Info: We are a play by post fantasy wolf RP with both an active plot and a sub-plot. The site I'm requesting to affiliate with is version 2 of the forum, so technically this forum has been around since 2006. Our activity has fluctuated lately due to many of our members having mid-terms and exams.
ACTIVE PLOT
It would seem some natural disasters have struck four of our packlands, causing chaos and panic within those packs. What will the Hara'Nor Mountains, Tiberius Swamp, Julikano Rainforest and Hitoshirezo Tendou Tunnels do now that their lands are destroyed or in a constant mode of chaos? Will they relocate? How will the other wolves of other packs accept or reject them, or even react to a group of wolves attempting to join, invade or take over their lands? Is there a reason behind the sudden surge of catastrophic activity or is it just the natural order of things? That's half the packlands that are in chaos, what will the other half do?
SUB-PLOT
Storytellers speak of a world where wolves could breath fire and fly without wings. Where great Deities and Ancestors roamed among them and spoke to a few lucky wolves. They speak of a power hungry tyrant that passed on after the Ancestors left the lands, ashamed of what their powers and mistakes had created. Storytellers pass on the tales of Aelyn, which is where the story of you begins.
Its been several generations since Lucids near take-over of Aelyn. The lands have changed and morphed and nothing seems to be as it was. The old ways have been all but forgotten, falling into legends and fairy tales for stories told to the new generations.
The power given to wolf-kind by the Ancestors has slowly diminished, becoming but a shadow of its former strength, as the Ancestors themselves have faded from memory to become only legends in the eyes of these wolves. Without the belief and thought given to the Ancestors, their hold and touch on the world has been diminished.
The lands themselves have developed a mind of their own, morphing and changing, creating hostile environments to those who are not adapted to live within them, the only "safe" lands being the Loner Lands, if you can call those safe. The eight packlands each hold their own terrors and magnificence as wolves lay claim and undergo the changes necessary to live within the dangerous and deadly terrains.
But what's this? Lingering on the borders are the haunting remains of Aelyn past... literally! Ghosts have begun to be spotted haunting various areas, but the highest concentration seems to be the Ghostlands. Could there be a reason for their appearance or is this just another show of the adaptations that they will have to manage in order to survive.
Despite all this, only one question remains... Are you strong enough to survive?
