Things were a creepin', a crawlin', and a spookin' around to the whims of a howling wolf this evening in the Graveyard of Halloween Town. As you could expect, the place was home to just about every type of ghoul and ghastly the mind can fathom. In addition to the creepies that naturally inhabited this unique town, there were also Heartless roaming about. All sorts spooked the fields of the Graveyard and more! Some had their dangling light bulb eye dangling from its socket, some were cuter and were fluttering about with hooks dangling underneath. They fit in quite well with the theme that stuck with the town year round and even more so...
"...They'd make good workers for Malificent see!" a gruff voice bellowed out in the hills.
Pete carried his normal, robust self with a bit of caution this time. He knew they were nothing but heartless, but the atmosphere of the world still gave him the heebie jeebies. Still yet, he had a handful of Armored Knights with him just in case plans didn't go too well. The general idea was to try and get more Searchlights, Hook Bats, and the ever elusive Darkballs to come into his entourage. He felt a bit optimistic though, as a gut feeling told him there'd be a good chance to find some rarer heartless in these parts.
Muttering some words to himself, Pete cupped his wide chin and said, "Well I got me here some find catches to get and the spooky nature draws in more Heartless regardless! I keep up the good pace and just you wait and see, reliable Pete will have an army of spooky heartless to use in no time~! BWAHAHAHA!"
He couldn't help but feel though...whether it was the chill of a rogue Blue Rhapsody nearby or his Pete-stincts...but there was definitely something wrong with the picture. Pete could almost smell it; Malificent-forbid taste it even! He'd keep a look out, just in case.

It wasn’t often the Duo traveled without Sora, their Fearless leader in a sense, the key to their salvation who wields the key to everything. But, every once in a while, they still had to let the kid be. The Mark of mastery had required him and his friend Riku to go it alone, no help and no friends beyond each other. It had been difficult to let the kid do so, but as Donald told Goofy himself once or twice, he’d run into Sora, and he was happy to see Donald at the time. It was why Donald and Goofy were able to go about things themselves. That, and they’d already been seen in most other worlds, so it wouldn’t be too weird to see the pair without Sora. Well, okay, maybe someone weird, but they were supposed to be more funny than weird. That is, unless you came upon this world, Halloween Town. The place had given the trio back in the day such creeps, and as Donald and Goofy opened the gates to the graveyard, they still got some chills. Both were wearing their Unique Outfits to blend into this world further, but even under guise to look spooky themselves, the world was just so creepy to some degree. Still, at least Jack and the rest of the residents had been friendly enough. Heck, Jack was a pretty alright feller by all regards even, and Sally seemed to still be infatuated by him. Neither Donald nor Goofy has seen them though when they arrived. Presumably they might have been out, or dealing with the pranksters that wandered around. Well, best then to keep an eye on the worlds anyway. “So Donald, what’s so special about this world?” Goofy asked, carefully closing the gates behind him near the entrance of the graveyard and looking to the lower-standing duck beside him. “Nothing.” Donald replied quickly and simply, waddling onward into the graveyard unphased by the spooky nature of it. “But if dat der’s the case, Why’d stop here?” Goofy asked, scratching near the large bolt in his head. These costume changes always itched for him, Halloween Town’s especially, what with the giant metal Bolt sticking out of his head. “We need to make sure the worlds are still safe!”“Oh, I get it. ‘cause dis here world’s so dark and gloomy, the heartless flock here, right?”“Right.”The two continued into the Graveyard, Goofy glancing around every corner due to the weary look of the place, while Donald walked on nonchalantly. But of both of them, Goofy couldn’t shake the vibe that there was some sort of something that was going to go down in the graveyard, and not good something either.

Halloween Town, a place for spooks, ghouls, and more. A place forever Halloween. Forever dark despite the sickly sweet taste of Light that resided here. It was this darkness that made this place an ideal home for the Heartless. They moved in small groups, flew around the leave-less trees, or hovered about in various place always searching for Hearts. Like most places that had been visited, this one too seemed to lacking in residents. Occasionally, a resident not so important would come out of his or her strange house and make a mad dash for the next safe spot before the Heartless could noticed them, but they were not as interesting to watch as the ones that had the Heart to stay outside. There were a few that lingered about, their attention drawn to a figure that walked casually through the square. It was a young man that looked very close to the hero that had saved their world many times over. Yes, he had his form and even acted like him to some degree, but the residents did not approach him. Despite the look, there was something very wrong about the boy. His skin was too pale and his eyes a different shade than normal. The residents were curious about the stranger nonetheless and some of the bolder ones even greeted him, getting only nods and smiles that even they considered creepy. While this amused some, it worried others, so when the figure that looked like the hero of their world slipped around the corner and disappeared, the residents let out a sigh relief that was almost audible despite how light it was. The figure did not seem to mind though as it continued moving about, heading into the graveyard where some mummy like Heartless lurked about. Upon seeing him some of them fled while others danced in their strange greeting, happy to see something very similar to themselves. A few of the bat like creatures flew around him clicking and chirping in their own language as they filled in all the blanks for him. They told him of Sora and what he had done for the people. They told him of wars that had changed this worlds Heart from Light to Dark and back again. They told him of Light and Dark beings that would be unfamiliar to him and they gave warning of what might happen if he lingered to long here. The shadow of the hero scoffed a bit as a slightly evil grin came to his face. Let Light come if they wished. He would crush them in the end. The Heartless around him felt his thoughts and in turn became overjoyed, but the celebration ended quite suddenly as the presence of a Dark Heart came into the area and a voice could be heard. A gruff voice that seemed to be plotting something and what was this? Had this Dark Heart came here looking for the Heartless for help? Well, then this being certainly picked a prime spot for that, but who was he? Anti-Sora moved forward stepping around the gravestones until he was standing in the middle of the graveyard in plain view. His golden eyes scanned the area until they finally landed on the speaker, a bizarre, large round, cat like figure dressed in blue and red. As the Heartless took the Dark Heart and his knights in, the he couldn’t help, but to frown inwardly. That was a Dark Heart? Hehehe! The thought was almost laughable. He certainly didn’t seem like much and his earlier yelling was a foolish move and yet... what was that? The shadow tilted his head towards a bat as it whispered to him about the figure before him. “Useful. Useful,”[/i] that is what it was saying. Useful? Well, the Heartless supposed he could see what the being was made of, but what to use against him to test his worth? The Heartless? No. No. If he wanted that Dark Heart sending Heartless after him would surely lose him. There had to be a simpler way to… The gate behind the Heartless creaked open as voices floated over to him on the wind and the presence of Light filled the area. With his back turned to the two approaching, the shadow listened to the voices for a moment trying to place where he had heard them before. So familiar, but why? He closed his eyes for a moment trying to remember and then a flash back hit him. It was back in Neverland when it had happened. Sora had come there to ruin things as usual and with him he had brought two companions. A duck….and a dog…Like the keybearer, they proved to be trouble in the end, but what were their names? The Heartless’s eyes reopened as the answer finally hit him. Donald and Goofy. Yes, yes. He remembered those two. They had aided that brat in his defeat! And yet…he paused stretching out his senses “looking” for Sora, but guess what? Hehehe. He wasn’t there! Oh! Oh! It got even better than that though. In this world of darkness it would be hard to tell the difference between himself and the real Sora unless he turned around and spoke, but no the Heartless would not do that. He kept his back to Donald and Goofy, a mischievous smile on his face as he focused on the Dark one. All right, Dark Heart. Time to prove just how much use you are to us, Anti-Sora thought before the smile faded and he waited for things to unfold. From the back, he would appear to be Sora despite the odd fact that at least four bat-like heartless where flapping around him like fairies, facing the two light warriors and he was not attacking them.

That tingly feeling that was brushing the back of Pete's furry neck was not just from the heartless, but it was nagging the bejeebus out of him nonetheless. It was as if a particular "Goof" was roaming around here too. Now you might think Pete would be losing more of his marbles, but certain internal warnings develop in you too if you were neighbors to the clumsiest person in Disney Town back in the day!
'Bah, must be me mind playing tricks on me! That Goof would be too busy playing buddy buddy with Mickey or the brat with the keyblade! Probably lifting up some rubble at Disney Town hehehe~' Pete mused to himself, marching along with the clanking of the armored knights besides him.
It had been about 20 minutes since he arrived into the world and had sent back little more than a pack of Halloween Town specialties to Malificent. He scored big with the Wizards and Searchlights, but there were more to be found! Seemed that even though this world was clean, Heartless still found a way to sneak an existence this long. Pete was feeling so proud of his catches, that nothing could bring his mood down. His happy feelings also let him blissfully greet a passing pair strolling through the graveyard.
"Why hello to you two! Enjoy your stroll Donald and Goof!" Pete warmly said as his entourage kept on moving forward.
'Wait.' Ohhhh yeah. It hit the oaf right then and there who exactly he had just passed. He turned as quickly as his stubby feet could go and pointed at the dynamic Disney duo with a bit of a slack jaw to compliment his surprise. The snickering skeletons dancing to the moonlight were also chattered in amusement at Pete's face.
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING HERE?!?!" Pete howled in bewilderment, trying desperately to recompose his ranks. Wouldn't matter, he'd not waste any more time with this sneak attack! He ordered two armored knights to stay back and sent three forward to engage the knights of King Mickey. As they began closing the gap, Pete placed a hand in his pouch to grab one of his roller bombs and thought about what sort of back up to call next. Those two weren't about to be taken down by three Armored Knights after all!
He'd stall in the mean time. A hand still in the pouch, Pete cautiously began inching his way back to some safety. "Off to try and get the jump on ol' Pete huh you two? Where's that boy you're always with? Ain't you three some sort of posse or somethin?"

“But er Donald, if this world exists in the light, howsit that the heartless still come here?” “Who knows?”
Yes, the dynamic duo were still bickering and talking. Goofy, while understanding the idea of why the Heartless could be here, just didn’t seem to understand the Heartless enough or the dynamics of worlds to get why Heartless would Linger here. They’d been to plenty of dark worlds before, and the Heartless didn’t seem as prevalent there as they did here. It confused the poor goof, and it annoyed Donald to no end. Trying to keep his friend from acting so dumb was beyond the duck’s ability at the moment. All that mattered was a quick patrol of the world, then heading on. Okay, heading on after visiting Christmas Town and seeing if he couldn’t swipe some toys or cookies from Santa.
“Maybe dat der professor’s doing something with the heartless again, or maybe Jack’s got some plan going down to try and use them again.” “Maybe.” Donald’s patience was trying, and his friend’s constant questioning and theories was becoming annoying beyond all regard. It made him so annoyed, that his frustration, combined with Goofy’s thinking about everything going on, caused both to completely walk by a figure strikingly similar to Sora within the graveyard. Perhaps not strikingly similar, so much as looking exactly like him. Yeah, they walked right on past Anti-sora, unaware of his presence or that of the bat heartless around him, simply because of the bickering. Heck, they’d probably have not noticed Pete either, had the man not spoken to them directly by telling them to enjoy their stroll.
“Thanks Pete, you too!” Goofy even said in response, smiling and waving to the large cat before Donald and Goofy both halted in their tracks. Wait wait wait, PETE?!
Both wheeled around just as Pete did, mouths agape as they stared at Pete, who pointed back at them accusingly. At once, it seemed all three were exclaiming as to what they were doing there, Goofy and Donald asking Pete just as he was asking them. Suddenly three Armored Knights were attacking them from Pete’s entourage, and it’s in this moment when the duo had brought out their weapons to denfd themselves, that Goofy noticed a figure behind Pete.
“SORA?!” Goofy exclaimed, eyes wide as he noticed Sora, just standing there, seemingly unphased, and with some of the Hookbat heartless surrounding him. He had to bring his shield up to defend himself as Donald quickly cast a fire spell to surround the duck for defense and damage. Why was Sora here? And what was with his eyes?

Oh, what an interesting and amusing turn of events this was, but let's start from the beginning. The Dark Heart and even Donald and Goofy had walked right passed him. Not very observant. Expectant from the arguing duo, but from the Dark Heart? Disappointing. He should pay more attention, or it could get him in trouble. Anti-Sora stayed where he was with the four bats around him. They watched the trio go in their different directions, even greeting each other by name letting the Heartless know they knew each other. Okay. That was all nice and everything, but were they seriously going to just walk pass each other and give him no show? Seriously, did he always have to bring out the fun of tormenting the Light? A frown crossed the Heartless face. Dark Heart was proving to be more useless by the second and not very clever either. A sigh inwardly. Was it even worth testing him at all? Hm? What was this? The Heartless’s thoughts came to a screeching halt as around the same time, the Dark Heart and the arguing duo noticed each other and all of sudden it was too noisy as they yelled at each other as to their reasons for being there. From what the Heartless could kiss they were not on good terms. Well that was good. Maybe he could use that. And now what? Anti-Sora smiled in amusement as he watched things unfold. The Dark Heart wasn’t about to let Donald and Goofy go now that he seen them. Without hesitation he sent three of his knights after duo while keeping two with him and backing away. As the battle began Anti-Sora smiled maliciously as he heard Goofy call out the original’s name, finally spotting him and mistaking him for the real thing. He turned and glanced back at them as he heard the name. “SORA?!” and then the knight was ducking behind his shield as the mage began casting his magic. Oh the fun. Too bad he wasn’t on their side. Turning fully with the smile remaining on his face, he focused on the battle. He’d help the Dark Heart for now and see if he was worth the time and effort. If he proved useless, he could always eat him, right? Not as tasty as Light Hearts, but a Dark Heart made a nice snack. In any case, he'd soon find out where this one rested on his list. “Go help!” Anti-Sora told the bats as he pointed in the direction of Donald and Goofy surrounded by the knights. The Heartless obeyed and joined the fray two for each of the pair. As for Anti-Sora himself, he stepped to the retreating Dark Heart’s side, a shadow version of the Halloween Keyblade held loosely in his hands. “You scared and going to run, Dark Heart?” he asked in a voice similar to Sora’s, but off just enough to be different as he became serious and took Sora’s fighting stance, showing he was going to fight on Pete’s side instead of Donald and Goofy’s. Now then. Time to prove your worth, Dark Heart….or was he simply going to have to do the work himself? ____________________________________________________________ Four Hookbats have joined the fight! 5HP each.

The duck was already on the ball, casting up those pesky spells of his. No shortage of wonder on Pete's end on how that flustered fowl kept the flames from incinerating his own bandages. Goofy would've, but that's why he was kept in charge with a shield. A shield that somehow manages to hit its mark time and time again. Pete still had aches on the rear from the last encounter he had with the silly character and his runt of a leader.
Speaking of which, that new shadowy being calling him a 'Dark Heart' looked awfully like the spiky haired boy who caused a whole bunch of trouble. Pete had to take a moment to look carefully at him, and sort of figured he may have been a heartless of sorts. The mark wasn't obvious, but the dark outlines and glowing yellow eyes sure made him appear like one. His way of talking was funny and them hook bats seemed to follow his commands. Everything about this smelled fishy and the dark brat's taunts didn't improve Pete's mood on the whole thing.
"Me? Run away from those two knuckle-brains? HAH! Yous gots a lot of nerve to think that you glowy eyed brat, just because you got a keyblade and all!" Pete bellowed out, before pointing towards the Disney Town duo. "I don't know why you twos a roaming around here, but you ain't gonna be leaving here without a big of a ruffing up from me see!"
He focused his thoughts to the exact types of back-up to call, then through miniature corridor of darkness's did they come. Pete's newest allies were two barrel spiders and a Neo Shadow, both twitching and eyeing out the scene before them. The three armored knights sent out earlier also halted after seeing Donald set up his flaming barrier, opting to shuffle into a perimeter to surround the enemies in junction with the Hook Bats. They were on their guard, but kept at least a sword length away from the avian sorcerer's flames.
Pete chuckled at this predicament and shifted his weight to an advance instead of a retreat. His hand still was warm around the one of three roller bombs in his pouch, though the time to use it was not yet here. All this waiting around was going to get tiresome and Pete had other things to do than waste time with Mickey's lackeys. Malificent wasn't known for her charity when it came to being waited on.
"Seems we ain't gonna get this show on the road until somebody makes the first move, eh Goof?" Pete taunted, then giving the command for the frontal Armored Knights and the Barrel Spiders to advance in. "Then I'll be the first to put a mark on this here battlefield!"
The Armored Knights moved in a curved, spiral direction from their locations that would converge on the center. One had its sword extended out like a lance as it approached Donald for a pierce attempt. The other two came at Goofy in a different manner, with one jumping up and aiming for his exaggerated neckline and the other opting for a sweep. Pete's Barrel Spiders weren't too far behind, as their skinny legs crawled towards the killzone in a frenzy-like speed. Their single, visible eye was locked onto Donald as they moved in straight formation to the targeted zone.
Despite his lumbering size, Pete kept pace with the Spiders as he charged on in right behind them. The lone Neo-Shadow acted as the oaf's 'shadow,' trailing directly behind him. Lastly, his Armored Knights had received some sort of command to delay their advance until after Pete had gotten in before moving. They simply clanked along as they waited to execute Pete's order.
It was right when Pete and the Barrel Spiders began closing the gap that he removed the roller bomb from his pouch. A good running start plus the high elevation the Barrel Spiders created by moving made for good shooting when it came down to aiming. Pete let loose the bomb while still in motion, after which he continued to advance. It was brilliant! The incoming attacks from the Armored Knights, the ramming power of the Barrel Spiders, plus the pressure from the bomb and of course...HIM would be more than enough to throw those two goonies for a loop~!
And if that don't work, well that's what back up plans are for ain't it? Hehe...[/color]
-------------------------------
Alert!- “Go Get’em!”: Pete makes a gesture and calls forth three heartless to aid him in combat. The three heartless he calls, unlike other summons, have durability instead of duration. Heartless durability translates to how many ‘normal’ hits would be required to vanquish them. If a powerful attack or spell (ex. –ga spells, Flare, Ultima, Ragnarok, Fierce Special Attacks, etc.) were to strike the heartless, two durability points will be subtracted. When heartless are hit by attacks they are weak against, the damage done is doubled; the reverse happens if they are hit by an attack they either absorb (healed by that amount) or resist (halve the damage.)
Cooldown: [4 posts]
ATTENTION! 2 Barrel Spiders and 1 Neo-Shadow has joined the battle!
2 Durability: **
Barrel Spiders: Hidden within wooden barrels, these quadrapods scurry about with their limber legs. Weak against Fire.
3 Durability: ***
Neo-Shadow: The evolution of the basic shadow, these resemble more of a human than the previous incarnation and are far more dangerous in battle. These are smarter and prefer to attack in calculated waves.

Was there such a thing as getting in over your head? Oh there certainly was. Was this a particular case of it? More than likely it was. For not only did they have Pete to contend with and his massive frame that often hurt when he attacked, but they also now had to deal with multiple heartless coming forth. From the figure of what appeared to be Sora came four Hookbats, giving Goofy and Donald the first indication that it was not Sora at all. A closer look from Goofy behind his shield as the Sora-like figure came closer gave Goofy the indication he needed. This wasn’t Sora, but Anti-Sora, the shadow heartless version summoned by Riku over four years ago in Neverland! But what was it still doing alie and kicking? Did this mean Heartless didn’t die? Did this mean that Ansem might still be kicking around somewhere, unharmed by the damage they had all done to him within Kingdom Hearts?!
Goofy and Donald couldn’t think too much on that as the three more enemies appeared, the forms of two barrel spiders and a neoshadow. Those barrel spiders were bad news, with their explodey habits and all! It seemed the three armored Knights Pete had sent before were also now stopped, having opted to hold back since Donald had summoned a means of protecting himself with Fire. Donald quickly began trying to calculate some things quickly about the battle. Five Armored Knights, one Neoshadow, two barrel spiders, and four hook bats. On top of this, Pete and Anti-Sora. That made 13 heartless and Pete, fourteen enemies in total. This… was bad news.
“Ugh Donald… I think we might be in a pickle dent!” “Predicament!” Donald exclaimed at Goofy’s word flub, darting eyes about the heartless and scenery. Some of the gravestones might work as Temporary cover, but this was definitely a battle where they were outmatched. Both Donald and Goofy could clearly see that they could not handle 13 lesser heartless, Pete, and Anti-Sora on their own. They might be able to contend for a while, but they’d be surely defeated. But how to make a strategic retreat? Well, whatever chance for the thinking the pair had was thrown out the window. Pete quickly made his advancement, with the armored knights moving in to attack them and the Barrel Spiders following suite. Even Pete was getting in on it.
Donald reacted quickly when the Armored Knight came for him, moving to sidestep the knight while letting it be damaged by the flames surrounding Donald. Goofy, meanwhile, with two Armored Knights to contend with, had to find a way to jump & duck at the same time, a difficult maneuver. When the first one came for his neck, he ducked low, but caught the one heading for his feat and dis his best to hop over the sweep. His hop, however, detracted from the duck and he felt his shield catch on the one that had gone for his neck, knocking the goof back a few steps. That’s when he saw the barrel spiders coming for Donald. Moving with surprising quickness for the Goof, perhaps the little shown actual Knight training he had, Goofy moved to defend Donald from the spiders by stepping in the way of them. “Donald!” he said, suddenly moving and spinning very quickly. At first, it might have appeared a clutzy move from the Disney Town Clutz, but instead, he was perfoming one of his signature moves. Outstretching his arms, Goofy began to spin in place quickly, creating a small vortex to pull the lesser heartless into while damaging them. He continued spinning, circling Donald for a time to collect the Hookbats that had been flying around them hopefully within the damaging vortex as well.
Donald, utilizing the temporary time as his fire spell died out and Goofy was circling him, quickly raising his staff and letting it spark with miniature fireworks, then pointing it towards Pete soon after he had thrown the bomb, causing large firework to appear in front of Pete to dazzle and harm the man. If they covered a wide enough area, they might even harm the Shadow-Sora as well! But just as Donald finished Casting was when he saw the Bomb coming for him. He yelled in his iconic Donald yell when the Ball came towards him and Goofy--the Goof having finally finished his tornado--exploding on them and knocking them back a good few feet, both Donald and Goofy mildly disoriented from the blast.\

So let’s get this straight. A dog, duck, a cat and shadow unconsciously made plans to explore the same world at the same time, right? Then they all get there only to find they know each other…and happen to be enemies. So what happened after said realization? Chaos on top of more chaos. It was a wonder Anti-Sora was computing it all, but he was. Slowly each thing was taking place in his mind.
First the cat…what was his name? Pete that’s right. Okay, so Pete didn’t like his little comment earlier and had quickly come back with a reply that the Heartless was not offended by, but rather surprised by. Not only had the cat said he wasn’t going to back down, but he knew the keyblade and seemed to have a grudge against it along with one against the two in front of them. It would seem that his form had taken Pete by surprise too, but after careful observation, the cat had guessed what he might be. He read it in the large cat’s Heart and eyes. While the shadow of the hero was curious how the cat understood so much, he had no time to really ask as Pete put his words into action. As the cat began to throw out commands through thoughts that even he could hear, Anti-Sora turned his attention to Donald and Goofy to see how they were holding up. For the moment it seem they held everything at bay. The duck was casting his spells and Goofy was blocking away with his shield. Impressive? No, but expected instead. After all these two were Sora’s friends, so they wouldn’t go down easily. Now for the next part.
So Pete shouted his threats and summoned the Heartless... again nothing impressive. Heartless bowed to the stronger order, this summoning was natural on their part, so moving along. Pete’s knights from before were smart enough to not get hit and the Hookbats avoid the attack by focusing on attacking Goofy from another angle. And yet the duo managed to hold their ground. That was until Pete decided to move in. Taking his Heartless allies went him, he headed into battle with bomb in hand.
His Knights attacked, the Hookbats attacked, and the back up Heartless made the field quite crowded. Anti-Sora relaxed his stance as he simply watched from his spot for a moment. It seemed that even with multiple enemies the duck and goof was hanging in there, managing to dodge and counter attacks. Then came the call of Donald’s name from the chaos and then Goofy was moving quickly spinning about in the silliest of fashions that annoyed Anti-Sora to no end. He stomped a foot down angrily as that cursed vortex took down two of the Hookbats while the other two had been quick enough to get out of the way. Then came the spell that should’ve ended the last two bats, but had only managed to miss one as a wide variety of rockets spewed out from the battlefield going in different direction seeking their target. Around the same time, there was an explosion that was quite different from the one before, no doubt from Pete; however, Anti-Sora did not have time to see what damage had been done to the duo or to Pete for that matter for you see…a rather large rocket had escaped the chaos and was coming at him.
Seeing the attack, Anti-Sora did what he did best when stuck in a pinch. He melted into a puddle of liquid shadows that raced across the barren ground of the graveyard and headed straight into the battle and towards the disoriented pair. When the shadow finally reformed, he was before Goofy looking down upon him. His gaze was cold as he raised the shadowy keyblade and struck downward. Meanwhile, the left over Hookbat moved to attack Donald. ___________________________________________________________________________
Evade: Anti-Sora uses this move to escape damage from an attack (physical or magical). Like a Shadow Heartless, he turns into a puddle of darkness that moves quickly to another spot in the area before he reforms and resumes attacking. While he is in puddle form no harm comes to him. It takes 2 posts for him to reuse this.
1 Hookbat (5 HP) left.

The sparkling lights tickled a happy place inside Pete. Yeah right! What'd you take the villain for? It was only a moment before the Disney veteran realized that the colorful array of fireworks were actually one of Donald's signature spells to fall back on when in a pinch. The random blast arcs and large area of effect would prove to be bothersome, but those past encounters left a lot of unpleasant knowledge for Pete to use for a countermeasure. Everything was flowing well enough anyways.
His bomb had exploded prematurely, but did what it intended to do to a point. The rollerball was supposed to also ignite the Barrel Spiders, but Goof had to go and interfere with that ridiculous spinning attack of his! It's alright though. Pete saw that while roughed up, the Barrel Spiders could still do their mission. They answered the call of his heart and continued to charge at the dazed Disney duo until within a dangerously close range. A small flash sparked from cracks in the barrel and a second explosion erupted in the graveyard. The blast radius to the direct right and left of both of Mickey's trusted companions.
Smoke covered the battlefield, but a shining sphere with a laughing Pete was not hard to detect within it. He had used his barrier spell to negate the damage to himself and was practically calling the fight his victory. The Armored Knights in the distance was joining the festivities, shuffling around amusingly.
Pete dismissed his protective aura and walked closer to the blast zone with a smug look on his face. "You gonna need more tricks then that Duck! I'm just too smart for that old trick of yers you know! GAHAHAHA~!"
He had to be sure though, since he wasn't even paying much attention to what the other party was doing altogether. Pete gets that way when victory is within reach; a classical villainous trait.
The finishing blow was creeping behind Goofy at this point. Right when Anti-Sora had spawned behind Donald, Pete's Neo-Shadow spawned behind a tombstone and was ready to strike at Goofy's noggin. It had followed his orders to stay directly behind until the Barrel Spiders would detonate. Then the Neo Shadow's ability to meld into the ground would use the distraction to move in and finish off the pair.
Things did not look great for the dynamic duo right now!
----------------
Charge Up!- “Pete’s Invincible!”: Pete releases a 360 degree omni barrier that repels all attacks for a brief moment, usually long enough to get a taunt off. If struck by a fierce attack or spell, it sends the barrier moving away but does not breach it. Protects against any attack for one post. Cooldown: [6 posts]
Barrel Spider [Explosion]- The Barrel Spider detonates itself at its current location, creating a 5-10m radius blast zone and damages anybody in the immediate area. Using Fire-element attacks also cause this attack to automatically trigger. (Cooldown: None. Barrel Spiders self-destruct upon using this attack.)
Neo-Shadow [Shadow Body]- For one post, the Shadow melds into the ground and is incapable of being targeted. It can run freely during this time, but cannot attack and is in danger when exiting from the technique. (Cooldown: 2)
Cooldown Skills:
Alert!- “Go Get’em!”: [cooldown: 1/4]

[Sooooo sorry for such a late post]
The explosion from Pete’s little roller ball had been disorienting enough on them, the pair knocked onto their rears on the ground and trying to recover some of their senses. The second explosions did little to help them, the force of the blasts causing them to literally bang their noggins, Donald and Goofy’s heads colliding together and knocking even more screws loose, if that were even possible. The mummified duck and franken-dog had to take a few moments to pause and recollect themselves, but even a few seconds could barely be spared, for it seemed Anti-Sora had suddenly appeared before Goofy, And Pete’s NeoShadow was behind the goof. But Donald was not left alone either. A hookbat was on it’s way to attack him, and the Mage being squishier than the knights, was in much more trouble.
Goofy, being just that bit more hardy, recovered in time to notice the Anti-Sora about to bring the hammer down with the key blade, grimaced, and brought his shild up, managing to block the oncoming blow from Anti-sora, but suddenly feeling the strike at the back of his noggin from the Neoshadow, knocking him back out and causing him to collapse near the duck. The loud sound of the dog crashing brought the duck to consciousness in time to witness his friend drop. His eyes widened and he quickly pulled his wand out with the first inten to to cast a spell, but found himself having to use it to whack away a hookbat before doing so, swinging his wand quickly and casting a cure spell on the Goof in the brief moment the duck had to breath.
Donald swung his wand about madly to protect himself from the attacking hookbat as Goofy regained his consciousness again, slaming his shield up into the NeoShadow that had attacked him earlier and jumping back and around the tombstone to defend himself somewhat. He glanced over to Donald briefly to see his weakened friend barely holding together while swinging his wand around, and slowly moved over to Donald with the intent of defending him. They were a little outmatched here, and without a good bit of luck or some hope, they’d be surely defeated… And they could NOT let that happen!
============================= Abilities: Donald Fire - [2/2] Fantasia - [1/3] Goofy Tonado - [1/3] Donald Cure - Donald casts a cure spell on himself or an ally [1 post cooldown]

The chaos continued, but Anti-Sora was unfazed by it. It would seem that the villain known as Pete was a lot smarter than he looked using whatever knowledge he had on the annoying Light Hearts to his advantage to avoid the duck’s explosive attack. The first explosion had stunned the duo long enough for the Barrel Spiders to get within range and use their natural way of leaving battle to hit the duo with a second blast. Anti-Sora smiled inwardly as the pair’s heads knocked into each other dazing the pair even more. He could use the disorientation to his advantage and since the blasts from the spiders did not go forward, but instead off to the sides, the upper ranking Heartless was left unharmed and free to unleash his attack upon his target.
Unfortunately, Goofy was a bit quicker at recovering making the shield bearing knight that much more of a threat to the Heartless. As the shield came up there was an audible clang! as the shield and keyblade met. The force of the strike combined with the blow caused Anti to recoil a little, but he quickly caught his balance and focused once more on the humanoid dog once more; however, he did not strike immediately as a movement caught his eye.
While Pete was in the background taunting and laughing while his knights celebrated, all Heartless seemed to be doing the villain’s dirty work. Right now for example, the Neoshadow that Pete had summoned appeared from behind Goofy and took a swipe at his head. And guess what? That Neoshadow smacked the Goof good! If Anti-Sora had been the real Sora, perhaps he would’ve been upset with the Neoshadow. Perhaps he would’ve even attacked the Neoshadow to protect his friend; however, Anti-Sora was not Sora nor was he human. When he saw the blow made, he had to keep himself very composed and resist the urge to huge the Neo for what it had done. Oh the fun!
As Goofy slumped to the ground unconscious from the blow, a cruel and pleased smile appeared on Anti’s face. Oh how nice it was to see him that way. Defeated and that Heart of his within easy reach; however, unlike Pete who would call this victory his so soon, Anti was not a fool or one to soak up the joy the sight cause him. Oh no. He knew better than to count Goofy out. After all that cursed duck could heal, no?
As soon as the thought escaped his mind, Anti’s smile faded as he turned slightly to see how the duck was fairing. Injured or not, the duck was swinging his wand about and managed to land a lucky blow on the Hookbat that was after him. The smaller Heartless was knocked back and floated a bit dazed for a few seconds in the air, giving the duck enough time to cast his cursed healing spell. As expected, Goofy sprang back up, awake and okay once again. It was annoying, but to be expected out of the boneheaded pair.
Anyway, Anti’s focus returned to Goofy as the dog like creature moved, bashing his shield into the Neoshadow before jumping away and behind a tombstone, focusing on the defense once more. Anti’s cold glare stayed on Goofy watching as he tried to inch his way over to Donald to help aid the duck no doubt. Ha! Fat chance of that happening.
Fully confident in the Neoshadow’s abilities to withstand attacks, Anti-Sora dashed from his position and slid around the tombstone until he was finally in Goofy’s path, blocking him from getting to Donald. Granted Goofy could get around him, but that wasn’t going to happen without a fight.
Anti’s golden eyes glowed in the darkness of the world as a malicious grin spread across his face as remained eye level with the hunched over knight, his golden eye locking on the other’s.
“Aww, what’s wrong, Goofy? Not happy to see me?” the Heartless said mimicking Sora’s voice and actions almost absolutely as he frowned, giving the Heartless the ability to at least get the taunt out without trouble. Once the taunt was out the smile faded away and the Heartless became serious once more. Spinning slightly to give his swing more power, Anti brought his keyblade down upon Goofy with a diagonal swing starting from his left shoulder, going across the chest area, and ending at the right hip; however, Anti knew that Goofy’s defense was hard to break, so he did not expect his first blow to land. Struck or not, the Heartless would continue his movement, shifting his weight and blade so that he could bring the blade back up at angle, hoping to catch the bottom of the shield with the teeth of the key and with the upward movement either tear the shield from Goofy’s grasp or at least making an opening for an attack. From there the Heartless repositioned himself once more and thrust the blade outward. If his plan to punch a hole in Goofy’s defense was successful, he would hit the knight right in his exposed chest.
Meanwhile, on Donald’s end, it seemed the Hookbat he had struck before had not over looked the offense. Dodging the swings of the wand, the bat swooped forward and wrapped its hooked tail around the wand before flapping its wings quickly to give it a reverse motion. The Hookbat was trying to pull Donald’s wand right out of his hand! _________
Evade: Anti-Sora uses this move to escape damage from an attack (physical or magical). Like a Shadow Heartless, he turns into a puddle of darkness that moves quickly to another spot in the area before he reforms and resumes attacking. While he is in puddle form no harm comes to him. It takes 1 post for him to reuse this.
(1) Hookbat: 3 HP left.
