A dark portal opened and it spit out Yazoo, he quickly tried to fly to the left, but then felt as if his legs had changed or something and in a weird way he crashed into the wall. There he looked behind him if the motorcycle would appear, but nothing came out of the portal as it closed. "What?!" Yazoo started shouting and swearing all angered.
Yazoo then tried to calm himself and put his thoughts on a row, he had left Maurelle and found a new gate, hoping it would open at this 'Radiant Garden', but ending up in this... Yazoo took a look around him and saw stuff, lots of stuff, random stuff, weird stuff, feminine stuff, other stuff, what's with this place? He tried to walk, but then felt again his weird underbody and he looked down. Yazoo blinked, did he really saw what he saw? He saw... a fishtail, it looked like that of an eal. His whole underbody was replaced with a fishpart. "What did the Heartless do to me?"
Yazoo tried to stay calm, he had the lower body of a fish and was floating in the air... Or wait... Yazoo tasted salty water. He was underwater. He could breath? Yes, he can, strange. He was totally confused about where he had ended up now. Okay, he put everything on a row. He left the Heartless woman, went through a portal, lost his motorcycle, gained the lower body of a fish, is underwater, and can breath underwater. This didn't make any sense. Also he was in this weird room with... loads of crap. Yazoo blinked, he didn't had clothes! His upper body was naked, his guns were gone, okay, this is bad. Yazoo reminded himself that he could always fight with hand-to-hand skills, but he missed his Velvet Nightmare guns.
After all the thinking he started to try and swing, but didn't get anywhere with it, why do I have this weird body? he looked around, "where are those bastards of a Heartless?"

A pair of light blue eyes scanned his surroundings. He was feeling a bit claustrophobic at the moment, and it was no wonder why. He was totally encased in rock. Man oh man had this been pleasant as of late. Heartless, nobodies, witches, AVALANCHE, keyblades, and tons and tons of other wonderful and joyous things had been plaguing him as of late. Hah, joyous? If anyone had believed him should have said that, they’d be considered an idiot in his mind. Nothing that was happening was fun, joyous, or wonderful. In fact, it was irritating and he wanted to kill something. He’d been taken from his home, his friends, his family…okay, so, his friends were his family. He hadn’t seen his parents since he was really little. He never really knew his dad, and his mom had moved from Midgar to Junon when he was 6, then back to Midgar when he was 14. Apparently all of that was in working for Shinra, but he didn’t remember much else.
Reno scanned his surroundings again. So far, this appeared to be one of the more normal worlds. But if this world were normal, why was his rod floating off in the distance? Ah no matter, he’d deal with it la- Wait a second, his rod was FLOATING off in the distance!? That’s when it hit him, his body was colder than normal, and he hated the cold. The red-haired Turk looked down. He was shirtless and he had fins… He looked down again and swore very, very loudly. FINS!? HE HAD FINS!? Augh! Could this day get any worse!? Probably… He should even have thought it, seeing as that was always the question that jinxed any and every event.
Reno looked down, observing his new fins. They were black and white and looked like they belonged to some sort of whale. He also looked over his shoulder at the backside of his fins... Yes, he was part whale, he had a dorsal fin. Sighing, he figured this could be worse. After all, he could have turned into a complete whale...or worse, been part cat fish. Lion fish, he could have dealt with, but not cat fish. It seemed like these 'worlds' enjoyed turning him into a feline. He was just glad it didn't happen here.
That was when he heard it, someone else in the world, who, apparently, didn’t want to be here any more than he did.
"What?! What did the Heartless do to me? Where are those bastards of a Heartless?"
The Turk visibly winced at the sound of that voice. Yazoo, one of Sephiroth’s remnants, was here in the same vicinity as he was. This was most definitely worse than it was before. Though, Reno highly doubted that the heartless did this to the silver haired fiend. From what he’d been able to gather over the course of, well, time outside of Gaia, the worlds each had their own defense mechanisms of sorts, to help protect their inhabitants from outsiders. Now, he could very well be wrong, but either way, he didn’t particularly wish to deal with someone who’d just as soon kill him as a heartless. This time, he had no idea where in heck Jenova’s head was… It had probably been destroyed when Kadaj turned into Sephiroth. Now that was a battle he didn’t particularly wish to see again.
In order to avoid confrontation for as long as possible, Reno swam higher and hid behind a rock, bumping his head in the process. He swore loudly. So much for keeping his presence secret…

Yazoo looked at the wall, he was still near it, atleast I didn't drift off, he tried to grab some rocks and moved over the rocks over the wall, using his hands to replace his feet, his swimming attempt was poor, so he hoped to find a new portal as soon as possible. And with some luck he'd end up in Radiant Garden. Yazoo wondered how he'd be going over the other worlds as a half-fish. Without motorcycle and his guns he'd be quite helpless, his close combat skills wouldn't be much use either. He could then of course use spells, but of course, spells!
He lifted his arm and let the Materia glow, but then he heard some loud swearing and it sounded familiar, "the idiot Turk," he calmly said, "hello," he turned to where the noise came from, looking at the red-haired half-whale, did the Heartless turn him into a fish as well? Then he took his hand under his chin, wait, a whale is technically not a fish, ah, who cares? "Hello, your name was Reno, if I remember correctly, how is the president today? Did he maybe give Mother's heart to these Heartless?"
Yazoo saw that Reno was alone, "where's your bald friend with the sunglasses? Rude was his name, I thought you guys were always together, do you know where my brothers are perhaps?"

"The idiot Turk."
Reno grabbed his still floating EMR. Turning it on would probably be fatal, seeing as this entire world looked like it was covered in water (well, that’s what he assumed, at least), but it was nice to have it in any case. Hey, if he couldn’t turn it on, at least he could beat things with it. Luckily, he didn’t hear Yazoo’s comment on his intelligence. If he had, well, he probably would’ve tackled the remnant (as best as he could, given that they were under water) and started hitting him with the cattle prod. Over all, he was too caught up in keeping his distance to pay much attention to what the silver-haired, mom-obsessed man was saying, until he was directly spoken to.
"Hello, your name was Reno, if I remember correctly, how is the president today? Did he maybe give Mother's heart to these Heartless? Where's your bald friend with the sunglasses? Rude was his name, I thought you guys were always together, do you know where my brothers are perhaps?"
The Turk’s head snapped in the direction of the other man as he was spoken to, his senses and awareness turned on high. Wow, so many questions all at once. That wasn’t something that Reno’d have expected of Yazoo, seeing as he was always the quiet one. If it were Loz, well, yeah, it’d be expected. He rubbed the back of his head and thought about the questions, not sure if, even if he did have the answers, he would tell the remnant. Okay, so how was Rufus? Hell if he knew. He hardly knew how well he was faring nowadays. Did he give Jenova’s heart to the heartless? Hah! Reno just about rolled over laughing. Jenova was dead. Sephiroth had sealed her fate when he went nuts and beheaded her. She had no heart; she was merely a rotting corpse now. As for Rude, well, he didn’t know the answer to that either. The last time he’d seen his cue-ball friend was in Traverse Town in the Second District. Where he was now was as much a mystery to Reno as it was to anyone else, aside from, well, Rude. Now, with Yazoo’s brothers, that was not something he knew. He hadn’t seen Cloud and he hadn’t seen Sephiroth since Halloween Town. Finally, he looked at the remnant, his mouth set in a grim, straight line.

[maroon]“Even if I knew the answers to those questions, I wouldn’t tell ya.”[/maroon] Yazoo looked at the red-haired Turk, then saw he had his rod, if he turned that thing on... Would the whole area be electrified? Maybe the water already destroyed it anyway. Yazoo looked around, ignoring Reno for a moment, since he wouldn't answer anyway. He picked up some stuff and dropped them, opened up things and messed a bit around. Then he turned to Reno again, "do you have any idea where we are? And..."
Yazoo looked at his black tail that looked rather slimey and disgusting, "... how we got to look like this?" He wanted to get out of this world as soon as possible, if even this idiot could help him, then he would accept it, he didn't care about enemies or allies for now as long as he got out of here. And get back to normal form, maybe find his bike, hell, he would ever retire from fighting and never abduct children again. Having to live with this tail in this salty, cold world was the last thing he ever want. He would even kiss that Maurelle Heartless for all he cared, maybe he should never thought about using her.

"Do you have any idea where we are? And... how we got to look like this?"
The half-Orca Turk grimaced slightly at the thought of helping out an enemy even in the slightest little way. However, he knew as well as anyone that the only way either of them could get out of here and get back on their feet was to help each other. Now, this wasn’t half as bad as being in Halloween Town, in fact, if nothing else, it was 10 times better. Even still he liked to have feet and he liked to be able to cast thunder and turn on his EMR without getting himself fried in the process. Reno sighed and blew (sorta) his bangs out of his eyes, not that they went very far… He looked Yazoo over again, then folded his arms over his chest.
[maroon]“Fine. As much as I hate it, I’ll tell you as much as I’ve been able to tell about why we’re looking like this, but only because I’ve got no other choice. First of all, I’ve got absolutely no clue as to where we are. I’ve been to a lot of different places and this one hasn’t been one of them up until now. Secondly, as to why we look like this… Well, I think it’s some part of this world’s defense mechanism. We look like this so that we don’t interrupt what’s going on and world order and all that jazz. If we were to poof in here with legs and in our normal clothes, though my Turk uniform is basically destroyed…, we would cause some amount of chaos and destruction. Chances are, if that happens, we’ll get killed in the process.”[/maroon] After that last statement, Reno kept quiet. He didn’t particularly want to go into detail about other worlds and what they were like and that good stuff. In fact, right now, his only goal was to ditch the heartless and to get home.

Yazoo watched Reno blew his hair out of his eyes, how does he do that underwater? Then Reno folded his hands in front of his chest and Yazoo thought he wouldn't say a word anymore, but then there came quite a lot of words out of his mouth instead: [maroon]“Fine. Chances are, if that happens, we’ll get killed in the process.”[/maroon] With all that Yazoo tried to put everything on a row in his head and moved his hand under his chin again. So a defence mechanism, no Heartless trying to ruin people's bodies, well, that's atleast a bit better.
Yazoo looked around him again and then turned to Reno again, "do you know any exits? I believe we both don't like it in here, also, I'm trying to hunt down some Heartless, not the scavenger type ones, but the human type ones," he expected that Reno knew nothing about exits and so looked at the exit of the grotto instead, hoping there's a portal nearby so he could leave, or find some Heartless and strangle it so it would hopefully open a portal for him.

"Do you know any exits? I believe we both don't like it in here, also, I'm trying to hunt down some Heartless, not the scavenger type ones, but the human type ones."
Reno shot a quick glare at Yazoo before continuing. He still didn’t like this and only talked out of sheer desperation and whatnot. Chances were high that as soon as they got out, if they got out, that the remnant would immediately go into attack mode and the Turk, defense, hence why he was being so aware and whatnot. If even Shinra were here, he’d be a bit more relaxed. At least his blonde boss knew how to fire a gun and fight at least moderately well. Though sadly enough, guns probably wouldn’t work in this underwater world, seeing as the gun powder would get wet and thus would be useless. Oh! So that was what was odd about the remnant’s appearance! He didn’t have his guns on him. Good. That made the red-head feel a bit better.
Running a hand through his hair, Reno spoke again. [maroon]“I already told you, I’ve never been here before. I get thrown around places by weird dark portal things that I have no control over. Plus, if I knew of an exit – from any world – don’t you think I’d be halfway there by now? No d’oh neither of us like it here. I prefer feet to fins, thanks. I work better when I can actually control my movements and I’m not just randomly floating somewhere. As for the heartless, I’d say don’t bother with them right now. First matter of business should be getting the hell out of this prison cell.”[/maroon]

Yazoo nodded in agreement, hoping to get out of this place as soon as possible, he pointed at the hole he looked at before, which looked like an exit, at least out of the junkpile room they were in now, "are you able to... swim?" Yazoo asked slowly, being still irritated that he drifted around. He tried to swim again, but ended up hanging up-side-down, it was more difficult then it looked. He'd be glad when he'd get out of this world. "Since you're going through these portals like me, are you searching for something?" Yazoo was a little curious if there was anything that the Turks were searching for.

"Are you able to... swim?"
The Turk looked at Yazoo again, a look in his eyes that said 'I don't like you, leave me alone'. However, he didn't say that aloud. Instead, he swam to the bottom of the cavern, dolphin-style, showing the answer to the silver haired man's question. Those swimming lessons back in Junon sure did help in times like these, not that he'd expected to be in this type of situation now...or, well ever... It was something entirely new to him, as was just about everything else he'd been experiencing as of late. Cat costumes in Halloween Town, caves filled to the brim with treasure, worlds of eternal night (though, he supposed Midgar could count as something like that), worlds with backwards-flowing waterfalls, all of it was just awe-inspiring. Or it would have been if he could get home somehow... That was the only thing that mattered to him right now. He could find his comrades later, he just wanted to go home. He wanted to see Edge and the remains of Midgar. He wanted to go to Wutai and get drunk at Turtle's Paradise again. Right now, he was fearing that he might not be able to. Sighing, the Turk ran a hand through his bangs again before rubbing the back of his head whilst looking down. It was something he did while either deep in thought, nervous, trying to look like he was paying attention to a lecture or something, or all the above. When Yazoo spoke again, it snapped him clean out of his thoughts.
"Since you're going through these portals like me, are you searching for something?"
Reno looked up at the remnant, a scowl plastered on his face. He'd completely forgotten that he wasn't alone, crud. Well, that wouldn't happen again...even if they had formed some sort of a truce. At least it didn't look like Yazoo had his guns anywhere, that'd be bad... [maroon]"Like I'd tell you,"[/maroon] he hissed. Another reason why he was often called a cat at home, when he got mad, defensive, annoyed, or anything of the sort, he had a tendency to hiss when he spoke. At least in private. In public, he didn't normally.

[maroon]"Like I'd tell you,"[/maroon] Reno hissed at him. Whatever then, Yazoo looked around him again, why was all that junk around there? How can live anyone here? Maybe no one lives here actually? Ah, who cares? Too many questions and none matters with the situation, unless they can open portals. It would've been better if he could summon portals, or summon Maurelle like he could summon Shadow Creepers, then he'd have a pathway out of here. Maybe some portal will open at the same spot as he came from. Ah, Yazoo didn't know, he just wanted to be with Mother. Play around with Loz. Brainwash some children with Kadaj. Have some brawl with Cloud could be fun too. Maybe get back to Gaia and have a little fight with Reno, he looked awesome when he flew around. Watch Rude fly around with his tough body. Just have fun with the family and friends. Yazoo nodded to his thoughts as his mind wandered away as if he wasn't underwater with a fishtail anymore. He was completely in his dreamworld as if a portal had opened and he had left, but he still floated around before Reno.

[maroon]"Well, c'mon, then,"[/maroon] Reno said, swimming over to what appeared to be the door to the cave. [maroon]"Just watch what I'm doing if you don't wanna keep hanging upside down."[/maroon] Well, okay, so, maybe the door to the cave wasn't actually the door to the cave, the Turk figured out. It was more like an opening into a tunnel of sorts. Maybe that would lead to the mouth of the cave? He sure hoped so, otherwise, well, he was downright sunk. Without looking back, Reno headed into said tunnel. After swimming for a little ways, he found that it was blocked. ...Great, just his luck, it was blocked. Maybe it could move it? He pushed on it, and a smirk spread across his face when he found that it was a boulder, one relatively light and easy to move at that.
Reno looked outside, to see if it was safe to come out, his blue eyes taking in every detail and ounce of information. It looked to be s-!! No, not safe, not safe! The Turk did a kick backwards just as the jaws of some huge shark snapped at him. One of the teeth grazed against the part of his fans where his right thigh would have been, causing it to bleed. Well, wasn't this just great? Trapped in a cave with Yazoo with a hungry man-eating shark outside. He swore under his breath, and tried to put pressure on the bleeding while pulling the boulder back part way over the cave. He swam back inside aways, glowering. Something was gonna get hurt today, and it was not gonna be him this time!

[maroon]"Well, c'mon, then,"[/maroon] Yazoo woke up and saw that Reno was swimming away, [maroon]"just watch what I'm doing if you don't wanna keep hanging upside down."[/maroon] Yazoo grumbled and tried to mimic Reno, but his tail was different from his, making him end up hanging weird again. Yazoo sighed and grabbed the rocks, crawling after Reno, actually he morelike threw himself forward. He saw that Reno quickly got forward, leaving him a little behind, but from his point he could see that Reno was looking at a blocked tunnel. Yazoo sighed, they were stuck, but then he saw that Reno was able to push the boulder away.
Yazoo tried to speed up as Reno had already gone look outside, but then saw the sharp snapping at him. Maybe he should go back, he doesn't like to end up as fish-food. Reno swam back and pulled the boulder back. He was bleeding saw Yazoo, well, atleast he was still behind here, although it wasn't fun to be hanging on the floor, unable to swim as well as the redhead. "Any plans?" Yazoo asked looking irritated at the boulder, maybe he should try and summon some Shadow Creepers to keep the shark busy.

"Any plans?"
Reno looked at the giant shark, then over at Yazoo as he spoke, and shook his head. [maroon]"We go out, we're dead, we stay here, we wait who knows how long until something happens to get us down, and if we do that, we're dead,"[/maroon] The red-head sighed and looked out at the shark again. [maroon]"Think you have anything that you could distract 'im with? I'd use thunder, but I don't know how effective that would be."[/maroon]
The Turk glowered as the shark swam around outside. He didn't want to get eaten, but he didn't exactly want to stay here with Yazoo of all possible beings in the worlds. Well, he supposed it could have been worse. After all, it could be Sephiroth...or worse, Jenova, not that the latter could actually think, but she sure as heck could do some major damage if she wanted to. More often than not, she wanted to.

[maroon]"We go out, we're dead, we stay here, we wait who knows how long until something happens to get us down, and if we do that, we're dead,"[/maroon] Yazoo looked confused at Reno, which sighed and was looking at the shark again, why would they be dead if they waited? Although it wasn't the greatest thing to stay here in this junkhole with the red-head. [maroon]"Think you have anything that you could distract 'im with? I'd use thunder, but I don't know how effective that would be."[/maroon]
Yazoo thought, flare, comet and explosions spells didn't had much use under water, so he could maybe summon like he thought before. "maybe I can distract the shark with some Shadow Creepers?" Yazoo said thinking, but he remembered he hadn't seen any portals or anything where Reno came from, what if all the Turks were just waiting for him and he was walking into a trap, Yazoo didn't like that idea and he didn't had Maurelle around to read Reno's thoughts, Reno could as well been lying many things to him.
