The Superior did not approve.
Smoke, festivities, romance. None of these things were something that the leader of nothings held an interest in, he did not even posses the heart to involve himself with another emotionally. The display of affection appeared to be nothing less than pathetic to Xemnas, feeble beings entertaining weak emotions. Love was a weakness, though the light believed it to be strength.
Hate was stronger.
The events that led to the Superior's presence in this forsaken realm were unfortunate at best, for one of the Organization's own was here as well. The Flurry of Dancing Flames had not been tasked to come here, in fact Xemnas had much more important things for Axel to attend to rather than this pitiful display of human emotion. No other nothings were at Xemnas' disposal to handle such a situation, and even if they were it was doubtful that they would not attempt to pretend they possessed the same hormonally induced emotions that these whole beings were currently displaying.
Out of the corner of his eye the Superior spotted a particularly thick cloud of smoke, though it was in the process of dispersing. A figure could be seen outlined in the smoke, one that Xemnas knew to be The Flurry of Dancing Flames. Something was off about the sight, though the Superior could not place it at first. Axel's form, had it changed? As the cloud continued to fade, colors other than pink were beginning to come through. Xemnas could see the black of the cloak that all Organization members wore, though it seemed to fit Axel's form tighter than usual.
Cue the shocking revelation.
The Flurry of Dancing Flames could no longer be counted among the male populace, something had happened.
That revelation was short lived, for it was completely run over in the face of something else entirely different, something that Xemnas...
Felt.
The Superior's eyes had found The Flurry of Dancing Flames, and the product of such contact was nothing short of love.

She really was rather headstrong.
Kairi was reminding Seifer a lot of Rinoa, and a bit of 'Q,' the mysterious woman from the masquerade celebration, but at the same time...he found it really, really difficult to connect her with either of those women because he had a hard time thinking about them for longer than a few seconds before his mind refocused itself on Kairi once more. It was almost as if...no one else really mattered for the moment, and only Kairi existed to him, which was a totally new sensation. Whether or not Seifer actually liked that did not seem to matter.
"I think you'll find I hold quite a bit of promise," Seifer then replied smugly to the girl as he supported her for her little twirl before pulling her close to him again, his grip on both her waist and her hand tight. Her statement about surprising her just sounded like yet another challenge to the young man, and he smirked at the thought - maybe a surprise could indeed be an interesting twist. But what to do? Well, he knew exactly what his heart - wait, he had a heart that actually controlled him in some way? That was a bit of a surprise, and a feeling he had not had in a long time - was telling him to do, but at the same time...listening to it felt like losing control a bit, and the gunblader never liked that feeling.
It was quite an interesting dilemma, really.
In that moment of thought, Seifer suddenly realized that Kairi was not wearing her usual attire any more, but out of nowhere she was suddenly wearing a flashy red dress that only extenuated her more attractive features further. The blonde had to swallow for a moment to keep the lump down in his throat that had appeared suddenly, and he actually felt his heart beat a bit quicker - all such new feelings, but it did feel rather good, he had to admit. His eyes unashamedly looked her over for a few moments before locking back onto her oceanic orbs once more, a devious look flashing in the depths of his own eyes.
Meanwhile, he became aware that his own attire had also taken a bit of a change - this place really was strange, but he found himself caring a lot less than normal about these sorts of things....his mind was too full of other, more captivating thoughts. However, he suddenly found his white coat switched for a white suit, complete with tails, and a black top hat not too different from what he had at the ball had replaced his usual black beanie, releasing his unkempt blonde hair to fall around his face a bit more. Well, at least he suited the atmosphere a bit more, and his arrogant side told him that he probably looked quite dashing. No one would have been able to convince him otherwise.
"You know, you're a bit better at dancing than you are at struggling," Seifer then commented to the girl he saw as nothing less than his date for the evening - if not something more that he was unwilling to admit - actually showing a flash of a grin for once. It was not a facial expression the blonde often made, but he found it coming a bit easier than normal when talking to the red-haired girl in his arms. His words had not exactly been meant as a compliment so much as a tease, though...compliments were still a bit of a stretch for him, but it was pretty close, and he was satisfied enough with his own efforts.

Helen was about to go insane. Helen was about to go insane because she'd just been dropped off by some metaphysical being into a new world.
And this new world was pink. Not just a soft, rosy shade of pink like the sunsets in her hometown... No. More like electrified watermelon pink... salmon pink... Marzipan pink... The turk was feeling a little sick. Quite sick, actually. Not only was pink SO not her color, it was also her least favorite color, and she was quite surrounded in it.
It had only taken her a few minutes to genuinely consider pulling out her materia and destroying a few of the decorations, but something in the back of her head stopped her. Not only would it be uncalled for, it would attract too much attention. So she would have to deal.
Curse the turk's code!
In a distracted and mostly blinded daze, Helen wandered about the fluffified town, when a musky, but mildly sweet smell drifted past. Something almost floral, it seemed...
She couldn't help it... she followed the scent right into a pink smog. For a few seconds she was blinded by the obtrusive color and overpowered by the scent, but then, strangely, both faded away, leaving her with a feeling that she didn't quite recognize.
In fact, she was so caught up in the emotion that she wandered right into another guest.
"Oh... Hello! I'm sorry...I seem to be a little..... lost......" This man was very... appealing.... Even if he was a few years younger...

Lightning just still stared at Hope for the moment. So much...so many questions were running through her mind. How had this even happened? Was it even possible? Lightning honestly didn't have the slightest idea. But she had so many questions racing through her mind. Lightning was the sort of person that liked to figure out everything and be able to know everything. She didn't like mysteries or being around things that she didn't know much about. Lightning liked to know everything as opposed to things being left unknown. And right now, she really did want to know what happened to Hope. Must've been something in that drink. If he had the same one that she did. Although, the one Lightning drank didn't age her by ten years. Maybe his was slightly different then hers.
Lightning and Hope could be considered friends by now. Lightning took it as her responsibilty to look after him. At first, it was more of a burden and she didn't like it. But it was different now. As time progressed, she really did begin to like him more and more. She cared for him almost like he was her brother, and she had to be the big sister as usual. And look out for him, like she did with her own sister, Serah. But today. She was harboring something different for Hope. Something that she never felt before. She wanted to be with him in a different way. Talk about...feelings. Something that Lightning had learned to isolate herself from. She pushed her emotions away in hopes of being stronger. She thought that emotions were whatmade her weak. But this emotion that she was feeling, she wasn't sure whether she should push it away, or keep it with her. It was so...warm. And so inviting. She felt it all around her. Especially in her heart. It was beating so fast.
She couldn't help but smile when Hope called her Miss Light. Yeah this was definitely Hope. Only he would call her that. Even though he was older, he was still bursting with his innocence. And she could see it in his face and his eyes. Older, but still full of that innocence. Hope always seemed to be able to make her smile. Maybe it was his personality. And it really took a lot to make someone as emotionally hardened as Lightning smile. But Hope seemed to be able to do it. Lightning listened when Hope started to explain how this happened. He seemed nervous and confused. She didn't blame him. This was confusing. And while Lightning did want to know quite a bit, she figured she could let it be. As Hope really didn't seem to know. Maybe she could just enjoy this night that she was having with him. It was going to be interesting thats for sure. Especially if he had that same feeling that she had.
"Calm down. Its probably not worth explaining. Either way, you're a lot taller then me now." Lightning said and she smiled a bit. Did she just make a joke? And smile? That was just odd and out of her character. Maybe it had to do with that emotion that she was feeling. Could that really go so far as to alter her personality? The more she focused her attention on Hope and looked at him, the more she felt attracted to him. Attracted to him in a way that she never felt toward anyone before. A way that she never felt for Hope before either. Was she feeling...love? Lightning never imagined that she would be one to fall in love. She just couldn't see herself having a loving relationship like Snow and Serah did. But right now, being here with Hope, she felt quite comfortable. With this new emotion.
When she heard him speak to her again, she smiled again at his compliment. She was smiling and feeling happy. Things that she never felt that much. And no one ever called her beautiful before. It was kind of nice. Serah usually got those compliments. Her sister was beautiful. But no one ever called her that before. And she liked it. She also noticed that Hope looked quite...attractive. Maybe it had to do with this aging."Thank you...you look very nice as well, Hope." Lightning said. She was never one for compliments either. But she felt like giving one to Hope for some reason.

Really, Kairi should not be enjoying this as much as she was!
The Princess had no desire to question why, though, and everyone else within the vicinity was of no importance. Her whole world revolved around Seifer now, and that fact should have had her pulling away. She was not, though, because her heart was racing, and all she wanted was to be within his arms. His hold was strong and secure, promising he would not let go of her. Kairi found that his smugness was alluring, attractive in how much confidence he had in everything he did. His cyan-colored eyes were so mesmerizing to gaze into, and Kairi found no wish to look away. The world could disappear from beneath her feet, and all she cared was that Seifer continued to hold her this close. This emotion, these desire to be near him, and the quick beating of her pure heart. Her oceanic eyes suddenly widened in realization, and she felt just a little dazed as she found the answer. Really, it was rather obvious, but her attention had been focused solely on the older male, leaving no room for thought.
"You may be right, but we still have the whole night left to see," Kairi replied back. How long would this apparent love spell last? As soon as she thought of the answer, it was instantly erased from her mind. What had she been thinking of before? Her eyes seemed to glaze over for a moment, before her thought were suddenly filled with Seifer's handsome features once more. Her lips curled into a smirk, watching as Seifer took notice of her new attire. Well, she was rather flattered he seemed to like red on her~! The Princess bit her bottom lip to keep from giggling. Her oceanic orbs glittered, and she slid her arm to rest about his neck, instead of upon his shoulder. A move that sent a light blush across her cheeks, but Kairi could not find herself minding that she had done it. "Like what you see~?" she asked lightly. As if she did not know the answer to that question already.
And then another surprise occurred.
It seemed she was not the only one to have had her clothing changed. Kairi glanced up and down, taking in the more formal attire Seifer now wore. Her brow quirked, and she smiled brightly. Well, he did look rather handsome in the right attire~! The Princess looked back up, now finding a top hat upon his head, and his hair falling more loosely about his face. Almost absently, she slid her hand from his neck, her fingers brushing against his cheek as she pushed a stray blond lock away. Quickly, Kairi returned her hand to rest on his shoulder, her own cheeks burning at what she had just done. Nervously, she licked her lips, glancing away for a moment as that emotion burned more intensely through her. Even through all of her thoughts, Kairi easily flowed through this waltz, her body going through each and every step naturally. Dancing had always been something she was good at, and rather enjoyed as well~! Kairi glanced back at Seifer, trying to pout, but failing obviously.
"I remember keeping you on your toes, thank you very much!" Her heart fluttered when she saw him flash a grin at her. Her eyes widened a fraction, and all the Princess wanted was to see Seifer smile again. Maybe it was impulse, or maybe it was the fact that he looked far too cute for his own good, but Kairi leaned up slightly. Maybe it was her own confidence, giving the older boy another challenge he would not possibly refuse, or because her heart was telling her to do so. The Princess hesitated for a moment, but she shook it off, pressing her lips gently against his for a moment. Pleasant warmth spread through her at the contact, and her grip about him tightened, and she pulled herself closer to him. Oh, how this could all go wrong.

Sharkplank was sneaking around pretty successfully. He had yet to encounter anyone else, or anything else. He came to the conclusion that he was completely alone, for the most part. About to put his gun away, someone collided with him. It wasn't very forceful, as he didn't move himself, but the recoil knocked his gun down.
Almost in a reflex, he span around about to aim a fist at whatever had attacked him, when he saw a woman. He froze. It was a very attractive woman. But the felt a strange feeling that intensified the more he looked at her. In fact, he could actually feel his face turning red. To maintain his pirate fueled masculinity, he spun around and made sure his back was facing her, so she could not see his red face. Then, it a voice that he gruffed up more than usual, he said
"So, whats a woman like you doing around here?" He found it difficult to conceal his embarrassment, so he folded his arms. He would maintain his image of fear and dread even if it killed him. Of course, he was failing miserably, just listening to his voice or one look at his face would show that.

[OoC: Ack! Sorry, aunt surprised me and we left yesterday instead of today.. And the dress.] Perhaps the old phrase she had heard uttered was true. Curiosity often kills the cat, but perhaps they should add that it brought various levels of danger for humans. Fro that was what she know knew was often then case. A simple trip after something moving in the dark had brought her to an unfamiliar place. To top it all off, the glowing orb she had frantically been chasing-having assumed it her most sought after treasure- had only been a ball polished and in the hands of a Shadow. Looking around her one more time, she stepped forward as a pink heart shaped door seem to call out. It was just an innocent door, but somehow it seemed more intriguing then any other of the doors. Studying it for a moment, she lightly reached out, opening the door slowly. Who knew if heartless hid here? Or what other scary thing could be hiding behind it? Blinking when nothing came out as the door fully opened, Yuffie stepped forward a bit and leaned over to look into the hollow part of the tree. At the same time she did so, she felt something push and found herself falling. "Aaaaa-omph!" Landing on her bottom, Yuffie let out a grunt. Well, that hadn't been the worse of her falls, and she doubted that would be the last. "Owwie... Hey.. where am I? This place is strange.. and pink.." IT reminded her of Aireth for a moment before she stood, hands coming to brush any dirt that may have collected on her. Well, there was only one thing to do in this situation. Run around and explore and see if this place had anything fun to offer. With the thought firmly set in her mind, she took off at a jog towards the seemingly most busy place. A cloud of pink stopped her, having just taken a breath to fill her lung. Coughing some, she missed how the smell reminded her of leather and rain, not unpleasant to her. Regaining herself, she found the smoke to be completely gone. Odd, perhaps it had been a spell backfiring? Shrugging her shoulders, the ninjette began moving forward before her distracted gaze caused her to bump into someone. "Oh! Sorry." She remarked, stepping back with a sheepish look, eyes on Kaze.

"Oh! Sorry." Kaze heard a woman's voice say. This being after feeling someone bump into him. Kaze turned his head to look at whoever bumped into him. He was about to tell Yuffie it wasn't a problem when his eyes met her eyes, and what beautiful eyes they were. They seemed to be a mix between red and purple to him.
Then Kaze noticed the rest of her. To him she was beautiful. Her dress really made her better features shine. Kaze mouth opened for a few moments. He was about to say something but he couldn't find the words.
Kaze then noticed that his heart was beating faster and that the blood was rushing up to his cheeks.Am I blushing? Kaze asked himself. Now he was confused. What was this feeling that he felt? Was it love? If it was Kaze has never experienced this kind of love. He knew the feeling of love for a sibling. That was all though. After the destruction of his home world by chaos, Kaze became more stoic and has pushed his emotions away.
Now though, Kaze didn't want to push this feeling away. It was a warm feeling, one he wanted to feel for much longer. So with that in mind Kaze was finally able to say something. "It's okay. My name is Kaze, what's your name? You look very beautiful by the way." Kaze finally said.(Crappy start of post I know.)

[OOC :: OH GOSH SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY >< You left me like, the best post yet and I disappeared >< I lose internet on the weekends =[ Really sorry Kairi....I didn't mean to abandon you Achhh....fail timing, heh]The whole night... For a moment, Seifer considered that promise, but he realized that his mind had become a bit groggy when it came to sensing time at all - how long had he been here already? How long had it been since this feeling for Kairi had even come about? It felt like he had felt this way forever, but he knew that couldn't be possible...so how long had it been? And...if it came on so suddenly, just how long would it last? Maybe they did indeed have the whole night - which was a thought that the blonde, at least for the moment, really enjoyed imagining - or maybe they would not. Well, live every day like it might be your last one - that was one philosophy that Seifer found it quite easy to follow. Again, not having much of a conscience certainly helped booster that along. Seifer raised an eyebrow at Kairi's question about her outfit, a smug look still plastered on his features. "Do you really have to ask that....and do I really need to answer it?" he then asked her, a hint of teasing present in his voice hidden behind what he saw as a very serious question. He assumed his gawking had been quite enough to show her that he noticed that her red dress brought out her eyes more, and showed off her femininity even more so than her normal pink outfit. And at the same time, he was pretty certain that he had caught her noticing the change in his own outfit - and he assumed that she liked it as well. What was not to like, after all? Insert self-satisfied smirk here. The smirk faltered for a moment when Kairi suddenly reached out to brush away a stray bit of his hair, and the young man suddenly had a rare moment of actually feeling the heat rise in his cheeks briefly before she suddenly replaced her hand on his shoulder and looked away, her own cheeks a bit coloured. What was that all about? Well....he had to admit that he had liked it, and he felt a strange longing for her touch once again...this really was a strange evening indeed, but the realization that something not normal was going on faded more and more with every moment, and Seifer continued to become more and more a victim to the spell's power. The moment passed, though, when Kairi let that strong-willed side of hers show once more in a bit of defiance. Kept him on his toes? Please. His pride would not allow him to admit that, even to someone he felt as strongly about as Kairi (wow, that time it felt natural to think that). "I guess I'll just have to return the favour tonight," he then said smoothly, but he quickly realized that she had leaned closer to him yet, and the thoughts of their struggle match and anything related to that instantly vanished from the blonde's mind. All he could see was Kairi - he didn't even know if they were still dancing or not, because the rest of the world just....faded away. And then she did it - she made her challenge. And what a challenge it was. Seifer's eyes widened accordingly when Kairi's lips were suddenly pressed against his own, but he regained himself impressively quickly and returned the favour rather than stand there dumbfounded. She had presented this challenge, and it was one that the gunblader was more than willing to accept - actually, he kind of wished he had made the challenge first, but oh well. He didn't have time for that thought as his hand that had been resting so securely on her waist made its way up to cradle the back of her head. All normal thought processes and any chance of reasoning had just been dully banished.

Eyes wide and innocent, Yuffie found herself staring back at the stranger's blue eyes. No, she corrected herself silently, there was only one eye visiblem. The other was covered by Lifting her gaze back something. Still, it seemed nice on him. Silently, her gaze moved on, mentally tracing the marks on his face. Before she could stare for too long, and thus consider it rude, she moved her gaze downwards, taking in his appearance.
He had a rugged look about him, but she didn't mind. Most of the people she had been around had a story to tell, and sometimes they were clothing to match this. In fact, she was willing to bet that she herself held the traveler's look at one point. Well, she always did, it came with the life of a ninja thief. She wouldn't trade her shorts and worn out clothes for the world, except if they became too tattered. But that was getting off track.
"It's okay. My name is Kaze, what's your name? You look very beautiful by the way."[/i]
Bringing her mind back to the matter at hand, and not her attachment to her clothes, she smiled. Good, at least she wasn’t going to be scolded like others would do. Lifting her gaze up from his shoes, she had the similar sensation to having the wind knocked from her. He was.. Strikingly handsome.. And she found ti hard to concentrate on anything but him. A feeling bubbled in her chest, one that was slightly foreign to her. It was close to the one she got when she went about collecting Materia and to those she had around her. But, it was much stronger, more clear hen she looked at him. Was this what falling in love meant? She had never believed that old tale about falling in love at first sight, but it seemed true enough.
Cheeks tinging pink, she bit back a giggle and spun around, striking a pose. “Me? Why I’m the eternal champion of justice, the silent protector of the weak.. The Great Nin-whoa!” It seemed moving from one pose to another too quick wasn’t a smart idea. As such, her foot caught against the floor, sending her back. Wind milling her arms, she found it useless as she fell back on her bottom for the second time that day. Letting out a groan, she blinked as she looked down. When had she changed from her normal outfit? Or rather, why had she done so into something like this? Oh well, maybe whatever that smoke was, it had done it. Perhaps it would wear off in time.
“Whoopsie.. That wasn’t supposed to happen..” she muttered, standing and rubbing her back. Her cheeks darkened for a moment as she pushed the feeling of embarrassment away. “I’m Yuffie Kisaragi.. Nice to meet you Kaze.”

Helen's breath caught for a moment as the young man turned to face her, almost in anger. His youth suited him, she noted. In fact, he was very, VERY handsome. Even for someone that looked so rough in attire.
She didn't miss the slight reddining of his face as he turned away from her, and crossed his arms, and giggled.
Wait- giggled? Since when did SHE giggle? That was, quite possibly, the most shocking thing, to her, out of all that had happened in the past few years....
"So, whats a woman like you doing around here?" He asked in an unfittingly gruff voice. She giggled again.
"Maybe I should be asking what a man like yourself is here. It's so flowery and pink that I'm surprised there's anyone here in non-formal attire."
"Sooo.... What's your name?"
She flicked a lock of hair out of her face flirtily- eventhough he wasn't looking. Then she froze in shock. Since WHEN did she act so... so Girly?

[[OOC: Don't be sorry, Seifer! It happens, and the post you wrote is more than enough to make up for it! [Not that you do~!] I love it~!]]
Maybe this was not as bad as she had thought.
Kairi still did not understand what had happened, but she was enjoying herself, and being with Seifer was someone she was quite happy to be with. He was stubborn, confident, and he enjoyed her rather strong-willed personality. Her fluttering heart was not as odd as before, and she was enjoying the warmth that he brought forth from her. Had they stopped dancing? All Kairi could remember was leaning up toward him, compelled to kiss him into silence. [Not a bad idea, if she did say so herself.] To catch him off guard, because the Princess liked challenges as well, and she loved winning them even more. Seifer was more than a challenge, and she was really enjoying stepping up to it. His lips were warm beneath hers, and she caught the brief widening of his eyes. Grinning into the kiss, Kairi soon closed her ocean orbs, her fingers sliding into his blond hair, curling around the silken strands. Her slender frame pressed up closely against his, and she could feel the world melt around her.
Fading away, only Seifer left.
His hand had moved to cradle her head, and Kairi felt her heart begin to race against her chest. Her cheeks had darkened, and she was left holding onto Seifer to keep her legs from turning into jelly. The Princess moved her lips against his gently, and she had never felt so content within her life. Music continued to flow through the air, and she felt it wrap around her, and all she desired was to pull herself closer to Seifer. She did not think that was quite possibly at this point, but she liked the idea. A muffled giggle escaped her, but she merely continued to enjoy this kiss with Seifer while she could. The Princess could already feel the need for air begin to arise, but she merely let her fingers stroke though his blond hair, and continued to move her lips gently against his. Her body felt so warm to the touch, and all her thoughts and emotions were focused solely upon Seifer. Whatever this spell had been, whatever reason for her sudden, well, love for him, she did not wish for it to end.
Time was such a distant and nonexistent concept to her. How much time had already passed? How long would this moment last? Kairi merely tilted her head to the side, angling her lips to press more intimately against his. Her heart beat rang within her ears, and the moments lingered on. Slowly, the Princess pulled away, her lips parted, and her eyes still closed. Inhaling deeply, Kairi slowly relaxed back onto her feet. Oceanic eyes opened slowly, and she looked up at Seifer. Really, without that smirk he always wore, his handsome features took her breath away. Without that arrogance and stubborn nature showing through, he seemed so at peace. Her gaze softened, and the Princess regarded the male with a gentle smile. Her hands slowly slid from his hair, though she moved her one hand to rest against his cheek, the heated skin warm against her palm. "I think I win," she replied, her eyes glittering with unspoken mirth.
Oh, the Princess had one-upped the Struggle Champion~!

[OOC: -bow @ Seif- Glad you liked the show~!]
Axel's level of screwed had reached epic proportions.
Not only was she, for one thing, a she, but she'd obviously stumbled right into the heart of the celebration and the first person to meet her eyes had been none other than the Superior himself.
Just what in the name of Kingdom Hearts Xemnas was doing in the middle of Halloween Town-come-Valentine Hell was beyond fathoming for an Axel already lost in a deluge of hormones and genetic impossibilities and just recently a sudden burst of emotion that she couldn't identify at first. Whatever the case, it sent her closer like a moth to a flame and just as doomed to burn. Suddenly appearance was important--convenient where it hadn't been before, almost fortuitous, and she moved with the same grace she'd always presented as a male but somewhat lighter and more elongated as a female. Axel had always known without having to be told that she was attractive, and that mentality didn't change now. In fact, with the same kind of subtlety as the thieflike approach of sleep, the incident that turned her female seemed to slip further and further back in time, until it felt like it happened years ago like when she first lost her heart.
"Hello, Superior." Sarcasm hadn't left her voice, at least. It was mild where she addressed Xemnas--she was reckless, not stupid--but there was an undertone of danger, and Axel made no secret of it. Her voice was still deep enough that she knew how to nudge and twist at it to get the sound she wanted, but her body language stayed masculine in nature. Where a girl might have huddled inward and toyed with her hair, smiled demurely with her eyes flicking about in nervous adoration, Axel's stance was challenging, jade glinting seduction and dominance at once. What she wanted, she would get.
"Fancy meeting you out here," she drawled in the meantime, lips curved in a fuller smirk than usual. She crossed her arms, cocked her hip, all the subtle signs of courtship--enjoy the show, Superior~--and ran her eyes over him in turn. "You here to dance, or are you keeping an eye on me?" One eyebrow quirked suggestively. This level of boldness was dangerous, but there weren't any other underlings around for Xemnas to lose face in front of, and Axel hadn't said anything directly insubordinate. At worst she'd get a monotonous lecture and a punishment mission.
At best? Who knew. Not that Axel had the first illusion when it came to Xemnas, but this new emotion was like walking on air. Suddenly his every feature was unique, precious, irreplaceable, and the fact that his eyes were on her at all made her weak at the knees in a way that she absolutely would not betray to him. Anything seemed possible now, because out of all that sudden devotion, the hope that it might be returned seemed strongest--though in Axel's case, it was desperation as always.

“Me? Why I’m the eternal champion of justice, the silent protector of the weak.. The Great Nin-whoa!”Kaze heard her say as he watched her spin around and strike a pose. Kaze then noticed her foot get caught on the thethe ground. Before he knew it she had fallen backwards on her bottom. From this Kaze could tell that she seemed a bit clumsy.
He could also tell that she was rather hyperactive. These were just two qualities though and he wanted to get to know the rest of her. “Whoopsie.. That wasn’t supposed to happen..” She muttered as she stood up and rubbed her back. Kaze only smiled at this though.
“I’m Yuffie Kisaragi.. Nice to meet you Kaze.” She told him after her cheeks had darkened a bit."Same goes to you." Kaze replied before looking at the dance floor. It did seem like this was supposed to be a dance. So he wondered if he should ask her to dance. Of course he didn' even know if he knew how. Those thoughts would melt away after he stared back into her eyes. He would then grab Yuffie's hand and lead her onto the dance floor.

First the Superior had to swallow the lump that had appeared in his throat.
This was wrong, all wrong. Xemnas couldn't feel, didn't want to feel. He had found his true purpose inside the emptiness that he was an embodiment of, and emotion was not a welcome occurrence. What had done this, what had brought feeling flooding back into his body, wanted or not? The Superior couldn't allow anyone, and that included the suddenly attractive Axel, to know that he was possessed of such weakness.
"Axel."
Xemnas gave a formal nod to the Flurry of Dancing Flames, though there were many different responses he would have preferred to give a now female Axel. There was no choice but to keep everything hidden, to pretend that he was the opposite of what he had formerly been, to act as a shell would. Every emotion that the Superior felt at this moment, confusion and desire being the most prominent, could be nothing less than concealed, hidden.
The Superior could not afford for anyone to be anything less than ignorant, less he lose all respect that had been allotted to him in the past.
The Flurry of Dancing Flames was making things difficult, however, and the Superior was not certain whether or not the female was doing such a thing on purpose. Under normal circumstances Xemnas would be able to derive motives from simple observation, reading body language and other such things, but with this new influx of emotion he found it difficult to find any motive whole he studied Axel's body, noticing only that he had not laid eyes on a more exquisite form in quite some time.
Xemnas brought himself back into focus at the sound of Axel's, much more feminine, voice. He could not allow the Flurry of Dancing, Xemnas suddenly found himself wishing that he could witness her doing such a thing, Flames catch him staring, it would only go to complicate the Superior's status in the Organization.
No matter how promising such an action sounded, Xemnas could not indulge other nothings in romantic encounters.
The logical thing to tell Axel in response to her inquiries was that he had a task for her, but the Superior was no longer interested in such things. Xemnas was not even entirely certain that he could tell Axel that he needed her without telling her how much he needed her.
But the more Xemnas thought about it, the more the idea of finding out if Axel had truly earned her title appealed to him. After a moment of internal conflict the Superior came to the conclusion that at least attempting courtship with the Flurry of Dancing Flames would not impact him negatively.
If things began to take a wrong turn, the Superior could simply turn Axel into a dusk.
Problem solved.
"The latter would be my original intentions, but on further reflection it appears that the former would not be entirely un-appropriate." The Superior of the In-Between held out a hand to the exotic shell before him. "Or are you unsure?" If the Flurry of Dancing Flames still held the same personality inside that now feminine shell of her's, then such a challenge would only goad the nothing into Xemnas' arms.
A most welcome thought indeed.
