Shot Put is the event of throwing a heavy metal ball as far as possible on a field. Gloves are not allowed to be used in this event. The shot (ball) must be released about the height of the thrower's shoulder. The thrower may only use one hand. You may not step out of the circle/stopboard. The shot must land in the legal sector of the field. You will have one post to show off and throw the ball. Powers are prohibited in all events. In order to determine the order, the staff will be rating the posts on these qualities: Dice Roll, Creativity, Descriptiveness, and Realism. The Dice Roll will need to be rolled with a 20 sided dice. This will help to determine the distance your character has thrown the shot. When you post, you are to click the button or to use the following code: [dice=X] The number inside the code is the number of sides on the die. For this event you will need a 20! The number equals how many feet you throw it. ----- "This arena is for the Shot Put, for you guys that can't run. I guess you're all lame in that manner. Anyway, no throwing the shots at each other. Don't do anything to get yourselves in trouble either! Each of you will go one at a time to throw the metal balls. Make sure you don't break any of the rules!" Larxene took a few strides to be out of the throwing zone. "Reminder, no powers! Now go for it."Members to Post:

Silv sat on a bench away from it all after signing up. In her hands was a book with an explanation on how this ‘shot put’ worked. It contained the rules and that, so she could actually work this out. Apparently she was not allowed to use her powers, but that didn’t matter. The only this that bothered her was how she needed to throw.
They weren’t allowed to wear gloves, Silv never wore gloves. Apparently the shot needed to rest close to the neck, wonder how that fat dog-thing would do that... She then looked at the ice titan, it did have a neck. The shot had to be released above the shoulder, so pushing it away above the shoulder. Which retard invented this sport?
Some judge person was now explaining the arena, she seemed familiar, but Silv didn’t care. The girl walked over towards the circle and picked up one of the balls... a heavy metal ball... Did they think ‘shot’ in cannon, but then arm cannon? The idea appealed to her, maybe she should think of creating a technique that mimicked this trick.
Silv placed the shot to her neck as she took place in the circle while looking over where she planned to throw. Too bad she couldn’t hit anyone, maybe she could open a Corridor under a random person in the arena and drop them in the area for her to hit. Oh well... she figured that now she was trying, she shouldn’t be getting herself disqualified. No powers after all.
She placed her foot forward as she bend her body backwards. This she followed with a pushing motion above her shoulder to push away the shot and throw it away in the hopes to make the best throw of this game as first thrower.[rand=35670649366844143022468156527130516421296564832322639250482416392]

[dice=20] ------------------------------------------ Hydros smiled as the human stepped up and threw her shot put. It wasn't a bad throw . . . he had expected worse.
This contest was of Greek origin an "Olympic games" they honored Zeus and were named after Mt. Olympus. While Hydros wasn't crazy about the honoring Zeus bit, he did want to compete . . . even he wasn't sure why though. Shot Put was throwing a heavy ball as far as it was possible. Oddly though the technique was more or less the same as for Javelin. The titan tossed a ball between his hands, this seemed like he was wasting time but he was actually getting used to the weight so it didn't seem as hard to through.
He wasn't aloud gloves or powers. neither of these things bothered Hydros as neither of them would have helped him. The Ice Titan smiled cockily he had immense strength this event should be good.
Hydros looked around then walked into the circle. The Titan lifted his left leg and curled it in. He pumped the ball forward and back by his neck a couple off times. Then with all his strength he threw his leg down creating a small shock wave from the strength of the impact and pushed the ball off his hand with the power that was being transferred to his hand.
He just hoped the ball didn't slide off his hand rather than flying forward like it should.[rand=967357190113417564502251863460145566756191052953628656030988677]

This next entrant definitely wouldn't fit in with any kind of running event. As Pete waddled his way into the circular boundry that would serve as a boundry for the weight toss. With a cocky grin and a can-do attitude, the Heartless commander looked at the official before continuing.
"You may start as soon as you are ready."
"Watch here as I show these chumps who's the best around here."[/b]
Pete readied the spherical weight at the space between his jaw and his shoulder. He braced himself by bending his knees and sticking his opposite elbow out to even his balance. He then made his first attempt at a throw. He took a small sliding step towards the front of the circle only to have his forward foot catch on the ground below him and the overweight dog-man-thing smashed his forhead off the ground below.
"Ow! ow! ow! ow! ow!... ... ...I meant to do that, see. I wanted to give these numbskulls a fair advantage!"[/b]
Pete quickly rebounded to his feet and retreated to the exit of the circle. Now facing away from the crowds and judge he reached a hand up and quickly rubbed the now-sore area of his face. He didn't retreat for long as he quickly turned and once again faced the crowd for his next attempt at a winning-throw.
Pete readied the shotput once more and readied his stance once more. This time, as he slid towards the center of the circle, he accidentally lost his footing and fell on his behind, smashing his tail-bone off the hard cement surface below. Now angered, Pete quickly rose and stared down the laughing crowd around him.
"Shaddap or I'll give you the old one-two!"[/b]
Finally, Pete was able to make a successful throw by sliding towards the front of the circle and throwing his weight forward in a spinning motion as the spherical weight made its eventual release towards the field ahead for Pete's final successful throw.[rand=047151813819027546541126378922065990868414206183515767316995853314]
