Back in the Enchanted Dominion, when Rude had first seen the Princess of Heart known as Aurora, the Turk had made a major decision that he figured would change his part in this strange war that was going on; however, he did not expect the choice to change his role as quickly as it did.
From the strange castle to an even odder place the Turk was taken. Much like the Enchanted Dominion, this new world reeked with the sickening aura of Darkness. Unlike before, there was no Light to save the Turk. He’d have to rely on his own strength for now. In any case, the Turk’s purpose here was much different than before. Instead of wanting to find information, he had sought for ways to help the Light. While he had hoped that this would mean gaining allies before entering a battle, the Turk quickly found the dark portals had another idea of “help”—they had brought him here to fight and very much alone. Being alone was not a comforting thing for the Turk who never knew what he might get in these worlds consumed by Darkness, but he could not control the portals or where they took him or anyone else. In the end, he just had to deal with the annoyance of not always gaining the situation he’d prefer.
Anyway, the dark portal had left him in a world that almost made the Turk think he had lost all sense of color along the way. Colored in shades of black, white, and grey the strange cartoonish place he had ended up in was indeed the most ridiculous looking place he had been so far. Wondering why the portals had chosen this place for him to fight for was beyond the Turk, but perhaps there was something here important enough to endure the silly place. Shaking his head at the thought, the Turk took a step forward and halted as he realized that the world he was in had changed him to fit the silly scenery. As the Turk took in his cartoonish form, he sighed inwardly.
The form wasn’t bad, but it was still very awkward to be black and white and recreated in such a silly fashion. The Turk hoped that the form was not permanent. He would never be able to explain the change away to Reno and the others was that was for sure.
Shaking his head again, Rude pushed the thoughts of his form away for the moment and focused on fixing the problem here. Resuming his walk again, the Turk began to explore the strange place, moving from one strange area to the next. He eventually came to an open area where a strange orb sat. While he wasn’t sure what the orb was for, the Turk figured that the Darkness that surrounded it was a good sign that fixing the orb could fix the Darkness of this world. The Turk took a few steps forward to examine the orb closer; however, he stopped as he got the feeling he was not alone in this world anymore. The Turk remained still for a moment before turning slightly to see who had come here too. He could not sense like others did, but whoever this person or thing was, Rude felt that it meant trouble….

How long had it been since this world was converted to the Darkness because of what one single mad had done? Days? Months? Then again, this cartoonish world coloured only in black and white, may well have been restored to the Light and converted back again after the initial one responsibly had left. That was the first time the Mouse King had been encountered and oddly, the only time. His name had been mentioned every now and then, but never again did their paths cross. Perhaps, in due time, they would again and hopefully under more comfortable circumstances. It was while under the delusion that the Goddess' ambitions were being completed by taking worlds from the Light to the Dark and vise versa that the King of Disney Castle and one responsible for the Darkness entering this world last met. Time went on though and as times change, sometimes the people living can change in time too.
A once crimson-now-grey glove was placed upon the large sphere that was known as the Cornerstone of Light, or more appropriately named, the Cornerstone of Darkness. Whatever the name was, the situation didn't change. While the world of Disney Castle may be bathed in Light, it wouldn't be long before the Darkness of this world corrupted the castle and turned that world to the Darkness as well. Oddly though, if this strange cartoony world had been in Darkness ever since the man in once crimson coat brought it here... why was Disney Castle still enjoying the Light? The only answer could be that someone else had come here to purge the Darkness in the past and only recently had the Darkness been returned. Lowering his hand, causing it to slip off the Cornerstone, the SOLDIER standing before it simply let out a silent chuckle as he went back over his thoughts, trying to recall how many times he used the worlds Light and Darkness. Did it matter what happened anymore? No one believe the SOLDIER when he spoke of the calamity that would arrive if balance fell too heavily in one direction. Perhaps it really was a bluff from the Goddess to get rid of him? Maybe the Darkness in the SOLDIER's heart was corrupting the world that he met the Goddess in and she simply wanted rid of him to save her own home?
That was a possibility... but why spread the lies if she was a Goddess? Come to think of it, she wasn't THE Goddess. She wasn't the Goddess of LOVELESS... just some other deity that most Users of Light knew and respected. Sighing and folding his arms across his chest, the leather material of his coat creaking as it tightened about his arms, Genesis Rhapsodos just stared at the Cornerstone, lost in thought, lost in what path to take. He did wish that he hadn't lost track of Angeal, for he surely might have been able to offer words of advice. But he wasn't here. Genesis had to rely on his own instincts again and do what he thought was right. But what was right? If a User of Light came to attack this world, should the SOLDIER fight back or simply allow them to conquer? Genesis thought back to when he crossed swords with Cloud Strife on the Blue Planet, recalling their conversation. Cloud hinted at it being wrong to bring Darkness to a world that didn't deserve it. But what was wrong with the Darkness? Sure, there were some people who followed the Darkness too much that it twisted their soul and made them dangerous, like Sephiroth, but then there were others who could control it to use it for good, such as Genesis himself as well as the winged female, 'Artemis'. Genesis knew not of Riku and Terra, both of whom were in the same boat as he was. Darkness could be used for good, if used properly. It was just such a shame that everyone was so afraid of it.
"Those with Darkness in their hearts, only Darkness... will have to be silenced. They're a threat and they will only want to see the Light destroyed... but both need to exist unless everything is to be annihilated. Darkness cannot exist without Light... there is truth behind the calamity... why cannot anyone else see it?" Spoke the SOLDIER aloud to himself. It was so sad. Light fought the Darkness without realizing the danger they were creating... which was the only reason the SOLDIER fought against them... balance. Was the fake Goddess telling the truth? Maybe he ought to seek out Minerva and see what she says. However, footsteps reached the SOLDIER's ears and he frowned slightly from being broken from his trail of thoughts. Turning, he walked across the grass underfoot until he emerged from behind the Cornerstone, eyes glancing over piercingly towards the new arrival. Their odd cartoon appearance nearly threw the SOLDIER off track, but quickly recognized the man before him as Rude, a man he'd met in the library of Hollow Bastion. Hadn't Tseng mentioned something about a 'Rude' when he met him in Edge? Was this man a Turk then? Turks were the bodyguards of Rufus Shinra, President of the Shin-Ra Company. Now THAT was Darkness beyond anything else... those... traitors!!!
Shin-Ra had to be destroyed, Turks included!!

As Rude’s scanned the area around him, he did not find anything or anyone coming towards him…from behind at least. No…the prescence was coming from—
The Turk’s attention was drawn to the sound of a voice that was coming from behind the strange orb where the Darkness had gathered. The Turk listened to what was being said.
"Those with Darkness in their hearts, only Darkness... will have to be silenced. They're a threat and they will only want to see the Light destroyed... but both need to exist unless everything is to be annihilated. Darkness cannot exist without Light... there is truth behind the calamity... why cannot anyone else see it?"
Odd words that made some sense to a degree; however, the older Turk was not interested in pondering the words that were said. What he was interested in was why that voice was ringing a bell within his head. He had heard the voice before... in a library in that strange castle. Genesis…, the Turk thought. The last time they had met he had managed to keep himself safe by beating around questions the SOLDIER had asked him regarding his identity long enough for a distraction to crop up and move the man’s attention from himself. But here, the Turk knew there would be nothing to distract Genesis from him.
Rude took a step back away from the orb to give himself distance from his opponent still hidden behind the orb. If luck was on his side, the SOLDIER wouldn’t have figured him out yet, but then again time had passed, so who knew what Genesis knew.
Still, if Genesis was fighting against the Dark instead of helping it, then maybe he had a chance to talk him out of the fight. Maybe…
Rude’s train of thoughts were cut short as he heard movement from the other side of the strange orb. When Genesis came from around the dark orb, Rude was slightly surprised that like himself Genesis had been recreated as cartoon to fit this world, but the surprise wore off rather quickly as Rude read Genesis’s thoughts through his eyes.
It would seem that luck was once again not on his side. Genesis seemed to recognize what he was—a Turk. As the SOLDIER put the pieces together, the older Turk could feel the want to destroy him come off of the other and for a moment he wondered if he could beat Genesis. Quickly pushing that thought away Rude remained calm watching Genesis carefully. He did not form an attack stance or a defensive stance at all. Instead, he spoke.
"We don't have to fight, you know?" he said calmly as he kept an eye on what Genesis would do.

Though Rude's appearance was a goofy one that matched this world, it wasn't hard for anyone who knew of the Turks to quickly notice the key features about this young man's attire. Though his arms were tiny tubes like that of an early cartoon, the fact that he still wore a suit and those shades kind of gave the game away. Even with all the trouble of discovering what was wrong with Sephiroth and having to fight him to stop him from doing goodness knows what, the Turks and Shin-Ra were still the worse thing to cause the Crimson SOLDIER to grow enraged. He didn't like having to feel this way though, but what the Shin-Ra Company did all those years ago... It just wasn't forgivable. Even if the Turks had nothing to do with it at all, they were still part of Shin-Ra and being so close to the President, both Senior and Junior, they surely had the chance to raise a hand and express their thoughts? But no. They just stood there and did nothing. They're just as much to blame!! For himself, for what happened to Sephiroth and Angeal... for the pain brought upon Zack and Cloud and Gaia itself!
"What's the matter Rude? Lost your nerve??!!" Genesis spoke, his tone clearly carrying the anger he was feeling rushing through his veins. He started to walk about the Cornerstone until he turned his direction and started heading straight for the Turk instead. It felt like he was losing control over his body. Not by any means other then his hatred for Shin-Ra welling up within him. "You're part of the Company who turned me into what I am today! If you didn't think you could stop us from destroying you, why didn't you try and stop the experiments before they began?! Stop the pain, the torture, the agony!!" He really was angry. His brows were tightened making his eyes narrow as he simply glared at the bald-headed Turk, his legs carrying him ever closer towards the smartly dressed male before him, quickly closing the distance unless the Turk began to back away. He couldn't help feeling like this. It was like a red mist covered his eyes and he couldn't see or hear anything other then the man Genesis branded a traitor.
"Why are you here??! You come to take the Cornerstone of Light for Rufus? You here to shift the Darkness of this world back into the Light? You know what'll happen if you do that, don't you? Or are you blindly following orders like the good dog you are??!!" Genesis raised his right hand, fingers flexing within the air before they gripped about an imaginary object. A long string of grey and white flame burst from his hand as the summoning of his Rapier began. The flames were harmless, just some flashy way of informing his opponents that he was getting ready to attack. Continuing to walk forwards towards the cartoon Turk, Genesis' facial expression remained that of rage, even when the Rapier had been summoned and was now gripped firmly within his right hand. His wing wasn't visible, but he was tempted to release it to show Rude the effects of Shin-Ra's and Hojo's 'play-time'. "My soul, corrupted by vengeance, Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey, In my own salvation, And your eternal slumber."

Cartoon or not, Genesis’s anger was not hidden. Without saying a word, the anger and hate the SOLDIER had for the Turk radiated from him in invisible waves. Perhaps a normal person would’ve turned tail and run at such hate, but Rude did not. Sure he was stuck here with Genesis, but even if he could escape he’d hold his ground regardless of the danger. He had made a decision to help the Light and he was not about to back out of that.
In any case, hate and anger were nothing new to the Turk. With all the suffering that Shin-Ra had caused in pursuit of power, the hate and anger was something that the Turk bore well enough. After all, he wasn’t innocent. He had helped the company cause the suffering without ever questioning it. Back then it was all just a job, but now…..? Rude shook his head mentally to clear it. Sure, he had messed up here and there in life, but then again who hadn’t? At least now he was trying to fix things and fight on the good side. Didn’t that count for something? Not in Genesis eyes...not if he continued to hate.
Anyway, Genesis had connected the dots well enough and even remembered his name. Wonderful.
As Genesis made his angry reply back, Rude sighed inwardly. There would be no persuading here. “Lost my nerve?” Rude repeated. “No. I have not lost it.” he said as continued to watch the other as the SOLDIER began to move towards him. The anger seemed to intensify as the man continued to talk to him asking him why he didn’t stop the experiments.
“If I had caught the error of Shin-Ra’s way earlier, I would have tried to stop them, Genesis,” the Turk responded back keeping his tones calm the whole time. It was true. If he had been thinking clearly like he was now back then, he wouldn’t have let half the stuff that happened at Shin-Ra go without saying something. But he had not caught the trouble that was brewing and the suffering had been unleashed. It was done and over with it. Now all the Turk could do was move forward and try to walk a better path in life. End of story.
As Genesis got closer with hate radiating off of him, Rude took only a small step back to keep a small distance between himself and Genesis. As the angry man spoke again, Rude found himself caught off guard by the man’s questions. Cornerstone of Light? That orb strange that was surrounded by the Darkness? Well, the Turk had been right that the thing was important, but he had no idea the importance of the orb that so many fought for; however, Genesis had his facts wrong.
“I’m not here for the Cornerstone. As you’ve guessed, I am here to take this world back for the Light. I know nothing of the consequences that may occur if I do this, but I am not backing down now. No one order me to come here. I made this decision on my own,” the Turk responded back as he began to move back slightly to keep the distance between him and Genesis as the man began some form of summoning. The man was going to attack. As Genesis summoned his weapon, Rude settled into a defensive position as he listened to the man speak once more. The words were poetic, but their meaning was simple enough.
“Have it your way, then,” Rude said in cool tones as he prepared for the next thing the SOLDIER would do. Your move….

Though he was fighting as best as he could to control the anger welling up within him, it wasn't noticeable at all from the outside. All Rude would see of the Crimson SOLDIER was an enraged male, hell bent on seeking bloody revenge. Genesis wasn't going to lie. He did indeed seek such a thing, but to act so unprofessionally? It was embarrassing. It was probably thanks to meeting with Angeal and Cloud at the Seventh Heaven and listening to the raven-haired man speak of the past to the fake-SOLDIER. That must have brought up past memories and it was sad to see that the LOVELESS fanatic was for once, having great difficult controlling himself. His usual calm and enigmatic behavior was all but lost upon setting his bright blue eyes upon the face of the bald-headed Turk. The grip he held upon the Rapier was giving his knuckles a rare white tint, the weapon shaking within his hand slightly that was causing the blade to subtly rattle against the hilt.
Rude's words seemed to be spoken truthfully, but this WAS a Turk... what was to say he was only saying this to try and get the Crimson SOLDIER to calm down? Tseng was the worst of them, that was for certain. "And what would you, a grunt of Rufus, done if you had discovered what was going on? Complain to Hojo? Have him take you as an experiment as well? The world will be better off without Shin-Ra." Genesis proclaimed, leaping forwards suddenly as he did so to close the gap between himself and the Turk. When in range, the SOLDIER swung the crimson Rapier before himself in a wide arc from right to left, slicing horizontally at chest height to try and strike a blow across the torso of the Turk. No weapons were visible on Rude. Either he hadn't drawn it yet or his weapons were his fists. If the latter, then the SOLDIER was going to have the advantage of range in this battle. While the Rapier wasn't as long as Sephiroth's Masamune, it was certainly longer then Rude's arm when held out at arms length. As Genesis finished his first swing, he dug his boots into the ground and jumped off to the left, covering a fair distance before he twisted back towards Rude, leaping high into the air before plummeting down upon him, slicing the Rapier down from over his head as if planning to chop the Turk in half down the middle. Whether he hit or missed, the Rapier smashed into the ground and carved a clean slice about a foot deep into the gray earth. Still with a glare covering his feature, the SOLDIER stood upright and glanced about to see what had become of the suited male.
"So you blindly headed to a world and intended to remove the alignment from the core? Without even the slightest bit of knowledge of the consequences it'll bring? What do you know of the Light and the Darkness? The Users of Light and the Heartless? The Good and the Bad, their effects each one has upon the cores of each world?" He asked. His tone was still dark, a rare moment for anyone to hear him speak like so. All the calmness, the poetic vibe he carried, it had all gone. Nothing but a strong anger in his tone and a piercing look within his eyes. Not one person Genesis had encountered believed him when he spoke about a catastrophic end that might come should one side of the war gain too strong a footing then the other. It might not happen if this world were to change it's alignment, but all the evidence was in plain sight for one to see and realize. Light needed the Darkness. The Darkness needed the Light. If one were to be erased from being conquered by the other, everything would simply fall apart. The game would end, the pieces cleared off the board and a new round would begin. it was much the same as the Dissidia Cycles, only that Genesis wasn't involved in them. If only he was, then he'd realize just how truthful the words he spoke were and then he'd be ever more determined to make others see it.

Rude watched as Genesis did his best keep his composure under the hate he held for the Turks and Shin-Ra in general. The man’s hand was already shaking from rage as he held his weapon tightly before speaking again. He was questioning what Rude would’ve done if could have stop Shin-Ra’s past deeds.
“I’m not sure what I would’ve done exactly, but I know I would’ve fought to stop the pain,” Rude told him honestly, not hiding anything from the SOLDIER. When he made his comment about the world being better off without Shin-Ra, the older Turk frowned slightly. It was true that Shin-Ra had made messed of things in the past, but they all had learned their lesson when Sephiroth tried to destroy them all. When the new Shin-Ra’s was built, it would be better than the last one. This time they’d be more careful so another disaster like before would not happen; however, trying to explain this to Genesis would be useless. The man was not going to accept anything the Turk gave him in regards to Shin-Ra. No. He had made up his mind long ago on what Shin-Ra was and decided on vengeance instead. A fact that made the Turk wonder if Genesis would ever see eye-to-eye with him and the others. Probably not.
In any case, any other thoughts on the subject was cut short as Genesis made his move. The first move was a quick one that closed the distance between the pair before Genesis took a swing at the Turk, aiming a horizontal strike at his chest. Letting years of training take over, Rude managed to hop out of the way of the blow with the blade only managing to make a small tear in his suit on the left side. Thankfully, the cut was not deep enough to hurt the Turk. Before Rude could counter, the man had leaped to the left before coming at him again with a leap and a downward slash. Rude followed the man’s movements easily enough, stepping out of the blade’s way as it crashed into the ground leaving a gash in the ground Taking advantage of the down sword, Rude moved in to keep the distance closed between the two. As Genesis turned to see what happened to Rude, the Turk was close enough to attack. The first strike was a fist aimed for the SOLDIER’s stomach, quickly followed by an upper cut to the chin if the first strike hit home. If successful maybe he could do some damage to the guy before he shredded him with his sword. Whether counter was successful or not was yet to be seen.
In any case, when the attacks had ended, he and Genesis ended back in their starting positions—Genesis’s glaring at the Turk and Rude in a defensive position waiting for the man’s next move. As they faced off each other once more, Genesis spoke again. This time asking him questions regarding the Light and the Dark, and his coming to this world.
Once more the Turk was honest with the man.
“I admit, I did not expect to fight for the Light so soon, but I do not control where I end up or who I meet. All I can do is react to the situation the best way I can. I did come to this world back for Light as I mentioned before. While I don’t understand everything about this war, I know that this world will be much happier in the Light. Darkness poisons and makes things sick and twisted. It causes suffering to everyone that comes in contact with it including worlds. It draws those Heartless and other creatures I do not know the name for. The Light and the Warriors that fight for it, they fight to heal and fix the worlds broken by Darkness. It’s a vicious cycle—this war, but something has to be done to get rid of the Darkness or else it’ll destroy everything. However,” the Turk paused for a moment as he watched Genesis carefully.
“I seemed to have missed a detail. You do not wish to me to tilt this world back to Light, so you fight against me to keep the Darkness here and yet… your questions make me wonder about your choice. Tell me, Genesis, are you really here to protect the Darkness or is something else on your mind?”
The older Turk remained calm as continued to watch Genesis. While this was his first battle against a Dark being, the Turk was very sure he would’ve been having a harder time with his opponent by now. No… something was not quite right here.

The little fight probably wasn't going to last very long. One of the top SOLDIER operatives against a humble Turk of Rufus? But these Turks were known for their survivability, so who knew what might happen? Tseng survived an encounter with the LOVELESS fanatic, so there was every likely chance that the bald headed man could do exactly the same. Pity really. Weeds always did grow back no matter how many times you uprooted them. The same thing could be said for the Shin-Ra company. It was always going to come back, whether Rufus was taken out, the entire company overrun with clones or even if the Shin-Ra HQ Building was destroyed. The problem was always going to come back sooner or later. Though thankfully, from his brief last visit to Gaia, the Shin-Ra Building looked in a bad state, as did the rest of the city of Midgar, actually. At least that meant that the company was going to be more keen on rebuilding over making new experiments. The same might not be said for Hojo... but, whatever. He'd get what was coming to him one way or another. Hojo and Hollander.
The sound of a sharp edge slicing through the air drifted through Genesis' ears as he swung his crimson blade at the suited gentlemen before him. There was only a subtle feel of steel cutting into cloth that came as a result, but nothing further. The Turk had managed to dodge backwards and avoid a slash across his chest. The Crimson SOLDIER peered up, staring at the shades that rested upon Rude's nose before smirking within the instant it took him to change direction and jump away. The return attack missed everything apart from the floor but it wasn't a problem. As he rose to his feet and begun his search for the Turk, it seemed the suited man had other ideas and had already closed the gap between them, close enough so that Genesis wouldn't be able to use his Rapier efficiently. Smart. Though there was no time to give him compliments, as a leather covered fist sunk into his stomach, knocking a fair portion of the wind out of his sails. Jeez... he might not look it, but the bald headed man could pack a punch. Fortunately, the Crimson SOLDIER was made of quality stock and he merely slid his left foot backwards onto which he transferred his body weight, shifting his person back a moment later to be able to watch the second swing of the Turk sail harmlessly past his face. The breeze coming off the path his fist traveled through embraced Genesis' face and he smirked as he slide his right foot back to join the left, flexing his knees when they were together before leaping backwards several feet with the SOLDIER strength he had been bestowed.
The fluttering of Genesis' crimson coat rippled through the air as he jumped back, the wind blowing past him as he moved backwards to allow him space to wield his Rapier more dangerously. "Darkness poisons and makes things sick and twisted...?" The auburn-haired man repeated, chuckling sarcastically throughout the quotation before lifting his left hand up to his forehead, pressing his leather bound fingers against his skin before shaking his head from side to side, chuckling once more. "Oh if you only knew how ironic those words are... Sounds to me like you just summarized Shin-Ra down to a tee there, Turk!" Genesis lowered his hand from his forehead and ended his laughter, allowing a glare to return to his features once more as he locked his bright blue eyes back onto those hidden behind the shades of the Turk. "And what do you think happens when the Light eliminates all the Darkness? If you summon the Sun to the Planet, it's flames and brilliance will disintegrate everything. If the Light wipes out the Darkness, the result will be exactly the same. You fight for the Light, for peace, freedom, happiness... but all you're doing is sealing your own fate. You will killing everything, everyone all again." The SOLDIER slowly raised his right arm, carrying the Rapier up till he held the elegantly carved weapon before his face. Lowering his head a fraction and closing his eyes, Genesis shook his head from side to side slightly. "So long as I drew breath, I will use all my power to stop you and every other user of the Light AND Darkness from bringing about The End."
Lowering his weapon to his side, Genesis turned his body so his left side was facing the Turk. Here, he raised his left arm and flexed his fingers, summoning a ball of flame to hand that burned and crackled brightly within his grasp. Digging his heels into the ground, Genesis took off in a sprint towards Rude, swinging his fire-engulfed hand before him to summon forth six Flashes
[/b] that burst from his palm. Three headed right and three shot off to the left before all six arched about and homed in of Rude's flank, aiming for his back. A moment after swinging his arm the first time and still sprinting towards the Turk, Genesis swung his left arm again to cast another three Flashes[/b], though these three shot directly for the Turk front. Finally, Genesis then dug his feet into the ground and launched himself up into the air, over the Turk, spinning rapidly as if he were a living twister. Once overhead, Genesis slashed his Rapier out wildly just in case the suited man jumped up to avoid the three Flashes[/b] heading for his front and ended up heading straight into Genesis's path. [/blockquote] -=Cooldowns=- Flash[/b] - 1 Post. Genesis throws out small fireballs that have excellent tracking abilities, capable of turning 180 degrees to continue following their target. Multiple hits builds up damage.

Within the brief calm between the two fighters, Genesis responded to the Turk’s answer to his earlier questions. As the man repeated his words about Darkness, chuckling as he did so, the Turk was not surprise that the words were turned against Shin-Ra once more. Maybe at one point the words would’ve held true for the company, but no more. In any case, Rude remained calm as Genesis locked his eyes on him and spoke once more. The Turk’s calm was broken at Genesis’s words. Light taking over the worlds would bring destruction in the end? The results was the same as if the Dark took over the worlds? That was a bit hard to believe. Worlds that the Light won over…they were peaceful and soothing worlds with no worries except hazards natural to the world. How could Light destroy like Genesis said? Was it impossible? No. Anything was possible in this world. It just seemed unlikely, what Genesis said. But then again too much of anything was bad. The Turk frowned slightly pondering the words; however, he was quickly brought back to reality as Genesis began to move, holding sword before his face as he said his next set of words.
As the words were spoken, Rude found himself surprised at the answer. Resist the Light and the Dark to keep the End from coming? A different point of view for sure, but the Turk had to wonder...if Genesis destroyed both the Light and the Dark, then what would that leave in the world? The answer was simple and clear: Nothing. As the older Turk came to the conclusion that Genesis idea was destruction in another form, his resolve to stop the SOLIDER was strengthened. Dark and its chaos and now Genesis and this talk of stopping the Light and Dark from taking over… it was madness either way. In any case, Rude pushed the thoughts away as Genesis lowered his sword and then moved so that he was facing him sideways. Before the flames even appeared, the Turk recognized the signs that signaled a magic attack and braced himself to move; however, before he could go anywhere, Genesis was moving towards him, swinging his arm before him as he came. As Genesis moved his arm, a series of three bright flashes darted to his right and then another three dashed to his left. The Turk would’ve followed first set of flashes if it had not been for another three coming his way from the front. Doing his best to get out of the way of the ones in the front, the Turk quickly found himself dodging more than three of the flashes as the other six came at his back. While the Turk managed to dodge most of the angry little balls of fire, one from behind was able to hit the Turk on the left side sending pain through the Turk as the ball exploded. Ignoring the pain for now, Rude barely dodged the last of the flashes that brushed by close enough to his leg that he could fell the heat from it. Whether that flash had been put out or not was not the Turk’s concern at the moment.
Instead, he more focused Genesis who had become a dangerous twister above him. It was hard dodging the wild blows from the man, but by some miracle the Turk surivived the attack with only a few cuts added to the burn in his left side. The wounds stung, but they weren’t enough to keep the Turk down. As soon as Genesis landed, Turk closed the distance once more avoiding the dangerous blade his enemy wielded. The punch that Rude aimed for the SOLDIER was aimed at the man’s face. If the blow hit, perhaps it would stun the guy enough to get a few more hits in; however, if the SOLDIER were to try to avoid the blow in order to keep the distance between them…
Rude paused a bit in his attack on Genesis and charged a spell that caused electrical energy to gather around the Turk. Once gathered, the Turk swung his arm down unleashing Bolt upon his enemy. Hopefully, one of his attacks would hit home. If Genesis was trying to use distance to his advantage, the Turk would not let him have that pleasure. __________________________________________________________________________________

A soft thud of leather boots digging into the ground was swiftly followed by that of rustling clothing, the long crimson, now gray, coat that Genesis wore flapping in the wind as he rotated during his jump over the Turk. The coat flapped down against his back, heels and the floor as the SOLDIER landed in a crouch, a small cloud of dust shooting out from his position as he met solid ground. Eyes closed, and slowly pushing himself up to his feet, the LOVELESS fanatic grinned slightly to himself as he noticed during his shirt flight, that many of the flashes had missed their target, the Turk indeed a nimble adversary. A number of small explosions echoed about the area as all the flashes that missed the bald-headed man crashed into the surrounding area. Not enough to cause major collateral damage, just small pot-hole sized craters and scorch marks. While crouched, Genesis kept his eyes closed and used his ears to detect what Rude was doing, and by the sound of it, he was quickly closing the gap between themselves again. Understandable and smart tactics, for indeed, if Genesis was unable to swing his Rapier, he'd not be able to cause damage. Nothing physically, at least. So the Crimson SOLDIER pondered for a second, debating whether to let Rude get close and hit him with a spell at point-blank range, or to once again jump away and attack with his Rapier.
As Genesis stood upright, the sound of Rude's footsteps had drawn dangerously close. Still with a grin on his face, the SOLDIER finally opened his eyes and turned around swiftly to greet the Turk. Using a trick he did against Cloud, Genesis simply stood his ground and threw out his left arm, hand clenched into a fist as he aimed a hard punch to the square of Rude's nose. At the same time, a sharp shock zipped through the SOLDIER's jaw as he took the Turk's punch, not moving to ensure greater accuracy with his own mini counter-attack. Rude's slug of a punch caused the SOLDIER to stagger back a few paces before finding his footing and retaining his balance. His grin had vanished and was replaced with a scowl as he raised a gloved hand to his cheek and rubbed at it slightly, poking around the inside of his mouth with his tongue to check if any teeth had been knocked out. Fortunately not, but his tongue itself was bleeding. Genesis had obviously bit it when taking the Turk's attack. No matter, though Genesis' scowl turned to a smirk as he noticed Rude charging up a spell of his own. "You have Materia? I thought only I managed to keep hold of some." He stated, but oddly, he didn't move away from Rude once more. Standing near by, Genesis simply raised his left arm and clenched his fingers as if he were holding onto an invisible ball.
A fantastic, bright blue light shone from his palm as a ball of holy energy appeared within his grip. Rude's punch was a nice one and while Genesis wasn't as adept at martial arts, he figured his own punch if it hit wasn't going to be as strong, though the LOVELESS quoter did aim for a more vulnerable spot. Either way, Genesis KNEW he was superior with magic skills and was going to pelt the Turk with one of his best ones. Mimicking the man in shades, Genesis raised his arm the same time Rude did and when the man in the smart suit unleashed his spell, Genesis fired a powerful Holy
[/b] right back at him. As far as the reports stated, only one other people could use the Holy spell and that was the girl in the pink dress selling flowers... Aerith. Holy[/b] exploded from Genesis' palm and smashed into the ground near the Turk's feet, exploding in a violent eruption of pure holy energies. Sadly, Genesis himself was standing a tad too close and the blast threw the SOLDIER several feet backwards, crashing into the ground and skidding a short distance on his back until he dug his Rapier into the ground above his head and flipped himself back up onto his feet. Regaining his composure, Genesis started to laugh as he dusted his coat off. "Whoops."Was all that was spoken, followed by more laughter. [/blockquote] Flash[/b] - Can be used again. -- Genesis throws out small fireballs that have excellent tracking abilities, capable of turning 180 degrees to continue following their target. Multiple hits builds up damage.Holy[/b] - 5 Posts. -- Genesis gathers a ball of Holy energy and throws it at the enemy. It travels in a straight line at an incredible speed, but has no tracking abilities. The Holy will explode violently upon contact with opponents or surrounding objects, with a blast at least 20 feet wide.

As Genesis landed and rose with a grin on his face, Rude closed the distance between them. As the Turk neared the SOLDIER and aimed his punch, he took note that Genesis did not dodge. No instead, the other man, still grinning, spun around quickly and swung out his left hand towards the on coming Turk. Rude saw the punch, but had no time to react to it. He was much too close to his target and the suddenness of the attack caught the Turk off guard. Almost simultaneously, the pair hit each other. As Genesis's fist connected with the Turk’s nose, he felt the pain go through his face a split second before his eyes watered. On instinct, Rude’s hand went to his nose as he staggered back from the blow. Blinking the tears away, the Turk took a second to check how bad the injury was. Despite all the pain, his nose wasn’t broken and nosebleed wasn’t that bad. Wiping away a bit of blood, he prepared to cast his spell…just as Genesis prepared to cast his own.
The Turk heard the man speak of holding onto Materia, but the Turk did not respond as he took note of Genesis’s close range and the glow from his hand before the man mimicked his movements. The pair released the spells at the same time. While Rude’s tried to dodge the spell, it crashed into the ground quite close to him. The blast was powerful enough to send both fighters flying. Rude landed on the ground with a low “oof” escaping him as his body met the ground. Grunting a bit from the pain that hit him from the blast, the Turk got back to his feet. If he hadn’t tried to run when he did…the Turk didn’t want to think about the damage that would’ve been done by that spell if he hadn’t moved when he did. It was a bit shocking and unnerving knowing Genesis could use such a powerful spell. It made the Turk a bit worried about what else the guy could do. In any case, the Turk could hear Genesis laughing as the dust settled in the area. Despite being blasted back by his own spell, the SOLDIER seemed to be fine...physically at least. Rude had to wonder how stable the man was with all the laughing he was doing. He could’ve gotten both of them blown to bits.
A slight frown appeared on the Turk’s face as he shook his head mentally and focused once more on his laughing opponent. With range at an advantage and now spells, the Turk was finding bringing down Genesis quite a challenge. Not that the Turk minded this, of course. Regardless of the outcome, he was going to continue the fight until one or both of them lost. Still, he needed to be able to get around Genesis’s attacks. He couldn’t do that if he just attacked the guy flat out, but maybe he had a chance if he….
A slight smile appeared on Rude’s lips as he settled into a defensive position, focusing fully on his enemy. With his right hand he gestured for Genesis to come, keeping the slight smile on his face as if he wasn’t worried about anything at all. _____________________
