Walking out into the middle of the Arena, the silver-haired Remnant Leader crossed his arms across his chest as his brightly glowing, mako-fueled eyes scoured his surroundings. This place was certainly new and... well... kinda gross. A festival sort of setting for some sort of celebration perhaps. It was... horrible. Smelt too much like... flowers. Urgh... But that was when the image of the pink-dressed Flower Girl appeared within his mind. Kadaj paused for a moment, ignoring the cheering of the audience gathering to watch the tournament. But a moment later and the Remnant Leader shook his head from side to side, mentally cursing himself for thinking about her... Aerith. Sure, she was a Light user and that meant she was his enemy... but... was she? Was Kadaj going to have to face her in battle some day, much like what had happened back on Gaia last?
The silver-haired youth closed his eyes and looked towards the floor in silence for a moment. That was when he heard the announcer call out his own name as well as that of his opponent: Terra. Kadaj's eyes snapped back open and he glared out in front of him with a vicious smirk. So, they had finally met once more, eh? Pity this was a tournament being held by the festival, which meant that tournament rules applied like in Olympus Coliseum. That mean, Kadaj was going to be unable to kill this key-swinging amateur. No matter. This would be a perfect chance for the two warriors to battle it out at full strength without any risk of being interrupted. A perfect chance to show off his power and teach Terra that the next time they crossed weapons outside of the tournament, that Kadaj would be stronger, much much stronger and that the keybarer would not stand a chance against him.
Without further adue, Kadaj drew his Souba and span it around himself with grace before catching it in a reverse hand grip, holding the weapon behind his back. The crowd seemed to enjoy this little display and started to whistle and cheer for him. Pity. Kadaj would enjoy slaughtering these fools the first chance he got, but, tournament rules applied. Throwing out his free arm before him, Kadaj pointed a gloved finger towards the opposite gate where he believed Terra would emerge from. "Show yourself, Keybarer!!" Kadaj shouted. "It's time for you to see how the power of Darkness can be used in the superiors hands!!!" And with that said and done, the Remnant fell into a defensive position, awaiting his opponent to show themselves.

The moment was a little too much for the earthen keybearer as he watched the gate slowly rise towards the arena ahead. Terra wasn’t sure why he decided to enter himself in a tournament, besides from the fact it could answer some of his questions about the Darkness. He had been through a few interesting encounters lately, including forcing himself to fight not one, but two fighters that had the stain of darkness upon their hearts, ‘Artemis’ and another warrior with weird shining eyes.
The crowd roared at the first sight of Terra, standing tall wearing his tight fitting black shirt and incredibly loose tan pants. He hadn’t summoned his keyblade yet, but his Ends of the Earth blade could be summoned in just a fraction of a second. Terra didn’t really fear battles anymore. He’d been through far too many by this point to even feel much at all when he was forced into combat. However, the reality of the battle finally hit when he caught sight of his opponent in all his leather glory.
”You…I’ve fought you before. You harness the darkness inside you…[/b]
It was his former, and much more deadly, opponent from Hollow Bastion. He had his twin-bladed katana drawn, ready to take on the powerful Keyblade Apprentice. Even though Xehanort granted him the rank of Master, he now neglected to accept it, following his former ally’s treachery at the Land of Departure. The silver haired warrior waited with what seemed like patience as Terra entered the ring at his own pace. While stepping his left foot forward he summoned his keyblade into his right hand to show his opponent he was ready for the battle at hand. Terra turned his head slightly to speak his thoughts at a volume just low enough to make it impossible for his opponent to hear.
”His close embrace with the darkness is what I always feared I would become. My dream can only be accomplished by releasing my grip on the darkness and forcing myself to deny its temptation. I will become a Keyblade Master…one day.”[/b]
The holder of the bronze key decided to make the first move by dashing at the Remnant, and he made that move by slashing upward and connecting it with a powerful diagonal slash. He continued the combo with two more slanted slashes before finishing with a powerful jumping slash, which would cause a small shockwave on whatever it hit.
Terra wasn’t done attacking the Remnant of Sephiroth yet. He jumped backwards keeping his eyes locked on his opponent as a bullet of Darkness formed on the tip of his keyblade. As soon as he landed he began swinging his Ends of the Earth over his head, firing bullets at an extreme rate. After two swings and approximately twenty bullets he focused a small barrier around him and began to fire the bullets now two at a time towards the Remnant. This continued for about another twenty bullets to finish his Black Volley.
All that was left was to see if his onslaught finished his opponent, which Terra figured was highly doubtful, considering how close they fought on Hollow Bastion.

Terra, the Keybarer whom the Remnant Leader had fought upon Hollow Bastion, was the newest Key-wielder to cross weapons with him. Kadaj was sure that he wasn't going to be the last Keybarer to fight him, and thanks to the Tournament Rules, this wouldn't be the last time their own blades crossed either. Yet Kadaj could only smirk, watching as the figure of the brown-haired Keybarer made his way towards him. It wasn't too long ago when the two of them had fought in Hollow Bastion, and even then, Terra's ultimate attack wasn't enough to finish the Remnant off. However, he was already fatigued from the fight with 'Artemis'. Perhaps a fully fit Terra might be able to do a little bit more damage with that cannon attack. ~I best keep an eye open for that, just to be careful...~
[/i] The silver-haired youth thought to himself while keeping his glowing eyes locked onto Terra. As the Keybarer spoke, Kadaj continued to smirk at him. "That's right. I'm the one who harness the GREATEST Darkness within! Something you're about to discover for real this time!!"Kadaj boasted confidently as he started to walk towards the male Keybarer who seemed, for the moment, to start talking to himself. Only a couple of words reached the Remnant's ears but he paid no attention to it. There was only one thing going through Kadaj's mind now, and that was to show off what he could really do. Yet it seemed Terra felt like starting the fun first. Kadaj paused and stood his ground, smirking as he watched his enemy approach before swinging his now summoned Keyblade around in three hard strikes before leaping up for a final, forth overhead strike. The silver-haired youth still held his smirk, jumping backward in three small steps for each of the first three strikes, all diagonal ones. Kadaj swung his Souba out from behind him, a loud impact of steel striking steel echoing throughout the arena three times for each attack he blocked. As the Keybarer dived forwards for the last strike, Kadaj mirrored him and jumped backwards, curling his legs in to his chest so he span around backwards, the Keyblade cutting through his hair as he span but striking nothing solid. Landing gracefully upon his feet, his leather boots skidding slightly before finding their grip upon the floor, Kadaj smirked again at the sight of a few silver strands of hair falling down before him. "Nice attack. Try getting closer next time."The Remnant taunted, lifting up his free hand and curling his index finger a couple times, beckoning Terra to come closer to him. But instead he watched as the Keybarer jumped back and created a small bolt of Darkness upon the end of his Keyblade. Kadaj smirked and brought his Souba around in front of him, holding it up defensively. "Ahh, this move again?"The instant Terra fired the bullet, Kadaj broke out in a full blown sprint towards him, his arm holding the Souba swinging back and forth several times to try and destroy as many bullets as he could. Many met their end from the first round fired, yet a handful of them manage to slip past and smash into the Remnant's body in a few places. Mainly hitting his shoulders and arms. That wasn't slowing him down though as he continued to speed towards the Keybarer. As Terra formed the barrier around himself, Kadaj knew that a second load of bullets would be coming his way. Within the next second, Kadaj's whole figure seemed to turn blurry for just a moment. Blinking would mean you'd have missed it. Suddenly, Kadaj seemed to split himself into two identical After Images, each one continuing to sprint towards Terra while moving away from one another slightly to try and spread out the number of bullets heading towards them both. Each Kadaj started to laugh manically as they literally kamikaze-d into the bullets, taking out as many of them as they could before each Remnant vanished into thin air. But what was strange, was that the instant Kadaj split into two beings, his Darkness aura instantly started to come from behind the Keybarer instead of in front. That was because it was where the real Kadaj was! Standing right behind the male Keybarer with his Souba glowing a bright white colour. This meant that an Octaslash was coming. The moment both the After Images met their end, Kadaj sprung forwards and unleashed the Octaslash towards Terra's back, a single sword strike that attempts the slash into the enemy 8 times simultaneously**. Once the single Souba slash was made, Kadaj jumped backwards a fair distance to open the arena up between him, his smirk still spread across his lips as he was clearly enjoying himself. His eyes flashed brightly to see whether or not his little After Image trick caused the 'preemptive' Octaslash to strike home. [/blockquote] **((Kinda like Kenshin's Nine-Headed Dragon attack from Rurouni Kenshin, but only hits 8 times, not 9. - Kad <3)) -=Cooldowns=- After Image - 2 posts. Octaslash - 1 post.
