A world filled with rich forests, a cozy little town, and a massive castle that seemed to shine in the moonlight. Everything seemed peaceful. However, only one person could see these features. A boy with crimson hair and blue eyes. He was stuck wandering the thick forests outside the castle. It was completely dark, no even the moonlight could shine through the leaves. The trees were close together, roots interlocking with one another. Their leaves clustered together, hiding any light or anything that might be lurking in their branches. The sighed to himself as he thought these woods would never end. The boy known as Akemi had landed on this world to see the conduction of it and send make a report. But for right now, the only thing on his mind was to get out of this forest.
While crawling under branches, stepping over roots, and trying to see in front of him through the darkness; Akemi was having a hard time navigating through this place. "Is this world nothing but woods?" Akemi asked himself. The boy came to a complete stop as he heard something. Something else was here in the thick wooded area with him. There was a limb that had been stepped on and broke somewhere near him. Oh god. Could it be one of those black creatures? Turning around, his eyes widened. In the darkness, he could see a pair of yellow eyes. They looked as if they were glowing and devilish looking. Its a monster!! The hair stood up on the back on his neck as he began to run. In his mind, the image of the creature began to take form. He thought it was a massive creature with fangs and huge claws that cut through steel. He didn't want to be its next meal! The boy frantically tried to get out of the forest, running and jumping over branches and roots. The scene was like a nightmare, running from something in the darkness and there is no end ahead. The boy tripped over a root and fell to the ground. Slowly sitting up, he turned his head to see the eyes following him. No no no no!!! It was going to get him!! Turning his head forward, there was hope after all. There was light up ahead. He was going to be safe after all!! Not wasting anymore time, Akemi rushed toward the light at the end of the tunnel, well, forest.
The light grew brighter and brighter as he run toward it. Looking behind him, he saw the eyes still following. In the back of his mind, he knew he had to fight this thing. With panic written all over his face, the began to sprint for his life! Was he going to make it or was the creature going to stop him? Well, he didn't want to find out. When he was merely a few feet from the exit, Akemi dove toward it. Freedom! The boy was finally out! Filled the joy, his body exited the thick woods to find himself in a large clearing. He hit the ground and rolled a bit as gravity brought him back to reality.
Akemi slowly sat up as his legs rested on the ground. His hand rubbed the back of his head. "Ouch...Next time...Think before you do that again.." He told himself as he looked up. His eyes were glued to where he dove out of. There they were. The Yellow eyes. They seemed to glare at Akemi. Terror filled his body as he began to shake a bit. Wait, he could defend himself! The boy reached for his sword and blinked a bit when he only gripped air. Turning his head to his side, he blinked a few times. WHERE WAS HIS SWORD?! Panicking, he looking around to see where his sword was. He found it but it was resting in front of the eyes. CRAP! Backing up slowly, he felt like this was it. His final moments! Akemi backed into a large rock as he wasn't paying attention. Really? A rock? Of cruel fate, why do you have to be so evil?! Akemi braced for the worst as the beast began to walk out of the darkness. He was going to eaten alive and his bone was going to be used as toothpicks. "I-I DON'T WANT TO DIE!! He shouted as the monster let out its terror filling roar.
"Meow." Meow? Slowly looking where the eyes were, his jaw dropped. The monster he was running from, the evil beast out to kill him was...a kitten. A black kitten. WHAT?! HE WAS SCARED TO DEATH AND NEARLY HAD A HEART-ATTACK BY...BY A KITTEN?!?!?!? Akemi fell to the ground as he felt so stupid and embarrassed by this. Almost being killed by black monsters, being swallowed by the darkness, and this scared him the most? The kitten pranced over to Akemi and rubbed up against him. Great, now he was rubbing it in. Akemi sat up slowly and sighed with a smile. "You know, you scared me half to death little guy." The cat titled its head to the side as the boy began to pet it. Purring softly, the kitten loved the attention but seemed to be needed else where. Rubbing up against his leg one last time, it took off back into the woods behind Akemi. Thank god no one saw that. Standing up, he brushed the dirt off his clothes and retrieved his sword. Feeling a bit exhausted, he sat down on the large rock that blocked hi path earlier. That was the most the boy had ever ran before in a long time. Taking out his hairband, his crimson hair began to dance in the cool night breeze. Sighing, he began to fix his hair. He needed to get in shape if he was going to do this every time.

The world felt neutral... it appeared no one had been here before, at least no one who had come to try and turn this world into their or against their enemies favour. But the fortunate thing was that it was of the good neutral-ness. It didn't appear to be anything like what Cloud Strife had described back in Beast's Castle. Then again, it didn't help that there wasn't anyone around to prove this. Rumour was that the citizens of the 'corrupt' neutral worlds were literally turned into zombies, but there wasn't anything down in the depths of this massive forest that seemed to indicate that any life existed at all. The moonless, cloud-covered skies were not helping the situation either. It was nearly pitch black in whatever direction one turned to look. The forest was dense and endless, with low hanging branches, high rising roots and goodness knows what else, ready and waiting to make your trip through the forest as painful and difficult as humanly possibly.
Fortunately, there was a more easier way to travel about this world; flying. And flying was the exact method of transportation a crimson-coated figure was using. Speeding through the darkness of the night sky, the auburn-haired figure of Genesis Rhapsodos zipped on past tree after tree after tree. His brightly glowing eyes stood out within the darkness like two flames dancing upon candles in a light-less dungeon. Every so often, the loud beat of the SOLDIER's wing echoed about the forest as the large black addition to his person carried the fully grown man ever faster through the skies. Why was he here? Well, a little piece of useful information had been gathered when within the walls of Beast's Castle. Apparently, the Masked Man was after something known as 'The Princesses of Heart'. It is told that their hearts hold the purest of Light. If their power was to fall into the wrong hands, who knew what would happen? The Princesses had to be protected at all costs. Had Agrabah been the home of one of these 'Princesses' and now seeing as the world lay in ruin thanks to this 'corruption', had the Masked Man already got his hands upon one of them?
Time was running out...
Skidding to a halt within the skies, slowing his down to a complete stop, the Crimson SOLDIER paused and fell silent listening to only the beating of his wing as it kept him hovering within the skies. "..... Did someone just scream?" Pondered the SOLDIER 1st Class aloud to himself as he turned his head down to glance upon the forest below. It was nigh-on impossible to see anything down there from this height, but as far as he knew, there was no one else on this world that he knew of... but he was certain he heard someone yell. Closing his eyes for a second, the One of Three begun to concentrate on feeling the aura that one's heart gave off. Sure enough, the world was clearly not uninhabited. Animals and creatures of all shapes and sizes were roaming the forest below, but there was one very specific aura that crossed the SOLDIER's senses and after turning to face the general direction he thought he was in, Genesis slowly began to make his way towards it, lowering his altitude until his eyes finally caught sight of what appeared to be a clearing.
There was no way to hind the sound his wing was making over dispelling the extra appendage and free falling down into the clearing below. It was a possibility, but who knew what lay in wait down there. Judging from the aura he had sensed, there was no strong connection to either the Light nor the Darkness... but something still felt amiss. Instead, the Crimson SOLDIER slowly started to make his decent into the clearing, his wing beating enough to stop him from plummeting down which also caused the leaves and branches of the trees to rustle and creak from the wind. Sure enough, the glowing-eyed, single winged 'Angel' had placed footing upon the grassy clearing and had turned his attention over to where he could kiss the figure of a human. Who was this? Why where they so far out here? What was their intention? Lifting up his left arm, opening his first into a loose palm, the SOLDIER conjured up a flame to his hand thanks to his Flash spell and used the ball of flame within his hand as a make-shift torch. Walking across the clearing, Genesis approached the stranger and looked him up and down, though saying nothing to him.

As the boy finished fixing his hair, he looked up at the moonless night sky. The clouds filled the air, covering the millions of stars. Everything seemed peaceful. Nothing was wrong. The animal were acting normal, the environment seemed untouched by darkness, and just the feeling of this place was calm. But even so, he had a job to do and explore this world until he had enough information to make a report. "Well, looks like I need to get back to work." Akemi said as he slowly stood up. Stretching out his arms, he made a small grunting noise as his body was stretched to relieve any tense in his muscles. Bringing down his arms with a smile, Akemi was ready to go and ready for anything now. Well, he was until his ears picked up on something.
It was an echoing sound and it was getting louder slowly. What was it? A monster? No, a bird? Blinking a bit, he turned around and looked up at the sky. His eyes caught a glimpse of a man with a giant black wing. Wait, what?! Looking back up, thinking his eyes were playing tricks on him, he saw the figure. Backing up a bit, the wind around him picked up as the man made his descent. Leaves, dirt, and small branches filled the air as Akemi shielded his face with his arms. Fear and worry began to pulse through his veins. What was going on? Was he in trouble? Did he do something wrong?
As the wind died down, Akemi lowered his arms to look at the man. He stood about 6 feet tall and hand crimson, short hair. His eyes looked blue and his skin tone was fair but on the pale side. The outfit he wore was leather and mainly black and red. On his back was the strangest thing about him, his long, massive black feather wing. The man only had one but he seemed as if he could fly pretty fine.
Were all men like this on this world? If so, they seemed pretty cool though. Before the boy could speak, the man summoned an orb of fire in his hand. The flame filled the area around the man with its glow. His eyes shined in the light and even in the darkness as well. Step by step, the man walked toward the boy. His heart began to beat faster with each step he made. Azure eyes gazed upon the man. Thinking the man was going to hurt him, he drew his sword. Hold it with both hands tightly, he pointed it out in front of him. "S-Stay back....I-I don't want to fight you..." Akemi said nervously, his hands shaking a bit. The sword wobbled a bit, filling the air with a light noise. Akemi was afraid but he would fight if he had to.

"You're right... You don't want to fight me." The voice coming from Genesis' lips was soft and calm, yet the usual poetic charm was present as well. His brightly glowing eyes, shining further with the light coming from the Flash, lo9oked the boy before him up and down a couple of times, halting his movement and slowly coming to a stop a few inches before the tip of the boy's blade. Mako-infused eyes glanced down at the blade and looked it over a couple of times before his attention was turned back upon the orbs within Akemi's skull. Why were his hands shaking? Chances were he was still an amateur swordsman and perhaps he had never had to fight or kill anyone before? Maybe this world was getting to him and the near-pitch darkness was playing tricks on him? Perhaps it was his own arrival that worried the young man? It wasn't everyday you saw someone with a singular black wing who could manipulate flames within one's palm.
The warm flames within Genesis' palm caused a wonderful orange glow to cover most of the clearing, allowing the pair of them to see what was actually about them. the Crimson SOLDIER's eyes weren't moving off of Akemi's though and he simply stood there in silence and watched the crimson-haired boy standing, shaking before him. His clothes were weird... reminded him of Wutai a little bit, but the length and colour of his hair indicated that he certainly wasn't from Wutai. SO who was this boy and why was he on this world? Slowly, not making any quick body movements, Genesis raised his right arm and reached out to touch Akemi's weapon. Using his index and middle finger, he pressed them against the sword and slowly pushed it away from his body. "If I were here to hurt you, you would have known about it by now. Put that thing down before you hurt yourself with it." Genesis' tone was still very soft and calm as he tried to urge the stranger before him not to get any wild ideas. It would take a moment to summon his Rapier to retaliate if Akemi were to attack, but he already had a half charged Flash in his left hand. It would take a mere instant to unleash it.
"What are you doing all the way out here? I've flown over these woods for a while now and have not seen any type of civilization. Where are you going?" It would be better to simply start a conversation over standing here and staring at the kid. He looked rather spooked regardless, so trying to break the ice a little may help the kid relax somewhat. Even so, Genesis couldn't help but notice how badly this person was wielding that sword. The hilt was rattling and he could easily see how much the blade was wobbling from the light given off from his Flash.

Akemi blinked a bit when he heard the man speak. He didn't want to fight? Well, why did you use magic like he was about to set him on fire or something? He watched the man look at him from head to toe a few times. The boy guessed that he was guessing if he was strong or experienced at fight. Well, if he was, he wouldn't be shaking like a leaf right now. His azure eyes looked up the male as well in return. He was dressed a clothing that didn't fit this world. The world was barren and seemed untouched by the hands of man. But his clothes looked as if he came from a city or something. Was he from this world? Well, the boy didn't know but maybe he could find out a little later. Hearing the man speak once again, he felt the force from the fingers pushing his blade down. Well, he did seem like a strong fighter and if he were going to attack, he would have done it by now.
Lowering his blade more and soon sheathing it, Akemi looked up at the man. "S-Sorry...Just been a little on edge lately." He said, referring to the scream from the kitten that was following him. God, thinking back to it, anyone would have laughed at him. It was truly embarrassing. The flames from the spell began to spread its glow over the area like a touch. It revealed anything that might have been lurking in the darkness.
Hearing the man, he blinked a bit. So, this world was really barren? Dang, so he found a world where no one lived here and the only thing was animals? Way to go Akemi for finding a lame world. "Well, I was looking for a town or something. I wanted to see if this wor.." He stopped, catching what he was about to said. "This area needed any help or something." Dang, that was close. He forgot that no one was suppose to know there are other worlds out there and he able to travel to them. "Yeah, I was walking through the woods when I noticed I was being followed. And when I got here, it came out and..um...I fought it off." He said, trying to act tough but didn't really want to say he screamed like a girl because he was scared by a kitten in the dark. God, really. A kitten? Man, he was a scaredy cat.

The ball of flame within the hand of the Crimson SOLDIER was giving off ample heat as well as light, what with it being a flame element spell after all. Which was nice, for the night sky had brought about a slight chill with it. The skies were clouded over, reducing visibility down to near nothing, but even so, the heat rose and the cold sunk. The warmth given off from the Flash within Genesis' palm was adequate to lick the skin of the SOLDIER's face, half reminding him that he was still alive, half relaxing him. It wasn't any time to relax though. The night was long and it was unknown how many more hours had to pass before daylight returned. It wasn't time to relax for the creatures and other forms of life besides the two humans in the clearing, had been alerted to the scream from young Akemi, and less Genesis' senses were failing him, fiends and other possible monstrosities were heading their way.
The feeling of his senses tingling caused the Crimson Champion to glance off over both his shoulders, taking the risk of breaking eye contact with this unknown figure before him after listening to how shaky his voice was and how badly he was holding his blade. This man wasn't experience in fighting and there was no danger nor threat to worry about. Slowly, Genesis glanced over each his shoulders, the leather material that made up the collar of his long crimson coat creaking as it became taught about his figure, across his shoulders and neck. Brightly glowing blue eyes glanced off into the darkness that surrounded the pair of them. Monsters were definitely approaching, and they weren't the small fluffy kind either. Regardless, the SOLDIER 1st Class made no verbal notion about the danger heading their way and instead he returned his attention upon the crimson haired boy. "Help?" The SOLDIER repeated after the boy before him explained himself. Perhaps the lad was putting on a very good act and making himself appear weak and inexperienced... but maybe he actually, truly was weak and inexperienced. How could he possibly help any form of civilization out here? However, such a question was unanswerable, for Genesis knew nothing of the crimson haired boy that stood before him.
"And how exactly do you plan to help? From the way I saw you holding your sword, whatever had been following you must not have been a particularly large threat, less that scream you made was enough to frighten it away. Of course, perhaps it was imagination and you truly are a formidable swordsman." Genesis spoke, his eyes locked onto the azure eyes in Akemi's head, staring as if he were looking right through him. A smirk begun to tug at the lips of the Crimson SOLDIER as he took a step forth and closed the gap between man and boy. The SOLDIER leaned forwards slightly more so he were pretty much sticking his face into Akemi's, taking the chance to get a good look at this boy. Years of training with ShinRa and other members of SOLDIER made the Crimson Champion a cut above the usual warrior out there. He could tell a persons worth by looking at their face, into their eyes. It was what being part of SOLDIER taught you. "I hope it's the latter and you ability to use that sword far outclasses my own, for we have company and I'm not sure I can take them all on by myself. I'm not here to play with the wildlife, to look out for you. Give me one good reason why I ought to stay here and allow you to live to see another day?"

Akemi blinked as he listened to the man talk. How was he going to help? Well, he was going to see if he could find a town first. The worlds were on the edge of war with darkness and something had to be done. Regardless of how good he could fight, he wanted to help in some way. The boy was useless back on his world when the darkness came. That feeling scarred his heart and there was no way he was going to let someone else feel the same way he did. However, the darkness on this world yet. The feeling of balance, neutrality, filled the air in this world. The only thing that could be evil was just nature itself and how the cycle of life works on this world.
Akemi was caught off guard when Genesis leaned in and was right in his face. His eyes looked as if they were looking into his soul or something. This was creeping his out a bit though. This guy was just starring at him, did he have something on his face? Stepping back a bit, Akemi felt uncomfortable having him that close to his face. His ears picked up on what the man said.
What? Was he threatening him? Akemi looked around and finally noticed the eyes. Crap, they were surrounded. Looking back up at Genesis, he tried his best not to shake. "Okay...I can't fight. I never fought before until recently...I would do anything you want if you help me...Please...Don't leave me to die..." Akemi explained as he tried not to get upset. This was serious. Akemi was in the middle of no where, with no one but Genesis to help him. He didn't know how to fight or control his powers, he could most likely die if he were to fight on his own. Akemi was making it by with the skin of his teeth until now. If this man wasn't truly that evil, he would stay and help. But Akemi preyed that he did. He didn't need to change into that...that monster again like in Halure.
[[Sorry for the poor reply >.< ]]

This situation was certainly going to become pretty interesting fairly quickly at the rate things were quickly spiraling downwards. The rustling of leaves coming from the darkness surrounding the two humans was slowly growing louder, an obvious sign that whatever was approaching them was most certainly approaching, getting closer and closer with each passing second, and while one of the two humanoid figures standing within the warm glow of the Flash spell was confident, strong and not worried in the slightest about what was happening, the second of the two was opposite, especially with how he had just confessed to the taller coat wearing man before him. So what was going to be gaining out of all this? A lesser man who had the same gift of flight as the Crimson SOLDIER would have taken to the skies and left the boy to his fate. Perhaps the old Genesis would have done such a thing, but he had Zack to thank for changing how he used to be. So... it seemed the crimson-haired boy was in luck.
For now.
Though one could hardly say such a thing, for the monsters approaching were not exactly what one would called 'local beasts'. No, the monsters approaching all donned the familiar glowing yellow eyes and strange, eerie jerk-like movements. Some large, some larger, though many small and fast. Bright blue eyes flicked in the flame of Flash and peered carefully at the boy standing within the warmth of the spell. This lad had to learn to fight and learn quickly if he wanted any hope of being able to 'help' whatever or whoever it was he wished to help. Now was going to be a good a time as any to see what he was made of. Hopefully that pathetic little speech he gave was half due to being overwhelmed with the current situation. Maybe he was scared... No, he WASscared, but sometimes that was the best emotion to be feeling when it came down to living or dying. A subtle smirk spread across the lips of the Crimson SOLDIER as he lowered his left arm down to his side, the bright flames of Flash slowly starting to dim and extinguish itself. All that could be seem now from Akemi's position, was a pair of bright blue eyes shining with several other yellow pairs in the backdrop.
"Tell me something." Genesis' voice was frighteningly calm considering the situation. The floating blue orbs vanished and reappeared almost instantly as the auburn-haired man blinked. "Do you know what a 'Heartless' is?" He asked, his voice soft and poetic as usual. No other sounds came from the Crimson Champion, for he neither moved nor spoke as he awaited an answer. What could be heard however, was the ever louder rustling of leaves, both due to the wind and due to the Heartless as well as the snapping of twigs under foot. "Because we're surrounded by said creatures and if you cannot protect yourself, they'll tear your heart out of your body and you'll turn into one of them. If that happens, you will fall to my blade. So you have a choice. Do you fight and live, or do you cower and die? Make your choice now, because there is no more time to think about it. No more time to be scared."
The rustling and creaking of leather echoed from where Genesis' stood, his mako-fueled eyes flashing brightly for but a second. As his eyes flashed, did the SOLDIER spin about on his heels. The grass under his boots crunched and the rustling of his leather trench fluttered as he moved. All of a sudden, as if a bolt of lightning crashed from the heavens, the auburn-haired man reignited his Flash spell and the instead of using it as a torch, the SOLDIER followed through and cast the entire spell. The instant the bright flames of the spell lit up the clearing both he and Akemi stood in, did a simultaneous shriek escape the Heartless who all jumped back away from the flames of Flash like startled animals. The gathering horde of Heartless were all standing literally upon both the humans during the short moment of darkness. A wave of the black monsters cried out in pain as several Flashes exploded out of Genesis' palm and into the monsters surrounding him. An explosion from each Flash shook the clearing, shaking leaves from the trees and causing sleeping animals to awaken and scatter away from the noise. Many bursts of light shone throughout the clearing too as a result from the Flashes smashing and exploding into the Heartless. A path was blasted open through the horde and the SOLDIER 1st Class took off through it, sprinting across the clearing away from Akemi and the remaining monster of the night. With any luck, Akemi would be hot on his heels and the pair could fend of the beasts together. Either that or Genesis would take to the skies and see how the crimson-haired boy managed on his own.
-=Cooldowns=- Flash - 1 Post. -- After summoning a ball of flame to hand, Genesis can swing his arm two times, releasing up to ten Flashes per swing. The spell deals fire damage to anything it strikes by means of an explosion. The Flashes have outstanding tracking capabilities.

The rustling of the leaves grew more and more as the time flew by. The boy looked around him and noticed the yellow eyes. Those eye were very familiar to the crimson-haired boy. It was if he had seen them somewhere and in the back of his mind, he wished they weren't what he thought they were. His azure eyes blinked a bit as he noticed the light from the main spell began to dim. Not good. Akemi turned around, not seeing the monsters, as the flash spell vanished and they were in the dark. The only thing that could be seen was the yellow eye and the man's blue eyes. They looked as if they were glowing. That was cool but right now he needed to focus. He prayed that the warrior wouldn't leave him alone with these things.
His ears picked up the man's voice as he asked him a question. A confused look on his face appeared. A Heartless? What in the world was that? Soon, the man began to explain what they were and what they were going to do to them if they were to lose. They would...rip out his heart? Placing a hand on his chest, he felt this heart race. It pounded like a war drum as fear began to filled his soul. No, he wouldn't lose. No way, no how. The man gave him two choices and he knew what he had to do.
"I choose to fight!" The boy said as he drew his sword. As soon as he said that, he could hear the man quickly turning around. The area lit up as he used a spell against the creatures. The light was bright enough to reveal the monsters that hid in the shadows. His azure eyes widened. Those eyes. Those twitching bodies. The feeling of pure darkness. It was them! Those were the creatures that attacked his home! Flashbacks of that night filled his head as his grip on his sword tightened. They took away everything he held dear to him. He had thought they were gone but sadly, they had reappeared. The boy wanted revenge so badly. It was their fault for everything! From losing his home to awakening his powers and making him turn into that thing. It was their fault, all of it. Calming down a bit, he needed to focus. Hearing the man running, Akemi decided to follow his lead.
Running behind him, the heartless began to follow. Their twitching could be heard even as they ran. Why here though? Why would they come to this world? There were no huge darkness here. It was a balanced world. It made no sense. However, his thinking was cut off by the sound of something coming from the side of them. Great, they were on the attack on. His sword began to glow with an icy blue aura. His eyes looked at his sword as he blinked. Was he doing this? Looking up, a group of heartless were running toward them from the right. A Shadow was leading the group of 5 as it closed in on them. "Get away! Akemi said as he nervously swung his sword at the shadow.
As he did this, the energy within his blade was released sending out a wave of ice shards at the creatures, Icy Wind.[/b] The shard ripped through the group as they burst into a black mist. How in the heck did he do that? It must have been his powers that he unlocked. Maybe there were more attacks like that that he didn't know he had. It was all surprising to him but it was so cool though! He was able to summon ice and blast away those things! This was something he dream he could have. Only a few people have magic on his world and Akemi only wanted a few preform in his town. But now, he had his own. This was so awesome!!

It wasn't just the flames of the fire class spell that the Crimson SOLDIER used that lit up the forest clearing. No, the hearts released from the defeated Heartless also gave off a wonderful light, however, the sight of such a thing was an eerie one at best. Genesis didn't know what those hearts were, but he had a good idea that they belonged to whoever the Heartless had killed. Nothing like this happened back on Gaia, for the Darkness only resided within the hearts of men and women alike. There was nothing like the Darkness itself manifesting into creatures or fiends. Sure, monsters plagued the wilderness of Gaia, but they were simply the natural wildlife. There was no Darkness, no Light, nothing that could corrupt the beasts and turn them into dark skinned creatures with brightly shining yellow eyes. But whatever the case, something regarding the Darkness most certainly happened. That was when everything went to hell.
Thinking back about it, there was very little the auburn-haired man could remember. He flew off with Weiss and then he woke up in Order's Sanctuary, home world of the Goddess, Cosmos. It was futile trying to think about what had happened, for he simply didn't know. The answers were out there, but the main thing was that he and his friends were alive and well. So long as it stayed that way, finding a way to rid the Darkness forever could wait. Besides, from what Cosmos had told him, 'balance' had to be preserved. You can't have a source of light without it casting a shadow. Speaking of which, the light given off from the hearts released by the yellow-eyed monsters had faded but it was only a fleeting thought of an ice-like cracking sound reached the SOLDIER's ears from behind him. Curious, he brought up his Rapier and swung the weapon in a firm vertical slice at a Soldier Heartless before him, swatting the creature away that span up into the trees overhead. Branches snapped and leaves rustled before the Soldier Heartless crashed back down through the foliage and smashed into the floor, it's heart releasing itself up into the air.
As the light was given off, Genesis turned about and watched as the crimson-haired boy behind him used some sort of spell that shot shards of ice out his blade. So the kid did have some strength after all? Though from the look of his expression, the boy didn't have a clue how he just did that. Either way, it was something that caught the Crimson SOLDIER's attention, something that could prove useful to him. Now wasn't the time to stop and stare though. Heartless were approaching regardless of having watched a number of their critter friends biting the dust. "You chose to fight huh? And why do you want to fight?" Genesis asked as he lowered his Rapier down to his side and stopped his movement, his leather boots coming to rest upon the grassy floor as he turned himself around fully to watch the boy behind him, wondering if the lad was even looking where he was running to notice that the Crimson SOLDIER had stopped.
((A tad short, sorry ^^; ) -=Cooldowns=- Flash[/b] - Ready to be used. -- After summoning a ball of flame to hand, Genesis can swing his arm two times, releasing up to ten Flashes per swing. The spell deals fire damage to anything it strikes by means of an explosion. The Flashes have outstanding tracking capabilities.
