"Same goes to you."
She watched his gaze turn from hr, and it seemed that was what it took for her to let out a breath and remember what it meant to breath properly. While his eyes weren;t on her, she turned slightly, hand running through her short locks to make sure tey weren't out of place. It was somethign she normally didn't care too much bout, but it seemed that everything depended on her looking her best.
Counting it acceptable by feeling -since she didn't have a mirror- she resumed her smiling stance as he looked back at her. Again, that warm sensation flitted through her, the feeling akin to butterflies dancing in her stomach growing ever more apparent. As his hand took hers, she couldn't help but blush once more. It was nice.. the feel of his hand holding hers. Without any resistance,s he followed along after him. It didn't take a genius to figure out what would be happening.
Looking around, she couldn't help but give a nervous smile. "I.. Can't promise this'll go smoothly.. I never really cared much for the few dance lessons.." She remarked. "So I can't say how well your feet will survive this.." She added, a giggle coming from her.

Honestly, Seifer couldn't remember the last time he had kissed anyone like this.
And he definitely had no memories of having these sorts of strange feelings attached to the action - feelings that made something that was already quite enjoyable that much more pleasant. Desirable. Burning.
She was so close, her body melded against his own. He was quite certain they had stopped dancing now, and that was fine - this was a much better challenge in his eyes. He could feel her slender fingers combing through his unkempt hair, and he did the same to her long, auburn strands, letting his fingers trail through her hair and along the soft skin of her shoulders and neck that the red dress revealed a bit. He wanted her to somehow be closer - actually, he wanted nothing more than to just feel her smaller frame against his, to hold her there, to protect her...
Wow, he really was rather far gone. Not that he even noticed at this point - the spell was far too powerful.
When Kairi finally pulled away simply from lack of air, the gunblader continued to stand there, lips slightly parted for a few moments catching his own breath before his eyes flickered back open. And then she spoke - and that slightly stupefied, relaxed look that had taken over the blonde's face instantly vanished, being replaced first by a quick look of confusion, and then that trademark smirk found its way back to his lips once more. "I'm sure you'd like to think you've won, but this night isn't even close to over," Seifer then said coolly, a devious glint flashing in his cyan eyes as he securely placed one hand on the small of her back, and the other on the cool skin on the back of her neck.
"You need to learn that I never lose," Seifer's tone was confident once more, and then he leaned the girl in his arms easily backwards into a dip before kissing her once more, this time being the one to start the action. He knew that she was strong-willed - but this action could be taken in different ways by her. She could get upset at her weaker position, because he felt he was pretty in control at the moment....or maybe he had managed to just sweep her off her feet - figuratively speaking for now at least, of course - and she would be too lost in the moment to care. His confidence told him the latter was more likely, and refused to believe anything less than that would happen.

"My name?"
Sharkplank, in any other situation on any world would have either responded threatingly, cryptically, or not at all. Even if he did choose to respond to someone, he would use this fake name he had made up for himself, "Sharkplank". But he answered, this time, for once, truthfully.
"I don't know my name."
He turned back around to meet the gaze of this mysterious character he had encountered, although he had stopped being red. He couldn't quite explain his sudden change of mood. He went from larger-than-life pirate captain, to bumbling idiot who apparently could not act normally around the fairer sex, to this confident young man. He couldn't quite explain the feeling he was experiencing, only that it felt pleasant and strangely familiar. He felt as if he longed for this feeling, for years, but never found it, or never wanted to.
He redirected his gaze so he was looking deeply down into the mysterious pair of eyes that he found himself admiring, without even noticing he was doing it. He unfolded his arms, and spoke in a now less gruff voice.
"But, I guess you can call me "K"."
He smiled widely, something he had not done in years.
"And your name is?"

Maybe Seifer did have a surprise for her~!
Her chest rose and fell, and the Princess tried to regain her breath. Well, that had been a bold move on her part, and she rather enjoyed the warming sensations it had brought her. Kairi licked her lips, feeling a residual tingle from where his lips had been pressed against hers. The mere thought alone was rather dizzying, and she giggled just a little. Was it possible to become drunk off a kiss? Well, if so, the Princess would not at all against finding out. She could hear the chatter and voices of others floating about her, but they did not hold any meaning to Kairi. All of her attention and care were upon Seifer, and she did not think anyone would be able to pull her focus away from him. She watched as he opened his eyes, and the Princess found his expression absolutely adorable. Not that she would ever voice such a thought out loud, because she did not think Seifer would take to being called 'adorable.' Holding back a laugh at the thought, Kairi merely admired him in silence.
And his trademark smirk was once more in place.
Kairi wondered if that was a record. Mention anything about winning, and Seifer would seize the opportunity to prove that person wrong. She was on the receiving end this time, and she could not bring herself to care at all. The Princess was rather excited, actually, and she merely grinned in response. "I like to think I surprised you just a bit," she answered easily, and Kairi merely smirked. It was not often that she did, but that mischievous light was in her eyes, and she found herself rather excited to see it within his cyan eyes as well. Her breath hitched, feeling his one hand moved to the small of her back, and the other to the base of her neck. His palm was rather warm against her cool skin, and it sent a shiver through her slender frame. She peered up at him curiously, and Kairi did wonder what he planned to do. Knowing Seifer, something that would definitely surprise her off her feet, or something of the like.
Her thought was pretty close~!
Kairi was suddenly leaned back, and a small gasp escaped her lips. She had somewhat expected it, but it was still another thing to experience it. Her blue eyes widened a fraction, but any worries she held quickly vanished once his lips pressed against hers. Alright, maybe she would admit he had won this time, if only mentally, but she would still fight back~! Kairi closed her eyes, her hands sliding upward to tangle into his hair once more. Blond locks slid through her small fingers, and she let herself be held close to him. Her balance felt a little off with her body bent back, but Kairi was comfortable. Seifer must be rather proud of herself, but her only response to the thought was a muffled laugh. Quickly, she forgot about thinking of anything else but kissing the confident male. Her lips moved lightly against his, and Kairi merely tried to hold herself closer to his lean frame. Winning, losing, it really did not matter to her right now.
Kairi considered herself to be winning, anyway.

...Oh.
It would have been completely normal for Xemnas to launch right into a punishingly long lecture about Axel's place in the Organization. It wouldn't have been out of place for him to just impose a punishment, or completely disregard any offense in favor of business. Hell, it would've been kind of unexpected but not completely out of the blue if he turned Axel into a Dusk on a whim--it wasn't like she had a short list of "crimes and transgressions" to answer to--but to actually cater to Axel's presumably arbitrary suggestion was very much unusual. Something didn't seem right about the way Xemnas was acting, but to Axel it was more likely to be a trap than a weakness and she didn't intend to take any chances where the mysterious and unpredictable Superior was concerned.
But speaking of weakness, she also didn't intend to show it. Maybe Xemnas was weaving some net to capture her with, but if it was the price to pay for getting close to him she couldn't seem to regret it. Chances were she could explain her way out, and shrinking from his acquisition was a bolder act than rising to it in the end, so self-preservation and hormones and emotion all agreed that the only direction to move in was forward.
It required just a moment of reluctance, an arched eyebrow, a jade glimmer of interest, and the poised hesitation of a fox at the mouth of a cave that may or may not contain a sleeping bear before Axel's hand found Xemnas's. "Shall we~?" she asked with a flowing step forward, letting the deep click of her heel punctuate the question. It felt wrong because it was a surrender--because she felt like she should be dominating, was meant to, but her role in the dance was to follow and his was to lead. Not that guiding Xemnas's footsteps would be much less nerve-wracking, but submitting to him this intimately felt like the first step onto razor-thin ice.
Nonetheless, Axel took up her position like an oiled marionette and fixed her eyes on Xemnas in a new challenge, an aloof one that suggested not impressing her would have the consequence of losing her. She held that look until it wavered, softening under a tense inhale; it seemed impossible that he wouldn't feel her trembling, and she had a rare moment of relief that she didn't have a heart to thunder against her ribcage.

[OOC :: I would just like to take this moment to cordially thank Facebook chat for locking up my browser unexpectedly and making me lose this post not once, but TWICE before I could complete it. Thank you, FB chat and Windows Vista, for never failing to brighten my day. My sincerest apologies if this completely SUCKS because at this point I'm just angry ><]
Was this really happening to him? Was all of this just...a dream? Something about the entire situation couldn't help but feel very surreal to Seifer, like something was amiss that he could not quite place his finger on...like something was very, very wrong. He felt that at any moment, the fact that the girl in his arms that he was currently kissing, holding, caressing was a friend of a few of his minor enemies, someone that he had absolutely nothing in common with, and someone he doubted he could hold more than a five-minute legitimate conversation with would suddenly matter again. That suddenly he would stop feeling the strong emotional and physical attraction that he had for her, with those deep azure eyes, that beautifully smooth auburn hair, that feminine figure and those attractive features, that spunky personality...
Wait, wait, wait. Key example of the point that SOMETHING had to be up. Feelings and emotions were running away from Seifer and leaving his rationality behind with nothing but the dust from their path, and he was left feeling mystified by the entire phenomenon. Now, Seifer was far from new to allowing his emotions to govern his actions more than his mind - but those emotions were usually based on anger, vengeance, or pride and the like, never on the 'l' word - not even when Rinoa, or even Fujin had been part of the picture. He refused to even allow that consideration any of his thought time. And that, he found himself completely lost in Kairi without any explanation, willing to do anything for her, anything to keep her at his side, to keep her holding onto him so tightly, and to keep those lips against his own...
If this was a dream, did he want to wake up? He could not even answer that question.
Thus, Seifer did the only thing that he could think of, listening to what his emotions were telling him to do, and he kissed the Princess of Heart a bit more passionately, asking more out of her soft kisses than he had been previously, more than she had been giving him. Another challenge? Perhaps. Or perhaps the gunblader had become so lost in the spell of the evening that he had moved past trying to challenge her, and trying to 'conquer' her as his personality dictated, and was simply loving her. It was something that he had never believed he truly had the capacity or the ability to do, but maybe that was exactly what was happening.
However, despite his increased challenge on the girl, it was Seifer who first pulled away this time, slowly returning Kairi to a normal standing position, though he continued to hold her close to his larger frame, one hand gently stroking her hair and the other securely around her waist. For the first time that evening, cyan eyes flicked around the scene around him, noting many other couples had formed - none of whom looked vaguely familiar, but they all looked....happy. Or something. Seifer had never been that great at reading emotions. Was there something wrong with...all of them? Rationality was fighting to gain its place in Seifer's mind again, but it was a losing struggle, because the only answer he had to that question was that he did not care what the rest of them were doing - as long as Kairi remained his, and stayed in his arms.
For the moment, he could not even consider letting her go. Never. "Maybe you did surprise me...." The words were soft, answering a statement the girl had made several minutes previously...an answer that had more than one meaning behind it - meanings that the blonde could not admit aloud, but they were there all the same.

The Princess never wished for this to end.
This was beyond her rational train of thought, and beyond the realm of reality. Reality was not this peaceful and lovely, because this felt so much more like a dream. A dream where her deepest desires were coming true, but with the entirely wrong face. Seifer was not the one she should be longing to hold and keep close, but Kairi was. Kissing him as she was, and merely holding all the more tightly to him. A dream never brought her this much clarity, though, but reality was far too crueler than was this moment gave. A dream within reality. Beyond logical thought, Kairi still twined her arms around his neck, trying to pull herself closer, and giving into the warmth of his lips pressed against her own. Her heart raced, and her blood raced beneath her skin. Cheeks flushing a dark red, and all the Princess wondered was if this dream in reality could last for a while longer. Nothing made sense, but it felt beyond right and perfect. Complicated and simple, and far too good to last for long. Nothing was right, but all the pieces fell into place so perfectly, that Kairi had to wonder where she had the right to question these emotions at all.
His lips seemed to move more earnestly to hers, an unspoken desire becoming aware to her. Kairi was hardly one to deny Seifer anyway--where had that though come from?--so she gave in without thought. Her fingers stroked his blond locks gently, one hand slowly sliding from his hair, toward his cheek. Her palm rested against the warm skin, and she caressed his cheek lightly. A loving gesture, and beyond her comprehension. Music still floated through the air, but no longer was she dancing. No longer did she care to do so. The Princess only cared about staying within his arms, and never letting go. Her lungs burned, and she needed air, but Kairi enjoyed the kiss. Her emotions poured into such a simple act, and her heart racing furiously against her chest. His arms supporting her, and the only thing keeping her tethered to this beautiful reality. The Princess was so worried that if he let her go, this perfect moment would shatter, and everything would end too soon. Was this right at all? Her mind tried to tell her it was, but her heart would not listen. She had always followed her heart before, so why should this be any different?
All too soon, Seifer pulled away.
Kairi could still feel her lips tingling from where his had been. Her azure eyes slowly opened, and her cheeks were flushed pleasantly. How long had that moment lasted? She inhaled sharply, relieving the burning of her lungs. Her feet soon regained balance upon the floor, but Seifer did not release his hold upon her slender frame. His arm was still around her waist, and his hand stroking her hair. A content sigh escaped her, and Kairi rested her head within the crook of his neck. She seemed to fit so perfectly against him--did she really? Her warm breath came out against his skin, and she wondered if that would bother him at all. Her arms were still secure around his neck, but her fingers seemed to move in small circles upon the warm skin, kneading the muscles without thought. An impromptu massage, but Kairi continued the actions without thought. Her whole body seemed to warm at the emotions that filled her, and all she wanted was to stay close to him. As long as she was held by him, the world could pass her by.
"You surprised me, too," Kairi murmured back. She could pick up on what he meant, but it was alright that he did not reveal the meaning. The Princess was still quite confused over this whole situation as well. With another blush dusting her already red cheeks, Kairi pressed her lips against the warm skin of his neck briefly. Unexpected and brief, but the feelings behind it were real. Even if this was a dream in reality, everything was real. No matter how fleeting or brief, every meaning behind her actions were true.

Hope's poor little heart seem to quicken it's pace as he saw the smile upon Lightning. It made him happy, to know that Lightning was able to smile around him. Not because he made a joke or tripped, but because she was just smiling because she was here with him. But this feeling, it was so weird and strange. It made his heart beat so fast, and his hands slightly sweaty. He was nervous, but not because he didn't know a way out from here. No, it was something different. Was it because he was nervous around Miss Light? Was she the reason for this strange feeling to swell within him? he didn't know, his mind was starting to be a blur... his only focus was Miss Light herself, like she had became a world meant only for him.
Whoaaaaa?! Hope mentally screamed in his mind, turning his body away from Miss Light as he felt his burning face getting redder with each passing thought within his mind. Placing a hand to his face in attempt to hide it, which probably didn't do much. Why was he feeling like this? Was it good? Was it bad? It sure didn't feel bad, but is he suppose to feel this way towards Miss Light? He was sure this feeling was stronger then loving his mother, that's for sure. Ugh, this wasn't helping him calm down at all. It only feels like his little panicked state is just getting worse. "Hm?" Hope turned around at the sound of Lightning's voice, relaxing just a bit by her comment before allowing a small chuckle pass his lips. His rather redden face quickly disappearing, but not all together.
It was true, he was taller now. Instead of actually looking up at Lightning, he had to look down. It was a nice change and a good rest for his neck. "Maybe... in the future, this is what I'll look like?" Hope teased, though it was slightly out of him to even say that. Maybe it was because he had no idea what to say? Or was it because he slightly wished that this is what he'll look like when he's older, so Miss Light could be around him just like this. Or was that asking for too much? He didn't know, his small little mind felt like it was going to explode from all the quick changes and new feelings. Must be what he drank or something before he got into this place, yeah, just a bad drink messing up with his mind.... and age.
Suddenly, Lightning smiled again because of Hope's compliment. This caused him to smile, along with his heart picking up it's pace once more. He just felt... happy, seeing that Lightning was just able to be happy too. He felt like... he could be happy when she's happy. It sounded silly, to be happy about someone else happiness, but he like the thought of it. As long as it was Miss Light, he didn't mind. As long as she's happy... Hope thought but quickly snapped out of it before scratching his cheek. "Really? I never wore these kind of clothes before...." He felt embarrassed, as not many would even state out loud on how he looked. Well, if Miss Light said he looked nice, that was good, right? Right!
Suddenly, Hope blinked at the sound of music, turning to face the dance floor where the other danced. With that, he got a thought and before he could even stop what he was about to do... he already did it. He turned back to the pink female before placing a hand out to her, a smile upon his face as his eyes locked with hers. "May I have this dance?" he spoke only to Miss Light, he wanted to dance. Dance with the woman that made his heart race, but suddenly his mind snapped back where it was suppose to be and his face quickly redden. "U-uhh... o-of course... you don't have t-to..." His voice got lower as his head lowered to stare at the ground in attempt to hide his embarrassment. His offered hand lowered slightly as he started to mumble 'stupid' to himself, thinking that offer wasn't so smart since he can't really see Miss Light enjoying these silly things.
[OOC: Sorry for the late reply, I keep on thinking I'm doing bad with canons. xD; ]

The moments of silence that followed after the Superior's challenge were unbearable. Xemnas could not recall a time that had been more agonizing, not even his defeat at the hands of Sora seemed able to compare. It was not in Xemnas' character to want, to yearn, to feel. The experience was unfamiliar, completely alien. The Superior had long since forgotten the sensation of emotion, had so completely erased the memories of feeling that it was as if he was experiencing it for the first time.
It came close to leaving him breathless.
Xemnas had to restrain a smile as the Flurry of Dancing Flame's hand slid into his own, for the urge to express his satisfaction was almost overwhelming. As an empty being Xemnas had encountered no problems embracing the shell that he was, speaking monotone and treating every matter with a cold indifference. His demeanor was far more difficult to hold up with emotion returned to him, pulling at the way he presented himself, seeking to change how he acted.
The Superior could not help but feel the spark of fear.
What did this emotion mean for his plans? Did all of the Nobodies feel once again? If the Organization fell apart because the members could feel, then the Superior's plans were likely to follow. His goals were not easily achieved alone, and without his goals he had nothing, nothing except...
Xemnas felt his thoughts being pulled away from that of fear, only to be focused on the creature he held in his grasp. As much as the Flurry of Dancing Flames might distaste being the submissive party, at least in the act of dancing, it was the Superior's place to lead, and for Axel to follow.
The Superior began to lead Axel in a dance, though there was no music playing. Instead, Xemnas believed that the song his emotions played would suffice as suitable means to dance to.
"How did you come to posses such a..." The Superior caught himself before the word lovely came from his lips. "Form?"

Dancing with the Superior of Organization XIII and the leader of all Nobodies was like walking on water, and Axel was in immediate danger of drowning.
Not that it looked like she was having any difficulty keeping her title. Xemnas moved like cleaving a path, all controlled power and rhythm, and Axel matched him step for step in light, springy movements that were neither too energetic nor too innocent. It was unexpectedly easy for beings missing the consistency of a heartbeat to follow its unforgiving pace, maybe because its absence made it easier to hear the thrum of motion in its stead, or maybe because everything about tonight seemed touched with mystery and madness. When Xemnas asked that question, Axel practically heard the word he omitted, if only because it was such a strange question to her now that she couldn't remember a form before this one--unless he meant the one that had a heart. But Xemnas wasn't always crystal clear and the whole situation was bizarre. Maybe it was a form of flirting and maybe it wasn't; vague question, vague answer. "Magic~," she replied simply, not daring to wink from that close up but figuring she could get away with the lilt in her tone.
It was, after all, a mad, mysterious, magical night.
"Sp--w--speaking of. D'erm." Silence fell but for a mantra of manohmanohmanohman ricocheting through Axel's head, and she spent the next few steps studiously avoiding Xemnas's gaze, trying in vain to piece together her effectively dynamited thoughts, and hoping to any deities listening that the hotness at her cheeks wasn't a flush. One does not approach one's Superior and go "Guess what, turns out I'm crazy for you"--particularly not when that Superior is Xemnas and one has spent the better part of the past few years ticking him the hell off. One especially doesn't pull that crap when one is in that Superior's arms and cannot even dream of thinking of dreaming of escaping. And one is eight kinds of boned when being that close makes all coherence jump ship.
Although.
Xemnas wasn't exactly in a position to get sappy, whether Axel would prefer that or not, so the fact that Axel was feeling now--or seemed to be feeling--wouldn't be offensive. It'd be interesting. Maybe Xemnas would use her--well that thought was terrifying in half a billion ways, but--maybe they'd find that potion lady. Or maybe that pink mist earli...
Kingdom Hearts I hope it was the pink mist.
But she had to be careful. Offense was still a problem, and if she was going to do this right it had to be real and not just a flirt or a lie. If Xemnas wasn't being affected as well he'd see right through those, and even if he was being affected she couldn't take the chance that he wouldn't.
"Xemnas." She stopped and held up her hands to keep him from moving forward but didn't touch him, a poor shield that was almost a plea. The gesture was important--it'd get his attention, but it was hopefully submissive enough not to seem defiant. Her next words were just as carefully chosen, designed to tickle his curiosity without questioning him directly: "Are we sure the heart's the only way to channel emotion?"

(OoC: I know this is, like, immensly late, but I at least wanted to get this done and say it was done I owe you a thread, Jitzy!)
"Yes, silly. Your name?"[\color] a lightly amused tone filled her voice.
"I don't know my name."
"Oh..." now she felt badly about asking. Her bluntness couldve caused ill feelings! Why did she have to ask? As she mentally scolded herself, the young man turned to face her, and rather than appear saddened by he fact, he caught her off-guard. He didn't seem to mind at all.
His dark eyes caught hers and she was momentarily sucked into them. He had such lovely eyes...
A feeling bloomed in her chest that left an almost painfully warm sort of ticklishness as an aftereffect. It quickly spread through her, and she recognized it as a description she'd heard and read many times before- something shed heard of as "warm and fuzzy." But was that an accurate enough description? She was snapped out of her thoughts as he unfolded his arms and spoke again- this time in a voice that much better suited him- something smoother and less forced sounding.
"But, I guess you can call me "K"."
The man- "K" smiled with all of his features. Even his posture lightened. Helen found herself mirroring his expression.
"And your name is?"
"I'm sorry to say that I do remember my name. And that it's Helen."
(OoC: and there you have it.. Sorry if there are any typos I missed, and that it's short and WAY late...)
