Twilight Town. A world in perpetual twilight of everlasting sunset. Never morning, never midday, never night that fell over this world. Always light and darkness, in a eternal peace and calm. It was a small world that lay on the edge of the Realm of In-Between, closest to the Realm of Light. So it should have made a perfect, tranquil place for those of the Light to start anew, and those of the Darkness to meet them. Right?
Wrong.
Though the world lay closer to the Realm of Light than almost any other, save Yen Sid's tower, the world still remained in the Realm of In-Between all the same. It also served as a training ground for the Organization at one time, even though some of it's members were tainted with the stench of spreading darkness. Which meant more than almost any other world, this world needed to be balanced out more than ever. Light had claimed this world for their own, and if they continued to bleach out the shadows in this world, then their scorching light would would eventually burn and whiteout this humble world.
The time for Light's rein over this world was drawing to a close.
It was working. The alignment of the world was shifting back to a stable balance, where either Light or Darkness threatened to consume it. And then... the being only known as 'Mariano' could sense a presence arriving, a shape swooping over and casting a shadow over the light of the setting dusk of the world. Walking on the edge of one of the taller buildings in the Tram Common, the neutral keyblader looked down as his opponent walked predictably into the area, an area he had decided to draw him to for an advantage known only to him.
"So, a walking contradiction, is it? A Warrior smothered in the powers of Darkness rotting off him, yet you dress and act as if you're fighting for the Light in your heart? How do you really know that what you are fighting, for is exactly that, of the Light? You have come to keep that Light burning, to maintain this world in the scorching light of the sun, to eradicate all darkness and tip the balance so the people of this world live in a blanching, mindless eternity?" Mariano questioned as Terra walked into one of the open areas below, pacing his opponent from above as the rightful hero that would bring balance to these worlds.

[Finally found time to post for you, Mariano lol]
Terra had seen a number of worlds, but Twilight Town seemed exceptionally...normal. The streets were paved by a community working together, and they each supported the world through several small shops. A world with an actual economy was astounding. However, something was odd. This world seemed to fall outside the Light and the Dark, even though it had definitely been claimed by the former.
As the bronze keybearer made his way through the streets he came upon what appeared to be the most open section of town, with a small vehicle transporting the people around the common. No sooner than Terra had made it underneath a small bridge than a shrouded human approached him talking as if Terra was something that wasn't supposed to exist. Sure, his heart was tainted with darkness, but the keyblader tried his best not to let the temptation take over. If he could safely use his darkness to stop Master Xehanort without letting it consume him, then he would be safe, right?
"I know my heart has been tainted, but I fight to save these worlds and rid it of those who let their hearts fall into this temptation. I have a control over my darkness, and I use it to help those unfortunate enough to have the power to save themselves. I don't k ow who you are, but if you're the one tampering with this world's allignment then now can you accuse me of being in the wrong?"
In his usual fashion Terra then summoned his keyblade to further illustrate his point. He held the blade horizontally in front of him so it was easily in sight.
"I was bestowed this keyblade so I could protect the people, and you're trying to take their source of Light? Are you trying to make them fall into darkness?!"

The unknown keyblader had to scoff lightly at Terra's accusation, stopping his pace, on top of the building he was on, just above the small bridge Terra was about to cross under. "Trying? To make them fall into darkness? Hardly. If you had been listening, quite the opposite, in fact." he informed him, but vaguely so. It was hard to not notice the keyblade the man had summoned, and his eyes widened in fraction, moreso in intrigue rather than surprise. He had not met anyone that could wield a keyblade before, so this encounter would prove to be quite interesting. "You wield a keyblade as well, then? Tell me, are you certain that the keyblade that was bestowed upon you, was really meant for you to protect the people?" he questioned, quite curious to learn the answer. He went on, pausing to give Terra a moment to answer, but any further questions the keyblader had to impose on him would have to wait as he shed some light... or perhaps darkness... on his reason for changing the world alignment. "The origins of the keyblade bring stories that it is a weapon that can protect, as a guardian of the realms, that much is true. However, it is also known... as a weapon that can destroy, just as easily." he explained as he paced a few steps to his right, before swiveling on his heel. He turned around to pace slowly the other way, to keep to his same spot on the bridge, keeping his amber eyes on Terra the entire time. "You say your heart has been tainted by darkness, yet you will use it to help others who are fortunate enough to help themselves... it sounds like to me your ideas of salvation may actually do more destruction than good." He came to rest his feet on the spot he had stopped at before, hands hanging by his sides as he continued to sum Terra up. "You know the value of darkness, but have you ever known, or ever considered the true value of the Light? You speak as if taking away the Light of this world is something bad... but in the same way as Darkness can be viewed... have you ever thought that pure Light to the alignment of a world can not only be bad as in damaging it's balance... but it can also be used for.. evil?"The mysterious man held a hand out before him, as if gesturing to the far horizon, as if emphasizing his vision. "I, too, seek to protect the worlds. But not in a vision as misguided and uneducated as yours, that can only see colors of black and white, or the Darkness and the Light respectively. There are shades of grey in between, the true nature of the balance of these worlds in harmony, the shared combination of the Light and Darkness finely balanced just as the shadows find peace with the light of the distant sunset. And I know for a fact that I protect the people from the extremes of the deep Darkness, and the intensity of the Light, with the weapon bestowed upon me for that true purpose." As the tall man continued to hold out his hand, a weapon instantly was conjured within his grasp; a keyblade, that appeared neither in a flash of darkness or light, but from thin air as if plucked from the folds of existence itself. "Come, open your eyes, and I will show you the way both Darkness and the Light have wrought suffering on the people. I will test upon you the true way of Neutrality!" With a wave of his keyblade, the keyblade transformed into a long three-segmented whip, which from his distance above was easily able to extend it's length down upon Terra at frightening speed. --- Chain Blade: As shown in his picture (Physical Description below), Mariano can for a short period of time, transform his keyblade into a long segmented chain with blades on either end. Using both hands, he uses either end to whip at his enemies powerfully to cut them with the blade and the sharp metal of the whip. (Duration is two posts, cooldown is three posts.)
