The World That Never Was...how long had it been since the Graceful Assassin had been here? Days, months, years? It was hard to say as the tall, elegant Nobody stepped out of the Corridor with his hood drawn up. Out into cold rain. Did he mind? Not really, he kind of expected the place to be unwelcoming. After all, he had been sent away from this place and to Castle Oblivion where he had attempted to bring down the "Superior" with that keyblader Sora; however, plans had not gone the way they should have and well…no need to get into what happened afterwards.
The point, was as the pink haired Nobody walked through the rain feeling the dampness trying to get through the thick material, this place made for Nobodies felt hostile. He wasn’t sure if it was towards him or if it was that faint tint of chaos that signaled Darkness that caused this. All he was sure of was this place was setting off all sorts of warning bells in his head, but he ignored them for now. He had to if wanted to gain the answer he sought. He knew he would have to face this place along with the Organization members one day and while he was in no hurry to do the latter, he needed to come here to make sure of one thing—how many of the Organization was amongst the living? There was only one place that held the answer and that is where he was headed.
He continued his walk, his boots splashing in small puddles as he went. Curious Heartless peeked out of their puddles to see who had come, but seeing they would be rewarded with no Heart most left him alone. Only a few bold ones had tried him and already had met the coldness of Dahlia. Behind him a trail of smoke and red flower petals were left where the foolish ones had perished. He kept moving through the streets until he finally found his way inside. Safe from the rain, he took a moment to “search” the area for the others. Unlike those with Hearts, he could pick up Nobodies the easiest, but thankfully no one from the Organization or their respective pets were here at the moment.
Feeling more or less safe from harm, Marluxia moved further into the castle pulling back his hood as he did so. Despite being wet, he did not make any sound as he made his way through the many halls and rooms of the large structure. He continued to walk until he reached the Proof of Existence…a graveyard for the fallen Nobodies so to speak. Each tomb marked a fallen one. As he entered and looked around the place, he was for certain his tomb had been there to at one point or another; however, it would seem it was now crumbled, but whether this was because of his reawakening or perhaps a more vengeful move was beyond the Nobody nor did he care. What he cared about was if anyone else’s had been crumbled in the same fashion. His eyes scanned the room and what do you know? More crumbled graves. As his eyes landed on each, he began to place a name with the crumbled graves.
Xemnas, Xigbar, Saix, Zexion, Axel, Roxas, Larxene…seven of the thirteen that made up the Organization. If the graves signaled that they were alive and about then where were they now? Had they been scattered to the winds like he had, or had they decided to avoid each other all together. He couldn’t imagine Larxene coming back here or the keyblader Nobody Roxas; however, the more loyal ones to the “Superior”….where were they? Would he have to go all over just to find one to figure out what was going on? To find at least some full answer and not vague clues? Now that would be tiring…and yet did he really have a choice?
Marluxia sighed inwardly pondering his options. He didn’t feel annoyance or anger, he simply sought the most efficient way to slice the problem into a smaller more manageable piece instead of the unruly one it was threatening to become. The Nobody continued to ponder the matter without worry. He was quite certain no one would bother him here.
