"That's exactly what we want... all will cease, until we say so."
So, finally the Keyblade Master was here... about time, the Heartless had been growing tiresome of his tardiness. The dark voice that pierced through the souls of those in the room, like an icy wind, came from above the wall of the throne where the King Mickey symbol was of Disney Castle. The black emblem of giant mouse ears had been replaced with the unmistakable red and black symbol of the Heartless, and in recognition of this fact, the Nobody emblem that the leader of the Nobodies had branded into the pillar was warped into a smaller replica of the dominant emblem the dark figure was in front of. The rest of these pillars had the insignia appear on them, signifying the dominant power here in this world. From the enshrouding darkness teaming with life from above, as everyone panned their heads upwards to look, Stroud sat above them all on a throne that seemed to be the very thin air around himself. Then he moved, unfolding his legs, and pivoted his body forward so his legs were underneath him as he descended from above like a demonic fiend. He slowed his levitation as he came near the ground, his feet slowly touching the red carpet underneath his boots, and with the weight on his ankles he slowly raised his head full of bleached-white hair.
Red eyes scanned the room of the guests that had been assembled, like a vampire would look over fresh victims that had wandered into his abode. He had been sitting above them all the entire time, having overheard the entire conversation going on, even the thoughts that had been going through their heads. How naive they all were at what they had accomplished, what was about to happen now and what had been planned that was yet to come. He supposed he should enlighten them, as much as he despised the terminology, since there was nothing they could do to prevent it? But not too much, not that there was anything that could be done, but knowledge was a power Stroud was not arrogant enough to overlook. Besides, if they couldn't come to terms with it and struggled against it, toying with them would be all the more fun, would it not?
"It is very simple. We have demonstrated our strength, and done more in a matter of days than any of you could begin to hope to accomplish in your lifetimes. We have taken Disney Castle for ourselves, and soon we will take Castle Oblivion and the Castle That Never Was, the castle of Hollow Bastion... you get the idea. Surrender or perish, it does not matter to us in any way, we are only giving you a checkmate for how long and how painfully you want this all to end." he said in a careless yet serious tone, a confident smile settling upon his pale lips as he finished talking. All would come into fruition within a matter of time. The stubborn representatives of their own element and realms, clinging onto their last clutches of title and power, would remain stubborn and stand defiantly against them. And then... well, all he could think was how much anticipation was building up in his darkened heart. The excitement of how they would meet that boldness stirred up dark emotions that were only second nature to this Human Heartless.
He chuckled darkly, standing next to Maurelle, letting the beings in the room feel some of the power that was coming from his aura. Considering the full potential he had, he was quite modest with what he was exerting that he let others read from him, but to them it would seem like he was boasting with the amount of darkness brewing from his being. He was holding the majority of his power compressed, folded and hidden away in his being, not letting anyone sense the full cusp of it. Not that he cared what they thought, as all was irrelevant, compared to what was to come. Darkness may have had the upper hand in the war that had been declared, but it was the representing element of the Heartless, and the reigning element that's purpose was to set the path of conquest for them. To Stroud, the balance between darkness and light was nothing, there was merely grand power and those too weak to comprehend it that was significant in the grand scheme of things.
Oh, how delightfully ironic the beings before them did not understand the cruel fate they had planned in store for them all...

Every person in this room bar the Superior was a threat to the Organization. Saïx watched each of them closely, assessing, creating a profile in which he and everyone else in the Organization should know and memorize. He had heard that some of the senior members had already tussled with these Heartless Horsemen. They had put up a decent enough challenge against the Organization and nearly penetrated the Castle itself, an act that would’ve cut off the Organization and wipe them out with one stroke. Thankfully, by all accounts, they were driven back but they had acquired a piece of real estate that made up for it a hundredfold. The bastion of light, as silly and idiotic as it looked, it was still the center of the light, protected and given life by a crystal filled with the brightest light. To fall to darkness, to be corrupted in a scale unheard of proves how serious the situation is right now. As always, Xemnas was unconcerned, daring to lounge on a throne created from nothingness. Saïx did not see any sign of the former King of this domain, a worrying omen. Either he had managed to flee the besieged stronghold or was captured and disposed of permanently.
For the moment though, standing in for him was the current Keyblade Master, Sora. Their eyes met and reaffirmed a long-standing antagonism between him and the Organization. Saïx had no qualms with manipulating the young man’s fragile emotions purely for their own gain. Nothing matters if it would bring them closer to their ultimate goal, not even the petty feelings of a petulant child. Sora had obviously grown a great deal since their last fateful encounter but deep down, he was still that naively optimistic soul. Saïx had no doubt that, at some point in the future, they would cross swords again. The other guest in the room with them, the knight, seemed to carry himself in the same way as Sora. He spoke of light and darkness in those idiotic, abstract terms that would prove irritating to more enlightened souls. A denizen of light, much like a Keyblade Wielder. Saïx wouldn’t be surprised if one popped up in his hand should things get ugly.
At that thought, his attention turned to the Heartless playing as their hosts. Another one had just appeared, entering in a gloriously overblown manner that wouldn’t look out of place in such dismal surroundings. Combined, the aura of power they exuded was enough to power a planet or two. As much as Saïx hated to admit it, the two Nobodies in the room were no match against the three Heartless dominating the room. It didn’t help that Xemnas was projecting a manner of calculated arrogance ably matched by the newcomer, twisting the elements into a throne of his own. The odds of them escaping intact should fisticuffs be employed were quite slim but that was to be expected. Once Saïx had heard the ultimatum issued at them, he knew that the Superior would refuse. And so will he. The Organization would never bow down and the Heartless will make them pay for it. Not even in the face of overwhelming power, they will not bow.
Saïx directed his gaze at the one sitting on his throne, surveying them with the glee of a hunter overlooking his prey. The eyes of nothingness challenged those of darkness. Let us see who will be victorious.

Maurelle felt herself chuckle at Terra's comments about the castle. It was kind of cute, in it's own pathetic way. She replayed the comments in her heard with his emotion smothered over them. 'The light is good enough for me.'
'What will you be doing if this surrender takes place?'
'And what makes you think we may give up so easy?' Thankfully, she didn't have to answer these questions. It seemed that Sora had shown up. Mara looked the child over a few times. He didn't seem as powerful as what she had heard. He seemed like some super powerful being. Yet, he was just a child with a broken dream. It was enjoyable, yet a little upsetting. She was hoping for a little challenge. 'So, what do you want? A ceasefire?' 'That's exactly what we want... all will cease, until we say so.' When Maurelle opened her mouth to comment, that's when Stroud made his pompous entrance while replying. Maurelle had to roll her eyes. Yet, she did shift her position off the wall, not turning to look completely at Stroud. She didn't look until he stood next to her. Even the power he had was growing and she still didn't like it. But she kept a blank expression as Stroud explained what was going on. Maurelle kept an eye on the beings ahead of her to see what they were thinking. Saix showed tension between the keyblader and the nobodies. She didn't point this out to Stroud since it should be obvious. Nothing else seemed to stand out yet, though Saix was worried about the heartless killing them where they stand. Hm. "Took you long enough, Stroud."------- [ Posting Order: Maurelle/Valerius, Terra, Xemnas, Sora, Stroud, then Saix.] Yet To Enter: Ferser

A ceasefire until they say so? They want to take over a bunch of worlds and plunge them into darkness until they say so!? Was the battle inevitable? It angered Terra, he gripped his hand into a fist and his whole arm shook. We have to sit idly by and let them have their way just so they can start up again!? What madness is this? They're no better then Xehanort. The Keyblade Master grinded his teeth together as he scowled. "Is there no other way!?" Terra blurted out foolishly.
Although before he lost his cool a familiar face had entered the room. He made the Chaser smile, knowing that there was at least some hope left. "Sora..." he whispered his name. "Is there nothing we can do?" It seemed like the Heartless had better plans in mind, just to use them as playthings until they had their way. He was once a toy of the darkness and he refused to become a puppet once again!

Xemnas remained silent as the leader of this miscreant group showed himself, descending from above in a, as predicted, cliche manner. His sienna eyes only glanced to see that Sora was the fourth of the allies, then returned to look upon Stroud as he gave an order to those who were not his subordinates. Yes indeed these beings managed to conquer Disney Castle in a matter of days, over weaker less formidable beings. It was nothing to boast about, and for them to invite these four here to show off their prize was nothing short of an immature display. If Stroud and his little group were giving a checkmate, then the allies would literally have no other options but to surrender. This heartless greatly underestimated an individual's free will, and the power that currently gave him audience in his own chamber.
Xemnas then stood up, the throne vanishing upon the leave of it's master into nothingness. Well they listed their intentions, and it was clear that this guy had a liking for castles. This sort of thinking would make any other person wonder why not The Castle of Dreams, Enchanted Dominion, Beast's Castle or Agrabah? They all had palaces and castles, but the significance of each was nothing compared to those listed. Xemnas' creations and Maleficent's former stronghold. Indeed these heartless posed a threat to the worlds, and to Xemnas, each heart within those worlds. If Organization XIII were to complete it's goal, his goal, then these nuisances were in dire need of extinction.
"There is one way" spoke Xemnas to Terra out loud, finally breaking the silence he had kept since his arrival. The nobodies would indeed, never back down or bow to anyone. They wanted their hearts, and they would get them one way or another. "You seek to conquer all, without any resistance. How foolish you are, Stroud. To think that individuals such as us..." paused Xemnas, gesturing to the four of them, including himself. "Would come here and abide by your simple minded wishes, allowing you to do what you want with no repercussions." The nobody finished what he was saying, then held his hands out inches from his side to be ready to draw his weapons if it were necessary.

The Keyblade Master looked up as a sinister voice addressed him, and his eyebrows furrowed, looking over the dark visage of the man as the female voice addressed his name. So this was the Heartless known as Stroud? He seemed completely full of himself in ego, but the way he simply floated from the ceiling suggested he had the power to back it up. His white hair and his red, yellow and mauve armor reminded him of Xehanort's Heartless, the first incarnation of Xehanort he had faced, the second of which was sitting in the room with them. Terra turned to him in that moment, looking for guidance, and Sora felt surprised that the knight who was so steadfast in fighting him to have him prove himself was now looking to him for hope.
In Terra, he saw all of his friends, looking for that same light within the darkness. People depended on him as the Keyblade Master to be a vision of strength and courage, and he could not let them down, could not dash away their dreams while there was still a choice. He looked to Terra, his eyebrows still furrowed in determination, and nodded at him. "Of course there is still hope." he whispered back, before Xemnas offered words to the knight, listening as he spoke stoically to Stroud. Then he turned to look at the Heartless assembled before him, speaking aloud so all could hear, his bold voice echoing off the chamber walls. "Yeah, as long as we have something to fight for, we chose neither. We might no longer exist, maybe even be sent to the darkness, but we'll keep fighting for what we want the most!" he backed up Xemnas's words, in his own simple and clear-headed way of thinking, azure eyes looking to Xemnas.
He didn't really care what they thought of him, as far as he knew the Organization was still on their side, and naive as that thinking was at least he gave them the benefit of the doubt by thinking the best of them. In the end, all the Nobodies wanted was to be whole like them again, to feel the same feelings that they took for granted everyday. Sora felt his heart was residing in someone else - and he yearned for the day he could be at peace with them again - while their means did not justify the ends the Nobodies wanted it just as badly. "Hey, Xemnas. You did some terrible things in the past to get what you wanted, and I had to stop you, and you may still hold that against me. But, I know you would have never accepted an alliance with the King if it wasn't convenient for you. So, why not have the Nobodies and the Somebodies team up one last time and take these Heartless out of the picture, so we can sort out our differences later when they're gone? Just like old times. They won't stand a chance against us, and they know it." he offered to the Superior, casting a defiant glance at the Heartless, then back to the Nobodies for an answer. He knew they wouldn't like the idea of working alongside the beings which had the hearts they wanted, and he knew it would be difficult for Xemnas to overcome his pride in needing assistance, but as a tactician surely Xemnas could see the advantage of having both sides at the disposal of overwhelming such powerful beings of darkness.
The Heartless wanted to destroy everything, but the Nobodies just wanted to recreate themselves again, surely Somebodies and the Nobodies could smartly work something out without having to resort to fighting each other...

Stroud uttered a dark chuckle. This keyblade master, this boy, clearly was naive if he thought light and nothingness could stand a chance against the oncoming darkness. "Is that what you really think?" he said confidently, looking at Sora, then looked at Xemnas. His throne of nothingness may have been gone, but the Superior's arrogance was still as self-inflated in the room as the boy's ignorance. "And you, nobody of Xehanort, are the biggest fool of them all. I expected as much idiotic defiance from the boy and his ilk, but I thought Nobodies were meant to be smart, but I suppose your pride precedes you. Cliche as my entrance was, your arrival and your throne was no different in trying to flaunt your own power, or what little power the Organization has left. What was it that you once drew power from, what you looked to complete, so you could have the hearts that you so sorely wish to possess? Ah, that's right... the heart of all hearts, is it not?" he feigned ignorance for a moment, when smirked snidely, adding a deep chuckle. He then stepped forward slowly.
He stopped in the center of the gathered circle, folding one arm across his chest to rest a hand on his elbow, of which the other arm had bent to place a hand upon his face to stroke his chin. "How best to say this... consider this." he offered, holding off his idea to demonstrate what he meant, however the offer was enticing, and thought that taunting them with the brutal truth would be rewarding enough in itself. They really did not know this, considering his last words? Surely the somebodies and the Nobodies would have debriefed them by now... which just went to show how much communication and trust there was, even within one's faction. Pure irony. "When was the last time any of you, even you Heartless, asked your colleges the status of the great heart, Kingdom Hearts...?" he finally mentioned, already hearing their tormented thoughts, and couldn't help but utter a condescending laugh upon them all.
"That's right, you see... while I had the Castle That Never Was under siege, and distracting your pathetic allies, I took it upon myself to assign myself to such a position to access Kingdom Hearts itself." he said amusingly, looking up to the sky, as if to look upon the splendor of the mighty power of Kingdom Hearts itself in the sky. A broad smile spread across his face, and he took in a deep breath, pausing so everyone could understand the gravity of his words. "So you see, Kingdom Hearts... and it's infinate power, now belong to me, and is on our side. So once I open the great Door to Darkness once more, and let the Realm of Darkness itself flood in... no Somebody nor Nobody stands a chance of survival. The Heartless, the villains, and even the gods themselves will claim the worlds under the power of everlasting darkness." he said quietly, letting those horrific thoughts sink in, and smirked cruelly at each set of eyes he landed upon. Especially at Sora and Xemnas to rub it in, Sora because he had failed to protect Kingdom Hearts, and Xemnas because he had succeeded unopposed into Kingdom Hearts where Xemnas had not. "So you see, what I said was true... it really does not matter if you struggle against the darkness, or give into it. It will consume all, either way, and any of you who are stupid enough to challenge me and the might of the superior beings which are Heartless, will be able to change nothing." He stepped backwards, at first uttering a soft and slow chuckle, which then built into a uncontrollable, loud and callous laugh which echoed within the pitch-black chamber of the castle.
Stroud fell silent, feeling quite amused and pleased with himself, holding all the cards in this war. A change was coming, and there was nothing, anything that could be done to prevent it now... even if he were blind-sighted by someone taking the upper hand he had safeguards in place to ensure he would always have power, even now rivaling that of the gods...

Maurelle stood quietly and out of the way. She was there if anything came up mentally that was important to the heartless. All the bickering was getting rather boring, yet she scanned and listened to everyone's thoughts before, during, and after the being's spoke. It was interesting as she watching the keyblader struggle within himself. It was weird the things he was expressing without saying. Still, she moved on.
When Stroud took over, he began his speech to Xemnas. Yes, the leader of the nobodies was just as bad as Stroud with the pompous and pointless display of power. She didn't see a need for such a trivial thing. But something caught her attention before he said it. Kingdom Hearts? So that's how he got all the power. There was more to the seige on the castle. Stroud's real goal was to gain the power from Kingdom Hearts. This hit a nerve, but she remained silent. She was smart enough not to backtalk, ESPECIALLY when she had the lower hand. It wasn't worth losing the castle.
Her eyes shifted to Valerius. The heartless didn't even seem to be paying attention to the conversation. Hmph, must be nice.
Maurelle turned her attention back on the beings gathered. She was waiting for their reactions now. It was sure to be interesting.

Everyone's words were comforting to Terra, but something just didn't seem right. Why was everyone so optimistic about the situation? There was one point in the past where Terra was exactly the same, but that lead to his downfall and right after into his anger and hate. The Chaser shook his head to regain himself. "Sora, Xemnas, I thank you for being positive about the situation. As long as we work together we should be able to overcome this feat. These guys may be nothing like Xehanort or close to him, it doesn't matter. If there is something at loss that is important to us we should never give up." Terra paused as he looked Stroud directly in the eyes. "And in the end.. our sacrifices will be remembered!"Terra was able to give out an inspiration speech while he still had it. While everyone was talking, he was gathering darkness in his heart to be able to combat his enemies. Even if Sora was the only one he could call a friend, he had to stick up for everyone! Aqua and Ven are counting on him to protect everything. He looked to Sora again and his head sulked. "Sora... Aqua.. Ven, I'm Sorry." The Brunette Chaser whispered under his breath as he sighed. His ears 'perked' as Stroud made his speech. Every time he looked at Stroud he started to look more and more like the Apprentice which reminded him of Xehanort. "...K..Kingdom Hearts!?"The Chaser could see it in his mind now, it was like a scar embedded into his brain. Aqua, Ven, the fateful battle. As Stroud continued to talk his memories continued to sink into despair. Kingdom Hearts... The Realm of Darkness. Each memory shot through his head like a bullet. The Door To Darkness
The Seven Princesses of Heart
Kingdom Hearts
The Keyblade War
The Great Power
Master Xehanort
Xehanort...
XEHANORT! The Chaser Gripped his helmet and looked up at Stroud again, his mind searing with pain and his eyes lit up like fire! The thoughts going through his head would be enough to cause another person a headache. He couldn't forget the words Xehanort had burned into his brain. As he talked he could hear Xehanort talking in his mind. "Cross the border between light and darkness." He threw his right arm out and gears surrounded it, his arm literally flowing with power. "Xehanort, I won't let this happen again! No matter who it is, my anger and hate for Xehanort will guide me through the battle!" In a bright flash of light his Keyblade appeared as he looked at Stroud as if he wanted revenge. The Chaser was quick and his Keyblade had morphed into a shield. As he got close he punched three times, the shield changing into different objects each time until he was finished and it turned back into his Keyblade

Black gloved hands raised to the brim of the nobody's hood, and with no effort pulled it back to reveal the infamous silver mane of Xemnas. He turned his deep tanned face to look at Sora with sienna eyes as the keyblade master spoke to him. They remained emotionless as Sora gave his memorable speech to the empty shell of an individual, to which Xemnas remained silent for a moment. "Indeed." spoke the nobody to Sora, nodding slightly as he turned his attention to Terra, who gave his speech.
Suddenly, the Chaser attacked Stroud with a nice combination from his keyblade. "Draw your keyblade Sora, Saix your claymore." spoke the Organization leader, who then ignited his powers. Lightning came to life around his gloves, crackling and sparking as the bolts continued their revolutions. Xemnas threw up his hands quickly, and five ethereal blades from each palm shot up into the air above Terra. They lingered there for a moment before firing down upon Stroud, and as they descended, the Superior created two more red blades from his hands.

As the meeting in the corrupted audience chamber started getting a bit heavy, the chaser broke out his calm. The mighty Number I caught quickly the opportunity and ordered Sora and Saïx to get ready...
A dark portal openned as Xemnas threw his blades at Stroud. A dark figure deflected the five blades with his orichalcum longsword before being pushed back in the air, doing a backflip to regain his balance before landing in front of Stroud. "That's a bit fiery in here." The heartless in a black cloak said. He gazed upon the two nobodies and the two keyblade wielders as Terra looked like the one who was about to burst. He slowly walked away from Stroud's field of vision.
"Sorry for being late, I got lost." He lazily put since he didn't want to try to get a real excuse for being late in the meeting. As he finished analyzing the powerful foes in front of him he raised his voice and said "Yo. I'm Ferser." He introduced. "Nice to meet you all."
"Yeah so... I hope you're not stupid enough to start a fight here." He dirrected at Terra. "It's not you coud pull it off anyway... Although I'm not against crushing your skull right now myself but... A ****ing meeting should be a little more calm." His longsword then disappeared into a swirling dark and green vortex.

Azure eyes watched the Heartless called Stroud as he paced around the room confident and slowly, as if exuding a presence of supreme indifference, despite the powerful individuals that stood before him. He didn't like it, and it made him grit his teeth, furrowing his eyebrows at the man that wanted to decide their destiny for them. What was he planning, what were his schemes, why drag them here when they had Disney Castle and move onto the next world? He watched cautiously as the Heartless described him as stupid, bowing his head in anger, before the Heartless moved onto Xemnas and then finally Kingdom Hearts himself. He looked up when the Heartless had announced his claim over the heart of hearts, gasping in surprise, shock seizing his chest and stopping his breath for a moment.
He remembered back to when he had first closed Kingdom Hearts, looking into the doors, seeing the black sea of darkness and yellow beady eyes that was the army of Heartless behind it's doors. He remembered the fear of seeing more than one Darkside, the Heartless that had destroyed his world, and the uncertainty that he was never going to see his world again if the Heartless got out. He couldn't allow all those Heartless to get out, more than the numbers he had faced in his entire adventure up to this point, even more than the 1000 or more Heartless he had to slay in the Dark Depths during the invasion of Hollow Bastion. If all those Heartless poured into the worlds... Sora didn't even want to think about it, and he felt his chest tighten and his breath grow even shallower.
Then there was the fact that Stroud had taken the power of Kingdom Hearts itself - Sora looked at Xemnas, and remembered how powerful he had gotten within the walls of the great heart, and the long and difficult struggle of a battle that had followed. And that was after Kingdom Hearts had been made incomplete again after Ansem the Wise fired his machine at it - how powerful was Kingdom Hearts now, and in turn how much more powerful did that make Stroud? Sora didn't even want to think about it, his eyes fully wide now, taking into consideration this new threat. It made sense why Stroud had been so arrogant up to this point, and Sora grew more warily of him, wondering what would happen if this was to suddenly erupt into battle. And apparently, the thought jinxed himself, as suddenly as soon as Stroud finished his monologue Terra made a tyrade of his own and charged at the Heartless.
The violent act had also triggered the Nobodies, and Sora gasped under his breath again as he looked at Xemnas, who surprised him by agreeing and then told him to draw his weapon. He nodded, welcoming his acceptance for their alliance again, contrasting against how it felt in his rapidly racing heart. Sora was reluctant at first, feeling like he was being used by Xemnas again to harvest hearts for him with his keyblade, but his friend Terra had put himself into danger. He bowed his head, and in a flash of light his Kingdom Key appeared in his hand, flinching into his defensive stance. He gripped two hands on the silver hilt of his weapon, and stared with concern out towards Stroud and Terra, watching as the chaser started a battle against the Heartless that had absorbed the power of Kingdom Hearts.
"Terra!!!"

A cruel smile crept up Stroud's pale lips as he watched the reactions of the denizens of Light to his news. The Nobodies were no fun - they didn't have feelings after all - but the knowledge they had the lower hand was still as negative in reception. "That's right, Kingdom Hearts." he paused, looking from the Nobodies as he answered the question of the leader of the Chasers, and laughed abruptly. This seemed to trigger something within the man, as he suddenly summoned the large keyblade weapon in his hand, and instantly charged him. Stroud chuckled softly, wanting to demonstrate his power, and thrusting out his hand before him summoned the Piercer, his war sword. As soon as the blade was before him, he instantly blocked the first two hits Terra struck down upon him, with one arm as if with almost little effort. On the third strike Terra made, Stroud made a more powerful thrust with his arm, the force not only blocking the blow from the Chaser but designed with such exertion behind it that it would throw Terra backwards across a long distance, if not flipping across and landing on the long floor of the throne room then being wall-crushed directly into the massive door behind him.
As soon as Terra was thrown from him, he observed as the leader of nothingness called for his subordinate and the keyblade master to draw their weapons to attack him, and he laughed deeply and mockingly. "Do you really think united you stand a chance?" he taunted, and watched as Xemnas assaulted him next, about to make a gesture to counter when Ferser made his late arrival and surprisingly blocked the lasers fired at him. Stroud smiled smugly, and closed his eyes, waving a hand in front of him to cast a impenetrable barrier of darkness between the Heartless and their enemies. The darkness was a seal, which was sourced from his own powers, so the Nobodies could not summon a Corridor of Darkness to teleport inside. Not even Xemnas with his ethereal nature of nothingness could simply walk in without extreme resistance on his behalf, and the message was made clear that the wall was not meant to be passed. Stroud bowed his head and shook his head slowly, as if disgraced by the action his opponents had done.
"Thank you, Ferser, but a battle is not necessary right now. Don't worry, you'll get your chance to inflict their demise... patience. It seems us Heartless are the only ones who understand what the meaning of a ceasefire means. Tsk, tsk." He lifted his head and opened his eyes, his sword disappearing, the brief misconduct over. "Understand this, beings of light and nothingness... you may keep your weapons out, for as soon as you leave this world the ceasefire is over. Our message has been delivered, and you have chosen your demise, now all that remains is for you to go back to your worlds... and bring all that you have when we come for you. This meeting is over, and soon, so will your existence." he told them finally, and turned, opening a corridor of darkness. They had achieved what they had brought them here for, and he smiled triumphantly at his fellow Heartless, giving them a secretive look before disappearing into the black folds. The Horsemen had planning to do, not that they needed it... just simply to decide which world would fall to the tool of darkness first.
Stroud has left the thread.

No one could testify that Saïx was a tempestuous person. The one boon that nothingness granted him was freedom from the most irrational yet beloved of human responses, namely emotion. They were a hindrance that barred human beings from reaching their potential, forced them to commit nonsensical acts and were distractions to a clear thinking mind. While he yearned for their return and their disappearance a tragedy to the blinkered life he now leads, for the moment, Saïx did not try to miss them. His mind was clearer than it had ever been in his human years, as dim as those memories have recently become. The closer he felt towards their goal, the farther his earlier memories seem to be. Without the tangled mass of feelings that inhabit every mind, he was able to think logically and calmly, no need for irrationality in his actions. He needed none of that if he was to complete their goal.
What an odd paradox. The lack of emotions allowed him to further goal, in which they would regain the very emotions he had lost.
Saïx observed the scene with an odd disinterest. His eyes slowly swayed and took in the people inside the once grandiose hall of light, now just your typical barren hall of doom and darkness, which was getting annoyingly prevalent across the worlds. He trusted the Superior to do most of the talking and the chest thumping, being the Lord and leader of Organization XIII. He himself had very little part to play. He was not a grand leader of a faction in this war, no representative of any large group or wielder of immeasurable power. He was merely Number VII, a bit player in this cosmic game. No one would pay attention to him. He was defeated by a kid wielding a giant magical key and his anthropomorphic friends. Who would treat him seriously after a defeat of such humiliating circumstances? With said kid in the room along with the Superior of Organization XIII, no one would pay attention to the Luna Diviner.
This is what Saïx preferred. All the attention was not on him, instead directed towards the heavy weight players in this game. His actions has not been commented on, nothing had been directed towards on him and so far, he did not seem to register in their opponent’s attention, which suited him perfectly. This cloak of non-importance he would hide in and watch, away from the attention of enemies. They would less likely count him as a serious threat, just another plaything of nothingness, too weak to even exist in the larger scheme. This sense of incompetence would work to his advantage.
His eyes watched the farce of a meeting turn into an impromptu battle as the tall knight proceeded to have a mental breakdown and attack the Heartless with a Keyblade, just as Saïx had surmised. Obviously, Xemnas would see this as an excuse to fight, action being his preferred course of action. If he had a choice, he would’ve wrested the Keyblade from Sora’s hands and wiped out the Heartless himself. Violence was a rather poor choice of rebuttal but the mentally-challenged Keyblade Wielder seemed to have forced their hand as Sora summoned his own weapon and Saïx his claymore, more of an automatic response when weapons are generally drawn. The Heartless merely banished Xemnas’ attacks with a shield and their seeming king proceeded to berate them in that condescending manner that typifies those who wallow in darkness. How utterly droll.
Darkness was predictable. They lived in a world where they cannot ever imagine anything but themselves succeeding. Their imagination was limited compared to those in the light and In Between. The light could possibly imagine a world filled with darkness while the other side cannot imagine a world filled with light. All they see is themselves, ruling upon the detritus of the world, not seeing anything else. Heartless were such limited creatures, bound to their instinctual need of the sacred center found in people. To that extent, even what they think and feel and create is also limited. For the moment, the scales have tipped towards them but Saïx, Xemnas and the Organization did not exist in either side of the scales. They lurk in the center, neither light nor dark, serving none but themselves.
Seeing the sudden end to hostilities, Saïx dismissed his claymore. It looks like negotiations were over. There would be much fighting and war to come but they would be ready to meet it. These prattling Heartless think that with the might of Kingdom Hearts in their command that they’ve already won. But nothing is infallible, even the heart of all worlds. Every heart could be corrupted, as the existence of Heartless has already proven. Threatening a Nobody’s existence was as fallacious as trying to cut down a tree with a blunt stick. Saïx lazily waved his hand and created a portal to the Corridors of Darkness behind him. Everything returns to nothingness, even light and darkness. The Heartless had but a momentary advantage. They could be simply outlasted.
Saïx turned around but stopped and looked back. The Horsemen stood in front of them, triumphant in their arrogance. Such arrogance would be their downfall. He gave Xemnas a nod along with a thought. We need to gather everyone. This done, he turned back and entered the darkness, disappearing from the hall.
SAIX HAS LEFT THE THREAD

Maurelle sensed the attack as it was happening. But she had felt herself get pulled completely into Terra's vision. It was completely chaotic, she closed her eyes to pull herself free before stepping from her place to stop and warn Stroud. But it was unneeded. Stroud had blocked and Ferser had appeared to block Xemnas's attack. Maurelle rolled her eyes and glanced at Valerius. She'd need to talk to his silence later. He was never this quiet. She continued to listen. This was truly going to be a fun game to play. Their hopes were lower then anything and Sora and Terra seemed to be giving off the most despair. She just smiled lightly, her eyes watching over the group. They all would be leaving since Stroud had dismissed them. 'We need to gather everyone.' Maurelle smirked. Yes, they would need everyone to be lower than par. They were not going to win this war, the heartless were. This was sweet and amazing, if only she could feel the excitement right now. "Nicely put, Stroud." She said with little meaning behind it. She was leery about the powers Stroud had now. Mara would need to keep an eye on their 'leader'. She stayed out of the way, watching as the group left. She'd be here till they all left. [Exit - Valerius and Maurelle]
