The brilliant light magic barraged into the tremendous beast, letting out a vicious bellow in pain. The magic was blinding in it's eyes upon contact, veering off course and slamming into the wall. It's horns stuck there momentarily, becoming stationary was enough to get hit by the freelancer's Earth Manipulator. It roared in pain again, dislodging it's horns from the cavern wall as it stomped towards the two with it's massive girth... but slower.
The sword pierced in it's scaly hide also made it sluggish, a handicap having chipped away some of it's health. Stepping it way towards Terra at the speed one of them could casually walk, it targeted the brightly glowing young woman. The young man had finally gotten off it's back, but it was still a threat that needed to be dealt with. It lashed out as Felix feared with a Tail attack, but the red-headed male had already anticipated and dodged out of the way. Unfortunately for it the girl had already started up her Tornado attack, and one of the three tornadoes surrounding her literally swept it off it's feet once more.
Caught in the swirling winds around the powerful young woman, it circled her before the three smaller tornadoes joined up into one. In the eye of the storm of the larger tornado as it floated above her head, the powerful spell ripped with an utmost ferocity of lashing and cutting winds into the behemoth before dissipating to return it to the earth. It landed with another earth-shaking thud, and with the last of it's breath as it staggered it cast Meteor. Conjured from the roof of the cavern, several large rocks swathed in blazing fire pelted down from above, exploding into the earth around the two humanoids. The last crash was the most powerful of all, as the beast toppled over and crashed belly-first into the earth. A deep growl emitted from it's flaring nostrils before a deathly stillness, it's eyes no longer moving along with the rest of it's body. During the fight, the Behemoth's nest of animal bones and warrior's belongings lay scattered after being destroyed by the falling rocks and stalactites. And there, having spilled out of a treasure chest it had been carefully folded into, was Terra's beautiful silken cloak she had worn during her days of being a Warrioress of Cosmos.
Behemoth King has left the thread.

It was a good thing that Terra was still able to hold her Esper Form for this long, as the Meteor spell that the monstrosity conjured in its death throes was something far more difficult to evade than a few simple icicles. Those didn't burn as they travelled past. Thankfully her lithe figure and present gliding ability allowed Terra to work her way around, darting around each of the comets and twisting her body about once more, but the searing heat from the falling rocks managed to singe her in places, leaving her with visible black marks... it was a case of just gritting her teeth and bearing it - she knew the spell didn't last long.
Upon the Meteo spell ending it's rain of destruction upon a mostly empty cavern floor, Terra alowed herself to drift slowly back down to ground level, landing delicately upon her toes. As she landed, that same bright light that transformed her into her Esper Form, shone once again. As was to be expected, Terra had reverted back out of her Trance. Her frizzy pink hair had returned to it's former curly emerald locks. The first thing Terra felt was relief that the battle was finally over. It wasn't as hard the last time she had to do it, but back then, she had many more allies and they were far more adept in combat.
But Terra knew she had improved far beyond those days. After breathing a sigh of relief, she quickly found the hole that the thieves had nestled their belongings in, including her cloak. That cloak was the symbol of her improvement. A symbol of her memories and to her friends, a symbol of her. As she unfolded it, she recalled the memories of her fellow Warriors... Cloud, Onion Knight, Vaan... They'd all taught her important lessons. After letting her cloak loose, she took the two clasps attached to it's top and wrapped them around her collar, attaching them. It resembled a small golden necklace from the front.
She turned about, allowing the cloak to sway and follow. As she turned, she saw the belongings of the thieves, but no signs of their bodies. Terra was in-fact thankful of this. It meant they had gotten away before the beast got to them. It was they that had found her cloak and brought it here and in a way, Terra would have thanked them for finding it. Whether they would've appreciated it or not was beyond her train of thought. Finally, she stopped and looked over to her accomplice, Felix.
"Thank you for helping me, Felix. I've found something precious to me here..." she trailed off, letting her memories catch up once again. "We should best head back. My friends will be waiting for me by now." she finished, walking up to the young redhead and bowing her head slightly. A polite gesture, but it was one Terra was comfortable with. Handshakes, hugs... perhaps not so much. As she left the cave, one thought did cross her mind...
Her time in World B. Kefka was there, alive and well, at least until Terra conquered him in battle. She was still unsure about her idea, but the fear of Kefka's return was still strong in her... perhaps her ruined world was about to be besieged once more.

The freelancer smiled lightly as his attack had been successful and the beast had also been picked up by the tornado. It was thrown about violently, the three tornados converging and causing what surely was massive damage. He mouthed a silent “Wow” looking over to the girl that had performed such an attack and noticing her rather peculiar appearance. He shrugged it off as quickly as he noticed it though, falling down on the cavern floor beneath him as he panted heavily. Though his breaths were heavy and the pain that racked his body was immense, that smile quickly curved into a grin at his victory and having completed his mission. He would then attempt to get up but before he could so much as inch forward, the behemoth had decided to leave a parting gift. His grin turned sheepish at the sight, a sigh escaping his lips.
“Shit...” he cursed as he began to roll, avoiding the fiery rocks of death, “Shit, shit, shit, shit!” he shouted, his dodging erratic and nothing like the fancy footwork he had shown before. As the meteors began to lessen though and he felt it safe to stop, Felix would let out a sigh of relief as he wiped his brow,
“Whew! That was too close!” he would exclaim but as if on cue, the last meteor that was a bit smaller than the most would hit him in the head. He let out an audible grunt, crashing into a pile of rocks beneath him as his rocky armor fell off and he shook his head lightly. He regained his bearings soon after, finding his ripped shirt among the pile of rocks he laid on and quickly fastening it around his wound as a makeshift bandage. It stopped the bleeding for the moment, although he wasn't going to be moving without a moment's rest, his bones a little more than achy, and his muscles a little more than strained. Despite the pain that racked his body though, his grin quickly came over his face again, having insured that his success rate didn't drop even a percent lower. Although the question of how his client was doing was still on his head and before he could attempt to scan the area for her, she had already stepped toward him.
"Thank you for helping me, Felix. I've found something precious to me here..." she started, pausing for a moment as if remembering something, "We should best head back. My friends will be waiting for me by now." and finished with that before quickly taking her leave. A vein bulged in the freelancer's forehead as he clenched his right fist, his teeth gritted tightly.
“Oh don't mention and go ahead and leave, not like I need any help getting up after being thrown about like a ragdoll! Not that it matters though, it's not like were in a den where thieves may return and decide to take care of the intruder inside!” he shouted and while he had planned to go further, the broken ribs made him flinch in pain as a hand went to clutch his side. Yet again another sigh escaped his lips as he struggled to get back up, completely exhausted from the battle. He then hobbled over to the slain beast, shifting through it's belly with a noticeable disdain before retrieving his katana covered in rather... “icky stuff”.
“Ewww... I really hope this smell comes out,” he commented as he swung the blade away from him in attempt to get most of the gook off. He would then attempt to use the beast's own hide to wipe off any excess before cutting off it's mane with a percise slash. He sheathed his blade as he grabbed as much of the mane he could with both hands, a chuckle escaping his lips at the thought of wearing the mane as a neck warmer. If not, at the very least it could possibly fetch a nice price on the market since his client had walked out without paying, a trend that was getting annoyingly common.
“Well at the very least...” he started as he begun to leave the cave himself, “she owes me a favor now... and I always collect on a debt!” he finished, walking out the cave with a grin that shined as brilliantly as the sun baring down upon him.
