(OOC: Sorry about the wait everyone, but because some people were kicked out, I had some problems deciding what to do with Sora. Plus I lost muse, which didn't help things. There are now open spots in the thread, and I'm going to start with a new rule, that if you don't post with your characer in between every three days when I post (and I will post), then you will be critically injured by Ferser's actions. Three strikes like these, and you're kicked out. This way we can have the plot finish sooner.)
The brunette keyblade master raced out of the throne room and into the corridor after the disappearing figure of the man with the crimson cloak and his purple-dressed hostage. He rapidly breathed in and out and his heart started to pound as he turned the corridor and found lesser Heartless blocking his path. Shadows, Soliders and Minute Bomb Heartless appeared from out of thin air, and in a large group attacked Sora. With keyblade in hand, he met the Heartless head-on, slashing through them as he tried to get past them, but he didn't do enough damage to destroy any of them as they began to follow him. "Magnega!" he cried, shooting out a ball of darkness from his keyblade, which grew bigger and bigger in size as it began to suck in the lesser Heartless, leaving Sora's path clear.
However, more appeared in front of him, and Sora grunted in frustration. He hacked at a Soldier, and cried out in pain as a Minute Bomb Heartless exploded into him. A Shadow jumped through the air and swiped at him, and now the Heartless that hadn't been destroyed by the Magnega that had just worn off were advancing on him, doubling the number of Heartless quickly. Sora loathed how the villians always used Heartless to slow him down. He couldn't stay and fight these guys forever! Sora initciated his Dodge Slash, swinging wildly through the Heartless now mobbing him, destroying a few in the process.
More Minute Bombs came at him, and Sora knew he had to do something. He did something unexpected and turned around, jumping over a few Soliders that came at him, and slashed at them from above in the process. The Minute Bomb that was following him exploded into them, wiping them out. Sora then turned around and begin running thorugh the smoke left in the explosion, letting the other Minute Bomb explode, reducing the Shadows that weren't flattened against the ground into nothing except a few floating hearts. Knowing that the few remaining flattened Shadows would not be able to keep up with him, Sora kept running and called out the name of his friend. "Meg!" he cried out, wandering if Genesis had dragged her back to the Courtyard, and hoped Terra had succeeded in stopping the human Heartless from corrupting the Cornerstone...

[OOC: I have the feeling that Larxene meant that only we four are going to be in this plot-thread now. Two vs two in a sense.]
Yazoo slowly continued his way to find a way to the throne room. He could sense all the people moving around rapidly. The dark presence of Ferser had moved all the way to the Cornerstone. What is he planning? The remnant had no information on what they were going to do with the Cornerstone. From the presence of Ferser, he made up, that the Heartless planned to destroy it. Brother had expected that they'd take it away. Perhaps use it. He was rather confused by this. Are we left in the dusk? Genesis' and Megara's presences had faded away and Sora's presence disappeared as well.
The silver-haired man was not sure on what to do. The Corridors shouldn't be working on this world. Was there some disturbance? He could expect that a powerful Heartless like Ferser breaking through like he did, perhaps that caused a disturbance as well. Though, as he thought about it all, the remnant started to move faster. He wanted to know what was wrong. He headed for the throneroom and instead of trying to find a way around the Courtyard, he crossed over it as fast as he could. He wasn't sure whether Sora would reappear somehow, but he was pretty much in a hurry.
What is Ferser up to? He continued his way through the corridor towards the throne room. He tried his best to find out where all presences had gone to. His mind was rather scrambled, but his state stayed rather calm. Somewhere within him, he wished he had stayed with his brothers and ignored the entire meeting with the Human Heartless.

In his jump, Ferser stabbed the Cornerstone with his poisonned orichalcum weapon without getting stopped. He had succeeded in the first part of his plan. His skin was all black in his second form which allowed him to use stronger abilities and be twice as fast. However he did took more damage. The radiation from the Cornerstone of light was blowing him like someone would blow ashes away. However he was though enough to stand it. He put his feet on the Cornerstone of light and put his right knee down, holding his green poisonned sword while slowly putting his poison into the stone that would become the Cornerstone of darkness.
He jumped down, letting his sword deeply stuck in the cornerstone. "If someone manages to pull that out he'll become the next king." He said with a laugh as a joke since he stabbed it with such strength. The stabbed side of the cornerstone was very slowly turning gray and green.
He then sit there in indian waiting for a hero who would want to stop his plans to show up. He would hold them out until that stone becomes completely corrupted, if he won, it would make a new stronghold for the darkness. Quite an intertainning battle it would be. His back exposed to the cornerstone was still getting the damage from the radiation but he did noticed it slowly starting to fade. He grinned an evil smile waiting for a hero to rip out appart.

(OOC: I may if I find anyone who's interested, but there might not be much point now seeing how the thread is almost over anyway. We'll see.)
"I'm sorry Meg..."
The Keyblade Master turned and ran back down through the throne room, Terra having already gone ahead of him to offer to save Meg himself. So now because of the change of plan at the last minute, it was up to Sora alone now to save the Cornerstone from the Heartless. More Bolt Tower Heartless appeared to try and stop him from getting to his destination, but Sora simply jumped out of their way, missing their wriggling bodies and they slow bolts of lightning. He jumped past them onto the stairs of the hall that was hidden underneath the throne room, and kept running down the steps into the darkness. How had the Heartless gotten past them and found the secret entrance hidden underneath the King's throne?
He finally arrived in the Hall of the Cornerstone, and immediately noticed from the last time he had been here to save it how dark it was. Just like how Malificent had cast darkness in all corners of the room, except there were no giant thorns present. Sora didn't stop running until he saw what was happening to the cornerstone, and gasped as he stopped in his tracks. Light was slowly fading from the cornerstone, and darkness was slowly taking over it. It was turning a ugly grayish green - this couldn't be good at all!
Sora finally turned his attention to the blade that was stuck in the Cornerstone, and the Heartless man that stood by it overseeing his success. Sora's eyebrows furrowed in resentment as he thrust his hands before him and summoned his Kingdom Key. Without his friends and his power that came from them, he could not use any kind of keychains, but Sora knew he couldn't rely on his friends all the time to help him. He was the Keyblade master after all, and had to make an example of himself. If he couldn't beat this Heartless alone, then the world of Disney Castle and the world King Mickey and friends called home was doomed!
Silence permeated the room between the two, until Sora spoke, bright azure eyes piercing into the human Heartless before him. "Step away from the Cornerstone right now!" he warned the Heartless once, giving the man a chance to sink back into the shadows without a fight. It would be much easier that way for Sora so he could start to figure out how to stop the sword from corrupting the Cornerstone. He knew if he tried pulling the sword out, the sword might do something to him, and if not the Heartless would try to stop him and initiate a battle. Alone against the shadow, Sora awaited to see what the Heartless would say, bracing himself in case the stranger made a pre-emptive strike.
"Who are you, anyway!?"

It seemed she was constantly ending up in places she had not planned to.
Appearing in that golden flash of light, Terra Branford hastily look about her surroundings. Immense darkness assaulted her senses, and it nearly overwhelmed her for a moment, the poor part Esper reeling back from it all. Taking a step back, she tried to look for the source, when she saw a man sitting idly by, as if waiting for something. Behind him sat a corrupted orb of light, for that was what it seemed to her. The light seemed to be fading from the orb, and she knew this man had something to do with it. Terra was new to the idea of enemies without hearts, and enemies made solely from the darkness in one's heart, but she could tell this was a Heartless. Vincent had called these enemies by that name. Warily, the young woman jumped back, sure he noticed her presence by now.
Bright blue eyes flickered to the sword embedded into the core of the orb, sure that was the cause of the corruption. Terra had little idea of what the situation was, but she knew she had to act in some way. What if someone were hurt? Or would become hurt, if she allowed this action to continue? Another death would only stain her already bloodied hands, and she wished to seek some redemption in her hazy memories. Her hand rested upon the hilt of Apocalypse, feeling another presence nearby, this one much lighter, though. Barely a taint of darkness in this strong heart, and someone who was probably coming to stop whatever this man had done. Already, she could feel her powers come easily to her grasp, ready to be used, instead of suppressed as she had always tried.
Looking to the side, she saw the presence enter the room, in the form of a young male. Perhaps the same age as herself? Now was not the time to worry about that, though. Terra was cautious, looking from both the Heartless, and this boy. Her gaze flickered to his weapon briefly, in the shape of a key. The Keyblade? Various stories about such a weapon had caught her attention, but Terra had never asked Vincent about such a thing. Perhaps the next time she saw him, she would. Slowly, she unsheathed her own weapon, the aura about it cackling with energy it absorbed from it's user. The slender blade hardly looked threatening, but looks were always deceiving. "What purpose do you have here?" Terra asked finally, glancing to the Heartless, already preparing to help this keyblade wielder beside her any way she could.

Suddenly, King Mickey snapped out of it and followed Sora and some lady to the Corner Stone. Unfortunately Ferser managed to get to the Corner Stone before them. Their only choice was to fight this man. "What are you doing here?" Mickey had the right to know what this man is doing. This was his castle and the Corner Stone belongs to the castle. Whatever the man was here for it was probably to infect the Corner Stone? Mickey could feel right off the bat that this man had extraordinary powers.
Just because of that the King was never going to give in. He let out a small breath and took a few steps forward. Now he could get a good look of Ferser. He always knew the light was going to be there to aid him. Now was one of those times the light was going to step in. His heart was telling him to beat this man. If the only way is to stop this man is to fight then he shall. "Sora keep your eye on him at times." Mickey was serious about what he had just said. If they even stop focusing on this man they all could get attacked. So he figured it would be best if they all paid close attention to him.
What really got the King going was the look on Ferser's face. It looked so chaotic and evil. This man must truly be out to destroy the light? This man was truly with the heartless. If the Cornerstone gets corrupted the heartless will return. That is something Mickey nor anyone on the light side wants. The heartless are cruel and evil dark beings. Nothing good happens at all when they are around. It might be three against one but something was off.
(Vincent told me I could join. I am the New King Mickey. Sorry that the post is short.)

(OOC; Sorry Ferser, but Larxene asked me to post, everyone's getting impatient.)
Suddenly there was a bright flash of Light, and for a second as Sora gasped, he almost thought it was the brillant radience of the Cornerstone itself. But instead, from out of nowhere, came the image of a beautiful young and slender girl. Sora instantly smiled, happy to see the girl, knowing she must have been on his side to appear in sure a pure light. And from the way she spoke to the Heartless questioning his purpose here confirmed that fact, that she wasn't at all on his side. For the first time in a long while, Sora was relieved he was not alone, his confidence growing as he tightened the grip around his keyblade.
In a flash of light, his Keyblade transformed into the Starseeker keyblade, it's keychain having activated in the presence of one of the people who had a close bond of friendship with Sora's heart. "Your Majesty!" Sora cried out in relief as he head Mickey's voice, and saw him approach to stand by his side. The King always seemed to appear in the most dire of moments, and Sora remembered when he had been there to help him shut the Door to Darkness, and open it to battle Xemnas. He could always count on the King to help him out, even when things didn't look their brightest, he was a source of light and wisdom in Sora's eyes. With the King and the young woman that had drawn a sword as slender as herself, Sora felt his call for help from both new and old friends had been answered.
But Sora's faith in the light was about to be tested, as the noticed the dark green energy from the poisoned blade begin to overwhelm the light of the orb of the Cornerstone, the spark in it's center refusing to give up as the encroaching darkness smothered around it. As the shadows completely engulfed the entire structure, suddenly the castle shook as if there was an earthquake, and darkness began to pour out of the Cornerstone as it began transforming the room into pitch black starting from the wall behind it. Everyone could feel the immense darkness that would ensnare everything in it's path into it's despairing folds, and Sora shouted "Run!" to his allies as he turned and fled, keeping ahead of the living shadows as they blanketed the walls and floor. He just hoped the King and the new girl wouldn't fall behind and get trapped in the darkness, for it was not a good feeling, his breath rapid and his heart racing as looked behind him at the impossible scene unfolding before his blue eyes.
The Cornerstone of Light had turned into a Cornerstone of Darkness... how could Sora let such a thing happen!?
(OOC: Darkness has taken over Disney Castle, and thus a majority of the worlds. Terra and Mickey, you can make your exit posts so it's not just the one post, but it's been decided the Darkness has won this round. Should make for an interesting plot following up!)

[OOC: I'm very sorry, Ferser. Some troubles have been up on my side. Sorry again. I'm not sure if this post will get that long as this thread has been confusing me quite a bit lately.]
Yazoo noticed the reappearance of Sora's and the King's presences. But also another presence had appeared, it wasn't a Heartless, but it didn't seem that very dark either, so he expected another hero had appeared. Perhaps the news have spread somewhat. He thought to himself calmly as he continued onward after where he felt Sora's presence and went after him. It was the only entrance to the Cornerstone, so there was no way to go around the three presences.
The remnant was still cloaked in the robes of Organization XIII with hood over his head, making it impossible to see he was not one of the Nobodies. A calm smirk appeared hidden under the hood on his face as he continued his way towards the Cornerstone. There he could hear voices down, but then he could both hear and sense them move suddenly his way. Hmm? This confused him for only a second before he could feel an immense darkness. He didn't exactly needed to try and sense for it as he noticed it coming the way he was currently standing at.
Suddenly Sora appeared, coming up from where the Cornerstone stood. The cloaked man didn't speak a word and watched amused at Sora who just came running from the darkness. Apparently Ferser had more tricks than I expected. He thought and this suddenly brought a slight glimpse of fear in his 'heart'. Whether the other Horsemen had this same power. Such an immense darkness, he sensed out to Kadaj and tried to feel whether he was in danger, but felt nothing unusual... yet? He wasn't certain.

The Apocalypse Poison worked its magic faster than he expected... Was the cornerstone this weak against corruption? He did not care as his prey started running away from the darkness. Sora was climbing up the stairs as the walls, the ceiling and the floor was turning black. The color was following him as he was running away. "Hey hey, you think you can just run away like that?" He entered a portal and warped in the throne room just as he managed to get out of the stairway. He left his sword in the cornerstone, it didn't matter now if someone managed to pull it out, his second part of his plan was complete. He was there in front of the door of the throne room looking at Sora in the eyes at the oposite of that room.
"So... We're leaving already?" The heartless smiled at him evily. The walls of the once great and white throne room were now gray indicating that the world was slowly getting consummed by the darkness. "I'm not letting you leave this place alive." He said now serious.

(OOC: I'll post again to keep the posting order and to keep things moving, again sorry about the previous post Yazoo and Ferser. The order will go like this, unless it starts getting slow again in which case I will post again:
Sora - Terra Branford - King Mickey - Yazoo - Ferser - Sora)
Sora came running out of the Hall of the Cornerstone, looking over his shoulder to make sure his comrades were right behind him, hoping they could make it out before the darkness ensnared them. All he could smell was the overwhelming stench of darkness, which was a smell that felt like it was penertrating his nostrils every time he breathed it in, like heavy smog. As he came into the throne room, his azure eyes fell upon a figure in a black cloak with their hood up before him, halting him in his tracks. Could it be Riku, or Roxas, or one of the other Organization members? Their figure was tall and slim, so he had to guess it was not the former two, so what were they doing here?
Suddenly a portal appeared in front of the huge doorway that was the exit, and Sora growled as the Heartless man appeared. He didn't bother to answer Sora's questions, or that of his friends, instead taunting them that they were leaving so suddenly. The throne room was becoming corrupted in appearence as the pure white walls that resembled light started contrasting into grey, the darkness spreading throughout the structure. Sora went into a defensive stance as the human Heartless declared that the Keyblade Master would not be leaving here alive, and Sora hesitated, trapped between the encroaching darkness advancing behind them and the two dark figures in front of them. He had to get his friends out of there before they were swallowed by the darkness, and as Sora quickly thought on the spot, his heart had already decided on a logical course of action.
He turned to the King, who should have been right behind him, and Sora reached a hand up to own neck and tugged off the silver crown choker that had been his insignia for as long as he could remember. "Your majesty... here." he said sorrowfully, his angered expression having melted away into a sad one, placing the silver necklace in the palm of his hand. "Take care of her. And tell everyone I'm... sorry." he spoke in a quiet tone, hoping the King would show the memento to his friends, and looking to the young woman known as Terra Branford tried to put on a brave smile for her despite him looking terribly disheartened. "Thank you... I'll hold him off. Get out of here, and don't worry about me, it's my turn to hold back the darkness. Now, go!" The Heartless was focused on his destruction, so this was the only action that made sense, to help his friends escape to fight another day. Having said his goodbyes and with the look of sheer determination on his face because of his friends, he shouted out his final warning as he ran from Terra Branford and King Mickey with his keyblade raised to strike, at the Heartless known as Ferser.
"Move!"
He was not aiming at the cloaked man and planned to run past him, but if he tried to stop him, Sora would cut him down in the process of the sacrifice he was now willingly making for his friends.

Blue eyes widened, and the young woman merely stared at the corrupted Cornerstone.
Darkness was emanating from the orb, and she could see it reaching out. Wisps of shadow and of nightmares, which would swallow anything that got in the way. No darkness could possibly compare to her own haunting past, but Terra really did not want to find out. Cautiously, she hovered back, her heart beginning to race. Glancing back to the slightly younger boy beside her, she wondered if he knew what was happening. Most likely, as he had been before she had arrived. Terra swallowed nervously, but she remained determined. Exhaling slowly, she cast her gaze back to the Heartless, though she knew his plan had been accomplished. Even if she had not been here from the start, she lamented that the darkness had once more spread to another world. Biting her bottom lip for a moment, she felt her own instincts beginning to fight against her wish to stay and fight.
Terra glanced back to the Keyblader and the King.
Run? At this point, flight was the most intelligent move. Without questioning him, Terra suddenly began to fly after him. Her feet did not touch the floor, even as the darkness spread out toward them. Up the staircase, her heart began to beat heavily, and her pulse was ringing in her ears. How did this even happen? Shaking her head, the Esper hybrid merely hurried after the two light wielders. Terra managed to make it to what seemed like a throne room. Breathing heavily, the stench of the darkness overwhelmed her for a moment. The very essence of the shadows calling to the darkness within her own heart. Shivering at the thought, Terra managed to ignore. Never again. Her life was hers to choose as she would, and no one else would take her will from her again. Her thoughts were broken as the Heartless man suddenly appeared before them.
Hinder them?
Terra glared, and she looked to both the King and the light hearted boy. Without thinking, she was suddenly flying after the boy. He was running to his death, and she reached out her hand. Grasping the shoulder of the much smaller King, she dragged him with her. Terra outstretched her free hand, determined not let this Keyblader sacrifice himself so needlessly. "No! We'll all go together!" Without another word said, she grasped his shoulder tightly, and cast one last glare at the Heartless before her. A bright flash of light filled the throne room, and once is dissipated, all three Heroes were gone. To live and fight this never ending battle another day.
[Exit Terra. Along with King Mickey and Sora, unless they wish to make another post as well.]

It seemed like all of time had come to a standstill.
Sora ran toward the Heartless man, his big yellow and black shoes thumping on the ground like the echo of thunder, his heart hammering at a mile a minute. This is what he had decided... not escape, but oblivion. Soon, because of what he had failed to do, Disney Castle would soon be overshadowed with exteme darkness. What he had done - or more so what he had failed to prevent - he would atone for by staying behind to give his friends a chance of survival, and the rest of the people he cared about a chance to figure out what to do next to turn the Cornerstone back to normal. Mickey and Riku had done the same before, and now, it was his turn to make this sacrifice. It was the only choice he could see to salvage what was left of this onslaught, as he could not defeat the Heartless man in time before the darkness corrupted the entire room, trapping them forever in fulmilating darkness, a darkness Sora knew all too well he had felt plummeting into painfully before. Before he had taken up the keyblade as well, the darkness enshrouded him, trying to pull him into a depraving void of utter despair.
It always seemed like Sora was always plummeting, plundging into an unescapeable doom his heavy heart had no control over.
Those dark doubts lingered as he raced towards his demise, thinking that it was just, to right the wrongs he had made. His blue eyes fixed on Ferser sunk slightly low to the ground and back up again in solemn indifference, while his pulse raced at a mile a minute. Who would miss him when he was gone? Donald and Goofy would, but they would get over it in time, as would the King. Riku would take it hard, as would Roxas, but they wouldn't try to show it. Namine and Xion would be sad, but he didn't know them as well as his other friends, not having seen enough of them. And Kairi... she would be happier he was gone. Maybe she had forgotten their first kiss they had shared, however brief, and moved on with someone she had found more appealing to him. Just like what had happened three years ago when everyone had forgotten he had even existed, they could come to accept this now he was gone, even if they didn't forget.
The man in darkness loomed before him, waiting to take him to a place he would not return from, and Sora felt ready to go down fighting for the worlds his friends would soon find his absence with when Mickey produced his crown dogtag.
As he closed the distance towards his enemy darkly contrasted against walls of white, Sora suddenly had a new memory triggered in the back of his mind, or a similar event happening to him before. He remembered it because it was exactly the same situation in almost exactly a matching scene, fighting for a friend, but the man in black had a blurred image his memory could not see. That castle with white walls again though... it was not Disney Castle, but Sora felt that place was important to him. Not that it mattered now, racing towards an inevidable fate which would give him great suffering, and Sora almost found himself wishing he could have survived this to find out the truth behind these reoccuring new memories rising to the surface of his heart. His breathing slowed down dramatically, letting out a long, drawn-out sigh. If he would return to his friends with unwavering determination and meet her with a welcoming embrace... Sora felt those dreams were undeserving of him as not only a failure of a Keyblade Master but of a person as well.
But suddenly, as he had felt his heart was about to sink into the deepest darkness of which was the point of no return, a slender and gentle hand was placed on his shoulder. Sora only had enough time to turn around an inhale a surprised gasp at the fair-haired young woman who had touched him, shivering and trying to pull away under her touch, before he disappeared in a brilliant flash of light. No, he did not want her to touch him, he didn't want anyone touching him after what he had done!
No, he was not deserving of salvation. And yet, before Ferser, the Keyblade Master and his friends had disappeared in a flash of light, leaving him and Yazoo alone in the corroding throne room of Disney Castle.
Sora has left the thread.

As the world was sinking faster than he could ever expect from the stronghold of the light, Ferser was about to unleash his rage upon the young Keyblade Master when suddenly, a bright flash of light took him away in his instant of pure despair. Ferser let go a swearing as he tried to feel the others in the castle, but besides Yazoo, he couldn't feel any heart at all. Everyone was evacuated? Not possible, not after such a sudden attack... Somebody took everyone out. The lack of good hearted being made the world's demise faster, which was a good thing, but not a single heartless would be made.
After wiping the poison comming out of his mouth and losing his focus on his limit form, his skin taking its normal color once again... He started walking the unlit throne room as Yazoo was heading his way, probably... He looked at the shadowy and deserted castle he was in and started laughing a bit. As he got near the throne he jumped and landed on it in a lazy kind of way. His legs on the right side and his head leanning down on the other side he managed to get a victory once again for the darkness. Although hardly no victims were made he was still more than happy about this cath.
The cornerstone down there with his sword in it was now emitting darkness. He wondered if he would take this world's heart or just keep it as another stronghold of the darkness. After all, having walls like these changed from the deep rocky caverns of the end of the world he was used to. "Well in any case I'll be sumonning every single interesting heartless... I hope the other performed well." He said as he let his hand swings from left to right as he's thinking about things.

Disney Castle has been taken! [ Maurelle has entered this thread] Maurelle took a deep breath as she portalled into the throne room. "Ah, this is much better then that cave. I can't believe the plan worked!" Maurelle was looking around the room, humming lightly in a rather happy tone. This was great. Valerius would be here soon as would Stroud and that girl. Her eyes scanned the room for Yazoo, but he wasn't too important. Though, she did note Ferser lounging on the throne. "I hope you're comfortable. I believe you deserve a small prop for actually succeeding." Her voice had become emotionless again. If she really had feelings, and if the seat at the throne actually meant something or power, she might have been angry at his position. But they all knew Stroud was the heartless to put this in motion. That's what irritated her... She should have been able to take charge like that.
