The invitations were sent to four heroes. Sadly, it seemed the King, or Ex-King, had gone off the map again. But that was no worry to the heartless. It would only bring the hopes down of the lighted beings that there King would abandon them so often. So, in his place, she had gone out of her way to find the Chaser's leader. He seemed to be rather high up in their ranks. Hopefully she had made a good decision in the end. Maurelle stood against a wall in the Main Audience Room. It was Stroud's idea to call the beings to their castle. He thought it might dampen their hope further to see that they had obviously lost this war. She hoped his little plan would work. The last one had. Valerius stood next to her. He had been rather quiet through the whole process. Maybe he was anticipating this war they had waged? She couldn't read his thoughts at the moment as he was thinking of too many things at once. But it was nothing important, that she was sure of. Only this meeting was important. Maurelle shifted her gaze to the entrance to the audience room. The rest of the castle was being watching by heartless the Human Heartless had summoned as guards. They were ordered to not attack unless attacked first. They were also ordered to attack and report if someone was going to pull a stunt in getting the castle back. It was simple really. It had all fallen into place and the meeting was to begin as soon as all parts of the part showed up. [Maurelle and Valerius entered the thread]

Terra had gotten an invite while roaming the Keyblade Graveyard. The enclosed envelope told him that he was invited to Disney Castle, or what was left of it anyway, for a ceasefire. He had remembered visiting there once before, just to find out that all hope was lost. A few bumps and bruises lined his arms because of his little run-in with Master Xehanort. No matter how many scars that man would put on him Terra would never give up his fight. With his armor on he stepped out of the darkness portal he reluctantly made, even if he did share the power of darkness he really didn't like using it often.
He looked around and nothing seemed different then before, besides the two people that stood before him. The Chaser walked slowly down the middle of a rug like a knight would. He could feel it inside that the light was being shunned from the palace, only darkness would remain supreme. Terra had stopped walking only a few feet away from the two Heartless Humans, studying both of them from behind his visor. At the moment he did not have his Keyblade out, but if it was needed he would be more then ready.
Terra was unsure if any others would be showing, to him it could possibly be a setup. Thanks to Xehanort he was always on edge no matter what the cause. It started to make him think what exactly a Human Heartless was, was it like an unversed? All new things had popped up ever since the incident many years ago and they all intrigued Terra. A ceasefire that would make all hearted beings, as well as the Nobodies, surrender. It was like asking Terra to submit to Master Xehanort. He really wished he could do something about it, but he has no idea of what power they hold. They could be weaker then Xehanort, but then I could be underestimating them... But really, a being or beings more powerful then Xehanort? It's a scary thought.

As if on cue to Terra's thoughts, a being of such power arrived. Not of simple Corridors of Darkness like the Chaser had done moments before though. From nothingness lightning sparked to life, erupting around the room. The bolts frayed, and created burned scars in the floor, and among the pillars. From the core of where the bolts were born, a void of pure blackness sprang to life. At that precise moment when the man in the black cloak stepped from the portal, stone erupted from the pillars to shape the Nobody insignia within them.
His steps were soft as he crossed the carpet, closing the portal behind him with mere will, ceasing the lightning as well. He stood next to the Chaser, not bothering to look at him from beneath his hood. He recalled within his mind, the message that had been sent to himself and Saix. It was an invitation to a ceasefire from beings Xemnas only saw as pathetic and insignificant. These heartless merely invited him and the Chaser here so that they could gloat and boast their glory upon them. Yes they had taken Disney Castle, but alas the warriors they defeated in order to claim it turned out to be not so formidable.
Xemnas, was not pleased. These Human Heartless who deemed themselves the embodiment and rulers of darkness itself, had disrupted his plans. This invitation they had sent out, had become a note of annihilation. They provoked the demon, and here he now stood before them. To Terra he projected his consciousness, allowing him to relay thoughts telepathically. 'So, you have been summoned here as well. It would seem the heartless wish to show everyone their new prize.' He paused for a moment to let the message sink in. 'A pity they will only relish this moment for such little time.'

Maurelle felt the heartless throughout the castle become more alert as Terra entered the building. The poor things were probably itching to attack the keyblader. But that would ruin their fun for this meeting. That's all it was, to gloat and to pit the light hearted beings against the nobodies. Though, she believe Stroud had more to this meeting. Maurelle was hoping that they would simply surrender. Though, the other three heartless were eagerly awaiting the upcoming battles. Yet, she looked rather fragile to the men that entered the room. Xemnas had just arrived as well. But, they didn't keep Maurelle around for her good look. She paid little attention to Valerius as she watched the two beings. 'They could be weaker then Xehanort, but then I could be underestimating them... But really, a being or beings more powerful then Xehanort? It's a scary thought.'
'So, you have been summoned here as well. It would seem the heartless wish to show everyone their new prize. A pity they will only relish this moment for such little time.' Maurelle simply snickered at the two men's thoughts as she decided to let Xemnas in on a little trick that she was not going to inform Terra of. "I'd watch your pretty little tongue there, Master Xemnas. You are the leader of the Organization XIII and you wouldn't want to give your group a bad name. I can hear what you're sending to each other. So keep on your toes."Though, she was glad that Xemnas knew what they were planning. It was less to drill into their pretty little brains. She wanted to see a reaction on the nobodies face, but from what she learned there won't be any. Maybe a petty remark, but nothing more. ------- [ Posting Order: Maurelle/Valerius, Terra, then Xemnas.] **- Subject to change as more people are added.

Another one had appeared, one who was familiar to Terra. He blinked as soon as he noticed him. It's the one who had took Xehanort's name in the past... Xemnas. Terra was confused at first on why he was here as well, but then he remembered in the letter that Nobodies were also involved and that this Xemnas was a Nobody himself. A voice then appeared in his head, the voice of Xemnas was speaking to him through telepathy. He explained how the heartless were showing off their prize, to his guess their victory of Disney Castle, and that their moments won't last long.
Unbeknown to Terra, the female Heartless was listening in on his own thoughts. Without any doubt in his mind he responded back, I like that you're optimistic about the situation, but it may be harder then we think. He took a moment to look at both Heartlesses, trying to gather as much information as he could. The male heartless looked threatening while the female looked like she had a trick or two up her sleeve, it wasn't going to be easy. If it does come to a battle I will have no choice but to fight.
The Knight took a moment to talk to himself, hoping that Xemnas wouldn't hear. I hate to tell myself this, but I may have to tap deep into the darkness if a battle were to commence. One of Terra's hands formed into a fist slightly and it was clenched hard. ...And my anger and hate may fully take over once again. Master Xehanort, no, Xehanort, why must you always come back to haunt me!? The sound of armor clanking together stopped as Terra released his fist.

Terra's pessimistic attitude about the battle being somewhat complicated was of no concern to Xemnas. The female before them then spoke about being able to read their thoughts, and sought to give him empty threats. Within the black depths of his hood, Xemnas remained emotionless, both in body and mind. Keep on his toes? Heartless were beasts, war mongering simpletons who sought out darkness and hearts so as to satisfy their own unquenched thirst for power. How pitiful. These two before himself and Terra now were no exception, and as history had taught him, nobodies remained above heartless when it came to everything.
The master of the nobodies was able to remain patient, standing in place while he waited for The Luna Diviner and the fourth who was to join them. So the most powerful had yet to show itself, and would undoubtedly make a last minute, cliche entrance. So predictable and the least amusing in the slightest bit. They invited him here for a reason, and to Xemnas' assumptions and estimates were that this was merely an attempt to gather the strongest from each faction that opposed the Heartless so they could eliminate them in one fell swoop.
Eliminate Xemnas? The odds of that happening were indeed very slim. The nobody could assume that Terra possessed power that could rival that of Saix, maybe even the Strife man who lived in Radiant Garden. His memory of the Chasers and Master Xehanort was a bit dim at the moment, but a few glimpses of a starting battle would be all he would need to refresh the memories. Still he waited, and still no sign of their leader or the other two who had been invited. Such a waste of his time. Alas he could not send another member of the Organization in his place.
The heartless that surrounded the castle could sense his power, feel how much stronger the room had gotten upon the arrival of the two. Intimidation was another thing Xemnas could not feel, like anything else, and as such the presence of all these Heartless had no effect on him. Oh how disappointed these two before him would be if they knew this. His Kingdom Hearts needed more hearts, more rebuilding was to be done, and yet nothing was being done here at the moment. Xemnas finally landed on a word to describe this entire situation that he found himself still waiting in. Moronic.

The keyblader was thinking too much. It was getting annoying as she shifted a bit to try and get the idol thought out of her head. She would only scan everything till she heard something important mentioned. Right now, he was comparing them to other, meaningless people.
Xemnas's thoughts were priceless. Hah, if only he knew their real strength. The heartless were able to suppress their real strength and seem weak. If she let out her real essence, she'd probably un-nerve the poor Chaser in their ranks. That wasn't part of the game though.
These two before himself and Terra now were no exception, and as history had taught him, nobodies remained above heartless when it came to everything.
Haha! That was priceless. Maurelle had to smirk at that little thought. So, the big shot thought he was that big? Now that's what you call an overinflated ego.
"I assume you are both here for the meeting. Feel free to sit. We won't be killing you during a ceasefire. That would only enrage you're underlings enough to cause us trouble. We're not irrational to that aspect. I'm sure the other's will be here shortly. Hope you have nowhere else to be." She smirked lightly, but seemed overall pleasant. Yet, she was fully heartless and not an ounce of good.

Terra had been wondering why it was so quiet, perhaps no one had anything to say. It was dead silent until the female Heartless spoke. She spoke about killing during a ceasefire and that it may take awhile. Xehanort could still be out there while he was waiting in the meeting, but he wasn't that important right now. Aqua and Ven could handle themselves and would contact him if they were in battle with Xehanort. He shrugged, since the ice was broken he might as well speak.
"This castle reeks of the Darkness." He blatantly said. "What are your intentions?" Even if everyone wasn't presently here, whoever the others were, he wanted to know what these creatures were up to. He also wondered what the consequences was if they didn't do anything about it. This wasn't the first time the universe's fate rested in his hands. Terra had a choice this time, he wouldn't let anything bad happen again. He already had to suffer once under the hands of Xehanort and didn't want to do it again.

Despite how she seemed to be mocking that of the emotion 'nice', Maurelle's meaning behind her words reeked cruelty. Xemnas picked up on this and merely ignored the majority of her words. He then took it upon himself to create a throne from nothingness, one that bore the insignia of the nobody all over it in carving and shape. It's grandeur rivaled the corrupted throne of Mickey that resided upon the carpeted steps before him. As the nobody took seat in his newly fashioned chair, his arms became still upon the rests.
Xemnas however comfortable he might have seemed, remained ready for the slightest sign of hostility from them. He looked to his right, and could see a mental battle within Terra upon the human's face. 'This one thinks too much' thought Xemnas to himself, protecting his own thoughts with a mental barrier that kept the ever nosey Maurelle out of his mind. His sienna eyes looked from Terra, to the other heartless. Something about the entire way he was carrying himself screamed violence, or at least a beast within a cage of self restraint. He remained silent to listen to the conversation about to unfold, much like he did during meetings within the Organization XIII.

The stench of darkness filled the worlds. For the moment, the delicate balance between the two opposing forces of nature, light and darkness, has collapsed. They were one of many opposite forces out there, for there are plenty, all of them helping to keep the universe intact. Harmony and discord, death and eternity, all these symbiotic relationships keep the balance afloat. Light and darkness were just one of many. So it did not matter whether one side had the upper hand. The laws of nature would demand that the balance be reasserted in the future. Whichever side was dominant, it did not matter greatly. What only mattered was how those caught in between will profit.
A portal to the Corridor of Darkness emerged in the dark Audience Chamber, once the domain of the mouse king. Out stepped Organization XIII’s Number VII, surveying the scene with his eyes. With rigid movements, he took his place next to the Superior and watched the other occupants of the room. There were three others, all unfamiliar to him. A man stood apart from the rest, carrying himself with the discipline of a soldier. Saïx sense the power of a wielder of the Keyblade within him and knew that he must be here to be humiliated and insulted. The other two, well they couldn’t be anything else than the Heartless who has conquered this castle. They looked at the rest with disdain and aloofness, dictators waiting in the wings.
Saïx had seen the invitation sent to them, embossed with all the arrogance of conquerors and kings. The Heartless had been gathering strength over the past couple of years. Their final assault was not the last-ditch action of a dying hound that everyone had thought. This attack came down on the worlds with the ferocity and relentlessness that characterized true denizens of darkness. The light wouldn’t have stood a chance. They had won before and the balance would now swing towards the side of darkness, ensuring an inevitable defeat for the light. Organization XIII had merely used the weakened Heartless for their advantage, those little shadows gravitating to powerful beings.
They tread carefully now. Saïx sense a tension that would drive normal people mad with fear and paranoia. The Human Heartless’s mocking did little to ease it, as it was probably their intention. Anything could happen and there was no room for hesitancy when facing enemies. No doubt that the Organization would not be in the good graces of the Heartless, having manipulated them as ruthlessly as the Heartless had defeated the light. Either they were here to be forced to bow down to the new rulers of a cartoonish castle, which he had no intention of doing, or they were here to be eliminated, plain and simple. Saïx crossed his arms and watched the two Heartless in front of them warily, betraying nothing to them. The darkness may have won for the moment but it counted just as much as a coin flip. It had merely landed on the side of darkness. With the right amount of luck and the careful application of force, that flip could be overturned.

'This castle reeks of the Darkness. What are your intentions?' Maurelle looked at the keyblader, she was already standing rather contently. But her answer came without little thought. "Haven't you figured it out? If you haven't, you're going to need to wait for someone to tell you. That is, unless you ask the nobody. He may have his opinion ready for you." With this, Maurelle smiled and looked around the room. "Though, it does reek of darkness. You like it?"Xemnas's thoughts were fleeting and she had gotten tired of the charade. So, she simply watched with little interest as he summoned a a throne to sit in. The throne was very fitting for his ego. It truly was. But Maurelle chuckled at this before she let her eyes wander to Saix. Oh, she hoped that Ferser or Stroud showed up rather soon. She didn't want a riot to break out. You know how people get when they get tired of waiting. Still, she watched Saix as he fell in line with Xemnas. "I don't get why you all seem so uptight." She did a slight eye roll before shifting back to her position next to Valerius. Gosh, Val was being too quiet through all this. Well, she'd yell at him for that later on. Terra wasn't delighted to hear Maurelle's response, but it did make him think back to the letter. Right.. the surrender of Hearted beings and Nobodies. The Chaser Leader couldn't let harm come to any one, but he wasn't going to give up that easily to the Darkness. His mind swelled with the future. How would the surrender effect everyone? Especially his friends and loved ones. Everything seemed to come and go so fast, why did it have to end up like this?
The Heartless asked him if he liked the reek of Darkness, Terra grunted and shook his head. "The light is good enough for me." Although with all this darkness around he thought it might be to his advantage. Maleficent had taught him a lot about the darkness and how to control it, but compared to a Heartless he had no idea how the outcome would turn. "What will you be doing if this surrender takes place?" Terra asked.
It seemed like everyone was going to defend their side no matter what. A third appeared and it looked like he was on his side, or the Nobody's side at least. Then the question of who the fourth and final person would be? Perhaps it would be The King, or maybe even Sora. No matter who it was, Terra was ready to defend the Hearted Beings no matter what the cost. His eyes shifted to Maurelle and his brow wrinkled. "And what makes you think we may give up so easy?"
Being that he was a Knight he did have honor and if it came to it he would fight to the death. He watched Xemnas sit down and he shook his head. If there's an attack it's better off if we stand. There was one thing that he knew, Xehanort was not paired with these Heartless. In times like this he wondered what his Master would do.

Still the silence droned on, slightly interrupted by exchange of words between the Heartless and Terra. Saix had arrived, and neither nobody said anything to acknowledge the other. Should hostility arise, Xemnas would be ready. Still the leader had yet to show himself, and still Maurelle continued to barrage the invited with moronic questions. Xemnas and Saix were uptight because they were nobodies, and devoid of all emotion.
This castle was indeed corrupted, and to some degree as the silence remained there was a faint moaning sound coming from the very walls itself. Perhaps the castle itself was asking to be saved from the firm grip darkness now held on it. Like everything else, empathy was something Xemnas couldn't feel. The nobody remained motionless in the throne, and showed no signs of changing this demeanor.

In a plume of shadow, a invitation to darkness had been recieved, and once again a hero chosen by the worlds had to answer it's call. The tide had turned for the light to recede as darkness gained dominace, once again tipping the balance between good and evil. For light and darkness being out of balance, it did not matter, it all depended on who was behind it and what their intentions were. To create and maintain peace, or bring and wrought destruction, but really what did it all matter? It was all a continuous cycle of creation and annihilation, and in the end, all that really seemed to matter to the individual was what had changed and how that affected them in that moment. To feel, whether that made them happy... or cause utter despair.
It was the latter of those two that was currently the moodset of the Keyblade master, as he arrived on this world, a nightmarish replica of the bright and merry world it had once been. Like all the happiness and good that was in the world had been sapped away, leaving a world filled with faint screams and shadows. Darkness ran along the walls of the castle as he walked into the small door within the large ones that lead into the throne room, dark corners too ominous for him to venture towards, feeling like the beedy eyes of the Heartless were watching his every move. The Heartless guards also watched him as he ventured down the long blood-red carpet that lead to the end of the hall, tendrils of darkness seething off the walls and ceiling around the statues and the throne there where the darkness was gathered the most, and Sora almost felt that the darkness thick in the very air he could smell with his nostrils was almost too pungent to breathe in. And he was in misery because... for a second time in his adventures to stop the Heartless, it had been too late for him to do anything despite his best efforts, and this world was the horrific sorry state it was now because of him.
And he had lost her, too...
Sora had taken his time getting to the castle, not particularly wanting to be here, and not caring if he was the only being who had to get here by Gummi ship instead of some method of instant teleportation that had made him get here last. He walked up slowly to where the five beings were gathered, coming up to stand on the side of the only familiar person he could trust - to a extent more than the others, should a battle break out between them all. His azure, yet darkened eyes were cast to the ground as they looked up from toe to head of the armored figure of Terra beside him, and he gave a curt and respectful nod while putting on a serious face. He looked around the Chaser Knight to the figure on the opposite side of him, Xemnas, a figure he had defeated in the past who was still so arrogant he had created a throne of Nothingness for himself. King Mickey had extended a hand of friendship out to the leader of Organization XIII, though, so Sora trusted the King's judgement, but that didn't mean he'd forgotten about what Xemnas had done in the past.
His eyes, no longer bright and full of innocence, cast over to Saix, another Nobody and apparent second-in-command to the 'Superior' whom he remembered his furious battle with. He held nothing against Saix, but again, he wasn't about to cast a blind eye towards him after what he had done to him and his friends. Finally, there was the new players in this battle for the worlds. Sora's breath became more shallow, and his eyes squinted as he adjusted them more in the dark to see them, not having his keyblade out to use it's light. One was a man with orange hair, with a creepy skull half-mask, who just stared at Sora in contemplating darkness. The other was a lady Heartless, with hair as black as the darkness around her, and a contemplating look that was just as dark. It felt like she could see right through him, and Sora shook the vulnerable feeling off, starting to get mad at the current situation of dark, powerful beings who thought they were smarter and better than he was. The words of the Goddess of Harmony echoed in his memory, to believe in himself, and he calmed himself down. Just looking at the Heartless reminded him of everything he had gone through to prevent their kind from swallowing the worlds whole into darkness, and all the friends he had made and fought alongside to restore their worlds, and the fact that they threatened their happiness as well as their lives just really made him feel ticked off. But after all these years of maturity, he was better than that.
"So, what do you want? A ceasefire?" he finally spoke, a hard edge in his tone accompanied by the gravity in his words, keeping alight the flicker of hope that was there to represent all the worlds that was threatened to be smothered by the darkness.
