A Corridor of Darkness opened up within the vicinity of Radiant Garden's capital town, a province that had yet to be given it's own name, and rather continued to reflect the title bestowed upon the world every time it was referred to. It was a town that strongly reflected the state of the world it sat upon, for so as long as any individual could remember, the alignment of this place had remained swayed betwixt the forces of Light and Dark. There was no continuous factor when it came to the variable of Ansem the Wise's former kingdom, save for the sole fact that there remained a consistent variable in change. Change was what shaped the fate of Radiant Garden, and it's past was all the evidence anyone would need to acknowledge the proof of such a statement. From the sieges of Unversed, to Maleficent's control over the world by means of Heartless, to the Battle of 1000 Heartless provoked by the Nobodies, Radiant Garden itself had become a world bred for battle and conflict. If it were enough that wielders of the Keyblade had tried time and time again to safeguard the state of the world, many would remain certain that the world now sharing a shuttle system with Traverse Town was safe, however the forces of the Darkness remained adamant enough to withhold their control upon it. No matter who stepped foot upon the ashen, purple soil of the world, the last war brought on by the Horsemen convinced many of the Dark that this was a vital means of headquarters on which to hold onto. However what none of the minions of the Dark had anticipated, was the necessary clause of balances, which every sensible wielder of the Keyblade was sworn to uphold. Master Xehanort was one of these few who continued to wield the key, who continued to see the whole spectrum of things without a biased opinion concerning the details.
No a man such as Xehanort was above such trifling things, and garnered a perspective that placed him not only on the battlefield, but in a position to control it through means of forces that remained unseen. He had gone to the trouble to secure and put forth several plans into motion, and had come here to the former capital of the Light as a way of upholding his current ruse of an alliance with that of Eraqus. It was doubtless that the trust of many would be in his good graces should he succeed in his endeavor here today, and would only further convince his old friend that the words of their shared conversation in the Realm of Twilight were indeed true. As the figure of the old Master emerged from the bowels of the Dark Corridor, Xehanort's sienna eyes surveyed the vicinity before the doorstep of Merlin's house before casually dismissing his means of arrival. Already he could sense the strong presence of another heart, one that harbored an ill will towards that of the otherworldly, and a strong mixture of both Light and Dark. Xehanort paid no concern to the aura of an individual who had yet to approach the Keyblade Master, however he would retain acknowledgement of it for the sole sake of remaining aware, and dissolve any hope of being caught off guard.
It wouldn't be long before he would witness some form of resistance to his ambition for Radiant Garden, so Xehanort knew he would have to work with the utmost haste in order to set things into motion. The elderly Keyblade Master slowly extended his right hand, and in a bright flash of Light, Roads of Equality; the Master's black and white weapon of choice, was summoned to his firm grasp at his mere whim. The Dark Master lowered the weapon to his side, then slowly proceeded through the streets of Radiant Garden towards the staircase leading to the Bailey. Sienna eyes regarded the ascending structure, then turned their attention back towards the Marketplace beyond Merlin's. In an instant the Master found himself surrounded by a troop of Shadow Heartless, no doubt drawn to the Keyblade he possessed, and the amount of Light that resided within his heart at the moment. His heart's intentions betrayed him to the Darkness that was usually controlled quite easily, for even neutrality was not immune to the likes of the Heartless it seemed. No matter, Master Xehanort retained an unwavering stature in his resolve, and no form of Light's counterpart would turn him from what he had set out to accomplish today. With two quick slashes and a single step forward, the Shadows found themselves felled before the might of the Master, disappearing into blackened mist back to the depths of Darkness, releasing many bright crystalline hearts into the air as they did so.
With a slow closing of his eyes, Master Xehanort disappeared instantly as he was overtaken by orbs of Darkness, utilizing his Teleport ability as he reappeared before the firmly shut gates of the Bailey seconds later. Xehanort stood there in silence for a moment, taking the time to gaze off to the left towards the barely visible structure of Villain's Vale off in the distance. Beyond the balcony of the Bailey it was easy to discern the former headquarters of Maleficent and her many pawns, and the sight provoked an intriguing question within the mind of Xehanort as he moved onward through the shadows of the stone structure. Did the Heartless still breed and infest the area surrounding the old keep? It was an interesting notion to ponder to say the least, however it remained irrelevant to the matter at hand. Nearing the end of the tunnel from the Bailey's gates, Xehanort turned to the staircases outside, and came to stop upon the topmost stair as he raised his free left hand to the sky. For a moment Xehanort stood there in silence, holding his hand up as he slowly waved it about as though he were feeling for something. Finally after several moments of this, sienna eyes opened abruptly to accompany the sinister smirk of triumph that spread across the elderly man's face. The Dark Master took a single step back, lowering his hand in the process. "Now to remedy this mistake." he spoke solemnly to himself, then pointed his Keyblade toward the air he had been surveying seconds before. A thin light then beamed out of the end of Xehanort's Keyblade, exploding into a bright shower of sparkles as it finally connected with the world's Keyhole. More moments passed as the light continued to bombard the darkened Keyhole, until at last Xehanort lowered his Keyblade to gaze upon the sight of a world becoming Neutral. He had directly tampered with the alignment of the world, initiating it's eventual change from the Darkness to a state between both conflicting forces. Soon this world would no longer harbor the Darkness and remain infested with an abundance of Heartless, for the Keyhole had just been scheduled to reseal itself.
It was far from over though, for Master Xehanort knew through an inertia feeling that such a simple task would not be so easily completed without strife. It remained doubtless that resistance was on it's way, and soon it would be possible that he would have to fend off whatever the Darkness sent. Master Xehanort was not in the least bit worried though, for without a Keyblade the opposing force would be hard pressed to stop him, and no amount of Darkness could corrupt the Keyhole again as fast as he had remedied it. In truth the Dark Master knew that such a feat would take weeks at best, for the elements moved much slower without the aide of the Keys. As he made his way back to the gates of the Bailey, Master Xehanort stopped and gazed back out to Villain's Vale once more. The sun was setting, and soon the night would be upon the world, blanketing the town in moonlight. If a battle were to draw in the Master, it remained certain that Darkness would have a slight advantage, however it's forces wouldn't account for the fact that they weren't fighting any naive warrior sent by the Light. It remained Darkness against Darkness.
So come what may. Abilities Used ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Teleportation – Through the power of Darkness, Master Xehanort is able to willingly teleport himself around the battlefield, disappearing in a cluster of black orbs that slowly fade into nothing following the usage of this ability. He often combines this effort with vicious combos and Dark spells, however it can be used by itself if necessary too. 1 post cool down.

Dr. Cid was hanging on to the side of his Atomos replica as it flew towards the town, a triumphant sneer plastered across his face. He had just acquired information about the Heartless, very eye-opening information at that. With it, he could study the Heartless further and see if he could find a means to control them and collect the hearts they gathered. If he could collect enough hearts, he could easily study them and see how he could use their power for his own gain. It was simple, but effective. Such power could easily turn him into the god that he could have been. The God that would be free from the chains of Fate! Oh, how he detested those brats for interrupting his life's work! It was clear that the Dynast-Cryst's power, while immense, was not nearly close enough to transform into the god he had so longed to become. Plus, these heartless could provide easy assistance in dealing with Morality's slaves, like that Leon brat and his cronies.
Dr. Cid flew over the town, staring down at it as one would stare at ants. Suddenly, using a remote control, he stopped the ship as something caught his eye. A figure had just used some sort of... well, teleportation was all Cid could think of, to appear right in town. Dr. Cid was amazed. On his world, no human had truly accomplished any viable means of instant transportation and yet this person had done it before Dr. Cid's bespectacled eyes. Dr. Cid hovered closer to the ground, intrigued by this man. As he lowered himself, he noticed that this man was rather old, at least seventy by Cid's estimation and hunched over. But even Dr. Cid could gather that his age and posture did not convey his true power. Such a man who could appear anywhere he wanted to with but a mere thought was not one to be trifled with. But even as observed this elderly man, he could almost feel the power brimming from him. And such an immense power it was. The only thing that remotely measured up to it was Venat, the rogue Occuria, a God!
Then the man conjured his weapon out of thin air, with a brilliant flash of light and Dr. Cid's eyes lit up as well. Looking over the weapon, the appearance matched the description in the notes he had acquired. This was the legendary Keyblade, the only weapon that could release a heart captured by the Heartless. This man had untold power of the Heartless and could no doubt help him collect the hearts by releasing them with that weapon of his. And even better, he used it so freely. It was clear from his demeanor that there was no one who could or would stop him, even if they tried to. No man nor any God. In short, this was the man he had been searching for since he came here. Dr. Cid commanded his ship to fly away a bit, but he continued to follow this man. He was a scientist, after all, and he would not be content if he could not see the application of this man's power to a real-life threat.
After a while of following this man, Dr. Cid was worried that he was merely watching someone enjoying the scenery. Then, the Heartless showed up. They were the "Shadow" variants Dr. Cid had encountered so many times before. They seemed to be the most common and, thus, the weakest of the lot. If Dr. Cid's postulations were correct, then this elderly individual should have no problem with them and indeed, he didn't. In fact, much to the mad scientist's delight, the Shadows were treated much like pieces of paper that had encountered a particularly forceful wind. The old man had been no more inconvenienced by these aberrants than one would be inconvenienced by an ant or a puff of air. Dr. Cid was delighted. He could not be happier if he was that man himself. Of course, eventually that would be the case, but right now, the Imperial Scientist was content on observing. Then the old man seemingly teleported to the gate up ahead. Either that or he moved so fast that for a small instant, he had disappeared. Dr. Cid could not believe what he had seen. The only time he had seen such an ability was when he did it against that traitorous Gabranth, but he required the help of Venat to do that. This man did it without any outside help whatsoever. Dr. Cid wondered if it was his birthday already.
But amazingly, it got better. Dr. Cid watched as the old man pointed the Keyblade at the sky. Then he fired a beam into it, parting the clouds as it rocketed through the skies. As it reached a certain point, exploded in a shower of sparkles, revealing a Keyhole shaped object in the sky, Darkness emanating from it. Dr. Cid regarded it as both the most beautiful and yet, the most terrifying thing he had seen. But then he had noticed that the Light that had emanated from the old man's was not just making the Darkness going away but rather mingling with it. Dr. Cid smiled. This man was truly a prodigy without peer, his power unrivaled. He had found the one who would help him achieve unlimited power. Dr. Cid then realized something. There had to be those enslaved to Darkness, just as there were those who were enslaved to the Light. They would surely want to come and kill this man... Well, Dr. Cid couldn't have that. Not when this man had knowledge beyond his wildest imagining.
Dr. Cid flew the Atomos down to the ground near the old man and jumped off. He pressed a few buttons and the gummy ship flew off towards the other castle, now far into the distance. He strode over to the man, not being able to hold back his smile, which, while sincere, it was not without deviousness along with its clear admiration. Dr. Cid had no intention of using this man. That would be a fatal mistake to underestimate a man of such power. But his knowledge... Dr. Cid had a lot of use for that. He was stroking his beard, his mind calculating a million possibilities at once. If his estimates were true, the Forces of Darkness would attack soon. Now would also be a good opportunity to see this old man's prowess against equal opponents. Dr. Cid could never have enough data to come to a conclusion.
"My, my, my..." Dr. Cid said, as he circled the man, studying him. "So this is the Keyblade of legend. I have heard so little about it, to see it in action is quite the occasion. And I must say, it is a magnificent weapon without peer. A fitting weapon for an equally peerless man of your power. I have no idea if you realize this, but I have been observing you since you've entered the city with your... odd transportation. You seem to be a man with immense knowledge. I am a scientist from a different world, if you will, and I have taken great pains in trying to acquire information about this dimension. However, I have been stymied at every turn by individuals who enslaved to their ideals and their morals. On this world, for example. A group of individuals have access to an entire repository of information about this and other worlds! I'm sure there's even more information to be tapped into. But they avariciously guard it for their own use!"
"But you!" Dr. Cid continued. Going at great length about various topics was his forte. "You wield your power without fear of others, be they man or God or Fate! You are clearly not enslaved to any ideal! You have obtained ultimate freedom in wrestling the Reins of History and putting them back in the hands of Man!" Dr. Cid's excitement eventually died down and he pushed his spectacles up with his two fingers as he regained his composure. "I, for one, would be eager to learn from such a knowledgeable individual as yourself. But, of course, why should you take on the pupil if you do not know what the pupil is capable of on his own? Any real scientist or man of your stature would balk at taking on any peasant and street rat! Likewise, I wish to see more of your power in action. So I propose an... experiment, of sorts."
"That display of power was quite a sight to see. If I had guess at what you did, you tapped into the power of this very world and mixed the Darkness inherent in it with some of your Light, as it were. Such an act would naturally insult every Dark creature within the vicinity and maybe those on other worlds. They will nature want to come here and annihilate the perpatrator, a.k.a. you. While I have no doubt you would be able to handle them on your own, a little help would be appreciated, no? You would get to see what I'm capable of and judge whether or not I am an acceptable pupil. I would get to see more of this power you wield and how to achieve such an impressive feat! What say you, sir?" Dr. Cid smiled again, a genuine one, a rare feat for him. He hoped he would accept the offer. Dr. Cid was not one to let opportunities like this slip by him.

Shock still rang through every pore in Terra’s body. He couldn’t understand how someone could gain so much power; he couldn’t understand how someone could overtake Stroud so easily. Enough time had passed since the epic encounter, and Terra should have been able to get over seeing the massive sword erupt through Stroud’s abdomen, but apparently a week wasn’t enough time to heal his pride.
He still had no clue as to what agenda he would arrive at in order to quell the mysterious threat, but it would have to be a speedy one. The masked man that ended the final battle of Kingdom Hearts would surely have a plan of his own, and that could lead to everyone’s hasty demise if he didn’t do something. What was that something? What on earth could he do to prevent such a powerful being from gaining whatever he desired?
Absolutely nothing.
Not right now anyway. Terra didn’t have the strength of heart to defeat such an opponent, but he needed to. The one named Sora that he’d met a time or two in passing couldn’t always be around to save the day, and he shouldn’t have to be. Terra should have been capable to defeat such a foe before he could escape, but nobody was even able to stop and catch a name. They had no idea who they were even after, and the only thing they had to go by was that damned mask.
Terra found himself wandering through the various pathways and trails outside the main city of Radiant Garden. He wasn’t sure how he’d wandered this far from town, but nevertheless he was here now, and he was certain he saw a keyhole in the sky, and it was filled with darkness. Immediately the bronze keyblader darted forward towards the Bailey. Once he got within visual range, Terra couldn’t help but see the elderly abomination of a man sending a stream of energy from the tip of his keyblade into the keyhole in the sky. All he saw was Master Xehanort and a strange middle-aged man filling the keyhole with darkness, instead of what was actually happening. Immediately, Terra summoned his own keyblade, Ends of the Earth, and sent a rivaling beam of energy into the primary stream. The result was a struggle between the twin rays and a shower of sparks as Terra’s keyblade fought against Roads of Equality.
”Xehanort! How could you corrupt this world with all of these people around?! Do you have any decency left in you?” [/b] He wasn’t paying a bit of attention to the military genius behind the master keyblader. All he was concerned about was finally ending the despicable menace that had been the cause of everything evil in every world. He would stop Xehanort here and now if he had to. No matter what the cost.[/blockquote]

As expected, more had come.
His foresight never seemed to present himself with a flaw in the past, nor this present day either it would appear, for his calculations had proven successful once again. Master Xehanort allowed the first man to approach, taking in his features with an occasional glance of sienna whenever he chose to take his eyes off the evolving keyhole above. Xehanort listened to every word that had come out of this man's mouth, however paid no mind to the over excessive use of flattering behavior, for most of the ideals spoken of he had already heard one too many times before. A scientist from another world he had said, no doubt a ravenous collector of information and data to appease the insatiable hunger his mind held for new knowledge. The Dark Master had encountered men like this before, and he knew well enough how to deal with someone so overly eager to obtain power as mightily as the Keyblade. Such were the times now however, as it seemed that everyone and their mother were after the most prized weapon of all, which was coincidentally what he himself had been after for some time now. The X-Blade was a very powerful item, enough that it only belonged in the hands of those who truly knew the capabilities of it, as well as someone who knew full well enough how to properly utilize these same capabilities without tearing apart the fabrication of all that was connected. This silver haired man, his allies, and even this man before him now were all the same, simply desiring power with no means of properly using it. To become a god with the power of Kingdom Hearts required more than simple villainous intentions; it required a true tactician, an individual of immense wisdom whose will remained dissuaded from the corruption of the elements and their power. Xehanort knew that he alone was capable of obtaining such a feat, for the fabled weapon had been within his grasp of control before.
Such remained his opinion of all who stood in his way, naught but inferior beings who could never fathom such a control, such freedom. "The knowledge of the Keyblade is not for those faint in heart, as is the very reasoning for why a man such as yourself does not possess one of his own." began Xehanort as he slowly took his eyes from the Keyhole, and glanced upon the thin spectacles that lined the man of science's eyes. It remained true to fact that men who spent their lives understanding nature could fathom a susceptible amount, even perhaps come to terms with how the matters of the Heart worked, yet their heart remained too frail within it to allow themselves the power that came with the Keyblade. "You seem highly knowledgeable sir, so it will remain to be seen if you are worthy of my time and information of such power." he added on, however his train of thought had then been entirely derailed as another beam of light shot into the Keyhole, disrupting it's process in change to Neutrality from Darkness. This man and himself had been correct in assuming servants of the Dark would arrive to challenge his efforts, however the individual that stepped out of the shadows from the interior of the Bailey, was not whom Xehanort expected.
The Dark Master let a cruel smile escape his lips as Terra made his presence known, questioning the old man's decency in a very bad presumption. How naive this boy still was, to think that Xehanort had come here to turn a world in Darkness to the Darkness. Such a feat was unobtainable without corroding and destroying the Heart of the World itself, yet such ignorance was to be expected of Eraqus' former pupil. The old man merely shook his head in reply, before slowly opening his eyes to observe Terra as Roads of Equality was lowered to his side. "Master Terra, a pleasure it is. However I dare say that it is quite rude to make a bleak judge of character based upon a rather shallow assumption." A white gloved hand rose to gesture to Terra, then to the Keyhole, then finally the area around the three individuals. "This world was corrupted some time ago, no doubt during your commendable efforts against Stroud. I am here to simply remedy the mistake the brave Warriors of Light allowed to occur." added the old man in reply, clenching his hand into a fist for emphasis on the last sentence. He lowered his hand once more following this, then turned his gaze back to the Keyhole, allowing a disappointed expression to cross his face. It was truly an inconvenience to have one of Eraqus' pawns interfere with something bear such significant importance, however it occurred to the Dark Master that there remained the possibility that not everyone had been made aware of what was transpiring. Terra of course would naturally be one of these individuals left in the dark, so it only seemed fitting that he required a brief explanation, like so many times in the past.
"Much has happened since you and your allies traversed into the Realm of Darkness after the Horsemen, that of which Master Eraqus and I are working tirelessly to prevent. Do you wish to know the truth, Terra? Or would you rather strike me down with your Keyblade, and continue to wander the depths of Darkness with only your naive conclusions as your only companion?" proposed Master Xehanort, placing a hand softly upon his chest as he regarded Terra with a serious demeanor. Already he could sense the arrival of another presence, and strangely enough it felt similar to an individual he had met before, yet different in some way. Was it the silver haired man? It was certainly worth wondering, however Xehanort knew full well that this brief reunion of Master and Apprentice would soon be interrupted. It made no difference to Master Xehanort whom it was, for the ball would remain in his court even if he were to be turned away. He eagerly awaited Terra's choice though, to learn of the next road to traverse, or to blindly stumble down it's path to a grim fate.

Master Xehanort's senses were not failing him. There was indeed another character making their way to the world of Darkness that was Radiant Garden. Though Terra whom interrupted the actions the old Keyblader had a heart of Light, the one approaching at a steady speed had a heart that was as black as the midnight sky. There was no reason for the silver-haired youth, Leader of the Remnants to come to this world, bar 2 exceptions. The first was if someone had trying to tamper with the alignment of which this worlds core lay. It had been a while, but it was the Remnant youth himself who turned this world away from the Light and into the depths of Darkness while the first attack on Kingdom Heart's was being carried out. Kadaj sensed it. A massive gathering of both heroes and villains in one location. It was the perfect chance to go about conquering the worlds for the Darkness. But now someone was trying to change it, change the core back to the Light, perhaps? Unacceptable!
The second exception was if one of the few Keybarers that dotted the worlds of Kingdom Hearts were to show up here. Luck would have it that two decided to show up at once, however one was not as familiar in terms of their heart's aura as the other was. What was clear was that the hearts were totally opposite and one clearly belonged to that of Terra, a man whom Kadaj had crossed paths with once in the past along with 'Artemis', the Black Angel. The pair fought but Kadaj came out the victory, just about. Unfortunately, the male Keybarer fled before Kadaj could neither finish him off or probe him for information. Things were different now though. The Leader of the Remnant's had gained much strength and the outcome of a battle would most definitely be different this time around. Besides, Kadaj wasn't searching for Terra just to fight him. There was other reasons, greater desires, more important goals to accomplish. As beset to him by his older 'brother' Sephiroth, Kadaj was tasked to find the X-Blade and return it to him. Terra seemed a more experienced then that twerp Sora, so perhaps he knew something of the said Keyblade?
A Dark Portal groans into existence not too far away from HQ of the Restoration Committee, out which stepped the leather clad figure of the silver-haired Remnant. Bright turquoise eyes glanced about to see what was going on, but nothing seemed present. It only took a moment though for him to sense the presences of both Terra and two unfamiliar beings not too far away, in the direction of the Bailey. The Keyhole within the sky was clear enough for all to see however and truth be told, this was actually the first time Kadaj had ever seen one. What was it doing up there? Who had a key big enough to fit into it? It was only when, at closer examination, did Kadaj spot the two beams shooting into it from different directions. Was that possible the 'core' of this world? A Keyhole in the sky? Two beams of light? There were two presences of this world that as mentioned before, felt like Keybarers... was this only something that a Keybarer could use? So many questions... It would seem that the silver-haired youth would need to ask Terra much more then simply the location of the X-Blade.
Nevertheless, Kadaj moved on. He sprinted towards a nearby building before leaping up onto it;s roof, before speeding across it's surface, hopping from one building to another until he swiftly approached the Bailey. Then there he was, the figure of Terra, standing with his back to the Remnant, all attention on the Keyhole and the two other figures further away. Kadaj raised an eyebrow, arms folded across his chest as he casually, calmly strode up beside Terra, coming to a stand still just inside his peripheral vision. "Seems like you always look for trouble." The Remnant said, his voice soft and quiet, loud enough only for Terra to hear. His brightly glowing eyes peered towards Xehanort and the other men beside him, wondering where he'd seen the older Keybarer from before. Nothing seemed to come to mind and thus he glanced back at Terra once more. "I guess you're too busy to have a conversation?" Kadaj asked, seemingly acting oblivious to the situation at hand. Kadaj never really cared for what others did unless it involved Yazoo, Loz or Cloud. However he was curious and certainly had many questions to ask the Light Keybarer.

Cid nearly faltered at the old man's first statement. For but an instant, he was worried this opportunity was going to pass him up. Then the old man continued and Dr. Cid smiled. He would not fail this man. He'd rather die than do something so moronic. "Thank you for agreeing to this experiment of ours. I assure you that I will do my best to prove myself." Dr. Cid bowed but then noticed that the old man was looking up. The scientist did the same and noticed a rival beam of light. He looked over and saw a much younger man also wielding a Keyblade. The old man and the boy exchanged words. From the sound of things, they were old enemies and had been at their throats for a long time. The good doctor sneered, enjoying the conversation. The brat, despite obtaining the old man's power, clearly did not know his place and was even completely misinformed as to what was going on.
Then another boy came up, dressed in leather. The boy seemed to be enjoying the situation as much as he was. He sneered and chuckled a bit, deciding not to go to full-on maniacal laughter. Didn't seem like the time. "Tch... these brats don't know how to properly respect their elders. Such a tragedy in this day and age that we have to deal with such impertinence. I will not be defeated by slaves to ideals!" Dr. Cid then pulled something out of his pocket and tossed to the ground. There was a flash of light and four machines started orbiting around the scientist as he pulled out his long-barreled pistols. The machines started casting spells on Dr. Cid as he backed away a little. He would let the old man deal with them up close while he provided support.

Did he really just say he was trying take the darkness from this world? Why would he lie so blatantly?
Years ago, when Terra had just begun his training under Master Eraqus, he heard the name ‘Xehanort.’ The way Master Eraqus talked about him led Terra to believe he was a saint; he believed Master Xehanort deserved to be held in as high regard as the various saviors throughout history. Now, Terra knew him better than to call him anything but a plague to all who are disgraced with the sight of those damned sienna eyes.
”You say you’re trying to remove the darkness from this world, but your actions have betrayed your lies.” [/b] First, he says he’s trying to save the worlds, and now he says he’s working with Master Eraqus?! Does he think Terra’s just so gullible that he’d believe and impossibility like that? It was just then that another presence approached the area, one Terra definitely didn’t expect given the last few times they met. The tiniest Remnant, Kadaj, had arrived on the scene, and apparently he wanted a word with the former apprentice of Xehanort. It would have to wait, that’s for sure, because Terra had much more pressing matters at hand. He shifted his eyes slightly towards the short haired Remnant of Sephiroth. ”Make sure the other guy doesn’t get involved and you have my ears.”[/b] Terra’s eyes shifted briefly to the old doctor as he talked to Kadaj, in a tone just loud enough for the Remnant to register but soft enough that only he would register it. Now, Terra could hopefully shift his entire focus to Xehanort and end his treachery before he could lie his way into the hearts of others. ”How dare you bring Master Eraqus into your lies?! He would never work with you, not after what you’ve done! Why would I listen to another word out of your mouth when you can’t even tell me the real reason you’re corrupting the worlds again! No, I’m through talking to the likes of you Xehanort!”[/b] A plume of flame as dark as the midnight sky erupted in Terra’s palm, and he immediately fired the blast of dark flame towards the dark keybearer. If it hit Dark Firaga could diminish Xehanort’s health for a short time via a poison injected into the black magic. Terra wasted no time capitalizing on the first spell cast. Completely ignoring the doctor with the mechanical minions, Terra made a bee-line for the root of everything evil in his time, following right behind his fiery spell. He’d strike hard and fast, mostly because he wanted to cut Xehanort’s long life short before he could corrupt the hearts of any more unsuspecting keybladers. When he got within range, Terra leapt towards the old Master, rolling over his left should with his keyblade taking extended out in a pathway intended to miss Xehanort completely. However, that led to this attack’s real power, a barrage of earthen pillars that arose from the tip of his keyblade toward the old man. His Geo Impact was meant for a brutal, physical onslaught of physical damage. Master Xehanort would see the error of his ways, or fade trying to realize his faulty ambitions. Cooldowns

Master Xehanort kept an open ear to that of Dr. Cid, acknowledging his words with no action, for he felt that it was unnecessary at the time. The two had a mutual understanding in the fact that they had been made allies, solely for the fact of two opposing forces deeming them as such. It made no difference to a man like Xehanort, for as with any choice in life, this was but one of the many roads to traverse. Sienna eyes did not betray Terra for a second, and remained focused upon his form the entire time, only for the sheer knowledge that he remained the higher threat of the two. While his companion proved to be of more interest identity wise, it would seem that the Dark Master would not garner a chance to inquire about this youthful man's relation to that of the silver haired man; Terra was sure enough to make that happen. The words spilled forth from his former apprentice was something to be expected, however Xehanort had offered him a chance to listen to reason prior to eradication, merely because he felt that even Terra was deserving of honesty in this instant, no matter what harm it would do him. It made no difference though, for his words of truth were merely shrugged off, and naively regarded as lies and deceit intended to dissuade the brunette. As the last syllable left the lips of Master Eraqus' pawn, Xehanort regarded this split second of a moment as the true calm before the storm, and merely replied with a statement that would not betray his next intention.
"So be it."
It was then that the fury of a Dark Firaga came to life in the youth's hand, then hurled in his direction as the boy charged forward to follow it up. Keeping his Keyblade limp at his right side, Xehanort waved his left hand in a fluid motion, then began to manipulate the earth beneath that of the Bailey with a Dark Quake. Almost instantly two pillars of earth rose and broke through the cobblestone and brick, creating a wall to catch the Dark Firaga. In addition to this, a third pillar of earth followed the first two at a slower rate, however erupted into the air just in time to forcibly collide with Terra's abdomen in mid-flip, which would ultimately negate his positioning for the Geo Impact technique. The resulting cry of anguish would only provoke a smirk upon the face of the Dark Master, who then followed up his technique by jumping skyward to meet Terra. For a split second his sienna eyes met the youth's once more in a scowl, then the old man unleashed a triad of slashes upon the boy, ultimately ending the combo with a Dark Blizzara as he landed softly upon the erected pillar of earth. Abilities Used ~~~~~~~~~~~ Dark Blizzara - A moderately powerful ice spell that the Master can unleash upon his foes. More commonly used in Dark Winter’s Wrath, it deals a moderate amount of damage. A chance to freeze target(s). 1 post cool down. Dark Quake – Master Xehanort raises a hand upward to create erratic movements within the earth beneath his target(s), then provokes it to rise in height in several pillars to inflict moderate damage. 2 post cool down. Cool Downs ~~~~~~~~~~ Teleportation - Can now be used. [[OOC: I derped on noting the Teleport's CD in the last post, won't happen again.]]

Brightly glowing turquoise eyes glanced from the Light hearted keybarer off across the area towards the two older men, one a keybarer himself and the other, just some strangely dressed man with glasses. However the Remnant Leader wasn't one to judge from appearances alone and he could feel that this other man wasn't simply 'another guy'. No, there was certainly Darkness within his heart's aura that Kadaj was easily picking up. Curious indeed, for the Remnant rarely if ever fought against other users of the Darkness, mostly the reason for that being everyone who was of Darkness tended to stay out of each others way. But it was causing the Remnant to think about why two other users of the Darkness were in a world already claim by the Darkness, one that Kadaj himself brought and the reason he returned to see what was going on. Peering at Terra, whom seemed totally occupied with the older keybarer, Kadaj smirked inwardly as he shook his head from side to side at Terra's words.
"Who said I was on your side, Keybarer? I might be here to stack the odds even higher against you. Perhaps when you're on your last breaths would I get the information I desire out of you." However Kadaj simply walked forwards, entering fully into Terra's vision as his glowing eyes watched what Xehanort was doing. For a moment, he pondered the words Terra spoke before asking him to deal with the 'other guy', to which he paused his movements and turned his back upon Cid and Master X, staring carefully at the Light keybarer. "Added more Darkness to a world whose core already is Darkness, would bring catastrophic results. I turned this world to the Darkness, so why would he be trying to do so as well, least he wants to destroy this world entirely along with himself?" Kadaj shrugged his shoulders, as if he didn't really care, before turning around to cast his eyes upon the one Terra has asked him to deal with. Though Kadaj hated the idea of having to do something asked of him by a user of the Light, he had not forgotten that Terra would lend him his ear if they succeed in this battle. That worked for the Remnant youth though, and he could then always use their victory as a leverage to get the information he required. That, or simply attack Terra in their defeat. Either way was fine.
Kadaj began to walk forth once more, his hand reaching behind himself as he closed his fingers tightly about the handle of his Souba, tugging the twin-bladed weapon free of it's scabbard while keeping his hawk-like glare locked on Dr. Cid. An eyebrow was raised however when he noticed the Dr. pull something out his pocket, cast it at the floor and sudden have himself surrounded with 4 little robot looking contraptions. Interesting. He then drew two guns and Kadaj simply smirked confidently. However judging from the spells that those odd machines seemed to cast upon the summoner, the silver-haired youth pondered if the older keybarer would fight both himself and Terra while the D-- A Firaga blasted past Kadaj's head and he stumbled forwards a couple of steps from the sudden surprise. He watched as Terra and the Old Man went at it and Kadaj just shrugged once again, throwing his previous theory out the window.
Instead, the Remnant simply vanished in a cluster of black angel feathers, using his Angel Teleportation to instantly appear behind Dr. Cid and his robots in another cluster of feathers. Still smirking, the confidence clearly plastered across his face, he raised up his right arm and pointed his gloved palm towards the good doctor, adjusting his position so one of his little machines were placed between them both. A green glow suddenly shone brightly from within his left forearm as a crackle of electricity snapped across his fingers. Deciding to join the keybarers in the magic attack department, the Remnant Leader unleashed a Thundaga from his fingertips, aiming it to strike at both the little robot thing as well as Dr. Cid's back. "Lets make this interesting while we can. I do not have all day so give me everything you got!!"

Kadaj's surprise attack caught Dr. Cid off-guard. He had not expected such powers from mere children, but he supposed he would have to make a mental note of it. After all, one had to adapt if one wanted to learn anything. Luckily, the damage from Kadaj's Thundaga was reduced by Dr. Cid's Shell. Dr. Cid smirked as he turned to face his adversary. "Is that all you have, child? I hope not, for you will not last long against me!" One of the Rooks cast Regen on Dr. Cid, ensuring that the good Doctor would have the stamina to keep going in this battle. His wounds began, rather slowly, healing. He then jumped backward and put away his pistols. Both children were in his line of sight, which would be enough. He would also make sure not hit the older man with this upcoming attack. He was too valuable to be lost to such a idiotic mistake.
Dr. Cid then reached for something and pulled out a massive Gatling Gun. The machine itself was so large that it would almost be comical if it wasn't being wielded by a madman. "Heheheheheheh... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Dr. Cid, being about as subtle as a nuclear explosion. "Expect no quarter from me!" He then fired the Gatling Gun at the two children. The shells stopped as they reached them, then exploded, as if they were time bombs rather than giant bullets from a Gatling Gun. Dr. Cid laughed all the while as he fired upon the two interlopers.

Hell.
That’s what it was the last time these two fighters faced each other. The top of that earthen mountain served as a battleground for these same two keybladers as Terra fought to preserve all that was just in the worlds. In sports, especially pro boxing and mixed martial arts, a rematch often receives even more hype than the original. Will the underdog come back and take revenge, or will the reigning champ keep his title? Terra knew this wouldn’t be a repeat performance.
As he rushed in, he let his aggression get the better of him as a pillar of solid earth served as a buffer between the elder villain and the thick-headed savior. Terra kept up his quick pace by using his keyblade to vault himself forward overtop the pillar. Sure, he still took a massive hit to the ribs but he used his strength to his advantage by turning his body into a falling missile. Terra felt the instant chill of Dark Blizzaga, but it didn’t matter if the old man used it upon the pillar, he was no longer atop its peak. He did notice the array of bullets splashing against the surface, all of which missing their target, but he paid no attention to the rest of the attack.
Now, in a speedy descent, Terra cloaked his body in pure darkness as he actually used the power he’d fought so long to keep at bay. It didn’t matter anymore because Xehanort was a much bigger threat than his own control. He’d maintain the composition of his heart when he didn’t have everything on the line. Finally, when Terra’s descent met the earth, he actually vanished into the area of Xehanort’s shadow. Immediately, he leapt from the shadows, below the bald villain with a massive orb of shadow as a cushion between the two forces of light and darkness. Out from the orb, a massive ebony and crimson fist erupted towards Master Xehanort with intent on ending the fight before he got exceedingly dangerous for the owner of the bronze keyblade.
Now, that Terra had launched his Dark Impulse he needed to follow through with something powerful enough to continue his onslaught. He traded the aura of darkness for a power of light from within his body. This was no command style; this was the power of Ars Solum, Terra’s ultimate physical combo. He darted forward, leaping as if his feet were made to be a rocket engine. When he was close enough, he charged through Xehanort using his keyblade as a hook to not only slash through the enemy but to catch himself on the ground and turn his body back towards his enemy. With freshly upturned earth clouding between them Terra darted back through the enemy not once, not twice, not even three times, but four more dashing slices. He then performed a three-hundred and sixty degree slash vertical before a matching circular slash of a horizontal fashion. He ended the combo by gathering all of his energy in a massive slam towards the earth, with Xehanort as the only cushion between them.
If this didn’t at least cripple the old man, then this fight was just getting started. With his ribs already feeling the effects of this battle, Terra couldn’t take too many more of the old man’s tricks. However, he’d sure as hell dish it out.

A wicked smirk was produced on the face of the Dark Master as the final pillar collided with Terra's ribs, however the expression was soon replaced by a frown as the youth made his descent, utilizing the momentum to propel him into a Dark Impulse technique. He did not have the time to react swiftly enough to Terra's crimson fist, and so felt himself launched skyward with a powerful blow from behind. The naivety of Eraqus' former apprentice had subjugated all logical reason within his conflicted heart, and so it would now be pointless for Xehanort to even attempt to sway and subdue the boy with the actual truth. No all that would remain within the thin list of the Master's choices would be to simply disregard Terra's blinded ignorance, and act upon a decision that would prove to be ultimately necessary for the sake of his efforts; eliminate the liability. Eraqus would see the logical reasoning of Xehanort's choice, one way or the other, and in turn would only benefit himself with less resistance. It mattered not if Terra could not be controlled like before, not now anyway. His darkness had overtaken the youth's reasoning, and now he was simply acting upon impulse and fear. Such traits could not be properly utilized in this state of mind, and so Xehanort deemed that obtaining Terras power would simply have to wait for a later time; now he would only have to withstand and match it, a fairly simple task for a man such as himself.
As Terra continued after him in his momentum, Master Xehanort managed to quickly right himself in mid-air, then brought up Roads of Equality in time to catch and block the first swing of Ars Solum. The resulting blow of Keyblade on Keyblade was enough to propel the Master backward in the air, just enough so that the remainder of the powerful combo's wrath was unleashed upon the raised pillar of earth. As the power of Terra's ability rapidly spread outward, cracks began to form in the pillars behind him, which ultimately allowed the whole structure to come crumbling down upon the area. This would surely force all three of the other beings to scatter, aiming to secure sure footing. Master Xehanort utilized his momentum to land further down the stone staircase away from Terra, his boots gracefully thudding as he came to a stop. His knees briefly bent with the momentum of his landing, however he quickly regained his height as he looked upward to where Terra had been.
The sight was truly marvelous to behold, as Terra's darkness caused the earth to fall all around him, with little next to no regard for his own safety. His allies and the civilians were not a factor to even be considered, for the youth's rage was enough to blind him to everything except his opponent. As large bricks and boulders of earth hit, then bounced off the stairs toward the Dark Master, he raised his free hand to wave it before the massive stone. As he cast a Tornado spell, the ferocity of it's wind currents and the static of electricity flowing through them created a levitation effect, very similar to that of the Keyblades the Master used against Terra in their last battle. With the force of a speeding train, these massive chunks of earth were sent hurling towards Terra, intending to smash the youth into the very walls of the Bailey, and make him a part of the old structure. After the spell had been cast, he waved his free hand once more, then cast a Dark Thundaga upon Kadaj's position; dark clouds growing steadily over the silver haired youth, before unleashing a powerful array of pink, purple, and black lightning upon the target. It was then that Master Xehanort returned his sights to his immediate surroundings atop the Bailey, so as to ready himself for the next barrage of counter measures. Abilities Used ~~~~~~~~~~ Dark Thundaga – A barrage of purple lightning and darkness that Master Xehanort fires over an indicated area or target(s) to inflict heavy damage. 2 post cool down. Tornado – With a wave of his hand Master Xehanort can create a fierce current of wind to control by his mere whim. Whether using this to propel many keyblades in the graveyard to damage foes, or to simply bombard with target(s) with a cloud of wind and lightning, those inflicted with pain will find the damage moderate when struck. 2 post cool down. Cool Downs ~~~~~~~~~~ Dark Blizzara - Can now be used Dark Quake - 1 post cool down

After reappearing from his teleportation ability, black angel feathers floating past his face and torso until they reached the floor and vanished into nothingness, the Remnant paused his actions and took a moment to glance off towards Terra and the Old Man when the sound of rumbling earth reached his ears. With an amused expression spread across his face, the silver-haired youth let out a laugh as he watched the Keybarer of Light take a mighty blow to his ribs from a massive pillar of earth that had shot up from the ground. Seriously? Was this REALLY a Keybarer? Who just spurred on ahead at full power, relying on nothing but their own strength to crush an enemy? Even Loz wasn't that clumsy and he were 'just a Remnant' as others might say. Terra was supposed to be a Keybarer. Weren't they some of the best fighters around? With a smirk etched across his face, Kadaj shook his head from side to side before raising his left hand to his mouth, cupping his fingers slightly to help project his voice.
"Terra! What use are you if you only rely on your anger to fuel your strength? If you want to embrace the Darkness, allow it into your heart, not your sword arm!!" Though Kadaj didn't wait around for a reply, for his own opponent blurted out some dribble about how strong he was because the Remnant's attack. Kadaj simply continued to wear his smirk and raised his Souba, pointing the twin-bladed weapon at the Doctor. "Seeing as you have both Shell and Protect cast upon you, and now having used Regen, I find your attempt at an insult both idiotic and pointless. I wonder also, seeing as you're protected by Shell... how good that Regen really will be?" Kadaj said, obviously showing off his knowledge of spells. True that Kadaj could not use many himself, he being much more of a warrior then a mage, but he did wonder if Dr. Cid's Shell was going to reduce the effectiveness of his Regen. If it did, then good news for the Remnant. "How about you stop hiding behind your spells like the coward you are and experience how a battle SHOULD be fought?" Provoked the silver-haired youth, watching as his opponent put away his pistols before from out of another dimension it seemed, pulled out a far greater and larger weapon. Kadaj couldn't help but shake his head in disappointment, though he had to let the Doctor off this one time for he didn't know that using a gun against the Remnant Leader was as useful as using a fish to cut down a tree.
A shot came straight for the Remnant, but a flash of light reflected off the steel of his Souba caused the large bullet to pause in mid-air before splitting in two. However, more shells came before Kadaj could retort and what made matters more interesting was that they were actually like small bombs then real bullets. The explosions caught the Remnant off guard, a couple of them exploding nearby and scorching the leather attire he wore, but that was all. The Remnant was fast, fast enough to avoid shells from a gun and swiftly, he circled the Doctor till he ended up positioning him between Terra and the Remnant, meaning he'd have to choose who to aim at. Smirking and enjoying the chance to exercise his agility with these shells, Kadaj suddenly stopped dead still and stood upright, spreading his arms out to either side of him as if allowing himself to become an easier target for the Doctor. It was at that moment though that a dark cloud appeared in the sky over his head, bolts of unusual coloured lightning falling down to strike the ground about the Remnant as well as hitting Kadaj himself... however, if one were to watch closely, they'd spot that the lightning from Master Xehanort's spells actually passed THROUGH him. At the same moment this happened, another Kadaj had actually appeared just inside Master Xehanort's peripheral vision and was closing in on him with frightening speed, Souba raised in attack. The truth, both the one attacking Master X and the one getting struck by Cid's shells and the Dark Thundaga were clones, both harmless After Images. The After Images closing in on Master X still attacked him as if he were the real Remnant, though his Souba would pass through anything it came into contact with, being a simple illusion, before simply fading away into thin air. Same for the one taking the damage from the attacks.
The real Kadaj however, had used his speed to take Cid's flank, appearing behind the Doctor before he dashed forth to close the gap between the Doctor and himself. Ducking down to avoid the length of the Gatling Gun were he to spin around, the Remnant's Souba gained a white aura as Octaslash started to gain strength. "No quarter? Glad to hear. Give me everything!! You want to die with honour, right?" Kadaj smirked as he released the technique he learned from the SOLDIER Legend, The Chosen One, aiming 4 of the near instantaneous slashes for Cid's left leg and the remaining 4 to his right leg, knowing that Protect was in effect but hoping that multiple strikes to the same area might cause some damage at least. Still smirking, clearly enjoying the game being played, Kadaj leaped backwards, landing gently upon both feet as he once again pointed the Souba in Cid's direction.
