Aqua's gaze was fierce and determined as she walked at a slow, steady pace out onto the battlefield. She had entered due to the thought that this tournament would be a nice change of pace from slaying Heartless and Nobodies- she hadn't had a fun sparring match in a long time. Granted, her only past experience with tournaments was at the Olympus Coliseum, and even so that was a long time ago. However, tournament experience or not, the keybearer was still an adept fighter. While she certainly didn't plan on losing today's match, Aqua reminded herself this fight was supposed to be just for fun- it did correlate with a festival, after all.
The blue-haired Keyblade Master briefly sized up her opponent as he entered from the other side. He had long flowing silver hair and had a bit of a wiry frame, so she figured it would be probable that he was not a fighter that relied on brute strength alone. Regardless of his tactics, Aqua had her own and was going to stick to them- she would wait to see his fighting style before completely adjusting her own. After giving her opponent a smile as if to say good luck, without any hesitation, her keyblade appeared in her hand with a flourish of light and flower petals, she launched into an attack.
Since Aqua didn't know if this man was well versed in magic defense, and she didn't want to drain her energy by casting spell after spell only for her efforts to be in vain, she decided that she'd go with a different style of ranged fighting: shotlocks.
Jumping into the air, Aqua raised her keyblade and from the tip of it shot out several beams of light, each a different color, but all of them homing in on her opponent. This was one of her favorite shotlocks- Prism Rain.

[OOC: Maybe I should've PM'ed Tifa there was a problem with fighting a character from BBS, I don't like spoilers. xD;; I still haven't played BBS or know a single thing of it as I evaded every single spoiler. I haven't even gone watch trailers so I know near zero (other than the five characters that appear on the forum). ^^; Oh well~ Hope you don't spoil it to me. xD]
Yazoo stood on the field in Organization garb. He hadn't been wearing his usual clothing for a long time, first it was due to using the cloak to blame Organization XIII for his actions. And partly he still did as people that had little knowledge of him and the Organization could still think that he was a member. But now he wore it due to having travelled lately only by Corridors and so he had yet to return to his Gummi Ship. Although, he thought of keeping his on for no apparent reason. Perhaps to think of some things of the past.
As the silver-haired man looked across the field, he saw a young lady which had a presence he recognised. It was during his raid on Disney Castle with the Horsemen he had felt it before, but he had not seen her, so he had no idea how she fought. Knowing she stood a chance to stand up against Ferser, a Horseman, he wouldn't want to take her lightly. If things worked out, he would even have a little fun with her.
He noticed the girl give him a smile before flashing a keyblade into her hand. Oh... So another one, with this knowledge the amount of Keybladers he had met counted up greatly. This was number fourteen he knew carried a Keyblade. It was the third Keyblader he faced himself, the first being Artemis, the second was his friend, Keldric. Remembering them his question was whether this girl used magic or strength in her attacks. As both his former Keyblade opponents he fought directly relied more on magic than anything else. Although he suspected Keldric to have fallen back on magic due to his ranged attacks. Also, the two had known one another too long to not know how to fight each other. It was an amusing match that started with a large blast in the middle.
Instead of moving or doing anything at all, except for showing a smirk back at Aqua, he simply stood there and watched Aqua launch her attack. The girl jumped and shot beams at him. In an instant he pulled out his gun and shot bullets at each beam, attempting to destroy them, not certain if that was possible. Just in case he jumped quickly forward and shot another two bullets at Aqua. One was aimed at her left leg and the other at the wrist of her right hand. The first was meant to cripple her and the second to stop her from using her keyblade. He did hope she wouldn't end up as a crippled and weaponless opponent right at the start of the match, but it was a way of seeing if his opponent was able to keep up and even worthy.

OoC.// There'll be no spoilers from me spare Command Style and Shotlock names... promise! c: Aqua let out a hiss of annoyance as Yazoo pulled out a gun and shot her beams of colored light away. So he was a ranged fighter... no matter, she'd just keep up her current tactics, along with dodging his moves. Which would be a good idea, considering the fact he just shot at her. As soon as her feet touched the ground she performed a series of quick cartwheels, just narrowly evading the silver-haired man's bullets.
Adrenaline was now pumping through her veins, and although she found the fight exhilarating she did not show any trace of joy in her face- her eyes were sparkling with determination, her facial features completely serious. Perhaps, if she could land a hit on this man, she would show a faint trace of a smile. Perhaps. Right now, though, she was concentrated on the task at hand, seeing as her opponent was tough... good thing she had braced herself for a match such as this.
After she cartwheeled a considerable distance away, a bright light began to swirl around her and the blue-haired Keyblade Master began to glow with a purple light. She had switched into her Spell Weaver command style, and rushed forward to attack. While not a true ranged fighting style, she was able to sling her keyblade at a far enough distance to have enough time (just barely) to react to being hit or shot at. Hovering off the ground a bit, she telekinetically slung her keyblade for a vertical and then a horizontal swipe at Yazoo, and finished the combo by shooting a ball of light at him.
She didn't like being this close, it was risky fighting. Not even looking to see if that blast of light had hit, Aqua launched into another series of cartwheels, hoping to maneuver around him so she could shoot magic at or hit him from behind.

[OOC: Woah! I'm forgetting the time/date. @_@;; Sorry for my lateness. Well, I do still have a day, lol.]
Yazoo watched the girl... roll away. Some times things like these just looked ridiculous, but still worked efficiently. It was so amazing that it could even work. The girl was moving quite an end away. Creating some distance? Well, it seemed odd to him as most Keybladers use their Keyblade, which functions as a sword. So what did the girl have in store for him? Yazoo figured the girl was also a mage and so used spells instead of hacking and slashing.
The girl then stopped and was apparently preparing some sort of spell. As the girl stood there, his arm suddenly caught flames, but when the girl suddenly rushed forward and started hovering. The flames disappeared and Yazoo held his gun a bit further up. Entirely on the defensive he was trying to learn more about her attacks before revealing much of his. She then actually attacked with her Keyblade. The first attack he simply blocked with his gun to see how much strength was put in the attack. However, the next attack he jumped while blocking and used the force behind the Keyblade to throw himself in the air, trying to push the Keyblade away as well.
The ball of light that was then shot at him he threw a firaga at to attempt destroying while using his right arm to shoot at Aqua four bullets. Even seeing she was cartwheeling. He hoped even while doing cartwheels to actually hit her legs or arms. Either worked for him.

Blue eyes widened in shock as she saw mid-cartwheel that Yazoo raised his arm to shoot. She didn't have enough speed to avoid, so Aqua resumed standing on her feet and threw up a barrier, the bullets bouncing off. The blue-haired keybearer hoped the shots would return to the man who shot them, but she really didn't have the time to aim. Due to blocking his attack though, a green glow enveloped her as her Renewal Barrier restored some of her energy. The young woman offered the man an almost playful smile, as if letting him know the worst was yet to come.
Running forward, her pulse roaring in her ears in time with her feet, Aqua used the same combo she did last time, two telepathic slings of her keyblade with a shot of light. This time, though, she was in closer range, not only so she could have a better chance of hitting him, but her next move entailed the Keyblade Master needing to be closer to her opponent.
Just as she finished her combo, a white light swirled around Aqua as she switched command styles... from Spell Weaver to Ghost Drive. She now glowed a bright white as two balls of magic floated around her. Aqua then jumped into the air, propelling herself a short distance by swinging her keyblade, only to disappear in a small flash of light then reappear in the air a few yards away, leaving eerie yet graceful illusions of her frozen in time in her wake. She repeated this process until she was behind Yazoo, and moved in for a physical attack that was empowered by the use of Ghost Drive. Aqua grinned as the air hummed when she swung her keyblade down at him- this particular command style always gave her the feel as if she was flying.
