((OOC: *Blink blink* ... what the hell has just happened?!? O.o On a side note, I still feel like crap so don't expect this post to be good and if I have missed anything or screwed up anywhere, PM me or poke me in your replies ^__^)) So so bored... When was someone going to shut that guy up? Stick a sock in his mouth or cast a spell on him to turn his mouth into a zipper. That would be funny and a thought that indeed amused the Jester as he grinned to himself while still glancing off towards the heart shaped moon, wondering if it tasted of cheese. Perhaps he ought to go back home and fly to the moon there and eat some of that as well. Kefka blinked and pushed himself up from the balcony he was leaning on, turning around to cast his gaze upon the opened doors leading out of Kingdom Hearts, taking note of the now much enlarged populace of the local area. Oh wonderful! More people felt like coming out to play today, which was all good in the Psycho Clown's books. Having to stand here and listen to that Stroud guy waffle on and on would be enough in itself to send him crazy... wait, even more crazy? ... o.o;
Yet truth be told, while gazing upon the heart shaped moon waiting for his enemy to arrive, Kefka has simple stuck his fingers into his ears and was no more aware of what had been said to him. Yet the yell of a small child penetrated the finger blocking technique and thus what caused him to stand up and look around, with the added bonus of seeing all the new faces too. The Jester just tilted his head at the small child with a horn on her head, before raising an eyebrow at her pet. Interesting. Seems there were more Espers he had missed. Perhaps now would be a good time to gather more strength from this monster? It wasn't like the Light were here for him, no? These 'Human Heartless' guys seemed to want all the attention and Kefka was more then willing to let them have it. The only people who died by the Psycho Clown's hand were those who disobeyed him or got in his way. That went for allies too. However the little girl's rant just caused Kefka to tilt his head further, almost comically so that it could just fall off at any moment.
Sadly his head remained fixed to his shoulders and instead, Kefka just crossed his legs over one another and sat down on the ground, before magically levitating back up to standing height. Placing his hands onto his knees, the Jester just smiled at the little girl before eying her beast again. "What's the matter little girl? Forgot where you last saw your mommy and daddy? Didn't they ever tell you not to talk to scary strangers? And what of that creature with you? Aren't you a little small to have toys that big. The thing could roll on you and crush you.... hmm... I wonder what noise you'd make if you were crushed?" The Jester's eyes lit as his dark purple smile spread itself across his face, watching in glee when the little summoner ordered her monster to attack. Yet in the same instant, Kefka seemed to loose complete interest in her and her summon and simply returned the index finger of his right hand into his right ear, wiggling it about as if searching for something in there, pulling an awkward looking face as he did so. As the Terra Homing attack drew near, the Psycho Clown glancing upwards to see the rather impressive light display drawing closer and closer. Kefka just chuckled and placed his free hand into his lap and waited. He was the God of Magic. In his eyes, there was nobody else alive in existence that could use magic more effectively then he could. So he simply remained seated where he was and allowed Terra Homing to hit him.
The beams of holy light sliced away at the balcony on which he hovered and destroyed any ground on which he could physically stand. Not to mention that the attack actually packed a lot more punch then he imagined. Though most of the light seemed to miss him, the Psycho Clown wasn't expecting the light to envelop and enclose around him, shrinking down into a ball to leave him with no escape until the attack exploded and spat him out, tumbling through the air slightly until the Jester managed to catch his balance and remain hovering in thin air for a moment. With his finger still in his ear, the Jester blinked a couple of times and looked down at his body, taking note of his now tattered and ruined costume. Kefka groaned, finger still in ear and glanced up at the little girl and her monster. "You know how tough this is to fix?! It's hard enough to find the correct matching patterns in my own world, but finding them here!! The nerve of you to do such a thing!" Indeed, it seemed that the Jester was much more upset about his ruined clothing over the cuts and bruises that now donned his figure.
Pulling his finger out of his ear with a comical 'pop', Kefka's eyes glanced at the gunge left behind and just wrinkled his nose. Standing up and walking through the air until he reached solid ground again, the Jester wiped his finger off on the remaining part of the balcony and then smiled back towards the little girl. "For future reference little one, if you really think you have magical strength that bests my own, you ought to hit me with EVERYTHING you got, right off the bat!!" Kefka said with a dark chuckle, before raising his right arm up over his head, his eyes flashing dangerously as he readied a spell of his own. "Kinda like this!!" Yet before the Psycho Clown had the chance to gather enough energy to cast his Forsaken spell, the figure of a red-haired boy caught his attention and forced him to lower his hand back down to his colourful side. Was this the guy? He seemed to match the description. Tilting his head and then groaning when the newcomer started to speak himself now, to the little girl, Kefka just leaned off to his right, supporting himself on some sort of invisible object and patted at his wide open mouth, yawning in utter boredom.
Standing back up straight when the red-head addressed him directly, Kefka raised an eyebrow and glanced around himself at the word 'guys'. Guys? Unless he was referring to everyone, last time the jester checked, he was just one guy. Technically he could clone himself, but it was more fun to beat people down personally. After the man now known as Felix introduce himself, Kefka nodded and bowed down in respect, getting a slight chill down the back of his pants when Felix's sword whistled over his head. "Oh, the pleasure is all mine!!" Kefka said before jumping up from his bowed position, launching himself into a single back flip and watching as the red-haired male's punch sailed underneath him. "I think you're the guy I want, right? I have something for you!" The Jester spoke up once more, landing back upon his feet after completing his back flip before simply hopping straight up into the air, landing on the end of Felix's leg as he made his kick. Crouching, perched on the end of the red-head's foot, Kefka grinned and pointed to a pocket hidden on his colourful yet ruined attire. "It's not a banana and I'm not happy to see you, but would you like it now?" But it was then that the Clown noticed his new friend was lying down on the floor as if he'd been knocked out. Well, that was an extremely short lived battle. How boring. Now levitating in the same crouched position in thin air, Kefka stood up and looks around, taking note that all the heroes had acted the same way.
Was he too slow? Had the other villains already slaughtered everyone and left? How mean! And here he thought he was going to make some new friends!! Well none of those ignorant guys will be invited to his next tea party that's for darn sure!!! That was when he heard a sound behind him and after slowly turning around to see what was going on, the Psycho Clown found himself in the company of some Heartless. Two Defenders, two Invisibles and four Neo Shadows. Kefka blinked and glanced over his shoulder at the figure of red-headed Felix and little girl Eiko laying down nearby. Kefka just shook his head at the Heartless and smiled at them all. "I'm sorry ladies, but daddy is busy!" A simple swipe of his right hand and four large Blizzaga icicles burst out from the ground beneath the Heartless, impaling two of the Neo Shadows, one Defender and one Invisible, rending the foul, yellow eyed creatures immobile. The remaining four seemed to look at one another nervously before the jester pointed towards the little girl laying down not too far away. "You all stay there and don't come down till you're all dead. As for the other four of you, dinner is over there. Don't play with the red-head until I say so, okay?"

He spurted words and phrases in an accent that would have made Mozart hold his head in shame and scream. How he mutilated words and choked out the most offensive of sayings without remorse! He was worse than Kuja - at least he had the elegance of a tongue and mind behind those cruel blue eyes. This clown... Thing, was just a stupid bully, picking on her age and her stature. A foolish mistake - for she had slain Grand Dragons with those smooth and petite little hands. To underestimate her was to fail, no, to fight her was to fail.
She seemed pleased when Terra Homing stuck and he experienced the full fury of Madeen's proud protection. He wanted him to scream and writhe like the furious insect he was - to see pain slice his face and for her victory to be brought. Yet she was given no such alms. Indeed, he twisted his words in such a way that victory seemed more likely in his palm. He cared more about his clothing - as though the full brunt of the attack had been to blaze across shabby cloth-work rather than discoloured flesh.
She shook her head in frustration, "What's wrong with you?! You big, stupid clown! Your clothes look dumb anyway - maybe after you run away you can get something to make you look less like oglop pudding!" [/b] That was a pretty shoddy insult actually, considering oglop pudding could taste quite nice if done properly... Still! It looked and sounded gross - and that was all that mattered!
She almost tore the interesting looking red head in two when she heard his words wash over her. She turned to him instead, eyes flashing and filled with intense fire as she fixed him the most provocative glare she could muster. "That is no way to talk to a lady!"[/b] Really, it probably was - but who did she think she was? Some little princess who had been locked up in a tower all of her life? No! She was the bloom of the desert, she was honeysuckle and cacti, wheat and flour! "Especially one who is a lot more useful than you,"[/b] she commented after Kefka dodged his attack.
She turned her head upwards, listening to Stroud ramble on some more. Still, she stifled a giggle in the form of a small smirk when he turned his tongue towards the clown, scolding his incredulous appearance and berating him. Ha. Jester-boy wasn't even a good bad guy. She felt a sense of pride for a moment, almost able to relate to Stroud - until she remembered her loyalties and the hate seeped through instead.
Cycles of light and dark were spoken of again, and she rolled her eyes. How blinded could he be? What had vexed him so to lead him on this path? Where was his soul beneath all the babbling that sounded like it should belong to a heretic screaming of the end of the world?
He was arrogant, so assured in his own abilities. He was wrong. Hope did exist. She felt it plume within her stomach and burn up her lungs with a passionate intensity, a desire to survive, a need to fight for those she had left behind. Yet she could not be assured of victory, though her heart and mind would leap to that confusion in a spurt of her own wild-fire personality. She was full of confidence and her face spelled that out - yet beneath the surface was the fear. It was the fear that was hope. Ultima still burned beneath her flesh, though the pain had become more dulled and muted...
She felt weary and sick, green eyes flitting across the battlefield. W.. What, no! She couldn't sleep now, couldn't... Couldn't... Couldn't? Black swept across her eyes, drowning out the world. She felt her body slip, slowly, oh, ever so slowly floating down towards a small platform illuminated in the black. She felt nothing apart from a euphoria of calm lapping in her soul. Her shoulders completely relaxed as she came closer to the earth, all her troubles gone for a moment in the sea of black.
She had felt this before when she had died. Was this death yet again? Would she wake up on some floaty, heavenly plane to see Necron shining in the skies? After the sea of calm parted would an all consuming gorge of human souls stare up at her - screaming for retribution?
No. She awoke on a little circle, a pool of desert sand. All around her circle was a low wall. She blinked, still hazy from her fall. Pushing herself up, she shook sand from her hair and brushed it from her body. Blinking, she examined each of the murals upon the wall - great paintings of the people she treasured most in her heart. Grandpa was the dominant figure, his old face weathered and jovial as she had always remembered it. Her mother - her real mother - was there too, her haunting eyes caught perfectly in the painting. She touched the wall, wishing so hard to brush her mothers white blonde hair and embrace her grandpa through the stone. Their paintings were chalky and faded, they were not of this world any longer.
Mother and Father - Cid and Hilda, sat there too, proud smiles etched on their faces. Yet with the boldest colours of all and brilliantly decorated where the paintings of her friends - of Zidane with his cheesy grin, of Dagger with Alexander cupped in one hand and Alexandria in the other, of Steiner with his sword gleaming in the sun, of Freya in the sky and a tear in her eye, of Amarant with his great big fists and hidden face, of Quina... Well, just being Quina. Then there was Vivi, turned away from her, staring out into the wall - painted in the same way as her grandpa and her mother.
Her fingers scrabbled on that painting, the words of his letter gushing out again over and over in her head. Black mage village rose and fell with that sad, lonely image of a single mage staring over the graveyard as every single one of his friends wound down to die.
Vivi was not dead. Vivi was dead. The statements revolved in her head, but she supposed this painting revealed which answer was in her heart. She swallowed back her tears and her guilt, a sombre expression drawn on her face.
Where was she? She was inside her heart. That, that was the natural answer that randomly sprung to mind - but what the hell did that mean?
She didn't have time to ponder, her head suddenly snapping up in fear as she heart and saw eyes in the darkness. Round eyes, beautiful, lantern eyes. Like little black mages, she thought, but those eyes had a dull malice.
Pure emotion assailed through her body, and all her angst and love and anger and old wounds split open and closed again, screaming and palpating over her body till finally the pure and raw emotion tangled with her flesh and leaked out from her soul. Her body glowed pure white, her mop of purple hair emblazoned in green and blonde as the horn upon her head grew longer and turned azure. The toy wings on her back became larger and seemed almost real - she felt as though they were real, for she felt she was floating upon the earth itself.
There was no kindness in those creature's eyes, no warmth of a soul to kindle her dying flame. Her angst and frustration amounted to her raising her flute, preparing a spell to smite the damned things - when suddenly they froze in place.
She could not have done that - no, she knew only one person who could do that. Hope sprung in her eyes, yet then that annoying voice broke it in two. That clown again... What was he doing in her heart? She didn't care for him, he was just a stupid, arrogant, retarded parrot. She'd rather have the monsters.
Shaking her head and gritting her teeth, she rose her flute to her mouth. She needed time to heal, time that the clown had just given her. Ha. What a moron. A sweet song poured out from the Hamelin, and bright green and white spilled over her flesh. She tasted honey in her mouth and felt like a thousand kisses had just swelled inside her aching body. She had not realized how deeply her insides had been hurt until the pain simply ebbed away. She sighed deeply, the curaga working its magic deep inside.
Yet then she heard the clowns shrill voice again. Her eyes widened at her mistake - she had been unaware that some of the creatures had not been entombed by his magic. She raised a finger to her lips, lips tightening in determination and resolve. She decided it would be best to deal with the weaker monsters first, and rose again the flute to her lips. Glancing over to her red-haired ally, who was a quite a few yards away on his own platform in the darkness, she vowed to protect him along with herself - but first she had to concentrate on saving her own skin, considering the clown would rather see her done away with.
"Go back to entertaining your fat, ugly old queen instead of playing games with little girls!"[/b] she shouted in spite towards the clown.
The creatures seemed like they would be physical attackers, judging by the Neoshadow's lurching motions and sharp looking claws. She called forth all the devotion in her soul, and a bright yellow light was cast over the glow from her trance. A transparent shield also formed in the air, though it vanished from human eyes soon after. She felt impervious, strong enough to face whatever blows the creatures might try and strike her down with.
-- Cooldowns
- Summoning - 1 turn
- Madeen - 5 turns
- Curaga - 3 turns
- Protect - 3 turns
- Trance - 10 turns
Status Effects[/b]
Trance - Will last for another 2 turns. She is then able to cast two white magic spells in a single turn, mirroring Vivi's double black trance. This lasts 3 turns and overrides any cool downs on her white magic (not summons).
Protect - Another 1 turn - Protects one ally against physical damage for 2 turns - halving it's effectiveness. [/size]

Ferser's patience was running short. He was just itching for a fight and a battle at this point. But Stroud just kept on talking and talking. Sure, Stroud might be the leader of this whole plan an all of that, but did that really mean that he got to talk almost nonstop about all of this rather boring stuff. Though Ferser's interest did increase at Stroud's insult to Kefka. He snickered a bit, his sick and slightly childlike side finding that funny. Stroud did have a point, this was a pretty accurate description of the...er, clown thing? If Ferser wasn't so eager and anxious for battle, he probably would have spent some time insulting the clown-like guy as well, despite the fact that they were on the same side. Ferser didn't see any sort of sides, he only saw himself. He didn't think he needed a team, due to the fact that he was extremely arrogant and overconfident. Hell, if he wanted to, he could take all of these guys down in a second...but that wouldn't be very fun. He wanted to make it more of a game. He did enjoy games...
Ferser huffed in annoyance as his kunai throw was unsuccessful. Well, at least he had plenty more to use. But maybe those could be saved for later. The poison would only slow them down, and the Heartless was curious to see what they could do on their own with just basic combat. Ferser drew his sword out, and was just about to bring it down on Terra for an attack, but then some blue-haired girl rushed over to his side. He raised an eyebrow to this, a bit curious to see just what this girl was going to be doing. Girls in battle were always interesting to fight. And as Ferser loved to torture, he loved the screams of women over those of men. They just showed so much more emotion, and sounded so much more beautiful. Ferser wondered just how this girl screamed, hoping to hear that beautiful sound of her crying out due to her suffering. Well, there was only way to find out. But of course, she had to make a typical 'hero', or heroine in her case, type speech. Ferser let out an aggravated sigh. Did EVERYONG have to say something? What the hell happened to just shutting up and giving one intense fight?
"You're right girl, maybe I don't play by the rules. But rules in games just ruin everything. I'm just looking to have a good time." Ferser smirked at her next comment. "Take us both down, huh? I'll take you and your little boyfriend down on my own before you even have the chance!" Ferser cried out, drawing his sword. He started to charge toward the blue-haired girl with a lot of force, but the stupid girl beat him to it. She seemed to be in some sort of weird...mode thing. And it seemed like her strength, speed, magic use, pretty much everything that was helpful in battle, was increased like this. Well, that would certainly make the fight a bit more interesting. Though Ferser had his doubts that she would maintain this strength for too long. At least he'd get a hell of a fight for a little bit.
Ferser was able to match his blade with her own during her three-hit combo attack. He smirked proudly as he was able to due it, but his over confidence ended up harming him, as to be expected, taking the next attack by her full on. Ferser winced in pain a bit, before he let out a sick, sinister laugh. It felt so good...it had been some time since she felt the pain like this. "Is that all you've got, girl? That did nothing but merely tickle me. You won't be taking me down with little cheap shots like that!" Ferser paused in speaking, attempting to strike down on her with his sword, preferring to start with some basic combat before he decided to use more techniques. But attacking just with his weapon was actually the spot where Ferser thrived the most, along with his use of different types of poison. He smirked at the girl. "Give me a real fight, girl!" He spat at her, trying to tempt her to want to fight more. Ferser was eager to see just what this girl could do.
The next part left Ferser feeling rather confused. He blinked, looking as the girl sort of just...collapsed. Was the attack he used really that devastating? He didn't think so. Maybe she was just weak? But after a moment, his vision was adjusted to see the Station of Awakening within the girl's heart. So this is what was most sacred to her withing her heart, huh? Well, it would certainly be fun to take it all away. Ferser waved his hand, summoning some little 'friends' for the young girl to play with. While he did like fighting, watching them was pleasing as well, though not as much. He was always up for a good show. Within the next moment, a Invisible Heartless appeared, two Novashadows, and two Guardians all appeared simultaneously, all summoned by Ferser to 'play' with Aqua. They all circled around her, awaiting orders.
"Let the girl have the first move. It is only fair for ladies to go first. But that doesn't mean hold back. Just be sure to give me one hell of a show!" Ferser instructed the Heartless.

Adrenaline pumped through her veins as the battle for Kingdom Hearts went into full swing. The final allies and enemies had arrived- the nine people who would determine the outcome of the universe... and Aqua was determined for that outcome to be a good one. All the people of the worlds- her friends, the innocents, even those who dabbled in darkness- were depending on the Light to bring justice today.
Her cerulean eyes shifted onto those who had come to help- there was that red-headed man she saw from that battle on Destiny Islands and... a person in a black cloak, very similar to the one the other red-headed man wore. Aqua was unsure of whether this was a friend or a foe until Destiny's Embrace was summoned, and the blue-haired Keyblade Master instantly knew that this person was Kairi. Not only did she know that this was the keyblade Kairi wielded after seeing it during the Mark of Mastery exam, but Aqua had been able to use it herself by obtaining the keychain after they had met so long ago... and after Aqua accidentally performed the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony with her. Giving Kairi the burden of saving the worlds and not being there to take her on as an apprentice were just two of many things that Aqua felt guilty about. She was glad to see that Kairi seemed to take it in stride, smiling as she saw the red-headed girl launch into battle.
That smile quickly faded as Aqua realized Kairi was charging at her.
What the...?! Aqua thought as Kairi shot an arc of light at her. Fortunately, since it was a ranged attack, this gave Aqua enough time to dodge it. Unfortunately, this also meant that she had to quickly come up with a plan to take on Ferser and Kairi at once... and the idea of fighting Kairi was bad enough. Aqua clenched her keyblade in frustration- why did she always end up fighting her friends?! First Ven, then Terra, and now Kairi?! It made her sick that she had to turn a weapon whose purpose was to save her friends against them.
Like the other two instances, this fight seemed unavoidable... Aqua prepared to swing her keyblade in Kairi's direction for another combo to counter hers, but that was when Kairi said her name slowly in a zombie-esque manner. Alarm bells went off inside Aqua's head; this was just like her fights with her friends- when they were being controlled. She hoped it was so, and that Kairi really wouldn't help beings as evil as the Heartless Horsemen.
It was also around this time Axel stepped in to block her attack.
Clearly, there was animosity between them, and while Aqua was thankful to have Kairi's combo blocked, she bit her lip in worry that the red-headed, black-cloaked man would really hurt her. His first attack missed- so perhaps he had the same intention she did? Most likely not.
Before Aqua could say or do anything, though, Ferser began to address her. She hissed out of anger and the magical purple-pink aura around her seemed to pulsate with her emotions- he thought that destroying the universe by whatever means possible was the ideal "good time"? The Horsemen's reign would end today. It had to. There was no way she would let monsters such as these run about. As for his taunting, it was almost as if he knew she was easily flustered, but today Aqua would not let that hinder her.
She felt satisfaction as one of her slings from her combo landed a hit, although that was dashed to pieces as he called her long-range shots "cheap". So he wanted a real fight? Aqua raised her hand to let loose another combo and then the finisher of her Spell Weaver form, but not before Ferser had managed to rush in and slam his sword into her armor, denting it as it made the high-pitched shriek of metal hitting metal. Stumbling back, Aqua twisted her torso to give her swing more momentum, but mid-swing the ground seemed to give way...
And she was falling, falling, falling...
Her blue hair whipped around her face as she fell through the dark depths, her eyes dazed as she looked around and noticed keyblades falling with her. Rainfell, Stormfall, Brightcrest, all variants were there, she noted, as she twisted herself around like a cat so she wasn't falling in a position to land on her back. Instead, she was now head first and could see her Station of Calling- how long had it been since she'd been here? A good while was the obvious answer, as it had changed so much- although she was glad to see that her outer tiles on the rim were still those of her Wayfinder and the Mastery symbol alternating. She took up the center of the circle, eyes closed and hand over her heart- a motion she usually did when she was particularly anxious. To her left, the panels making up the background depicted the Land of Departure, and also on that side were Terra, Ven and Eraqus's silhouettes in small gray circles. On her right, the background depicted was Castle Oblivion, and the silhouettes on that side were of Sora and Kairi, respectively. Past generation, and future... and Aqua, who longed for things to return to as they once were, looked at Castle Oblivion on the right side and knew they never could.
Landing on her feet gracefully, Aqua quickly summoned Stormfall to her side, as she knew that most visits to the Station of Calling were accompanied by a battle. Why was she here, though? The words and actions of Stroud had been unheeded by Aqua as she attempted to take on Kairi and Ferser at once.
Her question was soon answered by the Heartless that had appeared. She could have laughed. She had spent over ten years with these creatures- they were there, at every corner of the Dark Realm, just waiting to strike. Now they were here in her own heart, far less in number than she saw in the Realm of Darkness. When she was in that godforsaken realm, she had been the intruder. This time, it was the other way around- and after seeing those yellow eyes stare at her out of the inky blackness day after day, year after year, Aqua was completely unfazed. She could survive this and defeat the Horsemen!
Aqua was glad to find that her time for her Spell Weaver command style was not completely up. In a quick rush, she let out a furious three-hit combo at the Invisible and two Novashadows that would have been aimed at Ferser if she hadn't been sent here. After alternating her hits, she jumped into the air to sling her keyblade at the Guardians. These combos, she knew, simply wouldn't do. She was surrounded, however, she knew from experience that her final move of Spell Weaver was great for "crowd control", so to speak.
The aura around her glowing brightly, Aqua held her keyblade high into the air and spun on the point of her metal shoes quickly as a bright vortex of magic surrounded her. She pirouetted around her Station of Calling, sweeping up the Heartless in her way. Spell Weaver: 3 cooldown

This all felt so horribly wrong.
The hissing whistle of air being pierced met her ears, and her blank eyes widened a fraction at the familiar chakram that had blocked her attack. Oceanic eyes stared at the attacker, and she could see the same cloak that she wore, and the spiked red hair of the one Nobody that had perhaps left the biggest impression upon her. Someone she considered a friend in her heart, even if said heart was being chained down from what she really wished to do. Kairi had always wanted to become stronger for Sora and Riku, to show them that they did not always have to protect her, and that she could protect her best friends, too. It had not bothered her before, after she lost her heart, but the promise of waiting had made her melancholy over that year. Forgetting Sora, and not even seeing Riku after he had been locked on the other side of Kingdom Hearts. And then Axel had come, offering a way out, even if it had been for his own desire to see his best friend. Kairi could empathize with that, even when he had planned on using her to make Sora release his heart to get back Roxas. He had apologized for his action of kidnapping her, and there was no ill will against him. The Princess just wished she could control her body, and that her mind and heart were not being pulled into the darkness of her subconscious.
Hooded eyes flickered to Aqua briefly, seeing that she had managed to block her attack, but she felt the faint shadows of relief. She did not want to hurt anyone, and it hurt her that she was being used like this again. Her fingers dug into the hilt of her keyblade tightly, and she looked up at Axel with faint remorse and apology. No doubt he was confused as to why she was fighting, but this was not her doing! No, Kairi had to blame herself for letting herself be tricked and contained by the horrible jester. She just hoped she could overcome this, or have someone rip the cursed device from her head. Everyone else around her dissolved as she looked to her almost-friend. Kairi flinched at his shout, the words cutting at her more than anything else. The apology bubbled against her lips, but died down as the slave crown forced her mind back. Kairi merely glanced up at him from beneath her hood, raising Destiny's Embrace toward the fire starter. 'I'm sorry, Axel. This isn't me!' Before she could even attempt to attack him, reality suddenly shattered around her. Eyes widened, and darkness soon surrounded her as she fell. It was familiar to her, and she allowed the comforting ocean of darkness carry her toward the speck of light that illuminated the platform beneath her.
Her hood fell back, auburn strands floating free with the lack of the confines of the hood. Kairi flipped herself into a standing position, and her heeled boots touched the familiar platform with a dull thud. Blank eyes stared at her platform, not sure what to make of this sudden change in scenery. Of course, she was not alone either. The Princess glanced up through the fringe of her bangs, the silver collar glinting as she tilted her head upward. There was Axel, following after her into the darkness. How was that possible? Was this her platform, or merely a manifestation, because it did not quite feel like her heart. Inhaling deeply, she raised the keyblade toward the male again, though with obvious hesitance and anxiety. Kairi had no wish to fight Axel, because he was someone she did care for. Someone she could understand, and remember vaguely from a long, long time ago. Memories of her lost childhood? 'I don't know...' The thoughts soon flickered away, and the Princess darted to him with a halfhearted attempt to attack him. Her heart just was not in it, and Kairi prayed that Axel realized this was not of her doing.
Thundaga cracked along her keyblade, and she released the magic at her target, but not with her entire energy behind it. A feeble attempt, but Kairi was adamant she had at least some control over herself, even if it was feeble at best.
Thundaga: Two post cooldown.

And so the battle raged on, all the combatants on the battlefield all fighting for something important to them whether it was to protect someone, to destroy everything, to serve their own self-righteous agenda, or because being evil was the cool thing to do. The freelancer that was attacking Kefka on the other hand (unsuccessfully I might add) was doing it for thrills, enjoying every second that the Grim Reaper loomed closer and his breath got heavier upon his neck. During his altercation with the clown though, Felix was given another reason to fight, a much more yellow and far more interesting reason to fight. As the clown had stated, it wasn’t a banana or any other fruit but was in fact a certain resource that Felix could never turn down… munny. His eyes widened a tad at the prospect, a little surprised that the clown actually knew of his work and what language he spoke… the language of cash.
A small smile curved against his lips at the idea but before he could answer to the proposal the world around him suddenly changed as he was falling down what seemed to be an endless abyss. Without warning though, the surroundings began to paint themselves a green color as dollar signs went down in a spiraling pattern. Amongst those signs were several things, all objects something Felix wished to have. Among them was a decked out Gummi Ship with a coffee machine inside (exclusively for Hazelnut Coffee), professionally made suits tailored to fit him perfectly, the latest and greatest in smartphone technology, and many other materialistic things that all made Felix smile inside but curse his financial situation.
As he continued further down though, the walls would change again as they started to turn more crimson in hue as the images also changed. Instead of dollar signs spiraling downward, skulls and crossbones replaced them. Amongst the skulls were depictions of him fighting many of his past opponents, all ones that put his life in jeopardy. The first was when he was but a teenager, when he had passed by a girl being attacked by two Shadow Heartless. While it hadn’t been much of a fight (he got his arse kicked), it had been his first time experiencing the thrill of mortal danger. The second was with his father, the two having fought to a standstill but with blows powered by Mass Manipulator, blows that could easily kill if careless. The third was when he had fought on Destiny Islands with a few other heroes and had taken care of a silver haired freak of nature. The fourth and last notable one, was his fight in the cave with a throng of Heartless in the Dark Depths where he had fought alongside two “powerful” keybladers. While many other fights were present on this reel of his life as a freelancer, those ones were the most exciting and had probably shortened his lifespan considerably.
Regardless, his feet finally touched the ground as the walls went back to dark, the ground beneath him now changing. On the right side of the circle he stood on, an image of him standing in a suit constructed itself, his hands fanning a fat stack of bills as he leaned against what seemed to be an invisible wall, a cocky smirk curved against his lips. Meanwhile, the left side created an image dressed in his current attire, a creepy grin on his face as opposed to the smirk on the other side. He leaned against an invisible wall here as well, facing the other image. In his hands his katana was slowly created, the blade resting dangerously close to his neck as if contemplating the suicide. Yet the intended message of this image did not pass Felix’ head, it symbolized his addiction to near-death experiences while the other side showed his adoration of money. This was only further enhanced as the same skull and crossbones combo floated above his head on the left side while the dollar sign appeared on the right side. Slowly more intricate patterns filled in the rest of the circle, Felix sighing lightly as he didn’t bother to pay attention to them and rather at what was going on.
“So first I’m fighting a clown, about to bargain with him, and now I’m dreaming?” he asked himself as he pinched himself roughly. A small yelp later, he confirmed he wasn’t dreaming and by extension not dead. He was surprised to see that nothing was coming after him though; no Heartless or the clown to greet him was questionable. He was sure that this was happening to everyone, basing this off the statement the “Boss” had mentioned earlier about controlling all hearts or something. But then why was he just standing here with nothing threatening him whatsoever? Did they forget that he was among the warriors of Light or was there a different reason?
“Either way it gives me time to think about what to do when I get out of here,” he spoke to himself as his thoughts traveled back to the clown’s offer. He wasn’t sure how much money the clown had been offering him in that pocket of his, but the freelancer felt fairly certain it was a hefty sum. After all, if the clown wanted to hire him to “betray” the Light and give the Dark a helping hand, his services wouldn’t come cheap. Not only that, but if the clown was satisfied with the job he performed (utterly decimating anyone fighting for good), trying to stiff him would just mean him not taking any future jobs and possibly attacking him soon after. No, the deal seemed fairly solid aside from any guarantee of money, but that was something he could collect with force if necessary. What bothered him about the ordeal though was if he were to fight the Light his original purpose of coming to this fight would be lost. Indeed, fighting “heroes” was less interesting since they tended to shy away from striking fatal blows. Without any sense of danger, that high he was getting would fade away fairly quick and more importantly… getting with that blue-haired chick would probably be out of the question.
“Really wish I had had some fun with her before possibly ruining any chances I got with her since I’m sure she’s not into 'bad boys',” he complained to no one in particular, just venting out frustration. He sighed lightly as his free left hand face palmed before running through his hair,
“And now I choose… money or my drug? Decked out Gummi Ship or hooking up with that blue-haired chick? New smartphone or being shunned by several people after I crush any hope of a victory from the good guys?” he once again began questioning as he heaved heavily. He soon squatted down, his eyes traveling to the right sided image representing greed, “Money…” he started as he turned to the left image representing wrath, “or compulsive need for life or death situations?” he finished as he scratched his head in thought thinking back to the beginning. What had he truly got into his wor- no this life of a freelancer for? What was the most important thing to him above all else? And that was all he needed to make up his mind, a smirk curving against the freelancer’s lips as the image beneath him changed once more, now taking the properties of just one image.
“Heh the answer is obvious isn’t it?”

(OOC: Alright, this should be the last post I should be able to make this round, unless we post quickly, so everyone feel free to have the first half of your post responding to the Dive to the Heart/Heartless if you did not get a chance to in the last round already. Not everyone seemed to go along with the Dive to the Heart phase, but that may be the only round of that phase, but I hope everyone had fun with it.)
The Invisible Heartless buckled backwards as Terra slashed into it, shaking itself off, but not before the keyblader hooked a Neoshadow Heartless on the end of his keyblade and threw it into the sword-wielding Heartless, destroying both. The powerful end of Terra's combo also powerfully destroyed both Defenders, leaving only the Neoshadow as the surviving Heartless. It dived into a pool into the ground, but instead of attacking Terra, it abruptly fled. This was because moments later, Terra's platform would instantly shatter as all the keyblades he had collected in his journey would rain down around him, like the fragile stain glass it was decorated after. This would signify the end of the Dive to the Heart as Terra plunged into the darkness, awakening back into the battle in the Endless Abyss, at the same time the other warriors of Light would.
Stroud grimaced darkly as he stood triumphantly over Terra, his figure being the first thing he would see after opening his eyes. The tyranical Heartless would have been expected of his character to greet them all with a speech. But he was all out of speeches, and had something much more devious for the 'good' guys instead. "Speech this!" he humored anatagonistically, holding back his sword behind his head, as a dark golden aura ignited the blade. It looked like he was about to unleash an attack, but in reality he was using an ability to charge for one instead as a fake-out. Slash-All would come into effect, and now Stroud would be able to strike all the heroes at once. A dark chuckle escaped from his pale lips as he looked at Terra and the awakening champions of the Light.
The gold aura burning like a brilliant fire burst into a bright light at the completion of the first technique, quickly followed by the charging of the second. This time a black fire as black as the endless abyss beneath them engulfed the blade, as Stroud concentrated, open to attack for only a small moment in time. "Let's see... who wants to die first?" he sinisterly tormented the supposed saviors of Kingdom Hearts, and then attempted to slash the sword downwards in one, clean motion. If successful, Reaper would form a black fiery sword identical to Stroud's before all of his opponents, slashing down on them and reducing their health to a critical state. Most of them would still be getting their senses coming out of their Dive Into The Heart, giving him enough time to charge, and giving his group the time they needed to clear their heads coming out of invading their opponent's hearts too.
"When I heave taken your hearts, that boy that saved the worlds from Xehanort twice before... his world will be the first to be destroyed." he added in spiteful mirth, tormenting the Light to attack him with what pathetic power they still held left.

The battle against the legion of random Heartless certainly wouldn’t last long. Terra was on the top of his game now, and it actually appeared as if the last Neoshadow would retreat into his namesake. He desperately wanted to get out of the stained-glass station and resume his combat with Stroud, leader of the Horsemen. He had to stop the tyrant, no matter what the cost.
”You too afraid to fight me yourself?! Are you just going to send more Heartless?!”[/b]
The platform shattered before another word could be spoken, and Terra found himself falling amidst a torrent of keyblades. He looked to see both Darkgnaw and Chaos Ripper in his direct line of sight. With Ends of the Earth clinched to the point of apparent white knuckles, Terra knew what was coming; he was being brought back to Stroud to finish their fight.
As if he’d been unconscious for a week, Terra awoke amongst his allies in a startled gasp for air. The first thing he saw was the menacing glare of Stroud standing over him. So far, the only attack Stroud had managed to hit him with was a head butt, and Terra felt lucky the Heartless commander had only been able to accomplish that feat. The enemy looked determined and the allies around him all seemed to have the same plight. They all were waking from a similar unconscious battle, it appeared, and their enemies were standing tall, waiting to attack them in their moment of plight.
He noticed a definite key departure amongst the fallen allies. The red-haired man, whom he could have sworn was called Axel, had disappeared whilst they under Stroud’s spell. The stakes were now even with himself, Aqua, the little girl, and Felix, his former ally taking on Stroud, Ferser, the clown, and a young girl with a surprisingly pure heart.
Speech this!
So, even in his unconscious state, the powerful Heartless could hear his insults. Good. Terra wanted to defeat the Heartless, and, in order to do that, he would need the villain to fight him at his full strength. His sword took on a blue glow, but that attack was not actually an attack at all. Was it merely a distraction, or was it an ability? It was definitely an ability.
The next thing the bronze keyblader would see was a black sword hanging over his head. He was still trying to come to his senses after waking from that small skirmish! How was he supposed to block this?! That’s just it: he wasn’t. Terra was supposed to lose himself to that attack, but he wouldn’t have it. He summoned Ends of the Earth in an attempt to block the slash. That would prove mostly successful with roughly half of his health leaving his body from pure impact. Okay, this guy was definitely the leader. Terra wouldn’t have been surprised if he could topple an army…of people that weren’t determined to destroy the Heartless commander-in-chief.
When I have taken your hearts, that boy that saved the worlds from Xehanort twice before... his world will be the first to be destroyed.
Terra had his chance to strike with everything he had left, which was still quite a bit. He rolled to the side as he keyblade disappeared in a flash of white light. When he took a vertical stance, the keyblade reappeared, but it wasn’t your normal hilt and blade anymore. Instead, Ends of the Earth had taken form of a massive barrel with his hand clinched around a trigger.
A massive round of ammunition formed deep inside the barrel and Terra immediately plunged his finger into the trigger to release the blast at a near-point-blank range. This was the Heartless’s own fault for deciding to stand so close to the person who may even be responsible for Xehanort’s two campaigns against the world as a Heartless and Nobody. He didn’t speak to Stroud until he’d released a second blast from the barrel of his Ultima Cannon.
”You have to defeat me, before you can get to Sora.”[/b]

((ooc - So lame. I have 0% muse. >>)) Kefka blinked a couple of times as the sound of solidifying ice reached his ears. The course was obvious, for it was coming from his own spell which had impaled four of the eight Heartless that were randomly summoned to him just a moment ago. Turning around to look upon the four unusual monsters helplessly dangling from the large shards of ice, the Psycho Clown just grinned, his purple lips reaching from ear to ear as he enjoyed the view. "Such fearsome monsters... feared and avoided by the humans with Hearts... and here you are completely defenseless against me. And that isn't even a particularly powerful spell.... Pathetic. I ought to recreated my guardian... bring Ultima Weapon back and have him destroy everything. These fools aren't even worth the effort..." Kefka said to himself mostly, turning his back upon the four impaled Heartless and returned his attention back towards the four who were still living, all of them taking steady steps away from the Clown in case they suffered the same fate. Raising up his right hand, the Jester pointed a long bony finger in Eiko's direction. "I thought I told you that dinner was over there!! Now go and eat up of you too will end up on ice spikes!!"
With that said and done, the Heartless all vanished into dark pools of... whatever they disappear into and reemerged on the same platform that Eiko was on. Two Neo Shadows appeared first, both of them leaping up into the air to try and fall down upon the small girl, their clawed hands swinging about wildly to try and score a hit. Then the Defender appeared, it's massive Lion Shield raised up before itself to protect it from anything coming it's way, while steadily taking a few small steps forwards towards Eiko. Finally the Invisible arrived, easily the strongest physically out of the three. With sword in hand, the yellow eyed monster hovered in the air for a while waiting for a chance to move in and strike.
Meanwhile, Kefka raised a hand up to his brow and looked around. That Felix kid with the red hair wasn't too far away and he seemed to be off in his own place for the time being. Now would be as good a chance as any then to get this over with. Throwing his hand across himself, the Jester summoned a Dark Portal, the exit appearing a short distance away from Felix. After hopping through, the Psycho Clown looked the boy up and down a couple of times before raising an eyebrow. "You don't look like much. You sure you're the one I was referred to? Hmph... Doesn't matter. You look the gullible type so have this and make yourself useful, eh?" Kefka said, his tone carrying a hint of disappointment within it. Digging a hand into a pocket hidden somewhere on his attire, the Jester pulled out a bag with seemed to jingle with a lovely, golden, money-like sound. Of course, Kefka had no need for money, or munny and so decided this lad might have better use for it. "Here, this is what you want, eh? Now make yourself useful." The Psycho Clown tossed the bag to Felix's feet, the cord wrapped around the top slipping loose and a handful of Munny falling from it.
Taking a second or two to continue staring at the red-head, Kefka soon turned away and looked up into the darkness that was the sky and pondered for a moment. Something didn't feel right... someone was trying to break free. This was not acceptable!! Throwing open a second Dark Portal, Kefka quickly disappeared once more, leaving Felix and the winged girl alone for now. The howling of a Dark Portal ripped open in the same area as Kairi was, doing her battle with Aqua. Hopping through and sealing the Portal behind him, Kefka glanced first towards Aqua and her blue hair and raised an eyebrow. Yes, he remembered seeing her just before this whole war kicked off. Then peering towards Kairi, Kefka just frowned and shook his head before hopping over towards her, his shoes carrying out their musical tone as he moved. "HEY!!" Kefka screamed. "Stop trying to fight it and just KILL EVERYONE!!! You cannot escape from that Slave Crown so just fight and kill everyone who opposes the Darkness!!" The Psycho Clown lifted up both his arms and pointed his fingers towards Kairi's forehead, attempting to strengthen the magic that was bound to the Slave Crown. In short, it would feel like Kairi's head was getting crushed, her mind being erased and replaced with the desire to hurt people. That is if it worked. Kefka was the God of Magic, but these Keybarers were something else.

Ferser wasn't too sure how much he liked the idea of other creatures doing his bidding for him. He didn't think that simple Heartless, no matterhow many of them there were, would do quite the job that he could do. But of course, they were just following Stroud's plan. It seemed like they always did things his way...if Ferser called the shots, things would be different, that's for sure. He just wanted to spread and cause the violence, cause pain and suffering for all, let the Darkness and the chaos reign supreme...that was what Ferser wanted to happen in the worlds. And he figured that this would be the first step. If he could cause all of that to happen to this one girl, that would be enough to satisfy his craving...well, for now at least. He knew that his desire for this would never be completely full. If anything, it would just continue to grow and get larger, and would become more difficult to satisfy. But Ferser didn't care...he'd kill hundreds, thousands! Anything to satisfy this overwhelming craving...
Ferser waited for the girl to show up, looking relieved once she finally did. He could see the ones that the young girl held dear to her while within here. Ferser took a mental note of these people, knowing that he would have to crush them as well, once he was done with the girl. He couldn't let her remain happy. She had picked a fight with him, and now it was time for her to realize just how foolish of a choice that was. There was no way that some 'little girl' like her was going to beat him, Ferser the Torturer. So what if she had the keylade...Ferser had seen that weapon when he fought that Sora kid back at Disney Castle. And it wasn't really THAT powerful. It was just another weapon. To Ferser, the strength of the weapon wasn't the big deal...it was about the person who wielded it. He could make his own simple sword hold its own against a keyblade like hers because of HIS strength. Not the weapons. But it wasn't his time yet...it was the Heartless' time first.
Meanwhile, the small group of Heartless was following Ferser's orders, waiting for Aqua to strike first. It was polite to let the lady go first, after all. What, Heartless couldn't be chivalrous? Either way, when Aqua aimed her three-hit combo at the Invisible and Novashadows, it was a direct hit. They hissed in pain at this. The Invisible was the first to attempt an attack, trying to strike the blue-haired girl with its sword. Before the Novashadows had there chance, they fell victim to the little 'finale' of Aqua's spell, both of the Novashadows actually disappearing due to these two hits in a row, but the Invisible was still able to hold his own. Ferser was far from satisfied witht his. Those stupid Heartless died from two cheap shots like that!? He let out a low growl. "You die from THAT!? You good for nothing pieces of-" Ferser paused before finishing this sentence. Yelling wasn't going to do much of anything. He had to just shut up and let them start attacking already. "Nevermind, just hurry up and attack the girl! Before I come in and finish ALL of you." Ferser warned sternly. If any Heartless couldn't serve him properly, they just deserved to be eliminated. He would much rather handle the deed himself, anyway.
The three Heartless that remained knew better than to go against orders, surprisingly able to recognize this for such mindless and stupid creatures. The Guardians finally chose to aim an attack at Aqua, both of them going on one side of her. One took it's turn to fire the long-rayed laser at the keyblader, and the other one mimicked this attack. They couldn't really do much else aside from this, but if contact was able to be made successfully, it was able to create a pretty decent attack. Ferser smirked a bit, looking much more pleased at this. "That's better, much better. But don't end things these! I want to make this girl suffer!" Ferser barked harshly at them, his smirk widening a bit. Things were getting much more interesting, that much he was willing to admit. And with any hope, they would continue to get interesting. After Voting on the winner, we had chosen that the Darkness had won this battle. Four of the staff were exempt from voting so it didn't seem bias. If you disagree with the discussion, please inform Larxene or Selena with a well stated PM listed why you disagree.
The Darkness has kept Kingdom Hearts!
Since Kefka, Stroud, Kairi, and Ferser have won, they are allowed an upgrade of one ability or one modification to their powers and will be notified. Requests are to be PMed to Vincent. Congrats!
