The stale air gave the former master's tower a sense of mystery as the keyblader of the light stepped out from inside the now abandoned Mysterious Tower. Many keybladers had passed through these same doors, but Solus wasn't aware of any of that. He merely stumbled upon a small moon-like world circling a large city-like world and thought it might be a good idea to investigate.
The world seemed to appear...different than usual. The grass was beginning to wilt, as if rain hadn't touched this world in well over a week, probably two or three. That made it even more odd because the world looked as if it was cast in an eternal overcast, with no sort of light breaching through the furthest distances. This world seemed very...dark.
Solus would have to change that during his brief stay, but he'd have to find this world's keyhole to do so. Omnis had once told him that a world's heart may be swayed to favor either Light or Darkness, but he didn't explain any further. Naturally, Solus figured it would be accomplished through the keyhole to the world. He only needed to find it.
"This world's keyhole must rest outiside the tower, but where? I couldn't find it inside, even in the master's quarters. It has to be somewhere around here..."
[Short, but I hate starting threads]

The airship that Lucelia and Luca used to travel from world to world rested hidden on the new world known as the Mysterious Tower. Much like the time they went to the End of the World, the twins had come to this place to explore, but more so than that to erase the Darkness that was consuming it. Lucelia followed her brother down the path feeling worried and concerned. Her brother had slipped once more into the dark mode that had surface when they met Yukimura. She had thought the strange personality had been defeated when they had gone to that neutral world known as the Kingdom of Crystals. Back there, he was his old self again. Back to the state he was before the war and then…then that meeting happened and the dark personality sunk back into him.
Since they left that world, Luca had been quiet with a dangerous vibe flowing off of him. He didn’t do anything to hurt her, but she was very certain it wouldn’t take much to trigger an attack, so when they found the Mysterious Tower and she sensed it was sunk in Darkness, Lucelia had been against going to the place even if was for their mission, but Luca had insisted he was okay...so they had come to this world to fix it. Now that they were here, Lucelia wished that she had fought her brother’s decision even more. Here, surrounded by the Dark, the vibe of danger only intensified as her brother sunk further into his own Darkness. Still following, Lucelia only prayed that they could clean this place up without resistance.
Luca, on the other hand, continued walking with his eyes focused ahead. Those blue orbs seemed to burn with a destructive power that had not been seen in for many years. He came to this world to wipe out Darkness, but he knew he and his sister would not be the only ones after this world. No, this task would not be so easy. Surely Light had come here too, so he was ready for the battle that rested ahead.
The pair rounded the corner with Luca in the lead. Lucelia lingered slightly off to the side of the tower as she watched her brother come to a stop a few feet away from the stairs that led up to the tower's door. As she watched, she heard the door open and someone step out. From her position, she saw a young man dressed in clothing that were white, black, and brown. There was a little bit of armor on the white haired young man, making her wonder just how strong he was. In any case, the guy came out speaking about keyholes, making the female vampire frown. What was a keyhole…would Luca know? She continued to watch the scene unfold.
Meanwhile, Luca’s blue eyes locked on the man that came out of the tower automatically marking him as a target as the darkness within him twisted at the very site of the guy. Light…that was what was causing the agitation. This man was a Warrior of Light. Without his sister’s aid, he simply knew this to be true. How? Well, he had been in Darkness once and knew exactly how it felt to be in the presence of Light. The Darkness hated it and wanted to destroy it completely. The sick feeling that was caused by the Light and Dark within him battling one another only intensified the vampire’s desire to wipe this world clean and knock Light back into its place.
As he heard the guy speak, he narrowed his eyes at the words. Keyhole…he had heard whispers of these strange “locks” that led to the world’s Heart….he remembered a particular key could lock and unlock it, but he never had time to research the matter long enough to figure out what sort key and lock this whisper spoke of. In any case, that subject was neither there or now. He had a Light Warrior to be rid of.
Without saying a word, he unsheath his strange sword and began to head towards his target. He wasn’t here for idle chat, he was here for a battle. Besides, he couldn’t talk even if he wanted to. His darker side had too much control over him at the moment. He only wanted to destroy….

From one world to another, the man who wore the crimson coat continued on his quest to seek out and obtain the trust and alliance of as many users of the Key as he could find. Back in Hollow Bastion, the last world visited by the auburn-haired man, had allowed him to meet a Keybarer by the name of Roxas. He was a Nobody, but appeared to have the will and determination to fight out against the Darkness. That much was admirable, though thanks to his Nobody existence, it was unclear whether he was allied with the Light or with this new 'Neutral' band of heroes appearing across the worlds. Either way, it mattered not. As said, Roxas seemed keen to fight the Darkness so that was proof enough he weren't in league with them. The auburn-haired man could only hope his words had reached the soul of the Nobody and that the pair of them would work together to fight the greater threat that was lingering in the shadows. He had promised that if Roxas could beat him, he would leave the world for him to do as he saw fit, which as Roxas mentioned would be 'clean up duty', to erase the Darkness contaminating the world.
While Genesis Rhapsodos did not lose to the young Keybarer, he didn't lose either. The Keybarer had proved his strength, but he was lacking great potential, as if it was sleep, dormant within his body. Perhaps on their next encounter, the auburn-haired SOLDIER would be able to see whether an alliance between them was successful and whether or not he'd be able to draw out some of Roxas' latent power. Only time would tell and before then, there was more work to do. Sephiroth's power had grown to all new levels, and while Genesis himself was growing in strength, he feared that The Chosen One will still one step ahead of him. There was no room for error. Genesis had to gather a strong enough force to fight him back and end the terror and misery Sephiroth brought. This was exactly the reason he came to the world known as The Mysterious Tower. After his battle with Roxas, the Crimson SOLDIER he detected a new, unknown power. It was unmistakably that of a Light heart, but whether it belonged to a Keybarer or not, there would only be one way to find out.
Perched high upon the cone-like roof of the Tower, Genesis' Dark aura lingered as he watched the scene below him slowly unfold. Only the sounds of the passing winds rustling through his hair and dancing about his leather attire, mixed in with his own, slow breathing, were the only sounds reaching his ears. Brightly glowing blue eyes watched as three figures revealed themselves down below upon the ground. One came out of the Tower which Genesis was crouched down upon while two more came from across the opposite side of the area. The two looked pretty similar to one another, aside from their hair colours and unusual clothing styles. Genesis wondered if they were perhaps twins and thus possible siblings. On the other hand, perhaps Hojo or Hollander had been doing other work and the two could be clones. It was of no importance, though one of the two certainly did have a greater power of Darkness within them then the other... so much so that it felt... uncontrolled. This could prove to be a situation, but one the SOLDIER 1st Class wouldn't be able to handle. It were the boy almost directly below him that concerned the auburn-haired man.
((Terra, the link for your physical description picture of Solus is broken and I have no idea what he looks like.))
When noticing that the Darker one of the two opposite the Light-hearted boy started to advance, Genesis decided to move too. Standing upright, he threw his left arm out to his side and summoned forth his single, black Angel's Wing
[/b] or of his left shoulder blade. As the soft black feathers begun to float down from the roof of the Tower, Genesis stepped forth off the edge, dropping and fall down to the ground below. When nearing the floor, he extended his wing and used it's momentum to flip himself before landing upon the floor in a crouch with a heavy thud, placing himself between Luca and Solus. As the SOLDIER 1st Class began to stand upright once more, he extended his right arm this time and summoned forth his Rapier to hand within a swirling mass of flame. His bright blue eyes stared at the Dark boy before him with a searching gaze, looking the lad up and down as he sized him up. Appearances were indeed deceiving, as revealed with Roxas. This boy could too be a very powerful opponent under the teenager-like appearance. Turning his head to glance over one of his black armoured pauldrons, Genesis took a moment to glance through his auburn hair and look down at Solus behind him, taking a moment to stare at the potential Keybarer, the same as he just did with Luca before him. After a second or two, the Crimson SOLDIER returned his attention back onto Luca and allowed a small smirk to creep across his lips. With his attention on Luca before him, Genesis decided to speak up and address the one behind him instead, his voice carrying his usual soft tone and poetic charm. "Forgive me if I startled you, friend. This one before me carries great Darkness and your speaking of a 'Keyhole' makes me wonder if you're a wielder of a 'Keyblade'. If this is true, then I have a proposition for you, though perhaps for now you and I can join strengths to drive this one back, no?"This was perfect. Genesis wasn't expecting the potential Keybarer to trust him at all, though if he could watch Solus' back during this fight, that in itself may help the potential Keybarer to start trusting him. Only one way to find out. [/blockquote] -=Cooldowns=- Angel's Wing[/b] - No Cooldown -- Genesis summons his black angel wing out of his left shoulder. While this is more used as a connection between Sephiroth, it's main purpose is to allow Genesis the gift of flight. He can also use the wing for bursts of increased movement speed.

Ah.... This was place... How to put it? Ah yes, wonderful. It was simply wonderful. Rising his arms up into the air, the genome let out a sigh of joy. His eyes cracking open just enough to observe the room he was in. It was old, dusty and lacked a complete sense of interior decoration. But that was Yen Sid. The old wizard's tastes were out dated. Kuja did not really care though. No there was something so much greater within this tower, something that could make the genome over look all it's faults. Magic. Kuja thought, inhaling deeply.
It flowed and swirled about him, consuming Kuja in it's might. Yet at the same time cradling the mage within itself. Kuja could not decide if it was what Yen Sid left behind or if it was the natural powers of the world itself. Nor did he care, as long as he could stay within it's perfection. Slowly drawing in it's strength until he finally had enough to exact his revenge upon his brother. If he could even call the man that betrayed him a brother.
Then the sanctuary was shattered. He could feel another within this world, wandering about through the darkness. Drawing the magic around him, the genome used it as a cloak to shield himself the sight of others. Slowl Kuja followed the man through the upper reaches of the tower, blue eyes slowly watching the strange man. An even stranger large key was in his hand, never before had Kuja seen such strange device. Watching in bewilderment Kuja could not even tell what this man was looking for. Let alone his purpose.
As the keybearer made his way outside, Kuja opted to stay inside. Blue eyes examined the door as he dropped the cloak of magic. Quietly he pondered about the strange man, trying to decided what he wanted to do. The abruptly he could feel others... Three others slowly approaching the tower and within Kuja's senses. Making up his mind the mage pushed open the heavy stone doors, making hi s way outside as the keybearer did only seconds ago. Standing on the top step, Kuja looked over each of the new comers. One of them reminded him of his fellow Warrior of Chaos, Sephiroth. With his thin sword and sole wing. He had no idea who the other two were, or where anyone's alliance fell. But if he was to claim this tower as his own, then Kuja might as well act like a proper host. "Welcome to my humble abode." The genome began, an almost sinister smile on his face. "Now who are you people?"
[ OOC:: I'm not really sure where Solus was positioned exactly, so I just kinda rolled with it. Also Kuja is now a stalker. ]

[btw, Kuja, I have yet to draw my keyblade. So, Kuja shouldn't know for certain that he is a keyblader]
It wasn't long before another had found his way into the world. Actually, two others had found their way there. It seemed like a set of twins were now upon the scene, and one of them had a horrible problem with the darkness within him. It seemed as if he hadn't been taught how to properly supress the evil temptation; therefore, he was now in a blind rush towards the keyblader of the sun.
Before Solus had a chance to defend himself, a man in a red trenchcoat with similarly colored hair descended from the skies. He planted himself between the oncoming assailant and the solar keyblader.
"Sure, I'll talk with you later. First, let's deal with-" [/b] A being with a massive dark presence was the next to enter the scene. He exited the tower behind Solus, and claimed the land as his own. That would explain the familiar stench of darkness in the area. Solus definitely had beef with this one. "So, you're the master of this land? Then I have to ask you why you let this land fall to the darkness. This isn't a toy for you to play with. You could lose everything to the darkness."[/b] Solus's keyblade finally made an appearance with the first sign, a glowing emblem of the sun from his outstretched arm. Then, in a bright flash of light, Honor's Guard appeared in the silver, spikey haired keyblader's grip. The blade's color matched his silver and gold vest and gi-pants, with a gold hilt and silver arm of the key. Solus was now armed to fight to free this land from the threat of darkness. "I apologize in advance, but I'll force myself upon this world if necessary. I can't let you keep sending this world into further darkness."[/b][/blockquote]

As Lucelia watched from her position well away from the battle that was about to happen, she scanned the area for other presences. Before she knew it she had caught another entering the area that had the bitter smell that all Dark users had. This one was on the roof of the tower watching, but quickly came down from said perch with a single wing on his back. The man in crimson wedged himself between Luca and his target as he spoke and summoned a weapon. It was a foolish move that she was sure would only infuriate her brother’s dark mode; however, Lucelia did nothing to stop what was going to happen. She simply watched and waited for her time to support her brother…and the ally that had arrived. Another that also reeked of the Dark.
Luca had been making his way to the young man that had come out of the tower; however, it seemed another had decided to interfere. Coming down from the roof top, the man in the crimson coat came and landed gracefully between himself and his prey. The male vampire stopped in his tracks as he looked at the new obstacle. He was of Dark for his dark spirit was calm around the man; however, it seems from the words spoken, he was taking Light’s side. Another obstacle to be crushed? Very well then. Luca was on the edge of focusing on the man in red when he heard a voice from behind the young man that had stepped out of the tower. Upon looking around the young man, he saw another person with silver like hair. The new comer spoke of this place as his own and seemed to stir anger within the Light Warrior that he had first targeted, but Luca was not bother by the stranger that spoke. The other was against the Light like them; however, Darkness would not be claiming this place. If anything, the world would be neutralized after this.
In any case, everyone was tossing words around and making no move to attack, so he guessed it was his job to start the battle and see if the Light and Dark warrior could claim this world for the Light or not. Ignoring the question asked by his ally, Luca’s bright blue eyes focused on the red head before him. He was in his way and need to be removed. Decided upon his path of action, he took what appeared to be a simple step forward, but his targets would soon find that the move was enhanced by unnatural speed. Within a few seconds he was in front of the man with the rapier, raising his twisted and stained sword up before letting it come down with enough force that if the man were to be hit by it, it would do moderate damage. Staying in motion, he finished the downward strike before bring the blade up horizontally from the bottom right side to the left shoulder, aiming to cut the man in two with the powerful blow…hit or miss, the man in crimson would know that his opponent was far from human and was not here to play, but to destroy anything in his path. He’d let the other Dark warrior deal with the man with the strange blade that looked like a key…for now. _________________________________________________________________________

The expression spread across the face of Genesis was one of seriousness. While his main intention was to simply speak to the silver-haired boy behind him, the one wearing MORE clothing, it was not going to be that easy. The two strange feeling presences before him, one of Darkness and the other more neutral, were something the SOLDIER hadn't experienced before. Sure, the Darkness and Neutral were not uncommon to him... but there some something else. Something about their own beings. It was a difficult thing to put his finger on, but while Solus behind him 'felt' like a ordinary human, it was different to how Sephiroth and Angeal felt, due to the modifications their bodies had been through. The blue and red-haired teenage looking figures... they felt a lot older then how they looked. They also seemed to carry power far beyond that of what an ordinary teenager should be capable of. True, the Keybarers were like that, but these two didn't look like Keybarers.
It was most interesting.
The Crimson SOLDIER, while keeping his bright blue eyes on Luca before him, turned his head to the right a fraction as he heard the voice of young Solus behind him get cut off. At the same time, a new presence made themselves known after stepping out of the Tower. The Darkness radiating from his Heart told he was not an surprise ally of the Light like the SOLDIER himself was. No, this world was already covered in Darkness and it was obvious now that this newcomer was here to defend this world from the Keybarer and himself. So, it was going to be a three-on-two battle, eh? Curious, because as the new arrival started to speak, his tone sounding poetic and charming like his own, the question he asked made the SOLDIER wonder if he wasn't joining any sides and was going to fight all four of them. It didn't seem likely, but he honestly didn't know what to expect from this guy. The Darkness within his Heart was enough to make him believe he was the enemy, but what if he actually were here to fight for the Light? No, that was impossible. He called this world his 'home'. He was certainly going to fight for the Darkness.
No answer was given to Kuja, for taking his eyes of the boy, Luca, before him would be a mistake. Instead, Genesis turned his head to the right a fraction once more and spoke up to the potential Keybarer behind him. "Think you can handle him or do you need to switch?" He proposed. While watching Luca, he could see he had a certain look within his eyes that told the Crimson Champion this boy cared not for who stood before him. He was going to attack regardless. It seemed the Darkness within his Heart was starting to take control of him and this was not a good situation. While he felt he could take on both the weird feeling teenagers on his own, he had no idea what kind of capabilities the potential Keybarer had. It might play out for the best if the seasoned warriors took each other on. It appeared he was going to have to fight both the teenagers for now though as the boy before him started to step forth.
Genesis stood his ground and simply spread his single black wing to his full stretch, the gigantic wing casting a large shadow down upon the grassy area before the Tower. Keeping his grip upon his Rapier firm, he held the weapon at his side and simply waited for the boy to come at him. The best way to get to know someone was be fighting them, apparently. Not that Genesis wanted to know this boy. He didn't like having to fight teenagers who he felt were being manipulated by the Darkness. It would be best to end this quickly as not to hurt him. However, it turned out that Genesis was in for a surprise. The boy seemed to be able to move with much greater speed then expected. What was this guy? Not moving his feet however, the Crimson SOLDIER brought his Rapier up from his right hand side and held the weapon up horizontally as the boy's twisted and stained sword clattered against it with surprising force, enough so that Genesis was unprepared and had to step back with one foot to support his weight. That weapon was in an awful state... who was this boy?
"What's your name, boy?" A simply question was spoke as the boy before him shifted and readied himself to strike in quick succession following the first blow. Though Genesis smirked to himself as his bright blue eyes caught what he was trying to do. Quickly, he swung his Rapier down to the boy's right hand side in an attempt to try and trap his sword down near the ground to prevent him from bringing it back up to strike. The Rapier of the Crimson SOLDER had considerable length and if he managed to succeed in preventing the second part of Luca's attack, the Crimson Champion swiftly stepped down the steps of the Mysterious Tower and threw out his right leg, aiming the heel of his leather boot to the square of Luca's chest, attempting an attack to knock him down the steps and back onto the grassy area. It would be a much more enjoyable match if they had more space to 'play' in. If his kick missed however, the Crimson SOLDER, still with wing spread, now beat the wing powerfully, propelling himself up into the skies after leaving behind a cloud of dust that hopefully Solus could use to his advantage.
The LOVELESS quoter didn't travel far. He simply used his wing as a means of jumping further then normal. His leather boots thudded against the grassy earth as he landed only a short distance away from the Tower, but in much more open space. The SOLDIER glanced to one side, off towards the young girl standing near the bushes. "You are with the boy soaked in Darkness, no? Tell him, this is a battle he cannot win. I do not wish to hurt you nor the boy. Take him from this world and run and do not return, I implore you."
-=Cooldowns=- Angel's Wing - No Cooldown -- Genesis summons his black angel wing out of his left shoulder. While this is more used as a connection between Sephiroth, it's main purpose is to allow Genesis the gift of flight. He can also use the wing for bursts of increased movement speed.

A fight over this wonderful little world was begging, much to Kuja's disdain. The genome had no problem with crushing these fools beneath his feet. In fact he would enjoy it, however he wanted more time to prepare himself. To befriend these fools, so that when he betrayed them their deaths would be flawless and beautiful. Instead the man before him drew some kind of strange key. Never before had Kuja seen such a weapon, nor could he even guess at it's purpose. Eyes lingered on the twins and the red coat, as they started their battle. It was pity to see them fight, as it would make his deception of the key wielder all the harder.
"I do not believe that force is necessary." With that Kuja's grand act began. He hoped that he could fool the keybearer, even if it would give him the slightest advantage it would be one well earned. "I long to see the bright stars hang above my world once again, to feel the fresh glass beneath my feet." Kuja turned his head to the side, blue eyes shut tight. It a potential for a fatal mistake, as the Genome was leaving himself vulnerable to the other. Yet Kuja could not help but add a bit of dramatic flare. "I have tried... For so long to aid my world. For not to long ago it fell to darkness, by my own foolish mistakes."
Eyes cracked open to look at the dark inky clouds that loomed above him. "I wish to see my world alive again. Yet every thing I have tried has sunk it deeper and deeper into this state of death. I fear that I have fallen with it." Kuja finally turned back to Solus. To observe the man, how he was taking Kuja's tale. "But if you words are true, and you are here to breath life back into my realm then..." A dramatic pause as Kuja extended one hand towards Solus. The simple handshake was meant to be a gesture of peace by the Genome. "I can only welcome you as a friend." A soft and pleasant smile spread across Kuja's face, the final piece of his act.

All may not have been as it seemed. Solus was nearly ready to pounce on the tower's master, but he was quickly greated with the upmost respect. Kuja seemed genuinely ready to repent for the error of turning the world to the darkness. At first, Solus wasn't sure if he should believe him or not, but he quickly decided it would probably be in his best interest to give the man the benefit of the doubt.
Meanwhile, Solus didn't let his attention fall from the twins, who now marked the red haired man as their target. He wasn't sure why, but the one lost in darkness didn't seem all that evil to him. It simply seemed to him as if the boy lost control of his inner allignment. The other sibling actually seemed to desire an end to the skirmish, judging solely on facial expressions.
"No need, Genesis. I think those two are out only concern." [/color] The keyblader then turned back to his new associate, attention now focused totally on the silver haired man. "Okay, I think I can trust you. Alright, if you really wanna fix this world, let's start with this: Do you know where this world's keyhole is? I think that's how I can bring this world to the light."Before walking off with the guy in front of him, Solus quickly turned his head back towards the others, only for a brief moment. "Hey! You might see if there's a way to stop your brother. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, he's just lost his controlover the darkness within him. You might be able to get through to him. That may be the only way to wake him from his trance. Just try to talk him out of it. I'd hate to see you all fight just because he doesn't know what he's doing."[/color][/blockquote]
