Pain ran through the young boy's body as he sat down holding an arm over his chest due to an injury he had received against the Masked Man. Cid had left him alone in the same place the landed in when the first came to this world as he went off into the world to go and vent about his frustration about his ex-friend Cloud. He looked back down with a sigh as he leaned his body back as he thought about the battle. It was definitely not an easy one, the Masked Man out powered him completely. The difference between their powers were like night and day. How they had manage to drive them back he wasn't to sure. Well sure he was because it was more than obvious that Cid was the only reason they were able to push the two back. Something he felt horrible about, he wanted to help out the best he could. Though even now he was just pathetically weak. He wasn't sure if it was just because of who his opponents were or if it just because he was that pathetic. He tried though, he always tried to be strong to help protect these worlds for the light, but obviously he wasn't doing a very good job. It was something he honestly didn't know how to change to save his life.
He looked around the plaza seeing all the people. He was greatly annoyed that they were all still the same, the whole world still warped. Sure when they first drew back the Masked Man's hold over this world nothing turned to normal. They had to journey to this thing called the 'key hole' and with his keyblade and Cid believed that it might be able to fix it however even with his trying to fix the keyhole nothing happened. The world was still the same. This world may now have belonged to the light but these people weren't free in it. It made him feel even worse, he wanted to fight that masked figure because he thought beating him would turn this world back to normal, but it didn't. He hoped not many places were like this, because he would hate to see others like this.
A small groan escaped his lips as he moved a bit, his body in pain still. The young keyblader sighing lightly as he closed his eyes and and resting. His body was just begging for rest, and the warm climate of this world made it feel kind of nice. Despite the result of things of how his body ended up he was feeling pretty comfortable, psychically wise anyways. Hopefully he would be able to think more clearly after some rest. And if any threat came by, Dawn and Dusk would be able to warn him about it in time when needed. With that secure thought in mind, Night slowly began drifting into sleep. Playtime's Over The battle had been won. There was no way that Cid and Night were going to be able to overcome their power... So, why did the Masked Man order for them to fall back? Cloud was utterly confused by this, confronting Neutral's Knight as they found a safe hiding place outside the castle.
“I don't understand, we-“
“Patience, Cloud. There's a method to my madness, just watch and wait... I need to be certain of something...”
Cloud listened as Cid barked orders, helping guide Night to turn the world back to the Light. Still, something happened that was unexpected to cloud: the corruption didn't vanish! But... Wasn't the corruption part of he world fighting to become Neutral..? This didn't make any sense to the blond. He just shook his head, trying to make sense of it before the Masked Man's chuckle filled his ears.
“Excellent... This is even better than I thought... There's no reason to defend the worlds at all...” The cloaked figure turned around. “Come Cloud, we've got business elsewhere.” Cloud shook his head.
“Not yet, I've got business with the kid,” Cloud told him.
“What business do you have with such inferior beings?”
“...A promise to a friend,” Cloud replied quietly, “It won't take long, and it doesn't get in our way.”
“As you wish, Cloud. You know where to go.” with that, the Masked Man vanished with the same 'pop' in which he'd arrived in Agrabah. Cloud looked back over the city, just shaking his head. There was absolutely nothing but red flags going up in his head. What had he gotten himself into?
Not only had they left the battle prematurely, but the Masked Man actually seemed happy about their losing the world to the Light. Was it because the world was still corrupted? Wasn’t the world supposedly corrupted only because it was fighting against becoming Neutral? Shouldn’t it end if it’s not Neutral anymore? Something wasn’t right... Especially with how the Masked Man had called them “inferior beings”... He just shook his head. He knew he didn’t understand it fully, and he couldn’t be jumping to conclusions quite yet. Besides, he had to go through with what he’d told Dawn when he spoke to the spirit in the crater of what was once Deep Jungle. It was time to take the spirits.
Cloud had warned Night, there was no way the kid had forgotten so easily. Get in his way, the spirits would be gone until he proved himself worthy of them... That he didn’t need to rely on Light and Darkness to win his battles. With a flap of his wings he flew over the palace, before landing silently in the center of the plaza. Standing tall, his eyes wandered across the zombie-like people around him. It was almost as if nothing had changed. It was a hollow victory for them.
The One Winged Demon started walking through the plaza, his eyes wandering across his surroundings to spot any signs of Night. He would be the only non zombie after all, not to mention he looked nothing like the commoners of this world. It wouldn’t take long he thought, the quicker this was over the quicker he could rendezvous with the Masked Man at their next target: Beast's Castle.

A flash of light came from Night's wrist and instantly blue eyes opened and Night jerked forward from his rested position, though a loud groan escaped his lips when he did so as he grabbed his chest in pain. His body shaking from his injuries, the sudden movement making his body sting in pain. It took a moment, but eventually his body adjusted to the pain. The keyblader looked up to see the spiky haired blond man again. What was his name again? Cloud? Yeah that was it.
"'Heh seems like blondy is back for a rematch, well I will be more than happy to oblige'" Dusked laughed in Night's head who just shook his head to deny his spirit. 'You're not taking control again, I don't think my body can take it' he grumbled to him in his mind. Which was true, the last time Dusk took control he was so drained of energy, and he felt like he did now. To give him any energy now would be suicide.
'Tch you act as if you have a say in this, from what I can tell he has something in mind, and that might be trying to take you out boy'
'Dusk that is enough!' Dawn yelled within the boy's head.
And suddenly the young keyblader noticed around him that it went all dark again. It was like before back in deep jungle when Dusk had taken control of him. Though it was different this time as there was some light as well. He looked to his left to see Dusk in his complete armor, and to his right was Dawn in his full armor glaring at his brother. 'Night is right in his current form he isn't strong enough to even sustain our weaker states let alone your full state'
'hmph'
Dawn sighed, 'Night, I can feel that you are scared right now, do me a favor and just rest and let me take care of this' |
'W-what are you going to do Dawn?' 'I am going to protect you in every way I possibly can, and by the end of all this everything is going to be alright' Dawn reassured him that everything was going to be alright. The young keyblader could feel Dawn's hand on a shoulder as blue eyes looked up at the wolf warrior to see a smile on his face. Night was always scared to let either Dusk or Dawn control him. Mainly because he couldn't recall much of anything when they did take control of him. He was afraid of someone else just controlling him. But he felt he could trust Dawn, the spirit had always given his words of comfort when he needed it most. His body still trembled as Night put his head down and nodded to him. 'O-okay... I-I can trust you right?' he asked in a shaky voice, obviously terrified about giving his body up for Dawn to control and deal with Cloud. 'Of course you can Night, your survival means our survival and I wouldn't ever do anything to jeopardize that, now sleep ' Dawn ordered watching as the boy's eyes began to get heavy, his smile widening giving him one of comfort, 'And always remember this I'm doing what I must to protect you' With that said, Night closed his completely as he fell into Dawn's body, on the other side of the of his' subconscious Dusk just glared at his brother, "And just what are you planning brother ? Dusk questioned right now now trusting him himself. "As I said, I'm doing what I must to protect our host, you don't need to worry,"' and with that said a light suddenly took over Night's whole subconscious as Dawn took over his heart and body for what would be the last time for quite awhile.
On the outside Cloud would have noticed that after his first jerk of the body Night's body hadn't moved a muscle, there was a tear that had fallen from his cheek but other than that there was a blank stare in his eyes, almost as if nobody was home on his mind. Then suddenly a light flashed on his wrist as life returned to his eyes. The boy's body moving again as he painfully stood up, a small chuckle escaping his lips, "My this body took more of a beating than I thought," Dawn had chuckled lightly before looking toward Cloud, "I'm assuming you're hear to do what you said before and take me and my brother away? And if so there is one thing I must be sure of before that happens" he said in a very serious tone, part of him hoping Cloud understand what Dawn wanted before he separated himself from Night. The Time Has Come Cloud was certain that Night had gone in this direction after the battle had concluded. As his eyes wandered across the faces of the zombie-like citizens of Agrabah, he pushed his way through the crowd as he searched for any sign of the kid. Night'd certainly done better than he’d expected him to, especially against an opponent who was even stronger than Cloud. Still, it didn’t change the fact that Night had lost... Even worse, throughout the entire fight he heavily relied on Dawn and the Light in order to battle against the Masked Man.. Even though it hadn't been Dusk and the Darkness, it was still too risky for him to continue using those forces so heavily in his battles. Cloud had warned Dawn in Deep Crater, and now it was time to go through with his promise. He just hoped this would have the effect he yearned for it to, and that one day the kid would understand what he was doing.
He just needed to find him. How hard could it be to find him? Cloud thought that Night would’ve stuck out a little more... Then again, he was probably hiding trying to recover from the battle. With a flap of his wing Cloud took to the sky, landing atop one of the buildings while he scanned the plaza for signs of the keybearer. Would Dawn help him out? Maybe... Or the kid might lash out at him for what had happened in the battle. Either way, it would be rather difficult to find Night... But still, it would be worth keeping him from going down the path he had chosen into oblivion. ...The question was, why did he care? He didn't exactly know... Perhaps it was because of the kid's connection to his failure in Deep Jungle... Or because he reminded Cloud of who he was when he was trying to figure out his place in the war. Whatever the reason, he was going to do what he could to help the kid.
When Cloud finally spotted Night, it was because of the sudden jerk from one of the spirits taking the body away from the kid. With a sigh he leaped from the top of the building, flapping his wing to flutter before he landed in front of Night. He kept a hand readily upon Ultima Weapon’s handle in case Dusk was the one taking over the kid in order to start a fight. He didn’t want to be caught off guard. His fears were soon quelled however, when the flash of light erupted from the boy to hint that it was Dawn who was taking over his body. The voice confirmed it, and Cloud released the sword to cross his arms as Dawn continued to speak. He already knew why the One Winged Demon was here, that made things easier. No explanations needed, he could just take them then continue on his way. In response to the question Cloud nodded, before quietly saying “Go on,”, giving the spirit a chance to ask whatever it wished.
After all, for holding up its part of the agreement it deserved to be heard.

Dawn smiled when the blond warrior allowed him the chance to ask his request. He was worried that Cloud wouldn't even allow him the chance and just take him away. Heck he was surprised he didn't try to get him during battle. Though it wasn't like he could have taken them there anyways since it was impossible to take them while in armor. He stood a bit quite for awhile as he was beginging to second guess himself about this whole situation. He honestly didn't want to leave Night alone and defenseless, the boy had no real battle experience on his own. How was he going to defend himself when they weren't there to protect him guild him?
"Well two things really now that I think about it," he said with a small chuckle trying still not to give away his worries. "First if I you would be so kind as to heal this body again, I'd do it myself but my host hasn't learned that ability of mine, and I can't use what he hasn't learned," he asked with a weak smile. He wasn't to sure if Cloud would comply but it was worth a shot in asking. After all the worst thing he could say to that was no. However to his next request he wouldn't allow the warrior to say no to, he would either accept or he would leave once again. And he would make sure to not give the warrior another chance to get his host to take them away.
"As for my next request, I will repeat this again, my host has never been in a real fight on his own before, and I do fear for his life, not just because he is our Medium, but because I feel sorry for him. I care for him like a younger brother I suppose is one way to put it," he thought for a moment not to sure if that was the way to describe the way he cared for the kid. Maybe like a parent would his cub or something? No probably not, but at least the point was given. "Well that's probably not the best term for it but oh well you get the point right? Anyways I want you to promise that you will do what you can to keep him safe. I don't mean tail him 24/7 or anything like that, just when you can check on him. And I swear if he ends up dead," at this point his eyes glared at Cloud threateningly, "Putting up with my brother's attack on the darkness in your heart won't be the only thing you have to worry about." He told him darkly almost sounding like his brother for a bit. He may have been a being absent of darkness but it didn't mean he couldn't be a threat. "I have lost one host already during my time like this, and I do not want to lose another any time soon, especially when he is this young.
You promise that and I will hand myself and my brother over willingly," he said as he removed the bracelet from Night's wrist, but kept a good grip on it to show he wasn't giving himself over just yet. "But if you can't hold up your end of the deal then I will leave here and now and I will be sure you never get the chance to take us away from him again." Watch Your Tongue As Dawn continued to talk, Cloud nodded silently in response to his first request. It was simple enough, make sure the kid could leave here of his own power in case something showed up that he wasn’t ready to face. He was sure something the likes of the Masked Man wouldn’t appear, but still there were several enemies that could be lurking about. The smile made him feel like the spirit honestly did want what was best for Night, just like Cloud did. Perhaps he wasn’t trying to corrupt him after all, maybe it was just Dusk... But then again, if he was pushing Night to always meddle and help whenever he could... There had to be a balance, he couldn’t go around playing hero blinded by the Light. There was no telling what the spirit’s true motives were, Cloud had to remember that. With this in mine, he continued to listen to what Dawn had to say.
The spirit was afraid that without them, Night wouldn’t be able to handle himself. It seemed as if they needed a host to balance each other out, Dawn and Dusk, almost a sort of living battle like that waging inside of Cloud. He reiterated that he cared for Night, and that he wanted to make sure Night would be safe without them until he earned them back. When the spirit narrowed its eyes with its threat in the end Cloud narrowed his eyes, allowing the spirit to finish before he began his retort.
“Don’t think you’ll push me around with your idle threats, the two of you are nothing I can’t handle,” Cloud began, showing he wasn’t going to just be used as some tool by these spirits in the meantime of them being separated from their chosen host. “Regardless... I intended to do as much; I don’t want to see the kid dead in a ditch. That’s not the point of this; not looking out for him goes against what I’m trying to do. He’ll be fine, trust me on that.” As Cloud finished, his eyes wandered to the bracelets in the hand of the boy. So he was preparing to keep up his end of the deal, even with the doubt in Cloud's intentions. Perhaps he knew the futility of the action, Cloud was going to do whatever he wanted regardless of what was said. Returning his gaze to that of Dawn, he continued. “Even if I hadn’t agreed, you’d be coming with me. I’m doing exactly as I said I’d do, and I’m going to see it through. Anything else before I finish this?” Cloud asked, not moving forward to take the bracelets away quite yet. He was going to wait until the conversation was over, as to prevent this from going the wrong way before Dawn was ready to give himself up. He was trying to do what was best for the kid, not be the villain.

"They're not idle treats, it something I fully intend to go through if you can't keep your promise, don't underestimate my brother and myself when we're actually working together," Dawn had replied to his comment about how he thought his brother and him weren't any kind of threat to him. He may have beaten his brother in battle but dealing with their forces attacking the heart was completely different. Though he was free to think whatever he wanted because Dawn knew it was different. He probably would have stayed on the subject however when Cloud relived his fears about keeping Night safe he no longer felt he had the need for the threat. Once again a soft friendly smile going onto his face. "It makes me happy to hear you say that, at least I know now he won 't be completely own his own then.."
Even as Cloud mentioned that he would have done what he wanted even if he hadn't promised anything. He didn't get just how wrong he was, if he wanted to stay away he could get away. Though it wasn't something he felt like arguing about. After all the last thing he wanted was to be arguing with his temporary host. The two of them didn't need the tension, "Right, whatever you say warrior," he answered with a shake of his head, a friendly smile still on his face. "Nothing else needs to be said, I just hope Night doesn't react to badly when he gets back control," a slightly sad look went on his face at the thought of it, "Just please try not to hurt him too much if he does come at you, you must understand it will be like you're taking friends away from him." And with that said he walked over with the bracelets in hand about to hand them over before recalling something.
"Oh right before I forget, right now I'm only able to keep my brother back because I completely wiped out the darkness in my host's heart, he has no darkness to feed off of and take control," he tried to explain to him, "Though once I give you this he will realize what happened and will try to harm you, I'll be doing most of the work on keeping him back, but I'm warning you now to brace yourself, he won't have as much affect on you like he does on Night since we're going to be new to you."
With that warning in Dawn held out his hand that held the bracelets, allowing them to hand so that Cloud to easily remove them from him. "Please, just keep him safe," were dawn's final words before Cloud would get them. The moment Cloud would have taken the the bracelet and it was remove from Night's form he would have heard a voice in his head.
"'Oh HELL no Dawn!'" The voice of Dusk would have yelled and instantly the SOLDIER should have felt an attack on the darkness within his heart, thought just as suddenly also felt it retracted as Dawn was now joining the battle and holding his brother back. Both bracelets would be glowing lightly as the two spirits dished it out, Cloud may feeling a bit of pain as the two battled within his own subconscious. Though at least neither were attacking him directly.
As all that went in his subconscious Night would have finally regained control of his own body. The young boy feeling tired from the taking over but there was one thing he would have noticed. The power of light and dark gone. 'Dawn? Dusk?' he questioned feeling a bit worried before noticing that Cloud held his bracelets, "No! Give them back!" he yelled as he would have tried to take his spirits back as he tried to step forward. All seems lost Cloud remained silent at the quip from the spirit, not at all intimidated by the thought of the two spirits working together. His heart was a lot stronger than the kid’s, and he was sure of his path that he had to take. He might have doubt cloud him from time to time, but it didn’t stop him from moving forward. Not anymore, he wasn’t the puppet nor the one who ran off to die anymore. He would do what was best for the worlds, for his friends, even if it was the difficult decisions that no one would understand. Due to this, there was likely little the spirits could do to shake him even if they tried.
He then nodded at the smile of relief that spread across Dawn’s... Night’s, face.. Cloud knew that the kid relied on the spirits due to his inexperience, unknowingly putting himself down the dangerous path that had swept so many others into this senseless war. The only way the kid was going to get better was to learn to stand on his own two feet, and to rely on his heart and not the Light or Darkness that would fight to blind and cloud his judgment. He definitely had the heart for it, but at the same time there was only so much that he could handle. With all the Warriors of Chaos running ramped as of late, someone had to look out for the kid and well... He didn’t see any other volunteers.
It was obvious that the spirit didn’t believe Cloud’s confidence in being able to detain them was valid, but Cloud just brushed it off. Now really wasn’t the time for pointless arguments. It didn’t matter what could’ve or would’ve happened if things were different, all that mattered was that Dawn was handing itself over willingly to the Imaginary SOLDIER. He would honor the light one’s request, and once Night proved himself worthy then he would get back what he’d lost and be stronger than he’d ever imagined becoming. Heh, maybe he’d become even stronger than Sora one day.
“He’ll be alright. Just needs time,” Cloud reassured the spirit, nodding in agreement to the spirit’s request of not harming Night. Once he came to Cloud intended on backing off, reminding the kid of the reality he’d chosen before leaving to meet up with his own ‘master’. Speaking of which... He’d always assumed Night was the master of these two spirits, that they were pent up against their own will within the bracelets. That could be said about Dusk, Cloud assumed from their encounter in Deep Crater, but... Dawn just referred to them as Night’s friends. Was that truly how he felt about his weapons, or was that just the spirit trying to pull on his heart strings? Or was it more than that, maybe the sad look, the words... It was showing the true emotions that Dawn felt for Night, and he really did just want him to be safe so they could reunite once again.
What really caught Cloud’s attention, though, was Dawn’s mentioning of wiping all of the Darkness out of the kid’s heart. Was that true, was Night’s heart pure of only of the Light now? No, it couldn’t be, the balance of Light and Darkness in one’s heart was much more complicated than that and it would take more than simply wishing it one way or the other to make it so. Besides, Cloud doubted the Dark spirit would allow the balance within the kid to go so far off balance. Instead of asking for clarification though, Cloud decided to save that conversation for another time. He was warned that Dusk was going to try and attack him through the Darkness in his heart, but assured him that he’d be able to handle it for now. Cloud had no doubt about that, and reached forward to grasp the bracelets from Night’s hand.
“I will,” Cloud promised, pulling the bracelets away from Night just as the voice entered his mind. He immediately recognized it as Dusk’s, then cried out as the spirit attacked the great Darkness that lay dormant within him. Even though the spirits were new to him, Cloud’s Light and Darkness were far greater than Night’s and thus left him more vulnerable to attack by the spirits. A dark aura flared around the blond, his pupils narrowing to slits for just an instant before a flash of Light from the other bracelet signaled Dawn’s entering the battle in attempt to bring a balance back within his heart. Cloud grasped his chest, wincing a little again. He glanced down at the two artifacts as they glowed, feeling the battle continue on into his subconscious. Though it nagged at his heart, it wasn’t the massive battle it began as and allowed him to refocus on what he was doing. As Night came to, Cloud removed the armlet from his left wrist, putting on the bracelets on before tucking them beneath the armlet to hide them from prying eyes. Night’s outcry brought Cloud’s attention back to him, and without a word he escaped into the air with a flap of his wing before landing nimbly on a nearby rooftop.
“It may not feel like it, but trust me... Trust Dawn. We’re doing this because it’s what’s best, you need to learn to stand on your own two feet without using Light or Darkness. When you’re stronger and you’ve proven yourself they will be yours. Don’t forget that, you haven’t lost them for good.” Cloud told Night, spreading his wing in preparation to fly off. He remained though, giving the kid a chance to speak his mind before he’d take off and send Night on his journey.

Once the wing was gone blue eyes weakly looked up as once arm help his side in pain. The keyblader still hurting greatly from his battle with the Mask Man. Dang it of all times this guy had to come why did it have to be now!? Though he couldn't help but wonder just how he got his bracelets from him. 'Dawn must have lost to his guy was well,' Night, he thought to himself, the thought of Dawn giving himself up willingly to this guy to leave him defenseless never even crossed his mind. Blue eyes glared at the blond warrior as he ended up on the roof of the building. Somewhere where he couldn't get to with his pained body. This was beyond what he was used to.
His stance stumbled a bit, still feeling weak as he listened to everything Cloud had to say. The look in his face very confused. Why did he mean when he said 'we'? Or when he said 'trust Dawn'? Was he saying this because Dawn was part of it or just because now he had them. Though why weren't they fighting back with him? Heck he would figure at least Dusk would. He thought back a few moments back recalling that dark aura.. maybe that was dusk and this Cloud guy was able to somehow keep them both at bay? Yeah that had to be it, but still what did he mean about this whole not depend on dark and light? "Wait so you're just taking them just like that from me!? Leaving me no way to defend myself!?" he questioned. If this thing was about getting him stronger how the frag was he suppose to get stronger when he didn't know how to fight and make himself stronger. How was he suppose to get stronger without Dusk and Dawn's help?
"Please I don't know how to fight without them you can't just suddenly take them away!" he pleaded to the guy, fighting hard to keep tears back from his eyes. He didn't like this feeling of loneliness, he felt empty inside now. With his spirits with him there was always this presence with him. Like there was someone there to keep him safe but now...... Now there was nothing and it drove him into slight panic. It was like all those nights when he was first free from being a slave. Having to be on his own, defend himself on his own, live on his own. He didn't like it then and he wasn't liking it now, this guy couldn't just take his only comfort away from him. It's for the best, kid It was clear as day that Night was still hurt from his encounter, flinching and holding himself from the wounds he’d sustained. Dawn wasn’t kidding about how damaged his host’s body had been after all, there was no reason for Night to fake it. Night’s face was filled with confusion to Cloud’s words, while the imaginary SOLDIER’s face remained stoic and emotionless as he kept his gaze focused on the kid. Hidden from Night was the inner battle between Dawn and Dusk that raged within Cloud’s heart, the later trying to pull Cloud towards the Darkness for what he’d done to their former host. “I warned Dawn last time we met this would happen when you crossed my path, that’s why he gave himself willingly to me. You’ll be alright, you’ve still got someone watching over you,” Cloud told Night, “You know more than you think, you’re a keybearer.”Cloud felt pity for Night, watching as the tears started to stream down his cheeks. He was losing the only thing he felt that gave him protection, possibly even friends if what Dawn said was true to both the spirit and the boy. He sighed, shaking his head as he turned his back on Night and flared his wing. The Masked Man was probably somewhere nearby waiting for him, and he couldn’t keep his ‘master’ waiting much longer. There was no telling what he’d do to the kid if Cloud tested his patience, something that the blond couldn’t risk happening. He’d promised Dawn that he’d take care of and watch out for the kid when he could, and it was a promise he’d intended to keep. He flapped his wing and bent his knees, preparing to take off and leave him behind when a thought occurred to him: In his condition, it was unlikely that Night was going to make it out of Agrabah, much less survive anywhere else. He relaxed his body and sighed, standing tall once more while a green glow overtook his hand. He took a step back, turning towards Night to hold the hand out towards him and cast Cura, the green glow transferring to Night while it restored many of his wounds before it faded away to nothing. Turning his back once more, he told Night one last thing. “Remember how you fought with them, and practice. You’re not stupid, I’m sure you know many of the swings and attacks they taught you without using Light and Darkness. Use them to build up your strength, and when you prove yourself to me you can depend on yourself they’re yours.”With that, Cloud spread his wing once more and took off into the sky with a powerful flap. Within seconds all Night could see was a spec in the sky. The One Winged Demon looked over the scenery of Agrabah one final time, sighing at how it hadn’t at all changed with returning to the Light. Something was wrong, but he just couldn’t place it. He didn’t want to accuse the Masked Man, he was too powerful to take on in a confrontation on his own. He just needed to bide his time and wait... He’d figure out what was going on soon enough, and continue with his mission to bring balance back to the worlds. That singular thought in mind, Cloud flew out of sight towards his next destination. ~Cloud Strife has left the thread~

“I warned Dawn last time we met this would happen when you crossed my path....'
Night heard him explain, blue eyes blinking at him in confusion. Wait he had warned Dawn about this? No... that couldn't be right Dawn would have told him about this if that were the case wouldn't he? It wasn't like Dawn to just keep him in the dark like this. No, this guy had to be lying. Though he was still confused what did he mean that he still had someone looking over him? Of course he didn't not with out them? How was he suppose to survive!? He couldn't go back to the same life style he had before Dawn and Dusk, it just wasn't fair for him to be doing this. He looked up with him in anger still fighting back his tears, "What does being a keyblader have to do with any of this!? It doesn't change the fact that I don't know what I'm doing without them! I wouldn't be alive now without them and now you're just taking them away with no warning to ME," he growled even if Dawn was given a warning HE wasn't and he felt he should have some say in this kind of thing.
The keyblader watched as he as the blond man just did nothing but turn his back to him. His eyes widening more in panic as the realization that he was going to be left alone was becoming more and more of a reality. "No please! he cried out to Cloud trying to run forward, but after a few steps he fell to the sand the pain in his body increasing at the sudden fall. He was slowly, able to get back to his hands and knees with one arm covering his chest still in great pain as his body shook. His head down in complete defeat as he understood there was nothing he could do to get Dawn and Dusk back. He allows his tears of fear and frustration fall, annoyed with himself that he couldn't do anything, Night not noticing as Cloud turned and suddenly casted some sort of healing spell on him. When he noticed the green glow the young teen looked up to see Cloud had casted the spell, looking at himself as he could just feel most of his injuries being healed. He wasn't completely healed but he was much better compared to before.
Again he looked up to Cloud as he spoke once more as he spoke telling him a way to train himself. "Prove myself? the keyblader couldn't help but question not understanding his words. He covered his eyes slightly to block the sun as he watched Cloud fly up into the sky with that demon wing of his. So this was it... he was alone now, completely on his own. He growled lightly as he just punched the ground in frustration very unsure what to do with himself now........
