For a moment she held her breath in anticipation as he wiped the tears away, and the icy trails they left on his face lingered, a testament to some sort of weakness. He stood as he was, obviously thinking- probably more than he had during the fight thus far. With a frown, he sighed, running a hand through his hair. Her eyes never left the man in front of her until he cut the weapon on his arm off.
She couldn't believe it- he was done fighting, it seemed!
"I'm tired of playing now." he started. After a short pause, he spoke up again. "You don't look so great anyways."
She was tempted to make a sarcastic remark, but she knew it would be stupid of her- she jumped at the chance to get out of the fight in one piece. "No surprise there. You put up a better fight than I'd expected," she admitted, grudgingly. Better to leave a fight on your own two feet than on someone else's.

The Turk did nothing for a moment after Loz told her that he was done fighting, though he could easily guess that she would be relieved. He would have destroyed her if the fight went on, he knew that much without a doubt. The Turk was a good opponent, but she lacked a lot of things that Loz had, not that he blamed her for that, there weren't many people that were as good as fighting as he was, and Loz was proud of his capabilities.
Loz didn't feel very reassured as the Turk complimented his fighting abilities, saying that he did better then she thought he would. The Turk had given Loz a lot to think about, at least when it came to Sephiroth. He had never thought about Sephiroth that much, he simply knew that he was his brother too, and that he was connected to Sephiroth like he was his other brothers. But he was troubled by the Turk's mocking words, was he nothing more then a clone? He knew that he wouldn't have another opportunity to talk to someone else about Sephiroth that wasn't his brothers, he wanted some answers when it came to his oldest brother.
He looked at the Turk for a few more moments before talking. "What do you know about Sephiroth? Tell me everything, I want to know all of it." For once in a long time, possibly forever, Loz wanted to know answers about his family. The Turks were from Gaia, and this Turk had mentioned Sephiroth, so he knew she knew about him. Loz didn't know anything about Sephiroth, nothing about his past or what he was like, Loz didn't even know what he looked like.

There was another bout of silence, and the martial artist took the oppurtunity to check for anything that could be cured by her restorative materia. However, she was pulled out of the action when the look-alike spoke up.
"What do you know about Sephiroth? Tell me everything, I want to know all of it." The Turk looked down, for a moment, mulling over what she would say- if she said anything.
"Why should I answer your questions when you never answered mine?" she began, studying the man before her- not trusting him to stay in his current mindset on not fighting.
"Who are you?" she began, entirely serious. "You look like General Sephiroth- but there's no way you are one and the same."

Loz shot the Turk a sneer as she responded to his questions, what the hell did she want to know? Whatever she wanted wasn't anywhere near as important as what Loz wanted to know about Sephiroth, what he needed to know. He had been in the dark for so long, but that had been ok because his brothers knew what was happening, and he was fine as long as they knew. But now he didn't have his brothers at his side all the time, sometimes he played the game solo, something he wasn't used to. And Loz found that when he didn't have his brothers to tell him what was going on, that he was forced to find answers for himself.
Loz would rather have Yazoo and Kadaj with him, telling him what was happening. He had never cared about knowing anything about Sephiroth because he knew Kadaj knew all that he needed to know, and things were fine because of that. Loz sighed as the Turk asked him who he was, he didn't really want to answer this woman's questions, he'd much rather being hearing answers to his own. "Thought you would have heard of me..." Loz couldn't quite understand it, he had thought that he and his brothers were pretty famous, or infamous to be more exact, amongst the people of Gaia.
Loz didn't really care if people knew his name, but he had never really bothered with introductions before. "I'm not Sephiroth, as if that wasn't obvious." Of course it would only be obvious to someone who had known Sephiroth, but that didn't make a difference to Loz. "My name is Loz, happy? Why don't you tell me your name, and whatever you know about Sephiroth." Loz didn't normally care about names, but this Turk had him a little interested.

"Thought you would have heard of me..." he stated, rather moodily.
"Why? Are you famous back on Gaia?" she asked quickly, figuring she might as well get all her questions in at once.
"I'm not Sephiroth, as if that wasn't obvious. My name is Loz, happy? Why don't you tell me your name, and whatever you know about Sephiroth."
"My name's Helen. The General is... he was a highly skilled swordsman with indescribable strength, speed, stamina, intelligence... he was Godly in every way. He looked, like I said, alot like you, only his hair fell to his knees, he was taller..." Why am I even telling him this? To satiate him, I suppose- I'd be screwed if he came at me now... She trailed offf shortly, glancing at the man.
"He worked for Shinra- A Soldier, First class. Then, one day he went to Nebelheim and found out something he didn't need to know and he just... went crazy. He burnt the town down, then practically committed suicide by jumping into a mako pit with Jenova's head."
She eyed him again, hoping he wouldn't ask her to elaborate on anything- she would probably have been murdered by Tseng at this point for telling him so much, but she supposed she felt the need to preserve what little dignity she had left.

Loz rolled his eyes a little as the Turk asked if he was famous, thinking that was a bit of an understatement. "Yeah, me and my brothers are about as famous as anyone in Gaia. Haven't heard of what happened at Edge?" Loz shrugged again, it didn't really matter to him, he was just a little surprised that someone from Gaia, specifically a Turk, he thought the Turks knew too much, that didn't know about him. Loz enjoyed being well known, but it came with its downsides. No one from Gaia would play with him anymore, they were generally too busy running away.
He scratched the side of his face as the Turk told him her name, Helen. Not that it really mattered to him, but he just wanted to know a little more about the Turk without asking a stupid question, like I want to know more about you. Loz didn't ask those questions, if he wanted to know something about someone, he asked his brothers. If they didn't know anything about that person, then they weren't worth knowing anything about, at least that was the way Loz saw it.
Finally Helen started talking about Sephiroth, calling him the General. Why did she keep calling Sephiroth a General? Was he in the army or something? The Turk told Loz that Sephiroth was godly in almost every way, which made him feel better. If him and his brothers each represented a part of Sephiroth, which was one of the only intimate details he had picked up from his brothers, then that meant that when he was with his brothers they were all practically a god. The thought almost made Loz smirk and laugh a little bit, but his attention was drawn away as Helen went on about Sephiroth again.
The Turk then told Loz that Sephiroth had been a SOLDIER. Loz had never known that part before, but that wasn't surprising because he had never known anything about Sephiroth's past. Then the Turk told Loz about how Sephiroth had went crazy and jumped into a Mako pit with Jenova's head, which caused Loz to freeze up. Jenova? Mother? What did this Turk know about mother? "Wait, you know about mother? Do you know where she is? Tell me! Where's mother?" The mention of Jenova had begun to excite Loz, he wanted to find his mother so badly.

"Yeah, me and my brothers are about as famous as anyone in Gaia. Haven't heard of what happened at Edge?"
"No, actually... I haven't been back to Gaia since Avalanche's fall..." She stated, rather sourly.
Shen she mentioned Jenova, the man- Loz, as she now knew him by, became a bit too excited for her tastes, asking if she knew where she was, then without waiting for a reply demanding to know of her whereabouts.
"No, I don't know where she is, so, in lieu of that, I can't tell you. What makes you think I'd know anything of the sort if I didn't even know who you were?" She shuddered slightly at the cold, hiding it with a shake of her head. "How do YOU know about Sephiroth- and who the heck's your mother?"

Loz didn't really know that much about AVALANCHE. All he did know was that his other brother, Cloud, was a member, and so was a bunch of his friends, maybe all of them. Loz knew that Tifa was one of them, and she was one of the only people that he had interacted with that Cloud actually knew. He didn't really care about AVALANCHE, but the group had been pretty dead for a while, so that meant that the Turk pretty much didn't no anything about Loz, or the other Remnants, his brothers. Loz figured that the first person he would talk to about this stuff wouldn't know anything. Not for the first time, or the last, Loz wished that he had one of his brothers around, they would know more.
Loz's excitement drained away as the Turk said she didn't know where his mother was, saying she wouldn't know anything of that sort if she hadn't known who he was. But everyone knew who Loz's mother was. Loz reached his hand back up to his head, running his hand through his frosty silver hair, not sure he even wanted to talk to the Turk anymore. What else could Helen tell him? She said it herself, she didn't know anything else about mother, why would she know anything else helpful then? But Loz stayed, simply because he didn't know where else to go, though he was loathe to answer more of Helen's questions.
Loz was about to ask the Turk if it wasn't obvious how he was related to Sephiroth, and who his mother was, but then he remembered that Helen didn't know who he was, so it wasn't obvious to her like it was to him. "Sephiroth's my brother." Loz said it casually, like practically everyone knew that. "And mother..." Loz paused for a few moments as he thought of mother, would he really have to say her name? Loz had been able to always just call her mother, and everyone would know who he was talking about. At least his brothers would know anyways, they always knew what Loz was talking about. "And mother, you said her name earlier. Sephiroth had her... Had her head." Loz was starting to become a little uncomfortable with the conversation, he didn't like talking about mother unless someone was telling him where she was, or at least where to look.

Helen watched the silver-haired man carefully as he replied, almost like he didn't want to admit what he was saying- or maybe he was uncomfortable- it didn't matter to her. He was, in a sense, updating her on what had occurred after the Zirconiade summon had sucked her off of her home.
"Sephiroth's my brother. And Mother... And mother, you said her name earlier. Sephiroth had her... Had her head."
"Jenova? The Heaven's Dark Harbinger? Capable of producing child? Ha! That's pretty funny!" she stated, unaware that he was indeed, serious, until she glanced back and studied his expression for a moment. She blinked in mild confusion. "You're just as crazy as the General.... Mmm... I didn't kow Lucrecia had another child. I thought she passed shortly after Sephiroth."

Loz's glare was cold enough to practically make the ice on Helen melt right on her, he wasn't happy to hear her comment. Mother? Laughable? Loz was her child, he knew that it was the truth! But this Turk found the thought amusing! Loz resisted the urge to start attacking her again, but he stopped himself, he didn't want to play anymore. It wouldn't be play if Loz attacked the Turk again, he would want to do more then just win... Loz wasn't afraid about keeping a clear conscience, but he didn't go around killing people unless his brothers wanted him to.
Loz scratched the back of his head when Helen said that he was as crazy as Sephiroth, Sephiroth was crazy? Loz found the statement to be confusing, but not nearly as confusing as the next one. Who the hell was Lucrecia? Was this Turk trying to say that someone else, someone not mother, was Sephiroth's mother? Loz was getting more and more confused about this as the meeting went on, he really needed to talk to one of his brothers now, or else he'll never be able to figure out what was going on. "Lucrecia? Who's that? Sephiroth has the same mother as me!"

"Lucrecia? Who's that? Sephiroth has the same mother as me!" The turk's expression turned from one of confusion to one of blank annoyance.
"Do you even know what Jenova is- was? She was an alien. she fell from the sky thousands of years ago and caused destruction. She's been dead for a while. You claim to be the brother of Sephiroth, well, he was not concieved of a dead alien. A Shinra scientist concieved him and one of her coworkers experimented on him, or something like it. Sephiroth was raised on the lie that his mother was a woman named Jenova who died when he was young... What's a full-grown man doing asking for his mother anyways?"

Loz's brow furrowed in confusion as the Turk went off on him about Jenova, saying things like she was an alien, thousands of years old, caused destruction. The Turk also said that she wasn't Sephiroth's mother, that he had been lied to. Had Loz... Had he been lied to? Had his brothers been lieing to him? No, Loz couldn't believe that. If he had been lied to, then his brothers had been lied to also, it didn't make sense for it to be any other way.
But what did that mean for Loz? Was his mother... Was his mother not really his mother? Was he like Sephiroth, lied to? He couldn't believe it, his mother had to be his mother. It didn't make sense for it to be otherwise... Loz could feel tears starting to well up in his eyes again, but he shook his head and wiped his hand across his face again, looking at the Turk. "I don't... I don't understand." Loz looked around and saw a nice sized rock, big enough for him to sit on it.
He walked over to the rock and sat down, putting his face in his hands. He didn't even care that the Turk was still there, he was too busy being seriously confused about everything going on. "Brothers... What's going on?" The words were a whisper, words that only Loz could hear. He wished Kadaj or Yazoo were here now, so that they could comfort him, or tell him that the Turk was lieing. He just didn't know what to think anymore.

The martial artist watched Loz warily, knowing full well that he had an advantage over her, and that she would have to tread lightly lest he decide he was fed up. She also knew that she was confusing him with her words.
"I don't... I don't understand." he admitted.
"You are quite the childish one, aren't you?" she started as he sat on a stone, head heavily in his hands mere moments later. "You were lied to like Sephiroth, weren't you? Told your mother was someone she wasn't. ' O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.*'" she quoted, trying to, at the very least, make up for pissing him off before.
"All you've been told that is truth is that you have some form of familial relationship with General Sephiroth, and you don't even know him- yet you bear that banner proudly as though you do. Who told you these stories?" she asked shortly, getting back wo what she was in the process of doing before he asked about Sephiroth. She flipped her bangle idly and activated her restorative materia, scowling shortly when it didn't do quite as much as she had hoped. After a pause, she got back into her little speech.
"Could it have been what is left of Jenova's consciousness? She hypnotized people into doing her will with her eyes- got into their heads and forced them to act accordingly with hers. At least... that's how I figure it." She glanced at Loz shortly, warily as she explained this last bit to him.

Loz said nothing as the Turk stated that he was a childish one, he knew he wasn't a kid. His brothers told him that too, told him that he was only sensitive because he loved mother so much. But what did that mean if everything about mother was a lie? Loz didn't understand, he had spent his whole life wanting to find his mother, but what was the point of all that if... If mother wasn't his mother? Loz didn't want to think about it, it made his head hurt. He wished he knew that it was a lie, but Loz didn't know. He just didn't know.
Then the Turk talked about how Sephiroth was lied to, had Loz been lied to? He couldn't decide, because he didn't know who would lie to him. Would Kadaj or Yazoo lied to him? Loz wanted to think no, he trusted his brothers more then anyone else. Loz still didn't say anything, even as the Turk began to recite something that he didn't know, but it helped him calm down a little bit. He took a deep breath and looked back up at the Turk, who had begun talking again.
She said that everything he's heard except for his relation to Sephiroth has been a lie somehow, asking Loz who told him these stories. He thought about it for a moment, but then dropped his head, he couldn't think of anyone. "I don't know... My brothers say the same thing, but they couldn't lie to me, they're.... They're my brothers." Loz shook his head, running a gloved hand through his hair again, still completely unsure what to think about all of this.
Then the Turk talked about how Jenova, mother, had hypnotized people. Loz didn't know... Mother? Hypnotizing? He had never seen his mother before, never talked to her, how was she supposed to hypnotize him? He didn't know what to think of the whole thing, it didn't make any sense to him. Loz looked back up at the Turk again, not really knowing what to say. "My brothers and me... We're supposed to be parts of Sephiroth, embodiments or something like that... I'm supposed to be Sephiroth's strength, and his... His connection with mother." Loz had a hard time talking, it was like he had to check each word to make sure they made sense as he said them.

Loz spoke up, face twisted in confusion, in response to the Turk's quetion, and she blinked. "So... there are more of you? How many more?" she paused, listening carefully to his second statement.
"My brothers and me... We're supposed to be parts of Sephiroth, embodiments or something like that... I'm supposed to be Sephiroth's strength, and his... His connection with mother." Helen let loose a short, dry laugh.
"Well, that explains at least part of why I was on defense throughout the whole fight... and, I suppose, why you're so sensitive to hearing all of this." She paused, thinking for a moment- he'd said something about Edge.... where was Edge? She'd never heard of it.
"You said you were... I suppose I should say 'Infamous' because of something you did in 'Edge' ... Where... exactly, is that?" She felt weak for asking an enemy about her home... but she didn't know what, if anything, had happened; not with Avalanche- whether or not they had re-arisen, or ShinRa, the Turks, the President, or Veld... She supposed she would have to find Tseng, which could wind up proving difficult with the state she was in- lost, confused, and far from home.
