[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] You were my conscience, So solid, now you're like water "Did she fall for it?"Mother Gothiel looked towards the back of a black and violet cloaked figure, who was facing a rather dark mirror. After she had spoken, the robed figure spread their arms wide as they glanced upon the surface of the almost jet-black reflection. "Mirror, mirror, true and fair, reveal the girl with the longest, golden hair." A white masquerade mask appeared and floated in the middle of the mirror, nodding solemnly. "As you wish." Almost at once, the mask was replaced with an image as darkness poured out of the frame, revealing a image of Rapunzel going through a dark portal with Pascal and Maximus. "Curses! Those pesky animal friends of hers were the death of me! I mean... once I get my darling daughter back to me, luring her here to this darkest of worlds, those pests will simply have to go! And I know just exactly what she wants in order to do so..." she giggled amusedly, her eyes casting past the Queen towards a collapsed figure on the ground... the unconscious figure of Eugene "Flynn Rider" Fitzherbert. ~***~ Sora didn't think he'd been to this world before. It had started raining outside, and Sora saught shelter in a cave... which had turned out to be a mine shaft. And what a place to mine! Covering the walls seemed to be encrusted with all sorts of beautiful gems, of all colors of the rainbow. Sora didn't feel inclined to take any for himself, just admire the way the way the light refracted through them... although he could imagine with Donald was here, he'd probably be attempting to pull the biggest diamond out of the wall right now, with Goofy advising him not to. He did feel a little sad that they weren't here with them, but he had met up with Goofy a while ago, and even though he got separated from him it felt good knowing they were out there helping in some way. He had to find the people Mickey had mentioned in his letter that were waiting for him, and he supposed Donald pulling on one of the gems in the wall would only start a cave-in with their luck... and much to his imagination, the mine-shaft around him started to shake. "Heartless!" he identified the cause in tense reverence, spotting as some came drilling out of the ground in front of him. The Heartless emerging from the Earth were four Driller Mole Heartless, but they were not alone. Along with the standard Shadow Heartless, there were also two new types of Heartless Sora had not seen before. One type there was two of, a big armored fat-bodied type Heartless called a Land Armor, while the other type where there was one of was another armored Heartless, but it was lean and bladed called a Stalwart Blade. The Heartless seemed to recognize the threat Sora was, and was coming for him in overwhelming power and number, but that didn't seem to matter to him as he summoned his Kingdom Key to his hand in a flash of light and resumed his fighting stance as they descended chaotically upon him... Roxas had been walking along the dark paths that connected the different worlds pondering his adventures so far. So far he had met people from his past, reunited with friends, made some new friends, and found out that others besides the Heartless were after the keyblade. With a sigh, the Nobody began to wonder just how much more trouble the keyblade would bring him. Heartless, Nobodies, Somebodies…what would attack him next over the keyblade? Did he really want to know? Shaking his head to clear it, Roxas focused on how to go about figuring out what was going on with the worlds and also figuring out the riddle behind himself. The part that involved Ven and Aqua. He wanted to know the answers to the strange feeling he got around Aqua and he wanted to meet the boy he was said to look exactly like. Perhaps finding him would answer some questions and perhaps give him a clue as to why Somebodies wanted the keyblade. Sure, he knew that the keyblade released hearts and could help people create their own version of Kingdom Hearts; however, the Nobody had to wonder if Kingdom Hearts was real or not. Xemnas had thought it could give the Organization their hearts back, but in the end it had been destroyed. So if Kingdom Hearts was just something made of Hearts collected from Heartless, then why did people fight over it so? What could be so important about that gathering of hearts? Again no answers.
Roxas continued to ponder this until he was distracted by a very familiar presence within the darkness. Pausing where he was, he tilted his head slightly concentrating on where the presence was coming from. There was Light there for sure, but this particular Light the Nobody knew by name. It was Sora, his Somebody, but where was he? The Nobody continued to search until he finally found a spot where the presence was the strongest. Opening a Corridor of Darkness, the Nobody stepped through and into a jewel encrusted cave. The Nobody could hear the rumble of thunder outside of the cave, but at the moment he was not concerned about the storm nor where he was. He could feel the Darkness within this place, but more so than that he had walked out into trouble. The Heartless had arrived and were already moving in on, the spikey head keyblader known as Sora. Seeing the keyblader outnumbered, Roxas summoned Oblivion and took the nearest Heartless(a shadow) by surprise. With a powerful swipe, the Shadow disappeared in a burst of darkness. Not hesitating, he moved towards the next enemy, a rather large and fat Heartless. Taking a step forward, he attempted to hit the creature in the back, but had to jump back as a different Heartless came around his target and attempted to slice him. Jumping back, he focused on the faster and thinner Heartless, taking in the armor and the blades. He remembered this Heartless from his time with the Organization and knew how annoying they could be. Tch! the Nobody thought bitterly as he settled into a defensive stance and watched the Heartless coldly waiting for its move….

Rapunzel’s wounds that she received from the strange shadow creatures were heeled. A breeze blew through her golden hair. She enjoyed her rest as she scanned the island that she was on. She looked up into the trees to see if she could see anything to eat. A strange star shaped fruit caught her eye. The girl side looked the chameleon that was sitting on her shoulder for some kind of confirmation that it would be safe to eat the fruit. Pascal shrugged but then his stomach growled. As he covered his belly he looked at the girl with the golden hair with his big brown eyes and nodded yes to the girl. Rapunzel took up a section of her hair and with a sharp wrist moment was able to lasso one of the fruits. She tugged at the yellow fruit and pulled it from the tree. It hit the ground with a gentle thud and caused a small cloud of sand to form around it. Pascal rubbed his hands eagerly together at the sight of the fruit. The young girl went over, untied her reward, and just when she was about to take a bite the stranger portal that brought her to this place opened and with a loud Nay a white horse came to a halt in front of the girl and the lizard. “Maximus!” Rapunzel yelled in surprise. The horse was desperately trying to push the girl into the portal. He nudged her, bit her dress, pulled on her hair, and galloped around in circles. “Whoa boy! Easy, easy.” The princess held out her hands and blocked the horse from freaking out any further. “Now what is wrong?” She asked the white steed as she reached for his bridle and patted him on the face. “Did something happen in the Kingdom?” The horse shook his head yes vigorously. “What is going on?” Pascal then hoped from the girl’s shoulder to the horse’s nose. A few squeaks and nays were pasted between the two animals when the lizard turned around and struck brave and dramatic pose, then took his fist and wacked himself on the head that lead to a dramatic fall, finally ending with him getting back up and pointing his tail towards the portal. Rapunzel looked at the chameleon with her head cocked back and one eyebrow raised in confusion. Maximus started pushing her toward the portal again with great urgency. The girl with the golden hair eye’s got wide. She rounded on the horse. She finally understood what Pascal was trying to communicate to her with his dramatic display. “Eugene! Did something happen to Eugene!?” Rapunzel asked. Maximus nodded and Pascal clapped his hands, and scurried of the horse’s nose and back on to the princess’s shoulder pointing to the portal as if to say “Onward!” The Princess grabbed a hold of the horse’s bridle and pulled herself up on to his saddle. With a flick of the rains Maximus took off through the portal carrying the Princess Rapunzel and Pascal.
The portal’s many colors swirled around the companions as it had done before. Rapunzel had a hard time believing that something so colorful could be so ominous. The creepy creatures that had attacked her before were no where to be found as Maximus dashed through the portal. However, even though the shadow things weren’t there, the princess had an eerie feeling that she was being watched. It was a feeling that she hadn’t felt in a long time. Right now those presences didn’t matter to the young girl. All that matter was what happened to Flynn. The golden hair girl was about to whip the rains to make the horse go faster but she pulled on them to make Maximus come to a halt instead. Her actions were due to a silhouette just up a head. It appeared to be a young boy about Rapunzel’s age maybe a bit younger. He was concentrating or listening for something as far as the princess could tell. “Easy boy. Easy.” She whispered to the impatient horse that was trying to continue his run. The boy raised his hand and a portal opened. The princess’ eyes glistened in wonder. The portals always just appeared in front of her. She never seen anyone make a portal appear by will. Pascal’s mouth dropped and Maximus shook his head to make sure his eyes were not playing tricks. After the boy stepped through the portal Rapunzel let a moment pass before allowing Maximus to exit through the same portal. The swirling colors had ended and a rainy forest scene had begun. At first the princess thought that she was back in her own kingdom, however, she didn’t recognize a thing. There was no way that this was her home and the girl sighed in depression as water droplets fell on to her golden hair. It seemed as though the sky was crying the tears that she was unable to. She longed to be home, safe and sound with Flynn. “Flynn!” Rapunzel said as she remembered why she come here. A snap of the rains gave Maximus the cue to take off at a run. The odd gang of heroes hadn’t gotten too far when they ran into the same boy yet again. The princess saw that he was heading for a cave and waited till he was inside before trying to continue. The only thing the flower wanted right now was to find her rider and get out of this place. As Rapunzel passed the cave entrance the sound of a fight caught her ears. It was coming from within the cave. “Did the boy run into a wild animal or something?” She wondered. As the sounds carried on the princess began to worry for the young lad. She couldn’t just leave him there to fight off an animal or thugs alone. The girl hopped from the horse’s back and slowly enter the cavern. Maximus and Pascal were close to her as she placed her hand on the cold stone wall to help guide her until her eye adjusted properly to the dim light. Once inside the cave the girl with the golden hair saw the boy from the portal. At that moment a bright beam of light surrounded the boy’s arm and a giant key appeared. “I heard of the keys to the kingdom but this is a bit much.” Rapunzel thought in disbelieve. She was then made aware of a second boy with a key and a bunch of those creatures that had attacked her before. “Not these things again!” The princess said as she grabbed a hand full of her hair in each fist. At first she had thought that maybe the boy’s were behind the creatures appearance. After all, the one boy did make the portal appear. She was about to wrap her hair around the key that the checkered dressed boy had to pull it away. Just when she was about to make her move a brownish creature with a golden drill coming from each arm attacked the key boy in white. It occurred to the girl that if the boys did summon these monster then the creatures wouldn’t be trying to kill them The boy bravely took a stance to take on the thing but Rapunzel wasn’t about to let the creature get a shot in on the teen. She took her left hand full of hair and whipped at the creature. Her golden locks lassoed itself around one of the creature’s blades and with a sharp pull the creature went flying and smashed into the cave wall. She then looked towards the other boy in red. She could see that there was a shadow creature sneaking up behind him. She flicked her right hand and managed to whip the shadow thing in the head. It disappeared in a puff of black smoke. “Maximus please help!” She begged as she realized just how many there were of the evil creatures. The white horse charged after the shadow looking creatures trying to stomp them in to the ground. Rapunzel took a fighting stance in between the two young boys. A loud squeak of warning came from Pascal. The princess turned around to see what the lizard was reacting to. A huge fat creature was directly behind her. The flower had no time to defend herself and the creature attacked sending her flying into the air, banging off the cavern wall, and finally crashing on to the floor knocking the breath out of her. Rapunzel tried to get back up but the pain in her ribs was to much and she collapsed to the floor once again… "Gyaaa!” [Rapunzel's Battle Stance- 4.bp.blogspot.com/-zZoHAcNZiZA/TW1E3g5220I/AAAAAAAACOg/OGUfZFGTYEA/s1600/tangled%2Bfront%2Bsmall.jpg ]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] We started drowning, Not like we'd get any farther (OOC: Aww, Rapunzel, if you started on Destiny Islands and wanted to roleplay there, you could have said so in your thread request. Maybe we can go back later in this thread, but I made a challenge for you first that only Rapunzel can help Sora with~.) This... looked bad. But he had been in worse. Sora braced himself for battle, and was about to launch himself at the Heartless that had attacked him, when... A blurr of blond hair blew past him, throwing Sora off his guard, astonished at his Nobody he had not seen in the longest time. "...Roxas!?"As if that were not perplexing enough, from the other side behind him, another blond appeared. But this time, with the longest blond hair on a girl he had ever seen in his life. And he though his keyblade was strange, when he had first seen it! "They're called the Heartless!" he exclaimed back to the young woman, remembering they were in a fight as they started attacking the Heartless... along with animals? Stranger things have happened, as some of his best friends were animals, so it didn't phase him for too long. As Roxas took on the giant Stalwart Blade and the girl bravely lassoed the Heartless to crash into the cave wall, he had been exasperated with the sudden addition of allies old and new rushing to his aid, and not noticed the Shadow sneak up behind him until the girl whipped at it. "Thanks!" he gasped, before one of the fat armored Heartless smacked into her, causing her to gasp out in pain. "Heal!" Sora cried out in concern at the poor girl, thrusting his keyblade upwards as he cast Curaga, healing the girl as a gentle green glow of curative magic washed over her to heal the injury that was preventing her from getting up. "Alright, that's it! Now you made me really mad!" Sora declared, as a brilliant glow of an aura shattered off his form like glass, changing the color of his clothes to a brilliant white. He floated off the ground as Final Form had been initiated, the Two Become One forming in his left hand as his second keyblade. With his Nobody present and in dedication to his selflessness, he glided forward and unleashed Crime and Punishment in a furious burst from the girl getting hurt, shooting out several powerful magic spells which instantly destroyed all of the lesser Heartless save the Stalwart Blade. "Take that!" he cheered, focusing on the strongest Heartless that was left. The Stalwart Blade charged it's power, and then stabbed forward with both it's blades at Roxas in a powerful charge attack. Then it leaped up as high as it could to the cavern's roof, slamming into it and causing the cavern to shake, before coming down upon Sora with a leaping stab as the brown-haired boy had tried to move in between to protect Roxas and the mysterious girl. "Ahhhh!" he yelled out in pain as the weight of the Heartless brought him down to the shaking earth below, and suddenly the ground underneath him crumbled away, falling down into the depths of deep sinkhole in the earth. Being knocked out of Final Form before the ground had given away beneath him, he could no longer glide, so he tried to roll as soon as his feet hit the ground in the darkness. But since he couldn't see where he was going, he landed on his leg badly and a loud snap was heard as his leg gave way from underneath him. "Ahhh! My leg... I think it's broken... can anyone hear me?" his shout echoed up the vertical mine shaft he had fallen into, which was as deep as a well.. or tall as a tower. The Stalwart Blade Heartless loomed over the hole Sora had fallen into, blades at the ready as it protected entry from anyone following Sora... the two would have to work together and finish what Sora had started before they could help him. TAG Rapunzel, Roxas, open SONG Monster by Paramore NOTES Sorry about Sora destroying most of the Heartless, had to make it a quick battle to move onto Mother Gothiel! Only Rapunzel can save Sora... after you both have defeated the Stalwart Blade in the next post. xD; |

“We can catch up later, Sora!” Roxas told his Somebody as he heard his name called by his. The in the shock in the other boy’s voice was evident. While he was just as shocked to see his Somebody whole and living while he was free, there was too much chaos going on to ask questions. As he focused on the Heartless, he heard a voice within the cave that was not Sora’s. In fact, it was a girl that had spoke. As the Nobody saw the young woman with the super long hair, he couldn’t help staring in shock. How could someone have that much hair and…use it as a weapon?!
Roxas slightly lowered his keyblade as he watched the Heartless that he was facing fly through the air before crashing into the wall and disappearing into Darkness once more. His continue to watched as the girl took out another Heartless sneaking up on Sora. Impressive. That hair was very handy even though it seemed a bit much on first glance.
In any case, Roxas rejoined the fight taking out any Heartless that got in his way, but there were still too many. Just when he thought the group would over take them, the girl called out to someone for help. While Roxas was expecting another person to come to their aid, instead they got a horse…okay. While the situation was getting stranger and stranger, Roxas wasn’t about to complain about who they got as allies. In any case, the Heartless were slowly going down in number, but not quick enough. They needed to do something fast before--
The thought was cut short as Roxas heard a strange sound from his left where was girl was located. He turned just in time to see one of the fat Heartless smack into her causing her to hit the wall. As she tried to get back up, she let out a yelp of pain. While Sora reacted to the scream by healing the girl, Roxas responded by aggressively attacking and defeating the fat one that had caused the girl the pain. A few second later, Sora unleashed power of his own, transforming into a white clad form with two keyblades. It was a bit surprising (considering Roxas was a double wielder at full power) to see his Somebody with the twin blades somewhat mimicking some of his moves that he had lost while he was asleep. At least the boy had taken something from him and made something useful out of it. He gave the boy points for that. In any case, the powerful attack defeated most of the Heartless within the cavern. The only one remaining was the large Stalwart Blade that the Nobody easily recognized as trouble. He had fought this Heartless before. It never went down easily. While Sora cheered over his triumphant, Roxas focused on the Stalwart Blade as it charged up and came at him. On Instinct, he raised his keyblade to block the blow. Not having guard as a technique, the impact of the creature caused the Nobody to stumble back as its blades clanked against the keyblade. Besides rattling every bone in his body, the Heartless had managed to give him a small cut on his right arm where he could not protect himself from the blade. The wound was minor and far from the Nobody’s mind as the creature backed off before leaping into the air and slamming against the top of the cavern, causing the place to shake before it came down once more. Instead of hitting Roxas or the girl, the creature’s powerful attack slammed into Sora forcing the spikey headed boy to the unsteady ground. Roxas heard his cry of pain and would’ve helped his Somebody if the floor had not decide to give in taking the boy down with it.
“Sora!” Roxas called concerned for the other keyblader as he made a move to go forward and help him; however, the bladed Heartless was in the front of the hole, halting the Nobody’s progress. Roxas took a step back keeping himself between the girl and the Heartless. He couldn't hear Sora's voice, but he could senses something was wrong. The worry made him want to charge the cursed thing to get to Sora, but he knew better than to take this Heartless lightly. Keeping his eye on the Heartless, Roxas addressed the girl. ”Can you stand?” he asked and then gave her moment to respond before speaking once more. ”Listen, I need your help to get rid of this guy. You think you can lend me hand?” The question was said in calm, serious tones, hinting at the Nobody’s stress caused by the worry of for Sora. Keeping the girl from view, he hoped the girl would help him out. Who knew? With that hair of her maybe they could find some way to do a combo attack and finish the annoying Heartless once and for all…

As Rapunzel laid there on the cold cave floor holding her sides a strange green light flooded over her. She heard the boy in red cry out to her. He yield heal and at first she thought that the boy knew of her abilities but all the sudden the pain in her sides was gone. The princess's eyes went wide. "Was this boy also touched by the sun's power?" she thought. She hoisted herself up on her elbows so she could look at the red, giant key wielding boy that healed her. "Thanks!" She gasped. The other boy went rushing after the creature that had attacked her and in the matter of seconds the boy that was in the red outfit was now wearing white and had two of those giant keys. Rapunzel had to blink from the brilliance the boy's outfit, partly because she thought her eyes were playing tricks on her. She could have sworn that the boy was floating for a brief moment. By the time the princess could register what was going on all but one of the monsters was destroy by the boy with the really spiky hair. "He did it!" she cheered as her two animal friends came to her side. Pascal punched his fist in the air at the boy's success and Maximus reared up on his hind legs and gave three loud nays. "Seriously who are these two kids?" She said rather impressed with them. It then occurred to her that maybe these two could help her find Flynn. However, their celebration was premature. The last creature that was left had gotten away from the blonde boy and charged the brown haired child. Rapunzel got up and tried to push the boy out of the way but it was too late. The cavern floor caved in and took the poor child with it. The young princess teetered on the edge of the hole as she waved her arms in circle to try to keep her balance. Maximus thankfully reacted quickly and grabbed her hair. With one might tug from the horse the girl with the golden hair fell backwards on to the floor. "HEY KID ARE YOU OKAY?!" She called out as she crawled to the edge and yelled down to the boy. The boy's other friend called to him as well. A voice came from within the hole and Rapunzel sighed in relief. Her relief turned to concern when the boy said his leg might be broken. The flower was about to toss her hair down to the boy when the monster creature came at her with his blades aimed in her direction. The princess rolled away from the hole and dodge the creature's attack just in time. "I am beginning to hate this floor." She thought as she was on her hands and knees once again. The blonde boy stood in between Rapunzel and the creature that was now guarding the hole. Rapunzel's heart was with the boy with the broken leg. She knew that she could easily help him if she could only get to him. The blonde teen was asking her if she could stand. She nodded and stood up. He then asked her if she could help him get rid of the creature. The princess thought for a moment. She looked around to see if there was anything she could use against the Heartless creature. Her eyes fell on the boy's key. She remembered what the other boy and this one was able to do with those things. It appeared to be some kind of sword. Well at least she knew that when the Heartless got hit with the key, it would disappear and not come back. This Heartless seemed to rely on its speed. So in order to bring it down they would have to slow it down. "I think I can help you but you will have to act fast"She whispered in the boy's ear. "My hair should be long enough to reach you friend Sora." She recalled the name from when the blonde boy yelled it after Sora fell. "After we help you get rid of this thing you will have to claim down on my hair, don"t worry I can support you. The reason you will have to go down is because your friend might be too injured to climb up by himself. It is probably really dark down there but don't worry about that. I will handle that too." She motioned to Maximus and the horse slowly grabbed a section of the princess's hair and walked over to one side of the Heartless. "Now you must promise me you will act fast and not freak out on me. I will explain things later." She whispered as she advanced to the other side of the Heartless. "I am trusting you." Pascal took it upon himself to climb up on the Roxas's shoulder and keep him from getting distracted by what he was about to witness. He was ready smack some sense into the boy if need be. The Heartless turned towards Rapunzel as she approached. She slowly and calmly threw one section of her hair down the hole so that Roxas could climb down it when the time was right. The Heartless advanced towards the princess. All of the sudden from behind the creature some of Rapunzel?s hair wrapped around its arm. When the creature went to try and free itself the princess tossed the section of hair she had saved around its other arm. Together Maximus and the princess pulled the Heartless's arms outward as tight as they could. Then Rapunzel and the white horse brought the creature to its knees. The duo kept the monster?s arms out stretched even when it was on the ground. Hopefully the key wielding boy would be able to use his blade against the creature. Now all Rapunzel had to worry about was the darkness in the hole. She knew if she would sing her whole song then anything wrapped up in her hair would be healed, but if she sung part of the song then only her hair would glow. "Flower gleam and glow, Let your power shine." She sang in a rush. With that, her hair started to glow from the roots down to the full length of her hair; the hole that Sora was in light up in a bright golden light. "Hurry Roxas! Now is your chance!" {OOC- Sorry this wasn't that great My parents wouldn't be quiet for two seconds and for some reason the TV has to be at its full volume}

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] And I let my heart go, It's somewhere down at the bottom It was dark down at the bottom of this hole. Pitch darkand Sora didn't have to see he had landed on his right leg all the wrong way, he could feel it. He stumbled, moved himself around with his left leg as his shattered leg was dragged behind him, placing a hand over himself while his other hand felt around his new cage. All he could feel was earth and stone around him, and he quickly summoned his Kingdom Key to his side. In a flash of light he could see for a few seconds, and it looked like we was at the bottom of a hole. His eyes adjusted as the light escaped to a small shaft above him, looking up. "Roxas? Lady? Hello?"
---
The Stalwart Blade raised it's arm to cut at it's opponents in a powerful broad swipe, before it's arm was tightly lassoed. Turning it's head to the hair that did so, attempting to cut it, but it's other arm was also bound. Confused, it was pulled on either side by a horse and a young woman, ending up toppling to the ground. Defenseless as it made a loud thud upon falling on the floor of the echoing cave, it squirmed, pulling on the arm Rapunzel was tugging on and gaining more leverage than the horsepower on the other arm. It's sharp blades shimmered in the air, ready to cut into that beautiful blond hair...
---
There was a loud thud from above, a few pebbles and the sound of small rocks falling. Too small to cause Sora any real harm, but it did cause concern a cave-in might begin. not getting any answer from above, Sora began to try and use his keyblade to cast Curaga on himself... but the magic he had used in Final Form had rained all his magic. He was about to consider if he could change back into Final Form and get out or perhaps summon a friend, when he felt a tickle of something brush against his left leg... and then the most beautiful singing voice he had heard in a long time. And then, a bright golden light illuminated the darkness, and Sora could see the long, long long blond locks of the girl that he had saved. "Guys, can you hear me? Can you pull me up, please?" he yelled as loud as he could, tugging ever so lightly on Rapunzel's hair with a firm grip so as not to hurt her... but wondered if she could even feel it with miles and miles of hair.

A blur of fighting, a cheer when Sora had defeated most of the Heartless, and then panic and worry that came from seeing an ally go down...in this case down a very deep hole. While the woman with long hair had tried to help Sora, the remaining Heartless was being a pain in the butt. With a swing, the Heartless tried to slice the girl, but thankfully she got out of the way. As Roxas planted himself between the two and asked the woman if she could stand and help him. He was relieved to see her nod and then began explaining how she could help him.
She explained that her hair and his speedy reaction would be key to the plan. As she explained how her hair could help reach Sora, who may be too injured to climb up himself, Roxas nodded not doubting that. She had already shown that it could be used as a weapon when she flung the Heartless around with it as if they were rag dolls. While the Heartless were one thing, he did worry a bit about the climbing part. He didn’t want to hurt her, but if she said she could handle the weight, then he’d have to believe her. When she mentioned that her hair could help with the darkness of the hole below, the keyblader didn’t know what to think. He couldn’t imagine hair being helpful unless it could glow and from what the boy could see of the hair, it definitely did not glow. Then again, what did he know? For all he knew, the hair was enchanted explaining its length and strength. If it could glow, then he’d just accept. He had seen stranger in his travels.
In any case, the girl motioned to the horse as she spoke and it picked up a section of her hair. Before moving the woman asked him to promise to move when he needed to and not to freak out at what was about to happen.
“Promise,” the keyblader told her with a nod and then watched as the girl headed towards the Heartless leaving him and…the lizard together. It was odd having a lizard resting on his shoulder, but the boy did his best to focus. Something about the lizard’s attitude told him that the reason it had climbed up on him in the first place was to ensure he wouldn’t mess up or get the distracted.
The nerve of some creatures,Roxas thought a bit agitated. It was enough to have people underestimate you just because of your appearance, but to have a lizard to add to the group? The thought was almost too much to bear. In any case, the thought passed by as Roxas watched the girl toss a section of her hair into the hole where Sora was. As she did this the Heartless’s attention went to the girl causing the keyblader to tense. Then when he least expected it the horse and woman moved into action effectively pinning the Heartless to the ground, pulling its bladed arms to the side and holding it there leaving it wide open for an attack.
He heard the woman singing something, but the words to the beautiful song were rushed making it hard to tell what it had been said. After the short song was done, her hair started to glow. It was a shocker even when he had suspected the hair could do such a thing. In any case, he quickly recovered from the slight shock as his blue eyes locked on the Heartless. He saw his chance and did not waste it. Just as the woman gave him the command to the attack, the boy was in action. He saw the creature raise its blade to cut into the girl’s golden hair; however, the creature never got the chance. Trusting the lizard to hold on, the blonde keyblader slashed at the Heartless with a three strike combo that ended with a stab to the creature’s chest. The creature vanished back into the darkness at the end, causing the hair to drop. With the threat gone, the keyblade vanished as Roxas headed towards the hole.
He could hear Sora calling up to them.
“Hold on! I’m coming!” Roxas responded back to the boy as he neared the edge of the hole, peeking down into the now illuminated darkness. He could see Sora down at the bottom, in a semi-sea of glowing hair. Preparing himself for the climb, he scanned the area quickly for trouble and then seeing it was safe, he kneeled down and took hold of the glowing hair. As he positioned himself to climb down, he looked over at the girl, whom the lizard had returned to.
“I’ll try to get him back up as quickly as I can. Be ready to help me pull him up, okay?” he said and then with that headed down. The climb was a lot longer than Roxas expected as he carefully made his way down to the injured boy. Once at the bottom, he took a moment to observe his Somebody. He could see the broken leg clearly in the light. The sight made the Nobdoy wince slightly inwardly. He hated to see friends hurt like that.
“How you holding up?” he asked then after a brief pause he looked at the hair coming up with an idea. Grabbing a length of it he handed it to his Somebody as he grabbed another section of the same length and wrapped it around himself.
“Wrap it around yourself and then hold onto it. I’ll pull you to the top and try not to hurt that leg of yours anymore,” he said as he managed to make a loop around himself that would hold him, but not tangle the hair. If Sora had tied his length on right, then the Nobody would be able to focus on climbing up while pulling Sora along (since they would be connected to the same strands of hair). With team work, he and the girl would be able to pull Sora up and then deal with the injury, provided nothing bad happened along the way. After the instructions were given and he was sure his Somebody would not fall out of the hair, he looked up at the light above and called to the woman.
“We’re coming back up!” he told her before grabbing hold of the hair and bracing himself for Sora’s weight.
“Here we go,” he told his Somebody and then he began his climb. It didn’t take long before Sora’s full weight was on the boy as he pulled him along. Despite the strain on himself, the Nobody found himself more worried about the woman and Sora falling more so than himself. As he made his way up carefully, he paused every now and then to make sure that Sora was okay and still there… but also to recover slightly from pulling the boy up.
It was a slow process, but they were slowly making their way to the top. Almost there, the Nobody thought as he kept climbing along.

Rapunzel and Maximus held the Heartless tight. She could hear the Sora boy call for them from deep within the hole. The other boy charged, only with the slightest hesitation at seeing the princess’s hair glowing, at the Heartless. Rapunzel closed her eyes and braced herself as the key shaped blade came down upon the creature. She barely knew the boy and she was trusting him to act accurately and quickly. She was raised to believe that the entire world was cooled and cruel. She was told that if the world found and ray of sunshine, then it would be snuffed out. But there was something about these two young men that peeked the girl with the glowing hair’s curiosity.
The blade made contacted with the Heartless just as the creature managed to cut a small piece of Rapunzel’s hair. A black dust cloud dissipated where the monster once stood and the blond hair hit the ground as the small cut section turned brown from the point of the snip up toward the roots and stopped its glowing. Rapunzel opened her eyes and took a sigh of relief. The boy called Roxas ran to the edge of the hole where is friend lied in wait. The princess stood up and through the rest of her down the hole. She took to a horse stance and had both hands holding on to her hair like a rope. Pascal had climbed back on her shoulder and she looked at him with a giggle and a smile. “You did a great job Pascal.” She said as the little lizard puffed out his chest in bravery. Maximus also came to hold on to the hair. He gently bit down on the long soft locks being careful not to sever any of it and braced himself as Roxas went to climb down the hole.
The boy was much lighter than the other people how have been on the golden locks. It was a few moments before the tension on the hair released which meant that the hole was very deep. After the young boy hit the bottom Rapunzel got a bit of a break. She tried to listen to what was going on within the cave in but the two boys were too far down and they were talking too softly. All that arose to the surface were mumbles. “We’re coming back up!” The boy yelled up to the princess. Maximus and Rapunzel began to pull. Roxas was a lot heaver this time which could only mean that she was pulling both boys up. Rapunzel had to use her weight to counter the combined weight of the boys. The princess and the horse backed up further into the cave as they pulled the youngsters up and all the while Pascal was making hive ho sounds to encourage the two to pull with all their might.
With huff and puffs Rapunzel and Maximus pulled both boys back up. Her hair stopped glowing the moment that boys came to the surface. She ran to the boy with the broken leg. “Hold still.” She said as she examined the damage. Pascal has climb down from the princess’s shoulder and climbed on to the boy’s good leg to get a better look. Maximus peered over the young girl’s should and winced at the awkward angle that the leg was laying at. “Alright I can fix this. ” She said rather uncertain of herself. She still really didn’t know these two and wasn’t sure how they would react to her power. Glowing hair was one thing but the power of healing to the point of staying healthy and young forever was another. That kind of power need to be hidden and protected.
Pascal seemed to know what Rapunzel was thinking. He placed his front feet on the Sora’s belly and stood on his hind legs looking at the boy then he turned and looked at the flower with big sad brown eyes. The lizard seemed to be trying to tell the girl that she could trust the boys. After all they did save get the monster back for hurting her and the boy did heal her. She looked at the Sora with soft uncertain eyes. She came to the conclusion that if the boy’s healing powers was only able to heal certain things. Her guess was that he tried and obviously failed. She looked down and off to the side deep in thought. Finally she, very dramatically, said, “Oooooh alright! I can fix this! But you better not freak out.” She pointed to the boy in a rather comical way. Pascal smiled and leapt to the one side of Sora. Rapunzel lifted up the young man’s leg gently and start to wrap some of her hair around it. When she had finished she looked up at Roxas and grabbed him by the wrist pulling him next to his friend. “I know you got cut on your hand while fighting. We don’t want it to get infected.” She said to him as she wrapped another section of her hair around his hand. She smiled slightly to herself because she remembered doing this very thing to Flynn. Hahaha she even gave him the same warning about freaking out. She took a deep breath and started to sing. This time much less frantic the when she had sung before.
“Flower gleam and glow, Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse, Bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt, Change the fate's design, Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine. What once was mine. “
As the song was being sung the glow once again started from the roots of Rapunzel’s head and creped slowly towards the two boys. The princess closed her eyes as she sung and opened them again, slowly, as the song came to an end. She reached around Sora’s leg and untied her hair from it. She stood up and leaned down to grab the blader in red by the hand. “Now stand.” She said as she pulled him to his feet. She walked over to Roxas and untied his hand. “Well that should do it.” The girl with the magic hair sighed. She was unsure if she should ask the boys to help her on her quest or not. “I better get going. There is someone important to me that needs my help and I have to find him.” She placed her hands over her heart in a loving way. She sniffed as if she was about to cry. She had no idea what had happened to Flynn. Maximus had nudged her with his nose and she turned to pat him trying to hide her tears from view. Pascal returned to her shoulder and was patting her in sync as she was patting the horse. She wiped her eyes on her sleeves and turned around to greet the boys with a fake smile. “Try not to break anything else, okay.” She said as she pulled herself on the horse. She knew that she couldn’t rescue Flynn alone. She kept remembering the fat Heartless that got the best of her. “How on earth am I going to go about this?” She asked herself out loud.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] But I'll get a new one And come back for the hope that you've stolen
(OOC: Sorry about the wait, had to get through all that reading! And lack of detail? Heck, I had trouble posting because I didn't know how to answer to so much detail! It's great! xD)
His answer of whether or not his weight would hurt the girl's hair was soon answered, as suddenly the light coming from above was blotted by a silhouette, and the boy in red could hear the voice of his other echoing down to him. "Roxas, down here!" he waved, in case the darkness and his voice from before had masked his presence to him. As his other landed in the small space next to him, he chuckled a bit tiredly at his question. "I've been through worse." he answered modestly, and listened to his other instruct him to wrap it around himself. His other was so much like him... taking charge of the situation. He nodded, but didn't want to tie the girl's hair as he wrapped it around his chest like a sling, and held onto the neck of the loop he had created as his other and the girl pulled him up.
He held on as long as he could, with the length of hair spinning him and bumping him against the wall every now and then, hearing his other's obvious advice. "Like I would try to hurt myself even further!" he laughed, somehow still optimistic and positive about the whole situation. Strands of hair began to loosen from his grip from beneath his hands, but before the sling came undone, he was pulled up and out over the lip of the hole back into the light of the cavern. The Heartless was gone, but even as the young woman came over to inspect his leg, Sora could only think of one thing to say to his two rescuers.
"Hey... are you two okay?" he smiled sincerely, without anything more of a selfish thought towards his own injured condition. "And thank you, so much!"
The horse that had accompanied the girl whinced, reminding the first keyblader off his generation of the broken leg. He held still, but still stifled a whince from his lips as she examined it. He also had no choice but to notice as the large chameleon - and he knew his lizards, from when he spent a lot of his time battling Stealth Sneaks back in the day - climbed onto his good leg he had raised up to bend at the knee beside his broken bone. There was a moment where he and the lizard shared eye contact for a moment, and the young boy smiled at him. "Hello." he said kindly, and watched as the smaller animal companion turned around to stand up and look at Rapunzel. After dealing with Mushu, Sora wasn't stunned by this at all and almost even expected the lizard to speak, but he didn't. There seemed to be a much more silent, but deeper connection between the two as the girl that seemed uncertain about fixing his leg seemed to be convinced somehow by the reptile's exchange of a glance.
Sora was about to say that the girl didn't have to use her curative magic to heal if she didn't want to, but before he could say anything she seemed to have gotten her confidence back, and wrapped her hair around his leg. "Huh? Wait, what are you..." he tried to ask her, but was cut off as she cut in to do the same to Roxas's own cut on his hand. Any other words he tried to utter were replaced by her beautiful singing from before, and in awe Sora watched as her hair began to glow and his fractured limb begin to feel... a soft, glowing warmth, like it had been hit with a ray of radiant, comforting sunlight. Still enraptured by the gentle singing, he began to suspect from the lyrics of the song what was happening as the blond female finished and unwrapped her hair... and the gouge in his leg had gone. She convinced to stand him up before he was ready but was brought to his feet, catching Pascal in consideration in his arms and testing the leg and feeling like... like it was even better than how his other leg felt at that moment. His head still swimming with euphoria and wonder, a huge grin kept across his face in amazement as he placed Pascal on his shoulder. "You have glowing hair that heals..." he paused, before holding out his hand and summoning in a flash of light, his Kingdom Key back to his hands, and then continued. "... I have a glowing keyblade that does magic.. so does my friend. I think we're going to get along just fine... oh, and thank you so much for healing me, and for the rescue... both of... all of you." he said gratefully.
But his moment of trust he had earned with them all had broken in mood slightly, as the girl announced she had to go. Feeling distraught that the feeling of friendship was deteriorating as quickly as the golden sunlight that had healed his leg, he also felt compelled more-so to help the poor girl that had helped him as he felt a connection with her. "I'm looking for someone important, too. Everyone that's waiting for me... they're waiting for me to heal them... but, if someone needs help then we have to help them before helping ourselves. So I'll go with you, don't be sad!" he offered out of pure kindness, and then looked towards his Nobody. "A journey's always more merry with more friends, a ship runs with happy faces, so are you coming too? And what are you doing here, of all places?" he questioned, looking at Roxas as he stood opposite him, and then back to the mysterious girl. "Oh, this is my..." he paused, opting not to confuse Rapunzel and friends with the fact Roxas was his Nobody, and decided to go with a relation which was also true. "... My friend, Roxas."
The Kingdom Key disappeared from his hands as he looked up at the princess on the horse, and smiled genuinely.
"And I'm Sora! What's your name, and your friend's name?"

((*Agrees with Sora.* Indeed, it was beautifully written ^_^))
Thanks to light and the call from Sora, locating his Somebody was an easy task and getting him to listen to him was simple enough. Much like himself, his Somebody trusted close friends and trusted them to take care of him when in need. After making sure the boy was secure and starting the climb, Roxas couldn’t help, but smile at his Somebody’s comment.
“Always looking on the bright side,” he said back to him as he continued to climb up.
Roxas had to admit, it was good to hear his Somebody stay optimistic about the situation at hand. It made it easier on the Nobody and helped ease some of the worry that he had for his injured Somebody. Despite how similar they could be at times, their personalities were opposites. Sora was more fun loving and happy, while Roxas was more serious and darker. Optimism was not a strong point for the Nobody. He was a bit too serious for that, so the contrasting personality was welcome and made the task of climbing easier. The girl also helped by pulling the pair up, making the long climb shorter.
A few moments later, Roxas made it to the top and then grabbed onto Sora to help the girl and her friends pull the boy up to safety. After the ordeal, he took a moment to relax as he let the hair, that had now stop glowing, fall off of him. He took a moment to catch his breath as the girl went over to check on Sora. Roxas watched the strange exchange between human and animals swearing he saw the horse wince when it saw Sora’s leg. Not sure what to make of the horse or the lizard now resting on Sora’s good leg, Roxas remained quite as he recovered from the climb. To Sora’s question, he said, “I’m okay,” before nodding a “your welcome” to the thank you. In reality, the Nobody was ignoring the soreness that was settling in and the sting from the cut from earlier. He was more concerned about Sora’s injury more so than himself. There was no need for more worry.
The broken leg was troubling, and yet there was nothing the Nobody could do. No amount of cure could heal an injury like that. In any case, the girl said that she could fix the problem in rather uncertain tones, making the Nobody raise an eyebrow at the comment. Heal the broken leg? With what? he wondered before he was distracted by the lizard moving to Sora’s stomach before giving the girl a look. In response to look, the girl became a bit dramatic as she warned Sora not to freak out before going into action and wrapping the boy’s leg in her hair as the lizard moved out of the way. Roxas was a little too confused at the situation at hand to form a proper response. As Sora began to speak, the girl cut him off as she unexpectedly grabbed Roxas by the hand and pulled him next to Sora. She was telling him that the injury he had needed to be healed before it got infected.
While under normal circumstances the Nobody might’ve snapped at the girl, the words were similar to Aqua's, keeping the Nobody in a confused state as his mind tried to focus once more.
“Huh?” was all he was able to get out before his hand was being wrapped in the hair as a slight smile appeared on the girl’s face. A few seconds later, the girl began to sing once more. The song was still beautiful, but longer this time and had a different effect. The hair glowed, but also caused a warm and soothing sensation to travel over the wound Roxas had. It was almost like relaxing in the sun. It was a relaxing and downright unnerving! The Nobody remained slightly on edge as he resisted the urge to pull away out of fear of hurting the girl.
In any case, Roxas calmed down once the singing ended and the hair stopped glowing. The wound he had disappeared as if it had never been there. In fact, Roxas found himself feeling better than ever after the event. She released Sora from the hair and got him stand. While Roxas was sure this was a bad idea, he was surprised to see his Somebody stand up easily enough, not bothered by pain at all. Roxas was still trying to wrap his brain around how singing and hair could cause something to heal, when the girl was before him and untying his hand as she spoke. Roxas got to his feet and smiled slightly at the girl.
“Thanks for the help,” he said and then watched as she moved away sighing. He wondered what had caused her to sigh; however, he was distracted by his Somebody that was acting quite strangely. He was grinning as he spoke. Roxas watched as his Somebody summoned his keyblade and told the girl a bit about their power. Not something he would do, but this was Sora and Sora always had more trust in folks than he did. As his Somebody thanked them all again. Roxas smiled a bit.
“Sure. You would’ve done the same for us,” he said in friendly tones. In any case, the happy thought of everyone getting along together and the happy mood in general was shattered at the girl’s announcement. She said she had leave now and was getting on the horse. The smile faded away from the Nobody's face as Roxas thought how bad of an idea that was. This place was consumed by the Dark, they couldn’t let her go alone. Unlike, Sora who connected to people thanks to his Heart, Roxas wanted to help the girl for two reason. One they owed her for helping them and two he didn’t want the Heartless to harm someone gentle and kind. It was a strange conclusion, but there was a need to protect her there and he wasn’t going to ignore it.
He was about to answer her question when Sora spoke first mentioning that he was looking for someone too. Whether it was Riku, Kairi or someone else, the Nobody didn’t know or bothered to try to figure out at the moment. In any case, Sora was on the same line of thinking as himself when he offered to help the girl before turning to him and asking him a few questions.
“Of course I am coming,” he told his Somebody, giving him a “as if you needed to ask” look for a few seconds before shrugging to the second question. “Much like you two, I was searching for friends around the area,” he said and then with a smile. “I got lucky and found you guys.” The smile was a big cover up for many things. He wanted answers to what was going on and why on earth he was free from his Somebody; however, with the girl around he couldn’t exactly say all that without destroying the balance within the worlds and raising a million questions he was sure could not be easily explained. In any case, the smile was still genuine in its own way. He was happy to see Sora safe and having potentially new allies was always a plus. In any case, he figured his Somebody would understand the briefness of the explanation and they could deal with that ball of confusion later. Anyway, as his Somebody introduced him to the mysterious girl and her friends, Roxas had a brief moment of panic as Sora hesitated in his speaking trying to figure out how to explain Roxas no doubt. In any case, the fear was for not as his Somebody introduced him as a friend before introducing himself and asking for the girl and her friends’ names. Roxas remained relax, content with Sora’s explanation of their relation to each other, as he looked over at the woman and her friends waiting for her response.

Rapunzel was about to leave with Pascal and Maximus when the boy in red summoned his strange weapon. The princess had a worried look on her face as she half listened to what Sora was saying. Her eyes remained on the blade. Was he going to use it against her? Pascal snapped the girl out of her gaze on the key and back on to what the boy was saying. He seemed to be slightly upset that she was trying to leave. It didn’t occur to her that this band of misfits could be a team. Then again they did just take down a bunch of those Heartless things.
Both boys put one heck of a guilt trip on Rapunzel. They said that they were both looking for people they cared about too. It sounded like the two of them have had one incredible journey. The princess sighed. She didn’t want anyone else to get hurt because of her but she had a feeling that these two weren’t going to let her leave without their help. Rapunzel casted her eyes downward and tried not to listen. She wasn’t going to put them in harm’s way. " if someone needs help then we have to help them before helping ourselves. So I'll go with you, don't be sad!" Came Sora’s voice to the girl’s ears. "A journey's always more merry with more friends, a ship runs with happy faces, so are you coming too?" Rapunzel’s big green eyes slowly looked up at the boy. Sora then addressed Roxas and the other boy agreed with what his friend said. The princess noticed that Maximus was looking at her. He made a head motion towards the two boy as if to say “Let them help you.”
The one called Sora introduced himself properly. Then he introduced his friend. There was a slight hesitation when it came to describing Roxas’s relationship to him. Rapunzel lifted an eyebrow and folded her arms as the boy said that the other boy was his friend. The princess had a feeling that the two of them were holding something back from her. She might have believe it if they said that they were brothers or something of that nature, but the two of them look almost identical to be just passing friends. However, Rapunzel knew that everyone had their own secrets that they want to keep hidden from the world and she wasn’t about to question the boys; at least not out loud away.
Rapunzel got off her horse. “This is Maximus.” She patted the white stallion. Maximus gave her a disapproving nay. “Oh, I am sorry. This is Captain Maximus. He is the Captain of the Guard.” She saluted. “Is that better?” The horse gave a happy nay and brushed up against her. The blonde girl then placed her hand on the lizard’s head. “And this is Pascal.” The chameleon attempted to shoot the princess a dark look. “Oh don’t look at me like that.” She said to it. “You have no other title other then Pascal.” The Lizard looked at her with the straightest face then blew a raspberry with its tongue. The girl laughed at the chameleon. She then extended her arm to the two boys for a hand shake. “And I am Prin…” She stopped in mid sentence. She rethought what she was about to say. If she was to say that she was a princess then the two boys might become overly protective and keep a close eye on her. She has had more than her fair share of overly protective people in her life. “I mean, I am Rapunzel. My name is Rapunzel.” She smiled.
“I am looking for my husband. According to Maximus he just vanished. It is not like Flynn to take off and not come back so I am afraid that something bad has happened to him. I have no idea where he is.” Her smile turned in to a sad face. “Come to think of it, I have no idea where I am. This place doesn’t look like my kingdom.” She looked shocked at what she had just said. She had said her kingdom. The princess quickly tried to fix her sentence. “I mean the kingdom where I live…. Where I come from…. Where my house is….” She started to say frantically. “Anyway, I came in from a strange portal thing that I followed you through.” She pointed to Roxas. "At first I was home and then the strange hole appeared in the woods. I went into it and ended up on an Island with these strange star shaped fruit. Then Maximus, who I left back at the kingdom, came charging from another portal thing and we went back through that same portal together. Finally we found you, Roxas, in the place with all the colors and you opened another hole. We ended up following and now we are here.” The princess finished her story and looked at the boys to see what their reaction was. “So will you to help me find my husband and return us home? Please.” The princess looked uncertain and a bit scared. She could feel that someone, somewhere was watching them. What was worse was that for a moment she felt a eerily familiar presence casting a dark shadow over her. Rapunel shuttered.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] I'll stop the whole world I'll stop the whole world from turning into a monster "Curse that girl and her companions! And now she has those two meddling flunkies with giant keys for weapons, too... no matter. I'll have my men deal with them..." Mother Gothiel seethed as she watched from the magic mirror, scheming how to deal with the girl. The Evil Queen however felt she had to interupt. "Those boys are stronger than they look. That weapon they wield, the giant key, has them bestow powers greater than even that of your daughter in my opinion. They were enough to have taken down my poweful magic mirror twice, on seperate occasions." she advised strictly, crossing her arms. "Then we can let those Heartless deal with them while I grab the girl! It was enough to knock down that one boy and slow them down enough." Rapunzel's surrogate mother exclaimed, looking from the Evil Queen to the Magic Mirror, which had now resumed it's normal white-masked appearance. The Evil Queen shook her head slowly. "If you are going to go into this haphazardly, then I will have no part of it." she turned away and left the corridor, the Magic Mirror's mask sinking back into the darkness of it's surface. The old woman looked into the surface of the magic mirror, her true reflection starting to see bags of wrinkles under her eyes... she did not have much time, as the degredation process had already begun. "I can't take them all on alone... wait... that's it! If I can get her here alone..." she began to form a clever ploy, but a figure in the shadows finished her sentence for her, one she was not surprised to see. "Bait the girl here. Leave the meddling boys to me."Scene BGM: Strange Whispers--- "Of course! C'mon, let's go look for him. And nice to meet you guys!" he smiled warmly. Sora would have asked what his new friend's husband, who revealed her name to be Rapunzel, looked like. But he was sure if they stuck together as a party, she would be able to identify him the moment she saw him. "You've been to my island? It has star-shaped fruit. And you can't stay in those Corridors of Darkness for too long, Rapunzel... those lead through the darkness in the hearts of worlds, and they'll stain your heart with darkness for good." he warned her. So this wasn't Rapunzel's own world... he hoped Rapunzel would head his warning and not use the Corridors of Darkness too much, or if the damage had already been done to her heart and that of her animal friends. Leading the group with Roxas and Rapunzel, and glad Roxas had decided to help, he lead them out of the Mine Entrance through the Mountain Trail to the Dwarf's Cottage."Oh... this must be Snow White's world." he realized, looking through the window of the cottage and seeing Snow White's picture with seven dwarves and a handsome young man, but no husband of Rapunzel's in sight, nor anyone else for that matter. "Hello, anyone home...?" he called aloud, knocking on the door to announce their presence. "Dear Rapunzel, you've grown back your wonderful blond locks already? Wasn't I right how the world around you is a much too dangerous place for you to wonder around in?" came a eerily familiar voice for the princess, and Sora turned around to see a older woman with black hair approach them from the darkened woods. "Who are you?" Sora questioned, not recognizing her. The woman made a hearty laugh and waved Sora off as if he was nothing... because he was to her. "I am Mother Gothiel, Rapunzel's surrogate mother, of course. I'm sure Rapunzel will be less than happy to tell you how she feels about me, but that's really none of your concern. Now run along and mind your own business, this is between us girls." Disregarding Sora, she turned to Rapunzel. "You didn't thing falling out of a tower would be the end of me, did you, Rapunzel dear? Just like you couldn't help yourself peering into that portal of darkness, and leaving your husband behind, or that magical blond hair of yours growing back. That's the real reason why it has grown back, you must have realized it by now, the world outside will always be cold and cruel for you to need that hair. You were more than happy to leave your husband behind and hide the fact your hair grew back, you didn't even realize he was gone until you were. Silly, selfish little girl. All you cared about is the darkness appearing the same time as your hair did, and there is a connection between the two of them. You want the answer, my dear? Mother dearest will give it to you. As long as you are who you are, you will always need to mend what is undone, fix what is broken... you crave trouble and chaos, my dear, there will always be darkness in your own heart. Now, you will be coming along with me alone, my dear and embracing that darkness... or a knife through your husband's chest will be the least of your worries." And conjuring a projection above her hand, she showed the three the image of 'Flynn Rider' unconscious on a stone floor. "You have Rapunzel's husband!? You give him back!" Sora demanded, summoning his Kingdom Key, feeling a fight was coming along. After another disconcerting laugh, Mother Gothiel changed her tone to one cold and sharp towards Sora. "I said, this is between us ladies, so stay out of this, boy. Rapunzel is coming with me alone, so run along and take your friends with you." With a nod to someone hiding behind her in the darkened tree-line, there was a flash of dark magic, and suddenly Sora, Roxas, Pascal and Maximus had all vanished in a dark flare of magic. Now all alone, Mother Gothiel took Rapunzel by the hand and clamped iron chains around her. "Now run along, Rapunzel, we wouldn't want your dear sweet husband to die on the floor of a darkened castle alone, now do we? Your friends have all abandoned you, I told you men like them could not be trusted... so what point is there in resisting?" she laughed, and pulled Rapunzel forcefully behind her through the Dark Woods towards the direction of the castle in the distance. From the shadows, Maleficent remained hidden, but smirked to herself from her co-operation with Mother Gothiel. "Now I have gotten rid of that meddling Sora and that Ventus brat... whom I didn't think I'd ever see again... before their friends rescue them from the Realm of Darkness I've got some plans to put into action." With that, she also disappeared from the scene in a puff of shadow. --- Meanwhile, Sora and the rest of the gang had emerged in the Realm of Darkness Maleficent had banished them to. As she had done before with Sora at the end of the Battle of a Thousand Heartless, although this time she had no intention of them returning as an ally against the Organization. Sora looked around the immediate are of Roxas, Pascal and Maximus... only pitch black darkness, if one could truly see through it. "No, not here again... this must be the Realm of Darkness... Mother Gothiel must have sent us here. But where's Rapunzel!? Oh, no, we gotta go back and help her! But we can't... not unless we could open a... that's it! Roxas!" he paused, realizing how obvious the solution was he felt stupid he hadn't thought of it straight way. Calling out to his Nobody, he felt his other half in the area, hoping he could hear him. "You can open a Corridor to Darkness and get us back! Then we can go help Rapunzel and her husband! Hurry!" TAG Rapunzel, Roxas, open SONG Monster by Paramore NOTES Maleficent thinks Roxas is Ventus, so what is one advantage Roxas as a Nobody has over his look-alike? And Rapunzel, don't be afraid to go see Mother Gothiel by yourself, because you won't be for long. xD; |

n((*bows apologetically* I have not abandoned you. Sorry for the long delay. Needed a break. Let’s move along shall we? *sees note below and ponders that question*))
Roxas watched the young lady’s reaction to their offer to help her. There seemed to be some sort of conflict going on within her. The conflicted lasted a few moments before she seemed to settle on some form of answer with help from the horse before listening to Sora’s introduction. The Nobody did not pick up on suspicious that girl had for his and Sora’s relationship. After all he had been distracted by what Sora would say himself, so he wasn’t exactly focus on her reaction at the time. In any case, the young lady got off of her horse confirming that she’d let them help. Not a big fuss. Good.
Roxas relaxed even more as he listened to the girl introduce her companion and then herself. The conversation was quite the show. As the young lady talked, correcting herself when the horse protested against the first introduction, Roxas couldn’t help, but smile slightly as he shifted his weight to his back leg and folded his arms slightly.
Despite the friends being an odd bunch, he was glad to see the close bond they shared with each other. It reminded him of how close Axel and Xion were before things went wrong. Again, he wondered if they were doing okay. In any case, Roxas refocused on the introduction just when the young lady began to introduce herself. When the young lady hesitated, Roxas tilted his head slightly. Whatever the girl was about to say, she quickly corrected herself and introduced herself as Rapunzel.
Roxas nodded slightly at this as he listened to her story of why she was in this place. He narrowed his eyes slightly as she began to over explain what she meant by “my kingdom”. Sure it was the place she lived, but she explained the words as if she was trying to cover up something even bigger. It was strange, but Roxas didn’t linger on the thoughts as she explained how she got there. Roxas frowned inwardly. How he had not picked up on her presence within the darkness? Light…light would’ve been very bright within that darkness. Had he been that lost in thought?
In any case, the Nobody pushed the thought aside as she asked them to help find her husband and return them back to their home.
Naturally, Sora jumped right in with a yes and Roxas nodded confirming he was still in for the ride. They couldn’t leave her and it was not like that shutter got past the Nobody. Something more than being out of place was bothering the girl, but what he didn’t know. Anyway, the conversation carried on for a bit longer, ending with Sora warning Rapunzel about the Corridor of Darkness. It was true those of Light could be consumed by the Darkness that was there. Being a Nobody he didn’t have to worry about such things. Still it was surprising how the young lady and her friends seemed to remain untouched by the Darkness. Not even the Heartless had bothered them. An interesting turn of luck for the trio.
Anyway, the conversation ended and then Sora was moving. Gesturing for Rapunzel to follow after Sora, Roxas headed after his Somebody with the girl. As they stepped out into the area, Roxas took in the strange place. The strange mine they had left, the trail, and finally the cottage they came to…all of it was new and yet not. Something within him knew this place, but what? As Sora moved around the cottage looking in through a window, the Nobody heard him say something about someone named Snow White. While the name was somewhat familiar and caused a variety of thoughts to flood the Nobody’s mind as he tried to place the name with something familiar, the Nobody pushed the strange sensation away. Perhaps it was Sora’s presence that was causing the strange thoughts. He had never met a Snow White….had he?
Pushing the confusing thoughts away, Roxas began examining the cottage as Sora headed around the door to let whoever was inside let them know they were there; however, the place seemed just as empty as most worlds he had visited. The residents here missing and in their place people that did not belong. Feeling a sense déjà vu, Roxas continued to move around the house finally stopping a short distance from Sora and Rupunzel. He was about to open his mouth to tell Sora they should look elsewhere when he felt a dark presence in the area. The Nobody turned just as a voice spoke addressing Rapunzel and catching Sora’s attention. Roxas narrowed his eyes at the woman and found himself moving slightly closer to Rapunzel to protect her from whoever this strange old woman was. There something wrong with this woman…something that screamed she wished to do harm to them. Roxas did not like her one bit.
In any case, Sora questioned the woman and in response the woman waved the boy off. She didn’t see him as a threat. Unfortunately for her, she every ounce of a threat to Nobody. It was just something about the way she spoke. False kindness that hid malice. When she introduced herself as Mother Gothiel and Rapunzel’s mother, the Nobody became more suspicious of the woman’s intent. She wanted them to leave and mind their business? Hmph! The whole thing became their business when they agreed to help Rapunzel, so there was no way he was moving.
"Not happening," he responded coldly glared at the woman openly defying the command. When the woman turned to Rapunzel and began to speak to her Roxas felt himself grow tenser with each second. Slowly his hands balled into fists as this woman used twisted words to try and persuade Rapunzel to come with her. Things only got worse as Mother Gothiel revealed she had Rapunzel’s husband before showing a projection of the man captured and unconscious somewhere. Sora reacted to the threat just as Roxas did.
Almost at the same time, the Nobody and his Somebody summoned their keyblades. Roxas stepped between Rapunzel and this strange woman planning to protect the girl; however, Sora’s outburst made the woman mad, turning her voice from false kindness to coldness. Then with a nod to someone unseen, the area was quickly changed from forest to a place the reeked with heavy darkness. The Realm of Darkness…while the Nobody had no worries of being tainted by the place he was concerned about Sora and the others where were they? And Rapunzel? What had happened to her? Gritting his teeth in agitation at the situation, Roxas began to seek out his Somebody in the darkness.
It didn’t take him long to find him. He could hear him speaking about Rapunzel and then calling out to him. In response to his words, Roxas opened a Corridor of Darkness moving through it towards Sora. A few seconds later, the portal opened before Sora and the others. Roxas remained inside as he looked at his Somebody with impatient written across his face.
“Stop shouting and let's go,” he said waiting for the others to enter so they could help Rapunzel and her husband.

Rapunzel placed her hand over heart when she heard about the portals that she had been traveling throw. The thought that her only way around was placing her and her friends in danger terrified the princess. “But if that is true.” She thought as she looked at Roxas. “Then wouldn’t that be true for him as well. Plus what chose do I have? I need to get back home to make sure everyone else is okay.” She shook head as she walked next to the two boys with Pascal and Maximus following close behind the group. She would just pretend that she never heard what Sora said about those portals.
The group walked further into the woods when they came upon a cottage. “What a cute cottage.” Rapunzel said smiling as Sora and Roxas started to look through the windows. Rapunzel and her animal friends approached the house to but they decided to look around the wooded area. “So who is Snow White?” The princess barely got the question out of her mouth when a voice came from behind her. Her smile quickly faded. She frozen up and was unwilling to turn around. Her green eyes were raised in terror. “No! It can’t be! It is impossible.” Her mind went in to warp speed along with her heart. The flower slowly turned around but found it harder to twist her body in the direction of the voice that called to her. “You!?" She said to the women in the maroon dress with the curly, puffy, brown hair with a gray tint to show her age. “H-how?! I saw you fall from the tower. Y-you hit the ground and disintegrated into a cloud of dust! You can’t be here.” Pascal jumped off of Rapunzel’s shoulder and ran for Roxas to hide on. He hissed from the Keyblader’s shoulder trying to sound threatening. Maximus was as frozen to the spot just a Rapunzel was.
Sora and Roxas took to questioning the women. Rapunzel made a slashing motion across her throat to try and warn the bladers not to make this woman angry. Gothel just brushed them off as they were nothing and turned her attention back to the girl with the golden hair. The princess once again tensed up. She stood at attention as if she was an officer listening to its drill sergeant. She only looked down in shame as the women introduced herself as Rapunzel’s Mom. It was true, despite how much the princess wanted to deny that claim. Gothel had taken care of her as she grew up. She feed her, clothed her, and kept her warm and dry with a roof over her head. All that was wrong with the woman’s motherly claim was that she had kidnapped the princess from her real mother and kept her hidden from the world because of Rapunzel’s unique ability.
The Princess winced as Mother Gothel knew the things that Rapunzel had done. The women knew all about her leaving her kingdom because of her hair and about the Portals that Sora warned her not to travel through. “It was you, wasn’t it?! You lead me here. You knew that I was looking for away to hide this.” She pulled on her hair. “You took advantage of me yet again!” The fear and surprise of Gothel’s return had worn off and the princess of the sunlight took to trying to talk over the other woman. It looked like it was a typical mother and teenage daughter fight. “And I can’t believe I feel for it again!” She yelled.
Rapunzel got quite when Gothel said, “As long as you are who you are, you will always need to mend what is undone, fix what is broken... you crave trouble and chaos, my dear, there will always be darkness in your own heart.” Once again the princess found her hand being placed over her heart. “My heart is filled with darkness?” The young girl thought with a pained look on her face. “What if she is right? What do I do? I can’t go back like this…I can’t let Flynn see me like this.” Rapunzel head was swimming with thoughts and she was beginning to feel sick.
Rapunzel was about to refuse to go with Gothel when women showed her the image of Flynn passed out on the floor of some dark place. “Flynn!” The girl yelled in a panic at the projection as if the man resting inside would wake up at the sound of her voice. “NO! Give him back!” She ordered Gothel. “Please don’t hurt him! I will go….” But once again the girl was cut off, this time by Sora and Roxas’ outburst. Both boys summoned their Keyblades and Roxas moved in between Gothel and the princess. Pascal remained on Roxas’s shoulder and put up both fists at the woman that was threatening his friends. Maximus also stood next to Roxas rearing up on his hind legs. “No please stop!” The princess begged her friends. Suddenly there was a flash and Rapunzel shield her eyes. When she opened them again she found that she was alone with Mother Gothel in the woods.
Rapunzel’s mouth hung half opened. “Sora, Roxas, Pascal, Maximus!“ The princess choked out their names as she ran to the place where each of them once stood. “No.” She cried as she fell to her hand and knees where Sora would have been. “Bring them back! Please bring them back!” The princess found herself being forced by her arm to follow Gothel. She thrashed around yelling for her friends and trying to escape her “mother’s” grasp. “Let me go!” She dug her heels in the forest floor and pulled back but it was no use, the evil woman just made one good tag forward and Rapunzel would stumble forward as well. The young girl tried throwing her body around and running in the opposite direction but just ended up hurting her wrist. After awhile the flower caved in and stopped fighting. She reluctantly followed behind Gothel. As she walked she would reach up every so often and pull a strand of her hair out. The hair would turn brown and she would then drop it on the ground. She would repeat this so that if the others would come back to that spot then they would have a trail to follow.
They two women approached a large castle. Rapunzel looked up at it and thought of her own kingdom. Were they safe? Have those Heartless creatures over run the land? Could they be stopped? All those question and more played in the young girl’s head. “What is this place?" She asked Mother Gothel in a casual conversation way. “How exactly did I get here? What are those portals? That one boy said that if I kept using them then eventually it would corrupt my heart.” She giggled a bit as she talked to the other women. “I find that statement to be a bit strange since the other boy came from the portal too and he didn’t seem to be effected by it. And how about those weapons, strange right?” The princess looked around for an escape. She knew that Flynn was somewhere inside this castle. She would have to get away from Gothel, find Flynn, and then find her other friends.
Rapunzel and Gothel passed under a giant chandelier inside the palace. The young girl smirked and with her free hand was able to toss a section of her hair up to wrap around the giant light. “Ummm Mother?” She said to Gothel with a rather innocent air to her voice. “Remember what I said to you before you tragic fall from the tower? You know the one where I said that I would never stop fighting you. I would fight you for the rest of my life.” The flower paused for a response. “Well…That holds true even today!” She said as she tugged on the section of her hair that was wrapped on the chandelier above their heads. The princess used the momentum of the pull to help wrench her arm from Gothel’s grasp. The extra pull she got from her escape made the Chandelier give way and Rapunzel pull the light down, jumping backwards out of the way. Dust erupted as the chandelier hit the floor. Rapunzel was about to make a run for it when a part of what Gothel said earlier came back to her “As long as you are who you are, you will always need to mend what is undone, fix what is broken.”
Rays of sunlight broke throw the clouds outside and came throw the windows. The rays made the dust glitter. As the partials cleared away Rapunzel was still standing on the other side of chandelier. She had her hands full of sections of her hair. The sun lit her features up. Her eyes were narrowed and her mouth was curled into a devilish smile as she took to a fighting stance. “Your right. I will have to mend and fix my own mistakes. I shouldn’t leave it to someone else to fix. I guess mother really does know best.” Rapunzel wiped her hair and aimed for Gothel’s neck.
(OOC: Feel free to take control of Maximus and Pascal if you wish while they are with you guys. If not then I will have them react to what is going on in my next post
