Well, how does a Death God top a spectacular preliminary round of his own tournament? By making the rest of the rounds even better, of course. The stands and arena was empty currently, everyone avoiding the repair process. Hades stood in front of his throne, assessing the damage. He chuckled at the sight of the ruined stadium. The mayhem was amazing! He clapped his hands and a blast of white light enveloped the stadium. When it subsided, the stands and the battlefield were fully restored, with added bonuses. The battlefield now included several platforms of varying heights and sizes. Most of them were suspended in mid-air, but a few near the bottom were attached to posts secured in the ground.
A gong sounded and two gates opened up, signaling the combatants forward. The stands quickly filled as the warriors took their spots. Hades shouted across the stadium, "Welcome to Round Two! You'll see a few differences in the arena this time. I've added multiple platforms to enhance the battles. I know many of you like to hop around like rabbits on caffene, so here's your chance! I'm sure you'll also be glad to know that I've created barriers around the stands, so the spectators will not be injured. Feel free to cut loose in this round!" A shout of joy came from the spectators as they were glad they wouldn't be burnt, blown away, frozen, pelted by rocks, or anything else.
Hades, however, was not finished yet. He spoke again, "In the North Corner, we have -Namine-!" More cheers roared from the stands and then fell quickly. "In the South Corner, we have -Sora-!" Another round of cheers rose and fell. Hades then finished with, "But what kind of Hades Cup would this be without some stipulations, huh? In this round, I'm gonna take away... Summons and Transformation abilities! And to make sure you follow this rule, I'm going to do this!" Another ball of energy left his hands and created an invisibile field around the arena. "This will ensure that you follow my rules. Now, fight!"
-OOC: Okay, now for rules. You can't use Summons or Transformations at all. That includes drive forms, trance, metamorphosis, or anything else that follows these lines. You cannot use Summons of any type, including GFs, Materia Summons, or any other types under your Summon sections. All of you should know what I'm getting at here. Attempting this will not only make your favorite deadman angry, but result in immediate disqualification. There is a 72 hour post limit and a 2 week limit on the round. So have fun, post frequently, and kick some butt. I look forward to seeing how this round goes. Don't disappoint me, now!-

Naminé was thankful that she was able to maintain herself during the last battle and was able to transform back from that dragon that she had become. And she was also thankful that the other members that fight alongside her were just fine and not hurt too bad. She took a swig of the Potion and felt better instantly. She watched as the contestants hovered around the board to see how they were fighting next. Some of them looked at the board with puzzled faces as they looked around to try to figure out who the person was. Some of them also looked at the boards with smirks on their faces because they knew the person that they were going against. The Memory Witch was glad to see that both Genesis and the Angel girl made it…not that there was any doubt. Personally she was blown away that she made it.
Naminé made her way to the board but then stop the moment that she reached it. She found that she didn’t want to know who she was facing until it was time. Phil walked up to her. “You doing alright kid?” He asked. She nodded with a gentle smile. “Whoa ho! You are up against……” Phil found himself being cut off by the memory witch. She stood with a finger on her lips and shook her head. Phil blinked at her and placed his hands on his goat hips. “Want it to be a surprise huh? I can respect that.” The goat man smirked. “Well good luck girlie.” He said as her fold his arms and walked off. Naminé smiled and nodded with a slight giggle.
Naminé’s name was called and she head back out to the arena. She looked up in awe at the new developments. Platforms towered high above her head. She waited at the bottom of the stage until Hades called her up. She listened to the new rules and her face slightly fell. “No transforming or summons…That is pretty much all I have. Hmmmmm. Looks like I am going to have to rely on my strength.” She thought to herself. “Let’s see how creative I can be.”
Hades called her up as the crowd cheered. Bye now the audience knew that she was more than just a little girl in a white dress and that made her feel pretty good that they didn’t fall silent to her entrance. The Nobodies eyes were now focused on the other end of the arena where her opponent would soon be seen. Sora’s name was called and Naminé almost stopped breathing. The name alone took her breath away. She had been searching for him from the very start and now here he was before her.
Naminé entered the center of the arena and held out her hand to the Keyblader. “Don’t hold back.” She smiled. She waited for his reaction and then jumped back. She held out her hand to her side and by the time it reached its full length Destiny’s Embrace appeared in her hand with a flash of light. She jumped up to the first platform and waited for Sora. If anything, this should be at least interesting.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] Tossed into my mind, stirring the calm You splash me with beauty and then you pull me down
Intense laser blasts rang out across the arena, scathing the ice below and cracking the frozen surface, steam shooting up as heated light met snapping frozen water. Suspended in mid-air as the streams of light escaped from the tip of his keyblade like living ribbons, shooting across the space between himself and the titan of ice, its loud roar reverberating across the arena and through his very body. And then after the taller man that had turned into a crystalized form failed to heed his call for uniting with teamwork, time itself began to freeze as if eyes before him, even himself as he stood on the spot as he watched his keyblade spin back towards his hand, watching as the frosted behemoth was turned into a ball the same way he had been conjured forth into the arena. And then, it was all over, and the keybarer looked on as Hades set out instructions for them to take healing waters as he prepared to change the arena for the next round.
The Key That Connected to Everyone stepped out of the battle square, taking one of the Potions that had been provided, inspecting it himself to make sure Hades had not poisoned it in any way before it's rejuvinating effects left him feeling completely restored. The other combantants he had been working with had all left, and he was sad to see them go, but he was sure to see them again as long as their goal was to get as far as they could within the tournament. He was worried about Hades though, and as he went to talk to Phil to let him know he was ready for the next match, he wondered who - or what - the Lord of the Dead would put him up against next. "I don't like it as much as you do, kid, but I've got three words for you: watch yourself." he advised, Sora smirking as he ignored Phil's usual idiosyncrasy of not counting his own words. "And never let your guard down; Hades doesn't always play by the rules. You won't believe who you're up against next." This only concered the original wielder of the Kingdom Key, as he had no idea if he was prepared for what Hades had in store for them next after that first round of a titan verses teamwork, and he was definately holding something against him after all he did to foil his plots to rid this world of Hercules.
Once he had let Phil know he was as ready as he could be, he stepped into the combat zone again as the gates opened and shut behind him, and he looked up as Hades welcomed everyone including the crowd to the second round, taking note of all the floating and fixated platforms on Roman columns. As the sound of the gong evaporated, and Sora had filed away how the platforms would work into his strategy against whoever his next opponent was, the Lord of the Underworld announced it for him. He gasped, surprised, and looked over to the north corner to see Kairi's Nobody herself. Technically she was his Nobody as well since Kairi needed the darkness in his heart to have created her in the first place, but still he completely missed his opening to wave to the crowd and didn't even hear his own name called, still shocked slightly as he wrapped the idea around his head she was his next opponent. He had gotten used to the idea of having trained her other against him to prepare her for dangerous opponents, but this was a completely different story, as he knew little to nothing about the blond girl he had met at the top of the Castle That Never Was all those years ago before the final battle with Xemnas... at least, that he could remember. Just like the fight with his own Nobody he would have to learn the hard way, as he did not even know his own Nobody before he had battled him, and suddenly the excitment of the mystery and the challenge of the unknown got him all fired up instead of afraid as a brilliant smile flashed across his lips.
He stepped out into the middle of the arena as she did, and as she held out her hand and gave her request, he smiled brightly and clasped her hand to shake it. As he did, a sudden flash of bright light filled his eyes, and within his mind a memory of him locking pinky fingers and shaking them danced through his mind. He gasped as the reminder of his skin touching hers as well as the eerily familiar gesture flooded his vision, before it faded away, leaving Sora feeling like time had frozen for a minute before the roar of the crowd at the show of the sign of sportmanship snapped him out of his instant recollection. "Yeah... I promise, if you don't hold back too. It was nice meeting you again, Naminé." he told her back with exuberence, recovering after that moment's hesitation, and a smile returned to his face after the sudden hitch in his breath from the stunning flashback. He watched as she obseved him for a moment, then heard that he would not be able to call Stitch or Mushu as well as his drive forms in this Underworld lockout-like battle, bewildered slightly as Naminé summoned Kairi's default keyblade into her hand.
Now he understood where her confidence came from; of course, as Kairi's Nobody he would expect her to both have powers like her Somebody, but like how Roxas was different in fighting styles to him to expect something completely different in comparison to the way Kairi fought. He summoned Kingdom Key into his hands, his default keyblade shining with it's silver blade and gold hand-guard, the beacon of hope that would continue to help make everyone happy. "I'll let you have the first move, okay? Show me what you got!" he laughed, and put himself into his trademark battle posture, gripping the hilt of his keyblade with both hands, leaning the blade diagonally before him. It seemed to be good weather for the match, as it was still early in the day, the sun peeking over the east wall of the coliseum with a few clouds blowing in the wind towards it's direction. This was going to be an interesting fight for sure, but he remembered Phil's words to not let his guard down no matter what the situation looked like, but other than that he shouldn't have to worry about winning or losing because of the simple reassurance this was going to be a lot of fun.

Naminé looked down at Sora from the first and lowest platform. There seemed to be some confusion in his eyes. Or maybe it wasn’t confusion…maybe it was the fragment of a lingering memory that he had forgotten now coming to the surface. As far as the Keyblader was concerned the two of them only met once at the final battle in the Castle that Never Was. The Truth of the matter was that they had met before and promises were made. The promise was erased along with the on goings of Castle Oblivion from the spiky hair Keyblader’s memories. The Memory witch looked at her hand that Sora had shaken and then back to the Keyblader himself. Was it possible that his memories were coming back to him because of their hands touching? Naminé wasn’t use to her powers faulting like that. Normally when she wanted someone to forget something…they would forget it for good. One time would tell how much the boy would remember but right now he was the obstacle that stood in her way of moving on. She would have to figure out away to fight him without her original powers and cast what bond they had a side.
As Sora took his stance and told her that she had the first move; Naminé stood there silently observing his stance with her expressionless face. Analyzing the battle and the outcome of the moves was something that she had learned in her fight with Genesis. She learned that she rushed in to a fight without thinking this through and that is what most likely contributed to her loses. This was something that she should have learned even before Genesis. After all analyzing one’s opponent was something that Vexen did every well. Even though he lost sometime he always came back stronger. His fatal flaw was that he only analyzed the enemy when he should have also analyzed his so called friends and fellow workers. This was a mistake that the memory witch was going to learn from.
This was the first time Naminé wielded her blade on her own power in a fight. She had no magic or and special combos to work with so her best bet was to use anything she did have, outsmart the person who has wielded his blade for years, and stay one step ahead. She studied his stance even harder to try to find out what the best way to fight him would be. “He often holds his blade with both hands on the hilt. Very rarely does he let go. With both hands on the hilt at all times then that leaves very little room for wide ranged motions. But if I fight with one arm like Riku or a duel wielder then I get the wider range to attack and build up momentum for harder attacks, but it will also leave me vulnerable to long range attacks.” Naminé thought to herself as she nodded at Sora that she had the first move.
Naminé took a similar stance as Sora then leaped off the platform. She held her blade above her head and brought it down on her opponents head. By leaping from the high platform her attack would have her body weight and gravity behind it to help to break Sora’s defenses. Where as if she dashed at him from the ground then she would only have half her body weight and the speed at which she could run at. The platform seemed to be the better option.
Instead of Naminé bringing her blade down on Sora’s head directly; she brought it down on the Kingdom Key. Destiny’s Embrace landed on the pole of the male keybearer’s blade and slide up hooking itself on the teeth of the Sora’s blade. At the same time the memory witch step in pushing her shoulder into the chest of her opponent hoping to add more force to her tug and tugged upward on her Keyblade to attempt to retch Sora’s blade out of his hand. During her spin while her back is towards her opponent she flicks her blade down so that other blade would fall off and then she finishes her spin now facing Sora once again slashing from the ground up across his chest.
Naminé was very well aware that Sora could recall his blade and with that in mind she jumped backwards landing in-between to pillars to observe what she had or hadn’t done and what was to come.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] Because you came from out of nowhere My glance turns into a stare The girl in white came jumping down at him from above, aiming to attack him using gravity as her advantage, and the first thing Sora noticed was Naminé was a one-handed keyblader like her Somebody. Of course, Sora responded by keeping his legs apart and bracing himself, but instead had his left hand leave the grip of his Kingdom Key and place the palm along the flat of the blade as he held it above his head to block Naminé's attack. However she was as cunning as she was mysterious, and it took Sora by surprise as she purposefully aimed for his keyblade as if knowing he would block, before she hooked it with Destiny's Embrace. The unexpected manuver of shoving into him with her shoulder to push him away from the key made him let go of the weapon as she sent it flinging away out of his grip, and left defenseless and weaponless for a moment, allowed her to connect with the follow-up uppercut of her own blade before he could summon his own. He did so but a fraction too late to be able to block, feeling the sting of the keyblade slice upwards across his chest, the Kingdom Key reappearing back into his hand in a flash of dazzling light. Having analyzed tactically what Naminé had done and how she had fought thus far, and perhaps in a knee-jerk reaction to counter and defend himself, Sora brought the tip of his keyblade down on the platform they were on like a hammer as it shook from the impact.
This did one of two things, first Sora could see that by uppercutting him with her keyblade in her opening, in her offensive manuver she had left herself open to attack even if it was for a fraction of a second. In her one-handed style, the momentum of the keyblade would have her spinning after such a move with her back to him, and she had to be light with her footwork to position her body in such a motion. That in turn would leave her balance unchecked, and unlike his sturdy two-footed stance on the platform, his keyblade slamming into the platform and causing it to shake would teeter her. Two, he had tried to also aim for her keyblade, to counter back with the same maneuver of disabling the movement of her weapon. Even if she had jumped away, which would be hard to do slowing down to come out of a spin to aim a leap, he launched into what he was about to do for his back-up plan.
He boldly stepped down onto the tip of her keyblade before she could get away a safe distance, and either way would put her at a disadvantage, for if she was out of reach she wouldn't be able to fight in close combat which she seemed to prefer. Even if his keyblade slamming down onto the platform through her keyblade and her foot had missed, he stepped towards her, slashing forward at her midsection with his keyblade while her keyblade was hopefully indisposed. The strike would be more powerful with two hands holding the grip of the keyblade, and hopefully just as quick if not quicker, especially without her keyblade if possible. If this was the way she wanted to fight, then so be it, and he would try to honor their duel without having to resort to actual abilities just yet. If not he would counter with such in kind if she did, and was not above using spells if it meant saving himself from damage, but this would also test her to see what kind of abilities she had would use to try and coax his own out as well.
He smiled. "Hey, that was pretty good! Keep it up!"

Still a bit dizzy from the spin Naminé tried to focus in on Sora. When her world had stopped spinning she noticed that in her attempted to clear any attack that the male Keyblader could make once he had recovered his blade she inadvertently must have lowered the blade of her weapon. It was now laying a Sora’s feet and even though she wasn’t that far away from him she couldn’t recover it without risking getting attacked. She would have to find away to lure him away from it because she wasn’t sure how to recall it from there or even if she could.
As Sora’s blade shook the platform that they were on; Naminé, still light headed from the spin fell over and on to the floor. She sat there for a moment trying to get her bearings and shook her head. “Okay so spinning and then jumping back…not such a good idea.” The memory witch took note of that as she was about to climb to her feet when Sora came at her with a slash of his own. As he aimed for her mid section she reacted by tumbling backwards instead of standing up. Of course swinging her legs up over her body didn’t spare her from the cut of the Keyblade but alternatively it slashed her leg instead of her belly and chest. Though she was in pain it was better than having her chest cut into again. She still bore the scar from Ansem’s attack awhile back and she didn’t care to re-open the wound.
Though her legged hurt she knew she had to get back her blade. Since she was still laying down she rolled and thrusted her legs under her causing her to kip-up. Is Sora was standing close enough to her he would most likely be hit by her kick out and with that much force would hopefully be knocked down. If he was just out of her range then she would be directly in front of him and in the way of his blade once again. That would lead her to take her non-injured leg and sweep at his legs to up root him the moment that she landed in her squatting position. Either way would she would have the opportunity to dash past him to retrieve her blade.
She ran towards where the Keyblade was and placed her hand out in front of her. Destiny’s Embrace laid there for a moment and then beamed back to her hand when she was about half way to it. “I guess I can do that.” She blinked the weapon, turning to face Sora once again. She smiled at him. “Thank you.” She said to his comment. “And I would expect anything less from the on chosen to wield the Kingdom Key.”
Naminé jumped up on another platform and then another. She turned to look down on where ever the Keyblader was now. “Yes. Let’s see if you can keep up.” She need him to keep moving because if not then they just looked like two kids playing on a play ground pushing each other down. She pointed the blade in his direction like if she was about to cast a spell from its tip. She then tossed her blade at him like it was a throwing knife. Right before the blade would get to him a Dark Corridor appeared in front of the spiky haired keybearer and swallowed Destiny’s Embrace leaving her defenseless. She watched with no emotion on her face.
Corridors of Darkness: Naminé can call upon a Corridor to Darkness with one hand, which leads her into the darkness of the heart of a world, allowing her to travel to the darkness in the hearts of other worlds connected to it. She can use this freely to open one Corridor of Darkness at a time outside battle, but if she is drawn into combat, it takes more concentration and power to use it to move about or escape. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] Obsession rules me, I'm yours from the start I know you see me, our eyes interlock His impact into the plaform to make Naminé lose balance had been more successful than he thought, and Sora gritted his teeth at the idea that he had struck Naminé while she was down, after pulling the keyblade out of her hands in retaliation of the moment. As he withdrew back to prepare for the next attack, the blond girl did something unexpected, and pulled her legs underneath her and kicked out in a movement to pull herself upright. It happened too fast for Sora to understand how it was physically possible, but the movement registered like how Riku would retaliate in their wooden sword fights back on the island by rolling backwards and countering with a heavy kick. The power of her legs recoiled into the midsection between Sora's chest and his gut, almost knocking the wind out of him, while her arms seemed a lot less developed in muscle than his her legs surely were the opposite. He fell backwards painfully and as he did so, he couldn't quite make it out as he was already flat on his back and rolling to get up, but had Naminé made another kick that had passed over him? He couldn't quite tell as it looked like it was in preparation if he had gotten out of range somehow, but he was on the ground and rolled under a kick, if another one had indeed come his way.
Naminé had stalled enough time to retrieve his keyblade, and as soon as Sora was on his feet, he hopped to another platform and then another parallel to her as he observed she did the same. "You're fast!" he was able to compliment positively, noticing how many movements she had made already, and that was all he could get in while he was observing them before she made another one. Throwing her keyblade straight-forward like some new kind of Strike Raid, he was about to leap over it because he knew it would be another distraction, when a Corridor of Darkness opened on a platform before his own and disappeared within it. "Huh? Yeah, I see, so it's gonna be like that huh?" he grinned, feeling exhilarated about the fact Naminé had amped up the pace of the battle by using abilities, and that having seen in particular Naminé's corridor of darkness before meant there was always more than one portal. He had kept up his unspoken honor as a gentleman to only leave this as a pure swordfight between two keyblades, but Naminé had just broken that treaty, and so he began looking around cautiously for the other portal that would open up in real-time to exit the thrown keyblade while he kept on the run.
In the meantime, this mean Naminé was once again vulnerable without her keyblade, even though she had started a long-range assault her fighting style was still very much like Roxas' with the best defense was a good offense. Lifting his keyblade in the air he called out "Thunder!" as lighting bolts struck from the sky around Naminé, caging her from moving from her platform if not directly jolting her with Thundaga. This would leave Sora stationary for a moment on his platform, but only for a moment's breath long enough to draw in Naminé's keyblade if it would strike before he would force it's hand. This would be a good opportunity to test Naminé for if she had to go up against deadly opponents like Sephiroth with his next move, leaping from his platform to one next to hers and then jumping to spin horizontally with his keyblade outstretched, as he used Aerial Spiral. If Naminé wasn't going to summon her keyblade back to her, if it attacked Sora now she would also risk attacking herself as well while Sora drew in, not to mention his spinning as a defensive move as well as a offensive move would help deflect the blade should the accuracy still remain true.
---
Thundaga: A indirect electric-elemental spell he uses when there are several enemies advancing towards him, he points his keyblade to the skies, and bolts of lightning shower down randomly and electrocute his opponents. Three post cooldown.
Aerial Sweep - If an enemy is in the air, Sora uses this to start an aerial combo, jumping and spinning his keyblade around him horizontally to cause damage to them. Cooldown: One post.

Naminé simply smiled at Sora once again as he started to look around. She was guessing that he was looking for the second portal. The thing about the Corridors of Darkness is that they always come in twos; there is an entrance and an exit. However, even with that knowledge at his dispose the memory witch wasn’t going to make it that simple for him. No, he was just going to have to wait and see what she had in store for him. She just had to be patient and wait herself for the right time. The boy was bond to make a mistake or let down his guard at some time.
When Naminé saw Sora raise his Keyblade to the sky she automatically knew what was coming. He was about to cast a spell. There were a few of the spells she knew of that involved his Keyblade being up in the air like that. She could run a jump to another platform but the magic would be sure to follow. Her bet was to stay put and hope that it wouldn’t hurt to bad. She took a side stance and braced herself for impact. Lightening showered down upon her and caged the girl. She was unable to move for that moment so she just stared at Sora with her intense blue eyes in the same fashion that she had done before when she imprisoned him in the flower pod at Castle Oblivion. “I could easily do it again and not have to worry about this anymore.” She thought while eyes the Keyblader. She quickly shook her head “No! I am not doing that again….not to him. I have messed up once and I am not going to make him suffer for it.”
The shaken of Naminé’s head caused her to shift a bit and she ended up getting shocked on the back by one of the volts as it died away. She winced and as a reaction she grabbed the small of her back where the pain was. She stuck out her hand as if she was going to call upon her blade but as the pain passed she lowered her hand. “Easy easy. Patience patience.” She consoled herself. “Come on Sora…..Come on.” She went back to watching the Keyblader.
As Sora began to make his way across the platforms...well let’s just say if she had a heart it would be pounding right now. “That is it. Come on.” She thought to herself doing her best not to show any emotion to the excitement that was coursing thru her right now. When the Keyblader jumped up into the air and started to spin; the memory witch braced herself yet again. She knew that there was no avoiding that attack without her blade so she was just going to take it yet again. But this time she was more than happy to going flying backwards both from the force and throwing herself back to avoid being drilled into by the blade. She tossed her arms up in front of her to block the boy’s key as she went flying back a few feet and landed with a small thud. She grabbed her arm that was now gashed open. She had to fight back tears that welded up in her eyes. That hurt a lot more then she had anticipated but the fruits of her pain were about to pay off. The fact that Sora had jumped in the air to do his Aerial Spiral was just the kind of mistake she was waiting for.
The second portal would open on the ground creating a hole of darkness underneath Sora’s feet the moment he touched the floor. Destiny’s Embrace then would shoot up his back and out of the Corridor as he fell. Naminé dashed forward and grabbed her Keyblade the moment it emerged from the corridor. She pointed at Sora once again. “I want you to make me a third promise.” She said to the boy that could only remember one other promise he made to the girl in the white dress. “If you win this and ended up facing a girl with black wings; tell her the girl from Kingdom hearts is looking for her.” She then lowered her blade held her hand out for Sora to grab a hold of so that she could help him up. Once the boy was safe she jumped back once again and stood in a Defensive position with a smile on her face. It didn't matter that her leg, back, and arm were hurting because she was having fun.
[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] One minute here and one minute there Don't know if I'll laugh or cry
"Hey, what are you talking about, Naminé?" he asked the mysterious girl curiously as he overheard her speaking to herself before the clap of thunder... and then the world fell away.
He was impressed, but what was about to happen made him feel even more so, the moment after he stepped on the platform he was sharing space with Naminé after their close encounter. Or, more accurately, nothing solid underfoot but darkness. At least not until he was struck by Destiny's Embrace before gravity reclaimed it's momentum, slashing him up his back and ripping the back of his shirt slightly to draw blood, gritting his teeth painfully. There was one thing about Sora though that even if others considered him less than quick in ways of thinking, and sometimes took a while before others to intelligently connect the dots, was that he could react and adapt rather quickly in battle. As a knee-jerk reaction, he fired off another spell before he fell completely through the hole, an off-the-hip Blizzaga into the air before he fell completely through.
Last time a Corridor of Darkness had been used on him, it was Kadaj using the darkness' quick transportation methods that he had bravely run through to pursue the silver-haired man, and firing off a Ragnarok at the time after he had fallen through the portal had taught him a valuable lesson. To leave behind presents for your opponent before they close a door they had control over, and watched as the spray of icicles fanned out coming at Naminé from below as he turned her own Corridor to Darkness against her, before he attemped to flip onto his feet and his back hit the platform he had been standing on moment earlier instead as gravity claimed him. He lay there on his back for a moment, momentarily paralyzed, feeling like the wind had been knocked out of him as he gasped to regain his breath. His body ached from every fibre of his being and his muscles twitched erratically from the slam to the back, not feeling like anything was broken or pulled but feeling like it was a massive strain to get back up at this point. Was this it for Sora, the boy that was the Key That Connected to everyone, knocked out from a short fall? He had to get back up, he had too, he couldn't have pulled together a team to defeat the destructive Ice Titan only to lose coming this far!
C'mon Sora, hang in there, you can't give up now! Get up! He regained control off his lungs and took a deep breath, leaning forward and immediately pulling up his guard in a counter the moment he felt Naminé approach him, squinting his eyes as her shadow fell over him. This could be a finishing blow while he was down, and he braced himself, but... then she leveled her weapon away from him and offered a hand in a very sportsman-like manner. And suddenly, as the air returned to his lungs after a few heartbeats... he burst out laughing. Not at Naminé, but it was more of a sheepish and giddy chuckle, and without a moment's heartbeat his hand not holding the Keyblade swung forward and clapped hers as he squeezed it gently. He braced himself as he prapared for another memory flashback to jolt his mind, but nothing came this time, and so he relaxed his firm grip. Such comradaré against him may make him look bad he had struck Naminé when she was momentarily down, but even though this was Hades as the judge of this tournament to use the rules 'there are no rules. Accidents happen.', it would have look worse if he had refused it out of distrust towards a friend. "Wow, that was awesome! You really tricked me. I'm so proud of you." he gushed, before helping Naminé lever some of his weight as she pulled him back up to his feet.
And then she said something that surprised him again... this girl was so full of surprises, could her element of creativity be the end of him? "Wait, what do you mean, third promise? I haven't even made one for you yet!" he exclaimed in perplexion, before he paused for a moment, and realized what was being said with only the roar and shouts of the crowd as the background atmosphere. "Wait... I know what you're doing! You're trying to psyche me out with that while I'm down. Okay, even if it's a psyche... you got it. If I meet a girl with... black wings, huh? I'll tell her." he promised seriously and certainly, as if it was a deal written in stone, pumping his gloved fingerless fist down before him. He didn't quite know what she meant about 'black wings' and 'the girl from Kingdom Hearts' just as much as he knew what 'Thank Naminé.' meant written in Jiminy's Journal when he woke up, but he sure he would figure it out on his own as Kairi' Nobody had done about a 'third promise' to her. He hadn't met her before... but then there was that memory that came back to him about her, right?
Her distance jumping back jolted him out of his daydream; it was no time to reminesce and leave himself further vulnerable. He noticed the cut on her arm and almost considered using Curaga on it to win, if it wasn't for the fact he had used a healing potion on himself before this round started, and he caught himself before he put himself at a severe endurance disadvantage. "Alright, enough going easy on me... I want to see if you're strong enough to handle some of the big bad guys out there, so big mistake thinking I'm out for the count yet!" He grinned, and then backstepped as he went into his usual trademark battle stance, but this time as his keyblade was held out before him he made sure both his back was completely to Naminé and jumped backwards as the heel of his shoe caught the corner of the platform. Dodging any close-range attacks Naminé might have coming at him at the next moment they began to battle, his keyblade suddenly ignited with a coning aura around his tip, pulled behind Guard Break as it rocket forward... and so did his platform as he surfed forward on it's floating magic. It surged forward and slammed into other platforms that either were smashed in the wake of Sora's keyblade, but also pushed them and any platforms that survived forward in a domino effect that would collapse on the end on Naminé. The crowd went from quiet murmurs into a whipped frenzy as half the battlefield was ravaged from Sora's attack, as well as the dazzling pure white light tracing forth from his keyblade, cutting down the number of platforms Naminé could escape to while her Corridors to Darkness would be recharging. With pieces of platform coming at her, Sora and his platform he had taken advantage of the field to send a wave of himself riding on them, how would Naminé counter this nigh-instantaneous attack?
---
Thundaga: A indirect electric-elemental spell he uses when there are several enemies advancing towards him, he points his keyblade to the skies, and bolts of lightning shower down randomly and electrocute his opponents. Three post cooldown. Aerial Sweep - Finished cooldown.
Blizzaga: A quick shoot-off-the-hip ice elemental spell, he points his keyblade at a target(s) and orbs of frosty ice fan out from the tip, damaging them with the ice's sharpness and frostburn. Three post cooldown.
Guard Break - Sora jumps backwards to dodge any close-range attacks, then immediately counter-attacks with a powerful white energy lance on the tip of his keyblade, resulting in a powerful piercing blow. This attack has the element of Light. Cooldown: Three posts.

As Sora fell into her Corridor Naminé saw yet another spell coming her way and now that she once again had her Keyblade; she could defend herself instead of taking the strikes head on like she had been. She placed her arm thru the heart shaped hilt and started to spin on her arm out in front of her as fast as she could like a fan blade going in circles. The ice chunks would be copped onto smaller pieces. The pieces still struck and cut her skin but it was better than have a giant chunk slamming into her and making her fall back on the ground again. The memory witch brought her hand back towards the middle of the blade so now that she was spinning it on her hand instead to her wrist as the last of the magic come at her. Once the ordeal was over she quickly grasped the handle in the middle and stopped the blade from its chopper motion.
“That was interesting.” Naminé said with a bit of a shocked face. She shivered from the cold that was emitting from the cuts that the ice had made in her skin. “And you say I was fast but being able to cast something right before you fall is what I call fast.” She said with her expression falling into a gentle smile as she looked down into the hole where Sora fell
When Sora grabbed her hand and busted out laughing Naminé would be lying if she said she wasn’t surprised. Her eyes for a big and you could defiantly she a question mark all over her face. She blinked at the male blader a few times in confusion. “What about this is funny?” She thought to herself. She soon got her answer. She blushed slightly because she had never had someone that was proud of her. She was so use to people telling her that she was worthless that is was an interesting and much welcomed change.
After Naminé had pulled Sora out of the hole she had at first ignored his question about the third promise. She knew that he wouldn’t remember. She only stated it that way for her own benefit in remembering what she had owed the boy so far. She smiled at the Keyblader once again. However, with him thinking that she was trying to trick him with her request about the angel girl her face fell right back into the confused look. “Sora, I am not trying to trick you on this one. There are no strings attached. I really am looking for her and have been since we fought the battle together in Kingdom Hearts.” She tried to make him understand. “I-I just wanted to thank her but I want to do it in person.”
After Sora had made the promise to honor Naminé favor; in the memory witches mind the battle was back on. She jumped back as she could see that Sora was in a bit of a day dream at the moment and she wanted his full attention. She thought the sudden moment back was a better alternative than charging someone that was physically stronger than her to remind him that he was in a fight.
“Wait; there are bigger bad guys out there then Kefka, Valerius, Stroud, and Maurelle?” She said with an expression that said the world is doomed on her face. She shuttered at the very thought of it. She had managed to hold of Valerius, Maurelle and their group with the help of the women with the black wings, but as for Kefka and Stroud, well, things didn’t quite work out then.
As Sora zoomed around knocking out the platforms Naminé watched him with her eyes. Rubble fell from the smashed up platforms. Other Platforms joined the blader’s strange action and he looked like a flying snake. As the large pieces came for her she took battle stance. How could she avoid the serpent platforms slithering at her? Then it hit. It was indeed like a snake. She smiled as she thought of the team battle she had just before this one. She crouched down like if she was getting set up to run a race. As Sora and his snake got close enough she leaped up in the air, she used smaller piece of the platforms that had fallen away as stairs and would jump up them until she reached the main body and landed on the first platform. She sprinted up each section much like Tifa had done when she ran up Bahamut’s back in the fight before. One thing that Naminé was good at was mimicry. She couldn’t physical turn into the people for this battle but that didn’t mean she could mimic the person’s physical skills. Sora’s memories were his own undoing with the memory witch. The more people he met the stronger she became. The Stronger the bond was between him and those people then Naminé’s strength in their abilities increased.
Pieces of platform fell away from both the deep crack that they bore from the collision into other platforms and the weight and speed in which the young girl was running up them. On false step would send Naminé plummeting with the next piece that broke away. She had to keep her speed up if she wanted to reach Sora.
Once Naminé reached Sora; she did her own basic 3 move combo. She brought the Keyblade to her left shoulder and slashed diagonally down Sora’s front, then grabbed the Keyblade with both hands and raised it above her head only to bring it down on his head right down the middle, and finally she pulled her blade back and attempted to thrust it at his middle section. If he would stop using the technique that was causing the platforms to move in order to block her attack then gravity would take over out of control and send both him and her to the stadium floor. She knew he could easily block but at what cost would he do it at?
Since down seemed to be where the two were heading Naminé wasn’t about to stick around for the crash landing. After her assault on Sora; She faked left and then headed right in case he made a move to stop her. She ran as fast as she could to the edge of the platform that they were on. A pillar that was once used to hold up a lower platform was now tumbling at the same speed that they were heading from being struck by stone and not being able to handle it anymore. The memory witch jumped on to the falling pillar and straddled it with her arms and legs wrapped around. She closed her eyes and braced for impacted as it slammed itself into another pillar that was still standing. Granted the other pillar took some damage but it didn’t topple even thought it had the weight of on just like it smashing at full force into it. The Nobody’s grip wasn’t tight enough and she deify lifted from the massive Column on impacted and slide down on it a bit.
Naminé positioned herself up right and then sat side saddle on Column and slide down like it was a sliding boards. Crashing sounds were made all over the arena and droned out the crowd, Pieces of platform and pillars were still making their way to the ground as the ground shook with each impact. Smoke and dust engulfed the arena and impaired the vision. Naminé’s eyes searched for any sign of her opponent. She prayed that Sora was safe and made it of the platform as she had. The dust was starting to clear and the silhouettes of the crowd were starting to come thru. The memory witch was temporarily deafened from the loud noise and couldn’t tell if the audience was making sound if they lay silent.
The Silence that Naminé could only hear, the shadows that were being casted on the dust of the platforms that still remained, and the ruined arena that was covered in fallen stone was an eerie sight to behold. It made Naminé wonder what Sora was doing just beyond the fog. She took up a fighting stance once more with her Keyblade ready for whatever may happen once the dust cleared.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] One minute here and one minute there And then you wave goodbye (Goodbye)
The hero, as he had finally accomplished being titled from his friends here at the Olympus Coliseum, didn't hear Naminé's compliment to him about the rapid timing of his knee-jerk reaction. Instead after he had shot the Blizzaga spell and fallen through the Corridor to Darkness, he had been thinking frantically about landing safely, and when he had run out of time after the darkness had spit him out he focused on getting the air back that was knocked out of his lungs. Once he had recomposed himself, he thought desperately about all he had been through in the last round, and what he needed to do after he got back up to win this. It was lucky Naminé was one of the few competitiors he had been matched up with that had as much good sportsmanship as he did, and he was so happy that like her Somebody she had grown so strong as well, so impressed that it brought a laugh in mid-battle to his usually cheerful demeanor. "No, I mean about the third promise... that's just a joke... right?" he answered her assurance to him that it was no psyche, testing to see if she would tell him anything that might have to do with the flashback, but none followed. "If I see anyone like that in or after the tournament, I'll let them know." he mollified her back, as she had pulled him to his feet.
Before he had launched into his attack to turn things around, came her worried question about the villains that he was testing her for, which he felt she had passed so far. "Yes, there are... so think fast!" he could only reply, before he had launched himself forward on his platform like a skateboard with Guard Break as the propulsion. Purposefully colliding into other platforms on the way to attempt to knock them as projectiles at Naminé, or have them caught up in the wake at the front of his platform, it was all meant to be one instantaneous wave of platforms with Sora at the peak. To see how she would handle a nigh-instantaneous attack from his keyblade like Sephiroth and Kadaj's quick-draws were known for, and also to turn things around and use the environment of the arena to his advantage, but he hadn't expected the mysterious girl to act the way she did. His action was meant to shoot platforms her way, but also it wasn't a perfect line of a domino effect; it was more like he was a bowling ball and the platforms were bowling pins which had fanned and skittered in every which direction in a shockwave away from him. As Naminé crouched down in her battle stance as his Guard Break ended in it's short range towards her, no only did she seem to avoid all of the platforms that had been flung as projectiles at her, but as she leaped up pieces of platforms to reach his quickly approaching presence to run her through with his keyblade she seemed to ignore that as well. That somehow Naminé had forced herself to avoid it, as much as she had forced him into her Corridor of Darkness trap and then expected him to still be down when she approached him, was surprising to the boy but still impressed him immensely how she had avoided so much damage without a single action on her behalf.
The boy from Destiny Islands had been waiting for this moment as he neared with the shining length of his Kingdom Key to see how Naminé would react, and once he could see she was hopping platforms before him to avoid him and take her time, he would make his next move. Remembering the round before where he had worked with the others to fell the Ice Titan, as his Guard Break seemed to run out of range and momentum she had eluded somehow, as he cancelled out of it he hooked the tip of his keyblade at the edge of the platform in front of him as his heel pressed down on the back. Much like a skateboarder and some of the numerous skateboards he had ridden around in his past adventures and off-time, the platform reared up on one end so that it's surface was now on a diagonal angle, but short enough of an incline that Sora still had footing on it for the moment. Not only did this bring the platform to a grinding halt as it slowed down in speed, but as Naminé approached his platform and attempted to do her combo towards him with her keyblade, he used the platform as a make-shift shield to absorb all the damage completely as he had initially decided as one of his plans. This manuver reminded him of Akemi's Fire Wall and Artemis's Umbra Vitis Shield that was used to block most of Hydros's attacks, but like that shield he couldn't rely on it lasting long as the platform would be the cost of him blocking Naminé's combo against him.
Unhooking the tip of his keyblade as Naminé hacked away at the platform beneath him, he jumped into the air while the platform was blocking her vision, looking beneath him for where to strike next. Whether Naminé got onto the same platform he had been on somehow or not, she might have expected that he was now being claimed by gravity and was now falling downwards towards the ground beneath the platforms as he was, but now from the push-off from the platform he had a height advantage above her. He watched as she moved left and started to fall towards her, but then dodged right; as he vaulted over to the column that had fallen onto another at an angle so she could slide safely down, he altered his sky-diving so he would fall on top of the platform of the column that had not toppled over in the wake of his platform-surfing, as a the result of his platform-wave had been kicked up after they had collided into the barrier Hades had cast around the arena. He wasn't able to see Naminé so he could make an aerial strike on her like he had initially planned, and kept his guard up while the dust cloud cleared, waiting until it settled so he could see her. He considered healing himself while he waited, but there was every possible chance she would see the glow from the curative magic through the makeshift sandstorm and jump up to attack him, so he would hold off until he knew he was a far distance away from her.
This part of the battle reminded him when steam had been created and shot up in the last round, where Sora had summoned Mushu to assist in shooting over the smokescreen in an area attack where the embodiment of ice had been last; and that gave Sora an idea! He couldn't use summons or Drive forms in this round, and he had used up all his ranged magic for the moment, and any other magic might give his position away. But it re-affirmed his original strategy, now that the driving force that had pushed up the dust was gone, it would settle and clear in the air before the thick of it would reach the ground. The Key To Everything waited patiently and sure enough, he spotted a pale figure of the girl in purest white, and immediately bounded off the top of the platfrom as soon as he confirmed her image. Nothing powerful, no flashy abilities this time, all Sora did was graps the blue handle of his keyblade with both hands as he lifted it above and behind that brown spiky head of his as he swung it down upon landing next to Kairi's Nobody. As he struck across her chest and down her side as his big yellow shoes hit solid earth, his left hand let go of the keyblade as his right arm crossed across his chest in following it, his back facing Naminé's in a moment of silence like the end of a Dual Stance.
"I'm having a lot of fun fighting you." Sora spoke jubilantly, now that he had given his position away, looking over his shoulder with one azure eye at Naminé as he waited for her to break her stance and move. She seemed to know a lot about his fighting style and tricks to counter it, but while he did not know of her mysterious connection to him as of yet, there was one thing Sora had brought with him to this battle. It was not that friends were the source of his power; he gained strength from them through battling side by side and learning from their experiences as well as his own. Summons and other Forms would come and go in his adventures and were a power boost, but what most people didn't understand was that the power of the keyblade did not come from from weapon itself, but from his endeavors and the comradaré with his friends. Sora had learned a lot in his last round with his new buddies, he had come this far now he knew Hades was organizing the tournament and putting them all in difficult situations like confronting Naminé, and he was not about to give up after all he had been through after his heart had become one with theirs as it would with the girl standing behind him. That was his power; no, that meant to him more than any power his friends could give him, and that in turn still gave him inner strength, firm resolve and steely determination to see this through to the end.
But even if he did not get to reclaim his title as touranment champ, he would never give up, and he had a lot of fun in the journey trying to.

As Naminé’s eyes searched the arena. The swishing sound of air reached her ears and she whipped around with her Keyblade. The wound wasn’t coming from behind her so she looked up and saw that last bit of Sora’s fall upon her. She raised her blade at that last minute. She quickly abandoned the one handed method and placed both hands on the hilt of Destiny’s Embrace and raised it to shoulder height. She was careful to keep the teeth of her blade facing her so that if Sora tried to hook her blade she did to him he wouldn’t be able to.
It was clear that Sora was stronger and Naminé’s arms tried to with stand the force. She struggled and the blade quivered under Sora’s blade. She allowed the end of her blade to lay on her shoulder so that she had a steady support and her arms would stop shaking. She then brought her one foot next to his foot and hooked her leg behind his. Finally she released her one hand from the hilt now that her shoulder was supporting the two blades. She pulled the two locked legs towards her in order to try to tip Sora yet again. As an add action she took the hand that she let go of the hilt and thrust it in Sora’s chest.
As Sora backed away and turned his back towards Naminé; she brought her blade back up ready to try to block whatever he was about to do next. However, a comment on fun was all the boy key to everything did next.
“Thank you Sora. It was a fun match and I am sure I will take away something from it.” The Memory Witch giggled. She had had fun as well and wished her time with Sora didn’t have to end. “I must say I envy you. You are able to look on the bright side of things all the time and follow your heart.” She placed her hand to her chest where a heart for her to follow should have been but wasn’t. “You are able to pull the best out of people and get them to work together by just using your words. I have tried to do that but it would seem that my words are as empty as my chest.” She giggled again at what she just said but it was more like a giggle after telling a bad joke.
“I really admire you.” Naminé said with a true warm The Nobody turned her back to Sora’s back ] “We will meet again and this time we will know each other on sight.” No matter how this turned out she was happy. She had gotten to see Sora again and she had his promise that if he saw the women with black wings then he would deliver her message. she then turned her head to looked over shoulder in the same fashion as the Keyblader that she was standing back to back with; her Keyblade was resting at her side just in case “Oh one more thing…” She said with her icon gaze on the boy. “Check your journal again when you can.”
When Sora would get a chance to open his journey he would find several pages filled with the following:
“Thank Riku Thank Kairi Thank Leon Thank Cloud”
The list would go on with all of his friends and this was because it truly was his friends that made him who he is today. They were his strength and the bond between all of them was what gave her strength. The last page didn’t hold the words that it once did with “Thank Naminé.” Instead the last page held a different message.
“Remember Naminé.”
(OOC- Thank you for a great battle Sora and good luck)
