Hayden slid to a stop from his backstep, recalling his cards to orbit around him as he surveyed his grim handiwork. Claire looked horrid. Her hair was matted with blood, he clothes were a sick mixing of their original jet-black and the dark crimson of her own blood, and the stuff kept dripping out of her wounds and onto the ground. Hayden cringed. It only got worse as she started shrieking her threats at him. Even the crowd went silent, shocked by the ferocity and sheer madness of the woman before them. Then, she started laughing like a hyena, and threw her chakrams at Hayden. She started to do something else in the split second Hayden wasn't making any moves, so, on a sudden burst of inspiration, he turned, letting the chakrams graze across his torso and back as he formed the minor arcana into a shield above his head. Sure enough, a Thundara spell cracked against them, shoving the dome downwards with the force, but the improvised barrier held. Keeping it in place because there were no other commands to give it at this range, Hayden started to cast a spell, what would surely be his last spell of the match. At first, he thought about the Wheel, but that wouldn't leave his opponent alive in her condition. Instead, he grabbed the Hanged Man, thrusting the card forward yet again. Seven ropes shot out like last time, each seeking to bind Claire, but this time they all sought to bind her arms to her torso. It would immobilize his opponent while stanching a bit of her bleeding until someone could fix her up. Hayden then staggered over to a pillar and leaned against it. The golden glow faded from his eyes as his Judgement tarot ended early, at his own command. Immediately, the world swayed like a ship on stormy waters, but Hayden maintained consciousness. One way or another, the fight was done. All that remained for Hayden to do was to see who won, and to go lick his own wounds. He shuddered, almost wishing he hadn't signed up for this tournament. He shuddered at the thought that there were stronger people in the tournament. He half-hoped he wouldn't be advancing, but it was too late to pull out now. Anyway, surely a god of Death would not allow his the combatants of his own tournament to throw off their mortal coils. Anyone who put a thing like this together surely wanted his entertainment to have more than one use before it broke.
ABILITIES USED:
ABILITIES USED:
The Hanged Man: When Hayden draws this card, he holds it forward with the image facing his target. From this point, seven ropes will come out of the card and attempt to constrain the target. If one rope makes contact, it will attempt to bind itself in place and allow the other six to catch up. The ropes will actively try to avoid being cut, but they become immobile after tying around something or someone. They dissipate after one post. This ability has a cooldown of three posts.

Judgement: Hayden draws this card, and it emits a bright flash. His eyes burn with golden light for the duration of this ability, and the twenty-two major arcana fly back into his hand, while the entire minor arcana deck will increase the speed of its rotation and emit a soft glow. During this ability, Hayden can use all of the cards at their base size to attack anything that comes within striking distance. This ability lasts for four posts, with a cooldown of five.
Cooldown will commence from 5 next post.
