It had been a rough time for everyone who lived and worked on the world of Disney Castle and Disney Town. Once a bastion of hope and light akin to old Radiant Garden, now it was beginning to feel very similar to the world of Radiant Garden as it was now. Hadn’t the destruction of Radiant Garden been caused in a similar way? By the arrival of a Foreign army from another world, attacking the world? Yes, it had been lead by the most evil Maleficent, leading her army of Heartless to the doorstep of the sanctioned world of light and turning it into a Bastion of empty hearts. That had left Disney Castle one of the last lights of hope and one of the last of the bright stars in the skies of other worlds, and in no way would Donald or Goofy let this world fall to the same state as Radiant Garden, formerly Hollow Bastion.
The idea of starting up their own mini Restoration committee had been Goofy’s, and he was proud and ecstatic of that fact, and not afraid to say aloud. He did not take pride, but simply wanted people to know that he came up with the idea so others could come and help spread the word. It was a much needed replacement for the sadness he had felt after realizing that he had been unable to help with the actual battle of Disney Castle itself, against the forces of Domino. He’d heard accounts later, as he had been out visiting his son Max at the time, or attempting to, and had been unable to see the battle as it was happening. Donald, however, had been there, and recounted to Goofy everything that happened, including the helpfulness of not only the good people like Yuna, Vivi, and even Naminé, but also the strange appearance of some of the known bad guys around the worlds, and their helpfulness in this very battle as well. Did they too recognize that Disney Castle needed to keep standing? Was it because of the Cornerstone of Light?
Either way, it was good to know the castle still stood, what was left anyway. Two Towers of the castle had been completely demolished and thrown into town, and the town proper itself had a massive crater, left from the man Kefka and his powerful attack. Alotof good people had been harmed and lost that day, but that was why this Restoration effort had been given it’s added tageline, thought up also by Goofy.
Disney Castle Restoration: Rebuilding Hope
Goofy himself had been wandering the town, dressed in his normal attire, and found himself close to the gates of the castle that had been destroyed by the massive heartless. Many toons were helping to rebuild both down here in town and up in the castle, and as he looked around, he spotted Donald waving him down. He waved back, heading back into town proper and closer to the crater left by the Lance of Judgement.
“G’morning Donald!” Goofy said, coming upon his very fidgety friend. “Goofy, any news?” Donald asked. Goofy had been previously supposed to send word to some other words and to their friends, Namely some of the Restoration committee at Radiant Garden and Sora, to see if they could lend some aid as well, having helped them before multiple times. With luck some might show up to help, but it was a long shot. Sora was still no doubt still taking care of Master Keyblader duties, and Radiant Garden might still have their hands filled. “None yet, but Ima hoping. Why, I betcha that some of our pals from the other worlds even come and help without us knowing.”
Donald let out a small sigh. Yeah, it was a long shot, but at least Goofy was optimistic. He needed to keep chipper as well. Sora would be great to see, but so would Leon, Aerith, Yuffie, Cid, Merlin… Heck, even seeing Mickey and Minnie getting involved would be great for the hearts of the downtrodden citizens of Disney Castle. Both stepped aside as Chip and Dale quickly excused themselves, working together to carry a small brick from the thrown towers to the Castle itself so it can be restored, looking to the craters and landing tracks left behind. Without help, this would surely be a loooong day.

It had happened so fast...
Too fast for the teen goof's taste. He never thought in his lifetime he would see people from other worlds. And lo and behold along came outworlder however they had less than pleasant goals... When the crazy clown known as Kefka laid waste to Disney Castle, not only destroying the two towers but letting the damage come down to Disney Town! In short- it was a mess.
As the young knight trainee walked through the streets he watched as the people continued their work of reconstructing the town. To think- his old man thought of this! The embarrassing goof of a dad who he thought constantly ruined his life! His dad managed to reign in some hope to the people, creating a Restoration committee in hopes of bringing back the world's torn state.
And so far it was working.
Though Max was relieved to see his dad was alive and well, he was still angry of his dad leaving for two years without taking him with him! He wanted to go and travel the worlds like him, to fight the good fight and most of all see new worlds! But- he couldn't truly stay angry at his dad... He did this for a reason as much as he disliked it. He didn't want to see him hurt...
Pulling out of his thoughts he blinked as he realized his dad and Donald were nearby. Wide eyes scanned the area as he watched the people continue rebuilding, he even glimpsed at Chip and Dale carrying a brick! Walking towards the Commanding Knight and the Court Wizard he gave a quick wave. "Hey dad, hey Donald- how are things over here?" he frowned, "This place is a mess..." He sighed exasperated. "That crazy clown did some pretty bad damage." He looked at the two. "But that's what we're here for right? To fix this place up." He smiled, though absently wondered if Roxanne and the others were okay...He hadn't seen them in a while after all...
But those were thoughts for later, right now he needed to stay focused! Like a true knight!.... He only hoped he could get through this with his sanity intact...
notes;; TERRIBLE post. Please excuse me! I'm still getting a grasp of Max's character Dx

“Hey dad, hey Donald-”
The pair turned when hearing the voice, both instantly recognizing it for who it was. It had been a while since either had heard it, and it filled Goofy in particular with some of the greatest glee and joy to hear the voice, unharmed and unhurt from the chaos that happened. He’d been attempting to go visit his son Max when the chaos had begun, and became too preoccupied with making sure everyone was safe to continue the journey. He could only have hoped that Max would remain okay, and here he was, safe, sound, and in one piece! Donald instinctively stepped aside as Goofy exclaimed a “Maxie!” and suddenly bounded up to his son to grab him around the waist and hoist him high in a hug. His son might be a teenager now, but he’d still always be the Maxie he remembered from childhood, and seeing him alive was good.
Eventually he let his son down and Goofy kept the biggest of grins on his face as he looked over his son. He wanted to speak further, but Donald quickly coughed and interjected to reply to something Max had mentioned before Goofy had given his son a giant hug of death. “Kefka wasn’t the only person to cause this destruction,” Donald interjected, shuffling his feet a bit. There had been some word of what happened from the Disney town residents, and he kept his voice low as he spoke next to Max and Goofy, “Kefka was… helping to protect the castle, That doesn’t redeem his actions, but if he hadn’t helped stop Domino’s apprentice…” Donald paused at the thought, shaking a bit. Saying the clown had helped protect this castle… ugh, it was bad enough, but saying that the castle might have been worse off had that suicidal mime not arrived? Unspeakable.
Both Goofy and Donald stepped aside as Horace stepped by, carying a basket full of bricks and supplies to help in the castle. The removal of the castle towers from Disney Town was first and foremost priority in this, but they did need to also help in the Town itself. Disney castle could survive with a few destroyed towers. The Town could not.
“Got any of your friends to help with the rebuilding Maxie?” Goofy asked, bringing about a new subject and hoping that his son might follow in his footsteps even further beyond just being a Knight Squire.
[No worries. I might let this topic sit for a few days in hopes some more might pop up to help]

(Sorry for the delay and terrible post. >.<)
Tinkerbell had been ripped from her home, thrown into various worlds, chased by Heartless and creatures alike, and had been taken once more by another portal before she was finally left alone in a world that was maybe at one time happy, but now? Tink fought her way from under some papers and rubble until finally, huffing and puffing, the scared little fairy was able to finally see where she was. As she walked out from the giant rubble pile and out a little ways onto the streets with giant river like cracks, her deep blue eyes took in the forms around her looking up at the colossal buildings damaged from battles unknown to the small sprite. She moved a few more steps out into her surroundings and then had to fly out of the way as giant feet began moving about. Flying to the side, Tink watched as a giant of horse like person walked down the path carrying a heavy looking basket of bricks. Curious as to where he was taking the bricks, she flowed behind slowing only to watch to a pair of chipmunks carrying a brick go down the path in the opposite direction. It seemed like everyone was pitching in to clean up something, but what?
Shaking her head, she hurried out of the ally she was in and flew out into the large open area of the town and had to stop as she looked around in horror at what she saw. This place was a wreck! Crumbling buildings, giant craters and a castle missing two towers. It was amazing anyone had survived here at all and yet through all the destruction people moved about doing whatever they could to help the place. As Tink looked around taking in the remains of the once happy and bright town it took her a few seconds to realize where she was. She knew this place, but from where? Her eyes took in the buildings once more and then the castle. It was familiar….so familiar.
“Ding!” (Translation: “Oh!”) the fairy gasped barely audible over the noise of construction and talking people. She did know this place. She knew it very well. When Peter let her travel with Sora, she had come to this place with him. A place where Light and beauty resided not destruction and sadness. This place was Disney Castle!... Or rather what was left of it and the town that surround it. As the realization sunk into Tinkerbell, she felt her small heart fill with sadness. How could this have happened? What was going on? And her friends were they alright? She looked around the town searching for the familiar faces of the Queen, King, Sora, Donald, or Goofy. Surely someone had to still be around.
Aha! There by the large crater stood Donald and Goofy, no doubt the start of the rebuilding of the town. The hope the people needed to in these hard times. Pleased to see her friends alive, she went over to greet them barely noticing the younger Goof as she circled around the group before giving a happy little “DingDing!” (“Hello!”) to Donald and Goofy. Then after a second, she noticed the other she did not know. On instinct, she hid behind Goofy using his long ear for cover as she curiously peeked around the ear at the one she did not know. She had no clue she had interrupted a conversation between the trio nor did she care as she watched the newcomer cautiously.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] You were standing in the wake of devastation You were waiting on the edge of the unknown
He hadn't forgotten about his friends, and all they had done in their time spent together.
The battle he had fought against the elder keyblade master had been devastating, not only against him physically, but mentally as well. And just when he had started to recover, from the assault he was sure had been a test against him and his other keyblader friends both new and comforting, reports from Chip and Dale had come squeaking into the radio on his onboard gummi ship computer there had been a massive battle upon Disney Castle. Had the malicious scrimmage to trial his strength, been nothing more than a mere ploy to distract him from this onslaught upon the home of two of his best friends? It seemed like too big a co-incidence to be anything but, and as he touched his gummi ship down onto Disney Castle, he couldn't help but notice the devastation as he broke through the cloud cover.
He docked the gummi ship in the castle's hangar, which was still intact, but he had noticed two of the towers on top of the castle had been broken off as if by a giant hand. He hadn't seen it with his own azure eyes he would not have believed it, but as he ran out to the gates of Disney Castle that connected to the town, the town lay before him in the wake of some epic fight. "Donald! Goofy!" he yelled out, rushing up to hug both of his travel companions exuberantly with both arms, glad and relieved to see they were okay. In his joyful expression he hadn't noticed they had been talking to someone strikingly similiar to Goofy, and realized this was who his feathered friend had been mentioned in Traverse Town. "Hey, you must be Goofy's son Max, right? Heya! My name's Sora." he smiled after taking in all the commotion going on, and reached out a friendly hand for him to shake.
A small flash of light also caught his attention; on further inspection of the floating glow, he realized it was none other than Tinkerbell, but what in the worlds was she doing without Peter Pan in Disney Town? "Hey, Tink! Everything's okay with you, yeah?" he asked, keeping the question closed so she could answer easier and he'd have a better understanding of it. He looked past her at the demolished town, which the other residents looked like they were hard at work already repairing it back to the way it was; Sora felt he needed to do something to chip in and make an effort to help. Because if it was his island and the town that had been destroyed, which it had on more than one occassion, he'd feel grateful if not emotional if Donald, Goofy and their friends pitched in to help and knew they would do the same for him without a second thought. "I'm sorry I couldn't be here earlier... you guys don't want to know where I've been. So, guys... what happened here? And is there anything I can do to help?"
