(I think its night time. Forgot.. x.x)
As Selena turned around Zack instantly noticed her eyes. Which slowly caused him to 'feel' something. This something felt a lot like love. How could he have all these emotions so soon? Even the sound of her sweet soft voice just somewhat mesmerized him. " Do you want to dance? Everyone else is." Zack said with a small smile on his face. He hadn't danced in a long time.
"What I don't think I've ever danced before." Zack thought in his mind.
After thinking a little, he held out his hand and looked into Selenas eyes. He just watched them glisten in the pale moon light. There was no kind of response for the girl so far so what should he do? He needed to pick things up. He couldn't just do nothing about this. Here is in front of a girl which he some how loves, and he is just standing here.
Gently, he took his left hand and slowly reached out for her left hand and gave a gentle smile. You could say Zack was just trying to get a dance with a lovely lady. It's not everyday someone gets to be with an angel. Now the rest was up to Selena. What would she say or do? Zack was really hoping she would dance with him. Maybe they could have something of a fun time together. Like the other people here.

Selena did not know yet that her own strange silver eyes which were normally emotionless but now glistening in every light that was present was the quality that had captured this man's heart. She did not even know that her voice had captured his attention on her. The woman was too busy trying not to stare to deeply into his own orbs and not to melt from his soft smile. It was like the barriers that had taken this 'angel' ten years to build up around her own heart were breaking down.
His voice asking her to dance had brought her back to the present and she blinked several times before her incoherent mind managed to think of an answer for the handsome man in front of her. "I do not see why not but I will warn you that I have not danced before."answered Selena as she reached for his left hand with her own and gently accepted his hand. With that smile, how could she say no?
The young 'angel' did not even know his name but she was already feeling emotions that cannot be described. She decided that those emotions can be labeled as 'good' as the young woman had not even lost control. Selena was feeling her heart beat again but no negative reaction. What is this place?wondered the angel but she didn't care anymore. The woman genuinely smiled at him.
Selena felt at home with the man in front of her and her heart trusted him.

Zack gave a gentle nod in agreement with Selena. With that he led her over to the others and started to do the same dance as they were doing. "I guess we can learn by watching." He kept his eyes on someone in front of him and noticed his dancing stance. Alternatively he changed his stance to match the person he saw dancing. After that his gentle eyes looked deep into Selenas.
"I think I got it right?" [/i]
He said to himself. So far, their dancing was doing fine. It maybe wasn't the best, but it was sure fairly good. With every step Zack took a small breath and kept his eyes on his partner. He couldn't keep his eyes off her for she was just so beautiful. Everything about her mad him attracted to her. This was just one amazing night for Zack, and he would hope he could remember it.....
He felt as though this night could go on forever. But alas they only have about a few more hours before everything ends for them. When that happens Zack knows he and Selena must go their separate ways. For now he was just going to dance and focus on his lovely partner who seemed to be good at dancing. Everyone else seemed to no longer exist to Zack. It was like Selena and himself were only here.

Tifa watched as Vincent bowed his head to her. She never really was in a situation like this. Around a gentlemen. It was a refreshing change. And she liked it. Tifa lowered her own head to him slightly, her leg tucking behind the other and her arms out slightly. Making it almost a curtsey motion. Tifa's dress was fairly short and slimming, so she wouldn't really be able to curtsey in it. But she still managed to look fairly graceful while doing so. Tifa didn't really ever see herself as graceful, or even beautiful for that matter. She sometimes felt pretty. But there was a big difference between a pretty girl, and a beautiful girl. Tifa usually felt pretty...well average. She didn't feel too comfortable in the dress exactly. Maybe a bit self-concious. At least thats how she felt when she first walked in and saw that she was wearing it. Someway and somehow.
But after she made eye contact with him, Tifa felt completely relaxed around him. And she almost felt her self-confidence growing. She actually did feel beautiful. Not average, not pretty, but beautiful. And that was such a nice thing to feel. She liked to have this confidence with her. Usually, she was aways so shy about things, lacking every bit of confidence within herself. Plus she hid her feelings. Her feelings for someone, who she did not recall. She recalled him, but she just didn't remember how she felt for him. Cloud. Something felt wrong when she thought about Cloud tonight. It was so odd. And yet...it felt like she was feeling something right when it came to Vincent. Something very right. Something that she never imagined that she would harbor for him.
Tifa blushed lightly when he told her that she looked nice. She looked down, trying to hide her blush. But she was smiling. And smiling with pure happiness that was just radiating. She appreciated his kind words to her so much. For some reason, she really wished to hear him talk more about her. She wanted to hear him compliment her more. And she wanted to be able to compliment him. But no matter how much of a self-confidence boost Tifa got from simple words, she was still herself. And that was her being shy. She wanted to say so many things to Vincent right now. But that was still being blocked by her natural personality. She was practically yelling at herself in her mind for acting like this. She was just getting so aggravted with herself. She really just wanted to have a good time with Vincent and not have to worry about silly things. Like how she was right now. Maybe this was like how she usually acted around that other person. It seemed like it, from what she recalled. It just felt like she lost all of those memories of the feelings she harbored for the blonde ex-SOLDIER.
Tifa noted that Vincent seemed to be a bit shy about making eye contact. That made her feel partly better. Mainly because he seemed to be in a similar situation to herself. However, one of them would have to make the first step. To make this something more then just awkward standing, and staring into the eyes. She wanted to, bt she just wasn't sure what she should or could do exactly. Tifa looked up to him, trying to make eye contact with him again. They both had been looking down for a bit of time it seemed. Tifa watched as he brought his hand out and extended it to her. Tifa stared at it for a moment, and then she looked back up to him. He offered her dance. Tifa smiled, tucking some of her long black hair behind her ear. She never danced before. Never had the oppurtunity to. But...it seemed rather fun. She wanted to dance. Especialy with Vincent. Tifa looked to him and she nodded her head.
"I'd love to..." Tifa said as she lifted her own hand and she put it in his. She felt some sort of connection when she did this. A good one. A strong one.

Dancing was an activity Selena had not expected herself to do even when she was younger and it did not even occur to her while she was traveling alone for ten years. The angelic keybearer was busy fighting by herself to stay alive and search for the home that she had literally fallen out of. She did not know yet whether it was fallen by Darkness, the very affiliation Selena was still on, or live and well. But tonight Selena had thrown away her worries to replace it with this unidentified but warm emotion known as love. In formal dress, the angelic warrior allowed the man to lead her in the dance as she placed one hand on his shoulder and the other arm around his waist. She did not know if this was the correct position at all but it seemed right. Then again, Selena did not know how to dance so how should she know? The man in front of her was driving her crazy in love an excellent way and she couldn't take her eyes off him. Selena soon noted the 'x' shaped scar close to his jaw but only found herself smiling. It only made him handsome. "You know....I don't think we know each others names yet." stated the angelic keybearer after a good half hour into the dance but her voice was in good humor as there was even a hint of a laugh inside her voice.

A breath that he seemed to be holding was exhaled in relief as Vincent heard Tifa's answer, and felt her place her hand within his own. A soft smile curled at his pale lips, feeling her gently clasped hand within his own, and tugged her along slowly alongside him as he lead her out to the middle of the dance floor. The song was a steady and low-beat number, perfect for lovers who wanted to end the night holding each other in their arms, a thought that had not been lead too astray from Vincent's mind. He entertained the notion and put it into action, letting his other hand slip around to be placed on her hip, pulling her snugly against him. His breath froze in place for a moment at the close proximity of their bodies, taking in how unusually right it felt to hold her close to his chest, and swayed gradually in rhythm to the sleepy beat.
Noticing Tifa had flicked her silky brunette hair back behind her backless shoulders of her dress, he flicked his own head back slightly to tidy up the frame of wild bangs that had been framing his face, so nothing more would become between them. How he felt the urge to raise a hand a brush his fingers though that shiny, soft hair, but his arms seemed too comfortable in Tifa's hand and clasped around her side. Feeling more comfortable now, he had no choice - not that he had any - to stare slightly down into Tifa's eyes. And by that, try not to stare too intimidatingly - her eyes were brown and soulful, almost hypnotic, as if they were drawing him in towards her. These eyes told him she was deep and meaningful inside, that she was down to earth and had a wisdom about her that others could not see. Not that he hadn't had those thoughts of her before, but now they seemed more intensified just by her stare.
He knew what was behind those eyes as well, knew Tifa's story from what he had heard through their time together traveling across their planet after the hazy threat he couldn't be bothered to remember now. She had been living in their home town of Nibelheim, becoming a tour guide there for the Shin-Ra warriors that had come to eliminate the threat in the re-actor, so full of youthful innocence the small-town girl had been. How the silver-haired swordsman had gone mad, set the town ablaze and killed her own father. There was so much love and warmth in her eyes, but there was pain as well, lost love and a longing that had gone unfulfilled for a long time. He could not remember the name of the ex-soldier in the back of his mind now, nor did he want to at that particular moment in time, all he could see was the girl who had been hurt in love... as much as he had.
"Speaking of love..." he spoke his voice a deep drawl, his hand now daring to part from Tifa's hand as he lifted it up, to tuck back a strand of her that had fallen over her shoulder she had missed. He paused for a long moment, as he brushed the hair back with his fingers, and over again, as if he couldn't help himself from stopping the paticular motion meant to reassure her. "...I love... how beautiful you look, tonight." he said a confident, yet breathless whisper, and leaned in slightly. He didn't know if it was the mist he had breathed in before, or the way she looked in that moment, but he didn't care as his face moved in closer to hers. His crimson eyes never left her own until his lips met hers in a gentle kiss, and at the touch of the sensation he pulled her tightly against him, and he felt the warmth grow between them which threatened to overwhelm his furiously beating heart. How perfect this moment felt, and he just wanted his partner to feel the love she so solely deserved.
(OOC: We can end it there, my dear Tifa, if you can't find the muse to post! Whatever you want, hoped you liked it! *chuckles*)
