The frigid temperatures around the Icicle Inn's section of Gaia often kept people wary- only rarely were there visitors. It was a place inbetween the Northern Reactor and the town of Modeoheim. On the sudden occasion when a family switched their usual pattern of spending vacation at the Costa del Sol, they found a strangely welcoming town practically bending over backwards to have them stay longer.
At least- that's how it goes in the summer.
A suit-clad woman just so happened to be headed for this town. She was in the town of Modeoheim, taking a moment to ponder. Icicle Inn had been her home- her birthplace, at least. She wondered if there would be anyone to recognize her. She was home- even if they didn't know her, or had forgotten her, she wouldn't care. But, she thought, It would be nice.
She was resting on an abandoned front porch, watching the snow fall and coat everything in a frozen blanket of ice when the shrill scream of a child peirced the quiet atmosphere and sent her to her feet.

A man making very little noise was making his way into the village. This man is Nero the Sable. He was wearing his normal attire, black pants, black straight jacket with blue lines on the sides. As well as black boots and his white mask which resembled a muzzle. Today Nero was here to find someone with a strong aura. The reason behind this is he wants his brother back. So even if he must use others to get to him.
That is what Nero is going to do. His foot steps were being left in snow. Not too far away from him, he managed to see a woman on a very old porch. How to draw her out? Suddenly, Nero spotted a kid maybe nine or ten years old. That is when he got the idea to simply take the kid. Nero knew the girl would probably come after him. After all almost anyone would. Though Nero and the woman on the porch where the only ones around.
For the moment, that is. Slowly, his metal hand gently was placed on the boy's shoulder. When the little boy turned around, he had a frightened look. The boy tried to unleash the hand's grip. He even tried biting the metal hand. [limegreen]"A feisty one you are."[/limegreen] Nero took a short breath and thought of something.[limegreen]"Let's improvise."[/limegreen] With the snap of his fingers a circular portal opened. This was a dark portal unlike any other.
For Nero's darkness was actually alive. The portal was making loud noises. The metal hand on Nero's wing slowly lifted the boy up and threw him in the portal. Since the boy was human Nero's darkness could not eat him. So the boy would remain trapped in the portal for a long time. Unless someone comes to save him. As the boy went flying into Nero's darkness he was screaming very loudly. As he looked up, he wanted to see if he captured the attention of the woman or anyone.
(It is fine.)

The woman had looked up just barely in time to see a boy thrown into some sort of black orb- it crackled and hissed like darkness incarnate, almost like lightning. She felt her eyes narrow maarginlly as the black orb swallowed the boy. A child should never be a target.
"Hey! Whatever you just did to that boy- undo it now before I MAKE you undo it!" she called, the undisguised threat lingering just under the surface of her words. she stepped down the stairs, hands already clenched into tight fists, knuckles white.
"Better get started on letting him go soon, or I'll have to act!" she continued, shifting into a defensive position. She took in his clothing and appearance warily. Some sort of Loony, huh? They seem to be everywhere these days... and what's with the wings? "Who do you think you are, anyways- hurting children- or throwing them around like that?!"
[OoC:ehh... short again- sorry if it's not much to work with << >>]

Neros red eyes gazed upon the woman who immediately confronted him. [limegreen]"Are you angered?"[/limegreen] His darkness slowly vanished into nothing.[limegreen]"Who is more foolish, the child afraid of the dark or the man afraid of the light?"[/limegreen] His head slightly titled to his left as he took one more step closer to the woman. Nero felt this woman would be helpful to him and the darkness. Maybe she could be easily controlled by his darkness? Just how to get her weakened?
The area grew very silent, for nothing was being said between the two.[limegreen]"The boy is forever in the darkness."[/limegreen] After saying that the temperature seemed to get colder. How did this woman fight? Nero knew he would have to wait and see. What could make this woman get so angry about one little child vanishing? Did she have any children of her own? Really, how could she love something that did not love her back? Could she possibly love all children? On the other hand, only a select few?
[limegreen]"Your wasting time to save 'him'."[/limegreen] If she could withstand the darkness like Vincent the boy will be saved. On the other hand, the boy will die, and she will easily become a puppet. Nero's eyes quickly glanced about the area again. Little children's and adult faces looking out that windows. Everyone was just watching this event? No one else wanted to save the boy from his death? It would only be a matter of time until the darkness consumes him.
Nero may not tell the future, though he will not give up until he gets what he wants.[limegreen]"I cannot simply leave you unchained any longer."[/limegreen] No more movements were made. Nero was just going to let the woman continue their story now. Once more silence filled the area.
(Its cool. I just hope my grammar is getting better for you. And i'm rping Nero well.)

"Are you angered?" The winged man asked, almost in a deadpan.
"Yes, actually, I AM. He's a child- he's not deserving of being a captive to you!" she replied heatedly, raising her arms, feeling her nails bite through her gloves and into her hands. She stepped forward, shifing into an offensive stance as the orb vanished.
"You're wasting time to save 'him.'" he started. "I cannot simply leave you unchained any longer." She shook her head sharply, before leaping at him with intent to leave him a gift of a broken rib or two- swinging her clenched hand sharply and swiftly for his abdomen.
"Who says you have any right to chain anyone up, huh? I'm sure it should require the permission of another!"
[OoC: Yep- it's getting better! ^^]

Nero could feel so much anger and hatred coming from the woman. Within a split second, she tried to make many attacks. Now was the time for evasive maneuvering. Quickly, he sidestepped her first attacks and slightly moved back. [limegreen]"So you wish to dance?"[/limegreen] Nero's metal claws quickly pulled the gun's outs and aimed for Helen. [limegreen]"Oh what should I do?"[/limegreen] Within another moment four bullets were fired at Hellen. The speed of the bullets was normal for now.
Swiftly, he moved to Helen's left side and fired two more bullets in here direction. Now a total of six bullets was headed for the martial artist. The battle has just begun yet they start to move so fast. Both a enemy to each other. The other both have their reason for fighting the other. With each attack came another dodge and another attack. Every moment the match proceeds along the more people in danger. In a fight like this there is always one winner.
To finish off his attack Nero moved behind Helen and shot off two more bullets. One bullet from each gun was fired for the last attack. Now that his phase was ended what would happen? [limegreen]"At this rate 'he' will be lost."[/limegreen] Time is not just going to stop for them and their fight. Nero only could guess how long it would take for the boy to be gone. Maybe a couple of minutes, hours, years. For all Nero knew his darkness could have already destroyed the boy.
Really, the only thing that mattered to him was the woman. She was strong enough to help aid him. Each movement she made was fast and powerful. Nero was holding back, yet so was she. The darkness was going to aid him either way. This match is certainly not the big finale. It was just the beginning of him find his brother. Where could Weiss be at this very moment? Traveling, Training? Conversely, is he still dead? In time Nero was going to find out everything.
(That is very good.)

As the winged man stepped out of range of her hit, he fired four shots at her. knowing now that the orb was made of some sort of darkness incarnate, she knew the boy likely didn't have much time. She nimbly stepped aside as the four bullets came at her, only to hear another two fired at her side.
In immediate response, she dropped to the ground to avoid the gunfire, before jumping back to her feet to kick out at the man's gun-laden "wings" in hopes of knocking his aim off. He's fast, she pondered shortly, as she was clipped by a bullet.
None of his comments were graced with a reply as she ducked low and aimed a scything kick for his knees. She knew that the child was in rather grave danger- and that this man was keeping her from the goal of saving him.
She didn't know who he was, nor did she care to know- he was a murderer already, in sending a mere child to a place that had no light- and with no hope of escape. She was just as guilty as he in being a murderer- but she knew that such an act of cruelty was more than she could ever forgive.
"What reason do you have in killing a child?!" She aimed another punch to his abdomen, mildly irritated that her usual target was currently shielded by what appeared to be a muzzle.

Nero quickly dodged the women's first attack towards his wings. She was indeed strong. He could tell also by her fast punch. The gust of wind from only one punch was amazing. Before he could speak again he was rudely interrupted by the woman. For she could punch him right in the stomach at full force.
On impact, he sent Nero to the ground. Nero slowly got on his feet and looked right into the eyes of the Woman. [limegreen]"I see. So I must try a different dance."[/limegreen] The latches on his straight jacket unhooked in a second. Thus releasing his arms, which now rest beside his waist. Slowly, his arms lifted up with his hands in Helen's direction. Suddenly, two black guns created by the darkness appeared. Nero simply took a look at his other guns and grabbed them.
His metal hands put the other guns away. Nero's wings shifted outwards now with ease. He was now in his Gorgonnero form. In this form his strength and speed is slightly enhanced.[limegreen]" Kill?"[/limegreen]Once more he aimed for Helen. Two shots were fired at Helen within a second. Nero then teleported above Helen firing another three bullets right for her. Each bullet moving faster and faster than before.
To finish off his attack Nero teleported behind Helen and fired two more bullets. The last two bullets were rapid fire bullets. Meaning the two bullets were moving at a way faster rate than the normal ones. Moments later small dark spheres started to circle around Nero. The spheres are harmless to anyone. Helen now really needed to step up the game.

Just after the Turk had landed the punch, a rather satisfied smirk had made it's way to her face. Not only had she managed to hit him, she'd actually knocked him to the ground. This indicated that either he had poor balance, or she was getting stronger.
However, as the man returned to his feet, his straightjacket seemed to unhook itself, and she twitched as two more guns appeared.
"What- can't come at me with anything but a firearm?" she sneered, noting him trade off his wings for flight rather than weapons. as he fired at her again, she ducked, only to hear three more shots from above, and then, again, two from behind. She wasted her time in dodging the three from above, however, as the last two hit home.
She actually stumbled forward, taking the moment to get her wince out of the way, then whirled around to aim another kick- this time straight for his knees. For a moment she thought the fight was pointless- but it was only a moment as her thoughts strayed to the poor boy's chilling scream as he was thrown into the darkness.
She wouldn't let him be wasted like a toy.

"The boy is inside it like a lost little puppet." To Nero it seemed the woman was more interested in his weapons. It was time for him to toy with the girl. A kick to his knees? "A simple trick." He simply side stepped Helens kick. Nero slowly raised his arms up and pointed his guns towards the sky. To very large spheres of darkness appeared. This is one of his lethal attacks. He likes to call this attack Dark Rain. In only a few short moments the spheres were launched directly in the air.
The darkness spheres began to come to a halt in the air. Nero started to make a countdown in his head. Five, Four, Three, Two, One.Once Nero reached the count of one the spheres started to spiral down. Each one headed right for Helen. As they kept falling, they gained even more power. Mainly, due to the speed of which they were falling. Would the spheres hit the target? Before the spheres would hit Nero aimed his guns for the woman again. This time he was going to use his rapid fire technique. Meaning the bullets were going to move a lot faster now. "Your Next." What did Nero mean by that?
It was up to Helen to figure out on what he meant. With his black guns aimed for Helen, he shot two bullets at her. The first two bullets were aimed for her left and right leg. Without making a sound he teleported about thirty feet behind her. Next he started to run right for her, while shooting seven rapid bullets for her back. Now he was close enough for physical contact range. Before he would crash into here he made a front flip over her. When Nero was in the air, he launched two final bullets at her. His attacks had ended.
Even so, the spheres were still coming and gaining speed. Nero started to wonder what would happen if the woman would simply dodge the attack? "My name is Nero." He simply felt the woman should know his name. Just in case she ever wants to go looking for him. It did not matter much to Nero if anyone came looking for him. Unless it is someone important. Like his precious brother Weiss.
Of course that is another story. How come it never stops snowing in this area? How could anyone be happy here? Wouldn't they much prefer to reside in the darkness? On the other hand, some place more intriguing?"Are you enjoying our dance?" Nero was actually enjoying this dance himself a little. Well, it had been a while, since he got a good fight.

The Turk took a few steps back, watching with eerily macabre fascination as the winged man lifted his guns into the air and fired to orbs of darkness into the sky. As they hit their highest point, the man spoke up.
"You're next," he stated in a deadpan- much like the rest of what he said. "What does he mean by that?" Whatever retort she would have made was cut off as he fired at her. Noting the direction in which he held his guns, she leapt up, planning on meeting him in midair as was usual for him.
However, when the sound of crunching footsteps and the loud report of his gun reached her ears, she realized that he had mixed up his usual routine. Since it is rather hard to prance around defensively when one is shot at in midair, she simply took the hit, activating her restorative materia. One, two, three, and four bullets joined the first two lodged in her back, and she fell to the side- barely mising the last round.
"My name is Nero."
The Turk took a moment to leap out of range of the orbs of darkness, and followed the dodge up with a quick casting of Cura. All she saw of the impact the orbs made was a sudden new flurry of snow as it was thrown back in the air. "Nero's" deadpan was beginning to Irk her.
"Well, Nero, expect a 'Helen' to be at the top of the list of people out to get you." She winced slightly as the popped one of the projectiles out of her back.
"Are you enjoying our dance?" Helen scowled.
"oh, yeah, I'm having the time of my life!" In a moment she was back at him. She tried to fool him into blocking a obviously placed kick as she launched a punch at his head.

Another set of bullets had hit the girl once more. Right as she fell over he noticed a spell being made. So the girl has some healing spells now? "Helen." Nero made sure he took note of Helens name. Now that Helen healed herself this match would go on even longer now. It is not exactly what Nero was hoping for though he needs to settle for it.
"Our dance is special." If Helen really wants to save the boy, she needs to beat him or lose. Nero had a feeling that something was going to change about their battle. Maybe he should change the area himself for a while? Before he could do anything another attack was being made on him. Helen attempted a kick. Next there was a punch coming right for his face. Right away Nero crossed his arms over and blocked his face.
When the punch hit, he was sent back slightly. Nero was not expecting that type of cheap shot move. The sides of his arms ached for some time. Although fighting a woman with guns is pretty unfair to."So that is how you like to dance?" Everything was going to change in this match. For a little while longer he was going to keep this scene. As his arms uncrossed two clones appeared. A clone on each side of him. Each one had the same physical characteristics.
There is only one way to kill his clones, which are a secret Nero is going to keep. First one clone teleported above Helen. The second clone appeared behind Helen. Finally the real Nero started to charge for Helen at a fast pace. At the same time Nero and the clones fired five bullets. Making a total of fifteen bullets going right for Helen. "I can dance like that to."
Before Nero was about to crash into her, he simply teleported on the left hand side and fired one last bullet. As well as the two clones fired one more bullet. On his final attack was done the clones teleported on the right hand side of her. By simply raising his hand in the air a large dark portal appeared. This time it was high into the air. Very soon they would be fighting inside of his darkness. They will be in the same area just everything will be different. However, if the woman follows him, she only has about twenty two minutes. Until something very bad happens to her and even the kid.
Well, that is if the boy is alive still. Nero can control his darkness. Certain things he simply cannot control..

A moment after she landed her punch, (right on Nero's crossed arms) he sharply moved his arms apart. Immediately two dopplegangers of him appeared and then vanished in midair.
A sudden, loud banging suddenly arose in the cold air, and Helen found herself leaping to the side as she turned sharply to see what exactly had just occured. She saw a mere glimpse of the two dopplegangers- before they and Nero vanished again. Only one returned to her line of sight, and she ducked sharply as a trio of reports boomed around her. She noted how the projectiles of the two "Neros" behind her flew straight at the one in front of her.
"What- you've resorted to fighting me three to one?! Come on- get rid of the fakes and fight me like a man!" For a moment she doubted she would get a response, then, the version in front of her liftes his hand ans snapped.
She glanced up, noticing nigh immediately the orb that formed above them- it was like the one that had been used to trap the child. For a fleeting moment, she thought he had given up and was going to relinquish his hold on the boy.

Once more, the woman managed to dodge his bullets? She was a very skilled fighter yes? Nero made the darkness move to his left side. “Fight like a man?” Nero looked over to the portal with a rather blank look. Finally, it was time to bring the fight to the darkness. “Let’s bring our dance to the darkness” Nero walked in front of the moaning portal and then jumped in. Once he entered his darkness, he simply waited.
His clones vanished right as he jumped in the portal. Nero loved just being in his own darkness it made him feel alive. It even made him feel happy when he felt sad or angry. However, he really never gets angry at anything or anyone it’s just not in his nature. Nero could feel his darkness making the little boy a hopeless puppet. Very soon the boy might be lost to the darkness forever!
Once that happens, his darkness will grow even stronger. The more it takes the stronger it becomes, increasing his strengths and powers. Now all he has to do is wait for Helen to make her arrival. Perhaps he might let the boy go? Of course the boy will be a mindless zombie, but if she wants him back so badly. Now where was the lass? Did she run away or is she just taking her time now?
Suddenly, the darkness started to moan even louder than normal. Nero knew it was almost time for the boy to vanish. If she wanted to save him now would be the time. Wasting time seems to be a thing Helen likes to do. Nero looked down at his black guns and then took a short breath. Fighting in absolute darkness? What would happen during the fight? If she makes it out Nero would be impressed.

The Turk watched the portal warily- knowing whe would have to follow Nero to save the boy, but not wanting to waste her life on someone she didn't know. she felt her nails biting into her hands- she was.... nervous. She took a deep breath, then leapt into the darkness, ready.
For a few moments her eyes couldn't determine one thing from another- and she was blinded by her lack of preparation.
"What- the light too bright for you? Ha! how pathetic! You're resorting to fighting a woman in the dark! You're no better than a punk in an alley," she mocked, hoping to stall as her pupils dialated. There seemed to be an internal groaning noise that came forth and drew away like the ebb and flow of the sea. A short shudder went through her as she imagined it to be the whispering and screaming and crying and groaning of the hundreds who were lost to the dark forever.
