. A bandage came from behind the curtain of his raven hair and wrapped around his face, leaving only one eye visable, which had turned a deep crimson red. His mouth was suddenly stitched up, like a mummified corpse, and his cloak was suddenly ripped to pieces to form a crude scarf around his neck. More banadages wrapped around the right arm where his golden gauntlet wasn't present, one of the pink in color - the ribbon he had kept to wear in rememberance of Aerith. His black clothes were torn off to reveal a stone cold grey muscular chest that was revealing until it got to his belt, where steel bands now lay in loops around his waist, his pants torn in places except for more golden armor that was clamped onto his calf and upper thigh. To finish the look, the noisy weapon that had torn up his cloak churned and roared to life as Vincent brought it around from behind his back to wield it, revealing the chainsaw Cerberus had also transformed into.
The light cocoon around his body burst, and before Kirux stood Vincent no more - he was now one of the more rarer incarnations of Chaos, the nightmare fitting in this gothic world, the demon known as Hellmasker.
He wasn't before Kirux for long, though. The Prison Keeper Heartless had bitten down on him, and had him in his mouth for a moment. Hellmasker only had a second before the giant Heartless swallowed it.
Then, he was deposited inside the cage underneath the Heartless's head. The Prison Keeper's power absorbed the power of Hellmasker's elemental attribute, poison, and it's arms turned into a brilliant violet. It then shot sludge at Kirux from it's fingers, the sludge burning like acid with whatever it touched, as it floated around and tried to keep it's distance from Kirux.
Inside Hellmasker, Vincent would have none of it, leaving Kirux to fight on her own while he played the part of a hostage. He brought down his chainsaw into a gap in the cage, and started slicing away at the crude bars. This would take some time to free himself.
Until then, unless Kirux summoned more Nobodies, she was on her own...

It happen all to fast as Vincent just stood in front of her. Taking the hit as the heartless bite down on him. Just about to shout his name until a bright light appear, though she didn't know where it had came from. Covering her eyes from the light until it had die down, slowly placing her arm down to see Vincent had change once more. But instead he didn't change like the thing in the Deep Jungle but he had change into something else that was more of the un-dead.
Before Kirux could even let out a gasp, the heartless had shallowed Vincent whole, allowing Kirux to let out a scream. "No! No! No! I won't allow that!" Her keyblade back in her hands, she growl at the sight of sludge being shot out of it's fingers. She couldn't help but twitch at that. "Well.... that's new..." Jumping a few steps back as the first sludge touch part of the nearby town square fountain, burning part of it off.
Finally, a gasp escape her lips when she realize what the sludge can do. Jumping back once more as Sludge was thrown again. This time, a little bit to close for comfort. She lets out another growl at it. "Fine! You want long range? I'll get you long range!" She summon a few dusks before her as she order them to try and get close enough to attack without hurting Vincent in the cage.
Her grip on her blade tighten as she try to focus some light and darkness into her keyblade. A black mist of darkness slowly consumed her blade before stopping at the handle before light started to consume it as well. Making it a mix of white and black mist surrounding her keyblade. Lifting her keyblade before slowly pointing it to the heartless, smirking before shooting two spheres first at his head. A bit proud that she had kept a close eye watch on Vincent's fight.
Her thought fixing on one goal, get Vincent for now. Then destroy the heartless.
Don't worry Vincent.... I'll get you out...
[Light Consume The Dark] With her keyblade out, her keyblade becomes consume by a black mist, darkness but stops at the handle. Light consumes the keyblade this time around the keyblade as it mix itself with the darkness, turning it into a black and white mist surrounding her keyblade. Kirux points to her target and uses her keyblade like a gun as the white and black mist forms into small tiny spheres before lunching them self to the path of the target. If hit, it would hurt as if an actual bullet had struck the skin.

The Heartless floated away as it squirted out the last of it's acidic slime from it's fingers, focusing now on the Dusk Nobodies Kirux sent towards it. Like the Trick Ghosts, it switched from long range to close range, swiping it's fists out at the Dusk as it destroyed them.
It suddenly howled in pain as Kirux's Light Consume the Dark attack shot through it's head, reducing some of it's hit points. It floated forward, it's purple arms throbbing continuously, as it swiped out it's giant hands towards the Nobody Keyblader.
Vincent, as Hellmasker, had finished cutting one side of the square that he was creating as a doorway to his escape. He stopped to turn the blade of his chainsaw to cut another side, and as he did, he noticed Kirux charging up her keyblade, shooting off light and darkness as... bullets. Like from a gun.
Within Hellmasker, Vincent mentally smirked. It seemed like he was having more of an effect on Kirux than just her memories...

Kirux summon more dusks before side stepping from the acid sludge, seeing it burn one of the dusk she summon before it disappeared. Ordering her dusk to do the same thing again like before. Being distracted from giving the dusk orders, she didn't see the large claw hand coming at her. Releasing a grunt as it struck her, though once she had grab hold of the hand, she wasn't planning on letting go just yet.
At the right timing, she pull herself before balancing herself on the arm, kneeling down on one knee as she aim her keyblade at the head once more, shooting off a few more spheres before running up the arm. The black and white mist disappearing as she held it with two hands, giving a shout as she slice at it's head.
"Ha!"
Jumping back slightly before jumping off the heartless, not knowing what will it do if she stay any longer on it's arm.
