[bg=000000][atrb=cellspacing,0px,true][atrb=padding,5px,true] "Tch," Vanitas started with the boy's first question. "Wouldn't you like to know?" So much for expecting the kid to realize the situation at hand and stick to it. The whole tone of the fight had mellowed out and there was no better way to say it than that the Dark Entity was bored. He already knew that the only reason they were here was to gather more info on the boy. Vanitas could feel everything the boy was going through. Anger, humiliation, pain, and worst of all doubt. The emotions were leaking from him and gave an awakening to his heart. Even Vanitas could feel the spirit within him growing impatient of being held in. Didn't the boy want revenge? Didn't he want to prove he was not as weak Vanitas clearly made him out to be. Even Master Xehanort's push to drive it out of him appeared to be for naught. Apparently his doubt wasn't strong enough. Gripping his keyblade tighter, he wanted nothing more than to just attack the kid until he released the darkness. But he and his Master were above that now. He was only a kid with a keyblade and from his battling he appeared to just receive the key. There would be more time to slowly pull it out of him and center in the control needed to reach his full potential. Then finally a name came. Night. Such an ironic name. Night was where the darkness spread with ease taking over any and all clear surfaces. Light could only a certain distance in the darkness and once it dimmed slightly the Darkness took over with such ease. Yet the boy appeared to be the lighthouse in the Night. Centering his Light to himself when the Darkness around him was waiting for him to lower his guard. Overhearing that he already knew about Vanitas made the Dark Entity proud of his reputation. He recalled that previous battle he had with the kid before he disappeared after catching him with an attack. It had been over ten years now since that battle in the Keyblade Graveyard. He was sure it could only be the Chaser's spreading his name and it was more complimentary than anything. That day he left a lasting memory within their heads possibly revealing to them how close he was to repeating history. As far as answering Night's question, he would leave that his Master. It was always enjoying to hear how he would answer those type of questions...IF he answered them at all. |
