From a shower of light, the proud, and stoic Warrior emerged upon a grassy field, which seemed to expand for miles. The soft grass crunched with a soothing sound beneath the weight of his armored greaves, following the protector of light with each solemn step he made. There was much to think about following his battle with Garland, as well as his meeting in near seclusion with both Cosmos and Tidus. The path upon which he walked was an uncertain one for the time being, for many webs of chaos continued to tie the worlds to a grim downward spiral of fate. There were many threats to deal with, and with additional numbers to the enemy, as well as the Warriors of Chaos lurking amongst the worlds somewhere. The biggest threat remained dimmed among the shadows, and had not brought a significant spotlight to itself yet, though given the number of troubling ploys going through the worlds as per Tidus' confession, the Warrior remained certain that it would be best to apply his efforts to at least one of these issues. A calm breeze swept over his armored shoulders, through his hair, and beyond into the field expanding before him; the creation of a peaceful symphony was at hand in nature's orchestra.
The Warrior contemplated whether or not this world, which remained foreign and unknown to him at the time, could be the harboring protection of any possible foes belonging to Chaos' ranks. Though from what he had seen so far since his arrival, he was beginning to doubt his first assumptions about this place. It seemed to be at an unnerving peace within itself, for even as the Warrior continued to stride onward in the ruse of the calming winds, something inside his heart gave him a dreaded foreboding feeling when it came to this world's energy. The light that continued to shine upon this world seemed wavering, as though it could slip back into twilight, and eventually darkness, with the mere tip of the scales. Crossing over a hillside with palm trees, aquamarine eyes then set sights upon the grandest crystal formation the Warrior had ever seen. The sound of nearby water caught his senses, as he briefly glanced to his right toward the audible crashing of waves upon shore, however he returned his focus instantly to the crystallized form of a metro-utopia called Cocoon.
The form of the crystal dome was magnificent, despite how much it seemed to be deteriorating. A thought of wonder amused the Warrior as he stood silently unarmed, gazing upon a vessel that held former purpose to guide millions of souls through Etro's Gate, now only a landmark. "A testament to a truly chaotic past..." mused the Warrior out loud to himself, trying to find the words of which to go with this moment of awestruck. They were hard to pin down with words though, these thoughts, and they continued to elude him further as the Paragon continued his journey toward the crystal continent. When he was closer after twenty minutes of traversing a grand open field, he came to see that the enormous globe of crystal, was in fact held on a strong support in the form of an enormous pillar, stretching from the earth to the base of the cracked shell of the behemoth sphere.
(How long has this been here?)
The thoughts in the Warrior's mind did nothing to ease the uneasy feeling he was getting from this world, and they only sought to provoke his suspicions of impending darkness. Was no world in the Sea of Stars truly safe from the influences of discord, and was harmony truly doomed to only a moment's reprieve? The Paragon of Harmony closed his eyes slowly, and shook his head in reply to his own thoughts. The darkness would not suffice so long as a single bright light continued to shine, for even a candle could hold back the most deepest of shadows in a slow burn. If he was needed to be the wick that sustained that last flame of light, the the Warrior would remain vigilant to keep it from going out. His mind continued to wander about the crystal monument, however he turned his back on it, to gaze back toward the coastal town he had journeyed from to make his investigation. For a moment he walked on, away from the crystallized Cocoon, until he stopped, and cast a glance back at it over his shoulder. "A reminder of a past that should never be forgotten...this place is a battlefield," he paused, then looked around the field, where in his mind he expected to see the many souls of warriors and men long departed, yet only met the sight of soft, green grass. "Though a question remains...did the evil die with its endeavor, or does it remain?"

(ooc: I apologize if this post spoils anything for those that haven't yet finished XIII/XIII-2) Theme for this Post: Caius' Theme: Final Fantasy XIII-2 OSTPulse, the new home to the residents of Cocoon after Lightning, Sazh, Fang, Hope, Snow and Vanille managed to defeat Barthandulus and Orphan. The Crystal Pillar the Warrior found himself staring out was in fact a symbol of that battle, as Vanille and Fang sacrificed themselves to become Ragnarok to prevent Cocoon from crashing into Pulse, trapping themselves deep within the Pillar itself. This place..which now lay on the outskirts of the capital of the new world Cocoon's citizens had formed on Pulse called New Bodhum was indeed a battlefield. Just recently had this place played host to yet another battle, one that the forces of Light had lost. A place that was constantly watched by the one who had led the forces of Darkness to victory over the Light that day. The Chaos itself, one could feel it grow stronger as this man appeared. Clad in purple and black armor with violet colored hair and a violet headband with a feather on his forehead, one could possibly feel intimidated looking at this man if they weren't skilled in battle. His hand reached up for the bonelike hilt of the sword, Ragnarok which rested upon his back, silently taking it in hand as he watched the Warrior before him. This Warrior, he practically radiated the Light, and one who had seen as many battles as he had during his time protecting each Seeress knew only one thing. He was here to try to liberate the world from his control, the control he had worked hard to take away from Lightning..and well, that just couldn't happen. Watching the man silently from his perch on the cliffs he crouched some before leaping into the area surrounding the crystal pillar, reversing the blade so that it pointed downward. As he descended, red energy circled his body briefly as he entered his Commando Stance, stabbing the blade deep into the ground upon landing to unleash a powerful wave of violet energy towards the Warrior of Light. The Blast Wave technique itself was one of his strongest attacks. Smirking some as he withdrew the blade from the ground following the attack he held it out before him defensively before Paradigm Shifting again, his body now briefly surrounded by green energy before he went into his Healer Stance, casting Body and Soul on himself to give him the buffs Bravery, Faith, and Regen. "I know not who you are, but you won't be taking this world from me."Abilities Used: Commando Stance: Blast Wave: Caius channels magical energy into his sword before stabbing it into the ground, sending a shockwave towards his foes. (cooldown: 2 posts) Healer Stance: Body and Soul: A support magic ability for Caius. This ability when used grants him the buffs Bravery(increases his physical power), Faith(increases the power behind his magic) and Regen(heals him continuously over time). The buffs are cast simultaneously and last for three posts. The buffs also do carry over if he transforms via Innate Summon. Cooldown: 4 posts. *Cooldown will not initiate until after the buffs wear off. Buffs: Bravery, Faith, Regen Duration: 3 posts

The endless plains of crisp green grass stretching out as far as one could see, the rocky cliff faces that dotted the area, the breeze blowing in from the horizon, rustling through the grass underfoot, carrying the clouds in the skies overhead... This world did feel a lot like home. Clearly it wasn't. That massive sphere floating within the skies a clear sign that this world was another of the countless ones connected together thanks to the efforts of both Light and Darkness. Though maybe this could have been a view of what life was like back during Sephiroth's first attempt of ending The Planet for JENOVA? That massive sphere in the sky could easily have been Meteor, though lacking the fiery orange glow as the massive rock made its way through the atmosphere. It must have been a terrifying thing to experience. Knowing there was no where to run, no where to hide. Everything was about to end because of that massive thing within the sky. Of course, this wasn't The Planet. This wasn't Gaia.
Snapping out of his thoughts, the imaginary orange skies vanishing to return this world back to how it ought originally be. Shaking his head from side to side to remove the images, Genesis looked about his small, make-shift camp site. A Tent has been erected beside a small fire where the SOLDIER had been sleeping overnight. It had been a long time since he had caught any shut-eye and he had a feeling he was going to need as much energy as he could gather today. There was a feeling within the winds, one Genesis had felt before, one he knew was a bad sign. Even so, he remained seated, a stick in hand as he poked and probed the dying embers of the campfire that had been burning throughout the night. It was nearly dead, but sitting in the middle of the ash and embers was a small canister, the sound of boiling liquid coming from within. Carefully easing it out of the hot, orange embers, the Crimson SOLDIER poured the last of the water into a small cup which had some sort of small bag with torn and crushed leaves in.
Allowing the liquid to cool as it turned a warm copper/brown colour, Genesis took the chance to get to his feet, his bright blue eyes glancing across the plains and up into the skies to observe the massive floating sphere once more... well, it appeared to be floating. He was too far away to notice the pillar. Dusting himself off and gathering his coat from inside the Tent, the SOLDIER slipped his arms into the sleeves and pulled his infamous trench upon his shoulders. Kneeling down to gather his cup from a small flat rock beside the fire, he brought the liquid to his lips and drank the beverage down with a hearty "Ahhh~" following. It was about time to move. Other then the countless creatures or fiends or whatever they were known as on this world, there were far greater powers moving towards one another, one of considerably Light and the other the far opposite. Looks like the endless War between the two factions as about to get bloody once more, either side seemingly completely oblivious to the real threat lurking out in the other worlds somewhere.
"It's a problem only Death itself will cure." Murmured the quoter of LOVELESS as he returned the cup down to the rock beside his feet. "While the forces of Light and Darkness are too interested in fighting one another, the Masked Man and his entourage are free to do nearly anything they please..." So why was he here? Why was he getting involved in this dispute between Light and Darkness? His task was to find and stop the Masked Man, not deal with pointless rivalries or petty disagreements. He sighed at the thought and shook his head from side to side as he felt the wind blow by once more, caressing his hair, rustling his coat as he swayed out behind him. It was just one of those moments where a war between the forces couldn't be ignored. There was going to be someone here who needed protecting... perhaps there was someone here who needed to be put into their place? ... But this wasn't right. Traveling from one world to the next to fight other users of the factions... It just wasn't right...
But why did he enjoy the thought of fighting newer and stronger people so much...?
"...... Tch. I must be getting old." Turning about, chuckling to himself at his own words, the Crimson SOLDIER packed away his Tent and then kicked out whatever remained of the campfire. Wouldn't want to start a fire that would spread across the plains. When all was said and down, Genesis turned about to face the massive floating sphere once more and after spawning his Angel Wing, the SOLDIER took off into the skies in a flash, leaving naught behind but a couple of black feathers. Becoming a mere dot within the skies, Genesis rocketed through the air, making his way directly for the other two big presences he could feel and sure enough, came across them at what appeared to be the start of their battle.
First was a man clad from head to toe in armour, azure in colour, with an extravagant helm. Sword and shield were his weapon choice it seemed and he reeked of near-pure Light energies. Who was this guy? Was he a warrior sent directly from Cosmos? Standing across from him however and launching an attack already, sending waves of what appeared to be violet energy in all directions, was a man clad in black and violet armour, no helm but a headband. This one was clearly of Darkness and his intent to be anything but that was proven as he attacked the other armoured figure before him. Changing direction, the Crimson SOLDIER turned about and made his way straight downwards, plummeting down like a missile. Though just before he'd collide headlong into the grassy floor below, the SOLDIER 1st Class flipped himself upright with a single, massive wing beat that kicked up a cloud of dust in all directions about him. As it settled, Genesis stood upon the rocks Caius had leaped off before attacking the Warrior, wing tucked behind his back and Rapier summoned to his hand. Glowing eyes pulsing with Mako energy were locked onto the violet and black armoured man.

Pulse.
The World where the L’Cie came from. The chosen warriors of Etro. Gifted with her blessings and capable of bringing forth mighty creatures known as Eidolons. Creatures with the same light as the Goddess of Death. The L’Cie had a weird plan. They were given a Focus and upon it’s completion, they would turn into crystal, so that they could fall in the eternal sleep. If they fail, they would become horrible creatures known as Cieth. What was the purpose of Etro with this things? Why inspire this suffering upon innocent people? They wished for nothing of this and yet, they were mere pawns to a Goddess of the Unseen Realm.
Stella gazed upon the crystallized structure that was shinning in a thousand colours under the sun light. She was also a pawn of Etro. After a near death experience, she was able to see the Light that came from the Gate of the Unseen Realm. She was gifted with powers. Not the same powers as the L’Cie had but also, unique abilities granted by the Goddess. Why? Those powers had brought nothing but sadness and despair into her life. Ever since she was forced to fight Noctis in their home world. Only because they shared the same powers. The same connection to Etro. If Etro would never grant Stella with such powers, she would have never faced Noctis.
Nor lose the one man she cared about. All due to Etro. The Goddess played with her fate like a puppet, forcing Stella to take rash decisions upon some apocalyptic event. For her love to the Goddess. Etro first, Noctis after. It has been like this ever since Stella devoted her life to learn more about the Goddess. And now… now she was in a world that knew Etro far too well. The world of Lightning, one of Etro’s chosen warriors. She needed to find the true about Etro. No matter the cost. Why place upon her so much pain and sorrow? Because the Goddess was amused by it?
No… Not anymore. The time of servitude to a wicked Goddess that did not care about the fate of those who followed her, had come to an end. Stella would no longer follow her light. Not when that light made her walk in the opposite direction of Noctis. Not when she was losing the one she loved.
The sound of something shattering the earth brought Stella to reality. Something was happening and not far for her. She could sense it. An energy as bright as the sun itself, colliding with another… as dark as night itself. An energy… related to Etro? How could it be? Stella rushed towards the battle zone, keeping her eyes on the man that released the same level of energy as Etro did. The dark and purple armor, the huge sword. Who was that man? Was he related to the Goddess? She needed to know.
But her blue eyes fell upon another familiar face. The Crimson Warrior she met on 100 Acres Wood. Genesis. What was he doing there? Was he going to fight? But against who? The Light warrior or the Dark? Stella closed her eyes as she called to herself the energies that Etro gave her. The yellow crest appeared behind her, shinning beautifully as the Princess of Tenebrae summoned her crystal rapier. Stella didn’t want to fight Genesis… but if he was about to attack the man that could provide her with answers about Etro… Stella would intervene at the cost of her own life.
“Genesis!” She screamed towards the crimson warrior, not carrying about the two other warriors.

With his mind wandering about the origins of the magnificent crystal sphere, and its relation to this mysterious new world, The Warrior had not managed to pick up the incoming auras of three different individuals. The last two did not go unnoticed, however as the first, most darkest of the three made his presence known, the impact of his blade shook the ground upon which they stood. As the wake of dark, violet energy was sent ravaging through the green grass at the Protector of Harmony, the energy could be felt almost instantly as it surged forth. Bright flashes of light filled and overcame the hands of the Paragon as he readied a defensive stance, summoning The Barbarian's Sword and Champion's Shield to his aid in a moment's notice. Though as the ever stoic champion brought his shield up to defend himself from the onslaught of Ballad's unexpected, and formidable energy attack, he was met with tremendous force behind the push against his shield. As the blast continued to burn upon his shield, The Warrior did all he could to keep the power from overtaking his defense, and possibly dealing severe damage to his armor, and himself.
Purple flames and black tendrils licked the edges of his shield with a bitter smelling smoke, and the familiar scent of heated steel. The amount of force behind the power of this mysterious man's technique was great, for as the Warrior continued to hold his defenses strong, he could feel his stature begin to slide backwards, as he was forced back with an unwilling budge through the dirt and grass. When the attack's effects had subsided, the Warrior slowly lowered his shield, fixating a focused and determined gaze upon his attacker, a man in dark purple armor with a feral styled sword. As the man's words filled his ears, declaring that despite not knowing the Warrior's identity, this man was determined to keep this world from being captured. A confused expression crossed the face of the stoic, armored man for a moment, before returning to its firm resolve a few seconds after. The peace of this world had almost allowed the Warrior to forget that the rest of the stars were still in conflict, and it was the words of this newcomer that reminded the Paragon of Harmony that the war still raged on.
He knew that no matter what happened, there was always a way to persevere, and despite how confident this man in lavender armor would seem in his determination toward his ambition, The Warrior knew deep in his heart that the light would always shine a path to peace. "It is not the world I seek to take, nor is it a change in alignment I wish to bring. I fight to end the conflict, for the worlds are doomed to ruination should they continue on like this," spoke the stoic Warrior to his foe, before pointing his blade across the field toward the heart of Caius. "I cannot allow you to bar my path, for I have a mission to fulfill." With the declaration, the Protector of Cosmos took a short dash forward, then firmly stabbed his sword into the ground before Caius. Within a moment's notice, the sword was pulled firmly from the ground, and swung toward the man in purple armor in an underhanded fashion. "Bathe in the light!" declared the Protector of Cosmos. As the Paragon made his swing, beams of light began to erupt from the ground as they sped toward Ballad in a hasted track for their target, slightly homing in on his position as they traveled their max duration to bombard the target with energy of light.
Following his brilliant execution of Shining Wave, the Warrior of Light dashed forward after his opponent, planting feet firmly into the earth before launching himself at Caius, throwing his shield down so that it arched up into an Ascension, which would follow with an additional shield strike to hopefully send the foe skyward. It mattered not what this man's intentions were, for they would not stop the unwavering determination of Cosmos' Champion. This war would be brought to a conclusion, and Garland's cycle would be sought, challenged, and put to rest like all those that had come before it. It had to end, for all the worlds would continue to crumble under despair and destruction if himself and the other Warriors of Harmony were to fail. They couldn't fail though, for there was too much at stake, too much would be lost if they did not persevere.
~~~~~~ Abilities Used
Shining Wave – The Warrior stabs his sword into the ground before him, then quickly pulls it from the earth and takes a mighty swing. The result is a powerful wave of light that travels along the ground with high reach into the air, able to slightly track foes as it aims to slam them with pure force. Inflicts heavy damage, 3 post cool down.
Ascension – The Warrior throws his shield forward, angled higher, charging in from underneath and upward to strike with a combo to launch the target into the air. Inflicts Moderate damage, 2 post cool down.
Theme for this Post: Cosmos Theme-Dissidia OSTAs the wave of light came towards him, Ragnarok was swung before him, an attempt to use the massive blade of the weapon as a shield to protect himself from the blast. However, such would not be the case. Slowly he found himself being pushed back..and would realize only all too late that this attack was little more than a distraction. Finding himself launched up in the air after a two part combo he gazed down at the man with a deep blue gaze, grip tightening upon Ragnarok. Using the momentum he gained from the Champion of Cosmos' asssault he tilted his body downward, sword arm raised and turned so that the blade of Ragnarok extended past his left shoulder, his left hand held outward, shifting all of his weight into his arm so that he tilted into a downward dive back towards the ground. This however would only prove to be yet another case of appearances could be deceiving. The way he was poised now as he descended..would make it seem that he was going for a downward strike, using gravity to increase the force behind the blow...but such was not the case here. No, instead as he descended downward, he used the palm of his extended left hand to touch upon the grass of their chosen battlefield, using the momentum gained to push his body upward into the air once again, somersaulting in the air once over the head of the armored man...paying no heed to the two new presences that had made themselves known. Booted feet landed softly upon the grass behind the Warrior of Light, both warriors now standing back to back. "I care not for what your intentions are for this world..." he said slowly as he brought his blade up, the blade becoming engulfed in violet and black flames as his arm lifted. "You shall leave this world out of your cause. I have my own reasons..my own cause for unleasing Chaos upon this world." Stepping back to give room, both hands gripped upon the handle of his weapon he spun, swinging his weapon full circle towards the back of Cosmos' Warrior. As he stepped back he pivoted once more, chest now glowing red where his heart lay, as were his eyes glowing the same color. "The world stays as it is....Etro's Curse cannot affect the Seeress. Time remains at a standstill. None can live or die. Yeul can finally enjoy the life she was meant to have..the life ALL OF THEM were meant to have." An eye opened up a couple inches above the handle of his sword, glowing the same deep scarlet his chest and eyes did. "Whatever your reasons, you will leave this world out of it. Husk of the wandering comet..I summon thee!" Red energy surrounded his body as he shifted to Ravager Stance to cast the spell. Reversing the way he was holding his sword so that the blade faced downward he stabbed it into the earth. Powerful magical energy began to radiate off his body as his hair shot upward from the force behind the casting, blade and body glowing as a purple circular spell seal rose into the air. As the spell seal rose upward, the sky grew darker. A very large rocklike formation began to descend downward, whereas the spell seal rose to meet it. Connecting with the spell seal, the large rock force began to glow blue before sending forth eight comets raining down upon the battlefield.
Naturally of course, this spell was aimed for the Warrior of Light..but eight comets raining down can't all be accurate right? One of the comets descended downward towards the cliff Genesis and Stella currently resided on, whereas the rest were hurtling towards areas nearby. In fact one of them did miss, hitting the crystal pillar holding Cocoon up, causing a few shards of crystal to go flying, as well as send vibrations all up the Pillar. The Immortal Guardian's plan? Win one way or the other, be it by his own strength, or causing an entire planet to collapse with Pulse...causing the world to die 700 years before it was supposed to.
Abilities Used: Commando Stance: Blast Wave: Caius channels magical energy into his sword before stabbing it into the ground, sending a shockwave towards his foes. (cooldown: 1 posts)
Healer Stance: Body and Soul: A support magic ability for Caius. This ability when used grants him the buffs Bravery(increases his physical power), Faith(increases the power behind his magic) and Regen(heals him continuously over time). The buffs are cast simultaneously and last for three posts. The buffs also do carry over if he transforms via Innate Summon. Cooldown: 4 posts. *Cooldown will not initiate until after the buffs wear off.
Buffs: Bravery, Faith, Regen Duration: 2 posts
Ravager Stance: Comet: One of Caius' signature attacks. After chanting "Husk of the Wandering Comet, I summon thee!" These two forces seemed extraordinary in their own rights. It was a current mystery to at the identities of the warriors already engaged in combat, but it was obvious enough to determine who was fighting on what side of the coin. One had pure intentions, though whether others saw his actions and came to the same conclusion, was another thing. He had such brilliant Light within him, as much so as the other Goddess he had once been fortunate enough to cross paths with... Cosmos. Thinking back, the Goddess was indeed the first person the Crimson SOLDIER had laid eyes upon after waking up in these strange new worlds. The Goddess and one other individual claiming himself to be a Prince. Noctis, was it? The auburn-haired man couldn't remember. It had been far too long and far too much had happened since then. But back to the matter at hand. Who was this Light emitting warrior? Was he in league with the Goddess of Harmony for he felt very much like her? Was he on a mission to cleanse worlds of Darkness and return them to the Light? Who knew, but it was more then likely not the case. Cosmos herself had told the Crimson SOLDIER that 'balance' had to be maintained between both the forces at war. Why would she tell another something different...?
The other man, the one the Light emitting warrior was fighting, felt practically the opposite, but he knew nothing about this man as much as he knew nothing of the Warrior. They might be just like himself... carrying the label of a 'Darkness Warrior' simply as a label. Genesis himself was fighting on both sides of the war. He'd switch sides where he saw fit to make sure the balance between Light and Darkness was not put too favorably in either sides corner. Cloud Strife himself finally came to the understanding that terrible consequences would reveal themselves should the balance of Light an Dark fall too far in one direction. It was basically exactly what was happening before his very eyes. Light and Darkness, at each others throats once more, fighting to prove who was the better, who was the strongest, who had the rights to lay claim to this world. It was pathetic... it was also very saddening. Sad, because Genesis knew that there were more people out in those worlds, people just like Sephiroth who only wanted to make people suffer for their own amusement, for their own desire. The people had to die because the 'heroes' and 'villains' were unable to put their differences aside.
So what should he do?
Should he fight the Light...
Should he fight the Darkness...
A familiar voice rung through the SOLDIER's ears as he were contemplating his decisions. A soft, feminine voice... a royal, beautiful tone, befitting that of a Princess. It was familiar enough to break the auburn-haired man out of hos thoughts, even to force him to glance away from the battle. As the wind blew by, rustling the grass about his feet, catching and pulling at his coat and blowing a few strands of hair across his eyes, the SOLDIER 1st class allowed his features to soften by the smallest degree. Heading through the lush grass straight for him, was a woman he was not expecting to see again anytime soon. Her gorgeous blonde hair, that shapely figure, her amazing blue eyes... and that strange Rapier-looking weapon in her hand... and her angry expression.... why was she shouting his name like she hated him...? "Lady Tenebrae?" Genesis asked, his tone full of surprise as he turned on the spot and faced the direction the image of beauty was heading from. Why was she here...? Was she fighting along side the Warrior of Light against the man in violet armour? "What brings me this pleasure of making your acquaintance once more?" He asked with a smile on his lips, his bright blue eyes glowing and sparkling as the sunlight reflected in them. The Crimson SOLDIER lowered his Rapier down, enough so that he held the weapon behind his back, showing that woman approaching him that he was not a threat to her. The Princesses blood was no going to be spilled by the hands of the Crimson Champion, you can be assure of that!
As Stella approached, Genesis bowed down in greeting before he took her free hand in his own. Slowly, he brought the soft, warm skin of the back of her hand to his lips, which he promptly kissed, exactly the same as he had done so upon their first encounter. Gently releasing his grip, the SOLDIER stood upright and looked down at the image of beauty before him, staring into her amazing eyes for a moment as he turned his other senses off towards the battle nearby. It sounded like the heat was slowly starting to turn up as the man in the extravagant helm begun his retaliation. Blunt impacts from his shield rung in Genesis' ears as the Warrior of Light started his assault. Two men of total opposites were fighting one another and here the SOLDIER 1st Class was meeting with the Princess of Tenebrae once more... it was less comfortable surrounding then last time, especially now that a spell had been cast. The auburn-haired man smiled at Stella before glancing upwards, his eyes peering at the sight of several Comets plummeting down towards the ground, one aiming for both himself and the Princess.
Seems everyone has a variation of Sephiroth's attack these days... Mused the LOVELESS quoter as he glanced back at Stella and without warning, scooped the beautiful young woman up within his left arm, holding her close against him as he whirled about, wing extending fully and readying himself to take flight. However, instead of beating his wing and taking to the skies, Genesis brought up his right arm and swung his Rapier in a harsh vertical slice. A loud metallic 'SHING' echoed out from the impact of Rapier against Comet, followed swiftly by two heavy thuds as the two fragments of the falling rock were split in twain and smashed into the ground either side of the Crimson SOLDIER and the Princess. The massive black wing spawned from Genesis' shoulder now swung down in a loud, powerful beat. The gust of wind caused blew away the cloud of dust that was about to engulf the pair of them before the glowing eyes of the Crimson SOLDIER were once more returned to that of the man in the violet armour.
"Stella, it is not safe here." Genesis spoke as he relaxed his arm from about her, stepping backwards to open the gap up between them both. "Keep your guard up and your eyes on the one in violet and black armour. I feel terrible power within him and the one in azure armour is going to need all the help he can get."
