The castle looming above the small town of Radient Garden, known as Hollow Bastion. From it's dark, dank waterways, sweeping open walksways and lifts circumnavigating the outside the castle to the eerie shadows within the Castle Chapel at the height of it's climb, the castle offers many places for wide open battle. It was here Sora, Donald, Goofy and Beast once scaled the towers and turrets to stop a possessed Riku, Malificent and Xehanort's Heartless from opening the world's keyhole with the seven Princesses of Heart. Now all that remains are the masses of powerful Heartless left behind from the keyhole's opening, awaiting for victims to brave the abandoned castle and it's emptiness beyond. The only thing the Heartless cannot claim are the technological constructs, such as the many lifts powered by magic, that were left behind by Ansem the Wise and his apprentices long ago.
(OOC: Only Snow, Cecil and Lightning are the heroes in this thread, and their presence will shift the castle from Darkness to Light. If three or more villains or characters do not submit a raid form to challenge them and defend the world for Darkness within ten days, the world will be left defenseless and the Light will claim it! Let the raid begin.)

In the mysterious castle of Hollow Bastion, danger lurked around every corner. There were lifts that went all over the castle, and heartless lurking around every corner. The hall outside the library was quiet and at peace, at least until there was a flash of light, and Snow Villiers crashed into the ground. As he slowly got up, he looked around to see where he was. It looked like a normal room, with nothing out of the ordinary.
"Dark and eerie; cold and menacing. Sounds like the Hollow Bastion that was described. Well, since I'm here, mine as well help the mouse out. The more places under his control, the less trouble there will be apparently." With that thought in mind, Snow began walking around, to get a better idea of what the place looked like.

A dark portal opened up not too far away from Snow. A man in all white armor walked out of it. This man was giving off a magnificent light aura. His hair was long and a whitish blond color. His eyes were a crisp blue color like the ocean which gave a very peaceful look to him. On both arms he had arm bands, which started from his wrists to his elbows. The color of the bands are white like the clouds.
This mans name is Cecil Harvey once more he had been summoned to fight the villains."You must be the one who summoned me?" He said with a very gentle smile. So they needed to find the villains first? He was always glad to aid any heroes of light to stop the forces of evil. If everything was going to be at peace the heroes must band together. By doing that they could be a force to be reckoned with.
Before their conversation could go on any further he needed to wait for a response. Waiting was not too much of an issue for Cecil. Since he had to wait, he was just going to look around with his eyes. This place looked to be very interesting indeed. They were going to battle in this castle? Sadly, some things might get damaged in the process. Hopefully, nothing would get severely damaged.

A portal, not of darkness or light but rather one that faded it's user into the room by a way of matter manipulation appeared before the two warriors of the Light. The fountain was beautiful, softly pouring water upon itself as a being of great and immeasurable power appeared before it's grand display. Above this individual, a grand chandelier hung, and around the fountain were two staircases rounded to an upstairs just as elegant as the bottom floor. After the words of both warriors the room was silent, with exception of the soft lapping of water in the fountain.
An evil laughter of sinister nature erupted from the portal, filled with malice and cruelty. As the portal disappeared, the sorceress Ultimecia stepped forward, looking upon the two who had been foolish enough to stage an attack on this world. "So, you are the impudent fools who seek to restore the Light here." she asked Cecil and Snow. Ultimecia smirked, then shook her head while slowly closing her eyes, reopening them as she stopped the motion seconds later. "This castle, shall become your graves!" she declared, throwing out her right hand towards the both of them.
The environment began to fluctuate over the two warriors, turning the air a deep purple and black before inflicting damage upon the two warriors, also putting the curse status on them. After the Maelstrom spell had been cast, Ultimecia teleported upwards so that she now stood upon the tip of the fountain. As she balances there, glaring down upon the now cursed heroes she held out her hands. Lightning began to crackle and bolt within her purple, clawed hands as the sorceress started to charge Thundaga spells for her enemies.

Hollow Bastion. The castle of Darkness and one and only place where a certain silver-haired Remnant and a blond-haired Keyblader grew a massive rivalry together. It was also here that the said Remnant learned to harness his power over the Darkness and use it to boost his strength and speed. The witch, Maleficent was to thank for that since she had trained Riku before helping out the Remnant, known as Kadaj and the Keyblader, known as Keldric to better enhance themselves. Those thoughts brought back some fun memories to be honest. Keldric was always so determined to show Maleficent just how good he was doing, only for the Remnant to beat him at almost every turn. Keldric's heart was too Light for him to grasp a powerful enough grip over the Darkness, where as the Remnant himself was nothing but the purest evil, born directly from the Legendary Sephiroth's hate.
This castle, also the stage for one of the three great battles Kadaj had fought against the Twilight Keyblader, Riku. Each time their weapons crossed, the match resulted in a draw. It had been several months since they last encountered one another and the silver-haired Remnant couldn't help but wonder whether the two forces would cross blades once more in the war of Light and Darkness. ~I better see you again... I want to see how much stronger you've become...~ The Remnant thought to himself as he stepped out of the shadows from behind one of the pillars upon the upper floor surrounding the water fountain. Two powerful Light presences were in this room as well as a single Dark one. As Kadaj stepped into view on the second floor, he leaned forwards on the balcony casually and just smirked down at the two men. ~This is it? This is all the Light could gather to attack this world?~
The area dimmed into a purple glow as a spell from the Dark presence was unleashed upon the unfortunate heroes. Kadaj's glowing, mako-fueled eyes traced up the fountain until they landed upon the figure of Ultimecia. Sure she was pretty in some twisted and dark way, but she certainly had the temper and attitude to match it as well. Maelstrom. A nasty spell inflicting Curse to the victims and blasting them with a powerful darkness aura. Not nice at all, but thankfully, the attack wasn't aimed at the Remnant. Kadaj himself just remained leaning against the balcony and wondered just why his new ally was rushing head long into battle so soon? It was much more fun to play and tease the enemy to get warmed up first. Kadaj shook his head slightly and pushed himself up off the balcony before jumping up onto it and peering down at the two unsuspecting heroes.
~Of course... she's a magic user. She has no need to warm up since spells come at the mere flick of a wrist...~ The silver-haired man thought to himself as he peered at his left forearm that housed his Materia from Gaia. This was certainly going to be in interesting battle. To fight his enemies at close melee range and not to get struck by any of Ultimecia's spells. He smirked as the thought reminded him of his four-on-one match in Spira against Tifa, Vincent, Tseng and Rufus. That was good fun, but now wasn't the time to dwindle. The Light needed to be destroyed and these two fools would be the first victims! Kadaj threw one of his hands back and grasped at the handle of his Souba, pulling it out the sheath and listened as the blades sang as they sliced through the air. The Remnant twisted his wrist and flicked his weapon around his hand, before holding it in a reserve hand grip, his eyes glaring down at the two heroes.

Lightning rushed down the streets of Hollow Bastion. She was running at a quick pace, her gunsword being kept in one hand. Her red shoulder-cape blew in the breeze as she ran. She had just been summoned to this world. For a reason she wan't sure of just yet. But either way she was here now. When she had exitted the portal that she came from she sensed something from the far off distance. It sounded like a battle was starting up. Lightning assumed this is why she had been brought her. It must have been to fight. Another fight that she was going to have to pertake in. All she seemed to do was fight and protect people anymore. It was getting restless for her. She kept on going trying to find where this fight was being held.
Lightning noticed the extreme prescence of darkness that was in this place. It was almost overwhelming. Lightning had struggled with the darkness prior to this. It always seemed to find someway to overtake her. She didn't know why she always seemed to fall to it...but she did. Though Lightning had learned something from one of her last battles. When she was in Traverse Town. She had met the Goddess Cosmos and the keyblader Sora. Both of them had a strong prescene of light and understanind it. Especially Cosmos. Lightning felt a bit out of place with them. She had felt so much weaker to the darkness then the other two. Sure Lightning was a very strong physical fighter. But she hadn't been as strong as she could against the darkness. She isolated herself so much and didn't le her emotions come through as much as she should.
Lightning learned from Sora and Cosmos that light was the way to go. And she wanted to do her best to keep those words of wisdom with her. And put her to action. They had helped her back in Traverse Town. Cosmos had given both her and Sora some light to keep with them. Lightning was able to keep a good hold on hers. Even though she had doubted herself. Thoughts of light were running through the mind of the young warrior. Lightning was a bit intimidated by the darkness of this area. It seemed the more she ran, the stronger it became. She just kept on telling herself the same thing in her mind. 'Remember...don't lose your light.' She kept on repeating in her head. It was all she could do. But she still felt like she was going to do bad in this battle. She still had to fight though. She had been brought here for a reason.
Lightning stopped and she slowed her pace down. She saw a group of people ahead. She wanted to take note of who was there before she ran right in. Who she should be allying herself with. It would be the better move. She saw some woman who seemed to be setting some spell on this area. Lightning watched her closely. She would be tough to handle. Nearby she noticed a familar face. She remembered meeting this silver-haired man before. Back in Traverse Town. He had allied himself with the clown man. She had a feeling that he was going to ally himself with the woman. They both seemed to be more prone to the darkness. But...who were they fighting against?
She turned her gaze to the opposing side. She saw a man who clearly did resemble a hero. He had on full armor and his weapon drawn. She looked beside him. This one she recognized clearly. And she was for once, glad to see. Usually she was far from happy to see him. She wasn't exactly fon of this paticular man. But he could be considered her ally. Especially in this situation. She didn't hate him. She just disliked a lot of things with his attitude. But it wasn't common for Lightning to have dislike toward someone. A lot irritated her or made her mad. But without another thought she ran onto the scene, careful of attacks that might come toward her. She wanted answers. And she figured that Snow would have some.
"Snow...whats going on? Did you get summoner to fight also?" Lightning said snd she drew her weapon looking away to him for the moment. She looked to Cecil for the moment. She hadn't really greeted him or anything. And he was going to be her ally in battle. But then again...she hadn't greeted Snow. She just came up and asked questions. Lightning looked away from him and she turned her focus back to the two enemies. They were the ones who had brought the darkness to this world. Lightning had to fight for something she struggled with. Light...

Hollow Bastion.
What the hell was this place? A barren, lifeless expanse mostly devoid of civilization but for that little town and that wicked-looking castle. A castle which, Kuja noticed, seemed to harbor a great amount of darkness in its walls, and was therefore at least slightly of interest; darkness generally attracted beings of the most interesting sort -- those with neither conscience nor morals, those with great powers, and those that were most easily to manipulate.
They were also the type to throw the best parties, and one seemed to be going on right at this very moment. How rude of the host not to invite him!
"So, you are the impudent fools who seek to restore the Light here."
Oh, well, knowing this host, he couldn't very well expect even a modicum of etiquette. Kuja recognized that voice immediately -- how could he forget such a grating squawk? It was enough to make him stumble in his step through the darkness, think twice about checking out the fray; but the temptation to spread a little chaos won out over his reluctance to reunite with old company, and so he made his approach, making to flank the one he didn't yet recognize.
"Cutting right to the chase, Ultimecia? You have no sense of foreplay." Once he got a little closer, he realized who it was accompanying the old witch; why, if it wasn't Sephiroth's little brother! He was a little more agreeable than the time mage -- or so he seemed to remember, but perhaps that was just from his attitude towards Sephiroth being a smidge fonder. Taking his place beside Kadaj, he acknowledged him with a brief smile before turning his attention to the thickening cursed fog below. He squinted a little, leaning forward to try and kiss the opposition.
...That was the opposition?
"Is this really necessary?"

As Snow looked around the area, a heroic looking guy entered, wearing white armor and having white hair. Snow had not met the person before, yet apparently he had summoned him here. Snow thought for a moment, and came up with the obvious reason for this. "Hey, nice to meet you. The name is Snow Villiers. I guess I did summon you here. Figured I could use some backup while trying to claim this place for the Mouse guy."
Just then a figure faded into the room. It was a strange creature the likes of that Snow had never seen. Unfortunately, the being looked rather dangerous, and possibly threatening. Just then it spoke, calling him and the other guy impudent fools, and that the castle was going to be his grave. Now Snow knew he wasn't the smartest guy around, but he was smart and strong enough to not be a fool and to put up an admirable fight in battle.
Just then, the environment began to change, and Snow jumped backwards, sliding a bit. Unfortunately, he was not quick enough, and ended up taking damage from a dark spell. Not only that, but a strange feeling came over Snow that made him feel weak. "What-what the hell? " He got up, but feel weaker than normal. Not only that, but a new person showed up. The new guy seemed just as dangerous, but more bearable than the first enemy.
As Snow was thinking, the most unexpected person showed up, and for once he was happy. Lightning, Serah's older sister, had appeared on the scene. Of course, the first thing she says is if he was summoned to battle as well. She was never good at greetings, especially towards him. She wasn't fond of him at all, but luckily she was an excellent fighter. H-hey Lightning; no hello or how are you? You can say that I came here to fight. Thought I'd help out the Mouse by claiming a world for him. Ran into a bit of trouble though."
Unfortunately, the joy did not last long, as another enemy appeared, commenting on the first enemy that appeared. Three vs Three; definitely not favorable odds on Snow's part. From looking at the enemies, Snow figured that his best chance would be to take on the second enemy. He seemed more of a fighter than magic user. That is when Snow came up with an idea. Since he was close to the white haired hero guy, he whispered to him. "I can probably take on the silver haired guy with the sword. Can you help keep the others off in the meantime?" With that, Snow charged forward to deliver a devastating punch to the silver-haired guy (Kadaj).

Cecil listened to Snow until they were interrupted and attacked. A purple like mist covered the area hence slightly weakening them. Which was rather good for the witch or whatever, she was. Next a silvered hair man came in as well. He was on the opposing team followed up by a girl. She appeared to know Snow, which was good. The King could tell she was on their side. Finally, the last bad guy appeared.
Not only the area was filled with a purple mist but a war was literally going on here. A gentle white mist shrouded Cecil's hand. Until there was a very interesting sword in his hand. The handle is a dark orange color which extends to a gold hilt. On the sides of the hilt seem to be two horns. The blade itself is a dark orange/golden color with a golden streak going through it.
This curse that was casted upon him and his alley should not last long at all. With all one easy motion Cecil jumped on the railing and made a front flip off it. Thus landing on his feet with grace. His eyes looked to the magic caster and then to the new enemy. Cecil had found his opponent for a brief time. Meaning they might just switch during the fight. Who knows what could happen with this many people.
Quickly, he jolted passed Ultimecia and then Kadaj. As he got in range Cecil leaped up in the air and came down on Kuja. He made and attempted single strike upon his enemy. To keep things going once he landed on his feet he made a back flip to gain a little distance. Once he landed on his feet from his back flip he pushed himself up in the air slightly. Thus moving like a propeller towards Kuja.
Cecil brought out his blade and attempted a rising slash on Kuja.

Ultimecia stood there, lightning cracking in her hands as the Thundaga spells reached full power. She ignored the coy remarks of Kuja, not bothering to look towards him to dignify the harbinger with a response. The heroes continued their introductions, followed by attacks to Kadaj and Kuja by Snow and Cecil. The sorceress leaped high into the air forwards, then fired both powerful Thundaga spells down towards Lightning. It mattered not if the spells hit her or not, but what was certain that the highly decorative floor would become fractured and undone upon impact.
She rotated in the air after firing the spells at her foe into an elongated front flip, then she finished by landing on the upper floor. She looked over towards her allies to see both Snow and Cecil engage them with a form of physical combat. Then she used her ability of matter manipulation to sink through the floor to the first level where she had fired her her spells moments prior. As she descended slowly Ultimecia fired a Meltdown spell beneath her. Should it hit, Lightning would be completely vulnerable to physical attacks.
It was indeed odd to find herself fighting for the Darkness rather than herself. Normally Ultimecia would be running the show, and not a group of Heartless. However, with the way things were she had decided to go out and claim worlds for them, for a reason more blacker than the darkness they Horsemen relished. The evil of the sorceress knew no bounds, and playing with her foes like Kuja would do was but a waste of time. To what purpose did it serve, to affront one's enemy for the sake of lowering their morale?
Rather than letting herself land, Ultimecia teleported to the outside of the front doors to the entrance hall. Quickly she charged two more Thundaga spells, then fired them forwards, resulting in an explosion that blew the grand doors inwards in an attempt to crush the female hero. The heroes were in for the fight of their lives, and if not that, then one of the most epic and disastrous they would ever bare witness to. "I am Ultimecia." spoke the sorceress to Lightning. "I shall send you to a dimension beyond your imagining, denizen of Light."

Kadaj flicked his wrist a second time, the dual blades of his Souba spinning around behind his back before taking a firmer grip upon the handle, continuing to hold his weapon behind him in a reverse hand grip. This usually indicated that the Remnant was going to be on the defensive for the time being and it seemed that it was a smart idea. After the spell that Ultimecia had cast just moments ago, the two heroes were joined by a third. The silver-haired man had to pause and look towards the new comer. A smirk spread across his lips as he twisted his body more in her direction. ~Lightning? Well isn't this turning out to be interesting?~ The avatar of Sephiroth said, continuing to hold his smirk before focusing his attention back onto the hero who seemed to have gotten him in his sights.
The Remnant leaped down from off the balcony, watching Ultimecia pass by as she made her way to where he was once standing. Time felt like it moved slowly then as he stared at her, his glowing turquoise glaring at her as if she were the enemy herself. A second passed that felt like a minute, and Kadaj eventually completed his flip off the balcony, twisting in the air and landing on the floor below, a short distance before Snow. Landing with cat-like agility, Kadaj smiled as he always did when fighting and kept his blade behind his back, watching as Snow closed the gap between them and threw a punch, initiating combat. However, Kadaj noticed something. Snow didn't seem to be as good as he should be, and with that spell that Ultimecia cast earlier, inflicting Curse upon him, the silver-haired man wondered.
Knowing that his speed was the greatest out of all three of the Remnant's, Kadaj zipped to one side, taking a large step and getting out the way of Snow's assault. As he did, the Remnant raised his free hand and pointed his palm at the hero. "Wait..." He said, not moving and watching Snow for a second, focusing his own Darkness around Snow, trying to feel his presence and sense the condition of his heart. It wasn't his heart though, as the Remnant quickly discovered. It seemed that the Curse was effecting the heroes body instead. Not wasting any time, since there were plenty more worlds to attack, Kadaj used his Darkness to absorb the Curse from Snow, dispelling it from the hero. The silver-haired Remnant clenched his open palm into a fist and a small 'poof' of darkness wafted away in the light breeze. "There. If you're not fighting at your fullest, then you're not worth my time..." Kadaj said, eying Ultimecia before she vanished into the floor. Kadaj wasn't a coward. He enjoyed his fights and didn't use any dirty tricks or spells that might weaken his opponent. After that, Kadaj jumped backwards and opened the gap between himself and Snow, smiling at him as he brought his Souba around and held it defensively before himself. Using his free arm, Kadaj beckoned the hero to come at him once more, smiling throughout.

Lightning just rolled her eyes when she heard Snow mention how Lightning had not greeted him with a hello or something like that. Typical of Snow. What else was she expecting from him. "Snow this is serious...act like an adult for once in your life." Lightning said at him. She sighed growing angry with him aready. She had to calm down a bit though. Fighting with Snow would just be pointless right now. She listened to Snow's reasoning for why he was here and she just nodded her head once. "I didn't come here by choice...but I'm not going to back down now that I'm here. This darkness can't go on." Lightning said and she looked down for the moment. Darkness...she still felt so intimidated by it.
Lightning looked up studying each of her future opponent. A new one seemed to have join the groups. He looked a bit...well feminine. But she wasn't going to determine his strength just on the basis of physical appearance. He called them fools and seemed to be underestimating them. Lightning figured that she would just let them underestimate them. She knew that she was strong. And despite how she thought him to be an idiot, Snow was a good fighter. And she really didn't know anything about their third party member. But if he was willing to take the dedication to come to this fight against the darkness, then he must be a good fighter. Or strong to an extent. She wanted to try and keep the thoughts of her teammates high. It was good to have a little bit of confidence. It was just being over-confident that was the bad. As well as underestimating opponents.
Lightning also noticed Kadaj give her that smirk. That cold smirk. He obviously remembered her if that was the case. She remembered him too. She wondered if she was going to get the chance to fight him. She didn't really get much of a chance too during the alst time they had met. She was curious about this man. Lightning turned her head when she heard Snow speaking of strategy. Why was he planning everything out here? What made Snow think that he was strong enough to take on Kadaj. He didn't know that. Lightning wondered if he was underestimating Kadaj. Or just being overconfident. Lightning assumed overconfidence from Snow. Just when she was about to take the moment to scold Snow for this, Snow already charged at the silver-haired man. Lightning watched as Cecil decided to take charge at the other man. She was a bit annoyed that Snow was planning it out with Cecil and just leaving her with whoever was left. She wasn't going to let something like that influence her that much. All three of them had to be defeated if they had any hope of winning.
Lightning looked to who she was going to be fighting. The three versus three seemed to be separating into one versus one. Lightning was going to be going against the female of the dark group. Figures. She watched as the Sorceress jumped into the air and aimed a magic attack at her. Lightning reacted quickly and she activated her temporary energy shield to protect her from this attack. So this woman specialized in magic it seemed. The two men seemed to be more brute fighters. At least she god that idea from the one she met prior to this, Kadaj. She had a feeling that fighting with someone who specialized in magic would be tough. It was mainly going to be dodging and attempting to get in a hit or so. Lightning was lucky that she was fast and that she could manipulate her speed though. That should be an aid to help.
Lightning watched as the Sorceress aimed the Meltdown spell at her. Lightning reacted quickly dodge rolling out of the way. She remained safe from this one. But this dodging would get harder and harder. She watched the Sorceress disappear and then burst the doors open. Lightning looked to her, now on the same grounds as her. She introduced herself and mentioned how she would send her too a dimension beyond light. Of darkness. Lightning wasn't afraid. She knew to keep her light with her. "Lightning...and good luck with that." Lightning said in her cold tone of voice and she activated one of her speed up techniques. She jumped in the air and charged at the Sorceress with full force. She practically ran while in the air and when she came back down, she swung her sword down hard, aiming it at the Sorceress.
