Marluxia stepped out of the door to darkness a few moments after entering it on Twilight Town, his new student at his tail. He had not glanced back during the journey to see if Meer was following, if the girl turned out to be too weak to stand the realm of darkness then she was not worth it to the Graceful Assassin. He was certain that it would take her a moment longer to come out of the portal then it had him. Either way it was now skin off of his nose, Meer would be an interesting asset to hold, but nothing depended on her. As useful as she could be, assuming that he was able to mold her correctly, Marluxia would be able to find others in the future. XI was not with resources, and he already had a few individuals in mind that he could bring under his control, with careful planning.
He glanced around him, the Heartless had not appeared before him yet. With good reason, the Heartless obeyed whoever was strongest, and Marluxia was the strongest in the immediate area by far. As much as the Heartless disgusted him he knew that they could be useful tools, in the right situations. Against the Keyblader they were all but useless, Sora had dispatched every Heartless to cross his path, even Xehanort's. Briefly Marluxia mused as to why Xehanort had gained such a powerful, and sentinel Heartless, but it was obvious that anything to do with Xemnas was incredibly unique. The Superior of the Organization was not one that Marluxia would face in battle without heavy favor on his side.
He stood stoically as he waited for his apprentice, finding amusement in the term. No one had learned from him before as Meer sought to learn, but he had more then ample confidence in his ability to teach her how the handle her powers. Even if his experience in magic itself was somewhat... Limited, Marluxia understood the principles of it, and was certain that once Meer learned enough that she would take off and gain more then enough power on her own. Marluxia would continue to watch her, though. He could not have his first student becoming too powerful, less he create competition for himself. He glanced back at the portal, if things go correctly it would only be a moment before Meer appeared...
