{If you are here then that means that you are apart of my plot thread. If you don't see your name on this list, then you are in Tifa's thread. Here is the list: Vincent |Tifa Marluxia | Ritz Zack | Selena Terra | Aqua Shogun | Emil Please remember the same rules from the sign-up thread and just enjoy this little spoof.} From Halloween Town, a cluster of trees each representing a different holiday grows in a special forest just outside of town, and allows dimensional travel to a different part of the world where the holidays exists for real as theme in the town and surrounding area, all year round. The holiday that is closest to Halloween Town Square itself is Valentine's Day. In the world, many have prepared for this night, the night of February 14th. The night of celebrating love, and friendship. As one travels through the tree of St. Valentine's Day, an event is being held in the town center. The individual will see a large garden, blocked off by high hedges filled with pink roses as they walk through town. Where a special event is being held, there are hedges that border around what appears to be the dance floor, with elaborately decorated tables and benches surrounding the area for couples to sit. The area is covered with favorite flowers of all varities neatly plumed together, images of hearts and the baby Cupid. Reguardng the demi-god symbolizing this day, a enchantment has been cast within the town square itself.
Visible from the moment you walk in, a mystical aura is surrounding the area. This aura is a rose red color, and a bit smoke-like, but it has a most intriguing and attractive smell that is individual and unique to each person that smells each of their favorite scents in it. This mist is actually a spell, and the minute you walk into it and breathe it in, a spell is cast on you that triggers your endorphins in your brain. The aura causes one to fall in temporary love with the first person that they make eye contact with, a content and comforting feeling like eating chocolate. The enchantment also effects the part of the brain with memory, only lasting until midnight when it becomes February 15th, losing the memory of the night and the temporary love along with it. So for now, enjoy your crack romance, and make the most of the night before it just becomes another lost and confused memory. (Note: Anything that happens in this thread is not to be taken outside to the actual roleplay boards, what happens here stays here, but the romantical limit at the most is only kissing, hugging, caressing etc. Please keep within the theme and the rules, and have fun!)

Within this town, there was a dance floor, with chairs around it mainly for the sole purpose of promoting a holiday. Yes, most of the crowd had shown up for the dance, and those who were spending more than an evening here were checking into the fabulous hotel, which was just up the street from the event. However most people were congregating around the dance floor. It was night time, well sort of. Everyone was arriving for some fancy bash and whatever it was, it was a bit on the 'too formal' side for Shogun. No, he wasn't about fancy Bond-psuedo tuxedos. He was about getting some form of work in some for or way, because that's what mercenaries do ya know, they line up work so they can get paid. I think most of us are aware of this. What we aren't aware is what had transpired 20 minutes before the start of the party, so let me fill you in.
Twenty Minutes ago...
Outside, more preferably on the roof, Shogun was having a discussion about the hotel's owner about a possible job opportunity. "Yes, the many parties at this facility is what attracts so much business, but lately there have been many...well, mishaps." spoke the owner to the mercenary who was leaning against a vent as he listened to the man explain himself. "Ok, so what your saying is, you refuse to hire security because that would only provoke the bad guys to do MORE harm to your estate?" he asked, trying to clarify whether or not this man before him was either incredibly stupid, or just had no common sense about him whatsoever, which in a sense would make him downright retarded, but that's not really why we're here now is it? "Well...that's not exactly how I worded it. What I meant was, I have a wonderful repuation to uphold and hiring security would, in my eyes and in the eyes of my colleagues, seem as though I was stooping to the lows of a crime lord by hiring thugs to watch my doors."
Yes, this guy was downright retarded. It didn't matter to Shogun that he had decided not to hire him, but what really got the merc was that he had refused service from anyone all together and would continue to ignore the murders and kidnappings going on around his place. "Ya know, maybe you haven't really had a taste of it..." spoke Shogun, pondering outloud to himself. The owner looked curious at the man before him, in a quizical fashion at that. "W-what do you mean?" asked the man to the masked man. Shogun paused for a moment with his visible eye closed, then opened it to look at the man. "Pain. You haven't had a taste of pain, like what your guests have been experiencing. Maybe after a dose of pain, you'll reconsider my offer." spoke Shogun, hoisting the owner of the hotel over his shoulders ever so suddenly. Maybe it was a hotel or maybe it wasn't, if I've been calling it something else up until now I apologize. He then walked over to the edge of the roof with the yelling man on his back, then set him up against the trimming.
"There ya go, no need to yell now. Have a look, is it a nice evening out there?" asked the man in the mask and then pointed past the suited guy before him, down towards where the other guests would be arriving shortly. He, the owner who'll we'll presume is Bill because I tire of having to say 'The Owner' a thousand times, looked over the edge of his hotel warily in hopes of not losing his balance and falling to doom. It was a good thirty something floors high, chances are he was going to break something from this height. "L-l-look's spectacular to me. I-I shouldn't be up here you know. I don't like pain." spoke Bill to Shogun, a bit of a nervous stutter in his voice. "Aww, that's not the spirit Bill!" chimed in Shogun in a mockery of friendship. "These people'll love you for keeping them safe. So, how're you gonna do that? Make em' believe you're untouchable, and they'll appreciate you for the badass you really are. They won't mess with you then!" he proclaimed, and at the moment Bill seemed to light up with a smile. So he decided at that moment he would make a speech to the arriving guests, and assure them that they would all come to no harm.
"DEAR GUESTS OF VALENTINE'S TOWN..." he began, but was cut short by the guy in the bandoliers behind him. "Oh that's not what I meant! You've got a reputation to uphold. So... LEAP!" he yelled, thus pushing Bill off of the roof and into the air. He yelled as he sailed downward, then after several moments of prolonged screaming for life, he collided in a heavy thud with a bush next to the front door. From thirty something floors up, Shogun looked down with a bit of a disgusted look upon his face. "Now, why was I expecting something a little different?" he asked himself outloud. He shrugged as he stood uprght, then turned arund and walked to the elevator. As he stepped in it gave a bit of a mild yet calm ding, then he began to be pulled downwards as he descended to the party. From the bush came a barely audible croak and a groan of pain, but even anyone walking by it wouldn't hear it for music was blasting loudly from the building's interior. Within the lobby, there was a ding that was not heard, and from it's contents came Shogun as he was dusting off his pants, then nodded to a few unmentionables who walked past him. From here the mercenary walked outside, to where this dance floor and other things mentioned were located. Something was weird about this place, because all he could do was think about chocolate. Why was he thinking about chocolate?

"Humph, how dark and gloomy this place is... Well it is a cemetery after all.", Marluxia said as he took a look around at the cemetery he walked into. The graves were filled with spider webs and old flowers that seemed to be a century old due to their decay. Marluxia walked gracefully and at an even pace as he past by the graves and some rather large tombstones. he was sent there to check up on something, it seemed that that world was exhibiting a rather strange behavior. Something was up in one of the parts of that world. According to the records, that world was divided into towns, each symbolizing a "holiday" as the Somebodies called it. The one that Marluxia was, was called Halloween Town. It was a creepy town filled with strange creatures, one of those was a big, old tree with skeletons hanging from it. Marluxia saw it as it walked it's way to the town square where, probably, the other strange creatures were gathering.
Marluxia walked to the cemetery gates, as he placed his hand and pushed it, it shrieked as it moved around due either it's age or because it needed oil. Regardless, it alerted a trio of what appeared to be three children that were passing. Before they could see Marluxia, he teleported behind the nearest tombstone and placed his hood on. The three approached the gate, Marluxia peeked out of his hiding place to see who they were. One was wearing a devil's suit, another was wearing a witch's garments and the last one was wearing what it seemed to be a skeleton suit.
The three seemed to be arguing about something, Marluxia could only caught a few words from their little quarrel, he overheard them when they stopped arguing and when they started snickering over something they saw at "The Forest". Marluxia rose an eyebrow, "something strange"? Maybe the trio were talking about the disturbance Marluxia was sent to investigate?... The three jumped into, what seemed to be a hot tub which trotted away with the three singing some song. Marluxia came out of his hiding place. He took his hood of, some petals floated away as he did so. " Something strange in the woods humm?", Marluxia said as he looked at his side, seeing a big forest with creepy dead trees, trying to balance themselves as a small gust of cold wind past through them.
Marluxia made his way through said forest, following the path that led to the middle of it. Marluxia was always looking at his surroundings, if something or someone appeared, it would be best if he wasn't seen. He rose an eyebrow as he began to see what seemed to be a Christmas tree door, carved in the tree at the middle. Marluxia took another look around as he reached the middle of the forest, where the doors to the various towns were located. There were a few doors with different carvings on them, though his mission required that he investigated a town called "St Valentine's Town". Marluxia walked to wards the tree with the big pink heart carved on it and opened up the door, feeling a chill running down his spine as he did so. He then stepped in and let himself fall. Oblivious to what he was going to face.
Last thing he knew, Marluxia was walking through a path which had a field of roses at it's side. He glanced around suspiciously as he walked, though, something didn't add up here, there was a strange mist surrounding him, he stopped walking and muttered to himself, "What is that wonderful smell? Is that, fresh watered Roses?...", but after a few moments, the mist faded away and Marluxia continued to walk.
He reached the town's square where an event was starting to take place, tables were set up as well as the benches, there were pictures of hearts and other love themed pictures around and in the middle of it was a dance floor. Marluxia blinked slightly and sighed in what people would probably considered as aggravation, "I was sent here to watch a feeble display of love between the Somebodies? What did I do to deserve such punishment?...", he said as he stood there and looked at all the pink... Even he was starting to feel a bit creeped out.

[OOC: Emil's Dress. ]
"E-eek!" Emil yelped, falling into a pile of roses before blinking, blowing a few petals away that seem to have landed on her nose before moving out and finally standing straight. Stretching and dusting off her newly discovered....dress? Now hold on, Emil never had a dress before. Well, not in the pass years anyways... So why was she in a one now? "O-oh... how embarrassing..." Emil felt her face go red as she placed both of her hands to her cheek, blushing from embarrassment as she haven't been a dress in so long, not only that... this dress was rather cute. With a sigh, Emil touched the top of her head, in hopes to scratch it from all this sudden turn of events... only to find a rather cute hat upon her head.
She removed her hat, examined it before letting out a small giggle. She might as well enjoy a single day as girl, finally... After all, since she started her journey, she's been lying to others that she... was a guy.
With a shrug, she placed the hat back upon her head before looking around. Noticing chattering and the likes, but avoiding eye contact and spotted a few tables filled with food and chairs. The decoration was rather... theme-like, seeing how it had hearts and cupid all over the place. Though, she wondered... they over did the decorations... no? She laughed lightly to herself, finding this rather funny in her mind before taking a step forward... she stumbled slightly.
Remembering she was no longer wearing the shoes she normally wore, but was actually wearing shoes with heels. This might take some time for her to get use to. I wonder if I remember how to walk in these... She thought, looking to her feet as she took small steps forward, making sure not to trip herself while trying to relearn and get use to these bloody shoes.
"One...two... one...two...W-whoa!!" She stumbled, almost falling to her knees, but was able to catch herself and stand correctly once more... Balancing herself before standing straight and letting out a sigh of relieve. These shoes are going to be hard to get use to... that's for sure. She let out another sigh, feeling rather down about having to walk in heels for the whole day, but something... caught her interest. This strange scent that lingered within the air along with this light red smoke-like mist just seem to surround her. Her eyes closed and smiled at the scent, it smelled like the Castle's Garden back home with the fresh roses were just blooming.
Home... Her eyes reopened as she stared off to the sky above her, feeling rather lonely and missing her brother as memories of the two seem to run about in her mind, but she quickly cut it off and went on walking once more. Unaware that she had been placed under a spell as her eyes began to wonder and seem to see a rather... strange fellow not to far away. She never seen anyone like a person like that, well... probably because he seemed 'out of this world'. At first, her first thought was a 'weird-o', but something within her chest started to beat faster... It was her heart! Why was it racing? And her face... Was it getting red? Oh, Emil felt like crying now... feeling the tears build up with her eyes as she knew what this feeling was and wish she didn't feel it at that very moment... It was... love at first sight.
It was too soon! Too fast! What was happening to her?!
Quickly, her eyes wandered down to her feet... just standing there in hopes that 'lad' wouldn't glance her way. She never felt this way before and she was in no way knowing how to act with that feeling. It was all new to her!
[OOC: Hm... mew~ Emil's rather shy. >3<; ]

Two orbs of regality, stroked with emerald and dashed with sparks of amber peered out onto the cerulean lights which danced decoratively around the ballroom doors. Thick lads of maroon cascaded softly in a slight wave onto her shoulders, embracing them with a soft sweetness. Ritz was different looking today; more so than she had ever been before. Although not a drop dead gorgeous girl, Ritz was arguably only 15 and had yet to blossom. She was going through that stage in her life where everything was coming together and starting to make sense; she would be beautiful, in time. Her shoulders held tight to two flowery straps; the straps trailed down her body and met with a fluffy lining at her knees. Her dress was blue with red flowers dancing across the sides, lined with white and gold trimming.
The place was uniquely dark and sadistic, not an ideal place for a ball. It was strange, covered with spider webs and a spirit of mischievousness. Although she appeared like a little girl going to a school dance, Ritz was not in the loving or romantic attitude, but then again, was she ever? Thinking silently to herself, she began pondering why exactly she was here, and why exactly a dance for Valentine¡¦s Day was at Halloween Town. Either way, she was here, and dressed up, so she might as well meet new people, punch somebody in the face, and have a good time. Aberrant as it all was, she liked it¡Ksecretly.
Ritz stood outside of the doors for a few moments, not sure if she dared to enter the doors to the other dimension. It was a door to the dimensions of Valentines Town; now, she of course was not aware that it would be another dimension. She simply believed it to be a room where that dance was held in Halloween town. Ritz had no prior knowledge of this world or its mechanics. Why would she? She is only a grade school student who was casts into this system of worlds. Finally, after a few moments of self debating, she entered.
Her eyes widened, and she felt a blast of heat flush her face. The place was completely different. It was a different world, no doubt. One she had not truly expected. The Smokey fragrance of flowers mixed with that artificial bubble gum smell that you get at the dentist office when they clean your teeth, filled her nose and embraced her sweet lips. Smiling slightly, each lip pulling from side to side, Ritz could not help but feel a strange, warm sensation in the bottom of her tummy. Although warm and passionate, it was honestly a little strange and uneasy, like butterflies, but not as unbecoming.
"W-Wow"
[ooc: Remember, I¡¦m a guy, so playing a girl and explaining their feelings is hella¡¦ hard for me. Gimme some leniency. ƒ¼]

Tifa's dress~! {For anyone who's played FF7, its actually her dress from Wallmarket with the whole Don Corneo and Cloud's crossdress situation xD}
Tifa Lockhart was confused. How...what...when...why? All of these thoughts were running through the mind of the young monk. She knew very well that it was Valentine's Day. Just this morning Marlene came up to her and told her that some boy gave her a card for Valentine's Day. Tifa had just smiled and laughed, admiring the young 'love' that Marlene was getting herself into. Sure she knew that it wasn't love between Marlene and this boy. Just a little innocent sort of idea. Of course, Tifa wouldn't tell Barret about this, knowing he would probably overreact. Being the protective father he was. Tifa had gotten mixed up in the same thing when she was younger also. She admired the puppt dog love of young children. It made her remember some of her memories of a child. Back in Nibelheim. But today on Valentine's Day, she assumed that she was just going to be alone. And that her only Valentine would be Denzel, who made a card and gave it to her this morning.
She didn't mind though. It was nice to see people in love on a day like this. Made her happy. She had been thinking a lot about one person today. And this was Cloud Strife, surprise surprise. Cloud was off doing his own thing once again and Tifa had been considering doing a lot of things. She considered leaving him a message on his phone, wishing him a Happy Valentine's Day. She also considered leaving him a message about coming home for the night. There were so many things that she wanted to say to Cloud and ask him. But...the biggest one she didn't have the courage to even tell Cloud. At this rate, it would probably just be a feeling locked away in her heart. She was probably cursed with this horrible shyness. She hated it honestly. All she wanted was a little more self-confidence. She didn't even have enough courage to leave Cloud a message about the other two things. It seemed like he was the only one who made her act like this. She knew why, but she couldn't tell him why.
And now...she was here! In this bizarre world that was full of all sorts of things dedicated to St. Valentine's Day. Tifa grew curious as to what was going on here. Why was she brought to this place anyway? She really wasn't sure. Tifa looked down at herself for a moment jumping a bit at what she saw. This...this wasn't what she was wearing a moment ago! She expected to see her usual black outfit, but this was certainly not it. She saw herself clad in the short blue-purple dress that she had worn many years ago. That time that she had been kidnapped by Don Corneo. She wasn't sure how it was possible that she was wearing this dress. She didn't keep it in her closet or anything. This must be some really weird spell.
She took her eyes off her body for a moment looking ahead. She saw some sort of entrance to something. What was it though? Tifa grew curious and walked toward it, entering to what seemed like a dance floor. Many couples were dancing all around her. How nice. She couldn't help but feel a slight tinge of jealousy though. This thought vanished quickly when she felt a large red smoke come by her. This smoke was different. It didn't cause her to cough or anything like that. It actually smelt quite...sweet! She inhaled it for a moment taking in the sweetness of it. But as quickly as it came. It was gone! How strange. She stared for a moment before continuing to walk around. She noticed how overboard this place was with Valentine's decorations. Sort of nice, she supposed. Tifa also noticed how couples seemed to have there eyes locked on eachother. They must have a strong love. She supposed that this place gave off a loving feeling. The surroundings practically spoke for themselves. [/size]

((Aqua's dress~! Just a quick doodle and color~ Sorry for the lameness! xD))
How strange.. How very very strange. Bright blue oceanic eyes quickly flicked back and forth, taking in the beautiful yet not expected scenery. This was not where she had been only moments before, so, how had she gotten here? Despite the confusion of how she had exactly arrived in this particular place, the layout was absolutely breathtaking. Gorgeous greenery covered the entire area and dotted with flowers. Well, there was only one way to go and that was forward towards a much more open area where the voices of others fluttered out. Surely someone there could tell her something. But wait, what was this? Not only had she been magically whisked away, but her clothes had changed! A short spur of panic over came Aqua as she quickly patted herself as if making sure everything was still intact. When had THIS happened?! And where were her other clothes at! Sure, the dress was cute but, she wanted her old outfit back! This was just far too strange!
With a heavy sigh Aqua shook the questions out of her head. Sitting here and pondering over it wouldn't result in any answers, so the only thing left to do was to move forward. Each clacking step of her heels brought her closer and closer to her destination, but something did strike her as odd. From the looks of it, there was a misty red aura seeping out of the open room. A brow raised as she cautiously stepped into it, not sure whether it was a good thing or not.
A dance floor? That's what was at the end of the tiny hedge hallway? Not exactly what she had expected. The decorations were absolutely stunning and brought a sense of ease to the mage. She took a deep breath in relief only for the intoxicating sweet salty smell of the ocean filled her nostrils. Oh, that scent was so refreshing, so calming. Every shred of mistrust that had come with entering this mysterious ballroom suddenly vanished. This was actually quite nice. What had she been so worried about?
A sweet smile crossed over her lips as she watched a few couples drift by, dancing with the soft music that played in the background. How in love they all looked! It brought such a warm fuzzy feeling to her heart. Quietly, she snuck her way around couples , dodging them as they either zipped by in dance or in a mad rush back to their lover. as she found an empty bench and promptly took a seat. While it was lovely to see everyone dancing about having a fantastic time, Aqua couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit lonely. Not even knowing how she had gotten even got here, she had come alone. Which meant her only date right now was with the bench.

How could something like this happen?
He would have been one of the last people to be seen anywhere near a place like this, and yet here Vincent Valentine was, soon after appearing in this world revealed to have had a costume change from the world's magic into his old navy Turk suit. The same magic had been present at the last dance he had attended, and while the attire he did not keep because of his distaste of his old life, it would suit him for now. As it seemed he had been drawn to the social event that was happening in this world just now, and while his expression was blank as he took in all the scenery, secretively it appealed to him. Deep down as his last name had always ironically suggested, he had always been a romantic at heart, and it all started back in the days when he was a simple young Turk in this very outfit with Lucrecia. Those days were all but a memory now, but he always valued the romantic aspect of things deep down to his core, from the way he felt happy from helping women feel the same.
There were no Valentine's for Valentine that day, not even from Yuffie with a friendly call, although that could have been because she was either busy with the HBRC, WRO, or just stealing materia on her own. Vincent had offered a revived Lucrecia to come and find him if she really loved him, but she had gone, lost in the shadows of the worlds and her heart. It was just him, alone, and he wondered what he was even doing here if no-one shared the same feeling. He observed the scenery between all these odd people he had never seen before, of the pink and red hearts and the dancefloor, surrounded by chairs, tables, and then... a whiff of something caught his nose. It was a most intriguing smell, one to him that smelt like fresh silk, rain hitting soft earth, and the feminine smell of lillies.
What was that intoxicating aroma?
If all that had happened to him had been confusing enough, the next sight he saw lured him in even more, warm crimson eyes leading him on where his body usually dared not follow. It was good to see a familiar face among a strange cloud, but the way that she looked on this particular day, there was a different air about her. She had a different dress on that made it hard to recognize if one was looking for her by her usual black and white attire, but the blue dress he had never seen her wear before fit her curvateous and fit body, and complimented on her shape and figure in just the right light that opened her up to the room as if a blue flower blooming. Her long silky black hair like his own and her toned skin had a allure on this particular hour, but the one thing he couldn't look away from was her deep, chocolatey eyes that seemed such a warm presence that pulled him in towards her when she met his own. "....Tifa." he simply whispered her name aloud in that quiet tone of his, stepping forward to come to a stop in front of her, even though his mind was screaming at him that something wasn't right about this situation.
Tifa had always been there for him as a friend in combat, but the way she looked tonight, Vincent felt that there was something more... and he couldn't bring himself to tear away from her.
What was this feeling? Vincent had always been a intellectual and a loner by nature because of it, amongst other things, and yet he couldn't help but look back at the beautiful gorgeous eyes that Tifa had. Why had he felt this way now, of all times, in all places? Valentine's Day was always about romance, but h had never considered Tifa that way before. Not that he didn't appreciate the beauty and figure of the female form, nor how if felt when one was affectionate and considerate towards him, nor that Tifa herself wasn't an attractive young woman either. In fact, she would probably have been the most ideal woman he had ever seen from his home planet, but he never let strange feelings like this come between their friendship or work, and because of her obvious attachment to others.
And yet... he couldn't help but not look away. Had that mysterious scent he smelled when first coming in here have made him feel this way?

This place was turning a bit pink, and the air seemed a bit rosy. Several people had begun to show up on the dance floor, and yet they were all so formally dressed, and yet he had no tuxedo. 'Good lord, I passed up a chance to be Bond!' he thought silently to himself, looking around in a slightly disappointed manner. It was so unfortunate that he couldn't pretend to be a super spy for a night, but then again this place didn't seem so bad. Kinda cliche, but out of all the worlds he could find himself in, he figured there could be worse. Yes, he could be in worse, like the belly of some giant nasty beast, or a dungeon fashioned after a giant toilet.
He wandered over to the punch table, soaking up the sights, the delights...in smell as someone's perfume reeked in the air. He was about to take a sip of the punch in his hand, and the smell nearly made him gag. "Wuh...Oh god!" he cried, stumbling away from the table and out of a thick cloud of pink mist. As he walked blindly over to and away from the table, he say his drink down on a nearby table and began to rub his eyes. He blinked a few times then looked over to his left where a girl in a maroon looking dress, just standing there minding his own business. Well wasn't she just adorable?
He walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder, hoping he would catch her attention. "Pardoneth me, fair lady, but dost thou have any Grey Poupon?" he asked politely. To be honest, this place was making him feel weird. Something he hadn't felt in some six years. It was strange, and yet quite a relief. Maybe that's what was up with all the hearts and crap around here, and now that he thought about it, everything did look...redder. Was it his conscience playing tricks on him? Now, it would never do THAT to him, they were the best of pals! The closest of comrades! The dynamic duo, just Shogun and his little voice in his head! Anyways, now he was just standing there waiting for a reply.

As Tifa began to wander around, a lot was running through her mind. She stopped questioning how she got here though. Some things, you just had to accept and move on. Which is what she was going to do tonight. She figure'd that she could stay for a little bit. She was probably brought here for some sort of reason. And whatever reason it was, she'd just have to except it and move on. It might not be so bad to celebrate the holiday like this. Could be something new. But as she walked around and saw all of the couples dancing with someone, she couldn't help but feel a bit lonely. Everyone seemed to have someone here to love, and yet Tifa was standing along. And being alone at a Valentine's Event was a bit awkward.
Tifa wished that Cloud could be here tonight. Maybe if he was here she could confess some of her feelings a bit more. Things that she had kept bottled up inside for so long. And what better night to share her feelings. It was Valentine's Day after all. But the reality was that Cloud wasn't here. And he probably wasn't going to be coming at all. Looks like that night would be pushed back further. As she looked around, a pair of eyes seemed to catch onto hers. Tifa looked into said eyes, recognizing them. She would know a pair of eyes like that anywhere. Such deep crimson eyes. Even though Tifa had known Vincent for some time now, it felt like she was seeing them in a whole new light today. She never really noticed how...how hauntingly beautiful his eyes were. And she couldn't help but stare. Tifa was probably staring too much, with a dreamy look of admiration on her face. She never thought of Vincent in this way before. So why was she suddenly having thoughts like this tonight?
To think, that a mere minute ago she had been wishing for Cloud to be here. But her mind seemed to have completely forgotten about the ex-SOLDIER. Her eyes and thoughts were just so focused on Vincent. It was weird. She felt something different in her heart when she looked at Vincent tonight. Usually, she viewed Vincent as a very close friend. A friend that was practically family to her. All of the AVALANCHE members felt like family to her. They had all been through so much, and so many tragedies. She cared for each and every one of her friends with the utmost amount of love and affection. But on this night in paticular, something about Vincent was really drawing her attention. It almost felt like...all of the feelings that she harbored for Cloud were switching over to Vincent. She wondered what this was. Could this be her mind playing tricks on her? No. It felt so different. It felt like...like Love.
"Vincent..." Tifa whispered quietly as she watched him start to appreach her. It was almost like she was under some sort of spell. But she wasn't sure why. Tifa didn't remember the smoke that she had smelt when she first came in. For now she had her mind and thoughts too wrapped around Vincent. He was all that seemed to be on her mind. She forgot all about the other people that were in the room. She forgot about pretty much every other person in all of the worlds for the moment. For her mind was full of thoughts. Thoughts of love. Tifa watched as Vincent started to come toward her, her eyes never once leaving his. She stared in such admiration. Tifa noticed that he was looking into her eyes also. Silence seemed to pass through the two of them for the moment. The eyes were taking over for all of the talking. Tifa drew her eyes away from his for a moment when she took the moment to look the rest of him over. She noticed that he was clad in a suit. She smiled looking back up to him. He just looked so handsome. She figured that she should say something nice. But her shyness was coming in.
"You look so...nice tonight." Tifa said a bit shyly.

A Corridor of Darkness portal had opened up in the sky of Halloween Town. A gold figure emerged from the portal and it was Terra in his armor, riding on his Keyblade. It was awhile since he had used that type of transportation. He usually relies on his Darkness to bring him where he wants to. Unlike the others, Terra can walk through the Corridors of Darkness without needing to wear his armor. The Keyblade Rider slowly descended toward the ground in the forest. A cloud of dirt was pushed up because of the wind of the landing.
Within a flash of light the Keyblade and his armor disappeared, revealing Terra in his usual attire. His brown hair flowed as he stepped toward the Valentines Day door and stepped inside. Once inside he was taken to a beautiful location filled with flowers and the likes. He couldn't get his mind off of what happened and Xehanort. Knowing that Xehanort was out there really upset Terra. Terra sniffed the air and something came by him, it was the feeling like if everything was ok. "It smells good." He said to himself as he walked along the path.
It was a festival! The dance floor, the lights, the people, everything was extravagant! Terra hadn't felt this way for a long time. The last time he felt that way was before the Master Qualification Exam. The Chaser was blinded by feelings as he walked and.. BAM! He walked right into a bench and fell down. "Owch.." He scratched the back of his head as he looked up and noticed that someone was on the bench. His vision cleared and his eyes sparkled slightly. "Aqua.. is that you?" Terra said as he noticed his friend sitting on the bench. He hadn't seen her in awhile and didn't expect her to be here. "Are you alright?" Terra asked immediately.

At least, not this time, he wouldn't be alone on Valentine's Day.
That's the way Vincent was feeling now, and he couldn't understand why, although he had an inkling that it had to do with the strange pinkish-red mist he had whiffed in when he stepped into the area. That what he smelled was some kind of spell, because the only time he could feel like looking away was when he felt he had stared into Tifa's deep brown eyes too long, and even then he couldn't look away for long from her. His body and the actions they took were no longer his to control, as he felt himself bow slightly forward towards her like a gentleman would, which something which he rarely ever did. "You look even nicer, if that's even possible." he replied, and mentally was surprised at what he had just spoken, for it seemed his speech was not to be trusted either. Her voice had sounded shy, and yet it was him who turned his head slightly to look awkwardly again, if not for long one more as his red eyes followed after hers. There felt like there was nothing but black in the room but her, as the other dancers faded away from his senses, all of them drawing attention to Tifa.
There was something in the back of his mind, a smaller sensation that didn't register... he remembered a certain spiky-headed blonde solider, and yet while he couldn't recall a name, he recognised that the lesser emotion that registered was guilt. The friend of Tifa's was a friend of his as well, although not in the same kind of relationship that Tifa shared with him, but somehow Vincent didn't seem to care. His rational mind seemed powerless against what his body was doing, which felt drawn to every element of Tifa in every way, as if she had a gravity that pulled him in. There was a certain way she smelled to him, a similar scent he had picked up walking in, and his heightened senses seemed to absorb it all the more. He suddenly realized he had moved in closer to Tifa without even realizing it while staring at her with those intense crimson eyes of his, and backed away slightly, those crimson red eyes looking down to the floor as he lowered his head.
He pretended he was busy admiring her shoes, while he tried to comprehend a solution to how to stop feeling the overwhelming feeling he had to be with her, but all he could think about was about Tifa. It felt the same way it did when... when he was with that woman in the lab coat, but for the life of him he couldn't remember what her name was either, because the image kept on being replaced by Tifa. But women aside, he had felt this way before... a flutter in his chest where his heart should be, surrounded by what felt like a beating drum, but as erractic as the feeling felt it felt like a wonderful feeling in his heart like the butterfly would break out of the drumskin and soar at any moment. It was hard to also feel the emotion that had followed after the memory, a dark numbness as the woman had left him, but that didn't seem to matter anymore now that Tifa was here. He pushed the thought aside and came out of the memory, feeling that his eyes were too torn away from Tifa's from far too long.
He had noticed they had reunited near a dance floor, and although he didn't seem to notice anyone but Tifa, he was surprised at his forwardness when he suddenly felt the urge to reach forward with his hand to offer to Tifa. He felt like the hand wanted to reach out and touch her, but he was too embarassed to go any further, just wanting to start with holding her hand first to ease himself into the beauty and softness that was her, as if he would break her like a porcelin doll if he was too strong with her fragile grace. "May I... have this dance?" he asked rather charmingly, having not completely lost his composure now that his nerves had pushed him ahead this far, feeling like he was being lead by his body with strings pulled by an unknown force greater than his. Which made him realize... the emotion he was carrying in his heart wasn't desire or admiration in it's purest form, but that of... love? Bewildered by this sudden turn of events, he snapped mentally out of his thoughts and looked to Tifa, feeling like he would die if she did not accept his invitation.
He had once before...

((OOC: Selena's dress. Collabed with a friend. )) Selena had been exploring the woods outside of Halloween Town when she had spotted an odd tree with an open door with the opening in the shape of a heart. Curious, the dark angel walked to the tree and with her hands on the edges, she instinctively looked down the seemingly endless hole. It was dark but it appeared to be a small light at the bottom. There was also a breeze coming from the other side and something told her heart to 'fall'. "Strange...." muttered the winged keybearer as she jumps into the hole without hesitation. When Selena had reached the light, she stretched her wings to avoid a harsh crash and gracefully landed on the pile of roses. Quietly, she folded her wings against her back and bent down to to brush off any of the petals off the dark blue dress but suddenly froze as realization hit her. Why am I wearing a dress? wondered the winged woman as she studied the long dress before taking a hesitant step forward then walk out of the pile of roses. Her mind reluctantly concluded that it may be because of the defense magic of this world as Selena studied her surroundings. There were people here but no one that she had met before. The angel felt awkward as she watched a few couples dance away (or about to) the night and noted that the surroundings were meant for those in love. Feeling like she had intruded, Selena's heart instantly knew that she did not belong here and was about to turn around to leave except that a very familiar scent was the force that had stopped her from walking out the door. "....Lilies?" whispered Selena as she recognized the scent from the very first world she had fallen into and remembered that those same lilies were white in that world.

Foot steps could be herd deep in the forest of Halloween town. That's when this man had reached many trees. These trees had odd looking doors to them really. Then he noticed an interesting looking door. This man had on the Soldier outfit from Shinra's elite team. Which is known as Soldier. His name Zack Fair. As his hand wrapped around the handle, he twisted it to the left, and it opened up instantly.
Zack took his first step in and that's when he was being attacked by rose petals. They were coming from everywhere. Once more, he started to walk forward not only to see a bright light and the back Selena. So this girl was an angel? Those wings instantly reminded him of a few people which he could never forget. Well, since he was not just going to leave, he might as well ask this person what was happening here.
After all it is not everyday you see a gathering of people who are about to dance through the night. Once close enough Zack lightly tapped her on her right shoulder. "So what's going on here?" Well there was not much to do until she turned around or just answered him. Everything today was most certainly turning out to be something very big really. Like was he ment to be here?

When Selena had felt the tap on her right shoulder, she was watching the couples dance and her mind was attempting to figure out the source of the lily scent that had temporarily distracted her. The scent itself had disappeared a few minutes ago but the memory of it still lingered. The angelic woman gave up on the scent and turned around to face the military uniformed man.
It was his blue eyes that had captured her attention first and the young woman was mesmerized by them. Remembering the question he had asked earlier, she caught herself staring and awkwardly coughed a bit to snap herself out of it. “A-a celebration of some sort but I don’t know what the occasion is though.” answered Selena with a pale pink tint starting to appear on her cheeks and the warm feeling that she was starting to actually feel worried her a bit. What is going on? the winged woman wondered.
If she had not been trying to lock away her emotions, Selena may have had known that it was love. The young woman also had not been paying attention to calendars (She had not seen one in a decade but would occasionally ask for the date, month and year.) or had paid any attention to celebrations in other worlds. If she had, the angel would have also known that today was Valentine’s Day.
